Dear Father -John Price x F!Reader x Simon 'Ghost' Riley NSFW
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: If you're super religions and/or catholic...look away
Based on a request:
I am too sinning on this app so Ik that it isn't part of the list but what about a priest au? price and ghost having a threesome with a nun or sister (yk what I mean) its all innocent at first she helps around during mass and since both men cant break celibacy they try and stop the 'sinful' thoughts of sister/nun y/n one time they saw her curves and from then on after talking w the other they decided to corner her and fuck her ____ F!Reader, smut, MDNI, 18+, dub-con, hierophilia, threesome, priest!Price, priest!Ghost, spit roast, some degrading, nun/sister!reader unprotected!sex, oral!sex, P-in-V, priest au, nun/sister au ____
A/N: personally, I love the idea of getting fucked by a priest...especially by these two. Also inspired by many of the band Ghost songs
You walked the halls of the holy temple, rosemary in hand as you made your way to mass. "Sister," Father John greeted. "Hello Father, having a great evening?" You and him walk the hall together. "It has been a delightful one, sister. And how is your evening this fine day?" The Bible by his hand. "Oh mine has been pleasant," you smile a little. "Have you spoken with Father Simon?" You nod, "I have, he seems excited for this evening, I heard we will have a larger group this holy day." You comment. As you walk inside you see the children help set up the mantle on the altar, the bible and wine carefully set up as well. You sit in one of the chairs by the altar, Father Simon comes out to make sure the temple looks well for when the townspeople arrive. "Ah..sister R/N, how are you today?" the holy man spoke. "I'm fine father, and yourself?"
"Couldn't be happier, now remember sister, you must make sure not to let that little head of yours get lost when I give the sermon." He pats your head and makes his merry way upstairs where he changes into his attire. You walk towards the door, helping the townspeople in, all in their best attire for this day. The sign of the cross is all done by them as they walk into the temple. The rosemary in hand as mass began. You sat neatly by the altar, praying and listening to Simon. He gave a couple of jokes to the people attending, much of which people laughed. It was communion when you were in line and his finger touched your lip, and you opened it. "The body of Christ," the way he said it, so alluring to the thoughts you once had as a young woman of the church. "Amen," you respond and eat the bread. You go back to your seat and pray.
After mass, all the people left, the cleaning crew and townspeople, it was just Father John and Simon with you. You stayed on your knees, praying for all the people that attended. In the candle-lit room, the two priests joining you. Kneeling beside you and letting you stay between them. They held your hand, praying with you. Once it was over, they returned to their room. "Amen," you whisper and try and forget about the sinful thoughts both priests gave you. You walked back to your room until you heard some moans. It had to be some of the people you let sleep for shelter but as you were about to knock on the door of Father Price, Simon walked into the hallway. "Sister?" his voice like a whisper. "Father, I think I heard a noise-"
"Go to bed, R/N, we'll discuss this in the morning, good night," he walked back into his room and as you walked past Father John's room, the moans continued. Could he be sick? No, that can't be, he is a very healthy man. Once in your room, you prayed and got into your nightgown. By morning, you walked the halls again and made sure the kitchen and offices were clean and ready for the day. It was a Monday, meaning a few people would show up to confess. "Father John will do confessionals today," you informed. People of all backgrounds nodded in delight, ready to have their sins forgiven.
By the evening, you were approached by Simon. "Are you confessing today?" an innocent question with ulterior motives. "Yes, father." A simple and short response, one that began the entire evening. As the doors to the public closed and you walked into the confessional booth, you sat down. "What are your sins, child," Johns's voice so soft. A confession that was meant to stay in between the walls. "I've been having unholy thoughts," your voice so small and full of embarrassment. "About what or who, child?" He knew who this was, and an excited smirk appeared on his face. "About the priests in this church, I don't know how it got to this point, I'm sorry, Father." You look down, the rosemary on your hands, playing with the beads out of nerves. He knew what the evening had planned for the three of them.
"On your knees child, pray to be forgiven." Words that would later be repeated during the night. You did so, prayed and prayed, hoping for forgiveness. To break celibacy, something the church penalised their holy men. The oath to be devoted to the man up above was now broken to worship the temptress that roamed the halls, dressed as a holy woman. A succubus that knew she was their weakness, clothed in holy clothes, to be undressed and fucked like the whore she is and wants to be.
You in Simon's ear, crying and confessing to him too. "I'm sorry Father, I know this is wrong, I'm sorry I didn't mean to think of this." He shakes his head, a lying motion to be proven soon. John walks in, holy water in a bowl in his hand, rosemary on the other. He and Simon look at each other, their plan to work. "Get on your knees and beg for forgiveness," Simon demands. Your teary eyes are now filled with confusion but you don't question this, you get on your knees, and begin to pray until he stops you. Thumb under your chin, making you look up. "Not like that, sister, open your mouth, be a good girl," John says. You open your mouth, and a sense of newfound arousal finds its way to you. If the heavens spoke, this would be the beginning of a long overdue sin. Two priests, three sinners and a saint, all in one room, ready to corrupt the one thing that began to crack under the very same roof they spoke holy words. Both men spit in your mouth, "Swallow," Simon commands this time and you nod. Their zippers undone, their hair pulled, their cocks ready to be pleased by the mouth of a saint.
Your mouth and body are about to become their temple. John is the first to begin to stroke his cock in front of your face. Simon followed right after. Worshipping the very thing they had sworn to never do, a woman and the sexual desire they so have needed. Let me have you, the devils spoke in a whisper. Your mouth being teased by John's tip, all red and swollen, letting the innocent nun look up with such a good girl stare, it melted their hearts. "Suck on it," he tells you, your lips wrapped around his thick shaft. His hand is on your hair, pushing your head further in. You gag and cry, trying to hold in all the noise the room could not listen to. Simon can't take it any longer. "Pray for us, R/N," the young priest says. A prayer that will send you three over the edge on a bed made for one holy man. Simon pulled you away from John, placing you on the bed on all fours, Simon massaging your ass before taking your clothes off. The a need to have this, already leaving your panties soaked. It was true what they said, to worship is to be devoted and in this moment, they are devoted to your body and you to theirs.
You mewl when you feel Simon slap your now bare ass, your shirt ripped from you as John teases your face with kisses. Your tits slapped before he cups your face with aggression, "You're nothing but a fucking slut, you know that, R/N?" Before you could even respond he slaps your face and smirks. Simon's thick and veiny cock, blessed your walls, and as your cunt was already dripping from just the thought of getting fucked he chuckled. "Our little nun here seems to be eager for this," he tells John. The moans you let out as he hungrily fucked himself into you, were too sinful for such holy men to listen to. It was food in ways no one could understand. John's cock in your mouth, your throat trying its best to accommodate a man his size. Their trousers on the floor, your body the temple for such noises and sins. Your cunt spread open for Simon's size.
You begin to let out whimpers, something so small that you get punished for your pleasure is not of importance in this Your body, like it was possessed by fools gold, making these hungry men fight for every part of it. Their breathing is heavy as your body gets used over and over again. "Just like that, fucking take it," Simon stuttered as he has found pleasure he was forbidden to feel. John touched your body only when the holy water was on his hands as if he were to burn if he didn't touch the water before touching the devil herself. "You're nothing but a slut, aren't you, hm…say it…say it you bitch," John slapped your face and pulled his cock out to let you breathe. Between heavy panting, you responded, "I'm…a slut, Father." Your voice is hoarse, barely above a loud whisper.
"That's fucking right," he forces your mouth open and spits on it again. His cock back in your mouth that thins at his size. Simon can't help but slap your ass, wanting to mark it as his. If this was how you received forgiveness, then the more sins you must commit. The devil grins this night, for he has made this night turn from holy to his own little game. To taunt all believers and worshippers. It was a night of ritual, one to commence when all-powerful and mythical mysteries went to roam the earth. Some call it adultery, some call it fun. You played with black magic, getting daddied by men who were never dad. Giving you things you never once had. Simon's cock twitching, begging for release. You kept swallowing the pre-cum that leaked from Johns cock. John's breathing escapes in short ones, not being able to contain his orgasm for any longer. You know he is close, his cock twitches and you can feel how it is pulsating in your mouth.
He groans, head thrown back as he fills your mouth with his cum. His movements were desperate, your face flushed as he held you in place. Simon let his cock sink into your greedy body, his hands holding you as in his head, he too asked for forgivenes. Your walls clench around Simon, your breathing getting heavier. And although it was never intended, he knew that with each thrust he was getting you closer to heaven as well. John pulls out, forces you to swallow his cum and he grins when your mascara stained face looks up at him as his mate continues to fuck you. "You like that, don't you?" he whispers and kisses you as he bends. His face cupping yours. Wet kisses and groans filled the room. No longer sacred by definition.
Simon filled you with his sticky seed, his groans turned to moans when he felt your cunt pulsating, your walls milking him for all he is worth. It was perfect, he turned you into his personal fleshlight. You let out whimpers as he pulls out, your cunt abused and leaking the seed of a holy man. What a great use for a whore that desguises herself as a nun. You clit sensitive, the men laid you on your back and between them. A secret amongst three people, to be repeated but never spoken of. A sin that will carry for as long as time. The holy water John brought it, used to clean your sweat, tears and the cum that displayed on your body. The rosemary, used to hang from your neck as they kissed it all night long. Two priests, three sinners and one former saint, a corruption well done.

In honor of Father's Day, here's some things about my dad that tiktokers would refer to as a "biege flag:"
He likes to take the squeakers out of dog toys and carry them around so that when he shakes hands with someone (usually children) he can make a loud squeaking sound
Whenever we get fast food and they ask for a name for his order, he says "Alvin." His name is not Alvin. None of us are named Alvin. He does this solely because he wants to hear an employee yell out "ALVIIIIIIIIN!" like Dave from Alvin and the Chipmunks.
He is not an animal person by any stretch of the word and thinks getting any pet would only be a wate of money. Despite this, one night while working overnight in the toy aisle at Walmart, he had a conversation with one of those Fur Real animatronic kittens, and by the end of his shift he had bonded with it to such an extent that he purchased her, and she now guards his tub of cheeseballs.
One time he was putting some shelves up in my room. He always says he's not a carpenter and if we have carpentry needs we should call his brother, who is a carpenter. Despite this, he does what he can. In this particular incident, the hanging shelves, which were basically just boards with a ridge on the front edge, were just a couple centimeters too long to fit in between the doorframe of my bedroom door and my closet door. Rather than do the obvious and cut the shelves shorter, he just cut a couple chunks out of my closet doorframe so the shelves fit.
My dad once saw an ad for one of those strategy puzzle games and decided to try out the game. However, through the power of false advertising, the game turned out to be a tower-defense, clan-building, land-conquering combat game. Rather than uninstall the app, he just kept playing and it's now one of his favorite pastimes.
In the above game, he joined a clan. The rest of his clan is primarily Japanese people who only speak Japanese. My dad does not speak Japanese. He uses Google Translate for this a lot.
He often tells the story of how, at college, he was on the campus security detail, and he would begin every night's shift by sliding down the railing of the main lobby staircase.
Another college story is how he once "guessed" a girl's middle name to impress her and got it correct right away. In truth, he knew what her middle name was because he saw her full name engraved on her Bible that she'd had with her at an orientation session. That girl was my mom and they've been happily married for over two decades.
Anyways happy father's day to my dad!

Ferral desmond has my heart. So here are some feral desmond head canons
1. Extremely flexible and amazing at hiding even before the animus
2. blast the most aggressive music with a straight face. Like his headphones will be screaming about murdering people for drugs, and he'll just be chilling.
3. He definitely takes insane amounts of melatonin to fall asleep like 40+mg (please don't do that that is not safe).
4. Has started multiple bar fights on purpose.
5. Has connections to gangs.
6. Has never paid taxes, the IRS hates him.
7. He got really drunk and decided to have an energy drink with it. He ended up hacking into government intelligence and had to skip town because the fbi had tried to kill him
8. He is really good at throwing knives but can't shoot a bow to save his life. Like give him a set of throwing knives, and he can take down abstergo in an hour, give him a bow, and he'll be dead.
9. Once he learned how to fall safely, he started jumping off tall buildings for fun
10. A complete adrenaline junkie he spends most of his time at 6 flags
11. His feral-ness is not helped by the fact that he has the diet of a pre-med student reheated coffees with a side of hope and prayers
12. Prefers sleeping on the floor will 100% take the floor over a bed the only reason he has a mattress was so his friends had some where to sleep when they came over.
13. When he gets high, he either has questions that could get him on a watchlist or he's climbing the walls
14. He enjoys scaring children
15. Is very picky about keeping things a specific way. He can sense when someone is trying to reorganize his spice cabinet
16. LOVES spicy food. If he's not crying by the end, then it wasn't hot enough
17. His notes app is so fucking random like he has his grocery list, a hit list, the Geneva conventions, the bee movie script, the fucking Bible (he's not even Christian)
18. Once, he fist fought a gang leader and won.
19. He has had to disappear on multiple occasions because the FBI tried to revoke his life subscription
20. The only reason he got taken by Templars was because he was about to skip town again, but then Abstergo walked in and he was like "sweet I won't have to run across the country again thanks guys!"
21. Back at the farm, Bill had smacked one of his friends, and desmond had to be held back by 5 people (3 of which were seriously injured after)
22. He doesn't typically get angry, but when he does, everyone scatters bc he is punching concrete, and- *how tf did he just crack the concrete with a single punch?*
23. Never sleep (he might be batman)
24. "Do it, you won't" has been said to him too many times, and each time, he proves that he will, in fact, do it
25. If you gave that man a full 8 hour sleep along with a proper meal, he would be able to take over a country

8-13-2024 | Bible App Their Verse of the Day | Proverbs 16:9
‘A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord determines his step.’ Proverbs 16:9
A Song of ascents.
‘Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways! For when you eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine flourishing within your house, your sons like olive shoots sitting around your table. In this way indeed shall blessing come to the man who fears the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life, that you may see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!”’ Psalms‬ ‭128‬:‭1‬-‭6‬
‘We are like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.’ Isaiah 53:6

Studying the Bible Effectively: A Beginner's Guide
Studying the Bible can seem daunting at first, but with the right approach and tools, it can allow so much spiritual growth!! Whether you're new to the faith or a seasoned believer, having a structured method can improve and ease your experience. Here's a straightforward guide to help you get started on your Bible study journey!
Choosing a Translation
One of the first decisions to make when studying the Bible is choosing a translation that suits your needs and preferences. There are several translations available, each with its own approach to translation. Here are the three categories they fall into.
1. Word for Word Translation: These translations, such as the King James Version (KJV) or English Standard Version (ESV), aim to follow the original texts as closely as possible, offering a literal rendering of the words and phrases. They are great for detailed study and analysis of the text.
2. Thought for Thought Translation: These translations prioritize clarity and readability, conveying the original meaning in modern language by updating language to be mor relevant to modern readers. They are ideal for easy comprehension, especially for beginners or those looking for a straightforward understanding.
3. Paraphrased Translation: These translations capture the essence or gist of the message rather than focusing on precise wording. They are often easier to understand and are suitable for new believers or younger children. However, they are most likely to stray from the original text and can sometimes be slightly inaccurate.
When I am reading to spend time with God (such as my daily reading) I use NLT, which is a thought for thought translation and therefore easier to understand. However, during bible study it is advisable to keep a word for word translation on hand (I use the KJV translation in the YouVersion bible app alongside a physical copy of the NLT).
Establishing a Study Routine
1. Prayer: Before sitting down to read, it's essential to prepare yourself spiritually and mentally. Begin your study session with a prayer, asking God to open your mind and heart to His word and guide you in your understanding.
2. Reading the Passage: Start by reading the passage without taking notes or annotating. Try to grasp the overall message and what God is communicating to you.
3. Annotation and Reflection: Read the passage again, this time making notes of any observations, questions, or insights that come to mind. Consider who is involved, what is happening, why, when, and how. Reflect on the message God is conveying through the text.
4. Consulting Study Tools: Dive deeper into the passage by using study tools such as Bible commentaries, online resources, or cross-referencing different translations. This helps gain a broader perspective and insight into the text. They often also include historical context and reasons for writing.
5. Application: Reflect on how the passage applies to your life. Identify one or two key messages and think about how you can incorporate them into your daily life. Is the scripture challenging you to change certain behaviours, draw closer to God, or strengthen your faith? Pray for guidance on how to apply these insights. Personally, I like to make an extra effort to apply these in the upcoming week.
Conclusion
Studying the Bible is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about cultivating a deeper relationship with God and living out His word in our lives. By choosing the right translation, establishing a study routine, and seeking guidance through prayer and study tools, you can embark on a fulfilling journey of spiritual growth and understanding. Remember, consistency and patience are key, so keep seeking God's wisdom as you delve into His word.

Pope Francis said atheists are covered by the blood of Jesus without faith. Pope Francis said all religions lead to God and should be embraced. He said non-Christians are children of God. He said God made some people gay, & Priests can bless gay marriages. Pope Francis said Jesus' life and the cross ended in failure. Pope Francis said Jesus is not a spirit, but a glorified man. Pope Francis said it's absurd to think that anyone can have a personal direct relationship with Jesus Christ. Pope Francis said that Mary is the road we must travel to reach God. These are all lies from Satan. Pope Francis is possibly the False Prophet from the book of Revelation. If so, he will usher in the Antichrist from Revelation 13. Nobody in the Bible prayed to Mary. Purgatory is unbiblical. Watch the video Pope Francis and His Lies: False Prophet exposed on YouTube. Also watch Are Catholics Saved on the Reformed Christian Teaching channel on YouTube. Watch the Messiah 2030 YouTube channel for proof that 52 Bible prophecies point to 2030, which is also the year of the Great Reset. Friends should draw you closer to holiness and Jesus Christ. If they pull you towards sin more than holiness then you should walk away. Obey Jesus Christ over everyone. Get the gotquestions app and a Bible app that reads to you like You Version.  Put the New Testament on repeat. Get a study Bible. Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ!

‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:46‭-‬55‬ ‭NLT‬‬. “The Magnificat: Mary’s Song Of Praise: Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones. He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away with empty hands. He has helped his servant Israel and remembered to be merciful. For he made this promise to our ancestors, to Abraham and his children forever.”
Day 1 —“Wait With A Purpose”
“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” (v. 46)
“Every December when his children were little, pastor and writer Lou Lotz and his wife would make an Advent Activity Calendar and hang it on the fridge. Every day they’d lift up the paper flap and there would be a family activity for the day and an accompanying Scripture reading. The calendar provided a way to focus attention on the coming celebration of Jesus’ birth.
That’s the point of Advent calendars, and the season of Advent—to prepare for the coming (or advent) of Jesus. Just as all creation waited for Jesus’ birth, we now wait for Jesus to come again. In our passage today, Mary provides us with an example. As she waits for Jesus to be born she worships God for being faithful; for taking care of his people again and again, and she joyfully welcomes her part in that work.
For kids, December can feel endless and a little empty—full of nothing but waiting. For adults, in contrast, December can feel overstuffed and sometimes a little empty of joy. In the devotions between now and Christmas, we invite you to wait joyfully. Each day we will offer a Bible reading and short activity—acts of service, fun, reflection, or prayer. With Mary, we hope you will lean on God’s faithfulness in your waiting and find ways to participate in God’s good work in the world.
Today’s Activity: Make a list of the things you are looking forward to in this Advent season, and prioritize those that make your spirit rejoice in God like Mary did.”
[I found this plan today on The Youversion app. This is actually the devotional for December 1st, but it's too good to wait another year to share it. I'll share the December 16th devotional later. If you would like to read and download the whole inspirational advent calendar, click here.]

Cw: mention of harassment
When I was in high school around early 2000s I joined “gay straight alliance”. During that time I studied the numbers of those apart of the lgbtq+ were discriminated against in schools when identifying as lgbtq+ and how schools felt with that. It grabbed the attention to our local news paper asking me to make a commentary piece in it. Mind you I was a junior in high school.
I wrote the piece with facts and proof how it was still on going. How schools need to change their policy on “S.H.” To included those apart of the lgbtq+ community. We brought a visual with desks that showed what daily life was like for those who are lgbtq and stories of people murdered based on their sexual and gender identity.
That summer school changed their policy, adding sexuality and identity of lgbtq+ being included based on things I said and did. In my senior year. I was saved by said policy. And here is how. I was in a class where I helped with disabled teens (since I couldn’t do p.e. For my health) there was a student who I friended and who begin reporting false reports I was making advanced on her. This was only when she found out I was a trans. Every day I was pulled out of class for false reports.
On Halloween i was nearly kicked from school till my parents slept in and explained what was going on since apparently nobody else would listen to me. I was was having panic attacks over this. Like imagine this. You’re in a class and being pulled out of it by a police officer to tell you to quit making advances on someone who you weren’t making advances towards. Yeah. That!
The school then finally recognized I was the true victim. Sadly their way of dealing with it was locking me in a class room for my safety I stead of dealing with the student making the false reports. My friends (bless them) took me side and went after the person and called them out on their behavior once they knew what happened.
The person left our school. This person used their religious belief to S.H. Me and make false reports because they thought they could get away with it. So…….
With all that going on in the Linked universe with this server. And then publicly posting (we got recites idiots) of their true behavior and such. Reminds me of this all over again. So no! I Will not let this happen again. NO WHERE IN YOUR RELIGION GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO TARGET US IN THIS FANDOM. YOUR VIEW IS FAKE NEWS! (Also don’t quote the Bible, cause Bible was written like a fanfiction by people who had no connection to god/goddesses.)
So this my personal experience on this issue. Do I hate religion. No. I think religion is good in helping people better themselves in a spiritual side. However nowhere does religion excuse the amount of judgment a person makes. God/Goddesses love you no matter who you are. If your lgbtq+ they love you. If you believe differently (region wise) they love you. Racially different, you were loved.
Along the line of schools showing porn to children, people who have been found to be false. In elementary all we learned in separate gender classes about what to expect from our body changes. Middle school to high school was about being smart and using protection and about sexual transmitted disease. Nothing bout sexuality. Which was hardly touched on. Nothing pornagraphic! Doubt they are doing that even now! Your proof and reports are in fake reports. So hi. We are calling you out because you’re the reason majority of those who identify as lgbtq+ and such are the target of misinformation and people with dangerous ideology. Ones where many may ender their life due to your comments. To lot worst. So don’t “@“ me. I won’t respond, but will expose you, so people know who not to trust.
I am here to protect my fellow people. You didn’t need to say what you said, because now we all know in a app and fandom surrounded by people of all walks of life. Who we know not to trust. Don’t want to make it politics, well fuck. That was on you when you publicly announced the server. “Don’t like pride on a political commercial” guess what. Many died to make pride to happen. That ain’t political or commercial. That was wanting equality rights. To be allowed to love who they love and not be thrown in jail over it. Gay marriage, I can’t tell you how sad it is that people are so stuck thinking gay marriage ruins those who are straight. It harms no one. You’re the one worrying how it impacts you.
Gender affirming surgery is necessary. I know each state delt with that differently and yes a small percentage detransition. However Majora is medically necessary. Many doctors refuse to do surgery on those who are of teenage, unless parental okay and a clinical counselor signs off it is needed so this person gets ontop of hormone therapy. You facts are incorrect and done by people who have been found incredible.
So go on, play like we don’t know or seen your true shit. Your facts are false. Your language is harmful and we ain’t throwing an tantrum. We are calling you out. Your views are false views based of fake documents. And if your religion truely telling you to discriminated a whole community of folks based of how they are. That ain’t a religion.
Any ways. Enjoy your life. Must be hard to spend so much you life hating people based on fake shit.

Ideas for fasting for peace::::
Important Reminder before you read more: Don’t fast from food and medicine if you are nursing, pregnant, and/or have a medical condition that requires that you need medicine! Fasting doesn’t need to involve food. I am not a medical professional so please contact your medical professional before fasting!
————-
Drink coffee only once during the day.
Have decaf tea or coffee instead of all the fancy things.
Replace your sodas and energy drinks with water.
Avoid eating a certain food you like, such as meat.
If you like salt and spices on your food, opt for a blander option.
If you are offered dessert, pick one that isn’t your usual favorite.
Fast from using the dishwasher and wash by hand instead.
Instead of a long shower or bath, set a timer for a short one.
Go one day without any makeup.
Reduce your screen time by at least one hour.
Instead of texting or group chats, replace that with a phone call to your friend.
Dedicate at least one hour to sit down and read your Bible instead of watching tv.
If you’re know a driving shortcut to a destination, take the longer scenic route.
Try being silent for half the day instead of chatting and gossiping.
If you like to go walking and hiking, slow down your pace instead of rushing. Contemplate on the beauty God has made.
Instead of praying a Rosary for your own personal desires, pray it instead for world peace.
Spend at least one hour by the Blessed Sacrament instead of shopping or going out to eat.
Set your alarm to wake up early to help clean your house instead of sleeping in.
Write comforting letters to family and soldiers who are away from home.
Instead of endless scrolling on social media, put down your phone and go spend time with your family face to face, especially your children.
Fast from speaking hurtful words, speak kinder words and compliment someone.
Fast from despair by spending a moment in gratitude.
Fast from interrupting a conversation by becoming a listener.
Fast from selfishness by being compassionate to others.
Fast from the comfort of slippers or your favorite hoodie.
Fast from anger by showing patience and mercy to others.
Avoid clothes shopping. Donate that money to your nearest crisis pregnancy center.
Don’t buy new books. Start reading ones you already have.
Go without headphones for a day.
Don’t listen to music on the way to/back from school or work.
If you normally blast music in your room or house, switch out the favorite station. Replace it with Gregorian chant for one day.
When you play your favorite game, focus on helping others instead of winning.
Offer up your pain and suffering for the conversion of sinners.
Avoid your favorite streaming app for binge watching that show. Replace it with another one where you can grow in prayer and spiritual life.
If you see someone being bullied, don’t be silent and observe. Stand up and help defend the person.
Spend time in person with friends or family to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
Offer up all you do one day for peace.

Behold the lamb of God!
I'm going through a really rough time right now. I was made to feel not safe in my own home in December when a relative who used to mentally abuse me growing up suddenly did something that reminded me of it. I spiraled. Then I spiraled some more.
I'm kind of sort of still spiraling but trying to pick myself up. Or to let God pick me up. I went to church on Christmas Eve (early, service for children), my toddler wasn't crying, he wasn't screaming. But he wasn't still. So I did what I always do. We walked up and down on the side. A woman who worked there looked at me angrily and told me to make sure he was quiet. I can still see her face filled with rage as she leaned down at me (I was low since I was standing next to toddler).
...and then I spiraled again. I've never felt so unwelcome. And yes. Totally overexagerated. I didn't need to be sad. But when you've been dealing with self harming for a few weeks, crying yourself to sleep, finally taking a breath and being in the presence of God and then feeling unwelcome?
The woman saw me leave crying. I sound like a wuss, I'm not. I think I'm just clinically depressed. Onset by the two rough years I have had since having a baby and my dad dying and everything and then the event in December that shall not be named.
I feel tested but I think it's just the depression talking. I know in theory that God loves me and that Jesus is there even though I can't feel it right now. I don't feel much right now at all. But I'm trying to be still and believe and wait.
My favourite Bible app (the biggest one I believe?) has small studies or reading plans you can follow. I'm bad at following day by day so usually I just pick a plan and then read through it in one sitting. The plans which are 5 days or so I can do that. Longer plans aren't always possible. I think it's so handy to read the bible on my phone when I'm too tired or too overwhelmed to pick up my huge pink study bible.
So the other day I opened my Bible app and read a study that talked about how God in the old testament commanded people to continuously remind themselves of him.
Deuteronomy 6: 69
"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
So I've decided to do that. I want to put reminders of God here and there. In every room. The reading plan also talked about how we have some kind of divine amnesia. It seems that if we are not reminded of God we forget. I think that's why it's so important to surround yourself with Christian friends, mind you I have no Christian friends. I'm like many who are surrounded by atheists and agnostics. I'm praying that during this year I'll get some Christian friends. A friend whom my family will accept. There is an LGBT Christian group that meets once a month. My "priest friend" (she isn't my friend but I choose to label her such in my head) goes there.
I have now lost in the point of this post. I want to fix more Christian interior. I want to be reminded of Jesus in every room. Maybe the point of this post is to do like John the Baptist. Say "Behold the Lamb of God"!

Tag game - books
@telomeke tagged me, thank you 🫰🏻
hardcover or paperback // I rarely read anything that isn't an e-book, since I got an Android e-Ink reader and could get my library's app. I'd be hard pressed to choose, though. Hardcover for the thick ones?
bookstore or library // I like owning books. My precious. I love libraries too, but a good bookstore is heaven.
bookmark or receipt // I used to collect bookmarks. My favourite is one intended for use in one's Bible (not the actor), shaped like an Ionic column and prettied up with pressed flowers picked in Jerusalem.
standalone or series // depends on the story.
nonfiction or fiction // BOTH.
thriller or fantasy // well, both really, but I tend to lean towards fantasy/weird fiction.
under 300 pages or over 300 pages // both. Either. It depends. The most moving book in the world is a very slim novella (Reunion by Fred Uhlman).
children's or ya // neither, usually, but sometimes I read one, usually if it's written by someone I know. Sometimes I re-read childhood favourites like The Wind in the Willows.
friends to lovers or enemies to lovers // I love a good friends to lovers, ecpecially when they're a bit dim about it.
read in bed or read on the couch // I have a sleep disorder. No reading in bed for me.
read at night or read in the morning // if I read in the morning I don't get myself to work in time :(
keep pristine or markup // both. Either. It depends. Some of my books show off that I got mad or excited over something, with furious or elated notes in the margin, and I like finding those traces of past me.
cracked spine or dog ear // NEITHER. I like to keep my things neat.
Currently reading: Casino Royale by Ian Fleming and I'm having a blast.
Tumblr media
Unsullied version to cut and paste if you want to do it - and as usual, if you've read this far you're tagged. No cheating.

Christianity in today's world
Tumblr media
With social media being at the forefront of today's world, and everyone being on social media and sharing all of their opinions, whether those opinions are popular or not, sharing their religious views, whether thats Christianity or any other religion as there lots of other religions, I'm here to speak on Christianity in today's world and my view on how it's portrayed in social media. I've been around on social media since the days of myspace, yup I'm a millennial, figures right? Anyway the internet being in everyones hand is both a good and bad thing, I can grab my phone, post a bible verse of the day on any platform, and go back to either scrolling aimlessly and filling my friends or family's inboxes with videos of cute babies doing silly things, or puppies,or kittens, or videos from other christians. We forget that we have the ability to have the bible right in our hand 24/7 whether its a physical bible or an app, or a book you bought on apple book store or google play book store, we have the ability to fully live in God's word, and some of scroll online, or we're out there commenting and not acting Christ like at all, not acting how Christians should behave according to God's word, now this isnt a Christianity call out post, I'm merely speaking on what I've seen. Christianity is one of, if not the most hated group of people on this planet, we're persecuted, mocked, ridiculed, daily, not that we didn't get told this was going to happen, I definitely see lots of people taking it personally, I've even fallen in and taken it personally a couple times.
Being a christian has its challenges in the world, it's definitely something to note, that we as Christians have prayed for so many people, whether that's out of love or not, I can't speak for everyone, but for myself it's definitely out of love. One of the ways Christians have been divided in today's world is when it comes to politics, I've seen Christians call other Christians fake, solely because they didn't want speak politically, but as children of God we're not meant to be divided in any way, we're meant to help each other, lift each other up, pray for others, be one body.
With Christians being on the most popular platforms a lot of us try to post wholesome content, bible verse of the day videos, offer prayer and just be loving, people sometimes seem to forget we're people too and we stumble, we mess up, we make mistakes, BUT we're forgiven we're covered, redeemed, made new, made free. And that's amazing, we have experienced a love so big, so deep, so much more than our human brains can even fathom, that's why we talk the way we do, and preach the gospel, I've seen so many times people talking about how we're forcing our religion down their throats, when that's far from it for most people, I want deny there are definitely people who can be more abrasive than others, and we know church hurt is a very real thing, and again I can only speak for myself when I say this, I'm sorry those people did or said things that were wrong, I don't agree or support their opinion, I do however hope you don't hold onto the way they made you feel that you rise above and show everyone just how amazing you are, and never forget you're fearfully and wonderfully made, you're loved, and those people shouldn't be holding you back from experincing the greatest love you can ever have. You're wonderful, and as Christians in todays world we just keep trying to preach the gospel and walk in love, and show you just how loved you are, and I hope you feel that love every day.

This just creeps me out.
At work right now is a conference that I can only describe as "creepy".
Especially when you look at it in the context of real world problems.
I won't use the exact name of it, but if if you boil it down to its basic level (with out all the sickening sugar coated disguises) it needs a more accurate name.
It's name should be "Brain washing and indoctrination of kids to religion "
And it's disgusting.
As I was walking their version of a trade show with booths and displays in the Convention Center I saw things with titles such as:
Bibles for kids!
Kids Bible Apps for your phone!
Jesus based science and history!
Abuse detection and reactions!
That last one is laughably ironic as the religion business is BY FAR the number one place of childrens assaults outside of the home.
I'm glad I'm away from here the next few days.
This place is dripping with indoctrination and brain washing.
I can feel the hate, the bigotry the intolerance and discrimination oozing from this place.
Yuck!

The Antichrist & rapture are close. Go to Messiah2030 on YouTube to see how 53 Bible prophecies point to 2030 being the return of Jesus Christ. They also line up with The Great Reset of 2030. Be ready. Study God's word and preach Jesus Christ. Keep repenting & preach repentance. We're saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, alone. 666 is the number of a man - The Antichrist. The Illuminati is preparing the world for the Antichrist & the Mark of the Beast. Pope Francis said atheists are covered by the blood of Jesus without faith. Pope Francis said all religions lead to God & should be embraced. He said non-Christians are children of God. He said God made some people gay. Pope Francis said Jesus' life & the cross ended in failure. Pope Francis said Jesus is not a spirit, but a glorified man. Pope Francis said it's absurd to think that anyone can have a personal direct relationship with Jesusp Christ. Friends should draw you closer to holiness & Jesus Christ. If they pull you towards sin more than holiness then you should walk away. Obey Jesus Christ over everyone. Get the gotquestions app & a Bible app that reads to you like You Version.  Put the New Testament on repeat. Get a study Bible. Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ! It's way more important than you think.

Hallow App: Elevate Your Meditation Practice to New Heights
Shaina Tranquilino
January 7, 2024
Tumblr media
In today's fast-paced and digitally-driven world, finding moments of peace and tranquility can be challenging. However, thanks to technological advancements, we now have access to countless apps designed to help us improve our overall well-being. Among these remarkable offerings is the Hallow app – a powerful tool that aims to transform your meditation practice into a deeply enriching and transformative experience.
What is Hallow?
Hallow is an innovative meditation app specifically tailored for Christians, Catholics, or really anyone, seeking to deepen their spirituality through prayer and contemplation. This unique platform combines ancient Christian and Catholic traditions with modern technology to provide users with a comprehensive range of guided meditations, prayers, reflections, sleep stories, and more.
For some reason, I feel called to return to my roots and practice more "traditional" spirituality. At the beginning of this new year in 2024, I felt compelled to read the Bible, making it my New Year's resolution. Growing up Catholic and attending Catholic elementary and high school, I have previously read the Bible. However, at that time, I found it somewhat boring as it was not taught in an engaging manner suitable for children. Nevertheless, with the Hallow App, I find that they present passages from the Bible in a more comprehensible manner. Not only do they offer easy-to-understand explanations, but they also provide options like listening to the Bible or their teachings presented poetically or through meditation styles. This app is ideal for individuals who prefer a less traditional approach to learning about God, connecting with God, and reading the Bible as it offers a simpler and more accessible way.
Features and Benefits:
1. Guided Catholic Meditations: Hallow offers a vast library of guided meditations led by experienced Catholic priests, theologians, and spiritual directors. These meditations cover various themes such as gratitude, forgiveness, healing, discernment, anxiety relief, and many more. Each session incorporates scripture readings, personal reflections, and soothing music to guide users towards a deeper connection with God.
2. Daily Prayer Plans: To foster consistency and growth in one's spiritual journey, Hallow provides personalized daily prayer plans that cater to different needs and goals. Whether you're looking for assistance in developing a habit of prayer or seeking specific intentions like inner peace or strength during difficult times – Hallow has you covered.
3. Sleep Stories & Music: Recognizing the importance of quality sleep for overall well-being, Hallow includes calming sleep stories inspired by Christian spirituality that gently lull users into deep relaxation before bed. Additionally, the app offers peaceful instrumental music tracks ideal for meditation sessions or simply creating a serene ambiance throughout the day.
4. Community Support: One of the standout features of Hallow is its supportive community aspect. Users can connect with fellow Christians around the world, share their experiences, and offer encouragement. This sense of community fosters a supportive environment that helps users stay motivated and committed to their spiritual practice.
In a world filled with distractions and stress, finding moments of peace and connecting with our spirituality is essential for our overall well-being. The Hallow app provides an invaluable resource for Christians, Catholics, or really anyone, seeking to deepen their relationship with God through meditation, prayer, and reflection. With its extensive library of guided meditations, personalized prayer plans, sleep stories, and vibrant community support – Hallow empowers individuals to embark on a transformative journey towards spiritual growth and inner peace.
So why not take the first step toward enhancing your meditation practice today? Download the Hallow app and experience the profound benefits it has to offer – allowing yourself to be guided towards a more centred and fulfilling life rooted in Christian spirituality. https://hallow.com/
