Vander makes Vi believe that whatever happened is on her. So Vi suffers and her guilt is so deep and destructive, believing that she turned Jinx into a monster and that what happened to Caitlyn's mother and to Piltover is her fault, she wants to prevent more ppl from getting hurt, and she feels she needs to go after Jinx, and she even believes that the war that will happen to Zaun is her fault.
So she tries to make things right as much as possible in a way that she believes is right. Like Christian Linke said here👇
But unfortunately she will fail for some reason and will become a Pit fighter.
what are your thoughts on your religion stealing every single one of its holidays from pagans? xo
That in order to relieve themselves of guilt and discomfort, white people create and believe narratives that deprive their European ancestors of any autonomy whatsoever. Casting their ancestors as victims of the church rather than active participants.
gentle reminder: nothing in this world has the power to take away your worth. not what's been done to you, not the mistakes you've made, not the things you've failed to do, not the assertions other people make. you are breathing. you are alive. you are a person. nothing else is needed to give you value.
Do you ever get attacked by homophobes about your art?
A lot less than I had initially feared. I think the only times when I've gotten some purposefully homophobic comments on twitter is when I've drawn my dogs looking very clearly in love while mixing in religious elements in some particularly transparent way. But even then it's been more like displeased grumbling than a direct attack. For the most part people have been remarkably chill, I hope it stays that way.
it makes no sense to claim to be a radfem while being het-partnered. maybe ur some other form of feminist, but certainly not a radfem. i also think the women who claim to be radfems while calling women dick-obsessed and other vulgar terms are not radfems either. these two beliefs can (and should) coexist
it is imp to remember that this is not about religion and the ethnic cleansing of artsakh proves this. all oppressive regimes are connected regardless of religion and that is why azerbaijan and israel have good relations. another example is saudi arabia having good relations with america and israel while also killing other muslims in yemen.
interestingly, like israel, saudi also uses religion to gain credibility (recently got holy mosque imam to give statement condemning boycotts and encouraging muslims to not be involved in the situation in palestine) and recruit muslim supporters from all over the world, while simultaneously killing/imprisoning muslim critics of the kingdom.
similarly, israel sells itself as a safe haven for jews and convinces jews around the world to migrate to israel while also simultaneously criminalizing antizionist jews all over the world, even suggesting that theyre not 'real jews' (reminiscent of takfirism which is a core part of saudi wahabi ideology) [ fun fact: the house of saud came into power in arabia with help from the british, just like the zionists in palestine! ]
oppressive regimes are directly connected and mirror each other in several ways. this is why liberation and resistance movements need to unite and work together across the world
“Religious compound” he grew up in A PARISH of a CHURCH in MASSACHUSETTS where his father works in ITS PUBLISHING PRESS! he was a choir boy! he did IT for the church as teenager!!
saw this on Twitter, so... here's a reminder to keep boycotting or start doing so if you were unaware of the boycotts!
also, remember to do your daily clicks here (it's 100% free to do; how it works is that it generates ad revenue that goes towards aiding Palestinians), spread word about what's going on, and donate to vetted fundraisers if you're able to!
