I was dead. Only, I rose up again. Like Lazarus. Lady Lazarus. That's me.

I can accept tension in the Raoulstine marriage, but for me, it would have to be more like Shauna and Jeff in Yellowjackets than the ooc melodrama of LND. Raoul, helpless about how to reach his wife as she suffers from PTSD and her dark impulses, sticks by her 110% and probably plays too much the knight in shining armor to compensate. He gets stuck in an "I'm responsible for a lot of her breakdown so I have to shoulder it" loop. Christine, meanwhile, desperately needs the love and support he offers, but previously stated PTSD combined with her own displaced guilt for Erik's actions and leaving him keep her from fully embracing that love and support. She tries to make it up to Erik by singing for him in America, but realizes that once again she's fallen into his trap and that he hasn't yet changed his ways enough for her to be fully safe around.
And Raoul, he didn't even suspect Erik hired her until she finally breaks it to him.

Imagine this, but "There was no offer from Hammerstein?!"
Now imagine Warren Kole and Melanie Lynskey as matured Raoul and Christine, and tell me all this doesn't paint a perfect picture.

The first episode of Dexter's Laboratory premiered on March 24, 1996 according to IMDB (people in the trivia gave the date as premiering as a special on TNT on April 27 or 28). It was actually the third episode produced. It was the first Cartoon Network original series produced by Cartoon Network Studios and the first Cartoon Cartoon original series to premiere on Cartoon Network since What a Cartoon! ("Deedeemensional", "Dial M for Monkey: Magmanamus", "Maternal Combat", Dexter's Laboratory, TV Event)

Melissa Dye, Christine in Toronto 1999.
She was the last principal Christine in Toronto, but surprisingly few photos of her has surfaced. Possibly only this one official photo? It’s from the final official souvenir brochure; the lower one as it appears in the brochure, and the upper one edited: straightened and with a white background.
(my edit, please credit if reposting elsewhere)

“I guess I would profess to believe that you shouldn’t try to write a song that you think sounds like someone else. But that’s the bar I’ve been aiming for most of my life. When you aim that high, chances are you’re going end up hitting something more interesting than just what’s easiest to hit.”
- Jeff Tweedy on trying to write pop songs like Christine McVie.
