LOL so DR & I actually go way back. I loved both UT & DR, though I never played it - instead I just watched & read everything I could find & drew some fanart (more so for UT, though I did make some DR art, too).

This is the first time I’m actually playing it, & having lots of fun >u< The gameplay is a lot more my jam than UT. 🩵

Toto The Cactus: I HAVE THIS MIGHTY NEED TO PROJECTILE VOMIT YOU THIS DAMN IDEA I GOT BECAUSE YALL ARE THE DAMN REASON FOR THIS BRAIN ROT. So, I've been reading the Valdor x Emperor's Shard Reader and I'm in love with them, but imagine that the few still alive and present loyal Primarchs hear the rumors about this supposed incarnation of their father and I can see someone like Lion having to go and SEE by himself if its true. Now imagine not only the thick drowning tension that would infect the room in that scenario because fucking Valdor is ready to throw hands with the Primarchs as he refuses to let them be even near the Reader. Last time he let his first Master close to a Primarch, they killed him and as they became corrupted by the Chaos, so of course he will refuse to let his Beloved by near to her 'children' of a past life.

But then you come out, tired and a bit pale but the presence, the light that the Primarch can feel oozing from you is enough to confirm it to them.

And imagine poor Reader too, thinking that this was it! That finally some of the Primarchs were here and that they will knock some sense into Valdor and make him realize that you aren't the Emperor's Shard and that you'll finally be free on your marry way...

But to your slow dawning horror, nothing of that happens.

Instead, Lion is the first one to kneel and, as he calls you 'his Emperor', the rest of them follows too, feeling how Valdor looms over you like the ever present shadow that he will always be for you while his huge hand stays close to your shoulder and neck like the ghost of a warning and a lovers tender embrace simultaneously.

Austin did date Vanessa for a long time. She was older than him but I have seen posts where her immaturity kicks in (ex: her reaction to Covid-19 a few years ago, she was so tone deaf about it, or her liking comments she shouldn’t) I really like Vanessa until she does something silly and it’s like?!? Are you not a grown woman? You are married with a baby there’s no reason to throw shade. That being said I do think Vanessa did love him once upon a time…now Miss Gerber over here can’t say the same.

The thing is that while the age gap between Austin and Kaia is odd, let’s be real…it could be so much worse (cough cough there’s couples that are literally twenty years apart or more it’s ick😵‍💫) don’t even get me started on DiCaprio dating girls that are barely legal…Austin at least has long term relationships, the main issue here is Kaia acts even more immature than her age. Stay with me here…I’ve met twenty three year olds who are mature and know what they want in life they don’t embarrass themselves consistently. Then I’ve met some that are not so much! They love to party. They love to still act like a wild teen. This is Kaia’s case.

The issue here is she acts like a teenager, a petty one.

She doesn’t love Austin. She loves what he can offer her. That’s what shippers can’t see. It’s clear as day. Even he can see it. It shows in his face!

I think Austin needs to work on finding someone mature and not just someone that seems fun in the beginning because that will fade and the person will get under your skin. I hope in this new year he realizes it’s better to be single than have someone leech off of you. Because in this case she’s a leech and she won’t let go until you force her off.

I hope he learns it’s okay not to let people down, as long as he takes care of himself. The right love will never be parasitic.

Anyway, I totally agree with you on a lot of things you mentioned. I personally don't have anything really against Vanessa, but I do feel that her Covid-19 statements and the petty way she treated Austin all throughout his "Elvis" press tour were insensitive, tone-deaf, and just plain unnecessary.

But again, I can at least kinda see where she may have been coming from after the breakup (she actually really LOVED Austin), but the Covid-19 statements were just 🥴

Yea, I agree. I think KG liked Austin, wanted his approval, and liked more so what he could provide for her and her image and attention, but she didn't love-love him like Vanessa did. I'll even go on a limb and will say that I don't think Austin ever really truly loved Kaia either. Not like he loved Vanessa. No way. The differences in his relationship and even just the way he was around Vanessa were totally different from how he was in his relationship with Kaia. (I'm using past-tense because despite what the media might try to say in the next few weeks, it's so clear to me that that relationship has been dead for a very long time 👀).

I see you're about to finish your Season 1 rewatch. Can you list your favorite and least favorite things about the season?

Best thing about Season 1: I think it does a decent job of introducing all the characters and making the viewer care about most of them (unfortunately, that doesn’t include the lead). Plus, there were some interesting incidents.

Least favorite thing: how much it focuses on Andy and her love life. It’s honestly the least compelling storyline. And the voiceovers, I get what they were going for, but I’m so glad they ditched them.

“Are you sure? Because it didn’t seem that way last night,” you stutter, and he’s quick to soothe your worries.

A quick peck to your lips, and he makes himself crystal clear. “Listen to me, I’m not gonna force ya to do something you don’t wanna do. If you don’t want kids then there’s nothing to worry about, I’m not an asshole.”

Your eyes almost water, the weight of fear lifting off your shoulders as you weakly chuckle. “Y’know, the amount of times I’ve had this conversation—it always ends in a break up. This is…really refreshing, honestly.”

“You’ve been dating a bunch of assholes,” he taunts, kissing your temple. “Don’t worry though, you’ve got me.”

“And you’re not an asshole?” You chuckle, leaning forward to kiss him.

“Mhm,” he mumbles. “Not to you, at least.”
