since discovering penny dreadful last year i have decided to never forgive my english literature department for not presenting penny dreadful to us as an adaptation to study when the books we were doing were jekyll & hyde, frankenstein & dracula & as our main assignment for that segment of the degree was adaptations & interpretations of jekyll & hyde, frankenstein & dracula i do think it would have been more beneficial to have had penny dreadful as an adaptation to study rather than the worst version of dracula i have ever seen.
