I may or may not be having a small panic attack. My master document for Emigre was deleted somehow, either by accident or some weird glitch, off of the cloud storage I had it on. That's over twelve years of my life. I am, understandably, very stressed about this. Now, the good news is that the admin for the cloud storage may be able to save the file. I caught the problem almost as soon as it happened, and that increases the chances of recovery significantly.
The bad news is, if that plan fails the last backup I made of the document was back in March - of last year. So. Not ideal.
In short, here's hoping for the admins to work miracles, folks!

Writing about my lego movie Au Wip was not on my bingo card, i just want to yap about it though, I probably won't post much else about this but it won't leave my brain.
Basically, an apocalypse au where the whole thing is the piece isn't found, so the city gets kraggled. Emmet, who had incorrect pieces from a manufacturing error, is a total hermit and avoided being kraggled.
He eventually meets wildstyle and the others who had originally been hiding out in cloud cuckoo land, sneaking around the city to locate the piece.
Emmet in this au, while still friendly and having pretty much the same optimistic outlook, is way less social and is kinda of paranoid. He hesitates on the idea of sticking with them because he assumes he'll make their mission harder but swears to help them anyway he can.
I've got the headcanon that the city was probably where the man upstairs started building, so when he got misprinted emmet he placed in an empty apartment and forgot he was there, since this was probably before he brought storage bins for spare pieces. So emmet just hides away in his apartment in the lego world (universe, idk what to call the different realities honestly) cause he knows he's different from everybody else.
Emmets whole error is while his torso and legs pieces are correct his head and hands aren't. Most of him is an odd grey/yellow colour (some parts of him more grey, some parts more yellow)
I'm probably going to name it greyscale or misprint.
I had different ideas for the characters and the whole thing so I might post more about that later .

Apartment Disaster
Hello, me again, here for Day 9 - Meet Ugly. I know it's Day 16 right now, but this idea popped up in my head the other day and wouldn't leave me alone, so I apologise for being a pain lol.
@rowaelinscourt
cw: a smidgen of angst and mentions of death.
sorry for any grammar errors as always lol.
word count: 1100+
hope you all enjoy and have a great day xx
Aelin was in the elevator with the movers for the fourth time when she happened to come across a tall, muscled, tattooed, silver haired man in her new apartment.
She was exhausted from the move that wasn't entirely finished yet, but all her tiredness disappeared at the sight of the stranger.
Because not only was he standing in the middle of her new home; surrounding him were unopened boxes, a rolling suitcase and a large duffle bag strapped across his broad body.
“Who are you, and what are you doing in my apartment?” Aelin asked, caution but annoyance lacing her tone.
The stranger turned around—and Mala burn her, if he wasn't the most attractive man she had ever seen if it wasn't for the anger clouding his pine green eyes.
“My name is Rowan,” he said, his accent lovely and rich, despite the aggression rolling from it. “And this is my apartment. So who the hell are you?”
Aelin straightened at his tone, at the anger in his eyes. And she was confused as hell. “My name is Aelin, and you must be wrong, because this is my apartment. You have the wrong place.” It was a new complex, the building had only been completed a couple of months ago, and when she had taken her new job in Varese, she had been told to make her apartment selection quickly as they were all selling fast.
“I don't think so,” Rowan said—whoever the hell this Rowan person was. He dropped the box in his arms, rifled through his duffle bag and shoved a copied version of his lease. Aelin's eyes dropped down to the most important part, the section that said that Rowan Whitethorn was leasing apartment 4A—her apartment—for three years. The address was correct, the number of rooms (two, and one bathroom) with a balcony, was correct.
Aelin looked it over again and again, looked over her own lease copy and still found no error in writing.
What in the actual hell was happening? There was no way she was giving up this apartment, and the look on Rowan Whitethorn's face said the exact same thing.
She wanted to punch him in his stupid face.
And she wanted to punch the movers in their faces when they finally piped up and asked if they were going to complete their job or just stand around all day.
Aelin told them that they could go on their breaks and all but dragged Rowan and their leases down to the manager's office.
Aelin truly couldn't believe it. There was an error, but not of her or Rowan's making. They were renting the same apartment because of an error. Rowan was meant to take apartment 4B, not 4A, but somewhere along the line, without anyone noticing, the office had leased the same apartment to two complete strangers.
What made it worse was that apartment 4B was already occupied—all of the apartments in the complex were occupied. There were no availabilities left in the entire city, either, and while Aelin absolutely hated the idea of doing it, she couldn't force Rowan on the streets when the office had made the mistake.
So Aelin was going to live with a stranger.
A stranger that didn't look pleased about that fact—but at least he had gotten their rent reduced due to offices colossal fuck up.
And he had gotten them to lower the cost on the apartment storage where right now, most of their things were sitting in, due to the fact that there wasn't enough room for all of their possessions.
In the middle of the living room, Aelin looked at Rowan, and Rowan looked at Aelin.
She couldn't believe she was about to live with a stranger.
“I know self-defence, and my great-uncle is a lawyer, so if you try anything, I will not hesitate to fuck you up,” Aelin said eventually.
Rowan just crossed his arms. “And if you try anything against me, I'll let my great-aunt, Maeve Whitethorn, know all about it.”
Aelin couldn't believe it, Maeve Whitethorn, the governor of Doranelle, was his aunt.
“Why can't you live with her?”
Rowan rolled his eyes. “Because my job is in Varese, obviously, which is why I'm here.”
Silence wrapped around them, and they kept staring at one another.
“What is your job?” Aelin asked eventually.
“Dietitian. Yours?”
Oh, that was great. He'd probably pick apart everything she was going to eat in the time they lived together—which was going to be until an apartment was vacant in the complex. The minute she would take a bite of a chocolate bar he would be all over her, telling her how bad it was.
“Editor in publishing. I'm in a hybrid role, too, so some days I'll be working from home.”
Rowan nodded. “Age?”
“Twenty-seven.”
“Thirty-one. Any partners?”
“No. Do you have any dietary restrictions? Because I don't like fish. Can't stand the smell of it.”
“I don't have a partner, either,” he said. “And as for the fish, I do eat it often, but I'll cook it on the balcony with the portable barbeque that I have.”
“Thank you,” she said, and once more, silence found them.
Aelin didn't feel like standing around all day, getting to know her new house mate, but she was exhausted, the effects of today starting to get to her. Right now, all she wanted to do was to have a shower, order some take away and lie down in her bed.
“Let's just get one thing straight,” Aelin started, “I'm not a maid, so I'm not going to clean up after you. You make a mess, you clean it. When you use the toilet, aim correctly and if you get any piss on the floor, you clean it and you put the toilet seat down. And I'm not going to hide my pads and tampons, so if you have an issue with that, I suggest you grow up and get over it.”
“I'm not a child,” Rowan said, affronted.
“You would be surprised how many men your age act like one.”
Rowan snorted, and she supposed that he was his own way of agreeing. “I'm going to get some of my things out of storage.” He turned around and left without another word and Aelin was left alone in the middle of her new apartment, in a new city, starting a new life.
She had wanted a fresh start after the death of her parents last year, but it seemed that she couldn't have a drama free life if this is what happened to her.
Aelin finally left the living room and had her shower.
Rowan pretended that he couldn't hear her crying as he brought his items up from storage.
All he wanted was a fresh start after the death of his wife and unborn child, but he supposed that this was the gods way of punishing him as he wasn't there with Lyria when she died.
Rowan sighed, and dragged his boxed mattress and bed into his room, doing his best to get used to his new reality.
But telling himself to get used to it was a lot easier said than done.
Rowan sighed again, and got to work.

i imagine nathalie had backups of those videos from emilie. but imagining if she couldn't get them to play... if she grabbed the phone and with shaky hands pressed the play button and it lagged, it skipped, an error came up, all the storage was used, when did the account get merged with the cloud?, the phone randomly shuts off, the charger is old and has exposed wires where her fingers gently cradle the neck of the usb-c connector... hm

Donald Duck and The Whale Race (1956)

Oooh, boy...this one.
"Paperino e la corsa del baleno" is another early story written by Guido Martina, which means it has that insanely weird and mean-spirited quality to it. Only now, it has blackface in it....goody. the one good thing is that we once again have the talented Giovan Battista Carpi doing the artwork, as his early duck layouts are both beautifully solid and also funny considering half the time, Donald ends up having Daffy Duck's beak lol.
So, a common trend you're notice with alot of these early Italian stories is how a character will randomly change their mood depending on the story. One story Donald is happily going about his life, and on the next story, he's completely ready to beat the nephews with wires. I say this, because this is not of Uncle Scrooge's nicest appearances.
He's an ASSHOLE to literally everybody. He drags the four ducks on an overly long trip out at sea and has no plans on telling them what exactly he's doing. Then, when Donald, understandably, tells him off, Scrooge desserts him for "being part of a mutiny", then throws the kids along with it for NO REASON. Just because Donald's mad at you donest mean you need to drag the kids along with you. Then, after he gets his dumbass caught by head-hunters, he automatically wants Donald to get killed so he can be let go...for no reason. Then, after Donald saves his life by shooting rocks at them, it turns out THOSE are what Scrooge wanted in the first, and now is completely ungrateful of Donald, which wouldn't of happened if he TOLD him what he was looking for. Asshole!
I did like the joke that the chief went to Yale for surgery ngl. I'm sorry 😅
Special thanks to the Guido Martina Facebook account for these crisp scans. Btw, sorry for one or two small grammatical errors. Krita was acting like a bitch when typing these.
When you open it on Terabox, if downloading it doesn't work, the best option is to press "save to terabox" if you have an account there. it's free ^^

Biometric Attendance Management System | Only 1 SGD Per Month
A Biometric Attendance Management System is a modern, secure, and highly efficient method for tracking employee attendance using biometric data such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or iris scans. Unlike traditional attendance systems that rely on manual entries or swipe cards, a Biometric Attendance Management System ensures accuracy, eliminates time theft, and prevents proxy attendance. Businesses of all sizes, from small startups to large corporations, are now shifting towards biometric solutions to maintain transparency and improve workforce management.
One of the most attractive offerings in the market today is the Biometric Attendance Management System | Only 1 SGD Per Month plan. This cost-effective solution makes advanced attendance tracking accessible to businesses with limited budgets, especially in competitive markets like Singapore. At just 1 SGD monthly, companies can enjoy premium biometric services without compromising on quality. It includes features like real-time attendance tracking, automated reports, integration with payroll, and secure cloud-based data storage.
Implementing a Biometric Attendance Management System significantly reduces administrative workload. HR teams no longer need to manually check timesheets or address attendance discrepancies. The system automatically records accurate timestamps every time an employee checks in or out. This not only improves operational efficiency but also boosts employee accountability and punctuality. With biometric authentication, the risk of buddy punching or attendance fraud is virtually eliminated.
Additionally, opting for a Biometric Attendance Management System | Only 1 SGD Per Month ensures businesses remain compliant with labor laws and company policies by maintaining accurate and tamper-proof attendance records. These records can be easily accessed for audits, employee evaluations, and payroll calculations, ensuring smooth administrative operations. The affordable pricing makes it a valuable investment, providing a high return through increased productivity and reduced payroll errors.
In conclusion, integrating a Biometric Attendance Management System into your business operations is a smart, future-ready decision. With an affordable plan of Only 1 SGD Per Month, companies can benefit from precise attendance management, enhanced security, and seamless integration with existing HR systems. This modern solution not only streamlines workforce management but also fosters a culture of discipline and reliability in the workplace.

Tines of the Devil's Fork
Storm-veiled stars, frozen city ruins, knives in the sky. Railgun finished early, Uzi hunts.
here's something short and experimental. what if uzi repaired her railgun with Something Else?
i'd appreciate kudos and comments, but this is short enough i can put it all here on tumblr
i.
Stars, the few times Uzi saw them, shined all sorts of colors. Blue, yellow, red. Beneath the streetlamps, acid-tinged snow-flakes glittered, bright and scattered the same way, but they were only white. Crap replacement.
Uzi keeps eyes on the sky; she was savvy, knew to stay on-guard. Two scavengers chit-chat beside her, eyes on facial animations instead. But they listened as she’d ranted railgun electromagnetics and anime choreography. Seemed interested. She thought of Doll, back when they were sleepover-sisters. Crap replacement.
No time for angst, just action. Uzi holds her railgun, and thinks of Khan.
ii.
Shadows scowl and loom. Spooky streets. Uzi knew spooky all her life. In Doll’s sleepovers they played dare-games in closet darkness. Rumors said if you shut out all light, you sometimes felt watched. Doll did every time. Uzi too.
Dark is nice, sharpens senses. Uzi’d thought her railgun needed a glowing green spare part. A macguffin. Then she brought a copper-wrapped tuning fork to a room with no lights. Completion sung to her, and the railgun felt done.
Just needs a target.
Till then, it’s scavenging.
An apartment block stands, no lights powered, but copper’s in the walls.
iii.
Crack. Quin sledghammers wall-plaster. Pipes burst, water gushing out. Cracking piñatas, copper wire candy.
Streetlamps flicker outside. The wind stops, choked breath. Transformer fails — whole block in overcast night. One lamp left, shines a vigil.
Knife-whisper. When you see yellow, he’s already dead.
Neck cut, life gushing out. Cracking piñatas like color-inverted eggs. Quin-candy.
No angst, just action.
Anime choreography. Duck under wing-sweep, copper wire lasso, gotcha.
Acid burbles — vocalsynth fries — name’s Marina.
The railgun sings. Point-blank. Core bursts, scream-roars, blood gushing out. Street’s lit anew, green light like lightning.
Still no wind.
iv.
Uzi is cold-hot. Alone like a glacier. Angry like a simmering volcano.
Fatal Error beneath bowl-cut and pinstripe suit.
Fatal Error beneath blue-dyed fringe and crop-top.
Plug a wire, mount file storage like an external hard-drive, Uzi is looking for momentos, funeral fodder or catharsis to carry back. Searching just makes her feel hot.
She looks to the victory-defeat.
Materal Collection: initialization failed, retrying... beneath afro and sweater vest.
They don’t even die like us.
Kick and smash and kick and smash and it’s action but it’s nothing.
She’s smaller even when it’s dead.
v.
Digging through murder drone carcass, those bones and sacs, you still find electronics. Like a radio — buzzing.
Wind again, ice scratching her cheek. Electromagnetic humming — on-edge. Above glittering snowfall, that yellow glint. X marks your death.
Frickin’ cooldowns! No railgun. Detatched murder-claw? Crap replacement.
Cloud-crash, snow debris. No pouncing? Idiot ball?
“Yeesh. R got cooked by a toaster?” Wary, circling.
Shotgun-barrel jabs. “You reckon it bears the devil’s fork?” Still, focused.
“Hate seein’ a fork stuck in a toaster.”
Uzi blurts, “That’s right. My corpse-meal!”
Wary, focused – then blink. Quick as death, gone as wind.
vi.
Uzi’s frame rattled. Like digital adrenaline. Robot hormones.
Murder drones fled. She bluffed, they believed. She looked back, met eye with red error.
Better act the part, could be watching.
You wanted to carry back part of them. You wanted catharsis.
Murder drones probably don’t even taste like us. Right?
Intrusive thoughts didn’t make sense.
Uzi felt cold-hot. Ice makes stones crack. Electric voltage fries circuits. Uzi felt broken-growing. Hormones.
That was just angst. This is action. Hands cupped, plastic goblet for king’s wine. Queen’s royal jelly.
Railgun whines red overheat. Cool hands cradle it. She walks away.
vii.
Snow crested Uzi’s beanie, above icicle-feathers like an inverse crown. Her rime is undisturbed. Winds went still; clouds ran dry of false stars.
Digging through her bat-wing backback, you find extraneous electronics. MP3 player. Nightcore? Anime OPs? Not hitting. Corrupted file, howling static. That’s it.
Uzi groans loud in night, frame rattling. No one to talk to. Angst-abyss. She’s melting glaciers, she’s dormant volcanos.
Her feet crack like sledgehammers against ice-slick roads.
She’s remembering two smiling scavengers she’d left Outpost-3 with. Then thinking of Doll. Thinking of Khan.
Of her mother.
Her railgun cooled quiet.
viii.
The world’s different outside of Outpost-3. A different key, her core beating new tempos, orchestral remix.
Uzi knows how. Khan read door blueprints like bedtime stories. Never explained why Door Two, just what it was: a faraday cage. Canceling that fundamental noise of the light and iron: electromagnetism.
Murder drones use it to hunt: communication, triangulation, disruption.
Uzi runs a finger down the railgun’s barrel. Guess I use it to hunt, too.
In that dark room, watched and sung to, Uzi felt completion and it attracted her.
If she’d felt repulsed? Now she understands why.
Time to change keys.
ix.
Stars, the few times Uzi saw them, had four points. That’s how Light diffracted through lenses; squishy human eyes saw differently. They’re all messed up.
What do stars look like to murder drones? They don’t even die like us. Probably don’t see like us either.
That carcass was squishy inside. Muscles in place of servos. Crap replacement.
Last bridge back home is perilously slick. Last gust of wind tugs her hoodie. And she slips. Last moment, she ledge-grabs — with both hands.
Railgun tumbling down. One hand holding secure, the other’s thrown to reach out in a futile, dramatic gesture.
x.
Three prongs of purple code erupt in miracle-glow between splayed fingers.
It’s mirrored ten meters abyssward, cradling the fruit of months brainstorming, months tinkering, months hoping. The railgun that sung to her (in the same tonality murder drones hummed.)
Her replacement for — what?
It rises like snow never could. When it’s inches away, she stares at the symbol.
The devil’s fork.
Did she hate seeing it? Stepping off the bridge, her electricity hummed in the gun she cradled. She sees Door Three, and a rift high above.
Stars still shine, yellow and blue-red — three-pointed and ever-shifting.

🌸Cosmos🌸 -symbolizes order, peace, modesty and harmony (I'm sorry for this (^人^) but not really )
Iron Heart (Tony) and Webspinner (Peter) joining the mane six making them instead the mane eight as the elements of Protection and Compassion
Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of… honesty! Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of… kindness! Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of… laughter! Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift represents the spirit of… generosity! And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire represents the spirit of… loyalty! Iron Heart, who put himself in-between us and danger represents the spirit of… protection! Webspinner who helped keep us calm and safe as we travelled the forest represents the spirit of… compassion!
The spirits of these seven ponies got us through every challenge you threw at us
You still don't have the sixth Element! The spark didn't work! But it did! A different kind of spark. I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all... are my friends! You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the... the spark that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the eighth element: the element of... magic!
Pony Tony and Peter made here while their cutie marks were added later. Full pics alongside rambles below
I don't think much would change early in the show and haven't really thought this au through season by season. So other than extra episodes devoted the pining between these two and others trying desperately to get them together it could in any direction. What I have definitely thought of though is that Canterlot Wedding would change significantly as the gang would realize something is wrong with Cadence. Because as soon as Twilight tells them she's the Alicorn of love and they see Crysalis as Cadence doing nothing to get these two idiots together the mane 6 would immediately be on guard. It would be unfathomable to them she wouldn't start locking the two in closets together and other such antics if she really was the Alicorn of love. And so those episodes would certainly change as maybe even Celestia was eagerly anticipating Cadence sorting the two out and finds it odd (She would have read all about the pair's pining from Twilights letters they were practically her favourite soap opera at that point)
If anybody has any other ideas for story changes please tell me them
Iron Heart (Tony) would have gotten his cutie mark when the sonic rainboom shone through the window behind him and showed him gave him where the coding errors in his first magic based ai (DUM-E) were. I imagine Tony would focus on building things that help others straight up as there doesn't really seem a need in Equestria for weapons and that here the arc reactor is a magical storage device that allows for Earth and Pegasus ponies to 'cast' magic or use magic powered tools that work like spells do for Unicorns. He would I like to think also be a favoured source of guard armour for Celestia due to his skill so he could also act as a guide for Twilight around Ponyville due to the two of them maybe already having met and being sort of friends. This allows him to help her to get settled in the early episodes. Such as advising Twilight to act as the organiser in Winter Wrap-Up from the start. The reason he lives in such a small town as opposed to Canterlot or Manehatten has absolutely no relation to his crush Peter and is only because he likes the nature of the town, honest.
Webspinner (Peter) gained his from helping some of his childhood (colthood sorry couldn't resist) friends from falling by catching them by making a cloud that stops them falling. Not extra ordinary on its own but considering they weren't Pegasus ponies it was extremely unique and shows his talent at cloud making as well as his core being about looking after others. This would relate to the rainboom as the rainboom would have been what shocked the other ponies and caused them to fall while also illuminating the perfect cloud for Peter to use his pegesus magic to altee the clouds structures. I kinda imagined Peter's role in Ponyville would be similar to how he acts in the mcu and other timeline, helping ponies out who need help and stopping others from harming anypony, but on a more official level. A possible episode he could have a major part in changing is Lesson Zero maybe by realising early on what's going on with Twilight and manages to get her to deal with the problem before casting an unsafe spell on other ponies.
#if anyone has better ideas of what their elements of harmony are i'm more than happy to hear them#starker#cosmos meaning#my little pony au#pony tony#pony peter#elements of harmony au#i decided on protection for tony because of both his armour and the whole put a suit of armour around the world#peter was more difficult but i chose compassion due to him being the friendly neighbourhood spider-man#being kind and comforting people he rescues and helps would be a priority and as kindness was already taken i chose compassion#i also considered courage but felt this was to much like protection and could also overlap with loyalty and rainbow dash#moodboard#my moodboard

Still Subject to Change Chapter 4 (NEW)
——————————————————————————-
Hello everyone! i decided to repost arc 1 of SSTC
(the chapters were way too long and had a bunch of typos but hopefully this will make reading easier)
this Story contains Vore, Dont like dont read.
if there are still any grammatical errors i’m sorry.
——————————————————————————

Waking up it took me a few seconds to remember what had transpired yesterday until I felt a slight movement within my Storage Organ.
I decided to just call it a Pouch from now on as I had linked it to a coin pouch the previous night to make it better understandable for the small Rusthead.
I still felt bad about what I had done yesterday, and lying on the cold hard ground all night didn't help that.
At least the snow had mostly melted and it was warm again now that the sun was up.
Getting up very slowly and carefully to not disturb the sleeping form in my Pouch, I debated if i should wake him up or let him sleep.
On one hand waking him up meant he could get out like I had promised yesterday.
On the other hand if I woke him up he might get another panic attack should he take too long to actually remember what happened.
In the end I decided to try and wake him as gently as possible by softly poking at him through the flesh of my Pouch.
I felt him roll over and mumbled something along the lines of.
“Ten more minutes it's comfy”
He resumed back to a curled up position seemingly not disturbed much.
While I was touched that he wanted to stay, I knew he was not really awake enough to actually know where he was at the moment.
That, and no being that was by their right senses would willingly stay inside of another, bigger creature.
So I attempted again to wake him only to get the same result, and a third time had him cover his ears with his arms while sleeping, well at least it felt like he did that.
So I decided to let him be for now and continued along the river towards Wyrmhurst mountain after picking up the items I had chucked aside yesterday.
Walking in silence suddenly felt weird now that I had apparently become used to Robin's blabbering in the short time he was stuck with me.
But after some time I felt Robin move again and I stopped dead in my tracks waiting if he would flip out again.
I prayed he wouldn't.
“nrmm wha- oh OH uh Donovan?”
Not sure if he was about to panic, I rushed to reassure him.
“Hey good morning! Are you okay? Do you remember what happened yesterday?”
“I'm fine, what time is it? Is it morning? Is it still cold?”
Looking around and watching if my breaths still made little clouds, I saw that only some snow was left in the more shadowy areas and my breath did not make any clouds anymore.
“it's warmer now so if you want out you can, we are right next to the river so you can wash too”
I waited for his response, and a small part of me secretly hoped that he wanted to stay, as his little movements sent a thrill through my nervous system but I shoved those thoughts away again.
If he wanted out I would let him out.
“uh okay i'd like to come out, but like how? I mean how do you plan to get me out?”
I was glad he did not freak out so spitting him up should be easy.
“i'm gonna spit you up, just stay still, take a breath and relax you'll be out in a minute”
Preparing to chuck him up I tensed my muscles and started pushing up from the bottom of the pouch to shove him up as I had done countless times with various valuables.
Just this time it was a living thinking being.
I decided not to think about it too hard.
I was thankful that he had heeded my advice on staying still, as I would have probably choked on the large form traveling up my esophagus.
Feeling him at the back of my throat I reached in with two fingers to pluck his slightly slimy form out.
Dangling in front of me by the back of his tunic was the bedraggled looking Robin, he was shielding his eyes tucking his legs up again and for a moment i thought he was afraid again until he murmured
“Why's it so bright? I don't like it”
Ah so he was just avoiding the sunlight and not cowering in fear, that was a relief.
“That's the sun, just like everyday, you wanna wash up now?”
“I'm starting to hate everything yellow but yeah i'd like to get-”
He gestured at the thin layer of slime coating him
“-this of off me”
Setting him next to the river I let him slowly climb in clothes and all while keeping an eye on him, as I was not sure how well he could swim and I'd rather not have him drown.
Crouching next to the river bank I kept on the lookout for anything that could be dangerous.
Putting his items on the ground and hearing him complain how freezing cold the water was, I unbound my Handkerchief from my wrist and held it in my hands to warm it up a bit.
Looking at Robin who had just climbed out of the river dripping with water and shivering from the cold, I offered the cloth I had kept warm in my hands.
He gratefully took it and wrapped himself into it like a caterpillar.
“T-thanks this i-is re-really c-cold”
He was chattering with his teeth and looking like a miserable kitten.
“You uh you want your items?”
I gestured awkwardly to his stuff lying on the floor.
The smaller man looked at them for a moment then back at me.
“I think if I took them now they'd just get wet. Can you carry them?”
I gently pocketed his armor and boots at his request and offered my hand for him to climb on.
He just looked at me blankly for a few seconds before he got it and awkwardly scrambled into my palm, the Blanket hindering his movement a bit.
Standing up again with the cold form of Robin carefully cupped in my Hand i picked up walking along the river but something was nagging me still.
“Robin?”
I spoke softly, making him look up at me.
“About yesterday…”
“no negative feelings, but i really didn't mean to bite you i spaced out again it was an accident”
While I was glad there were no hard feelings, I still had a question.
“How do you bite someone on accident?”
He moved awkwardly under the blanket and seemed to think for a few seconds while trying to disappear into the cloth completely.
“Well i was asleep and i dunno what i was dreaming but the others said i sometimes start chewing stuff, i used to chew on everything as a bad habit but i stopped when i joined the Guards school”
“I have actually bitten Arthur before, i think he still has the teeth marks on his elbow i'm just glad he didn’t rat me out about my age to the headmasters”
So biting just about everything was a bad habit of his and he’d even bitten some of his friends.
But the added bit of not getting snitched on about his age made me pause.
I knew one had to be eighteen like I was to join the training so it made me wonder how old he actually was.
“Wait a second, how old are you? You have to be eighteen to join the guards”
He suddenly went very still.
“Well uhm well im -im sixteen”
Knowing this it made sense as to why he was smaller than most of the guards I had ever seen.
He wasn't even an adult, now it made sense why he was so scrawny.
“You mean you're younger than me? And how did you manage to convince the headmasters?”
He seemed to debate with himself for a moment before filling his lungs and spewing out something barely comprehensible.
“Well i when i was thrown out by my alcoholic Dad i ended up running into Arthur, and we both somehow ended up stopping a thief so the headmasters let us join but only if we both were old enough so i lied”
He looked at me like i was going to judge him for it, Which frankly I couldn't really as I knew the streets were not a friendly place to be, so taking that over sleeping in an alley really was the better option.
“I'll make you a deal you don't tell anyone about my doubled organs and I won't rat you out about your age, seems fair?”
He grinned at me and nodded, suddenly a lot happier.
“Sure! No idea who i could tell anyway besides the boys in my group and i don't think anyone would believe me”
Boys? Plural? So not just the blonde guy? I decided to not bring it up.
Instead I worried what would happen if someone found out about what had happened yesterday.
“Also maybe don't tell anyone what i did yesterday, you know what i mean, they would kill me immediately”
I hoped he wouldn't ever tell anyone that I literally…ate…him as i really didn't want to deal with a manhunt for me, The other humans probably wouldn't listen past ‘ate him’ and just set out to kill me with whatever weapons they had to get rid of the ‘Monster’.
“You mean the part where you ate me? I guess that would sound bad”
At least Robin agreed on this with me even if speaking it out loud was still pretty awkward, And probably always would be.
Robin was still wrapped in the Handkerchief that he turned into a blanket and slowly drying while fiddling with the cloth.
“Hey Donovan? What other plants are like, not gonna kill me when I bite them?”
I was a bit surprised at the question but figured I could indulge him a bit.
I kinda did owe him after what had happened.
“Oh, well that depends on season but there are quite a lot of edible ones like the dandelions and daisies we had but there are a lot more, you want me to tell you about them?”
At his enthusiastic nodding I ended up telling him all I knew over the course of the day, and we tested everything we could find too, like wild rhubarb and some fiddlehead ferns which Robin laughed at for their weird name but ended up liking it best next to the rhubarb.
At some point it had started to get dark again and we looked for a suitable place for a camp which ended up being under a dead tree that had grown on a boulder that was easily three times my height.
I thought that despite all it was kinda cool looking rock formation.
I curled up beneath the slight overhang and this time i did not tie Robin up, instead i left the rope in my pocket and took out the slightly crumpled Boar Pelt for him to use as a mattress as he was sort of trapped in the divot the boulder made anyway i did not see any reason to tie him up tonight.
Wrapping himself in the blanket he snuggled down into the pelt and started fiddling with whatever was in his hands now and just staring at the stone overhead with a blank expression.
I was pretty sure that he had spaced out again so I just left him for now as I did not see any reason to do something about this.
But I did get slightly worried when I saw that he had not blinked in a while so I carefully nudged him with a finger.
He just rolled over and put the blanket over his head.
He'd fallen asleep with his eyes open huh…
Well that was not something i've seen before but i'd definitely heard about it.
I debated if I should try to close his eyes for him but my fingers were too big and I did not want to damage someone's face.
Leaving it be I simply took it as my clue to fall asleep myself, so after making sure there were no threats I allowed myself to be taken by slumber.
I awoke in the middle of the night to Robin basically trying to burrow under me and even attempting to crawl under my neck.
Confused, I looked around and saw that it was Snowing again which was weird considering it was supposed to be spring but apparently not.
Wait a second if it's snowing then that means it's cold again so Robin must be freezing!
While I still had no idea why the temperature didn't affect me it sure did to the smaller boy, so shifting a bit i put my arms up to where he was trying to bury himself under me.
“I thought i said to tell me when you're cold”
I mumbled sleepily and moved to a better position while grabbing the boar pelt that was left on the floor and dragged it closer to me.
Shifting to lay on my side again I put robin next to my neck and basically threw the pelt onto him while also cupping my hands around him to create a sort of warm ‘bubble’ for him.
“Thank you”
I heard a sleepy murmur as he cozied up against my neck and went back to dreaming about whatever.
Having him so close to my neck made my mind snap back to when he literally was inside of it, sliding down towards what he thought was his doom.
It made me feel bad all over again but I was glad he really didn't seem to have any negative feelings about it anymore.
He was a weird little guy for sure.
It did baffle me however that he had managed to brush it off so quickly, I did terrify him thoroughly after all but he acted rather normal?
Robin was a weird Human, but i didn't think he was a bad one, He reminded me of a lost dog at times and I hoped that never something bad would happen to him.
It was weird, caring about something other than myself for the first time in years and I didn't know what to make of it.
I also realized that as soon as the week was up in a few days I would be all alone again.
While being on my own was not something new, this time I actually dreaded the part where I would try to get by, but now in silence and just nobody to talk back to me.
I decided to shove the thought away and just go back to sleep, I would not deal with this while tired.
Making sure that Robin would stay warm I joined him in slumber.
Only to be woken up what felt like seconds after the next morning by something shoving at my cheek.
Turning my head and trying to avoid getting up I put my face into the ground even if it squished my nose a bit.
“Donovan? Get up, you're trapping the entrance!”
Hearing Robin call out to me and try to shove at my face again i finally sat up
“Is it day already?”
Peering out from under the overhang I saw that some snow was still lying on the ground and a slight breeze was blowing.
Looking down at Robin I saw that he had used the boar pelt as a sort of cape to keep warm.
“Yes its day! and luckily warmer now but i have no idea how you can stand the cold”
He seemed to be in better spirits than yesterday which i was relieved to find, but he did have a point in the cold thing
“I dunno i guess i'm just used to sleeping outside in the streets might be that”
I yawned and slowly stood up fully from my sitting position and offered my hand for him to climb on while plucking my handkerchief from the ground.
Cupping Robin to my chest again I walked over the thin layer of crunchy snow, away from the boulder with a dead tree on top, once again aiming for the mountains.
“How far away do you think it is now?”
I had the same question as it seemed that despite walking a lot everyday it still seemed far away and today was day six of Robin tagging along.
So I had to send him off to go back tomorrow.
I realized with a pang that I would be all alone again and, weirdly enough, the thought hurt.
Tomorrow I had to send the only person that had ever been nice to me away forever and I would be a complete loner again.
But this time it was a lot worse as I now knew what it was like to be able to actually talk to someone.
I once again shoved such thoughts down to where I did not have to think about them.
I instead answered Robin's question to distract myself a bit.
“I have no idea, i don't know how big the mountain is supposed to be either”
“Really weird, maybe it's some magic stuff?”
He did have a point as the mountain was said to be hexed so maybe i should choose a different place to go to.
“Well that might be true but i can tell you i have had enough magic fuckery for a lifetime”
I waved the cursed bracelet in front of him.
We ended up talking about where to go instead for a few hours and watched the snow melt as I walked over it until midday.
In the end I still had no idea if any other places existed that I could go to so I decided to backtrack a bit away from the river closer to Kamerasca again.
I knew tomorrow Robin would leave to go home and I thought getting him a bit closer would shorten the journey for him at least a little.
After another hour we came to an area with less trees and I took the opportunity to reorient myself.
As I was looking around I suddenly got stabbed by something sharp at the back of my neck, like someone had thrown a knife at me.
Plucking it out I saw that it was a wide Bolt with a metal tip that seemed to be coated in something aside from my own blood.
Through a slowly fogging up mind I recognized it as the tranquilizer bolts the Kamerasca Guards used for the manticores.
So using what was left of my coherence I put Robin in the tree next to me to avoid falling on top of him.
Just as i toppled over i saw two other human figures run to my position, Both of which carried swords and one also had the crossbow I was shot with.
Seeing black spots on the edge of my vision and losing the ability to move my last coherent thoughts were that this was how I was going to die.
Alone, with literal poison running through my veins and some Guards slashing open my throat for crimes I never committed just because I was a Fae Bastard.
My vision going completely black the last thing i heard were shrill shrieks coming from above me, something along the lines of ‘wait’ and ‘stop’ but i did not hear the rest as i finally lost all of my consciousness and everything went dark.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having gone to a drug induced sleep fully expecting to die, It was quite a surprise to wake up again even if it was slowly and I still couldn't move very well.
Opening my eyes and trying to figure out what the fuck happened i saw Robin arguing with two other people, one i recognized as the Blonde that had also followed me into the woods and one with even darker hair that stood a bit taller than the other two.
Lying there I tried to figure out what they were saying but it couldn't quite hear it from this distance and the after effect of the tranquiliser in my veins made a rushing noise in my ears.
However it seems my shuffling around was heard by at least one of them as the darker haired guy swiveled his head around to look at me with icy gray eyes.
Those eyes were kinda unnerving, but I really couldn't do anything at the moment except try to move an arm or a leg.
The dark haired one tapped Robin's arm who had been speaking animatedly to him till now and pointed to me while going in my direction, motioning for the blonde to stay behind.
If i remembered correctly the Blondes name was Arthur.
But I had no idea who the dark haired one was, as Robin had never Mentioned anyone else besides Arthur.
Oh wait he did say that there were Boys in his group, plural so i could guess why there was one more of them.
Stopping a short distance away from my face I glared at the dark hired individual as I saw that he was the one with the crossbow and consequently must have been the one that shot me.
He turned to face Robin.
“And you're absolutely sure of what you told me?”
Robin made a sour face and responded loudly like he'd been saying the same thing over and over again.
“YES for the last time he's an okay guy I promise!”
Oh… so the reason I wasn't dead yet was because Robin put in a good word for me, I stopped glaring and instead just looked at both of them, occasionally glancing at Arthur.
The taller of them turned again to face me with his eerie gray eyes.
“Robin has told me that you are not a Monster despite what Arthur had said to me”
I felt like there was a but coming and for a second i worried that Robin did tell them about me eating him.
“But I like to make sure of things myself so for now i'd like to just talk as civilized beings if you are willing to cooperate?”
I was relieved that Robin had kept his word about not telling anyone and even more so that the new guy just wanted to talk for now even if my jaw was still a bit numb and had that awful pins and needles sensation.
“You have a weird way of talking but sure”
I mumbled out as best as I could as I got the anthill sensation in my lower jaw making me want to scratch my face on the ground as I still had problems moving my arms.
An excited shout of.
“Told you!”
Coming from Robin who poked the taller guy in the side loosened some of the tension in the air and I mused that the tall guy must be talking like this a lot.
The tall guy in question grinned slightly and patted Robin's head then turned back to me, introducing himself.
“My name is Rikaad Drayton, you already know Robin and the Blonde one making grimaces over there is Arthur”
Deciding to return the favor and at least try to be polite even if I did not know all the rules to that sort of stuff.
“My names Donovan Verney or more commonly called Bastard”
I replied to him still trying to lighten the mood, and judging by the face Robin made it at least succeeded in making someone laugh.
“I can see that”
Rikaad replied and motioned for my pointy ears.
“But i believe that you'd prefer to be called Donovan”
I nodded at him jerkily as the numbing effect of the dart slowly wore off and decided to complain about it.
“Also what the fuck was in that dart my entire body is having those pins and needles sensation and i hate it”
Rikaad seemed to think for a second before responding
“Well its made for manticore and the like not for….uh”
“Not for Bastards isn't exactly a new phrase to me”
I griped and tried to at least sit up as talking with my face pressed into the dirt was just stupid.
I pretended not to notice Rikaad going a bit paler as I finally managed to sit up.

Data warehousing solution
Unlocking the Power of Data Warehousing: A Key to Smarter Decision-Making
In today's data-driven world, businesses need to make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions. But how can companies achieve this? One powerful tool that plays a crucial role in managing vast amounts of data is data warehousing. In this blog, we’ll explore what data warehousing is, its benefits, and how it can help organizations make better business decisions.
What is Data Warehousing?
At its core, data warehousing refers to the process of collecting, storing, and managing large volumes of data from different sources in a central repository. The data warehouse serves as a consolidated platform where all organizational data—whether from internal systems, third-party applications, or external sources—can be stored, processed, and analyzed.
A data warehouse is designed to support query and analysis operations, making it easier to generate business intelligence (BI) reports, perform complex data analysis, and derive insights for better decision-making. Data warehouses are typically used for historical data analysis, as they store data from multiple time periods to identify trends, patterns, and changes over time.
Key Components of a Data Warehouse
To understand the full functionality of a data warehouse, it's helpful to know its primary components:
Data Sources: These are the various systems and platforms where data is generated, such as transactional databases, CRM systems, or external data feeds.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): This is the process by which data is extracted from different sources, transformed into a consistent format, and loaded into the warehouse.
Data Warehouse Storage: The central repository where cleaned, structured data is stored. This can be in the form of a relational database or a cloud-based storage system, depending on the organization’s needs.
OLAP (Online Analytical Processing): This allows for complex querying and analysis, enabling users to create multidimensional data models, perform ad-hoc queries, and generate reports.
BI Tools and Dashboards: These tools provide the interfaces that enable users to interact with the data warehouse, such as through reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Benefits of Data Warehousing
Improved Decision-Making: With data stored in a single, organized location, businesses can make decisions based on accurate, up-to-date, and complete information. Real-time analytics and reporting capabilities ensure that business leaders can take swift action.
Consolidation of Data: Instead of sifting through multiple databases or systems, employees can access all relevant data from one location. This eliminates redundancy and reduces the complexity of managing data from various departments or sources.
Historical Analysis: Data warehouses typically store historical data, making it possible to analyze long-term trends and patterns. This helps businesses understand customer behavior, market fluctuations, and performance over time.
Better Reporting: By using BI tools integrated with the data warehouse, businesses can generate accurate reports on key metrics. This is crucial for monitoring performance, tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and improving strategic planning.
Scalability: As businesses grow, so does the volume of data they collect. Data warehouses are designed to scale easily, handling increasing data loads without compromising performance.
Enhanced Data Quality: Through the ETL process, data is cleaned, transformed, and standardized. This means the data stored in the warehouse is of high quality—consistent, accurate, and free of errors.
Types of Data Warehouses
There are different types of data warehouses, depending on how they are set up and utilized:
Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW): An EDW is a central data repository for an entire organization, allowing access to data from all departments or business units.
Operational Data Store (ODS): This is a type of data warehouse that is used for storing real-time transactional data for short-term reporting. An ODS typically holds data that is updated frequently.
Data Mart: A data mart is a subset of a data warehouse focused on a specific department, business unit, or subject. For example, a marketing data mart might contain data relevant to marketing operations.
Cloud Data Warehouse: With the rise of cloud computing, cloud-based data warehouses like Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, and Snowflake have become increasingly popular. These platforms allow businesses to scale their data infrastructure without investing in physical hardware.
How Data Warehousing Drives Business Intelligence
The purpose of a data warehouse is not just to store data, but to enable businesses to extract valuable insights. By organizing and analyzing data, businesses can uncover trends, customer preferences, and operational inefficiencies. Some of the ways in which data warehousing supports business intelligence include:
Customer Segmentation: Companies can analyze data to segment customers based on behavior, demographics, or purchasing patterns, leading to better-targeted marketing efforts.
Predictive Analytics: By analyzing historical data, businesses can forecast trends and predict future outcomes, such as sales, inventory needs, and staffing levels.
Improved Operational Efficiency: With data-driven insights, businesses can streamline processes, optimize supply chains, and reduce costs. For example, identifying inventory shortages or surplus can help optimize stock levels.
Challenges in Data Warehousing
While the benefits of data warehousing are clear, there are some challenges to consider:
Complexity of Implementation: Setting up a data warehouse can be a complex and time-consuming process, requiring expertise in database management, ETL processes, and BI tools.
Data Integration: Integrating data from various sources with differing formats can be challenging, especially when dealing with legacy systems or unstructured data.
Cost: Building and maintaining a data warehouse can be expensive, particularly when managing large volumes of data. However, the investment is often worth it in terms of the business value generated.
Security: With the consolidation of sensitive data in one place, data security becomes critical. Organizations need robust security measures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
The Future of Data Warehousing
The world of data warehousing is constantly evolving. With advancements in cloud technology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, businesses are now able to handle larger datasets, perform more sophisticated analyses, and automate key processes.
As companies increasingly embrace the concept of a "data-driven culture," the need for powerful data warehousing solutions will continue to grow. The integration of AI-driven analytics, real-time data processing, and more intuitive BI tools will only further enhance the value of data warehouses in the years to come.
Conclusion
In today’s fast-paced, data-centric world, having access to accurate, high-quality data is crucial for making informed business decisions. A robust data warehousing solution enables businesses to consolidate, analyze, and extract valuable insights from their data, driving smarter decision-making across all departments. While building a data warehouse comes with challenges, the benefits—improved efficiency, better decision-making, and enhanced business intelligence—make it an essential tool for modern organizations.

Title: Data Warehousing: The Backbone of Data-Driven Decision Making
In today’s fast-paced business environment, the ability to make data-driven decisions quickly is paramount. However, to leverage data effectively, companies need more than just raw data. They need a centralized, structured system that allows them to store, manage, and analyze data seamlessly. This is where data warehousing comes into play.
Data warehousing has become the cornerstone of modern business intelligence (BI) systems, enabling organizations to unlock valuable insights from vast amounts of data. In this blog, we’ll explore what data warehousing is, why it’s important, and how it drives smarter decision-making.
What is Data Warehousing?
At its core, data warehousing refers to the process of collecting and storing data from various sources into a centralized system where it can be easily accessed and analyzed. Unlike traditional databases, which are optimized for transactional operations (i.e., data entry, updating), data warehouses are designed specifically for complex queries, reporting, and data analysis.
A data warehouse consolidates data from various sources—such as customer information systems, financial systems, and even external data feeds—into a single repository. The data is then structured and organized in a way that supports business intelligence (BI) tools, enabling organizations to generate reports, create dashboards, and gain actionable insights.
Key Components of a Data Warehouse
Data Sources: These are the different systems or applications that generate data. Examples include CRM systems, ERP systems, external APIs, and transactional databases.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): This is the process by which data is pulled from different sources (Extract), cleaned and converted into a usable format (Transform), and finally loaded into the data warehouse (Load).
Data Warehouse Storage: The actual repository where structured and organized data is stored. This could be in traditional relational databases or modern cloud-based storage platforms.
OLAP (Online Analytical Processing): OLAP tools enable users to run complex analytical queries on the data warehouse, creating reports, performing multidimensional analysis, and identifying trends.
Business Intelligence Tools: These tools are used to interact with the data warehouse, generate reports, visualize data, and help businesses make data-driven decisions.
Benefits of Data Warehousing
Improved Decision Making: By consolidating data into a single repository, decision-makers can access accurate, up-to-date information whenever they need it. This leads to more informed, faster decisions based on reliable data.
Data Consolidation: Instead of pulling data from multiple systems and trying to make sense of it, a data warehouse consolidates data from various sources into one place, eliminating the complexity of handling scattered information.
Historical Analysis: Data warehouses are typically designed to store large amounts of historical data. This allows businesses to analyze trends over time, providing valuable insights into long-term performance and market changes.
Increased Efficiency: With a data warehouse in place, organizations can automate their reporting and analytics processes. This means less time spent manually gathering data and more time focusing on analyzing it for actionable insights.
Better Reporting and Insights: By using data from a single, trusted source, businesses can produce consistent, accurate reports that reflect the true state of affairs. BI tools can transform raw data into meaningful visualizations, making it easier to understand complex trends.
Types of Data Warehouses
Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW): This is a centralized data warehouse that consolidates data across the entire organization. It’s used for comprehensive, organization-wide analysis and reporting.
Data Mart: A data mart is a subset of a data warehouse that focuses on specific business functions or departments. For example, a marketing data mart might contain only marketing-related data, making it easier for the marketing team to access relevant insights.
Operational Data Store (ODS): An ODS is a database that stores real-time data and is designed to support day-to-day operations. While a data warehouse is optimized for historical analysis, an ODS is used for operational reporting.
Cloud Data Warehouse: With the rise of cloud computing, cloud-based data warehouses like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake have become popular. These solutions offer scalable, cost-effective, and flexible alternatives to traditional on-premises data warehouses.
How Data Warehousing Supports Business Intelligence
A data warehouse acts as the foundation for business intelligence (BI) systems. BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView, connect directly to the data warehouse, enabling users to query the data and generate insightful reports and visualizations.
For example, an e-commerce company can use its data warehouse to analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and inventory performance. The insights gathered from this analysis can inform marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and inventory management decisions.
Here are some ways data warehousing drives BI and decision-making:
Customer Insights: By analyzing customer purchase patterns, organizations can better segment their audience and personalize marketing efforts.
Trend Analysis: Historical data allows companies to identify emerging trends, such as seasonal changes in demand or shifts in customer preferences.
Predictive Analytics: By leveraging machine learning models and historical data stored in the data warehouse, companies can forecast future trends, such as sales performance, product demand, and market behavior.
Operational Efficiency: A data warehouse can help identify inefficiencies in business operations, such as bottlenecks in supply chains or underperforming products.

A Volkswagen software subsidiary called Cariad experienced a massive data leak that left 800,000 EV owners exposed, according to reporting by the German publication Spiegel Netzwelt. The leak allowed personal information to be left online for months, including movement data and contact information.
This included precise location data for 460,000 vehicles made by VW, Seat and Audi. According to reports, the information was accessible via the Amazon cloud storage platform. There’s a silver lining here. Cariad says that, despite being available, no bad actors accessed the exposed data. The good-faith hacking association Chaos Computer Club (CCC) spotted the leak on November 26 and brought it to the company’s attention.
VW said in a statement reviewed by the German press agency DPA that the error has since been rectified, so that the information is no longer accessible. Additionally, the company noted that the leak only pertained to location and contact info, as passwords and payment data weren’t impacted. It added that only select vehicles registered for online services were initially at risk, stating that "the data was accessed in a very complex, multi-stage process."
