OC INTRODUCTION TIME YAY

her names Gloria and shes a evil scientist :3 (how creative) she's also very gay and autistic (like me 🔥🔥)

Her mom really had no intentions of having her, she was originally ment to be just a simple homunculus, used for testing the effects of new medicine and such, She was created in a lab by altering a parasite so it mimics the code of whatever it latches onto and finding a test subject for it to copy, the parasite was named "Glory" as it was made after thousands of failed attempts.

Her mom was the unlucky test subject Glory leeched onto, she had no say in what was being done to her, day by day, she was getting drained of everything she had,the only thing to ease her pain was to write the stuff she went through and recorded her experience living with Glory attached to her.

By the time Glory fully developed into a fully humanoid specimen, her mom was on the verge of death, And died a few hours after Glory had fully developed in the midst of recording a tape about how hollow she feels.

Glory was more developed than the scientists expected, so they used it to test genetics related stuff instead, during that time, Glory had started to form a identity for itself, it began calling itself "Gloria" after it saw a employee with that name and liked it.

During the tests, her features began to change, her eyes took on a more triangular shape and she deviated more and more from her mom's appearance until she looked like she wasn't even related to her.

After a while, Gloria developed a interest in science, it started to work as an apprentice when she was 16, aiming to "become the best scientist for the world to gaze upon"

Gloria grew up being raised by scientists, she never really questioned how she was "born" And where her parents were until she started to consume content from the outside world, she asked about it one day and didn't get much of an answer thanks to the staff being strict.

She decided to sneak out from her living quarters one day to find out stuff about her parents and where they are, she found the tapes and recordings after breaking into a storage room and found a box with the words "Specimen 1: Glory" written on it and took the stuff inside of it.

The staff noticed very quickly and took them back from her, hiding it somewhere else, she then found it again. The staff and Gloria entered a cycle of stealing things from each other until one specific scientist had enough of her and played the tapes right in front of her, traumatizing her for the rest of her life because hearing your mom refer to you as a "nuisance" or "wretched thing stealing her life" is probably not good for your mental health.

The scientist then had her read through her moms journal just to rub it in.

After learning that she was only part human and was the cause of her mom's death, her mental health took a hit, she refused to eat for days and cried for hours, considering taking her life as she couldn't live with the information she had to digest.

She was destroyed by the information she learned, the staff weren't that concerned with her until her problems started to interfere with the experiments.

The staff deemed her "unusable" and no longer "helpful" as she started to get even more stubborn about not coming out of her living chambers,deciding to get rid of her.

Unfortunately, their request for getting rid of it was declined, but they were hellbent on killing her to the point of delibirately lying to their bosses in order to get them to have Gloria get rid of, they all agreed to secretly push her off of a cliff and just claim she took her own life, one of the members off staff that Gloria particularly trusts was choosen to take her outside and do the job, And the staff member did their job.

Fortunately, Gloria survived the fall and ended up dragging herself to a small town where she got help, she decided to live there for a few years until she turned 19,she left to pursue college and get a degree. After that she moved to the city and got her degree after finishing college.

She was unfortunately broke by the time she was done with college so she got tangled in shady businesses and decided to open up a lab to "put her degree to use" but ended up becoming what she hated during the process, someone cruel.

She originally planned to use the lab to run "cruelty-free" experiments but the shady stuff she did followed her and she ended up using the lab to experiment on other people,specifically people that others wanted out of the picture.

She originally was less cruel with her experiments, using sedatives and doing her best to keep her subjects healthy, but over the years, She become less kind with her experiments as she started to realize there really is no ethical way to do her business.

She ended up actually being able to pay off her bills without getting her hands dirty, so she stopped getting into business she shouldn't, but there was a problem: where would she get subjects? Kidnapping people, thats how she would get her subjects.

She started to get a kick out of kidnapping people and experimenting on them. She found it fun and exciting to the point where she started to do it more and more often,enjoying documenting the results and recording them.

starting a new semester, boring courses, helping loved ones deal with grief, and those butterflies in your stomach

Today is the first day of the semester! We're either feeling super excited or burnt out. Let's do ourselves a favor and push those feelings aside, and truly take time to analyse what we did wrong, and what we wish to maintain during this new semester. I'll start:

Do's: listening to music and taking the time on the train to and from uni to unwind and listen to music or read. Have a detailed schedule and all the due dates and exam dates set on a board or piece of paper so you can have a broad view to what you have to work towards. Focuse on working with people that you have good chemistry with (refering to how you do your projects, how you work, etc.) instead of with close friends.

Don'ts: pasively reading your notes in hopes to retain something. Create pretty and elaborate notes if you're not going to have time to actually work with them because of the time you spent creating them. Push your daily tasks for the weekend because you think you're gonna have all the time in the work on them then.

Now let's fix my don'ts:

Pasively reading: use active recall! Quiz yourself, explain the topic to someone else (even if that someone else is your favorite plushie), use the blurting method...

Pretty notes: notes are ment to be useful, focuse on a basic color code so you can spot important concepts (red, blue and black pens work just fine, no need for expensive products) and make your notes spacious! Don't cluster all the information together in an efort to make your notes shorter, it will just make studying with them harder and more tidious.

Pushing the majority (or all your work) for the weekend: the weekend is our time to unwind! We might want to wake up at 10 am, have a slow breakfast with a slow coffee, watch a movie after lunch, meet up with friends or even go out at night, don't leave all the work for our weekly scheduled time to unwind. Because that is what the weekend is all about, relaxing and getting ready for the start of the new week.

With the start of the new semester, some of us have new classes, new classes that can be boring or tedious, especially if you have to force yourself to focuse or take notes. Just today, for example, I had four hours of lab (but not the lab where you actually go to the lab, but rather the one where you have to sit in a class and take notes of how a microscope works). What I would recommend is to find an element in the boring environment that would make the class less of a nightmere:

A classmate or friend with whome you can joke with from time to time or lean your head on their shoulder, look at their notes for guidance if you get lost, or draw a silly doodle on their paper.

A piece of stationary that is pleasing to use. I find the sound of my laptop keyboard to be motivating to take notes, but you can also use a favorite pen or pencil, a pretty notebook...

Okay, now we're heading outside of academics and into our personal lives. All of us at some point have had news of someone we care about losing a loved one. In that moment it can be hard to find the right words to say, and we choose not to say anything in fear of saying the wrong thing.

Instead of wondering what said person wants, we can just offer ourselves out, and they can ask what they need from us. For example:

"Hey, I've heard what happaned. I'm sorry for your loss and I wanted to let you know that I am here if you need me. Wether you want some company, someone to talk to, or even just some space, you can count on me."

Just letting the other person know you are there if they need or want to reach out will make them feel heard and seen.

Finally, we enter the love department. During those "waiting for the train or bus" times we might find ourselves texting a special person for us, and they might say something that will make us squeal in happiness or excitement.

Okay, enjoy it, be happy, take a deep breath. You are allowed to bask in the feelings that they bring to you, but please don't center yourself around it. Make it an added bonus to your day, not something you need in order to feel the tiniest bit of joy.

Lastly, remember that just becuase someone said something with a positive intention that doesn't mean it has to sit right, or you have to be thrilled about it. It's okay to enjoy compliments on your apperance, but if you crave deeper, emotional connections, then demand more from said person, more that goes from beyond the surface, and if they are not willing to give you that, then they are not the one.

okay, hear me out, what if Pomni is an AI designed to act exactly like how a human does.

AND, remember that scene where Ragatha goes to get her from her room? well she made a "huh?" sound, signalling that she didn't know what she was refering to and processing data about what this feeling was, that being said, it was most likely the feeling of guilt for not remembering or for not caring as much as she should've.

but what really brought this fantheory brewing was in episode 4 when it was the end of the work shift, everyone had called Gangle annoying, making her self-esteem and will to live almost non-existent, when Gangle was closing up the fast-food restaurant, I was 99% sure she was going to abstract.

but she didn't, and do you know why? because Pomni told her that she could close up shop to ease the stress that was brought onto Gangle by the 'worker environment' constantly calling her annoying, saying that this new passive agressive side of her was dis-likable.

What are Apparith's?

Apparith's are human-like people that have un-human powers and abilities. They poses characteristics like large wings, a long tail, sharp claws and possibly fangs. These things may not always be visible as Appariths can make visible or invisible at will. Apparith's have been around for centuries, and over the years have become more tamed and friendly. Some people see Apparith's as human-dragon hybrids, though this is not a fact. They walk on 2 legs, talk normally, and act just like normal people, even though their not...

What are their powers/abilities?

They have lots.

Dimensional travel: The ability to open a portel to another dimension of one's choice and go there.

Efialtiskinesis: The ability to enter and manipulate other people's dreams/nightmares.

Shape - shifting: When Appariths say they can shape shift, they might not mean what you think. Shape shifting in their terms means they can suddenly change clothes at a wave of a hand, create an item out of thin air. Things like that.

Element manipulation: Meaning they can control fire, water, air, earth, ect. They can shape it, bend it, whatever they want.

Physical manipulation: Meaning they can make someone do or say something they don't willingly want to, and the controlled will be obvious as this is happening. For this to work: The person being controlled must be wearing something that is matching the person who is in control, this could be a ring, necklace, bracelet or some other small piece.

Those are all that are known so far.

What are the different types?

There are 4 different types of Apparith's:

Willrith (the strongest most powerful type)

Bayrith (not as powerful, still strong)

Ownrith (same as Bayrith)

Lessrith (weakest type)

There appearance is also different depending on their type. Willrith wings are larger and stronger, the other types are smaller and slightly weaker. The tails also depend on the type, I will post some pics of the different types. If you have any questions regarding the types, then please ask.

Who are the Overlords/what is the council?

The Overlords are the 4 single most strongest and most powerful of all others in that dimension. Their job is to help and protect their own type and rule over them. They are also referred to as 'Higher' by their lowers. They made sure that everything was right in the dimension thet ruled over. To be chosen to be an Overlord, Appariths must undertake a series of tasks and questions. They also must wear badges so people know what type they are.

The council is the group of 8+ dimensions who work together in keeping everyone safe. They work closely together and also have a say in other Overlords choices. If anything happens they will hold a meeting in a chosen dimension to talk about what has happened. They used a special code the made to talk to others without anyone knowing what it ment apart from Overlords.

Some Overlords had 'Sides' go with them to meetings. Sides are people who help their Overlord with things such as a defence in court, inform them of anything important, protect them, and sometimes just be there for moral support.
