It's honestly really depressing when you consider that Rick is the only person that actively seeks Morty out. And even then it's for selfish reasons (going on adventures). Nobody else even seems to notice or care when he's gone, much less seek him out. Hell, no wonder he's codepedent, Rick is the only person that actually pays any kind of attention to him. Even if that attention is negative. My poor precious baby boy.

what would just turned vampire kafka be like? really wanna know your thoughts on how kafka would handle that endless hunger new vampires have to face. imagine being her s/o but also bloodbag. i think there's an intimiacy to not only nourishing kafka but also being sort of an anchor against the gnawing hunger. can't really explain it well but i loveee the codepedency between bloodbag human and vampire.
oh my god. okay wait lets think— fledgling kafka would be soooo fun to play with because she’s someone who’s very controlled and patient in general and in this case she’d be the complete opposite. i don’t think you could be around her at first like… as much as her rational mind would tell her she doesn’t want you to die, i believe kaf has no problem indulging her needs and would feed to kill. before she learns how to control her impulses and the call of blood, she would be so hungry all the time and would not care about the bodies she leaves behind if it means satiating this impossible, burning hunger that seems to be tearing her from the inside. at the same time, i do think she would at least try to regain control over herself since it’s important to her but she would kinda fail. if you’re human and you let fledgling!kaf drink from you, you are deadddd 😭 it’s over. like im a firm believer in “baby vamps have to relearn self control as they’re essentially born anew” and so whether she wants to or not she would drain you. as a baby vamp she would be kinda insufferable because she’d never stay still and would want to test everything about her new abilities which means she’s always doing something (dangerous). the hunger takes up a lot of place and controlling that takes even more energy. it’s some time before she’s back to regular old kafka but i think she’d be on some sort of high for a while after getting turned and would end up killing a bunch of people hfjdhfhfn she needs someone to clean up after her too because she’ll toss the bodies anywhere she doesnt gaf. once she’s mastered self control it’s different but as a baby vamp? she’s mainly just following her impulses
i agree about the relationship between blood bag and vampire, it’s so good. there’s something precious about being the source of their energy and life by giving up some of yours. i think vamps in general can be pretty possessive but kaf would really be. she doesn’t want you bleeding for anyone or anything else so no drop is wasted and she has a general feeding schedule but will still often end up drinking from you on a whim if she knows you can take it. she’ll drink in the evenings so that if youre feeling a little weak after you can just rest, not too picky about where but she does enjoy putting on a show while drinking from your wrist or somewhere around there bc she can see all of your reactions and they spur her on. she’s a classy eater! the most she’ll have is some blood trickling down her chin but she wouldnt make a mess. she drinks from you during sex too hahaha… she really has to restrain herself then because since she prefers toying with her prey to get that blood rushing, during sex your blood would be like ambrosia omfg. but i do think the only time you’d be genuinely terrified of her possibly killing you would be when she’s a baby vamp, after that she’s pretty chill. expect a lot of bite marks on your body she loves feeling things through her mouth more than anything else so even when she’s not feeding from you she’s still biting you and stuff. ugh i need vamp!kafka so bad

I think I accidentally started a homestuck resurgence among the moots oops XD
Tbh, I do tend to enjoy writing Pale Romance, or stuff that fits that vibe. Almost of my Kinitopet rp ocs have Pale relationship drama as a big part of their stories.
-Adminverse Sec has had a bit fat pale crush on Adminverse Kinito since pretty much the beginning. Though... perhaps that was kind of obvious, lol. Might be low-key Jelous of Owl (Sec bears Owl no ill will, she just. Wishes she could be doted on.)
But Sec has now come to the conclusion that she sucks at actually helping Kinito and being the friend he needs. Or helping anyone, really. She ain't doing so hot tbh, dealing with feeling like a failure and a type of platonic broken heart.
-Abandonware Sec *had* similar feelings for Abandonware Kinito but they were less intense. Plus while she didn't have the terminology for it she could see that Morail or Best Friend 'role' was filled by Shrimp already. But she was still happy to help both of them best she could.
...Then Kinito killed her sister.
-Sea Angel and Nito were basically in a codepedant pale type relationship. They did love each other very much, and they learned a lot from each other. But Sea Angel had isolated herself from everyone else over the course of their friendship, and Nito was perfectly happy to have Sea Angel to himself so he never tried to encourage her to reconnect with others.
Even after finally letting herself to properly feel the emotions tied to his death, Sea Angel is still pretty messed up from Nito's Death (and is subconsciously starting to cling to Amie to help fill the void)
-And finally, Firecracker. Sec was her Morail, straight up. Sec acted as Firecracker's emotional support, cheerleader, moral anchor and encouraged her to be less impulsive and reckless. And Firecracker considered herself her younger sister's protector.
But, Firecracker took the relationship for granted, stopped really giving Sec's words consideration, and didn't respect her despite loving her a great deal. Probably because she didn't really consider that Sec grew up, always seeing her as her cute but naive baby sister.
And the domino effect of that was the relationship quietly falling apart without Firecracker noticing until it all broke apart in spectacular fashion.

Hi!! I hope you're ok! Did you finish your exams??
I have a Little Three question 🥰 Between them, who walked first? Talked first?
I can't imagine how much alone Percy had to feel when she was pregnant, before her babies, and after, before they could talk to her and everything 🥺 Did Gaea visited often back then?
I need someone to take care of Percy 😩 And the Little 3 of course.
I saw an ask talking about Luke&Percy codepedency, but do you think that, in a way, she's codependent with all of her triplets?
Hi, I’m better than next week that’s for sure 🤣 my exam is next Monday, but if I don’t manage to post the chapter his weekend, I’ll make an exception and post during the week.
Hector was the first to walk (and Milo the last, because like, he could fly). Talking was prob Milo, but I’m not sure. One thing I find funny is that I recently learned that babies learn to pronounce “da” easier than “ma”, so there is great chances that they said “dada” in an attempt to say “mama”. And Percy probably cried over it.
Gaea visits were more frequent when Percy was pregnant, she did come after the babies were born but much less than before. Gaea is still sleeping, so she used a lot of power for those months of manipulation, so she couldn’t keep the same frequency after.
I NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM 😭😭😭 Apollo, como take your wife and kids!!!
In a way, Percy and her sons are codependent in different ways, and this is also a story about how the three of them get to understand themselves as individuals. Because Luke and Percy weren’t separated, we’re seeing a lot of their relationship together, but lately we’ll have the opportunity to see how it was with Milo and Hector.
Thanks for asking 💕

Ppl talk a lot abt how marvel doesn't even portray/write Bucky and Steve as besfrens when they're supposed to be for a lot of reasons, but I think a reason lol haven't mentioned much is how different americans think of (best) friendship and how cold and distant and atomized it is in their culture, especially in like the post-2010s era
like in my culture, those childhood best friends growing up become part of the family, everyone gets to know them, los padres ganan un nuevo sobrino, and that's what Bucky and Steve kinda feel like at first.
But gringos seem to think being "attached" is "unhealthy" and I think that's why marvel's american writers in recent decades make their "best friend" characters act like strangers almost and rarely interact super awkwardly like new characters entirely, plus with a lot of dash of toxic american individualism and stuff about having to "tough it out on my own"
like, you'd think that the only other character in that fictional universe who came from the same era/time period and had similar upbringing and was also a BFF in that time period would be someone that a character would interact with all the time, actually live up to the "inseparable" part and act like actual friends, but gringos call actual compañeros "codependent" bc their culture in recent decades has become much more lonely and individualistic...
*and also "Codepedence" is a word coined in the context of drug addicts in relationships and how drug dependence can affect the people who care about them, but it became another one of those medical terms that gets misused to push bad "science"/buzzwords
idk what keeps prompting these rants about captain america and bucky in my art blog but go off anon. Truly, so much of what the gringos complain about "muhh male friendships cant ever be healthy and platonic" is trouble of their own making. It truly is sad that we dont get more moments of tenderness and love with steve and bucky, like that's Steve's baby brother! The guy he cared for so so deeply and that interferes with so much of how he acts!

IDK I don't think Jensen is closeted, or that he didn't want to admit to himself, even if he does have some kind of extra feelings for Jared. I thought closeted is a word to describe sexual orientation so correct me if I'm wrong but I just don't feel it's the right word choice. Men doesn't need to be gay to have a crush on another guy, at least I don't think that's how it works?
Closeted traditionally mean to hide your sexual orientation, but increasingly it also means to hide anything you don’t want your friends to know about, like being the ultimate nerd gamer or an intense Brony.
You’re right, men don’t need to be gay to have man crushes, but don’t try telling that to the fine folks of tumblr i.e. Destiel shippers. Two men standing in the same room is enough for tumblr citizens to scream “GAY!”
I don’t think Jensen is closeted either, I think he’s codependent on Jared, or that Jensen’s more codepedent than Jared (they’re both codependent). Jared fulfilled a need that Jensen wasn’t getting from his friends and family. Jensen’s friends are less successful than him and constantly need his help to promote their non-existing careers or financially bail them out. Danneel and her brother aren’t very bright, his own mother is a trust fund baby and doesn’t seem that bright herself, and his father is vicariously living his acting dreams through his son and gives him weekly “critiques” on his acting (I wish you all can see my massive eye rolling). Then along comes young Jared - smart, intelligent, already financially successful, and is buisness savvy - the opposite of Jensen’s friends and family members. Jared allegedly arranged a better contract for Jensen for convention work, something his own manager should have done.

i literally adore your new namgi fic. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna go to hell but ngl my fave scene was when yoongi said namjoon's name and namjoon called him baby?? sign me the fuck up, honestly hope there will be more of this (pls don't judge me rip). also i noticed the codepedency tag, is it only gonna be yoongi? or will namjoon also develop feelings (like even fucked up feelings) for yoongi?
Thank you so much! I was a bit hesitant to post it at first because I worried that there might be some sort of backlash but, so far, the response has been amazing!
And yes, while the codependence will not be too severe, in my opinion, and I mostly put it there out of caution, there will definitely be fucked up feelings from both sides. Mostly, the story will focus on how all of that develops. :)

Mickey's codepedence on Ian makes The Doctor'd condepdence on Harry seem healthy and normal.
From Anon,
Mickey’s relationship with his baby is SO fucking frustrating.
Because in everything else he is a good guy. But the fact he didn’t call the cops when his coke head boyfriend kidnapped him was insane.
Sure he had a shittty father and mother who weren’t good parents to him. But I know so many people who grew up with abusive parents who are AMAZING parents!
Yes, little Yev was kind of a rape baby and Mickey resents how he came into the world. But he shouldn’t take that out on a innocent little life. It is not the baby’s fault.
How codependent they made Mickey annoys me. He went straight from being fully controlled by his dad, to being controlled by his boyfriend.
He went from one abusuer to the next, to the extent he protects his boyfriend from the cops over the safety of his baby and just hopes the baby is okay.
(what is even worse is the fact the Russian mother knew Ian had the baby as well. Her response? “If you’re fucking crazy redhead doesn’t give my baby back in four days. I will call the police.” what the fuck? The mother HATES Ian and blames him for ruining her marriage. Why didn’t she go to the police?
Five people knew about the kidnapping: Mickey, the baby’s mum, and THREE of Ian’s siblings. Guess how many contacted the police? ZERO.
If the baby hasn’t been locked in the car they might have never found either of them.
And then it is TOTALLY brushed out.
Mickey coddles Ian and doesn’t hold him accountable at all.
And that is on top of the abuse and cheating and shit Ian gives Mickey.
But the sad thing is so many people do go from one abuser to the next because they don’t understand how normal relationships are meant to work.
Mickey’s codepedence on Ian makes The Doctor’d condepdence on Harry seem healthy and normal.

Okkkkaaayyy so. Someone on youtube is saying that the show Rick and Morty isn't complex...now as someone who absolutely considers this show to be complex, let me debunk their points! (If you see the video, please don't send hate, everyone is allowed to have different opinions!)
The characters are not complex. I obviously disagree with this point (Wow, shocker, the person that made multiple analysis posts on Rick, Morty, and their dynamic thinks they are complex) Now, while they may seem pretty one dimensional at first glance, just an asshole scientist and a nervous wreck, there is a lot more to them when you watch the series. Rick may be an asshole, but not because that's what he wants to be or because that's just how he is, he feels like he needs to be to keep the people he loves safe (I have made serval more analysis posts on him buttt I won't get into it here) and he also suffers from depression and a deep sense of guilt and self-loathing. Morty is usually a pretty sweet kid but as the series goes on, he progressively becomes more desensitized to violence (Thanks to Rick) has low self esteem, repressed rage, (Also courtesy of Rick) and becomes more codepedent to Rick each seasons, despite knowing how horrible Rick is and how unhealthy their dynamic is. They also argue that Jerry, Summer, and Beth are not complex. I don't really have a defense for Summer, but Jerry and Beth are emotionally neglectful parents, and we see Beth attempting to make an effort to be there for her son, and Jerry is trying to be less of a pathetic man-baby.
The themes are not complex. This is another point I disagree with. While Rick and Morty does prefer to be a comedy show and is a comedy show first and foremost, they do sometimes talk about deep themes, like Rick and Beth dynamic is a good metaphor for emotional neglect, and Rick and Morty's dynamic is a wonderful show of codependency, toxic famial relationships and the effects of emotional abuse. Rick and Unity is another portrayal of how relationships can be toxic even if both people are happy and if there is no obvious abuse. They also do dive into deep themes like depression, what grief can do to a person, emotional abuse, etc. while these are never exactly major themes of an episode, they are still important and make the themes complex. Although the person in the video talked about the theme of nilhism, despite the fact that Rick isn't one and just pretends to be one to keep the people he loves safe.
The plot isn't complex. I will concede a bit on this one, but the plot still has complex moments, like Evil Morty is a great representation on what can happen when abuse victims can have enough and abuse victims that aren't "perfect" and his desensitization to violence, seeing how many people he will kill with no guilt. Rick's backstory is also pretty complex and explains a lot about his character. And stuff like Beth and Jerry's divorce actually changed and made an impact on both characters, and that's not even getting into the latest seasons or how much Rest and Ricklaxation revealed about Rick and Morty.
Now was making a massive post about a video that was made 3 years ago that has an opinon that I personally disagree with a bit much...maybe but also hey shut up. What do y'all think?

One thing I noticed between the Vat of Fake Acid arguement and the Rickfending your Mort arguement is that the Rickfending your Mort gets solved quickly, and the insults are a lot less harsh and less personal.
For example, in the Vat of Fake Acid arguement, we get some incredible personal insults, including:
Morty insults Rick's age "A vat of fake acid! Are you dying or dementia!?"
2. Rick insults Morty's life without him "What's that cool thing you did without me again? The awesome thing?"
3. Morty insults Rick's alcoholism "Big man, big genius, big lonely drunk."
Now let's compare those to some of the insults in Rickfending your Mort shall we?
Rick calls Morty a little gremlin when Morty says "I don't make the rules." Rick replies "Yeah, I do, you little gremlin" Not nice, but it's a lot less personal.
2. Morty calls Rick bitch "I got recipts, bitch." Not nice, but *cough* Rick deserves it *cough* again they are in an agrument, and that's a lot less harsh and personal than "A vat of fake acid, are you dying of dementia?!" (I love you so much, Morty)
3. Rick insults Morty by saying "Look at your face! You're so fucked!" But again, less personal. Then Rick accuses Morty of "cooking the adventure books" basically Rick says "They are basically like police body cams but you can't turn them off before you beat up a minortiy, or in your case before you cook the adventure books!"
This agruement actually gets solved pretty quickly when the observer comes in, and Morty even gets mad at the observer talking down to Rick. At the end of the episode instead of Rick tramatizing Morty for arguing with him, we get to see them excited for their next adventure together, with Rick saying while shaking Morty "Rick and Morty! We're back baby!" And even surprising Morty woth another gun (Entirely unprompted, he just wanted to surprise his grandbaby) and we even see Rick thanking Morty (In his own way) at the end of the episode, having completely solved their argument saying "Morty, I appreciate what you were trying to do, with the punchcard, my whole groove thing.". I just like seeing their growth, even their agruements are getting more civil (As civil as it can be considering who we're talking about) I love my codepedent little freaks <3

You know what's amusing? Jensen has many friends way before jared, sure not all of them are in the public eye but take jason manns for ex. He isn't possessive with him, today the hug at JIB8 was only for jared (who didn't hug back and hats are going beserk) which means jensen has this love for jared that he doesn't have for anyone else. Makes me wonder, does jensen have romantic feelings for jared? Something that jared doesn't reciprocate? Jensen's persona towards jared is very OTT
And this is partly why I think most Tinhats are Jensen’s fans or Ackles Army stans. They know the difference in how Jensen is with his friends versus how he is with Jared. Jared girls don’t know shit about Jensen’s friends and wouldn’t know the difference in Jensen’s behavior.
Makes me wonder, does jensen have romantic feelings for jared? Something that jared doesn’t reciprocate?
I think Jensen is codependent on Jared, or that Jensen’s more codepedent than Jared (they’re both codependent). Jared was 22 when he met Jensen, he was suddenly a lead of a show and responsible for the livelihood of 300 people (150 crewmen plus their families) to pay their rent and their kids’ colleges. Jensen is older, experienced, and a stable, reassuring figure in Jared’s life. I would be surprise if Jared wasn’t dependent on Jensen to some degree to quell his anxiety. Except people are not medicine and eventually Jared realized that. From Jensen’s perspective, Jared fulfilled a need that he wasn’t getting from his friends and family. His friends are less successful than him and need his help to promote their career or financially bail them out, Danneel and her brother aren’t very bright bulbs, his own mother is a trust fund baby and doesn’t seem that bright herself, and his father is vicariously living his acting dreams through his son and gives him weekly “critiques” on his acting (I wish you all can see my massive eye rolling). Along comes young Jared - smart, intelligent, already financially successful, has a sharp sense for business and finance, and eager to please.
Jared not “reciprocating” is his boundary setting. Surely you must have at least one couple-friends who have epic fights in public because they try to control the other though the public setting, counting on their partner not wanting a scene in public and so gives in. Their private fights are never as bad as their public ones when they have an audience. Whenever your partner is having a public hissy fit or a temper tantrum, the best thing you can do is not react, not reciprocate, not give in. Let them have their public display and live with the consequence.
Their con persona is Jared is a puppy that likes to touch and hug people while Jensen is the grumpy old man putting up with his antics. So when Jensen flip the script and acts all huggy with Jared or panders the Cockle with Misha, it yanks their chain and keeps them off balance. The more he yanks their chains, the more off balanced they are, the more control Jensen has. It’s how Ryan Seacrest got rid of poor Brian Dunkleman, Ryan went off script on air many times to make Brian flounder because he’s isn’t quick enough to improvise and was made to look like a fool.
