I think I really like the “they’re codependent as fuck and in any other context this would be extremely unhealthy and deeply concerning but they’ve been through so much just let them have it because they’d destroy themselves if not everything around them without eachother” dynamic because A it’s so beautiful in such a tragic way and usually built on great world building and character arch’s

B: I love unrealistic fantasy land that makes me cry

C: some part of me desperately wants that connection because I’m deeply chronically lonely and struggle a lot with long term human connection and interaction. And by loving these pairings I get to somehow experience it to some extent

Context; I’m trying not to cry about random things because I’m emotional over Jayvik and the horrible tragedy of their arch and how deeply lonely arcane the story is “connected loneliness” as I described it once and the sickening love they both hold in eachother in a way they can only contain by both carrying it

I love it so much when gf fanworks focus on Stan and Ford's codependency after the end of the show. I feel it just makes so much sense for them, both with how Ford had this "i only need one person in my life" mentality for a large portion of his life, him having almost lost his brother and the two just not having all that much time to spend together due to them being, well, old. Ford would latch onto Stan hard and Stan would just be happy to have him back and not really complain about it.

But, unlike back when they were kids, they can deal with it in a healthy way cause they now have other family and friends

Something that I love, now that I'm beginning to branch out and trying to venture into different parts of DC, is how fans of different superhero 'family' groups treat each other and characterize the other. The owo-ification of the Superfamily. The mutual hate and slander from the Batfamily and the Arrowfamily. Nobody cares about Aquaman. The fact that the Wonderfam and the Flashfam are kinda just there.

It's so fun.

A lot about the HPD & BPD coding here, the very obvious codependency (especially on Capochin's end for that one) but I'll leave that for another time / see if anyone would be interested in that ... I do think they'd qualify as pretty decent rep for untreated / undiagnosed for that

I have a hyperfixation on trauma & mental health too, and will likely dive into that with them at some point. Analysis and stuff. I mean I kinda already did in DMs to someone but shhhhhhhhh, I'd need a proper script to make a post about it.

I would also would have doodled Patty bc I love them a ton, but I'm NOT confident enough yet in the way I draw these lil guys. Patty will get a proper artwork when I figure out how to translate the Bizzyboys into my style in a way that I like. I swear.

I love it when characters love each other so much it’s almost religious. I love it when the love is obsessive and selfish and eats away at their soul and they can’t think about anything else. I love it when it consumes their entire life.

I love it when they hate themself so much that the only way they feel whole is when they love someone else. I love it when their idolization of the person they love goes so far that it dehumanizes them. When the person they love couldn’t possibly do wrong. When they can’t do anything but thinking about making them happy. Keeping them happy. Despising the rules THEY set to make their person as happy as possible and beginning to resent them too despite how much they love them.

Guilt. Guilt for everything they’ve ever done for themselves. Guilt for doing anything without their person. Guilt for doing anything that isn’t for their person. Rejecting their own personhood and agency in an effort to make their person happy, even if their person never asked for this.

I think that The Originals should have focused on the Mikaelson themselves. The Catalyst for the Mikaelson return to New Orleans could be rumors that Henrik came back to life. Considering that he was the catalyst for their vampire transformation, the fact he is alive would have shaken their established family dynamics. Marcel could have been the first one to find him and now he is on Marcel's side during the New Orleans battle? Henrik could be a witch that practices a special kind of magic or some kind of grim reaper? What if he has a strong moral compass as opposed to the rest of his family and is disgusted by their actions? 

What if Henrik didn’t actually die? What if he got dragged away from the wolves and Klaus assumed he died? The settlement would have gone to look for him and assume he got eaten after they didn’t find a body. What if that near death experience made him study necromancy? What if he uses it to help the dead fulfill their regrets?

it confuses me when people say they like willow or xander and then get all uncomfortable and condemning about, like... major parts about them. you don't like that they're wildly possessive of which often leads them to acting irrational and awful...... which is like one of their biggest traits? oh, and you hate that they're not fantastic friends to buffy............. which is also like. how they are. pretty much the entire time we know them. okay!

wow, you find xander to be annoying bc he's a dumb dude who seriously needs to unlearn some ideals and really outta treat his girlfriends nicer. I'm dismayed at his typical guy-ness. bummer, we don't enjoy that willow is like totally abusive when it comes to exerting whatever power can get over people. that sure is a bad thing she does.

I just. I like them BECAUSE of these things idk how the hell you could possibly separate these things from them and still enjoy these characters it boggles my mind

Hi. Since Until Dawn’s remaster came out recently, I want to share my oc :)

Elijah Washington

20 years old, and Josh’s younger twin. They’re very close with each other.

Eli was born with a faint heart murmur that he seemed to grow out of by the time he was school-aged.

When Beth ran out to look for Hannah, Eli went with her— and they split up.

Eli was attacked by the Wendigo, which was soon scared off by the Stranger— who completely missed Elijah lying in the snow. He suffered severe hypothermia from spending hours in the snow, and a concussion from the Wendigo barreling into and knocking him over so hard.

The concussion disrupted specific areas of his brain, leading to neurogenic stuttering that he is currently in speech therapy for. Nerve damage shows in faint, but persistent body tremors that get worse in the cold and with increasing anxiety. Due to the damage sustained from the cold and his injuries, his previous heart murmur turned into arrhythmia.

Eli wears a Patch Monitor to monitor his heartbeat, and it sends signals to his apple watch. His parents are paranoid for their last two children’s health, so the monitors are constant and changed every two weeks. He also has a Cardiac Alert dog, her name is Indie.

Elijah is in on Josh’s prank, so long as Josh doesn’t do the jumpscares in front of Eli without appropriate warning.

Eli, due to the stress, anxiety, and fear from being on the mountain— and that absolute terror he feels eventually when being chased by the Wendigos again—, is at risk of going into cardiac arrest if he and others are not careful.

sometimes you just want your two favourite characters who have nothing to do with each other to interact. anyways i think if felix and agent south dakota met in straightforward terms she would be disgusted by him. HOWEVER if they met in a circumstance where felix is acting the “charismatic gruff mercenary with a heart of gold” then she would be initial pissed off by his flippancy but she would fall completely for it. she’d reluctantly grow fond of him and she’d think they’re bitchy bffs.

if a straight-up the betrayal comes south would be apoplectic that she was fooled and she’d be VERY affected by it. shows that she’ll never trust anyone ever again. she would think back on all the times they made fun of other people together and wonder if he was also making fun of her for being the fool at the same time.

felix thinks she’s fun. pushing her buttons is fun but so is bitching with her. she’s mean and he likes that! maybe he asks her to join him. maybe when he realises he wants her to join him he begins manipulating her in that direction, sowing seeds of doubt for the side she’s working for, turning her against people, perfect for falling to his side. he’d spin a “i was a spy the whole time but you’re special and i can’t stomach betraying you” or something like that. maybe she sees through him. maybe she joins him - but if she does it won’t take long for her to see his true skin. maybe she stays. maybe she doesn’t.
