My Terzomega relationship in my AU is not normal. It's insane. Unhinged. Both human and ghoul society find it beyond the pale. Some sort of bizarre disorder for them both to have a connection like this.

And Terzo doesn't see it that way. Omega has shown him Unreality, forbidden magics. A place that is a playground for Terzo but a nightmare for anyone else.

Terzo has spent his entire life trying to break reality. And now he's in love with some Thing that can do just that.

And they will pay for this freedom. Dearly.

On aroace flags...

I want to be very clear, I am not criticizing anyone specific, but rather the current ways of combining the asexual and aromantic flags into a cohesive flag.

But I've had this floating around my head for a while, and I saw a post similar to it today, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Cut because it got long.

In the ace flag, black means asexuality, gray means gray/demi sexual, white is for allosexual allies of asexual people, and purple means community. (I lost the link to the AVEN post, but someone dedicated can find it. Otherwise you can just look up the meanings on the internet to verify).

In the aro flag, the green and light green stripes are for the aromantic spectrum, white is for non-romantic attraction, and black and grey are for the sexuality spectrum. So black, grey, and white all mean different things for each flag, yet in most combination flags, they only appear once. Do they mean what they mean on the aromantic flag or what they mean on the asexual flag?

The light green and green don't have any arbitrary separations for people who do and don't feel romantic attraction, and the grey and black of the aro flag don't have that for sexual attraction either, while the asexual flag does. Cutting out one of the green stripes or moving the black and grey away from each other don't make sense in the context of the aromantic flag.

I've also seen some that add an extra purple stripe. It doesn't mean anything, it's just aesthetic.

Whether or not you like the sunset aroace flag, it is a good example to look at when trying to create a flag to represent aroace people. It keeps the association with asexuality and aromanticism, without using the original colors in ways that don't quite fit. The whole point of having pride flags is to have a meaningful symbol to represent our communities. For aroace people, mashing two together keeps the association with asexuality and aromanticism, but loses the deeper meaning behind each flag.

Honestly, as an aroace person, I think the only way to really design an aroace flag is to depart from the imagery of either flag. That ensures the meanings are solid, and it ensures no one in accidentally excluded (which is, to my understanding, why the sunset flag was created originally - to have a community symbol that included the whole community inherently). But I understand not everyone shares the sentiment.

So, from one aroace person to another, if you are going to design an aroace flag that's based on the ace and aro flags, please keep in mind what those colors mean in the context of each flag, and don't put them in just to have them. And be sure that your design properly includes everyone you are trying to represent.

Darron has a BFA in music composition and a BS in sound recording technology. He used to be part of a musical ensemble that gained popularity in the Underdark, but he left after the backstabbing (literal and metaphorical) got out of hand.

Shadowheart's completely self-taught with a recognizable sound that she spent years developing. She's uncompromising with her music and makes sure that no matter who handles it, she always has the last say. She's not too keen on entertaining suggestions unless they come from someone she trusts or respects.

Shadowheart has been under the conservatorship of Viconia DeVir ever since she had the "accident" that made her lose her memory.

some things for the void

when i go little (which is rare bc i don’t have a carer/ haven’t worked up the courage to ask my friends to look after me) but when i go little i find myself clinging to repetition, with both the things that i say and [and] the things that i need/want my carers to say to me!! like when i [g-] go [sm-] small i tend to try to self-soothe/ reassure with repeating things like

“‘m small” “tiny… i’m so little” “little ‘m so little”

“‘m a good boy/girl” “good boys/girls c-ca-can be small” “being small is a, a g-good thing”

and things i’d want to hear/read from a carer could sound like

“irs okay to go small… it’s okay to be little sweetheart” “does someone need to go tiny? is my love in need of some little time?” “some time in littlespace for my sweet/cute little baby?”

“you’re safe with me little one” “there’s no way for any harm to come to you/us here…” “i’ll protect you from your thoughts + the world baby boy”

and lately i’ve been struggling a lot with bad self talk/ icky words and feeling “dirty” and sometimes i’ll repeat that kind of icky self talk in my head… and i think it’d be so good to have a carer who [who um, who] would be willing to listen to my icky thoughts and tell me the non-icky thought/ truth in response… for example

i say “‘m dirty” -> my carer says “you’re not dirty baby, you’re all nice and clean from {insert example here}”

i say “dirty babies d-don’t deserve l-love” -> my carer says “you always deserve love sweetheart, my love for you isn’t any less if you’re feeling clean/dirty honey, i’ll always love you.”

i say “i don’t wanna brush my teeth/go potty it’s icky” -> my carer says “i know it feels icky little love, here, why don’t we try {doing the task together} or how about after you’re finished we can {insert reward/comfort activity}

i say “h-how c-can you love me even though… ‘m dirty” -> my carer says “i love you because you’re you! i know it feels like you’re dirty but i promise those thoughts aren’t true sweetheart? everyone feels/gets dirty love, but it doesn’t make them any less worthy of love and care, right baby?”

all and all ‘m a baby whose head can be really loud and scary, and that’s why i made this blog! um i’m sorry for the brackets and the parenthesis that’s just how i write when i’m in a softer headspace! thanks for reading and if ur a carer please know that i’m so grateful u exist!!
