For Travis

One of the kids being mischievous like Dad and getting their head stuck in the railing or cutting their hair or sneaking out of bed to go downstairs

You woke to the sound of a crash downstairs. You shot up in bed, looking over at your husband who was still dead asleep, his mouth hanging open as he snored.

"Travis." You poked him the bicep but he didn't move.

"Travis, wake up." This time you slapped him across the chest, startling him awake. "What? What's happening?"

"I heard something downstairs. What if someone broke in? Can you please go check?" Your stomach was in knots at the thought of a stranger in your house.

Travis rubbed your arm, reassuring you. "Baby, we have the most expensive alarm system we could get. We would have known immediately if someone opened a door or a window. Its probably just one of the dogs getting into the trash can." He rolled over on his side, trying to go back to sleep.

You held your breath, listening intently. Suddenly you heard another loud thump, followed by a metal clanging. This time Travis wasn't so convinced it was one of the pups. "I'm gonna go downstairs and see what's going on. You stay here." He grabbed an aluminum bat he hid under the bed for moments like this.

"Travis, what do you need a bat for? You're 6'5", do you really think the robber is going to be bigger than you?"

"This is just for the element of surprise. I'll sneak up on him, hit him in the kneecaps and then tackle him." He slowly made his way out of the bedroom, taking the stairs quietly.

You were a bundle of nerves after a few seconds, and decided to get up and follow your husband downstairs. You snuck up behind him, making him jump.

"Baby, I almost hit you with this bat!" He whispered, "stay close".

You both heard a commotion in the kitchen, the sound growing louder as you got closer. Travis rushed into the kitchen, flipping the overhead light on. Savannah screamed out when the lights turned on, making her drop the box of cookies she had in her hands.

The only burglars in the house were the kids. Alex was eating a slice of cold pizza, while the girls were helping themselves to a handful of Oreos.

"What are you guys doing down here?"

"I couldn't sleep, and my tummy was rumbling, so we came downstairs." Alex explained, shrugging like it was no big deal that he was up in the middle of a school night.

"I want everyone up in bed right now." You put your hands on your hips as you watched the kids sulk back upstairs to their rooms. You turned back around to Travis, rolling your eyes when you noticed him stuff a couple of cookies in his mouth. "Seriously?"

He shrugged, his mouth full. "I was kinda hungry too."

"C'mon lets go to bed. We both have to be up early too." Travis followed behind you, his hands on your lower back.

"Wait." you stopped in your tracks. "Bring the box of cookies with you."

I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.

Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.

Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

Platonic yandere! Uncle Iroh x reader

(tw: yandere, dark fiction, implied obsessive behaviour, mentions of manipulation)

This is just a concept, I actually haven't thought about it much this is basically just a word vomit.

No matter how you two meet, I feel like it's no surprise that he's not overbearing.

In fact, compared to ozai, he is pretty nice and reader probably won't even notice the rise of his tendencies as a yandere.

Uncle Iroh chooses and values humility over pride so he's pretty chill. He is wise and takes great joy if he manages to get reader to laugh with one of his jokes.

If you aren't a part of the royal family, maybe you originally meet him at a tea shop you frequent or work at.

How long he knows of you will also depend if you are from the fire nation or Ba sing se

His fixation probably starts if you reminded him on anyway shape or form of his deceased son. Even as wise as he is, Uncle Iroh is not imune to grief and it's sorrowful claws, which sometimes leads to some irrational paranoia (not that reader or anyone else is aware).

With that, he wishes to be by your side no matter what, it's enough to just bask in your presence and to know reader is safe and sound at all times.

I see him carrying something you own with him 24/7, so if your favourite necklace is suddenly missing don't worry to much about it. Oh? You're sad about it? He'll buy you another one so you'll always have with you something to remind you of him

He's actually really sweet period

Even though he's just an old man, don't let looks deceive you, he is pretty powerful, a general and brother of the Fire Lord Ozai, when it comes to you and your safety, if it's necessary he won't hesitate to use any of his titles, although he prefers peace over battle.

Teaches you a lot os things like how to brew tea property. Loves to make you tea and other blends

If you don't know how, he'll also teach you how to play pai sho

As we all know, he is great at giving advice when you come to him with your problems, he loves listening to you. If reader has any activities they enjoy he'll absolutely insist to participate.

Best emotional support and company, you'll find it easy to talk to him about anything and everything, and in the middle of your excited rambles you won't even realize the amount of personal questions you've answered and the kind man who is mentally memorising it all, drinking it like the golden liquid of the gods

He tells you stories of his time as a general, tales of the spirit world and shares his knowledge of culture from other nations.

He doesn't care if you can bend or not, you being you is enough.

His yandere side doesn't really shine through that much, he lets you have all the freedom you want but you'll come to notice that he's always near, seemingly afraid to stray too far.

Like a father, he praises you for everything not just because of his tendencies but because he's genuinely proud of you.

Even if he doesn't like it, he'll subtly manipulate you to stay with him or to not leave permanently without him for another path of life .

Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg, once reader ceases to be oblivious of their situation some things are bound to change.

Fenris Dragon Age 2 Remake

I like and dislike at the same time that in Dragon Age 2 we can't change the armor of our companions, but I think it would be interesting since we can't change it, they change their armor according to the acts of the story

Act 1

I imagine that during his constant state of fugue, Fenris hasn't had time to actually change his Tevinter armor or anything like that, he just hides and camouflages what he wears with capes.

Act 2

He lives in Danarius' mansion and is finally able to get new clothes in Kirkwall. His hair ended up growing a bit since a different appearance would help him blend in even more among the people.

act 3

Danarius and Hadriana are dead, Fenris no longer has reason to hide or to fear that someday someone will show up to take him back to Tevinter. Now his hair is longer than before and he wants it that way because he likes it that way... For the first time in years he can finally want something

hi hiiiii! i know i havent been active on tumblr but i feel like my followers deserve justice with content so have a little concept art ive made with the idea of steampunk stuff

one is a chandelier, the other is a lamppost. these concepts were originally made for one of my college classes but i honestly can see these things being used in my worldbuilding. i plan on making more posts, its just that i dont wanna add too many topics in 1 single thing
