Some more stuff I drew a while ago. My take on the combos of different TOH covens with the abomination coven. I'm thinking of maybe doing more combos when I have time. Also maybe redoing the abomination x healing. Anyways. Art tips are more than welcome.

Eda, a Master of Construction Magic?
Okay, I was once again sad the we never got to see a Master of Construction Magic go full out in a fight.
Yes, Mason was there in King's Tide, but he didn't even cast a single spell. So the closest we get is Eda in Season 1.
...Who in her first fight against Lilith uses almost exclusively Construction Magic!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THAT IS DEFINITELY CONSTRUCTION MAGIC, right?
And then, in her second fight against Lilith:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She's mostly relying on flying/teleportation and "magic blasts", but there's still some Construction in there.
So I guess we technically saw a Master of Construction Magic go all out in a fight.
And it was Eda.
...
But I still want to see Mason in a real fight.

Note
They’ll make belos find a way to gently lower the giant arm he raised into the sky
I can just imagine a team of Construction Coven witches using cranes and stuff to make sure the arm stays steady as Philip re-possesses the Titan and tries to put the arm back down.

Beastkeeping coven:
-all the safety restrictions for the animals. -zero safety precautions for the beastkeepers. You prolly aren’t living to sixty in that coven. -Eberwolf is just kinda a bad boss. Not actively horrible or anything, they just don’t solve anything on a good day. -they’re a relatively small coven, so they don’t get a lot of funding. The whole coven is constantly in a state of budget cuts. -Typically a pretty good community. -There tends to be clusters of beastkeepers in rural areas, there’s less of them in cities.
Potions coven:
-Safety is pretty 50/50. Depends on your job, really. -Vitmir is rarely seen in public, he seems to keep everything running somehow though. -Pretty large coven size. If you can’t pick a coven by the time you graduate, potions is a pretty safe bet. -There’s a pretty even spread of them across the isles. It’s not like they’ll ever run out of work.
Abomination coven:
-Safety is pretty abysmal. They’re normally so caught up in “can we?” That they never ask “should we?” -Darius keeps things together. He’s pretty apathetic, but it not like things are falling apart. -Big coven. Not the largest, certainly, but it’s a pretty popular tract choice. -Clusters of them in cities, they normally work in research facilities or factories.
Plant coven:
-Def not the safest coven. Not the worst, but the combination of deadly pants and Terra tend to make it a treacherous tract. -Terra is an active nightmare to work for. Titan help you if you get her angry. She does get shit done, though. -Despite all this, it’s the largest coven. You can’t pretend their magic isn’t useful in everyday life. -Like the beastkeeping coven, they tend to live in rural areas.
Bard coven:
-Pretty safe. Not like they’re working in particularly dangerous environments, normally. -Raine’s a very understanding boss, but the bard coven typically doesn’t come out on top when there’s arguments. -It’s the smallest coven. The reputation doesn’t really incentivize people to join. -Most of them live in pretty urban areas, but there’s a decent few in smaller towns.
Healing coven:
-Ironically dangerous, especially if we’re counting burnout as a danger. -Hettie is ruthless when it comes to her covenmates. She’s not the worst boss, but you want to avoid her if possible. -Middling coven size, on the smaller size. -There’s definitely more of them in cities, but you can find a healer pretty much anywhere.
Construction coven:
-Safest coven in existence. Seriously, their worker safety handbook is as tall as Mason and is required reading. -Mason is pretty strict with keeping things in order. -Mid coven size. -Their members don’t seem to cluster in any particular area, which is odd, considering the concentration of construction projects in cities.
Illusion coven:
-About as safe as a regular office worker in our realm. -Adrian is an absolute dick of a boss. He’s the type to randomly make people sing their reports, and then not fix anything. -Fairly small coven size. -There’s a pretty thin but even spread of them. You can find one almost anywhere, but it might not be easy.
Oracle coven:
-High risk of madness, but other than that you’re good. -Osran never really does anything. He’s just kinda not interfering. -It’s the third largest coven. Who doesn’t want to see the future? -They tend to live in the middle of nowhere. Like, seriously, where are all these supposed members?

Something that I don't mention much but uhh yeah, FNAF x The Owl House, an au I never mention because I fear to make a complex lore and story base around the concept.
But it's still fun to mention and think about :)
Anyways Fazcule using their specified coven powers

Headcanon that the covens didn't go away after the glove to remove the sigils was made. A lot of those witches had already been using the same kind of magic for years and while many would likely have tried branching out, they would still mostly use the magic associated with their covens.

Could be for aesthetic reasons. Could be because you think you would do the best with that kind of magic. Any reason works.

I don't know how old the post was, but I like the idea of the construction and illusion covens having a small philosophy differences that leads them to butting heads.
With this in mind I now like to think that Mason and Adrian just hate each other because of all that.
I already headcannon that Adrian and Raine hate each other because of how different they are with performances and personality, but to add Mason to the mix here is really funny to me for some reason.
Adrian just has a lot of enemies. Raine, Gus, and now Mason lol.
I hadn't thought about bards in that equation yet!
So, I would think that Bards and Illusionists usually get along just fine, because they are both the creative type and often work together.
Usually. Because yes, Raine and Adrian can't stand each other.
Now, talking about Bard and Construction Magic, I'd say there is a bit more respect between those covens:
Playing an instrument is more physical than casting illusions and the effort and training needed is more apparent to a construction witch.
And of course, instruments need to be constructed, so bards are more likely to gain an appreciation for good craftsmanship.
But there are definitely also some bards that are elitist jerks, and some construction witches that see bards as weaklings.
Back to Adrian and Mason, I'd headcanon that the reason they don't get along is not because of their covens "rivalvry". Mason has no patience for such nonsense.
Mason dislikes Adrian because the latter is a terrible leader, and should never have been given the title of head witch. Mason can't stand incompetence.
Adrian on the other hand is fully on board with the whole rivalry between their covens and might even stoke the flames a bit if he can.
