Maybe kinda weird but there is One (1) thing i really dislike in the Danny Phantom fandom.
The Obsession Fanon.
Because I believe it takes away some very important characteristic from Danny.
If you make his so-called 'obsession' protection you take away something very important.
The fact that he choose to do it.
He choose to help people. He continues to choose it no matter what. He still helps the people who bully him.
Why? Because as he said in an episode. No one else will.
He is a good person and by just saying he has to because of an "obsession" I feel like you destroy that part of his character.
If you make his 'obsession' space you also take something away. As he mentioned he wanted to be an astronaut. By making it an obsession you take away this thing he loved. Because you end up 'forcing' him to love it because he has to to survive because of 'obsession'
Sure. The ghosts have a theme but they are more than that. Sure Ember has her music thing but she still dates and does other stuff. Youngblood plays games but he is a young kid.
What would you even give Johnny and Kitty? Love? With all the arguements they have?
I dont like the Obsession thing that Fanon seems to be convinced about is Canon and I will die on this hill.
And no. It isnt Canon. As far as I remember (and I watched the show three times but i may misremember some stuff) it was never truly mentioned as obsession. You have ghosts who have goals but the humans also have goals and you dont call that obsessions.
These ghosts are just bored out of their minds and decide to do ghost stuff and cause trouble because of that or to gain more power.
Ember doesnt sing because she wants to be a popstar. She straight up is a popstar because she gained more power from people knowing her name. (An example I know of the top of my head)
Just. Really dislike the fandoms obsession with Obsessions.
Okay that is all. 1am rant over.

saw an older post from @golvio talking about miasma in totk (engl gloom..) and mentioned miasma RAIN
and it just kidna lead me to think up more stuff for the game that would have been so logical and cool as hell
if you have played kingdom two crowns, its basically about building a kingdom and defeating some weird goo monsters (idk the lore that well unfortunately) that spawn through portals each night, and once you destroy a portal there will be a bloodmoon night in which they attack wayy stronger
so what if instead of the bloodmoon being only that one cutscene to respawn enemies and clear cache, what if the whole night was coated in a red glow with the bloomoon looming over you the entire time and the cool ass cloud moving super fast effect from botw, with monsters spawning en masse, maybe even unique ones that arent seen anywhere else- or maybe rarely underground, this red night being the only time they will be able to spawn on the surface and the sky- NPCs running to hide and barricade themselves (so the outpost in front of hyrule castle actually has .. a function) and it beign an actual danger to you as well miasma rain being a possible special weather condition either happenign only during those bloodmoon nights or perhaps a few nights in advance to subtly warn you about whats to come soon, with the rains effects being that it slowly takes your health like acid rain if you stand in it for too long, and rarely a bloodmoon enemy spawning already, to give you a clear taste and warning of the coming night, they could form from the puddles building up from the rain!!
once the sun rises it will all calm down, maybe with a tiny cutscene using the good ol sunrise music from ww and showing people opening the gates of the towns again to transition the game from that event to a reset version again
it wouldnt just serve to make the gameplay and world more alive it would also help the narrative (not going into the HUGE problems i have with it in the canon game again) it would actually make it FEEL like you are living in a world on the brink of being swallowed by miasma and mosnters- botw was a looming threat in the background, with the security of zelda keeping it at bay but it still was there and in tone with the theme of the game (cough cough unlike some other newer game)- it would only make sense to then make totk be one where you actualy live through the catastrophe and try to find out its roots and help adress the core issue bC GODDAMN WHAT A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY IT WAS TO CONTINUE THE SUBLTE BUILD UP FROM BOTW INTO A MUCH MORE NUANCED AND INTERESTING STORY TO F-

The tumblr q&a is over, but I was curious! I love all the different phrases the characters in isat/sasasa:p use--If it's something you can say, where did inspiration for "gems alive" and other phrases come from?
THANK YOU FOR ASKING BECAUSE I GET TO TALK ABOUT WORLDBUILDING AND SWEAR WORDS AND BRANDON SANDERSON
long post ahead
ok so when I was figuring out the world, I found this lecture on worldbuilding by Brandon Sanderson (go watch it, and also go read his books), and (im gonna paraphrase heavily here) one thing he mentioned is that, to make a memorable world, one thing you can do is pick a couple areas of culture, and go real deep with it. So like, pick fashion, and architecture, and interior design, and develop those a bunch, and bam! you convinced people you have a whole dang world, even though you only developed 3 areas of this world. hollow iceberg everyone thinks is a real iceberg.
he also mentioned the idea of like... getting weird with it? and develop based on a weird detail? for example, in his book The Stormlight Archives, one detail is that women have to hide their left hand at all times. ok, so what does that mean, whats taboo about a left hand? is the left hand shameful, or lewd somehow, the same way ankles were for us? what about fashion, what does women's fashion look like? and how do you live your every day life, knowing you can't show this hand, can you carry things the same way? etc
SO, for me, one of the Big Worldbuilding pillars i picked was, uh, swear words lol. or language and common expressions, more generally. i went on a whole journey where i was like... ok swear words in a LOT of languages (including french and english, both languages i speak fluently) are either sexual, or about gross bodily discharges. you know what words i mean!!!!!
and, well, i also didnt want the game to be full of those words, mostly because i think its a tightrope to use those words without seeming cringe, and also because i have a Core Memory of showing a comic to a colleague and she said "well i wouldve liked to show it to my kids, but you said fuck 12 times in there" and i didnt show my face to her for a week. family friendly family friendly family friendly
so what swear words should my characters use, that arent the same ones we use? and could those swear words actually tell us something about the world they live in? could i actually use those swear words... to show the characters come from different cultures???
and what COULD swear words be like, if theyre not about sex or body stuff? well irl they're usually about religions or belief. "oh god", "goddamnit", etc. as a sidenote, stuff like "oh my god" or "geez" arent used, because jesus christ is not canon to the ISAT universe. alright
i decided very early on i wouldnt have those in the game either, but i COULD have them be about the religions specific to this world. and for insults, i could have them be about stuff those beliefs would see as lesser.
anyway instead of talking about "gems alive" lets talk about "crab"
isabeau+mirabelle+bonnie use "crab" as a swear word because they follow a religion all around change, bettering yourself, evolving, and, the crab meme,
Tumblr media
for those who dont get the joke, its about carcinisation, and about how a bunch of non-crab-like forms somehow evolved to a crab-like form. which would be horrible, for a religion all based around change!!! you mean we change and evolve, but theres a chance we might all become crabs??? CRAB!!!!!!!
anyway having "crab" kinda reads as 1. swear word 2. thats funny and weird (sets the tone) 3. tells you they know what crabs are (world not that different from ours, AND means they live close-ish to the coast, aka not land locked) and 4. crabs are somehow hated/feared, even if as the player you dont get why, it shows this country has its own culture (even if you dont get the crabs joke, which uuuh apparently doesnt work as well in countries that dont have this specific meme. WHATEVER!!!!)
(a few people came to me saying "heh, i get it, because crab and crap are very similar words" and um actually i did not think about that. crab is just a funny word on its own, and also i am a comedy genius without even trying)
anyway tldr: swear words as a worldbuilding tool. soon in theaters

Isnt elia being loved by the people canon. Its definitevly the case in dorne but in the rest of westeros as well. Theres been a long time since I read the books but im pretty sure thats the case and that part of the reason people arent fans of the lannisters is because they had her killed.
exactly, anon.
Elia is still loved in dorne and not only that but she's the core of the dornish plot. Not only that but what happened to her heavily influenced Ned's decision to go talk to Cersei before telling anyone about her "indiscretions" (fully support her btw, imagine having more Roberts running around).
Also, Elia is described to be impossible not to like. It's soo funny how RL stans like to pretend she was this abusive woman who mistreated Rhaegar and that's why he left (even if it was the case, what he did was completely unjustified but that's for another post).
Elia who's canonically the one of the few people who ever coo over baby Tyrion and was described as "a good woman, kind and clever, with a gentle heart and a sweet wit. I know the prince was very fond of her.”?? Please.
Anyway, nothing changes that "the dornishmen burn to avenge Elia and her children." and that she was well loved.

Hi
Tumblr media
(this is just an ask for more underangel's content.)
oh dear. ive been stalling writing for this specific au for such a long time,,,,
UnderAngel Lore
or. um. options for it, you get to decide whats canon ? i hope u know i could be lying. or not
i wont be able to make a long lore post (like keepertale's) because. um. although this AU is older than underpills, it's gone (+ going) through SO MANY changes even i cant list them all down
the core plot of underangel is "what if there was never a war between humans and monsters?" its somewhat like ?? a complete opposite of underfell
Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, the humans threatened the monsters, who did not want to fight, much less a war. Surrendering themselves, the monsters were sealed underground with a magic spell.
Tumblr media
this au is focused on sans and his identity as a human turned monster kinda deal, he and papyrus are "undead" and were resurrected by toriel (to see if resurrection is possible) and gaster (to find the limits of healing magic)
they were taken in by gaster after the resurrection thing (since he was the one who proposed the experiment in the first place) but after gaster "dies" they dont really remember ANYTHING about themselves because all their knowledge came from him. they just have this sorta nagging feeling that theyre Not Really Monsters yknow
sans has always been the centre of the au (even back when it was still called underheaven, and there was even a heavenfell,,,,) heres doodles of what i remember them lookin like
Tumblr media
but ACTUALLY
Tumblr media
this au focuses on chara and their internal conflict as the main reason monsters almost went to war.
see, the story goes somewhat like this:
When the "heart-of-gold trophy child" Chara started "misbehaving" after a game of hide and seek with Asriel, the Monster King's son, humans decided to stop the charade of acceptance. It started with a simple threat toward Asgore and his kingdom. His advisor seemed very... very favourable of war, but he only wanted peace between his people and the humans. So in order to avoid war, he decided to surrender before the humans could so much as scratch his family. Despite the sacrifice separating Asriel and Chara made for peace, Chara decides to run and find a way to go to Mt. Ebott and reunite with their family.
they (and asriel !!) serve as frisk's guide throughout the underground and they get to understand the history of it through exploring, but also chara's insights on certain things (you can tell i like the narrator chara theory) they even have a sit down where they talk about their feelings about being stuck underground
chara is actually in their late thirties now (baby face :/ im envious)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HAHA SIKE !
Tumblr media
its ACTUALLY about the mystery of the former royal scientist and the six (dead) fallen children
frisk finds the mysterious grey door in room 268 and is met with a deformed phantom of gaster, he does not speak nor does he move, and when frisk reaches out to try and touch his hand, he flashes a big smile and disappears.
frisk then goes around the underground asking if they know someone who looks like that, and pieces together that it was the royal scientist after speaking to gaster's followers in hotland (this guy rlly met all of them. in one run. damn)
(side note angel!gaster is like. a multiverse therapist now. i call that "au" or his little corner of the multiverse outcode counseling)
ANYWAY
u can choose which of these are canon or like. which of these arent. or maybe NONE of them are canon and this whole post is a lie
oh but underangel always ends in a genocide run

this is gonna be a really unwelcome take but.
...chapa has a really good mom. im sorry to say it.
her mom is genuinely caring and wants to help her daughter but it comes off as danger because of chapa's inherit personality and reaction towards this type of affection
Tumblr media
YOU GOTTA HEAR ME OUT FOR THIS ONE [and like really hear me out. this is a long one. sorry 😭]
lets just take it from the way she treats Bose and Sage. Chapa is known for being the angry and violent character and yet she's able to switch on this sort of almost motherly compassion when either of those two are distraught in some form. It's fully reasonable to determine that these are behaviors she's learned in her own home, based on the way her whole family paused their world to comfort Sage when she lost her imaginary friend. chapa's mom behaves the same as the other parents with the exception of being a little more stern which is normal when you're child frequently acts out and literally gets arrested for fun. there really isnt anything about their relationship to imply that the household is dysfunctional in anyway, in fact it implies the opposite but i'll come back to that later.
the two points that come first to mind in proving chapa is living in a dysfunctional household are (A). Chapa attempted to hide the fact that she has parents and (B). Her mom has canonically stated that Sage is her favorite child but hear me out these arent points that can be used to say that her mom is in anyway cruel or uncaring. her mother is literally normal
Point (A). proves that her parents genuinely care about her. Like, I want you to really think about what happened in that scene. Yes, she did go on this crazy facade of lying about her parental status, but thats because its nickelodeon and everything is exaggerated. Later in the episode she admits to lying about having parents due to not wanting her friends to make fun of her parents for being dorks. Honestly, if her parents were dysfunctional in some way they literally would've just said that. It couldn't have been censored due to it being a kids show based on characters like Bose and his dad, Jasper and his mom, and even Andre from victorious and his grandma. Chapa's parents, upon learning that there was a family night at school, dropped everything to attend [like, think about it. it was late at night. they were probably at home enjoying jeopardy when they noticed theyre daughter had just. vanished.] Also true that they went through her stuff to learn about the parent night, but this is proven to be a normal thing [although that does suck we can all agree that it sucks thats normalized] as the rest of the parents admit to doing it as well. I know what you're thinking. "Oh but Acid, she was clearly uncomfortable upon her parents arrival and was super uncomfortable when they went in to hug her" Yeah. That's cause that's Chapa De Silva. When has she ever been ok with affection of any form that wasn't from the core three or Sage.
Point (B) [and the one that gets me the most riled up] is literally. Normal. It's normal for parents to have favorites. Like yeah, it sucks. But it's normal. We have to take it into consideration the fact that Alejandra did absolutely everything in her power not to admit to Sage being her favorite. It had to be pried out of her with a truth ray, and even then how could she have known that her other daughter was in the room listening to her mother admit to preferring her younger sibling? But look at it from Alejandra's perspective. Imagine having two daughters, one of which is this absolute sweet heart, who is kind, caring, has a big heart and an even bigger imagination. And then your other daughter who has anger issues, violent ideas, outbursts, and frequently gets in trouble. Admit it, you'd likely prefer Sage as well.
"Oh but Acid what about their argument at the beginning of season three?" ...bro the one about the fact that chapa was getting arrested for shits and giggles? dude if i was a parent id also keep my child on a tighter leash if she got arrested twenty times in a row [exaggerated number i realize. but still.]
we need to appreciate that though all this, her parents have been caring and supportive of their daughter improving and getting better. canonically they had her in anger management, and were extremely open to the idea of family therapy when ray made a joke about it. and its been working! its noticeable that chapa has changed based on how differently she responds to violence in season one verses in season three. theyve been working as a family. and its been working.
i think the reason this makes me so mad is because we use chapa's parental status to justify the way she acts but like. theres nothing wrong with saying chapa has a problem and just needed help. like her personality doesnt have to be justified by saying she was abused. theres literally nothing wrong with being born that way and just needing some help. thats why this makes me so angry.
yall want her to be john bender so badly. bffr. [if yall dont know who john bender is get off my blog rn im being dead serious]
"oh acid why do you care so much why does it matter?"
*mamas boy playing faintly in the distance*

Reproduction hcs a little expanded on even (sfw parts of the hcs sent to the other account)
Drone kids in general:
- Drones do not reproduce sexually, obviously, instead they buy the pill baby/untrained networks shell and combine their codes (I heard the code combining part is canon?)
-> to combine their codes the parents use USB ports stored in their fingers to each copy parts of their code and transfer it into the untrained network (theres some in between step of them shuffling what parts of whose code is used before they transfer the finished code to the baby to give it conciousness.  Don't ask me what that step it) -- they can customize some stuff like LED default color (can be re programmed later), some quirks/traits that aren't too closely embedded in the base code (the solver is too embedded in the base code so the parents have no control over passing that down), base parts for future personality or leave that randomized
- this is kinda canon? Liam mentioned in Glitch X that it's most likely like this: Drone children get their consciousness transferred into new bodies at certain ages until they reach the adult model (hc - some parents choose to instantly put them in an adult model bc ut saves resources, but the kids still age normally and need to basically get "updates" or "patches" whenever they hit a certain age in order to mentally age up)
-> (yes that implies Khan [and Nori] purposely chose for Uzi to be considered short bc they got her the new shells)
- Unused kid bodies + Untrained Networks can either be kept to pass on/down family or friends or can be resold
WD x DD "hybrid" kids:
- due to DD coding having the headbands be their  "real" eyes (according to concept art, the show supports that they at least store multiple visual functions of theirs) / their main way of identifying their surroundings (screen is like a camera,  they arent blind without the headbands just lack a lot of enhanced abilities, which can cause disorientation and confusion) that means that WD x DD children often come out visually impaired from their DD parents code,  as part of their sight code doesn't match a default WD body. (I guess you COULD  argue that the DD parent could literally just donate their own head bc they can regrow them 💀 but I'll leave that idea up in the air on if they're even compatible with a WD body or would be in tact enough to be re purposed lmao)
-> the DDs let some WDs take a closer look at their headbands so for these situations they could re create them. They're way less advanced,  so a WD x DD kid still will have way weaker sense of their surroundings than their DD parent  but better than their WD parent, but it's better than having them run around half blind. The parents need to get them custom made for the kids needs and install them to be connected to their screen either themselves or have someone who knows how to do it install them
- Hybrid kids usually get a WD core bc the Colony doesn't have access to DD cores, unless they are ripped from a DDs destroyed and discarded body (Fever lab scraps, or consciousness moved to a clone)  which are hard to come by but can be acquired if the parents really want it (parents need to organize that themselves,  way too dangerous for a mechanic to look for!)
-> the next one ties into this so I'll add here that DD cores are slightly acidic (nothing near the pure acid if stabbed)
-  any DD features have to be custom made, that includes tails, as stated above headbands, wings, acid containers (can only be made if they have a DD core bc it produces the acid [see above point]!), custom limbs, and any internal containers/pumps for acid & for storage of oil reserves to avoid overheating
- speaking of, kids can still have DD/Solver traits like weakness to the sun or struggle with overheating, they're passed down the same way via code as a regular drones quirks/traits -- they can't really be actively be chosen or customized as they're too embedded in the base code (like the Solver itself -- since those traits stem from it)
- Hair is just wigs, it makes no other sense in my head (don't ask why DDs re-generate with the wig, I've no idea. I just pretend they don't and that they have to grab it from their old head /lh) so the parents & kids have full free range with customizing the little terrors appearance (like if they want it to match with their parents[like Uzi & Nori or Doll & Yeva!] or want smth completely different, most tend to match tho)
Would be happy to hear everyone else's hcs to maybe add onto this or their thoughts on these!!  --- 🧪

Who are the members of the Arrowfam? I've seen different ppl naming 3 different line ups of characters and I'm so confused by it now lol I come from the Batfam fandom so I'm used to the whole thing of ppl forgetting characters who have not been seen in a while or were not that important but we're still there but is there like a list of every arrowfam member that doesn't forget anyone that should be considered?
okay so i'm gonna link this carrd as part one of the answer
part two is going to be explaining how i think of them
so we have core arrowfam, this is FAMILY family:
Oliver Queen/Green Arrow I
Connor Hawke/Green Arrow II
Roy Harper/Speedy I/Red Arrow I/Arsenal
Lian Harper/Cheshire Cat (it pains me to type that)
Dinah Lance/Black Canary
Mia Dearden/Speedy II
Emiko Queen/Red Arrow II
then we have extended family:
Shado
Eddie Fyers
Jade Nguyen/Cheshire
Hal Jordan/Green Lantern
then even more removed we have the whole Team Arrow schtick, this is a newer thing, all these characters are new 52, its more people who would help in a fight but probably arent gonna get invited to chili night weekly
John Diggle (though he is on the brink of extended family)
Naomi Singh
Henry Fyff (die)
and THEN. THEN. we have the like. not technically family yet (will most likely be inducted into the fam in Green Arrow 2023)
Cissie King-Jones/Arrowette
Sienna/Red Canary
and then forgotten/no longer canon
Robert Queen II (see: popular fandom hc that Emi is trans and was born as robert)
and george the arrowdog my good good boy
also ollie legally adopted a kid named tim north once then he was never seen again so u decide whether u count that

thinking abt the completely opposite styles Arrio and Nathan went for in their suits!!!!!! it tells so freaking much abt their characters and exactly why they tend to have quite a bit of friction!!!
🐺Nathan´s style is techwear (or something similar) he centers himself in functionality as well as protection, his suit is mostly sleek without much extra fabric except in the hood and his pants, which is interesting bc once again, this has a functional purpose!! pants like that provide extra mobility *and* extra space for gadgets, which while being a great fighter, he has to rely heavily on. while the hood, i´d say is one of the more un practical features of his suit (tech + anpther mask is already obscuring his identity, he does *not* need that thing!!), however it´s meaning makes up for it. from purely a character design standpoint, a hood (especially when its up) can be used to tell inmediately a character likes to keep his cards close, not keen on trusting people and more than okay with just fading into the background. but also in Nathan´s case, it parallels Daejung/Jupiter-Man!!! which makes me INSANE!!!! bc not only is his hood so much more ... normal than Jupiter-man´s big and flowy cape, but!!! he´s mirroring his dad (again)!!!! aghh-
🔥okok sorry yall know im more insane abt Nathan by the day, but onto Arrio´s suit analysis!! 3 things of note are: no mask, triple aesthetic influence, weak spots. I absolutely love that arrio contrasts with nathan´s overkill of a mask by wearing absolutely no mask at all!! (<- dumbass move in my opinion but i support it), it makes sense he didnt go for a mask bc his goal was never the superhero secret identity nonsense, even if it were to later grow on him, his core motivation was always to look out for the twins (<- as opposed to Quin, who in a non canon test comic carried arround masks and would jump at the chance to use em).
next part is more me nitpicking arrio´s suit than comparing w nathan´s lol
Triple aesthetic influence: what i mean by this is his suit feels like a combination of streetwear (loose, comfortable jacket, ripped jeans), the default parameters for their super suits (tight black shurts, turtleneck, contrasted with strong pops of color ((as opposed to the girls´ white w pops of color)), and magi type clothes!! <- which i absolutely love btw!!, it can be noticed in his jacket´s high collar, loose wide sleeves, beads on a string w no clear purpose, stripe patterns (reminiscent of his spellbook but way oversimplified) , skull and belt w a good amount of extra fabric!!!
a bunch of these features (specially the belt) arent as streamlined as they could be and that is a c h o i c e , homeboy really increased his number of weakspots that could get snagged or pulled does he even know it??? does he even care ???
as a side note: he and quintin are the only ones with an easily removable part of their outfit (jacket), and theyre the ones most prone to using it!!!! look me in the eyes and tell me they wouldnt absolutely lend them to people if they needed some sort of comfort and protection

my pll core 4 (sometimes +ali/mona) headcanons / somewhat ot4+
-hanna and spencer have popcorn mouth catching competitions and emily and aria get really into it
-anytime one of them experiences a breakup, a car ride blasting their designated breakup playlist is mandatory
-emily always wants to play cards at their sleepovers. her favorite game is jin bc she kicks ass, and kent bc its 4 players
-arias fav is old maid even tho shes like always the old maid at the end lmao
-spencers fav game is spit but one time she literally spit on the cards on instinct since she played the classic way with her dad growing up. emily was so revolted that she doesnt allow spencer to play cards anymore
-hanna literally only knows go fish
-they usually try to fit under one blanket during movie time but it doesnt work out that way
-mostly because hanna complains about being too warm (and then complains about being left out of the group cuddle)
-they went to build a bear together once and all got matching bears in different colors (the brown for spencer, the baby pink for hanna, the baby blue for aria, and the rainbow one for emily because there was no other matching bears besides that one and they found it hilariously ironic)
-hanna gets them all matching pajamas because she and mona used to do that and hanna thinks its just a Part of friendship lol
-actually i think there are a lot of kinda weird things hanna expects in her friendships with them that mona made her think were normal lmaooo ('what do u mean u dont wanna sit in the bathroom and talk to me while i shower?' 'whats so weird about sharing underwear, jeez')
-aria likes painting their nails at sleepover and decorating them and stuff. she goes all out- glitter, little nailpolish sticker things, thin tip brushes to make designs. shes serious about mani pedis
-they have their monday nights dedicated to watching the bachelor. aria is a SUCKER for the bachelorette and hannas biggest dream is to be on bachelor in paradise. spencer and emily pretend to tolerate it but its secretly a guilty pleasure show for them too. mona and ali both somehow always knows whos gonna be in the top 3. mona because shes just that good and ali because she gets spoilers online and pretends shes just that good LOL
-kinda canon but when one of them snaps at another or the rest, no one takes it personally like its so overlooked because their bond takes precedent over anything else
-spencer has a habit of forgetting where her reading glasses are (when theyre on her head) and getting all worked up and screechy about not being able to find it. they do their best not to laugh and when she yells at them that its not funny upon finding them on her head, they just laugh harder
-their cycles are almost always synced. if they arent in need of space from everyone, they watch romcoms and share a bowl of candy salad
-aria occasionally likes playing video games with mike so when theyre at the montgomery house she sometimes convinces the girls to play with her (spencer gets too competitive and SUCKS so she gets rly mad. emily is accidentally a pro at it without trying, and hannas not even trying to follow the objective)
-ok but following the gaming theme, hanna has a wii so they play mario kart at her place and hanna is a MASTER and spencer targets her with shells

this is totally out of nowhere and i know we're kinda over the cacao update now but. FUck it i dont care
mfs really be ignoring the fact that the cacao kingdom is extremely desolate in magic, which is a major part of all other kingdoms/countries/whatever the fuck they are [excluding hb's and probably gc's, but they arent fighters nor in a harsh enviorment so dont really need it] so when affogato comes in they trust him and become reliant on him because he is the ONLY mage they have. the only person with magical knowlege in such a scary, magic-filled war and time. that paired with a sharp toungue is a deadly weapon
they have hundreds of warriors, if not thousands, but only one mage. imagine the power in that
even if his magic is more shamanic and less true magic,,, How are they supposed to know the difference ?
really the only person who would be able to tell is like. DCA [who is reliant on affo already for the support of an advisor and someone to manage the kingdom already and, like, it's better than nothing anyways] and like. Magnolia who is non-canon. other than that? nobody! its a massive powerplay affogato has that nobody brings up, and i think its neat! magic is a core of the cookie run series and i noted how its,, very absent in the cacao kingdom, minus folklore and the cursed swords/sheilds which are probably VERY ancient defenses as far as i can tell. this is DEFINATELY overthinking, but i think its something to take into consideration
[please rb if you found this interesting like i did!] :]

Hi! So feel free to ignore if you want, but I am wondering. I know you arent a big fan of LucieJesse, but what do you think they will look like with the other tlh characters in the future? Who will they be close with? I am interested since you talk about everyone else!
Hmm. Okay!
Well, Lucie is canonically really close with Thomas, and I like that. (I actually don't mind Lucie, I just don't think she's super interesting. But when she's with Thomas, I find her more interesting too because Thomas is my blorbo). I think that Lucie will eventually become close with Alastair anyway as both Thomas's friend and Cordelia's parabatai. I like that. I also think Lucie is obviously very close with James and Cordelia, and she's friends with Matthew too. So that's all good for her. I can't see Lucie losing her friends or anything! They all love her so.
Jesse's more complex imo. I don't think Alastair will be disposed well to him as I said, at least at first. I also think it's hard to tell how everyone else will react to him in the future because they literally knew him for like a week in ChoT. Like, does Matthew have an opinion of him at all? Does Cordelia? Does anyone besides Lucie and James and Grace?
He seems pretty well-integrated into the group by the epilogue, but I don't know. I personally am an advocate for Grace cutting ties with him, but I also understand that canonically Grace is an outcast
In a world where things are right and there is justice, Alastair is going to become close with Grace I think. As such I do not think he is going to be super well-disposed to Jesse. He's a Protective Big Brother; he would definitely disapprove of Jesse's behavior, and I think he'd feel very defensive of Grace. Even if Alastair and Grace weren't close, I'd think this. I think this would even be true if Grace forgave Jesse. Alastair's loyal and slow to trust, and Jesse's a stranger that did a shitty thing that would, for a loyal "sibling-before-everything" Alastair, be a friendship deal-breaker.
But like, I am speaking based on a realistic interpretation of the characters. I am sure that because Cassie likes Jesse, he will be integrated into the group seamlessly.
I think Jesse will regardless (even in a realistic situation) become very close with James because they have similar personalities from what I understand of the personality Jesse is supposed to have. I think Lucie and Jesse will spend a lot of time with James and Cordelia, and they will form a core friend group. But James/Cordelia are also close with Thomastair and Matthew/LI and Arianna, so there's a balance. I think that James and Cordelia will kind of just exist as part of multiple friend groups.
Would you like a diagram of what I think all of the dynamics will look like? lmao

Once again reminding people that even if SKK isn't a canon romantic ship, it is at least a canon partnership with trust and you can't ignore that. The quote goes "The core characterization of Dazai and Chūya's partnership is based on pure trust where both of them are capable of leaving each other's life on the other's hand without a second thought or doubt."
Also canon that they have at least a small understanding of the other's thoughts, as displayed by their fight against Lovecraft and Dead Apple! I'm not saying at all that they're the only right ship, I love Kunidazai, or many other ships with him that arent: Fyozai (nothing wrong with it, I just mildly dislike Fyodor-) Dazaku (abuse, trauma, stuff like that tbh, don't hate on people who do tho) and Odazai (it's just... icky to me-). In my asks I would love for people to tell me more about their ships!

This is all side order spoilers so i will have it under the read more but I'm thinking about this au so bad so I'll talk about it
So like in my very elaborate Splatoon AU story with my OCs who were not originally for splatoon (my original Splatoon OCs aren't really part of this story haha) theres like a plot that takes place after Octo Expansion where the monitor basically is made out of the remnants of commander tartar and it reworks kamabo co for its own purpose so everyone has to stop it from sanitizing everyone. In this plot john + mic get sanitized (and a bunch of other guys do too) so pepper sai rory and jordan have to stop the monitor and save mic and john. So you have that context now let me explain side order au
So like. agent 8 in my Splatoon universe is Ellie (that's the canon story to me) but in this au it would be sai because he's already an octoling and he is always facing the horrors at all times. His main is the tristringer but he could absolutely use (or at least attempt) every pallette, he's very adaptable
Mic and John would be pearl and marina respectively but their dynamic is VERY different. Instead of gay music artists in love they're like just forced to work together, they arent like enemies but they didn't know each other prior to being sanitized and they're still trying to move past the fact that all that happened LMAO
John totally would make the memverse to try and help people who were sanitized especially since he had a really big part in it (unwillingly, but he still feels very guilty)
The monitor would be order / smollusk . obviously. it wants order or something idk I saw artificial intelligence and went YOU. MONITOR CORE plus it would totally throw a fit due to losing its a bitch baby. And it would be SO. COOL. To see it with this black and white / creamish color scheme
Also I cannot get the idea of mic drone out of my mind!!! He would fly around but be so damn annoying to sai /j
Cameron would be acht.... canon wise she would not be a musician, but getting brainwashed to be a musician sounds like something that would exactly happen to her. Maybe some of that sticks with her even after getting her memories back. She would find mic incredibly annoying. Sai not so much. she wouldn't have a pre-established bond with john bc they wouldn't know each other (I'd say well maybe they were in the octarian army together, but she's considerably younger than him so??? And also I wanted John to be from splatsville and not octo valley so 🤷‍♀️) BUT I think that they would respect each other
Sorry just. Imagining the marina boss fight with john GRRRRGRGGRGRRRGRGRGRGRGRG

okay anon this is for you in response to what you sent me
the core of the show is katara/aang/ i specially made this blog due to all the takes of katara had zero romantic interest in aang the thing is some people will never be convinced katara had a romantic interest in aang .. no matter how much canon proves otherwise they'll call it ooc/ out of nowhere ... theres no point in arguing about it they will just not agree and see her as his mother even when she herself hated the idea of being viewed as team mom just take solace in knowing that their takes just arent true and canon katara does indeed love aang

Could you expand on why you don't like fanon Deku? It also annoys me but I'm just curious what your personal reasons are!
yes i can expand! i have a LOT of issues with fanon deku. and just a warning this is going to get harsh so PLEASE respect my opinion and if you like fanon deku do yourself a favor and scroll past this instead of starting hate or hurting yourself. i respect your opinion and if you love fanon deku i would not go under your post and start hate, so don't do it to me. let's just respect each other around here. thank you
ok opinions under the cut!
the way i see izuku represented in fanon is as this guy who started off all stuttery and genuine and then becomes sassy and sarcastic and like even flirtatious?? i see all kinds of deku interpretations where he sleeps around and the "confident midoriya izuku" tag is used when izuku decides to just insult bkg back in a fic rather than standing up for himself in the way he usually does. or sassy izuku will just talk back to everyone and become like this completely different main character. i see it a lot in some bkdk fics where people strip izuku of his genuine-ness and sincerity and take out izuku's canon admiration of bkg and turn their relationship into arguing and bantering and izuku just whipping sarcasm at bkg every time he says something. and don't get me wrong, i LOVE bkdk banter! i love the idea of izuku talking back to bkg and them being able to have playful arguments and witty comebacks but some of the stuff I've seen is just not izuku anymore. and that's my biggest issue, fanon izuku isn't izuku.
izuku is canonically not that kind of sarcastic and sassy person. every once in a while he has retorts as most people do and that's just a normal thing. but for the most part he's such a genuine person. he's sweet and kind and just wants to be unapologetically himself and fanon interpretations of him just entirely change that. i personally hate the usage of "confident midoriya izuku" tags when it's literally just him being more sarcastic and talking back to everyone. like...first of all izuku is confident. canon izuku is confident and he is strong and he is assertive. just because he doesn't do it using sarcasm and snapping at everyone doesn't mean he isn't doing it. izuku's first appearance on the show is him standing up to katsuki in the way izuku does it - sincerity. he's honest and he's kind and that's the kind of confident izuku is, he knows if something is wrong and he will not back down until he is heard. and he gets people to listen with genuine words and getting to the point. just because he isn't being sassy about it doesn't mean he isn't confident or assertive.
not to mention how fanon izuku is entirely stripped of his kindness and his open admiration for the people he loves and his genuine personality. and he also just stops crying. which is stupid. just because someone cries a lot doesn't mean they arent strong or not confident?? izuku is izuku because of how he still freaks out a little every time he sees all might. the "kacchan's amazing" and the mumbling and writing in a notebook and the kindness he shows to all of his friends that isn't hidden behind sarcasm or shows of strength, these are what makes izuku. fanon tries to make izuku into some sarcastic fuckboy who's confident because he doesn't cry and he no longer openly admires his friends and he suddenly decides to be an asshole to people who are assholes to him instead of showing them understanding. it's taking away the core values of what makes izuku izuku and turning him into the badass dudebro main character people think he should be.
but izuku isn't a flirtatious guy, he gets a little flustered and blushy. people think izuku is gonna grow out of that and become some flirt, but in recent manga chapters he's grown past that and as his fluster grows off does he become a flirt? no! he just becomes even more genuine, showering uraraka in compliments rather than becoming a wordless mess. that's izuku's true character growth. people want izuku to become sarcastic and witty and talk back to bakugou as izuku becomes more confident, but does he? no, he doesn't. izuku's admiration for bakugou doesn't waver. they continue to train together and offer each other advice and izuku continues to be genuine with his praise and his feedback. even as izuku becomes more jaded and more upset with the world his sincerity and kindness and empathy stays with him. his respect for all might stays with him despite his mentor's flaws and mistakes because izuku is forgiving and understanding and empathetic. and there's nothing wrong with that.
there's nothing wrong with izuku being someone who cries when he's emotional and responds to bullies by trying to understand them while also standing up to them, and empathizing with villains and forgiving those who have wronged him. there's nothing wrong with canon izuku who isn't sarcastic or sassy, but instead genuine and kind and sincere and so open with his words of affirmation and so generous with his love. canon izuku is confident, he is strong and assertive and he stands up for himself and has never been a pushover. izuku will never become a sassy flirt who kills villains and punches bkg in the face and insults him for no reason because izuku is not like the people who have hurt him. izuku is stronger than them because he is kind and because he is loving and forgiving. i wish people would realize there is nothing wrong with izuku openly admiring and loving all might and kacchan and being kind to his friends and genuine to everyone and understanding towards villains. izuku is soft and izuku is sweet and izuku is good and izuku cries and smiles and loves. and izuku is strong and confident and stands up for himself and loves. izuku is so loving, it's what makes his core values and what makes izuku deku, what makes deku izuku, and i wish people just understood that. izuku is perfect the way he is in canon. he is strong and he is confident and that's because he's genuine and kind.
i love izuku so so much he's beautiful and loving and genuine and sweet and kind and he's soft and he cries and he's badass and he's strong and confident and he will beat your ass and go feral but he will also tend to your wounds and forgive you after the battle. unless it's overhaul or endeavor because obviously he draws the line at abusers.
but i digress. i love and adore izuku so much and he is amazing the way he is. his core values are his love and kindness and empathy and great capacity for forgiveness. don't take that away from him.
it sounds so cheesy but i swear it's true,
izuku is strong because he loves and he loves because he's strong.
