The side quest I forgot to finish

Okay so after the whole Warp fiasco.

There was this guy at an auto body shop in Agridulce.

I bring this up because I was actually involved in a side quest with him.

He wanted to try out new energy sources for his vehicle.

Well guess who found out that I forgot about this quest.

Mario and my Mom.

So for today's training, I had to do a mini globetrotting adventure again.

Collect a few different power sources for this guy.

Shine.

Solar power seemed easy enough. It was just some simple swimming challenge. I would have done it in Delfino Island if I had gone there during Warp Point. I'm going to be honest I'm glad that I can swim without an air meter or anything. I think it's the same reason why I can breathe in space.

Merkite Stone:

I have to head back into the caverns to get this one. It was a simple enough task, the hard part was actually trying to get the Merkite out of the cave. I ended up just paying some goomba to dig it out.

A jar of cosmic pitch:

I had to spend 5,000 coins on this on the off chance that it would work.

I'm not saying where i bought it.

And then I punched that guy in the face and ran off.

This one was more of a giggle rather than any actual seriousness. I found it in a trash can next to the box I found the power star in.

And so I brought everything to the guy to see what worked.

And to my surprise, nothing.

Then Mom and Mario said the lesson about peerseverance and all that stuff.

And then I wrote this.

Tidbits from my Dead Darlings doc. No spoilers here. All tidbits are from an entire subplot that I cut very early and all names and identifying details have been redacted.

Apparently, such were the times in which [redacted] was living. People kept all manner of useless things in their homes. Shelves with books they didn’t read. Baskets whose sole purpose was to display knick-knacks. And, apparently, time pieces that did not actually keep time.

Or this little bit of dialogue:

“[Redacted]! How can you not know this?!” [Redacted does a highly specific motion I cannot include]. [Redacted] groans. “[Redacted pet name that should not be a pet name but for some reason is and must also be scratched], what am I going to do with you?” “Love me anyway, I imagine.” [Everything after this point definitely needs to be redacted...]

Baz could make this difficult. He could wait for the boy to hit on him some more. To ask him his name or if he’d like to have dinner. But, Baz is feeling rather lonely after his unsuccessful hunt for a one-night stand yesterday and this boy can be good enough. So, he takes a step closer and lifts the boy’s chin with a careful finger instead. The boy’s eyes meet his immediately, which is precisely what Baz wanted. The whole scene sets off another round of barking from the tiny dog. “Take me home with you,” Baz whispers.

Finally making a proper post.

Hello, it's been awhile. I think in my last post (not a reblog) I had mentioned not having a six sentence/wip post as I was burnt out and behind on Baz to The Past. I hadn't intended for the burn out to take so long, maybe take a break for a week or two and then get back to it, but I was working to jobs, having mental break downs and stopped going on tumblr at all. Well, I ended up losing my main job, got severely depressed and had the holidays and such, but that's all done and I had time to take care of my mental health so I'm back. Don't know if people notice me reblogging again but I started getting back into tumblr and even started drawing again which I haven't done in almost three years (which was a shame as I put ART in my username for a reason and then never shared anything) and used that momentum to get my creativity going again. Which leads me to what everyone's probably been waiting for, I am working on Baz to The Past again, I don't know when chapter 4 will be up but it isn't abandoned and will be completed.

That's pretty much all I wanted to say, I'm happy to be doing well and be returning to the Fandom after an apparently much needed break. Under the cut will be the art works I've been working on and a link to Baz to The Past for anybody interested or wants a re-read while they wait for the next upload.

This was the first piece I did just to get into the flow of things again. I used a random reference off of pinterest as I really liked the contrast.

Unfortunately tumblr won't let me add the video for this one but this is a current wip of mine. Again just another reference from pinterest I thought looked neat. If people are interested I can share the time-lapse video of it once I finish it (if I finish it lol)

The full story.

Okay. I realized that everyone might be curious about what happened. So I thought I could give the full recap on the major events happening.

I woke up in the morning and got ready.

It was the beginning of the SUPER Centenial.

I had just finished training with Mario.

Just some standard platforming.

Weapon practice with the fire flower gloves.

Checking in on Egad on his special new project due to the weird warp energy signals (something I thought I didn't have to worry about)

Then I just spent my day exploring the festival until the evening where I was at the end of the beginning of the festival.

We gave a speech. we had fun. Then things calm down and I went to bed.

That's when crap started to happen.

I woke up to a giant massive colossal Panko Quake.

Not the best alarm clock I know.

But when I went outside. I found out that was the beginning of my problems.

A giant Warp was created. And there was no pipe or anything surrounding it.

It was crazy.

But the weird thing is it was a bunch of humans in uniforms scanning and surveying all of Castle town.

It didn't look like they were trying to harm anyone. Though some people did feel uncomfortable when they were being checked for things like radiation or other stuff.

Then (thank goodness), Warp org sent over damage control.

Also general guy came in to help out.

Damage Control were responsible for cleaning up any massive threats involving warp energy and cosmic pitch.

Cosmic Pitch sort of the substance that makes up a lot of powerful substances.

Like power stars or warps or gravity crystals.

Point is. This stuff is serious business.

Warp control sent over a bunch of people to try and deal with a giant Warp.

There was obviously some conflict between these American soldiers and warp orgs Damage Control.

It's common knowledge that people from Earth can't know about the Mushroom Kingdom. At least to an extent that it's real.

Just as soon as they were trying to Coral all the soldiers.

There was this line That shook everyone

"this is being aired live across Earth"

my biggest migraine trigger is sound instead of visuals usually anyways, most things that trigger epileptics will set off migraines for me. thsi is why i can just simply not wear my glasses 👍
