So I got a theory as to why Alucard went from this in the original show:

We’re shown in the first show that Alucard ages more or less like a human except much faster but even as an adult he’s still looks more like Lisa than Vlad. Well my theory is that eventually his human aging got to a point where he “died” and took on more of a vampiric appearance. Hence why his hair is white like an old man and why his skin is ghostly white like his dad’s.

Yes! I'm sorry I haven't been drawing him a lot lately. But he's always on my mind and I actually have all his backstory written down.

Here, a little sneak peek at when he was arrested by Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary, and then later on was sacrificed to a bat demon (Barbatos? Maybe. Not sure about its name yet). He survived and fought the demon but was bitten which caused his transformation into a vampire.

My favourite thing about the original Young Dracula show is that the Count and his kids are so obviously unusual (yes even Vlad) yet so many of the characters are just like “aren’t our neighbours nice ☺️”

Like the people who do realise they’re weird are like looking at everyone thinking what the hell is going on and everyone else is like “That’s Mr Count and his children they’re so interesting!”
