6 Importance of Earnings Reports in Stock Analysis
Tumblr media
Financial Health Assessment:
Earnings reports allow investors to assess a company's financial health by providing detailed information on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Key financial metrics like net income, gross margin, and operating margin are disclosed, helping investors gauge the company's overall financial stability.
Earnings Per Share (EPS):
EPS is a critical metric that indicates a company's profitability on a per-share basis. Investors use EPS to evaluate the company's ability to generate profits and its potential for future growth.
Positive growth in EPS over time is often seen as a positive indicator for investors.
Revenue Growth:
Earnings reports reveal the company's revenue figures, allowing investors to assess the growth or decline in sales.
Consistent revenue growth can be a positive sign, indicating a healthy and expanding business.
Guidance and Outlook:
Many earnings reports include guidance and projections for future performance. This information is crucial for investors as it helps them make informed decisions about the company's future prospects.
Positive guidance can boost investor confidence, while negative outlooks may lead to selling pressure.
Market Expectations and Reactions:
Earnings reports provide an opportunity for companies to either meet, exceed, or fall short of market expectations.
Market reactions to earnings reports can significantly impact stock prices. A company that surpasses expectations may experience a surge in its stock price, while missing expectations can lead to a decline.
Investor Sentiment and Confidence:
Earnings reports influence investor sentiment and confidence in a particular stock or the overall market.
Positive earnings reports can instill confidence in investors, attracting new buyers and potentially driving up the stock price. Conversely, disappointing reports may lead to a decline in confidence and sell-offs.
In summary, earnings reports are a fundamental aspect of stock analysis, providing a comprehensive overview of a company's financial performance. Investors use this information to make informed decisions, assess the company's growth potential, and understand its position in the market. Keeping a close eye on earnings reports is a crucial component of successful stock market analysis.

Okay, I've finally made a list of most of my Sleep Token lore and analysis posts! Divided by categories under the cut, with improvised titles and brief descriptions for each.
Posts are listed in reverse-chronological order per category, except for crossovers.
The catch-all hashtag for these is #aqua's offerings, in case you prefer to look through them that way.
Longer Form Posts:
Duck Into Deep Blue Safety - Comparing the composition of Drag Me Under, Atlantic, and Fall For Me as to how solos are used to describe physical isolation, separation, and the spectrum bridging spiritual wholeness and estrangement.
Show Me What Wounds You've Got - On begging, emotional vulnerability, and our agency as audience and character.
If a Man Falls, and Nobody's There to Hear Him... - An addition-by-reblog to this post by @melit0n about Fall For Me, continuing the exploration of silence and vocals and the implications of Vessel's isolation and actions in the song.
So He Gets To Die A Saint - Martyrdom and the desire to save and be saved, but the uncertainty of who is saving who, and to what end.
Something Was Between You and I My Dear - Musings on the theory posited by @a-s-levynn that separates Vessel as his masked self and as his unmasked self into two separate characters, and what that means for a potential reading of the events of the trilogy, particularly its ending.
I Would Turn Into A Stranger In An Instant if I Could - A deep dive into DYWTYLM with themes of identity loss and the effects of a long-term yet one-sided relationship.
Flood Me Like Atlantic - An examination of the metaphor of being dragged into and under someone's love throughout the course of the discography, and how it reflects in the shifting characterization of both Vessel and the character being sung about.
Would You Invite Me In Again? - A look at cycles of union and disconnect, of love as a melding of body and soul in addition to a rending of body and soul, and the cyclical nature of this dichotomy, primarily through the lens of Drag Me Under and Blood Sport.
So Let's Play - A look into how the language of games and winners and losers is used and evolves throughout their discography.
With My Love as Your Garden - Exploring the lyrics regarding flowers and gardens, of upkeep and of fire, and how it relates to the relationship between Vessel and his lover, described here as Sleep.
Welcome Me In, Deep Into You - Side-by-side examination of Vore and Drag Me Under and their language as it pertains to consumption and consummation, and the respective tones those carry.
Drag Me Under AGAAAAAIN - An addendum to my second Sleep Token x TDH crossover post (linked further below) that brings Drag Me Under into the fold of Atlantic and Telomeres, as requested by @moonchild-in-blue. Elaborates further on the entwining of Vessel and Sleep, of their love and the idea of inevitability.
Duet - Proposing and elaborating on the concept of the song Give being a duet between Vessel and Sleep with alternating POVs.
Other Other Eye - A look at Ascensionism, particularly the lines regarding eyes and attention and conflicting desire. [note: written very early into my posting theory/analysis, somewhat outdated]
Catching a Falling Knife - Using the metaphor of "catching a falling knife" and the general stock market as lens to examine the power dynamics between Vessel and Sleep.
Mini Musings:
Rain Can't Wash Away the Tar on the Inside - Consideration of the lyrics implying Vessel has been trapped by tar and subsumed in it both from the outside and from within.
Keep an Eye on the Road - A quick talk about visuals of crashing cars and mentions of various roadways, and being trapped in untenable situations.
The Vicious Cycle - Cycles and the breaking thereof within the discography.
My Puppet Queen - The dehumanizing language used towards Vessel, specifically as a toy or object.
Glitches in the Code - Considers Vessel as a literal algorithm, and how that reflects in his vocals and degeneration throughout the narrative and what it would say about his relationship with Sleep.
Mirror Talk - Notes on mirrors and both outer and inner reflections.
Are You Watching Me? - Different ways eyes are described as it relates to prey and predation, and Vessel struggling with human nature and humanity.
A Different Harbor - Musing on the peculiar use and otherwise of language regarding boats, harbors, and anchors.
You Want Someone To Be - Concept post about a more literal take on lovers entwined, to both want to become the other, and the loss of understanding of what it means to be yourself without them.
Crossovers:
TDH x Sleep Token #1 - Love as a crashing wave, questions of fate, choosing love despite the clear doomed nature, using The Dear Hunter's Waves as a frame of reference.
TDH x Sleep Token #2 - Uses The Dear Hunter's Vital Vessels Vindicate as a lens to provide a different perspective through which to examine Vessel, death, and what it means to choke and suffocate underwater.

I like to headcanon that the humanity we see in ME is a humanity who worked their shit out mostly, solved most of our internal issues, and is actively trying to improve and wants to see the other species improve too. Humanity isn’t perfect of course, but we know that (which is arguably one of our strengths, knowing full well we ain’t shit, but that’s another discussion). Because of that I think humans caused a social shift in the non-humans at some point, especially within the council races ESPECIALLY in turian society.
At first the reaction is “nosy humans, mind your business” but after a while I can see some of the aliens realize that “dammit, the humans are right.” Humans are the youngest species but we have lived many lives, we know their struggles, we know their problems by heart, because we lived them too, and we don’t want to see what happened to us happen to the rest of the galaxy.
More turians start asking why it is they’re forced to serve in the military, asari start to unpack their superiority complex they didn’t know they had, salarians start to realize the long term consequences of their short term solutions. Maybe EVERYONE starts to really question why there only three/four councilors and why exactly no one else is allowed in their special club. And the humans in the background watching and cheering because YES BESTIE, START ASKING QUESTIONS!
Humans are easily misunderstood and casted aside Because of how young of a species we are. I mean we've only started recording history what 2000 years ago? That's two Asari generations.
But they forget how much we have fucked around and found out during these 2000 years. All the dumb decisions we have made, all the wars we started, all the near world endings we've evaded by a coin toss.
It never was a matter of if we accidentally lead the homosapiens to extinction, it was always a matter of when.
All the inventions that had the slightest possibility of unleashing a flesh eating bacteria or setting the atmosphere on fire were proceeded nonetheless. All the times we flew too close to the sun with no regard to the wax scorching our skin.
But. We. Persist. Like an annoying roach, we are invasive and can't help but poke our noses where we don't belong just because we are hardwired to be problem solvers. And if there are no problems left? We create some just to solve it!
We easily spot the faults in turian society because we have been through it! We have records of Rome and their great empire which crumbled beneath its own weight, we have records of military centric societies losing sight of their purposes and turning against their own civilians.
We have been through it, and it sucks and we hate it, and we wish they'd just listen to us.
Don't even get me started on the asari and how their superiority complex blinds them so much that they actually rationalised SLAVERY. Humanity's biggest shame and regret. Not only did they enslave the vorcha who can't argue with a proper case against the asari because of their limited 20 years lifespan, but they've reached the level of capitalism hell that they started selling people to work of their debts. Making excuses as if not debriving them of basic respect, food and shelter justifies trading an actual living person's soul to the highest company bidder akin to stock at a sheep market.
Their entire justice system is built on lawyers taking advantage of loopholes, birbes and blackmail. They're living the dystopian cautionary tales every human was told and selling it as the most glamourise life of the advanced civilisation that the rest of the galaxy should all strive for.
Not to mention how their government activity ereased the prothean's interference in their early stages and rewrote history for it to be some asari goddess just to sell their propaganda more that they are born inherently better than the other races whilst also NEEDING us for a diverse genetic sequences in reproduction. Shaming for being lesser than them whilst using us to make more asari.
Or the salarians who narrowed the purpose of existence to birth work then death, who against all the braincells they manged to hoard failed to see how they were so concered with getting as much productiveness out of their short lives that they actually forgot to live the said lives.
The hanar who focused too much on spirituality and left no room for the mortal flaw to exist. Who isolated themselves in feverish reverence to worship their stone statues of past dead species while pretending a world outside isn't being built and almost within reach of the same capabilities of their so proclaimed gods. Who deemed others too ignorant or rude to deal with, who's only interaction with others are to educate their barbarian ways and show them the true meaning of life that they decided without consulting any other race.
IT'S A FUCKING CIRCUS SHOW.
HISTORY IS A FLAT FUCKING CIRCLE.
A PARADE OF HUMANITY'S MOST HORRIFIC DYSTOPIAS MASQUERADING AS THE PRIMA DONNA OF EDENS.
WHAT THE FUCK.
Tumblr media
Aliens are in fact just like us.
Because they are rolling in the same mud puddles as us.
The shitstorm just happened to reach us before we could reach the stars.
While they're still flinging mudballs onto each other's faces and calling us the apes.
Having run out of my cynical juice tho, I think we at least will get the chance to play heros in this scenario.
Welcome any alien who decided to diverge from the norm of their society standards amidst our ranks and into our homes. Encouraging our turian friends to have dreams and hopes outside of war and country service, allowing our asari friends to be flawed mortals and calling them out on their mistakes without antagonising them, showing salarians how beautifully love is and there is more to marriage or starting a family than simple reproduction values.
It is funny how Korgans are essentially the least flawed and most civilised in comparison to the rest of the galaxy who shunned them for being savages.
I hope our invasive nature infects them, our songs about dreams and passion to move them, our continous persistent that they deserve so much more, that life could be so much better, that the world is bigger than their government lead them to believe would get them to glance outside their aluminium glided cages and wonder if apes were onto something.

the ace foundation proudly presents its prestigious masquerade ball. this is a highly exclusive, annually held black tie event dedicated to enhancing corporate ethics and promoting transparent business practices. in line with the masquerade theme, the event symbolizes its attendees’ commitment to openness and integrity in the corporate world. invitations have historically been reserved for distinguished figures such as top executives, influential entrepreneurs, and key decision makers of well-established businesses on the stock market. yang byeol, the heir of the yang family and 2013 queen of the king’s club, oversees the guest list. below is the itinerary for the ace foundation’s 2024 masquerade:

8.00pm  a six-course dinner is served.
9.30pm  silent auction featuring donated artwork by renowned artists. proceeds will fund initiatives aimed at promoting corporate ethics and transparent business practices.
10.30pm  dancing, live entertainment, and networking. at 11.00pm, the 2013 chessmasters lure all canons into a room away from the masses to inform them to lay low and not cooperate with the police.

12.30am  departure.
Tumblr media
event details  by now, you should have received a voicemail from the police in your inbox. this voicemail would have gone out to all canons on 12 august, 2024, approximately three weeks after the private dinner gathering on jeju island. the news regarding the reopening of noh hyungseo’s case was broadcasted across all news channels on 14 august, 2024, the same day each canon would have received a hasty invitation to the masquerade ball held by the ace foundation. the masquerade ball is scheduled on 17 august, 2024, the weekend before police are expecting to hold voluntary interviews as specified in the voicemail, in the week of 19 august, 2024. the bulk of this event will be set in the masquerade ball, but you may explore the events leading up to this! additionally, there will be a plot drop posted next week, on 1 september, 8pm pst. in-character, this plot drop is set within the dancing, live entertainment, and networking section of the event between 10.30pm to midnight, so please refrain from exploring anything definitive past this point in threads.
voicemail and masquerade invitation  you are free to respond to the police voicemail with headcanons or any character reactions you might want to explore, but this is entirely optional! you are not required to post these voicemails on the dash. with regards to the masquerade, invitations to this ball have historically been reserved for the most influential figures in the business sector, so it is likely that a lot of your muses may never have received an invitation before this! if this is the case, it would be obvious that a hasty invitation to this ball signifies something deeper and given the host, something potentially related to the club. alternatively, you are also welcomed to headcanon that your muses have been invited to this ball in previous years and thus, may be unaware of the gravity of this invite. in saying so, please consider the context of this ball, the exclusive nature of the invitations, and if this aligns with your character’s background. per the itinerary, all masks should be on at the time of arrival, allowing for some room for anonymity between members. there will be an unveiling ceremony at 12am!
ooc info  this is the second half of the two-part event — this part is set in 2024. please tag all posts as #cm:breaking. all event starters, including part one set in 2016, may be posted up until 8 september, 8pm pst and should be wrapped up by 22 september, 8pm pst. participation is optional, though it is understood that your muses would have been present at this event. expect a plot drop next week, on 1 september, 8pm pst!

Hello, it's me again! I'm the one who sent you question about 'which captain are married'. Your answer was really genius, I read it thoroughly though it's just your headcanon 😂 Just adding some information, believe it or not in this damn Bleach Jet interview there's also one question frankly asking 'Do you have any details about Shinigami's income? Like their monthly salary, allowances, etc'. (Which I thought this as a very hilarious question because 'WHY SO RANDOM??' 😂). Then you know, Kubo gave a very detail information, including the nominals of the salary and how each captain had their own mansion as an allowance. Just like a normal company. I'm pretty sure they also manage anything regarding bereave or insurance lol. I'm just curious which Squad is responsible for accounting and finance. Or they probably have their own financial divisions outside of Gotei 13? Well never thought about it before 😂
THE SALARY THING IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PARATEXTS LOL. Who would want that information, you ask? The target audience is VERY much us. I legit think it's one of the first things I looked up when we were first returning to Bleach. Bleach fills the workplace drama space on my dance card; of course I wanna know what the payscale is!
Each division is probably responsible for tracking its own finances and submitting them to Central 46 as the Soul Society equivalent of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service, for non-USians). Yumichika, for example, definitely does the books for 11th. No one else in that division has even ever seen such a book.
What I wanna know is how the budget proposal process works. Prior to the start of each fiscal term, does each Division submit their past and proposed budgets? Do they go straight to the 46 for closed-door deliberations/rulings, or does a version also need to be reviewed and passed at a captain's meeting before heading up to 46? I ask this because I think it would be absolutely torturous for them to sit through such a meeting, which naturally means I want them to have to.
I don't know what the citation is for this, but the Bleach Wiki mentions that captain's meeting decisions are made unanimously. I feel like that can't possibly be true, unless a unilateral "well, Yamamoto said so" counts as "unanimous" (though the AU where the Gotei is committed to an anarchist governance style is also appealing to me, LOL). But imagine a captain's meeting where they had 13 budgets to review and pass: There's a Q&A period. Each captain has a time-limited amount of time to suggest friendly or unfriendly amendments and/or to plead their case about whether the budget should pass or fail. You can yield time to other captains, or move to extend time (though this then also has to be voted on by all the captains in attendance). Speaking from personal experience, this process can take literal days. Just imagine. IT'S HORRIBLE I LOVE IT.
Other things I wonder (under the cut):
-- What factors determine what the Gotei's overall operating budget is? Are they fully funded by the noble houses? Do they accrue wealth by any other means? How does the Soul Society macroeconomy even work.
– What’s the deal with this mansion that each captain gets? Where are these mansions located? Is it like the White House, and there’s a bunch of historical rooms with names like The Sakura Sitting Room? Is there a hallway with portraits of all the past captains that you have to walk past every morning on your way out the door? Even better, what if they don’t each get a whole mansion, but only a wing of a mansion? Then they all have to live together, Big Brother style. Central 46 is always watching.
-- Does the Gotei have an endowment? Have they invested in the Tokyo Stock Exchange? What about the Rukongai Rice Futures Market?
-- Are there ever special funds/one-time line items that need to be voted on? Was post-TYBW reconstruction back-burnered until the next fiscal year because they Had to Do the Budget First because their extant emergency response funds got exhausted after the FIRST invasion?
-- Are the Divisions automatically funded equally, or if they write a really good budget proposal can they be awarded more money? Is the only way to get more money to officially declare and register a specialty with the Central 46 Office of Division Specialties, like the 9th and Seireitei Communications, and the 12th's lab budgets? Outside of the regular budget allocation periods, are there earmarked funds/grants to which divisions can apply separately? Are you only allowed to take state money, or can you apply for grant-type arrangements with noble houses or non-Gotei entities? What about gift funds?
-- Why are damages from the captain's personal salary and not the division budget? Did someone just tell Komamura and Hitsugaya this, but it's not actually true and they're the only ones who think this? Or does this suggest that the budgeting within the Gotei actually has no procedure and nothing is actually funded at all, because none of the founding members considered that a military organization represents an operational scale that does not actually translate 1:1 with an individual's personal finances??
-- Regarding individual salaries: Do people get annual raises even if their position stays the same? Like, if you're an unseated shinigami for 500 years are you paid the same on Day 1 as on Day 182,625?
-- How do people pick up their salaries? Is there a physical paycheck? Cash monies? Credits? Is the currency the same in the Seireitei as in Rukongai (is it used EVERYWHERE in Rukongai, by every one)? Rukia using credits on her phone from Living World-side bounties, so some portion of their commerce is digital… but is that only in Living World lol.

Domestic life with the Lyoko Warriors
Tumblr media
Note: All characters are aged up. Also, all of these imagines are happening in the same universe. Which means that Aelita's partner, Jeremie's partner, and every other Lyoko warrior and their partner, have met up. For the sake of writing for them individually, I've decided that Jeremie-Aelita and Ulrich-Yumi are not couples.
Headcanon about how mostly-general and domestic life with the Lyoko Warriors would be. I'm writing this with a gender-neutral reader in mind.
Aelia Schaeffer:
Post Lyoko and post college, where she was definitely a Computer Science major, Aelita meets you in her classes with Jeremie. The two of you hit it off pretty quickly, being interested in music and computers, and she finds your presence to be refreshing. Of course, she loves the Lyoko gang -- they're family! But, meeting someone new, and away from all that chaos just brings so many new things, new perspectives of life, and she's there for it.
For the sake of writing for Aelita, let's say that she and Jeremie broke up at the end of freshman year in college, because Jeremie's concern for her -- however heart-warming and welcome -- got overbearing and she felt as though she was just an object to be constantly fretted over. So, she called off their relationship and things were just weird between the two of them for a while after that.
It is during this while that Aelita grows closer to you, and finds herself falling head over heels for you within the next six months. But, it takes her until the middle of senior year -- after she's got things sorted out with Jeremie, and then you meeting all her other friends and them giving her approval, and then her meeting all your friends -- that she confesses to you, only to find that you've felt the same way about her all along!
The two of you move in together after college, with you working and her immediately applying for a masters degree in Artificial Intelligence.
Domestic life with Aelita:
Out of the two of you, you're the more domestic person.
Of course, Aelita is an angel, but she has no experience keeping a home.
By the way, I don't think Aelita would have told you about Lyoko -- as much as she's excited for the new life she's got with you, she wants to keep that part to herself. You know about her parents passing away and how much of a help her friends have been, but not a single bit about Lyoko.
Aelita helps with the cleaning, once you show her the ropes, but you're the one who cooks and buys groceries. Our little angel tags along, but it takes her about two extra years before she's even got the basics of cooking down.
You love listening to Aelita's remixes. They're always playing somewhere in your house, regardless of whether people are there or if it's just the two of you. You're her hype buddy -- her music is your ringtone and everything.
While Aelita does her masters, you're the sole breadwinner, and Aelita's royalties from her published music also contribute to finances.
Aelita's great at coming up with budgets. She's also a savvy when it comes to stock markets and investments. You're so in awe.
Aelita loves giving you back hugs when you're doing the dishes! If you're about her height, she would press kisses to your neck. If you're taller, she would nuzzle into your back, and if you're shorter, she would rest her chin on your head.
You eventually trust Aelita more with cooking as time goes on, and you get hearts in your eyes when you watch her prepare simple meals with an apron on.
Besides her own music, the two of you dance to Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift music as well.
With regards to cuddling, AELITA IS A HUGE CUDDLEBUG. She loves cuddling with you and would do it forever if she could.
You feel the same way.
Watching TV? Cuddle! Doing dishes? Cuddle! Standing together in an elevator? Cuddle!
Weirdly enough, Aelita might like being the big spoon more than the little spoon! She just likes hugging/holding on to you in any form.
Aelita has a lot of PTSD. You figure that out early on, and even though you don't know much about Lyoko, or anything, you're a huge comfort to her. You always know the right things to do, and even if you don't, you're willing to learn, and she falls in love with you all over again.
You have friends from school come over, and so does she (and eventually with their partners too)! Both sets of friends love the other person immediately (except Jeremie, for whom it took a while to warm up to you, considering how he used to date Aelita).
Odd is Aelita's cousin (according to the stuff they had to tell at Kadic Academy), so Odd is what you consider to be Aelita's family equivalent.
You introduced Aelita to your parents within a year of living together, and your mother pulled you over and nearly demanded you to propose to her that instant cuz your family was blown away by Aelita!
Your parents might have mailed over the ancestral family ring to you about a week later
But you two are all about just living your best cozy life.
After Aelita's masters, she probably starts work as a Reserach and Development Engineer in AI and she also contributes a lot more to your shared income.
That's when you think about the next stages of your life.
You might have brought out said ancestral family ring and she definitely said yes
Jeremie Belpois:
Same as Aelita's story. Jeremie and Aelita break up in freshman year of college. Both of them are doing computer science.
Jeremie sulks around for a while after the break up, and that's when Odd offers to set him up with someone. The first person was ridiculous, and so was the second and third, and Jeremie nearly gives up hope and resigns to a life without a life partner.
And then, one day, while he sees Aelita hanging out with her new significant other, he sulks and goes to a random cafe and orders a whiskey.
That's when he meets you.
You work part-time in that cafe to have a little extra cash in hand while you study. You're a year younger than him and you study in a different university/college, but something about you gives Jeremie the kind of butterflies that he hadn't felt -- for a while now -- even with Aelita. The more and more he gets to know you, with your sickeningly sweet smile, the more and more he falls, but he wants to see how well the two of you work as friends, first.
You definitely are into him too. Blonde, glasses, and the way he knew everything about everything was a huge turn on for you.
It's only after he graduates and gets a research fellowship in his university that he confesses and asks you out. The two of you start dating, and two months in, you need to find a new place and that's when Mr. Belpois just goes, "Why not move in with me?"
Domestic life with Jeremie:
Moving in two months into a relationship was definitely a first for both of you.
His own friends were very skeptical. Like, they knew that you've known him throughout your whole college life, but you've only just started dating, and it's weird, in Ulrich's thoughts, to move in with your partner of two months, but Jeremie found that he couldn't care less.
Jeremie, after his breakup with Aelita, has had a lot of time to think things over. His perception of certain things have changed, and he's a slightly reinvented version of himself.
Also, equally weirdly, Aelita is the first person to come to Jeremie's defense and say, "It's not weird that he's moving in with someone if he feels that it isn't weird!"
Coming back to you and Jeremie.
In my mind, Jeremie's new partner is someone who isn't from a tech background. I imagine that someone with a literature degree of sorts would also match up with him.
You want to publish your own writing one day.
And Jeremie's very supportive of that!
Coming to your dynamic, Jeremie earns more than you, owing to his affliation to tech, while you're a literature graduate who's getting short stories and news articles out. You also freelance, so on the whole, your income isn't fixed.
There have definitely been some misunderstandings between the two of you because of the money, but you work on it. Plus, Jeremie is very supportive of you and just loves you.
Jeremie's love language is always being able to help you in some way. You're searching for your scarf? He knows where it is. Your spacebar key is faulty? He can fix that for you. You want someone to offer feedback on your work? Jeremie will do it.
As for you, you're very physically affectionate. Hugs, cheek kisses, neck kisses, throwing Jeremie's glasses away while you climb on his lap for a makeout session. It takes him a while to get used to it, but he's not complaining.
Odd can't believe that Jeremie's intimate life is far more developed than his own.
He's told you about Aelita, of course, so you're happy to let him work that situation out on his own. You're sweet to Aelita, her partner, and the rest of his friends and he loves it!
The first time they hosted a get-together after moving in, he saw how sweet and affectionate you were with his friends and decided right then and there that you were the one.
You love cooking! You're an amazing cook, and that won over not only Jeremie, but also all of his friends, and their partners!
So you guys host dinner once a month for your friends.
Also, I don't think any of the Lyoko warriors' partners are ever told about Lyoko. That's just an adventure for themselves.
Jeremie's parents have met you and they love you! His dad, especially. And Patrick, too. Same goes for your parents and siblings.
Also, the two of you have an aquarium of fishes together. I feel like Jeremie's allergic to cats, and you're allergic to dogs (you only found this out after meeting Kiwi; you would have never known otherwise). So you bought an aquarium and learnt all about fish!
The two of you are very open about money, work and where you see yourselves in the future. This openness came after your first few fights about the money earning situation, and has led you to be more open with each other since.
You made it very clear that you'd only be ready to marry later on in life, after you've published your first book.
And that's exactly when he proposes.
You say yes, of course.
Your wedding happens a year after Aelita's wedding.
Odd Della Robbia:
Now, Odd!
Odd strikes us all as a player. He's not that bad boy player, but the cute, fun person everyone wants to date at some point. So, he's got his fair shares of partners throughout school life as well as college life.
You come into his life when Kiwi dies, actually (I imagine that this happened a year after Jeremie's partner met Kiwi). Your dogs, Otto and Goober had also died within the same week that Kiwi passed away, and both of you were looking at good spots to hold a funeral for your dogs.
The two of you bond over your dogs, how you both snuck your dogs into your schools, and how your dogs were very important to you, and you keep in touch even after the funerals.
He takes you as his plus-one to Aelita's wedding, and asks you out the same day. That's when you start going out. You have a standard relationship, and Odd decided after the second date that you're the one.
It takes you a while to, though, because you know about Odd's dating history, and also, in my head, Odd's partner might be a year or two older than him, so you're very level-headed and guarded.
So, when he asked you if you were cool with moving in about two years after you start dating, you were skeptical. He was okay with it, respecting your space, but he find sout about your apprehension regarding his past relationships and why you're so guarded, and he promises you that it's not like that with you, and that you're different.
Domestic life with Odd:
Odd actually moves in with you.
Your place is much bigger, and he slowly adds elements of him to that space, and the two of you make it your own.
Having grown up in a joint family, Odd is pretty good at keeping his house clean. He's good at chopping vegetables and doing the laundry when it needs to get done, and you're fairly surprised.
I imagine that Odd majored in theatre in college, and has his own stand-up shows. You, on the other hand, are probably a doctor, or lawyer, or a private business consultant of sorts. I think that would suit Odd well, but sometimes, you might have fights because of your individual career struggles.
But you love comedy, and you love Odd's brand of humor. It's one of the things you adore about him. Regardless of your schedule, you help him write bits, and always attend his shows.
Odd is so grateful.
Jeremie is so shook that Odd managed to find someone level-headed. Also, out of all of Odd's friends, you're the closest with Jeremie, which was very surprising because Ulrich and Odd are top-tier besties.
You spruce up Odd's life. Like, his old apartment was messy and cheap, but your place -- now his place as well -- is full of plants, full of life!
Odd, much like Aelita, likes to give you back hugs when you're doing the dishes.
The two of you get a dog about a year after you officially move in together, and you name him Scooter (I couldn't think of any other names).
With both of you having very different careers, you guys dedicate one weeked every month for netflix and chill, and another to date night.
I think the two of you just fall asleep cuddling during netflix night, tho. It's cute.
You've met all of Odd's sisters, and his parents, and he's met yours. His family loved you at once, but your family is skeptical, even after the two of you get married (which, I think, happens a little later down the line).
Odd might feel slightly insecure because of this, but you love him, and you assure him that though you love your parents, you won't let them give him a bad time because of his career choices. You love him for him!
Ulrich Stern
By now, dear reader, you've probably realized that I made specific scenarios for each Lyoko warrior. I hope you're liking this so far.
We all know Ulrich and Yumi's dynamic. But, for the sake of writing for Ulrich and Yumi seperately, let's say that Ulrich and Yumi decided to stay friends. Their relationship dissolving seemed like an inevitable thing for them, contrast to how things between Jeremie and Aelita went slightly awry when they broke up.
I think Ulrich just took some time to figure out what sort of person he was during his years after Kadic.
His father then sets him up in an arranged marriage.
Naturally, he's pissed, but he's a mature man. He doesn't like the idea of an arranged marriage. But he goes to meet the person because his father and your father arranged a meeting, and Ulrich's mother convinced him to at least meet you before rejecting you, if he was really so averse to being set up.
He goes to meet you. And he is absolutely floored.
You are the most gorgeous person he has ever met, and you have a very corny sense of humor in a way that's adorable! The two of you have so much fun and he saves your number, hoping to meet in the future.
You're actually the one who proposes moving in together before marriage, and he's fine with it. One part of him is scared, because he could see that things were moving too fast, but in comparison with his relationship with Yumi, he thought things were considerably better with you.
Domestic life with Ulrich:
For you and Ulrich, there's a timeline of events. The two of you move together two months before you were set to get married (which is, roughly speaking, after three years of dating/engagement).
You're very open to communicating, and your love language is basically every form of affection. For Ulrich, this is different and new, because his parents have never really openly communicated like this, but he's learning and he loves it.
You help him become more open!
Much like Odd's partner, you also love keeping plants and taking care of plants. The two of you (you and Odd's partner) talk about plants for hours when you first meet while Ulrich and Odd are just staring like 'O.O'.
I imagine that you would be a nurse/paramedic, while Ulrich's an electrical engineer (flying by the seat of my pants here, bear with me, but you can imagine yourself to be in any occupation you want. this is just what makes sense in my head). So your working hours are very demanding, and you function on coffee.
You always fall asleep when you and Ulrich are cuddling. He loves it! He carries you to bed if it's late, or if it's an afternoon, he'd take pictures of your face with doodles.
Both of you cannot cook to save your lives, so for about six months after you moved in (and four months after marriage), you survive on takeout or Yumi's cooking.
But then you learn to cook together and its still a work in progress.
Speaking of, Ulrich thought that things might be awkward between you and Yumi and was downright nervous about introducing the two of you, but then, after ten minutes of knowing you, Yumi is the embodiment of "if you break their heart, i'll kick your dick, ulrich."
Yes, you're basically corny sunshine.
Ulrich, I imagine, is the first person to end up as a Dad in the group.
Also, his relationship with his parents has improved after your marriage! You encourage him to be more straightforward and honest with them about his struggles during school and you're all a big happy family!
Ulrich teaches you penchaksilat.
You teach him how to take care of plants. Y'all have a garden.
The two of you are very cute.
William Dunbar
Now, remember where I said that all of the Lyoko warriors never told their future partners about Lyoko? William's partner is kind of an exception to this rule.
The truth is, you were also a student at Kadic Academy. You were in William's class, too.
Remember how sometimes people don't forget X.A.N.A. attacks even after a Return to the Past? That's how William actually got even more suspicious about Lyoko, remember? And Laura too! You, my dear, are also one of those people who don't necessarily forget X.A.N.A. events after a Return to the Past.
You just thought it was a case of deja vu.
William in my head will always be a secret agent. Or someone who likes extreme stuff. Let's just say he's a police officer/FBI/top secret agent and he was actually assigned to a case involving you receiving death threats. You're a successful author, by the way. Your stories may or may not revolve around your deja vu.
William read your books while he was on your case. He also got to know you and realized that while you were basically perfection with legs, you also went to Kadic Academy and had been his classmate for a long time, and it was him who never really noticed you.
He also realized about your deja vu problem and knew that you, like him, were kind of immune to Return to the Past.
After the case was closed, he asked you out on a date, though. You always did have a crush on him from school, so you thought, why not?
And the rest is history.
Domestic life with William:
So, you two don't really in together until marriage.
William's away for work and you keep a private life as an author, so most of your relationship is long-distance.
But when you stay with him, and he stays with you, it's basically flufftown.
William enjoys cuddles. He also enjoys reading your novels and your drafts and even gives suggestions (based on X.A.N.A. fights, shhhh).
You think he's very creative. He doesn't tell you about X.A.N.A. though. He'd thought of it several times, but he never tells you.
He sometimes does your chores for you, and you appreciate it, because you don't like doing chores.
William does those chores shirtless and often encourages you to join. You're only too enthusiastic.
You never really get a lot of cleaning done.
The two of you love planning two-day and/or week-long getaways to different places.
You often take trips with William's parents too. They adore you.
Because of your unpredictable work schedules, you two don't go to many of the Lyoko warrior gatherings. Sometimes, you do. Sometimes, he does, and the event of the two of you checking in on the gang together is always a blue-moon day.
All of them love your books.
Jeremie is a little wary of the things you seem to recall from X.A.N.A. days, so he's very cordial with you. His partner loves your books and has merchandise signed by you.
William proposes with a very expensive ring. The two of you have a very lavish wedding and that's when you move in together.
William's a very easy person to live with. The two of you are very touchy-feely and emotionally compatible, so there's no big problems between you two.
Yumi Ishiyama
You and Yumi met through a dating app.
She was looking for casual relationships then, but very quickly found herself falling head over heels for you.
Yumi's relationship is the one that moves very fast. She meets you, you get together, and you're moving in together after three months.
She has never felt this with anyone else. You're a wild soul, always craving adventure, craving fun, and you have such positive energy around you that just pulls her in. With you, she feels understood. She craves your energy, your enthusiasm, and your curiosity.
Domestic life with Yumi:
Yumi was brought up in a traditional household and I like to think that you're the opposite of that. You might be non-traditional, but you respect her beliefs, and love to hear about her childhood and culture.
You're a very extroverted person. You love trying new things -- food, clothes, bars, talents -- and you believe that life is for exploring.
Both you and Yumi are workaholics. You believe that, in order to have the lifestyle you want to, you must also work hard. Yumi is of the same belief, and the two of you appreciate each others' work ethic. You and Yumi keep your finances seperate, but also do talk about your money.
Yumi is a mean cook. You worship her cooking and always compliment her on things she makes.
Yumi's so glad she sat through her mom's cooking anecdotes.
You and Yumi have very similar music tastes, and bond over that the most!
Yumi loves that you have a strong set of morals, and a defined way of living, but also that you're open to other perspectives.
Her parents are very skeptical of you because you're so non-traditional, but once they see how honest and hardworking you are, they eventually warm up to you.
You destroy that when they find out that you're not willing to get married.
In reality, you've had this conversation with Yumi before. You're not exactly open to marriage, because of your childhood and the trauma you faced, being a child of divorce. You're not very close to your family, either.
Yumi figured that out even before you moved in together, though, but she was cool with it. Still is cool with it.
But as time goes on, you're open to marriage. With Yumi.
You figure out that if Yumi was accepting of your wishes, you could atleast be open to trying to work through whatever issues you have to acknowledge hers.
But, overall, you have a very respectful, healthy relationship.

As written in the Times article:
> Donald was still Donald, of course. He bounced from subject to subject—disability to the stock market and back to disability. But promisingly, Donald seemed genuinely curious regarding the depth of medical needs across the U.S. and the individual challenges these families faced. He told the secretary and the assistant secretary to stay in touch with our group and to be supportive.
> After I left the office, I was standing with the others near the side entrance to the West Wing when Donald’s assistant caught up with me. “Your uncle would like to see you,” she said.
> Azar was still in the Oval Office when I walked back in. “Hey, pal,” Donald said. “How’s everything going?”
> “Good,” I said. “I appreciate your meeting with us.”
> “Sure, happy to do it.”
> He sounded interested and even concerned. I thought he had been touched by what the doctor and advocates in the meeting had just shared about their journey with their patients and their own family members. But I was wrong.
> “Those people . . . ” Donald said, trailing off. “The shape they’re in, all the expenses, maybe those kinds of people should just die.”
> I truly did not know what to say. He was talking about expenses. We were talking about human lives. For Donald, I think it really was about the expenses, even though we were there to talk about efficiencies, smarter investments, and human dignity......
---
> At every opportunity, we let my aunts and uncles know how grateful we were for the medical fund for William’s care and recovery. We sent pictures and updates, as we had in the past. We got no personal responses, which was the norm. It was the dedicated support and genuine love of caregivers that helped us the most.
> Uncle Robert died in 2020, and the medical fund for William continued. It was enormously helpful with our home-care costs and medical expenses, and we were always grateful to my father’s siblings for contributing. But even before Robert’s death, their interest had seemed to begin waning. My cousin Eric, who was the administrator, called me to say the fund was running low. Donald was the only one contributing consistently. Eric said he’d been getting some resistance from Maryanne, Elizabeth, and Ann Marie, Robert’s widow. I really didn’t look forward to these calls.
> “Why don’t you call Donald?” Eric said. “Talk to him about it.”
> I thanked Eric for the heads-up and promised I would.
> Soon thereafter, I was up at Briarcliff Manor, home of the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, N.Y. Donald happened to be there.
> He was talking with a group of people. I didn’t want to interrupt. I just said hi on my way through the clubhouse. I called him later that afternoon, and he answered.
> I got him up to speed on what Eric had told me. I said I’d heard the fund for William was running low, and unfortunately, the expenses certainly were not easing up as our son got older. In fact, with inflation and other pressures, the needs were greater than they’d been. “We’re getting some blowback from Maryanne and Elizabeth and Ann Marie. We may need your help with this. Eric wanted me to give you a call.”
> Donald took a second as if he was thinking about the whole situation.
> “I don’t know,” he finally said, letting out a sigh. “He doesn’t recognize you. Maybe you should just let him die and move down to Florida.”
> Wait! What did he just say? That my son doesn’t recognize me? That I should just let him die?
> Did he really just say that? That I should let my son die . . . so I could move down to Florida?
> Really?
> I’m usually pretty good at getting my head around things that other people say, even when I don’t agree with them. But this was a tough one. This was my son.
> Maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised to hear Donald say that. It wasn’t far off from what he’d said that day in the Oval Office after our meeting with the advocates. Only that time, it was other people’s children who should die. This time, it was my son.
----
Donald Trump doesn't see people he sees money. Only money and nothing but money.

Purchase/resell clothing, accessories, and other trending items
Rent out items or owned spaces (in your home, parking spaces, classes you've purchased from a membership, etc.)
Create a social channel (YouTube/TikTok) or blog with ads
Write an e-book/a course/self-published book
Affiliate marketing
Sell photo presets/templates/photography/art online
Investing in a high-yield savings account (/CD) or dividend stocks
Hope this helps xx

Even as the Fool held his boyfriend close, thoughts about business ventures still swirled in his mind. One that could turn on him at any given moment nestled  &&  tucked under his chin the least of his worries when developing the next scheme that would bring in profit, so he thinks. Found on the Tea Time menu of the hospitality business is Goethe Classic Hand-Made Coffee, albeit it with a sort of addendum attached  —   ❛  ( temporarily unavailable ) . ❜  Of course, such a thing could remain overlooked, coffee has been a rarity for sometime on a planet encased in white snow  &&  ice. In regards to the climate, it makes sense.
But now with the planet opening up, why can't someone with a trustworthy  ( infamous )  face introduce something to the market ?
He rubs Gepard's shoulder as he mutters into golden crown.  ❝ Hey, cutie... Have you had coffee before ?  ❞  Despite the added bit of curiosity in his tone, it's clear that he's going somewhere with this, deliberate in most things he states.  ❝ I was thinking about how Belobog's finest could do with a cup of coffee in the morning to get themselves going. ❞  Sure, that's all he was thinking about, hence the need to preface anything. Right.  That's why the opportunistic merchant stirs, scooting up in an attempt to raise his head, look down at Gepard who has been shifted to the pillow. If it means much for intimacy's sake, he's still keeping an arm draped.  ❝ What if I went  &&  brought back some stock ?  Pre-ground  &&  whole bean bags of coffee with necessary gear to brew at home. I don't doubt that you all have some archaic stuff to help with brewing since it clearly did exist at some point, but every little bit helps, right ?  ❞
Queries are all rhetorical, his mind working in real time. Soft hmm to himself, he peers down at the guard with a smile. Eyes darting, as if Gepard's visage holds answers. Despite looking fondly down at the one he shares a bed with, when purposely seeking, it is difficult for him to not to draft up at least one plan for a scheme.  ❝ Maybe to help me cut back on crime, I could look into a rather lucrative coffee business. Don't worry, I wouldn't charge my boyfriend. Out of all the people in this world, I think you need caffeine the most. ❞
Sampo’s mind was an enigma, one that despite tirelessly dedicating himself to Gepard had yet to entirely understand. It was never an arduous task to tell when something enthralled him, a rapt expression delineated in the slight rise of his brow or the subtle curve of his mouth, knowing what that entailed however was something he was still discovering how to distinguish. It’s a similar, captivating shift in his features that has his captain attentive despite how somnolence sinks in, nestled just beneath the keen line of his jaw. This state of utter repose was not a familiar sensation, Gepard far more inclined to tension and vigilance, Sampo’s arms somehow had become a refuge for someone far more adjusted to scarce rest and fatigue biting at his heels. Long, lissom fingers work the vestiges of stress from his shoulders and from his position atop slightly tousled hair he asks what can only be described as a peculiar question. Tried coffee before ? He takes a moment to ruminate about it, he has heard it spoken aloud or read it somewhere because it is inherently familiar but he cannot decide how it would taste.
“ That’s what’s on your mind ?” his query sounded almost incredulous, if they had been facing one another Sampo would have seen the familiar drawing of his brows, an expression conveying both intrigue and at times, bewilderment. “ No, I cannot say that I have.” It was just another of the myriad of things that proved Belobog had been segregated for far too long and that the inhospitable landscape was hardly auspicious for cultivating much of anything. In that moment he cannot help but feel as if he were slightly ignorant, not truly a fault of his own, but something he cannot quite shake, meticulously he would remember each small detail imparted, no matter how heavy his eyes felt, nor how a yawn crept up upon him. When Sampo began elucidating his business schemes it was hard not to be swept up in it, whether you were a potential client or someone who once had devoted themselves to intercepting them.  “ You’ve been thinking on this for a while.” his sleepy cadence almost an assenting hum, if Sampo proclaimed it a benefit to those who tirelessly toiled at protecting the icy planet than it was his prerogative to listen. A supplement of sorts to inspire vigor in the weary cadets as they rose to greet the morose, grey morning sky would be nothing short of an aeon-sent blessing. “ I can imagine they would be far less aggrieved by the prospect of dawn patrols with something like that at their fingertips.” Which would make his captain’s task of encouraging them to participate and not whine or bicker a far less onerous one. As he is maneuvered out of the comfort of Sampo’s embrace and shifts onto his side he props himself up, an elbow on the pillow, his chin resting in the palm of his hand, gaze following Sampo as he adjusts. “ I could look into it.” he suggests, but sourcing and restoring those sorts of things fell more into Sampo’s purview than his. “ I haven’t had that sort of equipment personally, but I cannot imagine locating it would be an issue for you.” his smile is a subtle sort, seldom seen apart from tranquil mornings and clandestine, shared glances between the two of them. That statement speaks of not only his resolute faith but the knowledge that Sampo Koski was one who recognised a lucrative business adventure when it was handed to him. Through a flutter of golden lashes Gepard peers up at him, the half-mast green of his eyes seeming to be alight with fervor. “ Whilst I don't mind being the one to trial it, do you believe a business like that would better suit you ?” he tilts his head a little to the side, as if he were considering it. “ Perhaps if I retire from the guard I can also lend you my assistance, two sets of hands would no doubt be better than one.” Even if Gepard was still tethered to the Silvermane Guard he’s certain he could devote time on his days off or between shifts to working alongside Sampo in whatever enterprise he was mapping out. He cannot help, however, the airy laugh that is evoked by Sampo’s declaration, no one needed caffeine more than he did, it wasn’t a lie. “ Do I truly look so tired ?” Compared to how he had once slept very little and precariously balanced all of the responsibilities on his plate now he was rather well rested, that too an outcome to thank Sampo for. “ I wouldn’t mind being your first paying customer.” he reassures, fingers idly tracing patterns upon Sampo’s chest.

so im thinking up a few options for myself:
local art market. it happens every second saturday downtown which is a great frequency i think. however i dont know the type of people attending so i dont know if my merch will sell well or at all, and i dont know if they even allow the type of stuff i sell. so this is an iffy one
finding book authors who need illustrations done. i can def do a childrens book illustration if i needed to but id like to find something within my current art style if possible. i'll have to look around and try and find places where ppl are looking for my type of work
sell at conventions. this one's a little tricky bc 1) i have to invest in my stock which is at LEAST $300 for everything i need, 2) im not guaranteed to get on the list of vendors, and 3) these happen very infrequently and i dont know if i can rely on this for steady income
self publish comics. i had thought of this before and i dont think im Currently fit for doing it bc i tend to burn out soooo easily (thats likely a problem with my workflow honestly. its fixable surely) but im hopefully about to get adderall prescribed to me so maybe it'll work out after all lol. unfortunately this isnt an overnight project either though, and i do need to make money Right Now
get into making either live2d vtuber models or 3d models for both vrchat and/or vtubers. i know i know, i cant charge 8k for my first models, but i can at least make a few hundred on a single model. this would be a new skill to learn but its totally possible. theres tutorials and i also vaguely know how to use blender so i can at least try this. i do have fun doing this stuff anyway. im just a lil worried about the level of detail that goes into live2d models, im not super used to detailed designs just yet but its something ive been wanting to put more time and work into, so..
bite the bullet and start putting more work into social media presence and advertising my commissions. i complain about how rough commission work is all the time yes. but genuinely i do enjoy doing commissions for a living. the ONLY reason i complain is because of the inconsistent/low income, and the only reason for That is because i dont have a huge following to the point of where my slots sell out regularly. im no sakimichan. but if i just put in a little more time and work into building a social media presence im sure things will look up in that regard. i just have to fuckin..do it
so ya. these all have pros and cons and im weighing them desperately LOL. if im being honest? im leaning towards three in particular: the vtuber models, building a better social media presence to up my commission demand, and selling at conventions. i can definitely do all three of course, but i have to figure out how to balance everything while learning to do the new things and get good at them. i have no idea how to wrangle social media. ive tried so many things and i keep falling out of it so so easily, its very hard. but fuck dude if 15 year olds on youtube can have 100k subscribers then what the hell am i doing LOL yknow?

Helloooo ZE fandom! Remember this post I made back in October? Here's your explanations!
Spoilers abound for all games!!
Secret Old man is a plot twist 3 different times
1st secret Old man: Tenmyouji being Junpei
2nd secret Old man: Sigma not knowing he's in his old body in VLR
3rd secret Old man: Delta's existence in ZTD
“If two guys were on the moon and one killed the other with a moon rock”
Tumblr media
Character becomes a Schrödinger's cat in 2 games.
Akane in 999 and VLR
Fireman third wheels two people with incinerator trauma
C Team, would also like to point out that not once do Akane or Junpei mention the incinerator (or even joke about it) around Carlos
Santa is a punk that's into the stock market
Tumblr media
Someone's dismembered Arm is microwaved
Junpei’s refrigerated arm is essentially put in a microwave to solve the last part of the Pantry in ZTD. Specifically, it had to be warmed to be open enough to activate the palm scanner
Someone decides killing ¾ of the population is best course oaction to kill 1 dude.
Delta's motive for releasing radical 6 was to kill an unknown terrorist that would otherwise kill the entire population on earth
At least one character gets their hand chopped off in each game
VLR and ZTD are easiest to explain. Sigma uses the 9 door to chop his hand off and prevent his bracelet from injecting him in Quark end (also has his hand chopped off by the other characters in Sigma’s bad end). Carlos looses his hand after being attacked by Akane with the Chainsaw in the “Suspicion” fragment.
999 was less obvious but in the Axe end, toward the very end, Junpei sees Clover walking off with his bracelet, since he was still conscious when she left, this leaves two options. First being that his heart stopped and allowed his bracelet to come off while still conscious, OR if Clover didn't want to wait for him to die and just chopped his hand off before leaving him to bleed out.
A character gets injected with a lethal poison from a needle on a book cover.
This one is the fake answer!!
I actually asked the Uchikoshi's Somnium discord server for a fake answer and this is what I was given first!
A lot of y'all appear to go tripped up on this and that might be because of the Bio Lab in ZTD. Part of the puzzle involves Sean, Mira, and Eric getting their fingers picked on something (don't remember exactly what rn but it was definitely not a book), but this was set up for the game's decision regarding Radical 6 (75% fatality rate) and Fanatic Bio R (100% fatality rate).
This decision was based on Newcomb's Paradox
Ice Cream server has one of the highest kill counts in the series.
Look at any route where Eric finds a gun, when not counting the Zeros, Eric has killed more characters directly than most of the other cast. (I think the only other characters in the higher range aside from Eric are Mira, Ace, and Dio)
I have a Google doc I've been working on with a list of rules for a solid kill count. Hopefully I will post that by itself soon.
Every Event in the Series happens because of a Snail.
Saw someone in the tags say they refuse to believe the snail caused 999 and I hate to break it to you but in the Apocalypse fragment in ZTD, Delta clearing states that if the initial incident that killed 6 people, including Akane’s parents, didn't happen, she wouldn't have gotten involved in the first Nonary game that Ace ran that was covered in 999.
Would also like to note that it was confirmed in VLR that Ace is a member of Free the Soul. How much he knows about the snail is debatable.
A character canonically has a 9” dick (18” when horny)
If youve been in the fandom for over 6 months, I think you know what this is
If there is anything else you would like clarification on, feel free to reply to this post or send me an ask!!

If there was ever a word that fully described you, assertive would not be it. You shied away from confrontation at every chance you got. You always had. You’d survived on a small stock of grains and syrup for the duration of the Dark Days, purely because you didn’t want to argue with the other students in your household about who would be allocated how much of the measly amount of food they’d bring back from the market.
And it was pathetic. You knew that. You hated it about yourself.
But as you stared at what you’d hoped to be your breakthrough out of poverty — an application for the Gamemaker Scholarship Scheme — and the text at the bottom, something changed immediately.
Because this had been it. Your chance to turn your life around, to move out of that stuffy, decrepit house you shared with 15 others, to make something out of yourself like you’d always dreamed of. You were booksmart. You were quiet and calculating when you needed to be. You had this job in the bag.
And they’d flat-out rejected you.
You looked down at your handheld device’s cracked screen, and then back up towards the Citadel. A shining beacon of the Capitol — oh, that building was glorious. You knew you had to be here. This was it. This would be everything.
And you were done with taking no for an answer, you were through with smiling and taking the hits. You’d get this. You wanted this, more than anything before. This was what truly mattered now. This was . . .
Your throat seized up.
You’d been so caught up amongst your own thoughts, so preoccupied with your ideas of taking back control and standing up for yourself and your desires — but you were here now. And as you stood stupidly past the doors of Dr Gaul’s laboratory, the gravity of the situation came spiralling back to you.
No wonder the Peacekeepers had waved you straight through — with that silly look of faux confidence on your face, they can’t have possibly taken you seriously. You weren’t a security threat; you were a petulant child with a driving licence.
An extra detail you’d added onto your application. You could drive, too. Not that it mattered now, apparently.
“Step up here.”
It was Dr Gaul. Of course it was. This was the Head Gamemaker’s lab. And you’d just stormed in during the midst of your internal rampage. Because apparently placing a well-worded complaint on the front desk wasn’t enough. No, you’d-
“Well?”
Gaul’s cold voice broke you out of your thoughts immediately. She stood on a metal grate platform just a few feet off the ground, peering down into a glass cylinder reminiscent of an oversized fish tank. She didn’t turn to regard you with any sort of look. She was virtually motionless, leaning back against the metal railing with her gaze lowered.
You hesitated replying. “Me?”
“You are the only other person in this room,” Gaul responded plainly.
She gestured a shiny red gloved hand towards the empty space next to her. You could turn around and leave. You could, you really could. But turning around and leaving would be accepting your position, and wasn’t that exactly what you’d decided not to do?
Your feet were carrying you forward before you could give them the order to do so. You weren’t sure what you’d expected from a biology lab; possibly a nasal-burning stench of chemicals, combined with strange biological experiments, like the kind you’d only ever catch a glimpse of at the end of the games. Despite the lack of the former, there were plenty of the latter. You ogled at the glass display cases, and the shelves upon shelves of jars and tanks in various sizes, none of them empty.
You became aware of yourself and hurried forward towards the stairs. Each rattling step you took reverberated across the room gratingly. Your heart pounded against your chest. And as you reached the top of the platform, your feeling of self-loathing and idiocy only increased.
Maybe Gaul could see that on your face. Far be her response from reassurance, of course. Because she would be right to look at you with such disdain, like a speck of dirt from her shoe.
This was a really bad idea. The reasons to regret this were starting to stack up. Not to mention the fact that you weren’t even sure if Gaul had anything to do with those applications. That probably went through some other department. You were probably bothering a woman who had absolutely nothing to do with your current dilemma.
You stared at the item in her hands. She opened up a little plastic handheld container and used a small pair of tweezers to extract a single vibrant teal larva. It wriggled and squirmed uselessly.
“I have an almost infinite supply of these,” Gaul mused aloud. She twisted her hand around, inspecting the slimy creature under the lights. “Unremarkable. Simple. Existing only as a crucial piece of the food chain.”
She loosened the tweezers, and the larva dropped into the body of water in front of them. You watched it sink, and then it was gone. The tank was empty again within a second — not so much as a speck to indicate anything had been dropped inside in the first place. The water bubbled, though; not visibly, but a soft vibration that hummed against the soles of your feet.
“If you wanted to stare at wildlife, the zoo was probably your best bet,” she suggested, pinching another larva from her stash.
You shuffled away from the ominous tank. “No, I . . .” You swallowed. Chin up. Shoulders back. If other people could do it, then so could you. “You rejected me. From the Gamemaker Scholarship.”
“I reject many people. Many unremarkable people.” As if to prove her point, she dropped the next larva into the water and watched it vanish. “You must have not left a lasting impression.”
“But one of my–”
“Childish complaints are received by the front desk,” Gaul interjected sharply. The container in her hand closed with a click, and for the first time, she cast you a glance. You felt dizzy under her intense gaze, like she was pinning you down through her eyes. “And then the paper shredder.”
“This isn’t a childish complaint,” you protested, the corners of your lips curling up in frustration. “I meet the entry criteria perfectly, I scored 96% on the aptitude test–”
“Over 2,000 applicants scored higher than you,” she remarked. It was as if she took some kind of sadistic enjoyment in making you feel so small. “So why you? What makes you so special?”
You didn’t know what to say. You tongue was caught in your mouth. You were as useless and silly as a squirming larva. They probably had more use than you.
“Because I’m here,” you tried. You couldn’t muster up the confidence to back up your argument with any conviction. “Unlike anyone else you rejected, I’m here to ask you to reconsider.”
You inhaled deeply, watching her unmoving face in the faint hope that an expression would flit across her cruel, haunting features. The lines on her face creased with the movement of a faint sneer, and if you paid close enough attention, you could see her gaze narrowing. Her left eye caught the light, making the twinkling blue of her irises appear almost translucent.
“Good,” she praised you, her response soft. Your heart fluttered, and then collapsed in on itself once she uttered her next word. “Why?”
“Because . . . I want this position,” you said. You weren’t so much responding, more so thinking out loud. “Because I worked for it. Harder than anyone else. I deserve it.”
“If you deserved it, you wouldn’t be here,” Gaul countered dryly, “grovelling and whining about how unfair the system is.”
“But I do,” you pressed. “I deserve it. I spent months looking through research papers on the games. I put myself through 3 years of Genetic Engineering classes at the University, which I had to fund by working from 4 until 12 every night, and that was just for a chance to have my application read.”
“This isn’t Panem’s Got Talent,” she drawled, accompanied by an active display of disinterest. Well, this was mortifying. “I am not moved by tales of human suffering. Or did you believe otherwise?”
“I didn’t come here to tell you my life story,” you continued stubbornly. You felt like you were digging your own grave now. But then again, what was the worst she could do? . . . You looked into the tank and gulped. “I came here to tell you . . . you made a mistake in rejecting me.”
Gaul wasn’t listening. She inclined her head towards the tank, casting her gaze towards you with a cold smile. “Put your hand inside.”
It wasn’t a request; it was an order. A blunt, callous command. One she clearly expected you to obey.
You looked down at your own hand, and then at the tank, and then back at your own palm. You weren’t sure what to feel more astonished by — the fact that Gaul had made that request, or that you were genuinely considering doing so.
“And if I do,” you began, “you’ll give me the position?”
“All I asked was that you put your hand inside this tank,” Gaul repeated herself coolly. “Go on.”
You sank to your knees. It brought your eyes closer to the clear pool of water. You didn’t know what lurked inside. You didn’t feel safe enough to ask. But whatever it was, it was clearly predatory.
You started to lower your hand inside on your own volition. The tips of your fingers brushed against the icy surface first. You tested the sensation out against your skin, uncertain. Gaul’s icy glare pierced holes in the back of your head.
She’d moved behind you. She was dangerously close. So close, you could feel her brush against you. So close, you could feel her light breaths against the side of your neck. So close, she could easily grab you and push you in.
“To the wrist.”
You dunked your entire hand into the water without a second thought and squeezed your eyes closed in anticipation. You prepared yourself for the worst, even the smallest suggestion of pain.
But your nerves didn’t experience so much as a light tickle. The water was still. It didn’t hum the way it had. You wiggled your fingers experimentally. There was nothing to suggest you should recoil. Not yet.
“Why did you do that?” Gaul asked calmly.
You slowly lifted your hand out. Water dripped down your fingers and back into the tank. Your skin was unbroken and unharmed. Cold though, maybe.
You swallowed, somewhat afraid to turn around. “You asked me to.”
“I know I did,” she responded. You could still sense her presence, towering over you as your knees pressed into the uncomfortable platform. “But why did you obey without knowing the consequences?”
“Because . . .” You fumbled over your words again. “Because I really do want the position. I want to study under you.”
She hummed shortly. You briefly wondered if that was a dismissal, but some kind of curiosity kept you rooted to the spot. You weren’t finished yet. Not until you’d gotten an answer you had come here for.
You listened to her footsteps as she drifted away from you again. She’d been a lot closer than you’d thought. You shivered.
“I can offer you this,” she started. You stared up at her dumbly. She paid you no mind. “A simple lab technician role. Menial tasks for small pay. You say you want this position? You’ll have a year to convince me.”
A year to convince her? You weren’t sure how to even begin processing that, nor the dark undertones her suggestion carried. You weren’t sure for how long you would be able to handle her close attention and piercing scrutiny for until you cracked, nor what the consequences of that could be. Gaul was as forgiving and merciful as you were confident.
But that aside, this wasn’t what you came here for. This wasn’t the result you’d fantasised about. Not initially, anyway.
But then again, you supposed that employment was the next task on your realistic list at the back of your mind, so . . .
You stood up again, using the railing behind you for support. “500k a year.”
“We pay 425k,” Gaul told you.
“I know,” you said. “500.”
“425 with 27 days holiday.”
“36 hours.”
“40.”
“38.”
“And a confidentiality agreement,” she added. “We can’t have the other failures thinking that complaining will get them somewhere.”
“Isn’t that what I did?” you asked, confused.
She hummed a laugh that lacked any kind of joviality or warmth. It was blisteringly cold, mocking. Something was amusing to her, something that had gone directly over your head. A mystery that would unnerve you.
“You’ll start next week,” Gaul said dismissively. She batted a careless hand for you to leave. “Make me believe you want this.”
You shuddered and nodded obediently.
An easy task, you lied to yourself.

There is something wrong about the narrative...
Tumblr media
You know this kind of graphic, right? The population pyramid. And I do have a problem with it.
No, not with the pyramid itself. The pyramid is okay and valid. It just shows how the population looks in regards to age. No, my problem is with the narrative around it: "The pyramid is top-heavy and now the pension and care does not work anymore!!"
Technically this is wrong. And yes, the pyramid originally was exactly about that. About showing how the work done by the young people would pay into the system, so that old people could retire at some point and get care. Because originally, of course, we needed that bottom-heavy pyramid to make sure that there were enough people to do all the important work and take care of older people reliant on care.
Only... that it really is not true anymore, right? It more is like... it is just again the system being broken. Because capitalism sucks.
Let me address the two supposed problems with the entire pyramid and what not: 1) "Who is gonna pay for it?" and 2) "Who is going to do the care work?"
Who is gonna pay for the retirement?
See, the theory over here in Germany is technically that during your work time you pay into the social security net and should get back later what you paid in. But, obviously, you technically do not just save up for your own retirement. The money you pay into social security right now gets paid out to the people currently receiving their retirement benefits.
Hence the problem: When more people are on retirement benefits, while fewer people pay into the social security, the math does not work.
But... Like literally all problems related to people suffering from poverty (like a lot of old people are doing) it could be easily solved by redistributing the immense wealth of the super rich. Literally nobody needs to have more than 1 billion dollars. Heck. Nobody really needs more than 10 million, if we are really honest.
And no, giving that money to the rich does in fact not help the economy, if we are going by pro-capitalist logics. Redistributing the wealth, does.
Really, we do not even need retirement funds, if we just gave out UBI for everyone. (Or went communist.)
And that we can finance by taxing the rich. Also taxing any sort of stock trading.
But who is going to do the care work?
See, here is the other issue, where just capitalism is the problem. Because technically there is not a lack of people who would be able to do the care work and would be willing to do it, if only the jobs in care work would be a) fairly compensated and b) actually respected in society.
See, when we look at the job market today, we see in fact a lot of "bullshit jobs", as David Graeber calls it in his book by the same name. Meaning: Jobs that produce nothing of societal value. Jobs, that society could do well without and that quite often aim to enforce the hierarchies of capitalism. Literally.
Hence, heck, even if we had too few people to work in care (something that technically really is not true), we could easily just get rid of those kinds of jobs. In general there are a lot of jobs that only exist to give the appearance of keeping people busy. (The story of why the 40 hour work week is bullshit is a story for another day.)
But yeah, the reason why most people are kept away and pushed out of the care industry is just how underpaid and overworked everyone there is.
See, caring for people is actually something that many people find fulfilling. But not under those circumstances. So, better the circumstances and you will have enough folks to work in care.
So, yeah. Whenever someone keeps whining about "top heavy pyramids" just tell them: "The problem is not birth rates. The problem is capitalism."

Namimatsu for the ship ask!
4, 10, 11, 12 & 15
Btw, I love how you explain your headcannons!
god, it's been so long since i've done anything for namimatsu, i can't wait to get into it! and thank you 🥹 you're very kind!
4. what they do on date night. typically, they go out to dinner and sit at a table with the most privacy or get a balcony table to themselves. namikawa takes matsuda to places he enjoys, which are usually on the expensive end, and always pays. matsuda does not protest this - people aren't meant to know that he's dating namikawa in the first place (due to the very recent or even ongoing investigation of yotsuba). by expensive places, i mean exclusive clubs or golf courses and the like. does namikawa like golf? no. does matsuda? no. do they go at least once anyway? yeah.
10. what TV shows they watch together, and which ones they hide from the other. both of them watch the news together in the morning when matsuda is over at namikawa's, and they watch it all the way through so matsuda can catch the weather segment and namikawa can catch the stock market segment. namikawa doesn't care for television, whereas matsuda is an avid watcher. namikawa will sometimes sit with matsuda and watch whatever he is watching, but he will be doing it to keep matsuda company rather than for the show itself. matsuda gets VERY cuddly on the couch, and namikawa gets to use watching the tv as an excuse to let him cuddle up (despite his sensible nature).
11. what their first impression of each other was. their first meeting was when matsuda broke into yotsuba and fell into their meeting room. namikawa's first impression was that matsuda was rather dumb, going in at night instead of at daytime to promote misa-misa. he didn't spend much time thinking about him because he THOUGHT that he would die anyway.
matsuda was terrified of all the yotsubas and that he would be killed right there and then, he was focused entirely on instinct so really regarded them as an entity rather than as individuals. when they met later on, matsuda was tentative, because namikawa was confident and didn't seem like the type to take no as an answer.
12. what they do for their anniversary. namikawa takes matsuda out for a night at the town, they go to a theatre and watch the opera (which matsuda hasn't been to before, so yay for him!) then go to a restaurant for dinner and discuss the show. they don't do gifts. namikawa isn't a romantic man, but he knows matsuda likes the expensive places he takes them to and enjoys new experiences, so he tries to incorporate both.
15. what they would change about each other. disclaimer before i answer this, i choose to interpret this about what they change about one another (over what they would change about the other if they could choose, i prefer to think about the development of a relationship and how it advances).
namikawa learns to be more compassionate over the course of his relationship, matsuda is often late to dates or to coming over because of his long hours with the task force and needs leniency that at first, namikawa does not give. matsuda's work days are often exhausting and he typically works seven days a week as opposed to five like namikawa does, so when he gets home he needs to not be told off and treated gentler. matsuda is very grateful for this.
matsuda learns to think first and then act, he is usually impulsive and acts on pure emotion or vibe alone. namikawa is the opposite, acting on logic, and over time, matsuda begins mimicking the same pattern. it starts with things as insignificant as what drink to buy or what fruit to choose at the supermarket. he wants to make namikawa proud (because inferiority complex, yippee) so learns some things from him. namikawa is satisfied with this, thinks it's just him wisening up and doesn't realise his impact on matsuda.
thank you for the ask!

“The idealized market was supposed to deliver ‘friction free’ exchanges, in which the desires of consumers would be met directly, without the need for intervention or mediation by regulatory agencies. Yet the drive to assess the performance of workers and to measure forms of labor which, by their nature, are resistant to quantification, has inevitably required additional layers of management and bureaucracy. What we have is not a direct comparison of workers’ performance or output, but a comparison between the audited representation of that performance and output. Inevitably, a short-circuiting occurs, and work becomes geared towards the generation and massaging of representations rather than to the official goals of the work itself. Indeed, an anthropological study of local government in Britain argues that ‘More effort goes into ensuring that a local authority’s services are represented correctly than goes into actually improving those services’. This reversal of priorities is one of the hallmarks of a system which can be characterized without hyperbole as ‘market Stalinism’. What late capitalism repeats from Stalinism is just this valuing of symbols of achievement over actual achievement. […] It would be a mistake to regard this market Stalinism as some deviation from the ‘true spirit’ of capitalism. On the contrary, it would be better to say that an essential dimension of Stalinism was inhibited by its association with a social project like socialism and can only emerge in a late capitalist culture in which images acquire an autonomous force. The way value is generated on the stock exchange depends of course less on what a company ‘really does’, and more on perceptions of, and beliefs about, its (future) performance. In capitalism, that is to say, all that is solid melts into PR, and late capitalism is defined at least as much by this ubiquitous tendency towards PR-production as it is by the imposition of market mechanisms.” ― Mark Fisher, Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative?
