I wanted to pay homage to a handful of the blogs that inspire me, so I drew my favorite cats from each!

I didn't realize how many white/gray cats were my favs 'til I started coloring this... I guess I have a type. It was really fun to color this, though - it really expresses how different all of their coats are!

I DID realize that many of my favorites are the nonverbal and/or stoic ones, lmao.

This was so much fun for me! It was a great opportunity to play around with shapes and faces and appearances. I'll definitely do this again in the future!

Momo

Cranedeer? Craneer? Deercrane? Deene? 🤔😄 She told me her name is Momo and Im mighty proud of how she turned out. I just wish we had spring and not beginning of winter here cause I wanna photograph her in a living, light green forest so bad!! 🌱 But all we will have for at least another 5-6 months is cold winter and darkness. 😒 At least Im gonna wish for a sunny day and try capturing her properly then. 🦌☀️💕

Types of Ferries (2/3)

Wild Ferries

Borse

Borses are farm ferries and basically serve the same purposes as real-life horses. People go borseback riding and race them. They are herbivores and eat mostly milkgrass.

Hamstear

Hamstears are ferries that live in forests at high elevations. They are known to be very aggressive and territorial and protective of their families. They eat fruit, berries, and sea ferries.

Chipmonkey

Chipmonkeys are tree-climbing ferries that have a diet that consists of mostly nuts and berries. They are seen basically everywhere in the world and not limited to one exclusive habitat.

Tiolf

Tiolves are carnivorous ferries who live in mountainous regions. They live in packs and have wide territories spread across miles and miles of land.

Hedgedog

Hedgedogs live in deserts and drier climates. They are herbivores and eat plants and fruit and nuts. They aren't exactly violent, but their prickly spines protect them from predators.

Rabbat

Rabbats are nocturnal ferries that live in caves and dark, cold places. They eat mostly insects and other small easy-to-catch prey.

Squeakaphant

Large herbivores that live on grasslands, they are mostly gentle giants, but don't get in their way or else you'll get crushed!

Gaborcat

Carnivorous ferries that live in swamps, freshwater lakes and rivers; they mostly eat sea ferries and sky ferries that get too close to the water.

Brog

Brogs can be found basically everywhere in the world. They eat exclusively insects and usually reside close to water, but sometimes not.

Cobrabbit

Cobrabbits eat small ferries. They are found in deserts and forests and mountainous regions. They have deadly venom, so don't let them bite you!

Hippossum

Hippossums can be found both in the wild in forests near water, and wandering city streets at night. They will eat pretty much anything.

Capybaraccoon

Capybaraccoons usually live in cities on streets similar to dox and hippossums and chipmonkeys. They're considered hazardous ferries because there's so many of them!

Boo Fish

Boo fish are sea ferries that resemble ghosts. They get their name not only from their appearance, but also the fact in water where they live deep in the ocean, sometimes they appear completely transluscent.

Catfish

Catfish are sea ferries that well... resemble cats! They live in freshwater lakes and rivers and are very common.

Purrtle

Purrtles are sea ferries that live in all areas of the ocean, even the coldest and warmest of waters! They also travel long distances. Some will even go from the North Pull all the way to the South Pull!

Purret

Purrets are sky ferries that live in hot climates and rainforests. They come in very bright colors and mostly eat insects.

Parrat

Parrats are the most common sky ferry on Spinch. They're found everywhere in cities and just hang around and search for discarded food.

Cranedeer

Cranedeer are sky ferries that live at the North Pull. They aren't found anywhere else on Spinch.

Three moons ago, DustyClan's head Reverend, Tinspit, disappeared into the night. They claimed to be searching for a way to enter the Great Beyond, and they never returned. With no sign of them anywhere near the clans' territories, they were soon presumed dead. The entirety of their duties fell to DustyClan's remaining Reverend, Cranestep.

When Cranestep left for the last half-moon meeting, he did not return. A patrol was sent out to search for him the next morning, and all they recovered was his body. He had clearly been in a fight, but no other cats were found around. The only clues left behind were the vague scent of RustClan and brown furs stuck between Cranestep's claws.

It has been less than a moon since Cranestep's murder, and DustyClan is left without a Reverend, and without answers. Merlinstar tries her best to hold her clan together, while many of her cats are eager to turn the blame to the clans outside their borders.

Now, DustyClan is a clan held divided, only barely held at bay by their leader while tensions simmer beneath the surface. Will the cats of DustyClan put away their biases in order to solve Cranestep's death, or will they let mistrust and doubt destroy them from the inside?

Applications for DustyClan will open April 9th!

These four are the kits of Cranedance and her Wisteriaclan girlfriend, Princess!

Crestswirl: Swirly, as you could maybe guess by appearance, is a bit… odd. He’s very blessed by Starclan, and unlike many with this gift, he’s very into it- he’s also not entirely there, he acts like he is in a constant statement of brain-fog and is fully just not concerned about it. He just lives his life in the in-between of life and death. He lives with Princess in Wisteriaclan.

Luckspots: Lucky, an entirely white cat, named herself as a joke… it stuck. She, in her short life went from adventurous to strict, like two moons into adulthood. She inherited her mom, Crane’s Taker sight and has been haunted beyond belief from it. She will not let anyone out of clan unless it’s in groups of three.

Nettelsmoke: Born in Chasingclan and at 6 moons old ran to Wisteriaclan, because she has common sense. She’s pretty lonely, with Crestswirl in his own world and away from her siblings and the mom that she actually connected with. No matter how they both try, Nettle and Princess just can’t find common ground. She did somehow manage to have get everyone falling for her.

Orchidbramble: Orchid is unlike both her parents, it’s very cold and numb to talk to, though it loves its family a lot. Silver is entirely familiar orientated, and has adopted no less than seven kits in the span of four moons. She also unfortunately needed up being killed by one of said kits (a son named Yewfang). Other than that she never did much.

GerryMichael has never been a major thing for me, so when I read your prompt I thought, “I’ve got nothin’,” then my brain went CHALLENGE ACCEPTED and now I have a plot bunny and I have to like, write it out like an adult rather than pooping it into a Tumblr comment and running away giggling and also I relistened to all the Michael episodes last night at, like, 1 am, and this morning I did research on hotels in Singapore, and now I may have to research the seamy parts of Edinburgh and also think through what Gerry’s childhood was like. Food Chains

(Because they don't eat meat and all anthries are vegetarian, their "equivalent" of several types of meats are called beat (meat), chichen (chicken), gotbeef (beef), bork (pork). These "meats" are made out of mushrooms to resemble meat and is basically the same concept as plant-based meat products.)

Rememburger - Fast food chain that sells burgers, chichen tenders, hot dogs and corn dogs.

Southern Death Chichen Kitchen - Fried chichen place that serves Southern Death chichen, which is a type of chichen that is unbelievably spicy. Its name not only comes from its place of origin, but it's truly like sudden death.

Lie's - Sit-down diner restaurant that serves a variety of foods.

Northern Heights Bites - Fast food chain that serves "bite-sized" foods like mini corn dogs and chichen nuggets and tater tots.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm curious how you intend to navigate a wild west theme without leaning into harmful anti-native tropes, especially when warriors is kind of notorious for this problem in the first place? Having a character named Cranedance (an actual dance from several aboriginal cultures) and a role called Reverend (like wild west Christian missionaries?) are already giving me pause. So just wondering if this is something that has crossed the mods' minds.

Hi, thank you for asking! This is absolutely something the mods have thought about while crafting the lore and the world for this rp. We understand that both wild west media and Warriors itself have lots of anti-Native tropes built into them, and we have attempted to change some of these tropes in order to remove the anti-Native themes from them. For example, the role of medicine cat has been removed and warriors are based more off of European tradesmen than canon-typical warriors. As far as Reverends and the religious aspect of this rp goes, they have taken influence from real world Christianity, but any people or characters who uphold and enforce missionary-type viewpoints will not be tolerated.

I apologize if I'm explaining this incorrectly, but we are absolutely sure we want this rp to be more Bonnie and Clyde than Clint Eastwood. Any outside groups that are encountered in the rp will be representative of the wild western outlaws, and we have been absolutely sure from the start that we want to completely avoid anything that may play into the incredibly anti-Indigenous tropes and history of both wild western media and the colonization of the American Midwest.

As for the name Cranedance, I was not aware of that fact, and I would like to thank you for pointing that out! I will be sure to change the name of the character and be more cognizant with names going forward. Us mods are trying our best, but we absolutely welcome criticism and views from Indigenous people within the community.
