the yves/orin dynamic I hc is so hhhhhjjmyhhhhhhdhdghh scrumptious to me bc yves was orin’s biggest tormentor. yves constantly berated orin and thought she was useless, and she made her grievance known. like yves constantly preaching abt how orin is so useless and worthless and the only thing that’s significant to her is the blood in her veins and unlike her, she will never gain bhaal’s favour and she’s always going to be a mongrel chasing her heel for a sliver of recognition…! and the fact that yves - besides being bhaal’s bride and chosen - was one of the head priestess of His church meant that she influenced others to think similarly too. orin was also one of the constant victims of yves’ nasty tantrums and when she’s feeling particularly curious and she wants to see how a shapeshifter’s inner organs work mid shifting orin is the first one she takes to experiment on. like yves in her dead three was SO nasty and horrible and her cruelty is so deliberate and calculated. unlike her god yves was not reckless nor chaotic, rather, she was very meticulous and executed everything she did with precision hence why I think she worked well with gortash bc she isn’t unpredictable like orin.

but anyway, yves being so horrible and nasty to orin so when orin FINALLY managed to stage her little coup, it is a very satisfying and vindicating moment. now she gets to see the woman who made her life living hell kneel and break open like an egg, and she WILL watch with a smile in her face. now she has a chance to prove her worth, and to show everyone that yves was wrong abt everything and she IS bhaal’s chosen, and i think yves would actually be proud of her for finally standing up for herself lol.

but then orin makes the fatal mistake of not killing yves 😔

“You done figuring out the sound files yet?” Duke asked while tapping on the hood of the Batmobile.

He was excited to hear a campy “Yes, Sir!” Come out of the open windows of the car.

“Neat, first off, any files that have your name in it?” He was a little disappointed, but still snorted to hear the tragic ‘Noooooo’ from Darth Vader.

“I think Red Robin has some pronoun type files in there, what are yours?” A mix of sir’s, dude's, and bro's were played until Duke had to stop the guy.

“Ok, what about age?” He wasn't expecting to get a straight answer, but when the car played a Scooby-Doo cut of ‘those meddling kids’, he was confused.

“So a kid?” Duke questioned. He got a weird mix of 'Ehhh', 'Kinda', and 'close enough' type files.

“We can worry about that later, any ideas how you got stuck?” A short ‘Nope’ with a pop on the P played.

Talking to the car guy was strange. Getting answers could be easy or turn into 20 questions trying to clarify an answer. So far, Duke knew the person:

is male or male presenting

a meta

has no clue how he possessed the car

has a good understanding of current memes

was possibly in their teens (probably a bit younger than Duke, but older than Daimian)

was a street kid? (When asked where he lived the car played “Why should I worry” from an older Disney movie about homeless animals in New York or something. He had to look it up.)

has a good sense of humor

and is taking their situation in stride.

Duke really had to wonder what their life has been where this is not a vast problem to fix…. And whether or not he should argue his ‘notification tone’ being a choir singing.

He really does not get paid enough for this, but it is better than the other stuff Gotham throws at the Bats.

“Mind if I get you up on the lift and check the engine? Might give us some clues.” After an affirmative from the car guy, Duke got to work.

I have solved the mystery of Rolin and Assad's answers (aside from absolute nonsense trolling, that is) and made them make sense.

See? Now it makes perfect sense. Parkinson's disease said 'I'll be killing the love of your life slowly while you sit there and watch. What are you gonna do about?

Jet Vac is married to Snapshot, but despite being married they live separately during Academy term time

JetVac LOVES the trio like his own kids, at first he tried not to act like it but eventually he started being more open on it

He loves Elf the most as his own daughter !

He often comforts Eruptor regarding his issues with being emotionally neglected, he tries to give him compliments and attention more often on his work to help him

Him and Snapshot adopted Dark Spyro, while Spyro lives in the dragon Kingdom, Dark Spyro remains with JV at the Academy

JetVac struggles a lot with what happened between him and his Dad, and still carries a lot of outdated beliefs so he's never really worked it out in Therapy, and Hugo doesnt stop pestering him about it

Hes Gay and Transgender, hes pretty open about his transition, the team are all very supportive of him !!

JV helps Pop with his Class plans, and keeping track of when he has a Class so he doesnt forget them

He REALLY doesnt understand technology, he struggles enough with the Vac gun, but the gang try to make him do TikToks with him 100%

Loves Facebook minion memes

Probably started a LGBT+ support group at the Academy !!

He would LOVE to have kids of his own, but with Snapshots work routine and the Academy, he's happy enough with the gang

The Gang celebrates Fathers Day with him !!

Got on very well with Spyros family when he met them, actually became friends with Spyros Dad Nestor and often tells him how Spyro is doing (and Dark Spyro!)

Has Scars on his back from when he lost his wings

Feels indifferent towards Eon, doesnt appreciate how he puts Spyro on a pedestal and doesnt consider the others, thinks hes too hard on the team
