★ He loves the game, the chase, the push-and-pull… but this is ridiculous. How can one Cookie be so blind? He finds himself watching you more than he intends to, microphone twirling in his hand, muttering under his breath. “At this point, I’d need to shout it live on air to get through to them…” Candy Apple Cookie overhears and laughs so hard she nearly drops her lollipop.

★ When Shadow Milk Cookie asks why Black Sapphire Cookie seems more exasperated than usual, he just sighs, leaning back in his chair like a tragic performer at the end of an act. “Master, I have spun lies so grand they shape history itself, but convincing them that I am flirting? That, that is the one tale they refuse to believe.” Shadow Milk Cookie just stares. “…I see.”

★ He’s a master of getting the spotlight, but you? You’re maddening. You’ll listen, sure, but you’ll also get distracted by some trivial thing—like another Cookie passing by or an interesting rock on the ground. “Darling, I could weave a tale so thrilling it makes kingdoms crumble—” “Oh wow, look at this! The pattern on this stone is so cool!” Black Sapphire Cookie clutches his microphone like it’s his last shred of sanity.

★ At this point, he’s not above using a little… sarcasm. “Ahh, my dear, your ability to completely ignore my every advance is truly inspiring. Have you considered taking up a career in resisting temptation? You’d be phenomenal.” Of course, you just laugh and say, “Oh wow, really? I never thought about that before.” He stares into the void.

★ Candy Apple Cookie, ever the chaos gremlin, is having way too much fun watching Black Sapphire Cookie struggle. “He’s so into you, y’know,” she whispers one day. “He even calls you ‘darling’ and everything!” You just shrug. “He calls everyone darling.” Black Sapphire Cookie, standing nearby, physically reels.

★ He’s not jealous. Nope. Not at all. He totally doesn’t get irritated when another Cookie gets a little too close, even if they’re just talking to you. And he absolutely does not go on air later to spread a mildly exaggerated rumor about that Cookie, just to keep them away. Nope. Purely professional.

★ One day, he does make it official. No games, no riddles, no sultry suggestions. He just looks at you, dead serious, and says, “Darling. You. Me. Dating. Do you understand?” You blink. “…Ohhh, that’s what you’ve been hinting at?” He nearly drops his microphone. “YES?! What else—” He groans, but he’s also grinning. Maybe it was worth the wait after all.

★ When it finally clicks, you try to flirt back. The problem? You’re terrible at it. “So uh… you’ve got nice… um… microphone-handling skills?” Black Sapphire Cookie just laughs, deep and rich, the sound curling like smoke around you. “Oh, darling~” he purrs, looping an arm around your own. “You are so lucky you’re cute.”

Gonna put this here too. I've seen a lot of people lately making disable Shadow Milk (which I love) but I kinda want the same love for the other beast/cookies in general.

Like, Burning Spice having Phantom limb syndrome cause he forgets that he no longer has 6 arms. Poor guy keeps forgeting the second he's not thinking of destroying something

Maybe in the future I might make a little thread with drawings or just yapping about some cookies I hc with dissabilities if you guys don't mind

Uhhh Brave Trio backstory headcannons go

Not well put together at all btw, plus I might make some more broad ones in the future. These ones are mainly related to their backstory with the witch

GINGERBRAVE:

-woke up in the oven while the rest of his batch was being overbaked (the witch forgot to take them out) there was a lot of fire and burning cookies, the only other still living one in there was Dozer. The only reason those two were alive was because they were in the center of the tray

-The two of them escaped the oven but quickly ran into the witch, who grabbed Dozer and bit half his head off before dropping him again (because he tasted like shi-) and chased after GingerBrave

-GingerBrave ran away and hid after that and is totally not traumatized for life

-Ever so slightly overbaked, a little bit numb to pain as a result

-The whole fiasco gave him a fear of fire

-Feels really guilty for not being able to save Dozer

-Very attached to his Candy Cane as it was the first thing he ever held, and it saved his life when he had to escape

-After grouping up with Wizard and Strawberry, he was the main one that explored around to find supplies, information etc, had to run from the cat and the witch A LOT

-way faster and braver than he should be because he needed to be

STRAWBERRY COOKIE:

-Woke up on a plate alone, was able to wander off when the witch was in another room. Very lucky and knows it

-Watched GingerBrave and Dozer escape and was going to try to meet with them, but then the witch came in. She watched helplessly as the witch ate Dozer and chased GingerBrave

-Found her lollipop pretty soon after that as a precautionary weapon

WIZARD COOKIE:

-Woke up in a pile of other identical cookies, escaped and wandered around a bit before finding the witch’s wand. He was drawn to it and took it

-Heard a commotion going on and went to check it out, witnessed the same thing as Strawberry

-Immediately noped the fuck out of there

-Underbaked, kind of frail as a result (that’s also why he’s so short)

-The first time he held the wand it shocked him pretty badly, gave him a scar over his eye. That’s why he covers it

-taught himself magic by reading the witch’s books

MISC STORY STUFF:

-They all ended up meeting in the cupboards and agreed they had to get out of there

-None of them really had names so they decided to name each other. Wizard was originally called ice cream cookie cuz of the hair, but he wanted to be a wizard soooo. Strawberry was automatically called strawberry because she smelled like strawberries. GingerBrave was originally Ginger Cookie/GingerBread Cookie (interchangeable) for like a week, but changed it to GingerBrave because Wizard made a pun and GingerBrave didn’t know it was a pun and liked it (something something transmasc GingerBrave headcanon)

-they were in the castle trying to survive for a while (about two weeks) before they all got separated and escaped through different ways

Strawberry - door was open, ran out

Wizard - zapped the cat to distract the witch (and also save GingerBrave’s ass) and ran out a different door

GingerBrave - was being chased by the cat and fell out a window. Somehow didn’t break his legs

After that you know the rest

I'd like to think that rather than the silver tree being empty and void inside, it was actually really spacious and it felt like a different world. It had things the beast cookies could do and it was endless. Eventually if you went / flew up or down or left or right enough you'd make it to where you started. Kinda like living inside The Tower from tarot. Of course it would still be boring after a while but less boring than a black void. I feel like burning spice would consider it an ironic mockery, seeing as he was the Herald of Change. Eternal sugar feels similarly, and it's one of her inspos for her labyrinth motif in her Beast Yeast area.

hey guys, I kinda need help :/

I’ve been bouncing around the ideas of making an Otter Pop (like the otter pop popsicle lol) cookie and/or a Monster Energy Cookie (that would be a Piranha) but I have zero idea how to go about it. Well, obviously I have the general ideas down (OP: fuzzy, maybe changes like Cream Ferret Cookie between forms, otter tail / paws / face-ish ; ME: probably can go on land and water like Sorbet Shark Cookie (which means two slightly different designs/one for land legs one for ocean fish tail), some kinda spiky tail / fins design, probably a bright green like a Monster Energy drink, electric blue eyes(?) maybe). I just never did any water/mermaid ocs before so I don’t really know how to draw them?

some tips would be super cool, thanks :)
