twilighting: a term for a symptom experienced by one who relates to or identifies as twilight sparkle from my little pony G4. it manifests as catastrophizing over a small issue that can sometimes result in comedic acts, unintentional or otherwise. this term is more lighthearted, describing the ridiculousness of twilight's antics, not a description of a pony panic.

@cryptwalking​ thank you for the offer! there’s already streetview photos of the current look, and ones going back to 2012 showing the same modern business, but I’m at a loss trying to figure out what was there in 1960. What I’m sure of now is that the current business is The Abingdon, on the corner of Abingdon Road, and Abingdon Villas. I have half a mind to just call the business and ask “what was the business here before this one” but it’s not unlikely it changed hands more than once in the span of 60 years.

Still curious what this indicates on my vintage 1960 map of london. Clearly, it was hand-marked, but... it can't mean a stupid dude's house. And it can't mean a fictional phone booth. So what is (or was!) the "TARD" on the corner of Earls and Abbington? I'd go find out myself... but I need to update my passport.
