Also... oh, oh you were right! Such a good episode. And they even relate Nick's experience back to Grave Danger. And Nick needs kids! Like now! *cries ugly tears*

I'm gonna rewatch csi (caused I'm basically in s15 now and I need more eads) Which episode should I start with?
Oh, thanks for the ask and happy watching.
I can't think of all the eps right now, but my favorites and those who are mostly Nick centered or have a lot of Nick in them or good Nick moments are: 1x06, 1x11, 1x13, 2x03, 2x19, 5x24 and 5x25 (aka Grave Danger, my most fav eps out of all), 6x05, 8x17, 9x01, 9x16, 10x03, 10x06, 10x15, 10x23, 11x01, 11x15, 11x19, 12x01, 12x14, 12x22, 13x01, 13x03, 13x05, 13x22, 14x01, 14x02, 14x14, 15x01, 15x02, 15x03, 15x17.
Originally I have watched up until s10 (back in the day). And I still have to watch s11-15 fully, so I'm probably missing some good eps).

Hi there ! Do you know if the original script of 6x05 (of CSI) is available somewhere ? Thanks in advance.
hey, @clarissemcc!
way back in the day, the website “your tax dollars at work” (ytdaw) posted three scenes from what they purported to be the original script for episode 06x05 “gum drops.” however, that website has long since vanished into the pre-2010 internet ether, and i can’t find any cached versions of the posts anywhere, either.
barring them, i think the best weve got is just the production team talking about the original version of the script.
in an audio commentary track for the region 1 s6 dvds, episode director richard j. lewis and writer sarah goldfinger discuss how one of the main changes they made between the originally-scripted and eventually-filmed episode (aside from swapping out grissom for nick in the central “believer csi” role) was to remove a ten-page, three-scene sequence which would have confirmed that grissom and sara were sleeping together.
in the sequence, the team was set to stay overnight at a local hotel in pioche. due to the hotel only having three available rooms with two beds each, the team members were going to have to “double up” in their sleeping arrangements, with nick and warrick taking one room together and grissom and greg another, while sara (as the lone female csi working the case) was to get a room to herself, per lab policy.
greg’s snoring was going to keep grissom awake, eventually prompting him to seek accommodations in sara’s room instead. there then would have been a long scene in which grissom and sara were to lie in bed, discussing the nature of life, death, and love together.
the next morning, greg was going to show up at sara’s room looking for his missing roommate, just in time to see sara stepping out of the shower and grissom wearing a robe—the implication being that grissom and sara had slept together.
jorja fox confirmed the existence of the fabled “hotel scene” in script form in some interviews she gave back in 2006 (see here and here).
however, to the best of my knowledge, the only part of the hotel sequence that was ever filmed was the first part (when the team shows up to the hotel and decides who’ll bunk where), and, as far as i can tell, that footage has never been released to the public.
unfortunately, that’s about as much information as is available to us.
(personally, i’m a huge fan of how the filmed version of the episode turned out, but i’d still love to read the “goldfinger original” script—and especially the gsr “pillow talk” scene!)
sorry i don’t have more details. thanks for the question! please feel welcome to send another any time.

Okay, y'all, story time. When I was in high school I was super into CSI and I loved all the characters but Nick and Greg were my absolute favorites. Greg because he reminded me of me and because he was just the dork and lovable and so sarcastic that he was instantly just my favorite person on the show. Nick was and will forever be one of those heartbreaking characters for me though. For those of you who don't know the character, he's the down-home, sweet southern boy kind of character. Like a total sweetheart. And he was abused sexually when he was little. So his worst cases, his most heart wrenching episodes, are the ones with kids because that's where he loses his cool and breaks down. Now, I watch the show because it brings back memories and it's just one of those things that it's nice to come back to, you know? So I'm watching this episode, 6x05, and this little girl's family has been killed and they find her nearly dead. And Nick saves her. He finds her. He goes to visit her at the hospital and she gives him this handmade card thanking him and he's all teary eyed and I'm about to cry because I know what's coming. So then she asks him, by writing on a piece of paper because she can't speak, where her family is. He's even closer to tears (and God damn, George Eads did a fantastic job acting here) and he tells her they're in Vegas. She gives him a look and writes on a different paper that she's not a baby, she's ten years old. I'm crying by now. I'm sobbing. Nick looks at her, his voice his all choked and he's seconds from tears and he tells her "their bodies are in the coroner's office, honey" and he just tries to comfort her as he asks her to tell him anything she can remember and he sits down, telling her they can take it as slow as she needs and holds her arm. The scene cuts out with them sitting there as she tells him that she loved her family and I'm just totally gone now. Nick dealing with kids and helping them through their trauma will forever break my heart and I have too many feelings about him and his big ol' heart.

MK’s Favorite Post-Grave Danger Things for @letswaitforme Part Ten (Final): Hope for the Future (my commentary below)
This scene....ohhhhhh this scene man. There’s just so much to unpack here, I mean we got Nick who legit in the last season said how he didn’t believe much in un-earthly things (Iced) and seemed like that type of guy who very much valued his masculinity, being a frat boy jock type but here’s Sage telling him he’s radiating this feminine energy, and what does he do? he smiles. he chuckles, pulls a face, “huh, guess she’s right” and doesn’t fight it. it’s a new point of view he’s willing to listen to, cause this woman seems like a nice lady and seems to know things that he doesn’t
and then she asks him the question, if he believes in past lives. what did she see, I wonder, did she maybe see that in his past lives, he suffered greatly and just continues to rise out of the ashes of those broken chrysalises like a phoenix that gets stronger with each life? did see sense the lives he’s felt he’s already lost, to the point where he considers himself eight lives down in later years?
what she really sees is this radiating soul surviving through the darkness that has tried and will continue to try to snuff him out, and that despite it all, despite everything that happens to him, he’s still nick stokes. and he still survives. and he’s doing pretty well at it, too.
it’s something he seems to really take to heart, too. he doesn’t just shrug her words off, he values them, puts a lot of thought into her words and though he’s just mystified by this strange woman, it gives him a little confidence boost--we had seen his struggles in the season so far, overcoming new fears and flinches and this entire case he’s being told that he’s chasing a ghost but this right here seems to push him further in that right direction to finding that last part of him that was buried in the ground again.
and above all, it gives him hope for the future, that he will make it through this life after all.

MK’s Favorite Post-Grave Danger Things for @letswaitforme Part Nine: That’s Who I Am (my commentary below)
so just like in the last set, I know Nick has been shown to be outwardly emotional in his empathy, but there’s just something about how it seems to hit him like, extra hard, probably because he knows what it’s like; how he almost died alone, not even a killer to keep him company. he doesn’t take things lightly anymore, random acts of violence infuriate him more (empty eyes) and putting his trust in others comes with a heavier weight than before (redrum.) when he sees a victim that is either in danger (sara) or just came out of it within an inch of their life (cassie,) he wants nothing more than to help them, to rescue them because he was rescued. when he sees a victim that died alone? he knows that terror, how last words could forever go unheard of.
