I'm writing chapter 16 of SAS right now and just realized it is most likely gonna be THE chapter. You know what I mean? The one in a book that you flip back to just read again completely out of context because that's when EVERYTHING happens? Like... this is the reason my story exists. It exists for this chapter. And 17. There's no way it's all fitting in one but goddamn.

Reactions to The Worst's Chapter 394
Brief summary: Cale talks to GoD. Cale receives his rewards for completing the subquest. Cale feels ominous at what Clopeh had done.
==========
I couldn't help but laugh at and feel sorry for GoD at the same time. 😂😂😂
Cale: Are you busy? GoD: Very busy. Cale: How's the GoC these days? GoD: …What did you do? Cale: Haven't you heard from CJS? GoD: They don't tell me anything anymore. Shameless bastards. Don't they even know that they're living so freely because of me? Cale: Okay, I'll send those two to Earth 3 while we're in the game. Also, I'll briefly explained what happened, so listen carefully. GoD: Oh yes! I'm looking forward to it! Cale: Ha. It's not something that will have a big impact on your side of the god realm. But I thought it would be good for you to know. It's nothing much, but just know. Cale: *tells the chaos he did* Alberu and Rosalyn: (Nothing much?) *looks in disbelief* Cale: …And that's what happened. GoD's mirror: *vibrates intensely* GoD: T-T-This crazy bastard! Y-You are really the best! Hahahahaha! I was a genius for choosing you! Hahahahaha! Cale: Are you crazy? *contemplates on breaking the mirror* GoD: Ahem. Cale: Anyway, since I've set up the board, the gods should fight each other according to that. GoD: Ah. Even without that, there's currently a standoff without any progress. There are gods who are increasingly siding with GoC. Because of that, GoB is going crazy and running wild. Also, there is also talk of her stepping down from the position of representative because GoB is not doing her job properly. In addition, since the title of ancient god is not very useful, there's talk of creating a system by appointing new leader-level gods other than the ancient gods throughout the god realm. Btw, I'm one of them- Cale: Stop. The affairs of the god realm are none of my business. I only care about the hunters and the absolute gods. The rest is up to you, the god and demon realms. GoD: You really think so? Cale: What? GoD: Heh. Cale: *feels annoyed and turns off the screen* GoD: Sorry, I won't tease you! Tell me more!
GoD seems to know that every time Cale denies involvement with the gods, he continues to set up flags in becoming involved with them. 😂😂😂
That lore drop about ancient gods though. I thought "ancient god" was just some adjective to call the old gods, but it was actually a title and had some significance. The appointment of new leader-level gods was also a surprise, and the fact that our GoD was included as a candidate... 🤣🤣🤣
After a few months, CJS and Sui were mentioned again. Cale planned to leave the Earth 3 matters to them while he plays the game. And King Zed was mentioned too!
Apparently, when a person was nearing their death, their name would appear on GoD's Death List six months before their death. Included were also details related to their death, such as the time and location of death.
However, Zed's place of death kept changing, so GoD couldn't tell much to Cale. There was also restrictions around it, so GoD said he would have to prepare for it before he could tell Cale the info.
Moving on, Cale got to talk to the System AI upon completing the subquest. He achieved his quest so splendidly that the system rated it as SSS+. He got a potion that he needed to pour on Count Lupe's forehead to restore Lupe's memories.
The System AI was so happy that Cale hit the Transparent Bloods, the Demon Realm, and the God of Chaos all at the same time. So the extra reward Cale got for achieving SSS+ in his quest was just too OP!
Red Hand (Rank: God) -When using the skill, you can make a "judgement" through a "trial with the System" and activate "Red Hand" when you are "permitted". -If you understand that the absolute god of the New World already exists, it will be easier to receive "permission" in the "judgement".
Red Hand was the game's response to game errors, and if you recall, it once tried to kill Cale when he first entered the game. But now, Cale had it as a skill? Since the "absolute god" of New World was the System AI, and it was that very System AI who gave the Red Hand skill to Cale, it meant that Cale could freely get "permission" in using the skill. Cale is becoming god-like even inside the game! 😂😂😂
As Cale smiled, another quest window popped into view. And he froze. [Recovery Rate 99.31% (Time remaining: 23:19)] [Nativity Progress 159%] [Reward Tier Undetermined] “Huh?” Why is the nativity progress over 100%? How is that possible? “Damn.” Clopeh Sekka, what the hell did you do? Cale's heart raced. It was the moment he realized something was coming that he couldn't handle.
It's here! Cale's reaction to Clopeh Sekka's actions! 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, what the heck did Clopeh do that the birth/nativity progress surpassed 100%? 😂😂😂
Ending Remarks So much happened today. Next chapter would be our poor Cale learning what Clopeh had done (and learning about Sheritt's "betrayal"). 😂 We would probably hear about what happened to Count Lupe too once he wakes up. So Eden's birth should be next week?

These might be questions for separate posts, butWhat are elections like on Gallifrey? Like, I know the president can name their successor and Time Lords vote to confirm, but can there be other candidates?
Also, are local politics a thing (like mayor or local overseer or something) or are those positions appointed? Basically, what’s the basic hierarchy of the bureaucracy?
How do politics work on Gallifrey?
Gallifreyan politics may look complicated, but that's only because it is. Take a deep breath ...
🏛️ Presidential Elections: A Gallifreyan 'Democracy'
The 'election' of a new Lord President isn't exactly democratic. Generally, the current President picks a successor, who is then confirmed by a High Council ballot. This sounds great… until you realise it's almost a done deal and that the vote is just a formality. It's more about who's best buds with the outgoing Lord President.
But wait! Article 17 of the Gallifreyan Constitution allows almost any Time Lord to declare themselves a candidate for the presidency. However, it's rare for anyone other than the hand-picked successor to win.
That said, if a Lord President resigns and no successor has been named, an election must be held within 48 hours. In this rare instance, there might actually be a race for power.
🗳️ An Expansion of Voting Rights: Once, there was a rare experiment in democracy when former President Romana allowed more Time Lords to vote. But by and large, most Gallifreyans today don't have much say in their leadership. Elections, if they even happen, are generally conducted within the Capitol—likely only involving those esteemed enough to be Time Lords.
⚖️ The Bureaucratic Behemoth
Here's where it gets fun, and very text-y. Gallifrey's bureaucracy is a tiered maze of titles, councils, and arcane traditions:
The Lord President: AKA 'Keeper of the Legacy of Omega' and 'Defender of the Laws of Time'. The President of Gallifrey has near-absolute power, at least on paper. They're entrusted with Gallifrey's deepest secrets, access to the Matrix, and, of course, the right to wear the very fashionable Sash of Rassilon. However, all this power is checked by the Inner Council (more on that later) and the Constitution, which prevents direct orders to the Chancellor without council approval.
The Chancellor: This is the President's right hand. The Chancellor runs day-to-day government affairs and represents the High Council. Think of them as a blend of Prime Minister, ambassador, and a sports referee. The Chancellor also holds the Great Key and is technically responsible for the CIA's oversight (if anyone actually manages that).
Inner Council: The Inner Council is an elite subset that includes the Lord President, the Chancellor, and the most powerful Cardinals. They meet in the Great Hall of Time to discuss important things and have the rare power to overrule the President—if they're unanimous. This is rare, but it's there for when the President, say, decides to go on an intergalactic holiday during a planetary emergency. This council rarely changes and is as exclusive as it gets.
The High Council of the Time Lords: This elite group includes both the Inner Council (the President's immediate circle) and Prime Cardinals. Known as 'The Twenty-Four,' they're the top decision-makers, dealing with everything from defence to ceremonial events. If something goes wrong, they're probably the ones who signed the forms.
Parliament: The broader College of Cardinals (known as Parliament) convenes only for grand events, like passing laws or making constitutional amendments. It's packed with Cardinals, from Prime Cardinals to Junior ones, and they're all about protocol and tradition. And yes, hierarchy matters—closer seats to the ground level mean higher status.
📜 The Influence of the Cardinals and the Chapters
Gallifreyan society is organised into six Chapters, which function as both political and economic factions. Each Chapter is governed by a Council of Cardinals, high-ranking Time Lords who hold significant sway in both Chapter and Gallifreyan politics.
Cardinals: Cardinals lead their Chapters and serve as influential voices in the Gallifreyan Parliament. Cardinals with the title of Prime represent their Chapter on the High Council, meaning decision-making often reflects the interests of each Chapter. Every major decision, therefore, becomes a tug-of-war between Chapters, with Cardinals pushing for policies that advance their Chapter's interests.
This structure means Gallifreyan politics isn't just about personal ambitions—it's also driven by inter-Chapter alliances, rivalries, and the push for dominance. And screw those who aren't in a Chapter, because they have no political voice at all.
🎩 Other Notable Figures
Auld Mortality: After their final death, the Ordinal-General becomes Auld Mortality and proceeds to quite literally haunt the current President. They have no official duties besides constantly reminding the Lord President that their time is finite.
Lord Burner: They officially don't exist, but rumours say that the Lord Burner is the President's secret assassin. Through ceremonial burn edicts, the President can order a kill discreetly. But of course, this is just hearsay.
The Castellan: Head of the Chancellery Guard, the Castellan handles security in the Capitol. Though they're answerable to the Chancellor, they have broad discretion when guarding Gallifrey from internal threats.
Gold Usher: Gallifrey's master of ceremonies, responsible for everything from Presidential Ordinations to formal court proceedings. Gold Usher ensures the pomp is adequately maintained and that no Time Lord starts a duel mid-ceremony.
🧩 Hierarchy at the Local Level (Or Lack Thereof)
Gallifrey isn't exactly decentralised. Positions like mayor or local overseer simply don't exist. All power flows downward from the Citadel, where bureaucratic roles are filled by appointment. These appointed officials take charge of specific regions or operations. Even the Chancellery Guard, Gallifrey's police force, is overseen by high-ranking Time Lords with little room for local meddling.
🏫 So ...
Gallifrey has all the trappings of an elaborate, pseudo-democratic hierarchy. Technically, there's an election, but rarely a competition. The councils and sub-councils focus more on upholding ancient traditions than making radical changes with a deep, abiding love for the status quo. Because for a society as ancient as the Time Lords, stability is the ultimate form of progress.

Notes on Autobiography of Pauli Murray
Tumblr media
The name of this text is Pauli Murray: The Autobiography of a Black Activist, Feminist, Lawyer, Priest, and Poet formerly title Song in a Weary Throat: An American Pilgrimage. This is the 3rd paperback edition printed in 1997
The following notes are mainly quotes from the book related to specific subjects. Pauli Murray was a Black, queer, likely trans person who left an indelible mark on this world and greatly influenced the Civil Rights and Human Rights movements in the USA and beyond. She or they (there is controversy about what pronouns Pauli may have used in this day and age) were a courageous trailblazer. I would say, Pauli Murray is one of my heroes. I cry reading their words and hearing about their story.
I am currently on chapter 13 of 35 and will add quotes and notes as I continue.
The quotes are separated by subject as I have determined.
On gender and queerness
"My talents never included handicraft...the divisions of labor in our household was such that I did not cook. I would have enjoyed working with a hammer and tools, but cooking and sewing seemed beyond me..." (p 22)
"At home...[my] duties were to split and stack endless loads of wood and kindling, keep all the rooms supplied with scuttles of coal...feed the chickens...clean wicks and chimneys...scrub the outhouse, white wash the trees and fences...hoe the garden, cut down weeds..." (p 22)
For pay PM would clean her aunts house for 25¢. Pm also had a newspaper rout earning up to $1.30
On disability
"Grandfather's blindness did not prevent him from contributing to the family enterprises...In the springtime he would prune the grapevines so that each new crop of grapes would be large and juice." (p 21)
"My initial assignment was a teacher on the WPA Remedial Reading Project...Remedial reading was then a new concept...I had only 2 or 3 children in my classroom at any one time. Each child was tested for his or her particular reading disabilities, and then I constructed a set of reading materials for that child's individual use...the children did not have to compete with each other, only with their own records." (p 100 - 101)
This sounds like an early version of Special Education programs and individualized education plans
PM noted many educator did not fund value in the program or used it as a way to get rid of "discipline" problems....The latter is something echoed today especially with students labeled under EBD
PM mentioned feeling isolated from professional collegues in part because of the program goals (helping students with reading disabilities) and in part because it was a WPA project...likely similar to "professional educators" today response to Teach For America or similar programs.
On protest/resistance/rebellion
"My aunts were "Race women" of their time. They took pride in every acheivment of "the race" and agonized over every lynching..." (p 30)
"I carried on my own private protest. I walked almost everywhere to stay off the Jim Crow streetcars and I would not go downtrown to the theaters because that meant climbing the back stairs to the colored "peanut gallery". (p 32)
Pauli Murray reflects on their childhood in Durham, NC and the ways they avoided subjecting themselves to the humiliations of segregation and Jim Crow laws and policies.
"I had cast my first vote in the election of 1932, and it was a vote of protest. Since I would not vote Republican and, having lived under the apartheid of Democratic rule in the "solid South, could not bring myself to vote for a Democrat, I had voted for the Socialist candidate, Norman Thomas." (p 93)
"For all my bravado, deeply engrained notions of respectability filled me with distress. It was one thing to ride freights anonymously or sleep in jails in strange towns where I was unknown. It was quite another to carry a picket sign in the heart of Harlem, where many people knew me. I felt as if I had been asked to parade in public undressed..." (p 99)
This quote is a reflection of PM's first picket line. Joined in support of friend, Ted Poston, who was picketing a Black weekly paper, New York Amsterdam News. Ted and others had organized a local unit of the American Newspaper Guild. He had been arrested previously for picketing. PM was arrested at this picket line but the judge dismissed their case.
Labor protest at this time are in line with history I have studied in Minneapolis about Black labor movements during this era.
"Pee Wee had an amazing sense of her own worth, and she feared no one. Her strong convictions about civic responsibilities lef her to write long letters to public officials [over social concerns]...I owe Pee Wee's example my later habit of writing to newspapers and public figures on social issues, letters I came to call "confrontation by typewriter." (p 96
On the nearness of Slavery
"Racial lines, which had been blurred to some extent during Reconstruction, were now being drawn ighter by the wave of segregation laws enacted by southern states in the wake of the 1896 Plessy decision, which validated the doctrine of "separate but equal." (p. 14)
"On the all [in Pauli's childhood home in Durham, North Carolina] above the cross hung Miss Mary Ruffin Smith's painting of a mother of pearl fountain cascading from a silver basic. Grandmother Cornelia gave this painting an honored place in our household as a testimony to the strong bond of affection that had existed between her and the antebellum who had been both her blood relative and legal owner." (p. 19)
"...but Grandfather's tiny pension from his Civil War service was little more than enough to keep up the taxes." (p. 21)
Pauli's childhood home included her grandparents and Aunt Pauline and was owned by her Grandparents
"The preservation of the Negro cultural heritage was another important aspect of WPA activity. Interviews conducted with many former slaves preserved their firsthand stories before they passed from the scene." (p. 100)
Pauli is discussing her recollection of Works Progress Administration program that was focused on collecting and recording the history of living formerly enslaved people.
When Pauli Murray (PM) was 5 years old they participated in a play called "Fifty Years of Freedom" put on by an organization her aunts, who were race women, participated in. Later, they (PM) found an earlier version of the play titled "Thirty Years of Freedom" likely put on in 1890.
"In our segregated world, we had a sense of identity and a sense of racial pride, fragile though they might be. We were close to the roots of our immediate past because many elderly people still alive who had been born in slavery." (p 31)
Tumblr media
[Pauli Murray's Grandmother Cornelia]
On passing
"...Pauline Fitzgerald [Aunt Pauline] married young, blond, blue eyed Charles Morton Dame, fresh from Howard University Law School but they had not reckoned with the formidable barriers to the success practice of law by a colored man...The best young Dame could do was to earn a few dollars...writing wills and deeds for white attorneys, income supplemented by his wife's meager earnings as a teacher...
Some of the white men for whom he worked told him flatly that he would never get anywhere as a colored lawyer..."You're as white as any white man...and you'll have a better chance if you cross the line..."
...the temptation to end a grubbing existence finally overpowered Charles Dame. He told his wife what he had decided to do and tried to persuade her to join him. She, too, looked indistinguishable from a Caucasian, and the two of them would have had little difficulty fading into the white background. Aunt Pauline's refusal brought an end to their marriage." (p 14 - 15)
Aunt Pauline was married around 1899
"During the first half century after Emancipation, thousands of near whites exercised this option to escape racial oppression..." (p 15)
"Once when a fair skinned form the North came to visit and took me to town one day for company, she made me stand outside while she went into the stores on Main Street. She said they would give her better service if they did not know she was colored. (p 32)
Pauli, like many Black Americans*, is of a mixed, multiracial, multiethnic background. This included African, European and Native American heritage. Their relatives, like many Black Americans, had relatives who ranged in skin color from deep, dark skin to fair, pale skin.
Pauli's Aunt Pauline, who is also her namesake and legal guardian, was greatly offended by this relative's actions and did not allow Pauli to interact with them privately moving forward.
*Black Americans on this blog refers to people of African descent who survived USA chattel slavery, the maafa and have lived in the USA for the last several hundred years.
"It was no secret that my fairer-skinned relatives indulged in casual "passing"...in their pragmatic view it was not disloyalty to "the race"...Curiously enough, my relatives from the South did not bother to pass where segregation was most oppressive, but sometimes did in the North, where they were unknown and jobs were at stake. (p 34)
PM mentions a story where her Aunt Marie/Maria passed in the North for higher wages, but did not pass in the South and lived as a negro while working in the colored county schools (p 34)
"Some girls married Italian men and disappeared completely from the colored race. Others "passed" sporadically, working white collared jobs..." (p 35)
PM talks of a cousin who would bleach his hair blonde and another who wore wigs to cover his "kinky coils" (and was eventually found out by a white woman caller)
PM also tells the story of Amos Burton, who they name as the first Negro professional baseball player, was known to be colored in his hometown but known nationally (p 35)
On segregation
"College graduates were hit hard as other groups...the New York Times reported an estimated 10,000 unemployed college graduates in New York City...One could spot several women on any floor at Macy's wearing the Hunter College ring -- that is, if they were white. Negroes were limited to elevator and cleaning jobs whether they had a degree or not." (p 92)
When Pauli intially visited NYC as a child/teen they commented on how free it felt compared to Durham, NC. Their experiences after moving there quickly highlight that the colorline was still in place if more liberal...This highlights that segregation, though not always enshrined in law in Northern states and cities, was still a firm practice
"[Great Uncle Richard] had defied custom and bought the property in the face of fierce opposition from white people. It was said in the family that a white businessman named Tom Walker had fallen out with some of his asociates and settled his grudge by selling his home to a colored man." (p 29)
"In our segregated world, we had a sense of identity and a sense of racial pride, fragile though they might be. We were close to the roots of our immediate past because many elderly people still alive who had been born in slavery." (p 31)
"It was confusing to me because I was both related to white people and alienated from them." (p 31)
"While this discriminating assessment of he whie population prevented me from developing a blanket hatred of all white people, there was a threshold reserve which applied to the white world generally." (p. 31)
"white aristocrats" were cool to PM's family, they were "nice white people"
"mean, prejudiced white republicans" which Pm compares to the contemporary (at the time the book was written) "whitey" and "honkie"
PM did not/was not allowed to greet white people on their porch even their neighbors
"My meager contact with white people was paradoxical, since the two races lived close together, and, within the limits of the strict racial code...My family prederred never to cross the gulf that separated us from white people unless we could do so without lsing our dignity and pride." (p 34)
"It was a straitjacket existence, which became more oppressive as I grew older." (p 34)
"The only hope for me to go to college, it seemed, was to matriculate at the North Carolina College for Negroes in Durham. Since I was determined not to attend a segregated college, this prospect prompted my first overt stand against racial segregation. " (p 65)
"...the overriding purpose of segregation was to humiliate and degrade colored people." (p 109)
"During [FDR's] 6 years he had been in the White House, I had become increasingly dismayed over his apparent coziness with white supremacy in the South, his silence on civil rights and his refusal to speak out for a federal antilynching bill, which the NAACP had modestly proposed." (p 111)

[Review] 没钱离婚
Tumblr media
Title: 没钱离婚  No Money To Divorce
Author: 首初
Length: 100 chapters + 3 extras
Tag: Sci-fi, politics, drama
Summary:
The strongest force in battle x the man on the supreme throne
This was an era where artificial intelligence determined the direction of human life. The most infamous enemy to the Federation, the supreme commander of the Navi Military Command, Adrian Yate, and the youngest representative councilor of the Supreme Council, Zhong Yan, were matched up by the AI as the most optimal marriage candidates to each other.
If they reject the AI’s optimal recommendation, they had to pay the fine.
Adrian: Why should I pay? I don’t have money, so scram!
Zhong Yan: I don’t have money either.
AI: If the fine is not paid within the time limit, congratulations to your unification.
Novel | Novel [translated] | Audio drama
Comments *contains spoilers*
A friends → enemies → fiance → lovers story running parallel with conflicts regarding human autonomy versus AI governance. On the surface the main couple had opposite stances on the topic of AI governance, but in reality Zhong Yan was secretly helping Adrian all along.
Some highlights of the story include:
Love the fact that Zhong Yan only cares about what Adrian wants and not the better good of humanity. It lays the ground for some morally grey characterization - which I am a sucker for - and complements how Zhong Yan’s background caused him to develop this mentality. Though in my own opinion the story didn’t explore the full extent of this morally grey characterization since the main couple are so deeply in love that this aspect of Zhong Yan’s flaw doesn’t become a prominent point of conflict.
A lot of fluffy moments between the two, especially when they are doing more domestic matters and taking care of their bunnies.
Talking of which, so much giant space bunny lore lol
The writing style is pretty simple and has a nice balance of flashbacks to the main characters’ past and current interactions.
The philosophy of human autonomy versus AI governance is definitely a topic of interest for me, especially given the current climate of using AI in art and science. It is also interesting to read about how AI is not flawless and can be colluded by people of higher power (surprise surprise). Heck, Zhong Yan himself colluded with the AI to change his marriage partner. Nevertheless, I wish there is more elaboration on this topic rather than a shallow statement of pro- vs anti-AI.

Atlantis - Divine Bridge: Chapter 3
Location: Yumenosaki Student Council Room Characters: Touri, Shinobu, Mao & Yuzuru Season: Winter
Tumblr media
Touri: …Anyway, there’s no use complaining about it now.
But why are there so many people running for student council president? It’s so annoying having so many rivals I gotta defeat!
Putting that ninja aside, I’ve never even heard of most of the candidates’ names.
I’m taken aback since these guys just popped up under the radar and started blocking my path all of a sudden.
Shinobu: That would be because you didn’t do enough research, right…?
Touri: What’d you say?
Shinobu: Eek! Um, they should be nothing compared to you since you took part in the “SS” Main Stage and there are also lots of units at school…
It seems those representing the slower units and the like have all started moving at once to gain power over the next generation.
It’s going to be a thorn in your side… No, it’s like they’re waiting for the amazing upperclassmen to graduate before they aim for the top of Yumenosaki in one leap.
Besides, the Yumenosaki idols basically monopolised “SS” the other day so…
It’s become important to gain titles such as the student council president of Yumenosaki or Yumenosaki’s most popular idol.
Touri: So you’re saying those riffraffs are motivated because they want those titles and distinctive labels?
Shinobu: I don’t think that way of putting it is exactly correct, but it’s more or less like that.
Also, there are some from the new “producer course” who are running for it too ~de gozaru.
If anything, they seem to stand out more right now.
Touri: The “producer course”. Hmph. Now that’s a real rising power.
Shinobu: Yeah. It seems doing political things is also part of their job so we can’t make light of them, either. They’re really good at manoeuvring behind-the-scenes to gain votes.
Touri: Anzu was terrible with that sort of stuff, though… She’s an airhead and just ended up handling it in a similar fashion.
But it means the “producer course” will be doing it intentionally and practically.
They’re still a “newcomer that’s just appeared” but we can’t ignore them…
Our generation probably can’t afford to.
Shinobu: Yeah… At the end of all these ulterior motives, there are a lot of candidates who have started advertising themselves.
There isn’t a limit to how many candidates there can be, so the number is likely to increase but right now, there are currently fifteen student council president candidates – including us both.
Touri: That’s so many… Looks like being student council president is pretty popular.
Mao: Hm? Oh, ahaha ♪ Are you praising my work?
Touri: It’s the other way around. They must be looking down on the position, thinking it looks easy enough for them to handle.
Mao: That still makes me pretty happy. The bar’s gotta be low enough for the next generation.
Touri: Eichi-sama also said something similar when he created “SANCTUARY’.
(...That’s what “fine” was supposed to be in the first place.)
(Unlike the transcendental geniuses, the “Five Oddballs”, we were the representatives of the “incompetent and unfortunate”.)
(Even if they couldn’t become the “Five Oddballs”, they could become “fine”. That’s the sort of unit “fine” was supposed to be at the very beginning.)
(I know this because I was a fan of “fine” and Eichi-sama from way back.)
(When did we become a noble and elegant unit akin to an angel that looks down on others?)
(Timing-wise, it was after Hibiki-senpai, me and Yuzuru joined, right?)
(Did I change the “fine” that I loved so much?)
Shinobu: A–Are you okay, Touri-kun? You don’t look well.
I don’t think you need to be so worried. The official voting day is some time away. Anything can happen in the future.
Rather than stopping in your tracks because you’re worried about how things will turn out, it would be more helpful to think about the future instead.
Touri: …Don’t be so arrogant – you’re just some ninja.
Shinobu: I–I don’t mind you making fun of me, but I won’t allow any slander towards ninjas!
Touri: Right. Sorry.
Anyone wouldn’t like it if someone started saying bad things about the stuff they love, right?
Mao: Anyway, let’s move on – someone called “Hashidate” is taking the lead in terms of the theoretical interim results.
In second place, it’s Sengoku, who’s popular for some reason and just barely behind.
Shinobu: This is all so strange… majority of those in the upper ranks are people from the “producer course”.
Maybe there are some people who think it’s better for the student council president to be an idol, and that’s why they’re voting for me.
Touri: Then they should just vote for me instead.
Mao: Himemiya, you’re moved from sixth to seventh place. It’s not bad but personally, I’d like you to try a bit harder.
Touri: I am trying… I’ll be able to leap straight into first place if I combine my votes with the ninja’s. In other words, I would’ve won if he didn’t take all my votes.
Shinobu: It makes me sad to see you branding me as a thief… Wouldn’t it be better for you to focus on the one who’s in the lead right now? That Hashidate person?
Touri: I don’t even know who that is. Who are they?
Mao: Who knows…? The “producer course” feels like a whole ‘nother country, so even I don’t have that much information on them despite being the student council president.
I was curious and asked Anzu about it but it looks like this Hashidate person is acting on their own and isn’t affiliated with the “Peace Party” – the strongest power in the “producer course”.
It looks like they’ve just transferred to the “producer course” recently.
Yuzuru: A transfer student at this time of the year?
It should be normal for transfer students such as myself and Anzu-san to transfer during the new school year instead.
Touri: Anyway, why is a transfer student getting so many votes? Isn’t that weird?
Are they someone famous in another industry or something?
Shinobu: It’s a mystery. I was thinking the same thing so I looked up celebrities and well-known people, but I couldn’t find someone who ticked all those boxes.
There isn’t enough information and I have the feeling that someone is purposely manipulating the information on them.
Mao: So this unsung individual who’s just appeared out of thin air is suddenly at the top at Yumenosaki? Did they get reincarnated from another world or something?
Touri: Don’t talk like one of those manga geeks. …Hm~ Something’s bugging me.
Hashidate, Hashidate… Hmm. I have a feeling I’ve heard that name before.

You reclined back on the bad passively as Claude placed wet, open-mouthed kisses against your neck, sucking on the skin and leaving dark marks wherever he went. Letting out a soft breath through your nose, you resigned yourself to not moving, knowing that the quicker he finished, the quicker he would leave you alone.
“You’re so pretty,” he murmured, “I’m so lucky.”
Luck. Luck had nothing to do with this sham of an engagement. You had been attacked by some mysterious outside force and sent to Triura. When your blood was tested, it was revealed that you were an Eldian, but instead of kicking you to the curb, as most countries would have when faced with a wayward Eldian girl without her memories, the Triurans saw an opportunity.
“You’ll be such a good mother. I can already imagine it. You’ll be even prettier filled with my children,” Claude said. In and out, in and out, the motions were painful and repetitive. You knew what to expect and so you just closed your eyes, willing it to be over soon.
Claude Tybur. The youngest of the three siblings, though still quite a few years older than you were. He was also famously the cruelest when compared with his unassuming sister Lara and his charismatic brother Willy.
Triura needed an alliance with the powerful Tybur family. The Tybur family needed a noble Eldian girl to marry to Claude so that he could produce heirs, one of which might inherit the Warhammer Titan once whoever the current holder might be’s time ran out. You solved both problems.
So you were adopted into the Triuran royal family, given the title of princess and then nearly immediately given away to Claude, who was delighted to have a bride as young and beautiful as you. It was a matter of pride for him.
You, for one, were in no position to complain. You were spoiled, whether in Triura or in Marley. Everything you wanted, you got. If you had to put up with Claude’s cruelty for the few minutes you saw him each day, then so be it.
In and out, in and out. You wanted him off of you. You never wanted him to come near you again. You did not move. As always, you let him have his wicked way with you. You had no choice, after all.
“Do you think this’ll be the one?” he grunted, face flushed.
“I should hope not. It would be shameful if we were to have a child out of wedlock,” you responded.
This was the wrong answer. Claude’s hand went around your neck, and the other shoved its fingers down your throat.
“You need to have as many children as possible in order to continue the Tybur line and ensure that there is a proper candidate for the Warhammer Titan. If you know what’s best for you, you’ll take this time. And out of wedlock? Shame? You needn’t worry about that. Do not forget your place, Eldian whore. You are only here because I allow it, but I can replace you easily if I so choose. Triura wouldn’t do anything. You are alone; you have no friends or allies. You belong to me. Do you understand?” he said. You nodded frantically, tears slipping out of your eyes as you stared into his cold, dead blue ones. He gave you a pleased smile, removing his fingers from your mouth and his hand from your throat. Bending down, he nuzzled the very spot he had just bruised.
“That’s right, pretty girl. You’re so good,” he cooed mockingly, caressing your sides and cupping your jaw until he finished, after which he collapsed on top of you, falling asleep within seconds, leaving you a mess with no escape.
Unbidden, a pair of jade green eyes flashed across your mind, and you frowned. Checking to make sure Claude was truly asleep, you sighed, whispering an apology to them.
“I’m...sorry.”
As soon as Claude had rolled off of you, you took a shower and then fairly ran to find your best friend and inform her of this latest development. She was where she always was, tending to the garden. Hiking up your skirts, you waded through the grass to tap her on the shoulder.
“Hey, Princess! How are you today?” she said, bending down and plucking a pink camellia from the bush and tucking it behind your ear. You gave her an impatient look.
“It happened again,” you said.
“What did?” she said.
“May! What do you think?” you snapped. The girl looked at you, raising one perfect eyebrow. Her caramel colored hair was tied back loosely in a messy bun, and her icy green eyes were impassive as she regarded you.
“You saw something?” she said. You sighed and nodded.
“Yes. Claude was...you know...and then I saw a pair of eyes that were the most beautiful shade of jade green I have ever seen, and I felt like I had disappointed them, somehow,” you said. May frowned, returning to pruning the camellia bush.
“Maybe you had a lover before, and you feel like you’re cheating on them now,” she said with a shrug.
“Am I?” you said.
“I don’t think so. I mean, it’s not like you remember him, or anything, really. He can hardly blame you,” she said.
“Plus, for all we know, he’s dead or something, killed in the same attack that claimed my memories. It’s not unlikely. We have no clue what happened or how I ended up in Triura, so…” you trailed off, feeling immensely saddened at the thought of this jade-eyed person’s demise.
“Or we could be wrong and he might not have been your lover, or even a he. Your memory’s a funny thing. I doubt it’ll come back until you’re surrounded by things that remind you of your past, but the problem is that we can’t exactly do that when we don’t know what your past is,” May said, handing you the pruning shears and gathering the fallen leaves she had cut away in a basket.
“It’s probably for the best that I don’t remember my life before all of this,” you said with a wistful sigh. She gave you a sad look.
“Rough day?” she said.
“When is it not? He called me a whore and threatened me, saying he’d cast me aside if I didn’t get pregnant this time,” you said, drawing your woolen cloak tighter around your shoulders as if it would protect you from Claude’s cruelty.
“You won’t,” May predicted. She was uncannily good at such things, having known when each of Willy Tybur’s children would be born, and even which gender they would be. This meant that she was right; you had not gotten pregnant, and even though you were scared, a part of you felt relieved. You didn’t want Claude’s demon child inside of you. You didn’t want any child inside of you, to be fair, but you did not want Claude’s most of all. It would be just another way for him to control you.
“Is it bad that I don’t feel upset?” you said as the two of you walked back towards the Tybur mansion.
“Well, you’re here to marry Claude and have his children, so in that sense, yes, it’s probably bad, but I understand your feelings. If I were you, I wouldn’t be upset, either,” she said, stopping by the shed to toss her pruning materials and the basket of cuttings in their proper spots.
“I really shouldn’t complain. The Tyburs are good to me, besides Claude of course. Willy and Lara are perfectly pleasant, and Willy’s children adore me. If I must put up with Claude and bear his children, then isn’t that a small price to pay?” you said. May hugged you tightly, stroking your hair.
“We both know it isn’t.”
Entering the mansion, you were immediately sought out by Willy’s five children. Fine and Vanessa, his two daughters, began to tug on your skirts, while Alois, Bruno, and Rico ran around you, chattering about something or another. You exchanged looks with May, who was doing her best to hide her amusement at your predicament.
“What’s the matter with all of you?” you said.
“Daddy said we can go into Liberio if we have an adult watching us! Uncle Claude and Aunt Lara said no, so we came to you and Miss May! Please, Aunt Y/N, please!” Fine said.
“Why would you ever want to go into Liberio? That’s the internment zone, isn’t it?” you said.
“Well, yeah, but it’ll be exciting! Like an adventure, you know? We’ve never been before. Please say yes! We’ll be very very good,” Bruno said, clasping his hands together and giving you puppy dog eyes. His siblings all did the same, and you sighed.
“Let me check with your father. I’ll take you, but only if he says yes,” you said.
Willy Tybur was lounging about in his sitting room when his children dragged you and May into it. He gave you both knowing looks.
“Did my hellions pounce upon you next?” he said.
“You guys are the hellion duo!”
You blinked. Whose voice had that been? It must have been another memory, though you did not recognize it. May gave you a worried look, and you shook your head.
“They want to go into Liberio. May and I are fine with taking them, but only if you’re okay with it,” you said.
“That’s fine. You five won’t bother Aunt Y/N and Miss May too much, will you? I better hear only good things from them, or no more field trips,” he threatened his children, though his voice was gentle and amused as he spoke, belying the fact that he was not serious. Still, all five took it to heart, saluting at their father.
“Yes, sir! We will be the bestest in the whole world!” Alois said. Willy smiled.
“Very well, then. Have fun!” he said.
The seven of you stuck out in Liberio like sore thumbs. The Tybur children were bright and happy, wearing neatly pressed clothes and having spotless faces. May wore a long pastel skirt and white blouse tucked into it, and she had on a sunhat to shade her face. You were the worst of all, with your dress that touched the ground, your wool cloak, and most importantly, the gold tiara adorning your hair, marking you as a princess amongst commoners.
People gaped at you in awe as you walked through the streets. The Tybur children raced ahead, pointing at the different sights and whispering amongst each other excitedly. You and May followed at a far more sedate pace, fond smiles on your faces as you watched over them.
“So, what was all that earlier?” she said to you after a moment.
“Another memory,” you sighed, knowing immediately what she was referring to.
“What now?” she said.
“A man saying ‘you guys are the hellion duo!’” you said.
“Hellion duo? Was the princess a troublemaker back in the day?” she teased. You shrugged.
“It’s possible. I wouldn’t know,” you said, tapping your head mockingly, cursing your own amnesia.
“Ah, that’s true. But this is good, right? You got two memories in one day! Let’s run through everything you’ve remembered so far, maybe it’ll help trigger something in you,” she said.
“It’s not much, you know that. There was a white horse that I rode sometimes, a town that I saw from the perspective of a rooftop, a dead girl with red hair that I gave a lily too, and now the eyes and the man’s voice,” you said.
“Right, and let’s go over where you got these memories from,” she prodded, even though she already knew the answer. It was an exercise in futility, to be sure, but one you engaged in anyways.
“The horse I remembered when I saw horses pulling the Tybur’s carriage, the town I remembered when I went in one of the airships for the first time, the girl I remembered when Fine was sick, the eyes I remembered when Claude...and the man’s voice I remembered when Willy called his children hellions,” you said, abruptly cutting yourself off when you got to Claude. May gave you a sympathetic look.
“So it seems like whenever you’re put into situations similar to the ones that you used to know, you remember more. That tracks up with most amnesia patients,” she said.
“Glad to know I’m not abnormal, but it seems my memory regaining is going to be a slow process, since so far, all of these situations have been at random. We don’t know what situations to put me in, so we can’t put me in them deliberately in order to force me to remember more,” you said. She pouted.
“I know, I was just hoping talking about it would make things better,” she said.
“Thank you for your help, May, truly. You’re the only one that even cares. It couldn’t matter less to the Tyburs if I remember who I truly am, and same with the Triurans. In fact, it’s better for them if I don’t. Kind though they may be, I have to remember that besides you, nobody here is truly my friend. Oi, Rico! Leave that poor man alone!” you shouted, seeing Rico messing with a tired looking blond man.
Rico froze and looked back at you with a guilty expression, darting back to your side as you reached the man.
“I’m so sorry about him, Mr…?” you trailed off, staring into his wolfish amber eyes. He looked at you in fear.
“Y/N?” he said.
“How do you know my name?” you said. He shook his head.
“Ah, right, of course. I’m Vice Chief Reiner Braun,” he said.
“Please, Reiner, you were joking, right? This is a joke. Please get off of me.”
This time, it was your voice that you remembered. You backed away from Reiner hesitantly, some instinctual part of you telling you that you had to run, that the man you were faced with was dangerous, though he had been nothing but polite in the few seconds you two had spoken.
“Lovely to meet you, Vice Chief. I’m Princess Y/N,” you said. His face was sorrowful when he spoke again.
“I know. Have a nice day, your royal highness,” he said, turning abruptly and marching off before you could say a word.
“Who was that? He’s pretty good looking,” May said, appearing beside you.
“Run along, Rico, but please try not to bother strangers anymore,” you reprimanded him. He nodded at you, wide-eyed, before scampering off to rejoin his siblings.
“That was Vice Chief Reiner Braun. He has the Armored Titan right now, if I’m correct. May, for some reason...I remember him. I don’t know how, or why, but at some point I met him, and I was scared,” you said.
“Maybe you were from Liberio. You must’ve been scared because he’s an Honorary Marleyan or something. I wouldn’t think too deeply into it. He would’ve said something if he knew you, right?” she said.
“Well, I guess that’s true. He knew my name, but I suppose that isn’t too hard to guess. How many princesses are visiting Marley at the moment, especially with Willy Tybur’s children?” you said, relaxing only slightly at May’s assurance.
“Right. This has gotta be some kind of record, huh? Three memories in one day?” she said.
“Certainly,” you said, “I wonder if it’s because my head injury finally healed and I’m more comfortable now, allowing my mind to relax and begin to try and remember things.”
“Could be true,” she said.
“Regardless of the reason, I think it’s a blessing in disguise. Maybe if I remember enough...I’ll be able to return to my old life. Provided that my old life is worth returning to,” you said.
“As long as you take me with you,” May said with a wry smirk.
“Why would you give up being one of the Tyburs’ favored servants to run away with me to god knows where?” you said. May’s stature was not one that came easily. She was treated as one of the Tyburs themselves instead of a low-class Eldian, and it was a role many dreamt of.
“It would be rather boring to deal with the Tyburs without a friend, now that I know what true friendship is like. We’ll suffer together, yeah? Us two Eldians against the world,” she said, interlocking your pinkies.
“I’m glad to have you as my best friend,” you said.
“I promise we’ll be best friends forever,” she said.
“Best friends, times infinity,” you agreed.
Returning to the mansion, corralling the Tybur children into their rooms, you and May were met with an irritated looking Claude and an equally irritated Willy.
“Why the hell did you let her visit Liberio?” Claude hissed.
“She’s a grown woman. You don’t own her. She’s free to do as she pleases, and she did me a great favor by watching the children,” Willy said.
“I didn’t give my permission,” Claude said.
“She doesn’t need your permission. Like I said, she’s a grown woman,” Willy responded, crossing his arms.
“She is my bride-to-be, and ergo my property!” Claude said.
“Excuse me, am I interrupting something?” you said, entering the room with May at your side. Claude turned his cold gaze to you, stalking across the room.
“Who the hell said you could go out today?” he said.
“Your brother,” you said.
“Are you engaged to my brother? Or are you engaged to me? You’ll come ask me for permission next time,” he said. You frowned at him but nodded demurely, not seeing the point of fighting. It would just lead to more pain and suffering for you.
“There won’t be a next time for quite a while, actually,” Willy said.
“What are you talking about?” Claude said.
“The princess has been called back to Triura to take care of some affairs there. She will return to her home country at once,” Willy said.
“I can accompany her,” May said. Willy seemed surprised but nodded.
“Very well, then. Pack your things, both of you,” he said.
“Wait a second! I will go as well,” Claude said.
“Claude, you were not invited,” Willy said.
“Neither was May!” Claude said.
“May will come as my lady in waiting. King Alexander and Queen Lanie should accept her then,” you said immediately.
“Whose side are you on, anyways?” Claude said.
“That is enough. The two of you, go pack your things. You will depart as soon as you are ready,” Willy said. You and May raced out of the room before Claude could find some new reason to make you stay.
“What a relief!” you said, giggling as you ran through the hallways.
“You can get a vacation from Claude, and maybe we can work on your memories, too!” she agreed, her eyes sparkling. You did not know how you had become lucky enough to have a friend like her, so dedicated and loyal.
You packed as many gowns and cloaks and tiaras as you could fit into your trunks before calling a few of the servants to bring them into the carriages. Triura was, thankfully, not too far from Marley, so the carriage ride would only be a few hours or so.
“I wonder why I was called back,” you said to May, who was sitting across from you, leaning her head against the window.
“Who knows?” she said.
“I just hope nothing’s wrong,” you said.
“Triura’s a peaceful country. I’m sure it’s nothing big. They probably just want to check up on how your engagement’s going,” she assured you.
“Well, I guess we’ll find out.”
The driveway to Triura’s palace was lined with ancient cypress trees that towered, nearly touching the sky for how tall they were. They formed a natural archway, almost, shading the paved drive and protecting it from the weather.
King Alexander and Queen Lanie were standing and waiting at the end of the driveway for you and May. Opening the door of the carriage, the coachman helped you down, and you both immediately dipped into curtseys.
“Princess. We have much to discuss,” King Alexander said, his voice and face serious. You gulped but nodded.
“Very well, your majesty,” you said, “Come, May.”
“Do you trust your friend?” Queen Lanie said.
“More than anyone. Anything you want to say to me, you can say it in front of her,” you said, grabbing May’s hand. King Alexander pursed his lips but motioned for you to follow him.
As soon as you were shut away in his private meeting room, the king turned to you.
“Who are you loyal to?” he said.
“Triura, of course,” you said.
“Y/N. Having seen how Claude treats her and how Willy and Lara do little to stop it, I can no longer in good conscience continue to serve them. It is why I’m here now, instead of back at the mansion,” May said.
“Good. Triura has decided that it is going to ally itself with Zeke Jaeger and the devils of Paradis,” he said.
“What? The island devils? What happened to the treaty with the Tyburs?” you said.
“We’re going to play both sides, as it is. The outcome of this war is far too uncertain; in order to assure Triura’s continued survival, we must have good relations with both the forces of the island and the Tyburs. You are key to both contracts. We will explain Zeke Jaeger’s plan to you and then send you to the island, where you will explain it to them. Once your business on the island has concluded, you will return to the Tyburs as if nothing happened,” Queen Lanie said.
“Fine, I’ll go, as it is my duty to Triura. But I will not force May to come,” you said.
“Like hell I won’t! I’m by your side, remember?” she said.
“May, the island devils are a savage people, from what I’ve heard. It won’t be anything like what life with the Tyburs is like,” you said.
“You’re a princess, and I’m your lady in waiting. They won’t do anything to us. They’d be foolish to try it, and I’m sure we’ll have guards, too,” she argued.
“Yes, we will send guards with you. Mark my words, every effort will be taken to ensure your protection and safety on the island,” King Alexander said.
“It’ll be suspicious if I return to the Tyburs’ alone, and I have no place in Triura. I’m coming with you, like it or not,” she said. You sighed in acquiescement.
“Alright, then. When do we set out?” you said.
“Your ship leaves tonight,” Queen Lanie said.
“Well, at least we won’t have to worry about unpacking our things,” you muttered.
The ship ride to Paradis was long. You and May lazed about, walking above deck and watching the sea until you grew bored; and when you were bored, you tried to jog your memories.
“The sea...I think it was important to me,” you said to her, staring at the water as the ship cruised through the waves. There was a sense of home, of longing and wonder that you felt as you basked in the brilliant blue.
“Does it have a memory with it?” she said.
“No. No, I don’t think I ever got to see it, but I think I wanted to. What a shame, I must’ve lived in some landlocked country or something,” you said, feeling bad for your previous self.
“Then let me officially welcome you to the sea!” May said, spreading her arms out. You rolled your eyes.
“Bit late for that, don’t you think?” you said.
“Now you’ve finally been officially welcomed. It’s never too late for that!” she said.
“Thanks, May. Means a lot.”
Paradis Port was nothing special; indeed, it was downright primitive compared to Marley or Triura’s. It was lucky that there were only two ships docking, yours and the one from Hizuru.
You had never met the Azumabitos, but they were famously greedy, and you were not looking forward to having to meet them. Still, they were friendly enough, so you supposed it wouldn’t be so bad.
“And now, her royal highness, the Princess Y/N L/N of Triura!” the herald called.
“That’s our cue,” you said to May, who grinned at you as you disembarked the ship.
“Time to meet these so-called devils,” she said.
Immediately, your eyes were drawn to a group of people that looked to be roughly you and May’s age. They were staring at you in shock, their faces white and hands shaking, as if you were the devil. As you watched, one of them, a particularly handsome boy, began to smile and run towards you. You were taken aback. Was this some sort of traditional greeting on the island?
“Y/N!” he said. Before he could reach you, though, he was tackled by your guards. They were famously protective, and you were glad that they were there, lest you be assaulted by this random boy. He struggled against them, but their grip was too strong.
“Let go of me, bastards! Let go, I’ve waited two years for this! Y/N, tell them to let go! Come on, tell them we’re friends!” he said. You frowned at him before giving May a perplexed look. She seemed equally as lost, biting her lip.
“I’m sorry?” you said. You were quite sure you had never met him in your life, let alone been his friend. You had never even been on this island before.
“It’s me! Eren! You know me!” he said. You felt bewildered, looking around for some sort of aid. His friends seemed confused as well, though understanding had dawned upon the blond one’s face.
“I’m very sorry, but I’m afraid I don’t,” you said.
The only way you could describe them at this moment was horrified. The handsome boy, Eren, gazed at you with huge, wounded eyes, going limp in your guards’ grasp. The blond boy buried his face in his hands, and the girl with braided hair’s jaw dropped.
“The hell kind of joke is this?” Eren said.
“Is this a typical greeting in Paradis?” you said, furrowing your brow. The customs of the island were a mystery to you and the rest of the world, but perhaps this was what they did.
“Why are you acting like you don’t know anything? What is wrong with you?” he snapped.
“Excuse me?” you said.
“Eren, that’s enough. I think she has amnesia,” the blond boy said.
“How did you know that?” May said.
“By the walls, this is a joke, right? This is all a fucking joke or something. She’s not supposed to forget me! We were going to meet again, but not like this!” Eren said.
“Did I know you before or something? I’m sorry, I don’t have any memories from before I arrived in Triura. Although, I don’t know how I would’ve known you. I’ve no clue how I would have gotten to Triura from this island,” you said.
“Did you know me? Did you know me? Oh, Sina, you really have forgotten everything,” Eren groaned.
“Come on, Eren. Let’s go. We can talk to her later,” the girl with the blonde braids said. Her pear green eyes pierced into yours, as if she was searching for something. You tilted your head, but obviously, whatever she was looking for, she did not find. She turned away in disappointment, and you shivered, bringing your cloak tighter around you.
“That was weird,” May commented as you rode in the carriage towards Paradis Castle. You snorted.
“You’re telling me. That Eren kid was really upset I didn’t recognize him,” you said.
“He’s the one with the Founding Titan, did you know?” she said.
“No, I didn’t. Claude hardly found such things important to tell me. Is he really? Wonder what he wants with me, then,” you said.
“You must’ve known him! Maybe he’s the key to regaining your memories,” May said in delight.
“Do you think I was from this island?” you said.
“It’s possible, although you’re right in saying that it’s very odd that you ended up in Triura of all places,” she said.
“Agreed. We can worry about this whole situation later, at any rate. For now, we just need to focus on informing the Paradisians of Zeke’s plan,” you said.
The Azumabitos had arrived at the castle far earlier than you and May, most likely because they had not been held up having a conversation with the people of Paradis. When you joined them in the courtroom, Lady Azumabito was crying about something. You gave her a startled glance.
“This girl is the rightful heir to the Azumabito line!” she sniffed, pointing at a beautiful girl with short, dark hair and grey eyes.
“How fortunate that you were able to meet her, then,” you said before smiling at the girl, “You have lovely hair, by the way.”
“Thanks,” she said, her eyes wide when she looked at you. You remembered her as one of the ones from the port, and you wondered if she had known you before, too.
“Well,” you said, clearing your throat uncomfortably, “Let’s go meet the queen, then, and inform you all of Zeke’s plan.”
You sat beside Lady Azumabito, with May on your other side. Queen Historia looked equally surprised to see you as everyone else had been, and you were beginning to wonder what the implications of all of this were. Had you been an islander in your past life?
“Zeke’s plan, um, has three parts,” you said nervously, well aware of Eren staring at you as if you were a precious piece of art or some sort of angel. Your cheeks warmed, and you kept your eyes focused firmly on the paper that had Zeke’s plan detailed on it.
“First, there will be a small-scale version of the Rumbling, in order to test its power,” Lady Azumabito said, noticing your nerves. You gave her a grateful smile before taking a deep breath and continuing.
“As well as testing its power, this will demonstrate your strength to the world on a non-catastrophic scale,” you said.
“While preparations for this are being made, we will also work to improve and modernize your military. With Triura and Hizuru’s aid, you should be able to become strong enough that, in time, you will be able to defend your country without the need for the Rumbling,” Lady Azumabito said.
“And the final part of the plan is for someone with royal blood to inherit the Beast Titan. This person will then need to continue to have children that will take the Beast after them, as for the Founding Titan’s powers to work without it being possessed by someone of the royal family, they must be in contact with a titan that has royal blood,” you said.
“I will do it,” Queen Historia said calmly.
“Absolutely not!” Eren said, slamming his hands on the table, his eyes filled with rage. They were a pretty shade of jade, though they had darkened with fury. You flinched back, scared by the anger he was displaying.
“It’s necessary to have a royal titan shifter at all times,” Lady Azumabito tried to explain. Eren turned his fierce glare upon her.
“We aren’t cattle that will be forced to breed in order to survive. Find another way,” he spat.
“There is no other way. I’m sorry, but it’s what must be done, according to Zeke. He could be wrong, but…” you trailed off, frowning.
“No, he’s not wrong,” Eren said, shaking his head, “The one time I used the Founding Titan’s powers, I was touching a titan that had royal blood, I’m sure of it.”
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Commander Hange, the leader of a branch of their military called the Survey Corps, said.
“I didn’t know what you’d do to Historia,” he said with a frown. You gave him a pleading look.
“Please, I know you don’t like it, but it’s your country’s best chance for survival,” you said. His face softened impercibtly when he saw you, but he did not give in.
“It isn’t fair,” he said.
“Zeke still has a few years left. We can execute the first two steps of his plan, at least, and revisit the Queen Historia issue later, but I’m afraid you won’t really have much of a choice in this matter. My apologies, but the world isn’t a fair place,” you said, your hand unconsciously going to your stomach. Like it or not, you were in the same situation as Queen Historia. Soon, you would have to have Claude’s children, and just like Queen Historia, you had no choice in the matter. Unlike Queen Historia, you could not even pick who the father would be.
Eren’s sharp eyes went to where your hand was placed, and he gave you a surprised look. Face burning, you drew your hand away and turned back to Queen Historia, who nodded at you gratefully.
“Hey. We need to talk,” Eren said as everyone left the courtroom. You and May paused, and you turned to look at him curiously.
“Certainly. What’s the matter?” you said.
“Privately,” he stressed.
“I’ll go. This could be your chance to get your memories back! Good luck!” May said, darting off. You groaned, watching her go before turning to Eren, who was standing there and waiting for you.
“Lead the way, then,” you said, following after him through the maze-like hallways of the castle without complaint. Once you were a safe distance away from everyone else, he paused and gave you a look.
“Are you pregnant?” he said.
“I don’t see how it’s any of your business,” you said.
“You — Sina, I fucking hate this. Fine. You’re right, it’s none of my business,” he said, running a hand through his hair.
“I’m not, by the way,” you said, “Not yet, at least.”
“Is he good to you?” he said. You did not respond, and he scowled at you, grabbing your hands in his own.
“I have everything I could ever want,” you said.
“I don’t give a rat’s ass. Does he hurt you?” he said.
“Why should I tell you? Why do you care?” you said. He stared at you as if you had said the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard.
“You seriously don’t remember me. Not even a little bit,” he said mournfully.
“I do not. I’m sorry. Were we close?” you said. He laughed bitterly, closing his eyes in pain.
“Yeah, we were close. We were best friends, Y/N. Ever since we were two years old, we’ve been best friends. We all thought you were gone forever these past couple of years, but you’re not. You’re back, and you’re alive, but yet I think I had more of a chance with you when you were dead than I do now,” he said.
You racked your brain. Where were your memories now? If there was ever a time for something to happen, it was now, but nothing appeared. You stared at Eren, wishing you could remember what he did, but you just couldn’t. You were his best friend, or so he claimed, but he was a stranger to you.
“I think you might be right on that count,” you said. He let out a choked sob.
“Don’t do this. You’re joking, right? It isn’t funny anymore,” he said.
“It’s not a joke, Eren. I genuinely don’t know who you are. I really, really want to, but I just don’t,” you said.
“Do you remember any of us? Tullia? Armin or Mikasa? Jean? What about Petra?” he said. You shook your head.
“No, I don’t. Like I said, I have no memories. I wish things were different, but the fact remains that they aren’t. Maybe one day I’ll get them back, but in the meantime, this is who I am. Princess Y/N L/N of Triura,” you said.
“So there’s a chance you’ll get them back?” he said. You shrugged.
“Yes. When I’m placed in situations that mirror ones I’ve been in before, I sometimes get memories. It’s May and I’s hope that if I go through enough of these situations, I’ll be able to get most if not all of my memories back. However, it’s not really been a reliable indicator of anything. After all, it isn’t like anybody knew what my past was. We didn’t know what situations to place me in, even if we wanted to. As it is, the Tyburs haven’t exactly been falling all over themselves to find a cure for my amnesia, either. I expect that’s because I will make a far better wife for Claude if I don’t even know who I am,” you said.
“But I know what your past is! And so do Tullia and Armin and Mikasa and Jean and Captain Levi and Sasha and Connie! We can try to help you get your memories back!” Eren said excitedly.
“So I really was an island devil, then,” you said with a small frown, “How amusing. Say, did I ever know Reiner Braun?”
“He was the one that killed you. Fed you to a titan, or so we thought,” Eren said coldly.
“What? But when I saw him in Liberio, he didn’t seem at all like he knew me,” you said. Eren shrugged.
“Reiner’s a good actor. Who knows what was going through his mind back then? Anyways, what do you say? Will you let us help you?” he said, offering you his hand. You stared at it for a second, weighing your options.
Like May had said, this was your chance. You could get your memories back, and you could maybe even escape Claude for good.
This motivated you. More than anything, you wanted to escape Claude. If the people of the island could offer you protection from your fiance, then I’d be a fool to deny them, even if it did mean you were stuck with the island devils.
The island devils. It seemed you were one of them, if Eren was to be believed. And for some reason, you did believe him. There was an honest openness to his kind gaze. His jade green eyes shone with affection, and you realized that it was his eyes you had seen, back when you had lain with Claude. You had known him in the past, and what’s more, he had been important to you.
You took his hand and shook it. A pleased grin formed on his face, and your expression mirrored his own.
“Well, I’m willing to give it a shot, Eren. Yes — I want you to help me get my memories back.”

They hinted that the 3rd Season is currently on hold, with the animated production frozen indefinitely at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio (NAS), now a part of the 'Nickelodeon Group' under the American streaming company 'Netflix'.

At the start of a pre-recorded Q&A forum on YouTube with a new video message to their web streaming viewers: "You guys are on this journey with Miko Kubota and Hector Nieves (Mee-KO & Hi-5), we have so many other ideas that we wanna do with this project. But you know, it is what it is, we do have a secret Season 3 so… Nickelodeon someday, and hopefully they'll let that out, and let us show you what are plans were with 'Glitch Techs'. But for now, continue to enjoy this show, it really helps us out and keep the awareness of this show out there by you guys sharing it, talking about it and everything that you guys continue to do", Mr. Eric Robles, who is a co-creator of 'Glitch Techs' from a video message and spoke exclusively to 'K5 News FM: Dumaguete' (formerly Radyo Bandera Sweet FM network).
As part of the 4th anniversary celebration, the male YouTuber 'SeekingTheSky' treated fans to an exclusive sneak peek of the animatic episode #7 titled "Mobs and Minions" during this said forum, offering a glimpse into what lies ahead in the upcoming season.
K5 News Patrol #4 reporter of OneNETnews, Station Manager & President of OneNETtv Channel; and a current 'Hinobi' employee in Bailley City, Texas, U.S.A., spilled the beans on 'Glitch Gauntlet' during a candid couch discussion with her daughter's father 'Mr. Hugh Kubota' by wiping system memories of our brains, pretending none of them is going to happen except only Miko. He has ensured if they can play together with their family gaming sessions for Kubota(s).
During the virtual Q&A forum, Mr. Milano reflected on the show's journey over the past four (4) years, highlighting both challenges and successes. Fans were treated to the inside scoop, and a glimpse behind the scenes, building anticipation for the forthcoming 3rd season.
Yet, in a recent Instagram post (owned by Meta Platforms Inc.) in late-November 2023, Mr. Eric Robles hinted at 'Glitch Techs' bidding farewell to the streaming company 'Netflix', and transitioning to 'Paramount+' in the near future, adding a new chapter to the show's evolution.

Find the Words Tag Game
I was tagged for this game by @kmomof4 and @laianely. I enjoyed reading excerpts from their lovely WiPs, so I decided to play, too.
Rules: Find the words in all of your current WiPs and post a snippet containing the words, then tag others with their own words.
My words: eyes, smile, soft
I have three WiPs, including one that has a chapter finished and another started.
Pet for Rent
Eyes (Ch. 1)
She selected one at a time, reading about their breed and temperament. When she brought up the picture of the fourth candidate, the big, chocolate brown eyes and happy expression nearly made her heart melt.
Smile (Ch. 2)
Laying in bed that night, Emma smiled dreamily as she replayed their conversation in her mind. She may be venturing into self-forbidden territory imposed ever since Henry’s father abandoned her, but Killian Jones intrigued her and she couldn’t find it within herself to care.
Soft (Ch. 1)
Emma bent down and stroked the sleek fur on Norman’s back and sides. “He’s so soft,” she commented.
Bad Boy Hook
(I've been calling it that for lack of a better title, but I just might keep it!)
Eyes -
Choking on her own blood, her answer came out as a gurgle. Her fingers clawed at the leather of his vest, desperately trying to cling to life, but to no avail. He watched the last flicker of light go out of her eyes, then the evil witch was no more.
Smile -
“Yes,” Snow smiled slightly. “Lancelot married us so Ruth could witness it before she passed.”
Soft -
Hook decided to use the bean to create a portal and, in a surprising show of generosity, gave the vial of ashes from the wardrobe to Mary Margaret ‘for the sake of nostalgia.’
“I had no idea you had such a soft side,” Emma commented.
“I don’t,” he was quick to reply. “Just don’t have any need for sparkly dirt.”
And from the next installment of Long Overdue Conversations:
I've only written 147 words for this so far. 'Eyes' & 'soft' are not two of them.
Smile -
Their moment was interrupted when Leroy and one of his brothers came bursting through the door of Granny’s, drunkenly singing. It was all Killian could do not to throttle the dwarfs, but Emma simply squeezed his hand and gave him a reassuring smile.
I will tag @xarandomdreamx @sotangledupinit @kymbersmith-90 and @the-darkdragonfly with the words KISS, WATER, HAIR

Eight years ago, runner Alexi Pappas raced the 10,000 meters at the Rio Olympics, simultaneously setting a national record for her country (Greece) and a personal record for herself. This year, she’s back at the Games, but in a very different role: a mentor to the current class of Olympians. “I think that the [International Olympic Committee] knows that I've become this sort of fairy godsister figure,” she says. Although she’s taking part in the mass participation Paris 2024 Marathon Pour Tous and leading a shakeout run beforehand, Pappas is mainly in Paris to chat with any athletes craving a supportive ear from someone who’s been in their shoes before. “I really care about mentoring the Olympic community as much as I can so that these athletes feel like they can enjoy their experience and be present and also feel equipped for the moments after, which are really jarring and scary,” she says. Pappas herself has been very candid about how the post-Olympic blues that hit after achieving her dreams in Rio led to a deep depression. “I would have loved if someone was like, ‘Hey, if you want, [let’s] talk about this whole thing, no matter how it goes.’ Because I was really confused afterwards and felt totally ashamed of feeling so down after running a national record and a personal best in the fastest [women’s 10K] race in history,” she says. Today, as someone who’s consistently faced her mental health struggles head-on, Pappas now sees herself as a kind of camp counselor for other athletes. She believes her hard-earned experiences have given her useful tools that she can share with today’s Olympians to help them think through the moments before, during, and after competition. Pappas's new podcast on mentorship In fact, mentorship has come to be so meaningful for Pappas that she’s even starting a podcast about it, called “Mentor Buffet,” launching today. It’s part of Rich Roll’s network, Voicing Change Media, and each episode speaks to someone successful about the mentors who helped them get where they are today. The inaugural lineup includes actors Rainn Wilson and Matthew McConaughey, runner Mary Cain, the DJ Diplo, and South Park producer Debbie Liebling. Pappas says she’s deliberate about highlighting all different kinds of careers because, as she puts it, “mentors are the one consistent through line in the lives of all accomplished people,” she says. The title of the show comes from a chapter in Pappas’s 2021 memoir Bravey, which focused on losing her mom to suicide at a young age. “I was lost in a really confusing and jarring and painful way without this one keystone mentor,” she says. “And so I just sort of patchwork-quilted together what I admired about other people. If I learned a secret about how a friend's older sister put on her lip gloss, I was like, ‘That's mine now.’" Pappas became passionate about finding the mentors who could help guide her to become the athlete and person she wanted to be. In particular, she points to Deena Kastor as one of her biggest influences. When they ran together as part of the Mammoth Track Club, Kastor helped Pappas learn how to handle the pain of long runs simply by sharing her own thought process. Pappas also highlights Shalane Flanagan, who helped her make smarter long-term career decisions. "What [mentors] really do is help you have permission to believe in yourself."—Alexi Pappas “What these people really do is help you have permission to believe in yourself, because they hold space for you, or they literally give you tools and specific pathways to success,” she says. Grateful for those who’ve helped her, Pappas has been paying it forward over the past few years now, and has a reputation for inviting other athletes to stay at her house to talk through their lives and career choices. She says that acting as a mentor this way just feels natural for her, and being able to open up about some of her own lowest moments and the personal lessons she’s learned from them has given those experiences new meaning.
“A lot of the things that I might share with people, I learned in an extremely uncomfortable, painful way,” she admits. “But I think there's something about reaching down into the deep trough of mud and then pulling it out, blooming it like a flower, right?” She believes that the power of mentorship is an especially important message to share at a time when there’s so much emphasis placed on the glory of “forging your own path” and making it “on your own.” She thinks it’s misguided to put so much stock in individualism—why wouldn’t you want to learn from the experiences and wisdom of others? As she puts it, “One plus one can equal more than two.” Leaning into the beauty of mentorship has shifted her perspective on the hurdles she’s personally faced. “As an Olympian, you chase this goal that's very objective and you drive toward it and you ignore the world. That's how you get to the Games. And yet, the greatest lessons we learn in life are often from everything that's not in our control,” she says. “I think becoming this mentor figure has allowed me to really embrace that the mystery of the universe is good, in this kind of unpredictable land of lessons and experiences.”

Like Pieces of a Puzzle
Chapter 4
Summary: What if Harry wasn't the only extra student called upon to participate in the Triwizard Tournament? Far from the most popular candidate, Draco not only has to take on the trials but also deal with his unexpected feelings for Hermione. Will he be able to face the challenges as well as follow his heart?
Chapter length will vary. I'll be referencing both the books and movie versions. Some things from what I've previously written will be mentioned, all of which you can find here.
And for those who asked to be tagged: @dayane245love
Draco kept himself hidden behind a shelf full of thickly bound books, unsure what exactly he was trying to accomplish. The smell of old paper gave off a musty scent, as the many volumes appearing aged and partly covered in dust. He skimmed the names just to give the impression of being busy. For himself it seemed. Almost every student currently sat in the Great Hall eating, except for a spare few he spotted on his way in. Otherwise, no one really paid him much mind.
Yet it felt as if the books themselves watched him. The quietness of the area made the thumping against his chest sound as fierce as a beating drum. Draco peered around, chastising himself for feeling rather stalkerish at the moment.
But there she sat. At the end of the table, the side closest to the window in her own secluded little space. Countless books were stacked to her right. Her eyes remained glued to the page she read, cutting off any outside disturbances.
He assumed her aim included research, yet the topic eluded him. They started lessons today and the professors rarely assigned homework, so whatever her investigation entailed it probably pertained to a personal matter or maybe she dove into her studies to avoid thinking about this morning.
He still, annoyingly enough, tolerated an irritating pang of guilt for laughing, but Draco seriously started to consider letting the sensation vex him until it faded.
Or else he’d have to talk to her and he knew he’d likely say something spiteful and therefore go through the very same sequence all over again. It was probably too late anyway since his emotions tended to bounce all over the place even without her in the room.
Only because – well, he didn’t quite care to analyze the situation. He hated Mudbloods and he stood by the prejudice. Right?
Draco hadn’t notice much of anything until a hand tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to face another Slytherin in his class, she held a near impatient look on her face, arms crossed almost as if she expected something from him.
“What do you want, Greengrass?” he asked, shifting so he no longer gave so much as an inkling of observing Hermione, which did him little good.
Daphne let out a breath. “I’ve been trying to get your attention. You’re in the way of the shelf. Some people actually come here to check out books, not stare at people from behind them. Why are you looking at her anyway? If it’s for a silly reason, such as going over there and making things worse, I think you’ve taunted her enough for one day.”
Glad for the misinterpretation of observation, he readily went along.
“Pansy’s the one who shoved her, not me,” Draco nearly snapped. He stepped aside, letting her brows the titles. “Since when do you care about other people getting laughed at anyway?”
Both Daphne and Astoria, her younger sister, were well acquainted with him by this point and therefore able to start easy conversations. While they usually kept to their own group of friends, it never bothered him to speak to either of the siblings, despite Astoria being in her second year.
“I don’t, not really,” she supplied, shrugging her shoulders. “I can’t understand the purpose of it all. You end up in detention or get points taken away.”
Draco scoffed, the whole thing coming off as nothing less than absurd. “What do points matter when Dumbledore’s only going to make up a random event to let Gryffindor win yet again. As if Potter needs a bigger ego.”
“They’ve beaten us three times in a row, but he was rather ambiguous about the additional points he added in our first year.” She came off nonchalant about it, as if not really caring one way or the other.
“What do you need a book of advanced charms for?” he questioned once Daphne pulled out the large hardcover. “From my understanding, you do rather well in Flitwick’s class.”
Daphne moved to the table, placing the heavy book down. “We both know Hermione Granger will be top student again and she probably already knows half the spells in here. I figured I’d practice a few of the more difficult ones anyway. I’m not competitive, I don’t want to beat her or anything. I do like a challenge though.”
“A lot of good that class does anyone,” Draco complained, leaning his back against the shelf. He ducked his head. “If not for the Triwizard Tournament this place would be as dull and boring as always. I suppose it’s worth not having any Quidditch games.”
He grew tired of Marcus Flint’s obnoxious bouts of yelling whenever they lost, usually blaming Draco for not catching the snitch. Maybe he taunted Harry too much while they played, even so the scolding almost made him threaten to leave and take back the brooms his father supplied. He enjoyed the sport and possessed a talent for it, so he stayed, aware the team would certainly suffer greatly if he decided to quit. And honestly, it gave him something to look forward to.
“If not for the age limit, do you think you’d put your name in?” she asked, absently flipping through a few pages. “It’s too chancy for my liking, but I’m sure that’s not the case for everyone.”
“Risk my life for 1,000 Galleons, no.” He had plenty of money and truthfully, Draco knew his level of abilities were lacking in the first place. “The glory bit Dumbledore went on about doesn’t really interest me either. So you win a few games, big deal.”
Being exempted from exams sounded great, given his grades, yet not enough to tempt him if possible.
“I’m surprised anyone considered bringing it back since so many people died in the past,” Daphne pointed out.
“My father told me all about it,” Draco said, knowing more than most. “Even after the mayhem during the Quidditch World Cup, it’s all about how the ministry’s going to benefit. Fudge wants the wizarding world to see him in a positive light. He thinks encouraging school relations will help improve his own image. If everything goes well, it just might.”
He remembered Harry and the others running into him during the chaotic night. He managed to play off the strange twist of concern over Hermione getting seen pretty well, not really sure why it mattered all the sudden.
And even beforehand while in front of Lucius, of course he acted as predictable as possible, despite the reprimanding words for boasting. He supposed the jab in the stomach made less of an impression to the passing crowd than what he usually received.
“Somehow, I’m not surprised. Anyway, I better get this checked out before class starts.” Daphne picked up her book, holding it in one arm.
“I know I don’t want to be late for double Divination,” he sardonically complained. “I think I’d rather gorge my eyes out than gaze into a crystal ball for three hours.”
Draco looked up in time to see Hermione walk past, her paces sped up as if in a rush. She didn’t appear to notice him, which sent a wave of relief because he sought to avoid any speculation about him following her, even if unintentionally done.
Hermione, on the other hand, had her thoughts on other matters. She did well ignoring those she passed in the hallway on her way to Arithmancy. Only some students pointed in her direction and remarked on the morning’s event, Pansy in particular commented rather loudly about it. But she went on walking as if not hearing a word.
By the time dinner came around the mentions ceased a great deal. Hermione barely noticed how hungry she became until an array of food set before her. She hesitated a moment before grabbing a roll, spreading a bit of butter on the inside.
“I see you’re eating again,” Ron stated, sitting across from her. He immediately dumped a bunch of food on his plate, not even waiting for a reply before he shoved a forkful in his mouth.
“Well, I figured there’s more effective ways to help the house-elves.” Plus, starving herself hardly seemed worth the effort when the meal was prepared whether she decided to partake or not. “Why are you so late?”
“Malfoy knocked over everything on our table,” Harry replied matter-of-factly, as if the occurrence happened daily. “He shoved past us and accidentally caught part of the leg with his foot or so he says. Professor Trelawney wouldn’t let us leave until we cleaned everything up.”
Hermione shook her head. “It’s obvious he’s probably annoyed about the homework.” Her tone turned more chastising as she continued. “Honestly, Ron, you shouldn’t make jokes like that.”
“How did you hear about it?” His brows furrowed before glancing over at Harry. “How did she find out? It happened ten minutes ago.”
Harry merely shrugged.
“Lavender told me on our way here. I don’t think she appreciated the comment very much.” Hermione took a couple more things and started to eat as quickly as possible. She already wasted enough time talking.
“Why don’t you slow down? The food’s not going anywhere,” Harry remarked. He noted, however, how she hardly took much to begin with and skipped the two prior meals.
Hermione paused to take a sip of her drink. “I have to get back to the library. There’re still things I need to look up. Of course, if either of you want to help, I might find what I need sooner.”
“The house-elves are fine.” An edge of irritation layered Ron’s speech, unable to understand why she cared so much. Not like he could persuade her otherwise; she’d merely harp on the matter more severely.
“They most certainly are not,” she countered, almost too sharply. “Harry, you’ll come, won’t you?” She really needed another set of eyes, maybe some company as well, though she left the last part out.
He glanced between his two friends, not too keen on ditching dinner. “As much as I’d enjoy spending hours searching through books, I’ve got loads of homework to do.”
“And who can we thank for that?” Draco asked, just joining the Slytherin table now. “How about next time you keep your wise cracks to yourself, Weasley.”
Hermione automatically stiffened. Although she had her back turned to him, he stood inches away. The unexpected sound of his voice made her heart leap in her chest. But he spoke no more and turned away from the trio. It lasted seconds. A measly two sentences managed to strike relentlessly.
“Well, it’s nice to see you take some initiative, Harry. See you both later.” Hermione got up in haste, ignoring Ginny’s glance, aware she’d ask questions later depending on how late she returned to the common room.
Hermione hated how easily he flustered her. A single breath and he caused her to dash from the room. It frustrated her greatly. If Draco found out, he’d probably fall into a hysteric uproar, unable to control his pleasure of poking fun. And all the while, relentlessly ridiculing her in bitter remarks about her so-called low stature in comparison to his pure-blood status.
Draco would be nothing less than appalled by a Muggle-born witch falling for him. He barely tolerated being in the same room. Hermione thought it better to keep reminding herself every chance he entered her thoughts.
A too often occurrence, frankly.
“I’ll be right back,” Harry uttered. He received no verbal response from Ron, so he rushed out of the Great Hall, calling out once in the hallway. Catching up with Hermione, who maintained a perplexed expression, a rush of embarrassment hit (the kind where he wasn’t quite sure how to structure his words and they kind of blurted out prior to any forethought). “I wanted to see if you’re doing okay. I mean, you left suddenly and… Malfoy hasn’t been bothering you, has he?”
“No. Of course, not. Why?” The pitch of her voice hit a bit higher than normal. And perhaps she underwent a sensation of feeling off balance and nervous as if a great swarm of butterflies were trapped under her ribs, but admitting Draco pestered her in the complete opposite way he supposed? She couldn’t.
Hermione tried to think of something else to say or do, anything than simply standing there and enduring an acute moment of awkwardness.
“I just noticed you tensed up is all.” Sitting right next to her, he witnessed the slight stall in movement, the way she practically froze. “He did leave lunch early, I thought maybe he said something.”
“He hasn’t. In fact, I haven’t seen him since.” Hermione offered her appreciation of his concern through a light smile. “You should probably get back to Ron. I’m fine, really,” she added, noting his uncertainty.
Harry nodded. “Maybe I can help out later, if I start my predictions for the month.” Which he’d probably make up anyway, as he typically did for Trelawney’s class . “I doubt I’ll be able to convince Ron, though Ginny might agree.” He left it there, returning to find Fred and George talking to their brother about Professor Moody.
Pansy noticed Harry come back and leaned forward, leaving her curiosity unmasked. “Do you think something’s going on between the two of them?”
A flare of anger flared through Draco’s body upon the question, not quite willing to acknowledge the resentful stir as jealousy, even if he recognized the impression from two years ago with Lockhart. He refused to think of that specific instant simply because he kept telling himself it didn’t matter.
Nor did it matter in this case.
“Potter and Granger? Why should I care?” Though he practically countered his statement by stabbing his fork rather violently into his pot pie, earning an odd look from not only Pansy but Crabbe and Goyle as well.

Las Nevadas and Poker Cards theory
/rp /dsmp (all of the mentioned people are characters of the Dream SMP. not the actual content creators)
---
So this began with a random thought floating in my head about the new characters introduced to the Las Nevadas lore in Episode 3. This sparked the reawakening of my obsession with cartomancy and the meanings behind playing cards. So subsequently, I decided to associate the new four characters to the four symbols of the playing card deck
For a brief intro to playing cards, the standard 52-card deck uses the French suit - which include the diamonds, hearts, clubs and spades. Each suit/symbol includes three face cards (King, Queen and Knave) and ten numbered cards (Ace of ... to Ten of ...) The suit of cards varied throughout history before the French suit became popularised. Most of the derived meanings of the card suits themselves have mostly been very much after the creation of the suits, but I still think their symbolism is still interesting to look back into. The changes to each suit along with each varying meaning will be highlighted in individual sections. So, let’s start with:
Foolish
For the first chapter, Quackity mocks Foolish of being inferior to the tempered god he used to be. Foolish in his current state is a pacifist, a normally non-violent character who doesn’t take the offence. To Quackity, that achieves nothing, backed up by how Foolish was killed off in a selfless act and could not fight back. Quackity mocks the temple Foolish built, saying it is merely an empty shell only made to look pretty. Like Foolish, it is only impressive on the outset, but when it comes to its use it does not serve a function. The magnificent temple is merely for show, like how Foolish appears as a god of undying yet still was able to lose a life. Quackity actively tries to paint a picture of that perception to Foolish, trying to convince Foolish that such a lifestyle has not been beneficial. What Quackity offers to Foolish is a chance to make a name for himself, by doing the opposite. Quackity wants Foolish to cause destruction instead of creation. He wants Foolish to be a cannon, to take the brunt of
Clubs in the French suit have been thought to represent peasants. They are the weaker members of the society, the ones without a legacy to leave behind unlike those higher above them. This is what Quackity view Foolish as, a mere peasant who does not leave his own mark even despite being a god. When it comes to tarot readings, the clubs are seen as the wands. This particular suit tends to refer to calls to action, associated with the element of fire. They represent both aspects of creation to build and cook, and of destruction. It is symbolic of passion, where one’s motivations lie within. Meanings behind the wands deal with one’s own consciousness, what one’s own ambitions, what makes a person create action. It’s also interesting to see that Foolish in the past, brought destruction to a town with lava. So with this suit, Foolish is seen to need to take more offensive action. He needs to take the chance with Las Nevadas to create that action, to create destruction as he did before. To become more than the lowly being he is now.
Charlie
This one is trickier to pinpoint what suit he is since this is the first and currently only time we’ve seen him in the lore. In the time he was introduced, we can still deduce something about his story in the Las Nevadas arc. For instance, his role in Las Nevadas is being a mole for Quackity. Like a more goopy Hercules Mulligan, he can acquire intel and slink out with ease. He is a shapeshifter technically, able to mimic anything. The only seen problem he has is his unawareness of the world around him, basically akin to a child experiencing the world for the first time.
So I associate Charlie with the Spades, the commonly associated symbol for nobility. To Quackity, Charlie is not someone too hard to influence while at the same time may seem to have influence with the knowledge he holds. In past iterations of the spade, it was a sword. Even in Italian, the swords suit was referred to as a spade before it became the symbol. Charlie is the secret weapon with the intel he holds. Charlie is the most important to Quackity, the one who holds the most value above all the other candidates. Unlike the others, Quackity doesn’t berate or deliberately ruin what Charlie has, mostly because he has nothing to begin with. Instead, he is praised and gifted a home, like how nobility, when they are born, are simply gifted their titles. As the swords suit in tarot, spades represents aspects of thinking and communication. From his spy job, Charlie might open his eyes to a complicated world in a childlike manner. He’ll learn slowly but surely, whilst slowly having his perceptions being altered by Quackity. He already has shown doing this by lying to Charlie about snow. It is Q’s goal to coerce the easily swayable Charlie to blindly follow him akin to a child following a parent
Purpled
A mercenary after wealth, Purpled is being offered to join Las Nevadas in exchange for money. It is shown he is competent at sticking to what he believes in, but he does still follow the money mostly. However, Purpled is after more than just simple jobs to accrue wealth, which is what Quackity baits him with. He blows up the only thing that gave Purpled a name in the Dream SMP and offers him much more than the original incentive from the Red Banquet job. With the UFO gone, Purpled is given a choice to go big or go home, the final decision still unknown by the end of Purpled’s chapter. It’s interesting to see Quackity’s approach with Purpled, he’s much more confrontational with him than the others. Where Foolish was just insulted and Charlie merely being strung along, here Q deliberately makes a statement with TNT and a weapon. This might have to do with how Purpled is to be hired as a mercenary again, the man to depend on to take out a target. The only difference is the massive gain and utmost loyalty to Las Nevadas
Purpled is the suits of Diamonds. This suit has been thought to be associated with the merchants, the ones who gain most from sales of goods and services. To Quackity, he just has to convince Purpled with money beyond his wildest dreams. It’s quite important to note that Diamonds used to be bells in German suits, more specifically hawk-bells. These bells were used for falconry in medieval Europe, to denote a bird’s location and status. This is like what Quackity wants to do with Purpled, to keep the hunter under his guidance and not have his loyalties lie elsewhere. Diamonds in the tarot is seen as the suit of pentacles, concerning everything material and worldly. Pentacles often do not just concern financial matters but anything of security and practicality. It is all about what is realistic, for Purpled that is what he can own. Quackity knows that, he knows to bait the mercenary with money and to gamble with it.
Fundy
This one is a fun one to cover since this chapter is solely from Fundy’s point of view. Not once does it shift to Quackity and what he sees. Only Fundy and his nightmare. In the dream, Fundy wakes up in the middle of a red desert. It’s been said before, but being in a desert represents loneliness and disconnect. He is isolated and alone at first, except for Quackity. When he brought to the memories of L’manburg and its iterations, he views it all in awe. This contrasts with how he reacted before to the caravan, with anger and panic. In the dream with Quackity, he happily remembers the times of the past with Quackity, even if they were the most tragic times of L’Manburg’s history. The most notable thing about Quackity in the dream is the fact that he constantly makes Fundy feel noticed, make Fundy feel known and present. Fundy is not invalidated for his involvement in L’Manburg’s history. For once, Fundy feels happy. So when it twists around in Eret’s tower, a reminder of countless wars, the scene shifts to have Quackity in control. Fundy is told he does not matter all over again, told he will be as forgotten as L’Manburg’s history.
Fundy is the suit of Hearts, the suit associated with the clergy. This refers to someone with religious duties or more generally concerning what a person holds within their heart. This person is only important due to the group they associate with, similar to Quackity saying Fundy does nto matter until eh chooses to join with him. Besides just solely the card suits, the Heart tends to represent feelings and relationships. The latter part is an integral part of Fundy’s story, how his relationships with others always tend to fall apart. Feelings are important to Fundy too since he’s only attached to many things because of those feelings. He almost gains nothing but emotional support. And really, that’s is just always been something Fundy has been after – someone to depend on. And so, Fundy is swayed by the promise of a stable relationship with others, something that his dream pre-empted to be used by Quackity. Hearts in the tarot is seen as the Cups or Chalice, which represents everything of emotions as well. More interestingly, the suit of Cups deals with the unconscious too, even dreams. Pretty matching.
 So what does it exactly mean for these connections with the poker cards? Well, to use the cards is to play the game of gambling, the game of poker. And that is what Quackity sees these people as, tools to use to win the game. He’s collecting these cards to gain a winning hand. It’s also evident that he’s pushing these cards to gamble as well. He cuts off all attachments they have and force their hand to take a risk. Foolish has to risk being destructive again. Charlie risks confiding with an untrustworthy friend. Purpled risks losing actual money. Fundy risks losing mental stability all over again. It’s all about taking a risk, something that Quackity is taking advantage of to win. The perception of the cards all come down to how Quackity sees what to string all of these people along to join his cause. In the end, Quackity only cares about what benefit it will bring to Las Nevadas, instead of giving sure promises of such high rewards for tagging along. With the parallels between how Quackity views the members to how Dream views others, it’s fun to see how Quackity sees more and more of this project as a game of chance he’s willing to take. So how will the game play out for all these cards? Only fates can tell.

With 4th of July finally coming to an end.... it’s time! Time for the story we’ve been planning! That being said:
Danganronpa V4: A New Ending
(Title pending?)
Pairing: Hajime x female reader
Summary: a whole new killing game, with a different group of participants, and a whole new character
The first chapter will come out soon, and when it does, you’ll find the link here!
Here is all our people starring in this story!
Y/N L/N, The Ultimate Forensic Scientist
A spunky young girl with a spunky young attitude. She tends to keep to herself, but isn’t necessarily shy. From her school file, it’s highly assumed that she somehow stumbled across a crime scene as a child, how she actually got there is unknown. Although no older than 13, she was easily able to point out evidence that the forensic specialists already in scene missed before she was quickly escorted away.
Seemingly unbothered by the corpses she witnessed, she then pursued her newly found interest in crime scenes and how to process them, along with collecting evidence.
Her quick learning caught the attention of many, including Hope’s Peak. They offered to pay for her entire schooling if she attended, and she agreed. As Y/N got dressed and ready for her first day at Hope’s Peak, she could have never guessed she would be forced to fight for her life along with 15 others, and put her talent to use.
Hajime Hinata, The Ultimate???
A hotheaded teen who seems to have amnesia, being unable to remember his talent. His uptight nature puts off some of the others, but a few seem interested in him, some even offering to help him discover his talent.
Although he’d never say it, he feels self conscious due to not knowing what his job is supposed to be.
Admires most, if not all, talents, especially the ones that directly make society run better.
Not much can be said about him, he’s still trying to figure out who he is.
He remembers getting ready for the start of the school year, walking out of his home, and then everything going black. Then he woke up on this island, and now has to keep himself and those he cares for alive.
Kokichi Ouma, The Ultimate Supreme Leader
A spry young boy who refuses to really speak of his past. It’s unclear what in his school file is even the truth. He claims to be the supreme leader of an evil organization called DICE, an organization with elegidly 10,000+ members. Hence his talent title. Almost everything that comes out of his mouth he claims to be a lie, so it’s hard to tell what he is actually like.
While he doesn’t ever go into detail of his organization, it seems to be one of the only things he actually cares about and wants to get back to.
He seems hardly bothered by the idea of a killing game, even saying, hopefully joking, that he’d make the first kill. Most are unnerved by his presence and stay away.
Mukuro Ikusaba, The Ultimate Soldier
A quiet, stern girl who does not speak unless absolutely necessary. The older fraternal twin sister of Junko Enoshima, a fashionista famous in Japanese magazine’s. Mukuro seems completely indifferent to anything unless it’s about her sister, to which she grows immediately passionate, almost like a different person. Doesn’t speak about why she and her sister have different last names, claiming it shouldn’t matter.
While not thrilled at the thought of a killing game, she shows extreme faith that her sister will find and rescue her. Most people avoid her, she is the ultimate soldier, after all. Out of everyone, she’d be able to kill the most efficiently.
Doesn’t mind that people avoid her, she likes the quiet anyway.
Makoto Naegi, The Ultimate Lucky Student
A simple, average teenager who lives a simple and average life. He was randomly selected to go to Hope's peak, so he doesn’t really possess any actual talent.
Although talentless, he does seem to possess a decent level of smarts and gets along with everyone easily. No one really fears him, he’s too small and sweet to be capable of murder.
While he doesn’t pose a threat to others, he poses a threat to the mastermind, or anyone who lays their hands on his sister.
Komaru Naegi, a normal student
Komaru possesses no actual talent, much like her brother. However, she is different in the sense that she wasn’t even accepted into Hope’s Peak since she wasn’t quite of age to even be considered as a possibility.
She remembers being taken hostage after she and her parents sent off her older brother, only to awaken on an island, her brother right beside her.
She wants to trust everyone, and takes relief in having her brother by her side.
Shuichi Saihara, The Ultimate Detective
A shy boy who hides his eyes behind a black cap. He seems rather insecure, despite having the talent that poses as the most useful in the current situation. He is quiet and doesn’t like interacting with others, but seems to get more comfortable as time goes on.
He doesn’t like the idea of the killing game, obviously, but he’s mostly worried that some of his classmates will take it seriously.
K1-B0, The Ultimate Robot
Created by a man called Professor Idabashi, a prominent figure in robotics engineering. He created K1-B0(has told others they can call him Keebo) as a culmination of his work.
Keebo doesn’t quite understand human emotions perfectly, but he has a decent idea which is impressive in of itself.
Much like Mukuro, he has faith that he will be saved by a family member. Seeing as he refers to Professor Idabashi as his father. He says he has a tracker, and that when the professor realizes he is missing, a search team will be sent.
Toko Fukawa, The Ultimate Writing Prodigy
An extremely shy and timid girl who does speak to many people. Those she does speak to tend to be weirded out by her... odd and even perverted nature.
She had written multiple books and does seem to be extremely smart, her only issue being her timid nature.
Accused most (if not all) the boys in her class of being perverts.
Angie Yonaga, The Ultimate Artist
Angie loves art in any form, obviously because of her ultimate.
However, she also stands out due to her belief that she is the Devine interpreter for the god Atua, a god she says her people worship.
Angie believes Atua will have his way, and that the killing game is part of something bigger.
Rantaro Amami, The Ultimate Adventurer
A chill, laid back boy who believes in keeping the peace. His calm and collected personality is soothing, leading most, if not all, of the other students to trust him and listen to what he suggests.
Some seem off put by how calm he acts, but most understand that he’s just really good at staying calm and knows that panicking won’t always help.
Often tells tales of his travels to distract those who are afraid.
Nagito Komaeda, The Ultimate Lucky Student
Yet another lucky student, chosen to attend Hope’s Peak at random like Makoto. However, he seems to also have an.... interesting relationship with luck.
His luck has caused death and destruction around him, but he still manages to stay calm and even cheerful in the face of a literal killing game.
Nagito believes hope will prevail no matter what, so he chooses to pretty much just “go with the flow.”
Byakuya Togami, The Ultimate Affluent Progeny
A stuck up and condescending teen who makes it very clear that he does not approve of being trapped on an island like this. This isn’t a funny prank or initiation.
He is rather rich and will inherit the Togami company, after competing against 14 other siblings to “take the crown” and earn the inheritance. He was the youngest of the sibling, or candidates, and is the first youngest to ever come out on top.
Gonta Gokuhara, The Ultimate Entomologist
A.... sweet young man who loves anything and everything bugs. He isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but he has a good heart.
(Jsvshsv I don’t know what to write for Gonta I’ll finish his later)
Mikan Tsumiki, The Ultimate Nurse
A clumsy and frightened girl who somehow manages to find herself in compromising positions constantly. On accident.
With her and Y/N present, people are at ease, seeing they have practically a full medical team in case something were to happen.
While she often does more worse than good due to her clumsy nature, she has a good heart, and people know that.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru, The Ultimate Moral Compass
A stern and strict boy who believes in respect and following rules contstantly. He is probably one of the only students who respects the killing games headmaster, Monokuma.
While not thrilled about the idea of a murder game, he sticks to the idea that it is a prank from upperclassmen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that’s our introductions! Sorry some were shorter than others!
Stay tuned!
TOP 10 MANHWAs
if anything good came out of 2020, it’s my discovery of manhwas.
well, it’s not like i’ve never read a single manhwa in the past 15+ years but tbh, the ratio of manhwa:manga i consume on a weekly basis has jumped exponentially this year. previously it was like 1:99 and now it’s like 90:10 LMAO.
so, just to remind myself that the world is still full of good things, i had to make this list. which i will probably edit in the future, if i can be bothered to. :)
anyhow, this list was not made in any particular order, just whichever came into mind. it’s loooong so be prepared! (I’ve read way more titles than mentioned but just included the ones worth checking out)
for whoever stumbles across this list, i hope some of these resonate with you and i hope they make you as happy as they made me.
1. Ebony
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/41838/ebony
Bahahah omg he looks evil there! But our dearest archduke is hardly that aww. Soz, I just ripped off the covers of the manhwa cos I can’t find a panel I liked more than another. I mean, this manhwa is a GEM. I can’t even begin to describe this because everything about it blew me away. This is not something you read when you are craving for fluff, or just wanna have something brainless after a hard day at work or if you just wanna have some eye candy lol. This is something you pick up on a weekend, when you have time, because you need those hours to digest, appreciate, clutch your chest, tear a little because you find yourself falling in love with these characters. It doesn’t have any of that cliche isekai, romance, revenge themes going on. It has a solid plot, backed by incredible characters, beautifully woven by the authors and artist with incredible pacing that keeps you on your toes and keeps you looking forward to the next chapter. Maybe I would have been happier if I found it after it was completed lol. HAVE I CONVINCED YOU ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU WANNA READ IT?! like, idk, just go. JUST GO READ IT GDI.
p.s. it says there romance but naaaaaaah, dont go in with that expectation. :) this story is so much more than that.
2. Bring the love
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/44472/bring-the-love
This...this!!! THIS MANHWA NEEDS MORE LOVE. If you need a lot of fluff, a little, ok maybe quite a bit of sadness and tragedy, sweet sweet romance, cutie pies, please, look no further!!! Again, pacing, character development are so important to me and this manhwa aces it. I love the 2 MCs very much. And the side characters too. :)
3.  A Stepmother's Märchen
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/39474/a-stepmother-s-m-rchen
When I first read this, i fucking cried. like please don’t ask me why. it’s not like its an absolute tragedy but I was just rooting for the MC so much and I really want for everything to go her way. That’s how much I adore this MC!!! I LOVE HER. I LOVE HER MORE THAN YOU DO NORA! HAHAHHA. okay soz. I need to keep this spoiler-free.
Anyhoo, there is nothing typical about this time travel plot. Sure, she goes back to try to undo the stuff that went wrong but phew, she certainly changed things so much everything that comes her way have made it so her previous experiences can hardly help aaaaaaand that’s what makes it fun! I sometimes wish the pacing could be a little more consistent, and there could be more characters I could love a little more wholeheartedly (so i wont have to be in so much despair when i read this sometimes lol) but omg the art, isn’t it pretty?! I’ve re-read this soooooo many times but the art blows me away all the time. And have I already mentioned how much I love her?! I LOVE YOU SHULI! AND I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY!
4.  Lady Baby
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/34691/lady-baby
I literally LOL-ed when I saw this cover. WHO THE HELL ARE THEY. WHAT LADY BABY?! ehehehe. okay anyway, uhm, this is already incredibly popular. im not sure if i need to elaborate but yes, it’s adorbs!!! i dont think i like the MC as much as i love her family lol. and everyone else who adores her. im looking forward to when they get older. :) actually not really. please stay cute for as long as yall can! but yeah, i do wish the plot can move a lil faster. i want to see more character development in the other kids too COME ON!
5.  Death Is the Only Ending for the Villainess
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/47754/death-is-the-only-ending-for-the-villainess
am i allowed to reveal how shallow i am rn? like the previous choices were all like ‘wow-deep-plot’, ‘wow-character-development’ and this one i just included cos of AESTHETICS ALONE?! the novel covers are breathtaking!!! the manhwa art is amazing as well. and the harem is great! LOL. as for plot... uhm... it’s alright. it’s pretty engaging and i quite like the MC, she’s smart and independent and i love how she views them all antagonistically at all times HAHAHHA. her past is kinda... weird though and i do wish they’d stop referencing it. cos... girl why do you wanna go back to reality!!! stay here! it’s way more exciting!
i love the whole isekai/reincarnate/transmigration theme and this is honestly one of the better, not-so-cliche or cheesy ones HA.
6.  Beware of the Villainess!
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/47286/beware-of-the-villainess
do you already see the whole villainess theme?! am i suppose to start feeling embarrassed about my choices?! NO! cos this one is AWESOME!
again, another wildly popular title. for good reasons. it’s hilarious, our MC is as real and candid as it gets and LOOK AT THAT BLUE HAIRED BEAUTY. DO YOU SEE HIM?! IMPLANT HIM INTO YOUR MEMORY NOW!
it’s highly entertaining and breaks all isekai-reincarnation-villainess plot stereotypes. definitely one of the titles i look forward to every week.
7.  Who Made Me a Princess
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/32506/who-made-me-a-princess
what? why did i choose this?
BECAUSE OF CLAUDE OF COURSE. ahahaha. okay aside from the amaaaaaaazing art and the beautiful people, the plot is not too bad. a little extreme at times but it’s interesting enough to keep me going. it’s currently on hiatus though and i was highly annoyed by how the first season ended. (YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED? NOTHING.)
i hope the plot can move faster in the next season! and that our dearest MC athanasia can you know, finally be a little more useful... like omg just tell lucas already!!! and tbh girl, no matter which guy you choose, i approve. :D
8.  The Flower That Was Bloomed by a Cloud
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/37648/the-flower-that-was-bloomed-by-a-cloud
i featured this before, mostly out of frustration HAHAHA. do you see why i chose this cover?! yeah, i support this (unpopular) pairing okay! the other one is doomed!!! no matter what the author is trying to do now!! I DONT SUPPORT IT!!! lol.
anyway, i had to feature this cos the art is unique! and the story is great. :) and i looooooove listening to the ost while i read it. it starts out kinda slow but as the pace picks up, you won’t be able to stop. and you find yourself conflicted at various points. it did win an award for a reason.
no matter what, i still think dowun is best for her okay. it’s dowun or nothing. he’s devoted to her, we all know that! he just needs to ditch that annoying female guard!!! ok yknw what, maybe nothing is better. :/ *cries*
9.  Solo Leveling
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/31477/solo-leveling
why do i even bother? this manhwa is popular enough.
the art is great. the MC is great. i use him and his gang as my wallpaper.
im just not sure i like how this season’s plot is progressing. :/ but i guess it brings us nearer to solving the mystery in the first leg of the manhwa. i just enjoyed the whole part of him leveling up and now that he isn’t really leveling up anymore... idk. am i hoping for more plot shit like bleach (oh wow now u quincy?)... idk man. anywho, no regrets starting on this series and marathon-ing it to death.
cross fingers the plot picks up and doesnt get too complicated for its own good.
10.  The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion
Tumblr media
https://mangadex.org/title/31606/the-reason-why-raeliana-ended-up-at-the-duke-s-mansion
okay, tbh, by the time i reached 10, i still have like 15 other series i was considering LMAO. i even considered lengthening this top 10 to top 15. but that would just be more of me and my nonsense. so... why did i choose this?
COS I LOVE THE 2 MCs!!! they’re adorable. the plot is again, kinda far-fetched at times (i literally laugh my head off at some parts) but it’s isekai-reincarnation okay! anything is possible in whatever magical crap country you end up in! lol. and i like how straightforward it is... in the sense there’s no 2nd lead. like okay i mean they are there but we all know they have no chance. oops. sorry!
and cos i can’t give up on the other titles i have, imma just list them down, without pictures... cos im tired. HA.
11. Doctor Elise
https://mangadex.org/title/29474/doctor-elise
Kudos to the huge improvement in art style lmao. The good... lovable MCs, engaging plot. The bad... sometimes lengthy, incredulous medical moments (i work in the medical field so i... idk. sometimes this borders on iryu LMAO and i need to remind myself this is romance) otherwise, this is a highly highly entertaining read.
12.  Seduce the Villain's Father
https://mangadex.org/title/46775/seduce-the-villain-s-father
This is another of my ‘father-love’ whims. MC is adorable and ML is handsome. enough said.
13.  The Villainess Lives Twice
https://mangadex.org/title/49644/the-villainess-lives-twice
This is like a lesser version of Ebony and Bring the Love combined HAHAHA. The plot and premise is great and it’s awesome to marathon! I don’t find myself loving the MC as much as I should but the ML is a darling! I just find her a little toooooooo gloomy. Like come on girl, be more spunky!
14.  The Stereotypical Life of a Reincarnated Lady
https://mangadex.org/title/46790/the-stereotypical-life-of-a-reincarnated-lady
I dont know why I like this so much HAHAHAHA. It hardly has a plot. I just find the MC and ML amusing i guess lol.
15.  I'm Stanning the Prince
https://mangadex.org/title/45586/i-m-stanning-the-prince
Sometimes I wonder if I should be ranking this higher but I kinda feel this manhwa is trying to achieve too much with an underpowered MC. I love her... but I just don’t like how she’s just a pawn of everyone else and I dont know how she can change this situation of hers. It’s cute though. the MC and ML.  and the ML reminds me so much of american/jap Mackenyu.
16.  The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass
I HAD TO. the art is so pretty! but girl, dont use the hour glass so much! you look a little too old! i would appreciate it if MC stops basing too much of her moves on the “past” tho like idk you are gonna sound unoriginal soooooon like develop your own thoughts soon okay? <3
17. Inso's Law
ANOTHER ONE. omg. im a lil on the fence regarding this but i like MC too much. and her harem LOL. i dont see where the plot is going either but i just hope for a happy end... ):
18.  Why Are You Doing This, Duke?
HAHAHA. this is sooooo sooooooo cute, i would have ranked it top 15 if it wasnt licensed by tapas tho cos they are a joke. WHY NOT TAPPY GDI.
19.  Miss Not-So Sidekick
Uh-oh. Is this a top-20 list now? anyway, the MC for this series is GOLD. im not liking where it’s currently heading tho thus the lower ranking.
20.  IRIS - Lady with a Smartphone
omg IVE NEGLECTED THIS FOR TOO LONG. lemme go buy more chapters hahahaha. it’s a tad too lengthy... otherwise i like the MC and yummy ML!
still not enough?
Special Mentions - Okay, these will be unranked cos I don’t think these are that good but probably still worth a read.
I've Become the Villainous Empress of a Novel - this is new, im looking forward to how it progresses wheeeee.
Lady to Queen - It’s a ruthless manhwa. There was a point i started reading all sorts of sadistic content (i was running out of content i swear) and this was one of the better ones. I appreciate the MC very much. the plot now is a little weird and im a bit wary of the MC’s sister... hopefully the ML can be more useful. he’s pitiful though. but dude come on, dont rely on the wrong gal.
Goodbye, In-law - I’m not sure if i like the current progress buuuuuuut MC and ML are cute so who cares.
The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes - plot is still engaging. MC and ML are cute. i dont know where the plot is heading towards though.
A Falling Cohabitation - this is interesting and fun but a lil lengthy.
Light and Shadow - the sequel is out!!! i highly enjoyed this entire series!!! i would have probably ranked it a lil higher if i did this post earlier but too many series have overtaken this in my heart lol.
This Girl Is a Little Wild - is the hiatus ending yet? i would add it back to top 20 if it came back LOL. it’s highly entertaining tho. ML is adorable.
The Duchess With an Empty Soul  - pretty nice. MC and ML are a little boring. i think it can end soon. LMAO.
A Capable Maid - it’s amusing how she gets her powers for all sorts of situations lol. the prince is creepy tbh. and im secretly rooting for the other king hehe.
Beware of the Brothers! - it’s cute and heart-wrenching at the same time! not too sure im digging the latest plot development but okay... i’ll take it. they’re all cuties.
Living as the Tyrant's Older Sister - hehehe. it’s cute. duke is kinda silly but the latest chapter made me squeal!!!
The Evil Lady's Hero  - idk where the plot is going but MC and ML are adorable!!!
The Dragon Next Door - HAHAHA. it’s hilarious.
The Youngest Princess - she’s growing uppppp noooooooooooo
Virtues of the Villainess - ginger is hilarious. i dont see where the plot is going tho... and cant say i like the ML yet. i dont even get to see him much, hello?!
The Justice of Villainous Woman - pretty wholesome... i like the MC! (the ML is fine. no one else to contend with so...) can u end already?! lol.
Amina of the Lamp - hey, what happened to this? it’s pretty inconsistent but i do like the MC and ML... and the art...
The Villain's Savior - this is some sadistic shit. i reserve it for when i feel sadistic. i pretty much wanna see MC happy but idk if she’s making the right choices. :/
I Don't Want to Be Empress! - HAHAHAHA uhm it’s getting interesting. i just want ML to step up more...
La dolce vita di Adelaide - I FINISHED THIS! and it’s wholesome, feel-good and cute. some parts felt a lil extra but ah whatever.
The Black Haired Princess - plot. move. faster!!! otherwise the MC and ML are pretty cute.
The Abandoned Empress - im a lil on the fence but i know how popular this series is. it started out HORRIBLE. i hated the ML so much. and then i found the green hair boy creepy. like MC, you need better taste in boys. it’s certainly getting more interesting now though. so please, continue to make my money’s worth!!!
Lucia - i. am. not. guilty. of. anything. *smut warning* anyway go read the novel. it’s better. hehehe.
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim - i do not need to elaborate any further.
Past loves
I created this section just to remind myself, that what i could like one day, i could hate the next LOL.
The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess - I know this is wildly popular. but i lost interest in it once she grew up. i dont think she’s particularly lovable. soz.
Survive as the Hero's Wife - another popular choice. I find the plot kinda boring now. MC and ML are cute though.
Sincerely: I Became a Duke's Maid - another popular one. again, boring plot. like cant it end yet? oh you mean we need to wait for the real female lead to show up? dont need luh.
I Am a Child of This House - wow. the plot is shit now. and i do not support the MC and her guard. soz. she’s OVERPOWERED tbh.
This Is an Obvious Fraudulent Marriage - idk what happened but my enthusiasm for this died.
Charlotte and Her 5 Disciples - i don’t get it. i dont get their obsession for her.
