His coding skills wouldn't last a single second against anyone actually competent but he can hack Shadow's Netflix password every time it changes.

He knows how to brew a perfect cup of tea and also how to bake exactly one (1) cake.

Around the specific latitudes that Angel island tends to float around in he goes looking for a particular kind of edible plant that a certain someone showed him how to identify. He likes to snack on it when he's bored.

He's able to estimate the value of a piece of jewelry based off the quality of the gem. Knows the difference between a 'karat' and a 'carat'.

He can look at bullet holes and have a decent guess at the caliber of the gun that shot them. He could also, in a pinch, fully disassemble a HK45 Tactical pistol and put it back together again.

Fishing. You get the idea.

From a story standpoint, I love love love the moment when Lan Xichen steps in front of Meng Yao to guard him when Nie Mingjue attacks him in Nightless City. Such a great characterization moment for all three of them that will have ripple effects for all their arcs going forward!

also me (for love notes <3): i must connect my computer to my monitor so that I can display cities in japan that college volleyball teams actually traveled to to play games and then pull up google maps to see how realistic it is that a college volleyball team would travel from one area to another (was thinking of making whatever college everyone goes to be from inarizaki's area but that might be in a completely different area from these cities) (this is important for literally nothing but the way in which I am formatting my song reccs for each chapter)

Mirza wakes up a little too early for normal Halcandrans, it may be because he is too old that he no longer needs as much sleep kjskdj

Mirza refuses to use cologne, perfumes are way better and he makes his own anyways

he is the equivalent to a religious satanist so he does engage in a LOT of dark magic stuff in the mornings/very late at night

Normally Gala helps him cook (because his reanimated servants's cooking really sucks and he refuses to hire living Halcandrans) BUT they are barred from helping with breakfast because their early morning sleepines/insensitivity to pain is a very dangerous combo when chopping veggies and Mirza would rather not deal with that

While halcandrans are mostly obligate carnivores (they are big cats) their breakfast usually has no meat in it.

Mirza sends Galacta to kitty school mostly to learn social cues because y'know, different species
