My High Purity Copper Wire Replacement Audio for my QKZ AK6 Pro IEM review (w/ my paper dolls) - 2nd Half (Final) [Recorded: Dec 8th, 2023]
DeviantART Version: [CLICK ME!]
Hello, December. Here's my 2nd half (and final) of my 'High Purity Copper Wire Replacement Audio' for my QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones, or as I call it my 'audio wire replacement' (, feat. my paper dolls).
• If you haven't seen my '1st half', then please → [CLICK ME!].
BTW: And once again, If you haven't seen my review of QKZ AK6 Pro (from 2022), then I'll provide some links down below. ↓ 😉
My QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones:
• Revealing parcel [Oct 1st, 2022]
• Part 1 (1st half) [Oct 8th, 2022]
• Part 2 (2nd half) [Oct 8th, 2022]
• Part 3 (Final) [Oct 26th, 2022]
So, without further ado, let's get started:
20th & 21st Image(s): ↑
• Here's a preview of installing my two AK6 Pro earpieces to my new 'audio wire replacement'. 🎶🎧🙂 My paper dolls are excited to wear it. Don't you worry, you two. I hope your ears we're fit. Hehe 😅 Nonetheless, here's my 2nd recorded video. 🎦📲
🎦 My Recorded video No. 2 ↑ 📲
• Here's me connecting two audio pieces into one, and it fits perfectly! 🎧🎶😊 Once again, my apologies for the awful background, despite my current smartphone (the Honor 8C) doesn't have noise cancelling / anti-background sound feature. 🚫🎶🏙️📲
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
22nd to 24th Image(s): ↑
• [22nd & 23rd Image] Finally, the installation is complete! Care to wear it, you two? 🎧😊 "Yes, please" said my paper dolls. [24th Image] Mmmmm... 🤔 A-Okay, but uhh... I think, would it better if you two wear my headphones over earphones, Okay? 😊 My paper dolls completely agree.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
25th & 26th Image(s): ↑
• Now, let's go to the actual wear, featuring "ME!". 😊 You can see these photos of mine, they fit well on both of my ears just like before 👂🙂👍. Sound-wise, the sound quality is the same as I expected 🙂🎶👌, but say cannot be said for the quality of ear hooks. You see, upon wearing these or taking off after hours of listening, the material for the ear hooks feels quite flimsy than the original one. 🪢 👂🎧🤔 My OG audio wire's ear hooks used to have a solid bend without worrying about. On top of that, the wiring itself feels quite light, making it easy to snap after a long use (, as I predict 🤔). Not to mention, the slippery and glossy appearance of the wiring. Though, I'm not sure if this replacement could last as long as the original one. But, we'll see in the endurance durability pace for my new audio wire. On the plus side, it is as comfy as before without hurting my ears; not even once.
• As of today (Dec 15th, 2023), I have no issues whatsoever, so far. I've tested it on my Honor 8C phone to see the function of the controls (play/pause, and the volume buttons), and it worked well. And with the volume controls on my IEM earphones, I don't have to reach my phone just to adjust the volume for hearing purposes. 🎧📲😊👍
Overall & Asking Price:
• Despite material differences between the OG and the replacement one, I'd say if your OG audio wire was busted after the lifespan was dead, a replacement for your current IEM earbuds is a better choice. 🎶🎧😊👍 Not only the audio wire replacements deliver the same quality sound as the original, but they also it'll save your budget, as well, if you have existing functional IEM detachable earpieces. Because some people like me, don't want to spend another spare of regular earphones with no detachable feature, right? Well, okay I guess that is debatable (BUT). 🤔Nonetheless, I think every IEM budget owners should buy this if they so desire. 😊
• As for the price, I order it from Shopee PH for only ₱ 145 [CLICK ME!] 🏷️. 🇵🇭🛒🌐 There's also an additional ₱10 for the pouch, but I rather not spending it. Considering, that I have tons of pouches to used. 🙂 There's also available on Lazada PH [CLICK ME!] 🇵🇭🛒🌐, as well albeit a different price than Shopee 🏷️, plus there's a Type C variant and different style choices.
Well, that's the end of my topic, and see you in 2024! 🥂🥳🎇

Wholesome Idea
Sole managed to find some intact earbuds/headphones and is able to wire them up so it’s like an Aux cord too and hooks it up to their pip boy and will hand their current companion like the intact pair of earbuds/headphones while they have their own in, and they can just kind of relax.
Like I can honestly see Sole handing Hancock headphones and just playing some more prewar tunes that they record from the past on holotapes, and for once he’s not all drugged up, and are in a safe location. Like, I can just imagine how much of a stress reliever that can be??
Like just sitting down in some pre-war bed and just being able to relax and listen to the music. Or with Nick they just hand over headphones and he just puts the on (albeit a little confused) after a long day of running from place to place solving cases and searching for the tapes and repairing circuit boards, wires and patching up bullet wounds.
The two just find a nice place to rest and listen to classical music and swing (electro too) music uninterrupted.
Bonus
Sole just has some of that good pop, rock, metal and very very upbeat loud music, along with diamond city radio and it’s just dead silent for a little after some more calm tunes than suddenly all that fills their ears is
“URANIUM FEVERRRR—.”
Or even better
“GOT MUD ON YOUR FACE BIG DISGRACE-”
And both just getting the absolute shit scared out of them because they were about to drift off into sleep.

And so  wihtout further ado, here we go!
Here’s my fic, A Day in the Park!
Enjoy!~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With all the birds chirping and the sun shining overhead, even Eva had to admit it was a beautiful day. And what a better way to spend such a great day than going for a jog through the local park!
Standing at the park entrance, Eva’s eyes glided over the scenery. She noticed that some kids were running around a jungle gym while parents sat idly by on nearby benches, chatting amongst themselves. She spotted a few couples walking hand in hand around the park and some people walking their dogs. Overall there was quite a bit of foot traffic.
‘Seems like I wasn’t the only one who thought it was a great day to be out and about,’ Eva thought almost bitterly before she sighed. She silently thanked whatever deity was out there that the back was relatively large.
Stepping off to the side, Eva began to do some small stretches to warm up. After a few minutes of warming up, she decided she was ready to go. Pulling out a small MP3 from her black shorts pocket along with her earbuds, she turns her MP3 on before putting it securely into the armband that she had on. After hooking everything up she pressed the small button on her earbud wire.
A small smile graced her face as a poppy tune played in her ears. She takes a deep breath before she takes off down the path.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After about an hour or so of running on a twisting and curving path through the park’s lightly forested landscape, Eva had made her way down to the part of the park that many people loved to play sports at. And at the moment there were quite a bit of people that seemed to be playing a rousing game of soccer. Even though she was on the outskirts of the area, Eva could hear their cheers and screams over her music as someone made a goal.
She continued on the path for a while, but after passing a large oak tree she decided to take a break. Placing her hands on her hips as she takes a moment to catch her breath. Eva takes a deep breath before she starts to stretch again. As she bends down slightly she notices her shoes untied. Grumbling a bit, she goes to reach down to retie it. Before she can, however, something hits her head hard harshly with a resounding WHACK!
“Ah son of a-!” Eva groans out as she stumbles a bit before she holds her head in pain.
She rubs her head before she looks around for whatever had hit her. Eva’s pain quickly turns into anger, however, when she notices a stray soccer ball a little ways away in front of her. She pulls out her earbuds and unhooks them before stuffing them into her pocket. She picks up the ball as her face contorts in anger, ready to throw the ball into who-ever-hit-her’s face.
A voice from her left shouts, “Oh man, I am SO sorry!”
She turns toward them, ready to blast them in the face with the soccer ball. But her anger dies out when she sees who it is.
“Oh hey, Eva!” Tyler’s eyes light up upon seeing her.
Eva’s face turns red before she scowls and relaxes her body, “Hi Tyler.”
“I’m so sorry about hitting you! I guess I must have kicked it too hard,” Tyler says sheepishly and smiles before it turns into a frown, “I didn’t hurt you did I?”
She grumbles out as a blush begins to start over her face, “No I’m okay.”
Tyler didn’t look convinced, “Are you sure? I’ve been hit in the head a few times with a ball and none of them have ever felt good.”
Eva’s blush makes her ears burn as he continues to worry over her, “Yes, I’m positive!”
She looks down at her feet trying to ignore his cute, concerned face as her blush threatens to take over her entire face. Remembering she’s holding the object that hit her, clears her throat and looks back up at him, “Um anyway, here’s your ball.” Eva holds the ball out to him.
“Oh yeah! Thanks, Eva!” Tyler goes to grab it but before he can the tip of his shoe collides with the edge of the sidewalk, causing him to trip.
Tyler gasps and squeezes his eyes shut as he prepares to collide face-first into the hard cement. The pain never comes, however. He feels pressure on his shoulders and opens his eyes to see that he’s staring at the ground. Upon looking up, however, all he can see is the familiar blue color of Eva’s shirt. Realization dawns on him that Eva had prevented him from falling.
“Hey, you should have watched where you’re going a little better. You could have hurt yourself, idiot!” Eva scolds as she helps Tyler sit up straight. Eva crosses her arms as she looks at him, waiting for a response.
Tyler couldn’t help but feel a bit embarrassed but also a little happy that he didn’t get hurt again. He goes to respond but stops short when his eyes meet her crossed arms. His cheeks heat up when he notices how the muscles in her arms flex as she squeezes them. He starts to daydream a bit just looking at her.
Eva cocks a brow at his lack of response, before she snaps her fingers in his face, “Hello?! Earth to Tyler! I know you don’t have a concussion because you didn’t bite the sidewalk.”
Her snapping knocks him out of his dreamy stupor before his face blossoms into a blush. He rubs his neck sheepishly, “O-oh! Uh, Sorry Eva!” He gives her a smile before continuing, “Thanks for catching me! I don’t think my nose can handle another nose bleed!”
Eva could feel her face heat before she furrowed her brow and looked away, “Tch. It was nothing. You have to be more careful though.”
Tyler laughs, “Yeah, yeah I know I know,” He looks around for a moment before he notices the discarded soccerball to his left. He picks it up before standing back up. Eva and Tyler both look at anything other than each other before Tyler speaks.
“Well I better get going before my friends send out a search party,” Tyler laughs a little before it dies down. He didn’t want to go but his friends were probably worried about him being gone so long.
Eva snorts, “Yeah I guess you should…” She didn’t want him to leave yet, but she wasn’t going to say anything about it.
Tyler fumbles with the soccer ball before he turns to leave. He turns around slightly to look at Eva, “See ya later Eva,” He gives her a small almost sad smile before he turns back around.
Eva watches him leave before she mutters out a quiet, “Yeah see ya later I guess,” She sighs before reaches into her pocket to grab her earbuds out. She plugs them into her MP3 that was still on her arm and puts the buds into her ears. Just before she hits play she hears someone call out her name.
“Huh?” Eva pulls an earbud out and turns to her left.
“Eva, wait!” It’s Tyler and he’s running back towards her. He drops the soccer ball before he hunches over, trying to catch his breath.
Eva cocks a brow and looks at him confused, “Are you okay?”
He moves his head to look at her before he waves his hand dismissively, “Yeah,” He pants out, “I’m fine.”
Eva shakes his head at him as the corners of her lips twitch, “You didn’t even run that far and you’re this tired out? You really need to work on your cardio.”
Tyler shoots up, slightly offended, “Hey! I’ll have you know that I’m perfectly in shape!” And before Eva can say anything, Tyler starts flexing his arms. “Check these babies out!”
Eva’s entire body flushes red hot and her eyebrows shoot up as she stares almost slack-jawed at him. She almost wants to drool but she shakes her head and peels her eyes away. She scowls before putting her earbud back in. She turns to leave, “That’s it I’m leaving. Goodbye.”
Eva starts to walk away from Tyler. He stops flexing, “Wait what?”  He turns to look at her retreating form and scrambles have her, “Hey! Wait! Come back!”
She keeps walking, slightly picking up speed as she grumbles under her breath as her blush fades away.
“Eva, stop and let me say something!” Tyler pleads from behind her.
Eva halts and contemplates walking away again before she sighs. She turns around and crosses her arms. She cocks a brow at him as he comically has to “put on his brakes” to stop himself from crashing into her. “Alright, I’m listening.”
Tyler looks at her face and feels a bit small all of a sudden at her stare, “W-well, I, uh you see I-” Sweat starts to accumulate on his brow as he continues to stutter. He could feel his cheeks start to burn as his confidence starts to die.
Tyler’s throat felt dry as he tried his absolute best not to look at her face and at her pretty brown eyes that were currently staring right him and-
Tyler could feel himself grow even hotter and the tips of his ears were practically on fire at the thought. He might as well start melting right then and there.
Eva could only continue to stare as he seemed to have a mini-meltdown in front of her. She watched as he looked at anything but her as he tried to speak. She was suddenly self-conscious of herself at the moment, as she remembered her therapist telling her that her body language could come off as a bit intimidating.
She took a deep breath before she uncrossed her arms. Eva tried to soften her face as much as possible, “Tyler, just take a deep breath okay? You’re starting to freak me out here.”
She lightly placed her hand on his shoulder before trying to smile. Her lips twitched and it looked more like a grimace than anything.
However, Tyler didn’t seem to mind as his eyes snapped to the hand on his shoulder. He followed it up to meet her gaze. Tyler swallowed hard at Eva’s semi-soft facial expression before he took her advice.
Closing his eyes, he took in a deep breath. Once he opened his eyes again, he smiled, “Thanks, Eva…”
Her face blossomed into a light blush before she coughed and removed her hand from his shoulder. She let her arms hang to her sides, trying to fight the urge to cross them.
“Yeah, it’s not a problem….” She moved some stray hair behind her ear, “What was it you wanted to tell me?”
Tyler furrowed his brows confused for a second, before realization hit him, “Oh yeah! I wanted to ask you if you wanted to play soccer with me and my friends!”
Eva’s eyes widened as she was taken back from his question, “Uh what?”
Tyler laughed at her incredulous expression before repeating, “I asked if you wanted to play soccer with me and my friends.”
Eva’s brow furrowed, she could feel her insecurity bubbling up, “I heard what you said but….why?”
Tyler cocked his head to the side, “What do you mean ‘why?’”
Eva looked to the side and she suddenly felt very small, “I mean why would you want me to come and play with you? Everyone thinks I’m a total spaz.”
Tyler looked at her for a moment before laughing. Eva could feel the heat rise to her face as irritation and slight hurt bubbled up inside of her, “What’s so funny?!”
Tyler wiped a fake tear from his eye before he smiles at her, “Eva, I don’t think you’re a spaz.”
Eva’s eyes widened before she blushed at his admittance, “R-really?”
Tyler nods before continuing, “I mean you do get pretty competitive sometimes, but that's to be expected when you’re so good at sports! You’d probably kick everyone’s butt because you’re like the most athletic person I’ve ever met!” He gives her a smile and motions to himself, “Well besides me of course.” Then he whispers under his breath as his cheeks heat up, “And besides, it’ll give me a chance to hang out with you more.”
The butterflies in Eva’s stomach are going crazy at this point. She doesn’t know whether or not to throw up or kiss Tyler right then and there. But she wills herself to calm down before she does anything crazy. Unfortunately, she can’t contain the heat that takes over her face. She furrows her brow though because she couldn’t quite hear the last part he said. She leans in closer to him, “What was that last part? I didn’t hear you.”
Tyler’s face turns crimson as he starts to wildly wave his arms in front of himself, “N-Nothing! I didn’t say anything!”
She eyes him skeptically before sighing. She wants to say no so she can go back to jogging, but...
Something about the slight tilt of his head and the look in his eye makes her feel like she can’t say no to him. And she decides that she can’t. She gives the offer a final thought, seeing as the pros of the situation outweigh the cons. The pros being that she could probably school a bunch of people at a game of soccer, be able to still get some exercise, and… and spend some time with Tyler. The thought of hanging out with Tyler makes her stomach twist and for the life of her, Eva can’t think of a single con of the situation.
Eva swallows and sighs, “Alright.”
Tyler’s eyes light up, “Alright what?”
She looks at him before looking away and mumbles, “I’ll go and play soccer with you and you're friends…”
Tyler’s entire being practically lights up at her agreement, “For real?! Awesome!”
Eva blushes and scowls as she crosses her arms, “Just don’t make me regret it!”
Tyler laughs as he picks up the soccer ball near their feet, “You won’t I promise!”
He grabs her hand pulls her, “Come on let’s go!”
Eva’s eyes widened as Tyler begins to drag her away, and she complies. As he pulls her along towards, his friends she tries desperately to ignore the feeling of his hand holding hers.
She can feel her hand start to sweat from nerves and the butterflies start to flutter again in her stomach.
As they approach his friends, however, he let’s go and she feels a little sad at the loss of contact.
The group of people in front of her look incredibly bored. Some were sitting on the ground, basking in the sun’s rays while others seemed to be content chatting amongst themselves laughing. One of them noticed their arrival and called out, “There you are Tyler! We were starting to get worried!”
Sudden everyone’s attention is snapped to them and all of a sudden they’re almost swarmed.
Derek, who Eva recognizes from wrestling, asks “What the heck took you so long, man? We were gonna send a search party after you!”
Tyler rubs his neck and he chuckles nervously, “Well you see I-”
Eva rolls her eyes before crossing her arms, “He hit me in the head with the soccer ball.”
Everyone’s attention is suddenly placed on Eva, and it makes her feel a bit shy. But before she could say anything, a girl with brown hair that was pulled up into a ponytail, who Eva recognizes as Alex from their shared French class, speaks up.
“What do you mean he hit you with a soccer ball?!” She exclaims.
“Are you okay??” Another voice asks from Alex’s left. Eva’s eyes snap to another familiar person as she remembers them passing her in the hallways coming from the art room. She wracks her brain for their name, before Tyler buts in.
“Trust me, Flynn. I’d have to hit Eva way harder than I did to do any damage. Eva is way too tough!” Tyler beams.
Eva’s face burns from his compliment as she grumbles. Flynn and Alex notice her blush and they look at the pair before looking at each other. They both give out a giggle and start whispering about how cute they are together.
Someone clears their throat to get everyone’s attention, “Well I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready to play another game!”
Lots of others shout their agreements before everyone breaks out into groups. Eva stands alone, unsure of what to do.
“Come on Eva you can be on our team!” Alex shouts at her while Flynn waves at her wildly.
Their team cheers while some of the others on the other team, who know how good Eva is, groan, knowing that they’re most likely going to get their asses handed to them.
Eva watches as everyone gets into their teams.  A smile starts on her face before Tyler calls her over.
“Coming!” Eva shouts before catching up with her team.
She ends up between Flynn and Alex, the latter adjusts their glasses before asking, “Are you sure you’re okay? Getting hit in the head isn’t fun.”
Alex nods her head in agreement. Both Flynn and Alex are eyeing Eva in concern. Eva looks up and makes eye contact with Tyler as he gets ready to kick the ball. They both share a smile before Eva nods her head,  “Yeah I’m great.”
And she was.
Because after all, it was a great day to be at the park.

Sony noise canceling headphones
Sony used a line-controlled headset MDR-NWBT10N in the Walkman A866 era (2012). It is like this:
The A866 (32G) Gold Edition comes with a Bluetooth noise reduction earbud that looks like a hot Bluetooth amp with a noise reduction earbud.
However, it has the "noise reduction" function that is not available in today's Bluetooth amp products. It is easy to use with one button, and it is enough to think that Sony has such a good noise canceling headset 7 years ago.
The MDR-NWBT10N, which is very interesting in design, did not end in the market of A866 walkman. Instead, it welcomed a full range of updates and upgrades in 2013, becoming the ultimate extension of the walkman culture.
Tumblr media
There are up to five colors, and the overall shape is more beautiful than the original. And the battery life is greatly enhanced, from the first generation of 3 hours of battery life, greatly expanded to close noise reduction 9.5 hours, open the level of noise reduction 8 hours (quite practical), and support the current popular NFC (one touch), and this headset Can be pulled out, unlike the original design of the headset and receiver as a whole, so it is a good solution to use it as a small Bluetooth amp, suitable for fans who like toss.
Of course, the best place, or its noise reduction, a total of three levels, Sony integrated it in the AI NC button, toggle the button, automatically analyze the surrounding environment and give the appropriate level of noise reduction. This is similar to the previous Sony high-end wired in-ear noise canceling headphones. However, the MDR-NWBT20N solves "noise" in a "wireless" form, which is more convenient than wired.
As the "old" headset launched in 2013, it can stand on the 25th in the headset sales list. This is a very cool thing, indirectly indicating the success of the design (in the Japanese market).
Of course, the success of the MDR-NWBT20N also indirectly reflects the "pragmatic" of the Japanese people. The price of five or six thousand yen is still sufficient for office workers.
Its product settings are more on the way out, bus, subway, aircraft and other noisy environments.
It is worth mentioning that this charging cable is super thick, which is the thickest line that comes with the various Bluetooth headsets I have seen.
Seeing MDR-NWBT20N, what do you think of?
After 70 and 80, you may have thought of Sony's classic "wire-controlled" culture. The cool and full-featured Sony line-controlers are the most beautiful technology scenes in the late 19th and early 21st centuries.
And this small clip-type Bluetooth noise reducer BT20N is like a variant of walkman and Sony wire control. It has the same effect as another "variant" M504, but the M504 has no noise reduction and pays more attention to the playback function. Known as a high-quality plug-in.
The left disc of the BT20N Bluetooth receiver has a smooth feel and a reflective surface, and the rest are matte textures. He is very light in his hand.
Hanging the earphones around your neck (Sony's classic long and short line design), there is no obvious sense of gravity even if the BT20N is suspended. But Sony's design intent is to let users listen to clothes. So, the problem is, if you don't have clothes to wear, it can be very frustrating, but smart people can definitely find clever solutions. Just limited by space, I can't pull too much in this link.
In my opinion, BT20N is a Sony product with high playability and high-cost performance. If there is a chance, I will talk about its fancy use.
This line control, followed by clips, large, clipped on clothes, or collar position.
The left side of the wheel feels very good, squatting to the right and slamming it to the left.
The top is a 3.5mm headphone jack, with the cheapest sound samurai C3, expensive Sony EX1000, the sound quality is unexpectedly good, although not strictly compared with the wired form, but the basic qualities of clarity, dynamics, overtones, loudness All of them are quite in place, and I estimate that some fans can also satisfy them.
Compared with the high-quality neck-mounted Bluetooth headset Shanling MW100 (368 yuan), the sound quality of the MDR-NWBT20N (standard MDR-NC31) is also relatively close.
Can not help but feel that Sony's 2013 Bluetooth skills are really enough.
The MDR-NC31 has the same shape as the Sony Classic Plug NC33.
The top back end has a radio mic, and the intelligent noise reduction function combined with the Bluetooth receiver will have a very good noise reduction effect. This "very good" 咋 said that the basic and my XK+NC020, the effect of turning on XK noise reduction is similar, but because it also has three noise reduction levels, and the ability to intelligently analyze the external environment noise, the convenience of control Sex is significantly better than walkman noise reduction.
Hanging on the chest, in order to avoid accidental touch, the Hold button is designed. This Hold is also a common thing in many Sony portable devices, and it is very practical.
After turning it on, there is no need to wait for direct access to the noise reduction state. As for which level of the noise reduction level is the default, I don't know. But push it to the right again, you can hear a sound coming out of the ear. After about 2 seconds, the machine analyzes the external noise and enters the optimal noise reduction mode.
In order to test the general noise reduction effect, I took out the Klipsch groove Bluetooth small speaker, about half a meter away from me, the volume is turned to the maximum, and the song with a loud bass is played. The effect of AI NC intelligent noise reduction is enough. The roar of the low-frequency band has been weakened, the weakening of the medium and high frequency is small, but the full-range loudness is still effectively reduced. The difference between the earphones and the headphones is huge. In my opinion, this is already very good. The noise reduction effect is comparable to the 1MORE's two-range noise-reducing Bluetooth neck-mounted headphones, slightly over the Sony WH-CH700N (headset noise-reducing Bluetooth), sound quality and noise reduction, I estimate, lower than WI-C600N, but not contrast This is already a sufficient level.
In short, noise reduction, sound quality, and manipulation are just fine.
With the Sony front end with the NFC function, the effect is very good. Sound quality, ease of use are not said. You can play full marks. And I did not expect that this thing not only did not appear "disconnected" situation, reconnect after shutdown, whether the front end is Apple phone, Android phone, or walkman Walkman, can quickly and automatically connect successfully. The fast and steady posture made me dare not believe that this is Bluetooth 3.0, and the product was 6 years ago.
Support AAC, connect with Apple devices, sound quality is very good. And with the ZX1, although it is only SBC, the sound is even better than the apple, quite aggressive, and extremely delicate. Top brand, practicality, high sound quality, relatively low price, I think this is why the MDR-NWBT20N is prosperous in the Japanese market.
Note that it does not support calling and hooking up Siri. In addition, all the basic functions of the Bluetooth noise canceling headphones, it is quite in place, in the current Sony noise reduction products, the price/performance ratio is quite outstanding.

Worth It Chapter 5- Trap of Love
Summary: Caesar wakes up in his new home and learns some unsettling things about his best friend.
The first thing Caesar noticed when he woke up was a dull, lightly throbbing pain in the back of his head. ‘Must be a hangover,’ He told himself. ‘Did I have too much to drink last night?’ His eyes slowly opened, vision blurry as he tried to blink the sleep away and remember what happened. ‘No…wait…I didn’t drink last night…’
He tried to sit up and rub his head, but was quickly jolted into startled wakefulness when he realized that his arm couldn’t come up all the way- neither of them could. “What the-?!” Caesar raised his head to look at his arms- both of which were bound to the unfamiliar bed he now found himself on. On each of his wrists was a silver shackle that was hard, solid metal on the outside where it connected to two thick chains that were latched to locked metal hooks on the sides of the large bed, but had a soft, cushioned layer of light blue cloth on the inside- presumably so the metal wouldn’t cut him or leave scars. As Caesar looked down his body, he noticed that his feet were secured with matching shackles and chains on his ankles, preventing him from getting off of the bed (but also found that he was thankfully still dressed in his pajama pants from before).
Caesar felt panic rising in his chest and forced himself to inhale deep breaths so he could fully take in his surroundings: He was in what looked like a large master bedroom complete with an attached master bathroom that he could see through a slightly ajar door on the far side of the room to his right. Other than the door to the bathroom, there were two other doors- one to his right by the bathroom that was opened to reveal a large walk-in closet that was currently filled with boxes like someone was in the process of moving in, and another door on the wall to his left that Caesar could only assume lead to the rest of this house. The walls were painted a simple white with no pictures hung up to give him a clue as to where he was or who had brought him here, and the large floor-to ceiling windows that essentially made up the wall that he was facing in front of the bed were currently covered with dark, heavy floor-length velveteen curtains that blocked his view as well as the bright sunlight that he could see just barely peeking through the gaps in the bottom against the hard wood floor. The room was well-furnished with an antique wooden dresser, matching armoire, two wooden nightstands placed on either side of the bed, a coatrack, and, of course, the large, metal-framed, plush purple comforter-adorned, California king sized bed that Caesar was currently strapped to.
Caesar moved around to test the limits of the restraints and found that he could maneuver enough to sit up in the bed but could not get off of it in anyway. He also discovered that the chains had enough slack in them to allow him some movement in his limbs, but he couldn’t close his legs together completely and while he could bring his hands up to his waist while sitting up (or to his chest while lying down), no matter what he tried he couldn’t get his arms any higher or further back. In addition, the metal was too sturdy to break just by pulling on it and the cuffs were too tight for him to slip out of in any way at all.
In short: He was thoroughly and completely trapped.
Just as Caesar finished testing the chains for any weak links, he heard the sound of heavy footsteps approaching the door on his left. His blood ran cold as the footsteps drew closer. Was this the person who brought him here? Why? He hadn’t done anything wrong since arriving in America- was it someone from Italy coming after him for some sort of twisted revenge from his street-thug days? He was pretty sure he’d never done anything to piss off someone with THIS much money. The door knob twisted slowly as the door opened almost silently, Caesar’s heart almost stopping as he saw..he saw…
Joseph.
Joseph had walked in, wired earbuds in his ears connected to an MP3 player in his pocket that was blasting away with some muffled pop song that Caesar couldn’t be bothered to recognize at the moment. Joseph was carrying a large box in his hands that he brought over to the closet to set down with the others. Caesar briefly noticed that Joseph was wearing a different pair of jeans than before and was wearing an old brown tank top with his favorite riding jacket tied around his waist like he’d been wearing it earlier but got too warm.
Caesar could hardly believe his eyes, his voice catching in his throat. “Jo..Jojo..?”
Joseph didn’t seem to hear or notice him at first, not until he turned away from the closet and saw Caesar sitting up in the bed and staring at him. “Oh! Caesar!” He gave the blond a big smile, his voice louder than usual since he couldn’t hear himself, and paused his music before taking out his earbuds. “Morning! Sorry, didn’t wake you up, did I?” He walked over to the bed, seating himself at the foot of it between Caesar’s open legs and speaking in his normal, casual tone as if this was an everyday occurrence. “You were out for a loooooong time, y’know? Think it’s been at least..let’s see..24, 26 hours?” He looked at something on his MP3 player and whistled. “Wow, 29. That’s impressive. Guess I used a bit too much the other day. Oh well, it definitely made moving everything a lot easier.”
Caesar stared at his friend with wide eyes as his words sank in, his memory finally catching up with him. “You…You drugged my coffee…?”
Joseph clicked his tongue with a wink and did finger guns at him. “Ding! Bingo, Caesarino!”
“But..why? Why would you…?” Caesar could hardly believe this was happening. This had to be a bad dream, right?
Joseph shrugged, holding his hands with palms facing upwards parallel to his shoulders in a casual manner. “Seemed like the easiest way to get you here. It’s not like you would’ve WILLINGLY let me put the chains on you.” He said with a slight roll of his eyes and a tone of voice implying that part should have been obvious.
Caesar’s shocked expression changed to a glare and he jerked forward in the chains, feeling like he would punch Joseph if he could reach him right now. “What the FUCK, Joseph?! You drugged me and KIDNAPPED me?! Why the hell would you do that?!”
Joseph just calmly leaned back half an inch, covering his ears with a dead-pan look on his face. “First of all, you don’t need to shout- I’m RIGHT here. And it’s not like I kidnapped you- I bought this house and we DO live together, so that means it’s your home too.” He uncovered his ears and let the sarcastic expression slip into what Caesar assumed was supposed to be a gentle smile, but there was something manic and, quite frankly, terrifying in those eyes. “As for ‘why’…well…” He brought his hands forward and gently cupped Caesar’s face, leaning in until their lips brushed together as he whispered. “I love you.”
Caesar threw himself back against the pillows and the headboard, putting as much distance between himself and Joseph as the chains would allow. He tried to glare up at his best friend, but the panic he felt made his voice waver a bit. “Th-That’s not funny, Joseph! This has got to be one of your WORST jokes EVER! Just-Just let me go now and we’ll pretend this whole thing never happened!”
Joseph heaved a sigh and looked down at Caesar with a disappointed frown. “I’m not joking, Caesar. I really do love you. I tried to tell you before, but you wouldn’t listen to me. That..really hurt…” His frown deepened for a moment and Caesar saw that same pain swimming in Jojo’s eyes from that morning in the kitchen. But, just as soon as it was there, it was gone. Joseph quickly shook his head and smiled again, holding his hands up in a placating gesture. “But! I’m not mad at you or anything, if that’s what you’re worried about! I realized it was MY fault, not yours.” He put down one hand but kept the other up by his face with one raised finger like he was stating an important discovery. “Y’see, I wasn’t taking YOUR feelings into consideration before. I tried to confess to you, but you didn’t feel the same way yet- it was WAY too soon for you. But that’s okay!” He spread his arms out in a grand gesture indicating the whole room, and the house as a whole by extension. “Now that we’re out here, away from anyone or anything else, you’ve got all the time in the world to come around!” He crawled closer to Caesar with that same smile on his face, one hand lightly trailing up Caesar’s abs to his chest and finally up to caress his cheek again. “And I’ll have you all to myself, my precious little Caesar~<3”
The saccharine tone of Joseph’s voice made Caesar’s skin crawl and his stomach twist. He’d never seen this side of Joseph before and it was terrifying him. He tried to pull his face away from the large hand on his cheek, keeping a scowl firmly in place to mask his fear. “That..That’s just crazy, Joseph! Love doesn’t work like that! You can’t just kidnap me and expect me to fall for you when I’m being held against my will! What do you think- that I’ll love you after you force yourself on me?!”
Joseph looked shocked and a bit insulted by Caesar’s comment, pulling his hand back as if he was burned. “What?! No! I would never do that!” Caesar almost felt hope bubbling in his chest again, hope that this was all just a joke that Joseph was close to ending now. That hope vanished when Joseph spoke again and wrapped his arms around Caesar in a tight embrace. “I know you don’t believe me yet, but I DO love you. All I want is for us to be happy together. I would never, EVER do anything you didn’t want me to, Caesar.”
Caesar tried to squirm out of the hold but it proved futile between Joseph’s strong body and the chains. “You mean besides holding me captive against my will?”
Joseph chuckled a bit and rolled his eyes. “Okay, okay, other than THAT I won’t do anything you don’t want me to do.” He sat up and patted Caesar on the head with a smile. “Don’t worry, though, you’ll change your mind on that part soon enough.” He got up and stretched his arms and legs. “In the meantime, I’ve got a LOT of unpacking to do.” He started to walk to the door, waving over his shoulder. “I’d ask you to join me, but I think you need some time to cool off first.”
Caesar glared at his retreating back, seething with rage. “You can’t keep me here forever! I’ll get out eventually! I’ll scream while you’re gone until someone hears me if I have to!”
Joseph stopped at the door with an exasperated sigh and looked back at him. “I mean- you could try. Wouldn’t do you much good, though.” He walked over to the windows and pulled the large curtains back, the bright morning day light blinding Caesar for a minute until his eyes adjusted and his heart sank again at the sight: Trees. There was nothing but a seemingly endless (what would normally be considered gorgeous) view of a forest for miles and miles in any direction he could see through the window. “I bought this place to get out of the city and have to deal with less people. Sure, the commute to work’ll be a bit longer, but I think it’s worth it for the peace and quiet that comes with absolutely NO neighbors or people to walk by every day. Pretty nice, huh?” He asked with a slight smirk, as if he was enjoying dashing Caesar’s futile hopes of escape.
Caesar tried not to let that deter him. “Some…Someone will come looking for me eventually!”
Joseph actually chuckled at that one and walked back to the bed, looming over Caesar with that still present smirk. “Oh? Really? Like who?” He ticked off each of his following comments with his fingers. “You don’t have a job anymore, so it’s not like anyone there would bother to find you. You haven’t had any contact with your family in years. Your last girlfriend dumped you months ago, so she clearly doesn’t care enough to come looking for you- and neither do any of your other exes, for that matter. And, as far as friends go, well..” He winked down at Caesar. “All you have is ME.” He put his hands on his hips. “Face it- the only one who would bother going to look for you if you went missing would be me. You have no one else who would care enough to even TRY.”
Those words cut Caesar deep, making him look away from Joseph’s smirking face above him. “You don’t know that…” His rebuttal was half-hearted and he knew it, but, still, he didn’t want to admit that Joseph was right.
“Yes, I do.” Joseph’s voice had suddenly dropped- both in tone to sound more understanding and in distance, the latter of which Caesar confirmed when he glanced back to see Joseph kneeling beside the bed so they were at eye-level with each other. His expression was calm, devoid of its earlier smugness as well as any mania from before. “I’ve grown up observing people, watching their every move, every behavior, to the point that I can predict them almost perfectly. And, after falling in love with you, you became the person I watched the most.  I watched you and the people you chose to socialize with. While you’re not as bad as me, you do still have trouble forming attachments to other people- probably some deep-seated psychological issues that go back to your dad walking out on you as a kid or something- but that means that your circle of trust is VERY small. You have hardly anyone you care enough about to let into your life, and, while you might be mad at me now, I am still one of the only people in the world you trust. Eventually, you will see me that way again.” He gave Caesar a kiss on the forehead that was almost sweet. “And, one day, you’ll see me as even more.”
“….” For a minute, Caesar could not bring himself to move or react, a feeling of despair and dread stuck in his throat that burned like bile. Eventually he managed to turn his head away, his voice low and venomous. “Just get out of my sight, Joseph.”
Joseph stroked his head tenderly before getting up and walking to the door again. “Alright. I’m gonna go work on unpacking the rest of the house. Try and take it easy- I’ll be back to check on you later, my precious little Caesar.” And with that he left the room, closing the door behind himself.
Once Caesar was certain that Joseph was gone, he rolled onto his side as much as the chains would allow him to and curled in on himself. His body trembled, but he refused to cry- he wouldn’t give Joseph the satisfaction of seeing him broken, damn it. He would get out of this somehow. He had to…

Things I can't run without
Tumblr media
I know, running is supposed to be the most basic of all exercises, except maybe walking. We should be able to run without any additional gear, even without special clothing. And if we must do it that way, we certainly can. But, it's so much more fun and so much more pleasant when we arm ourselves with available gadgets and gizmos. I've tried many and kept only a few I can't run without, sort of. From run trackers to podcast players, here's what I use.
I started "au naturel" wearing my ancient sports shorts from high school (I was lucky they made them so stretchy that I could fit in) and sneakers I bought for walking. They were comfortable and felt great. Sneakers were already moulded by my feet. Those were simple, chafing and blister-free runs.
The more serious I became about it, though, the more I started reading online and offline about things advertised as "essential" to improve my running. To tell the truth, I was mostly interested in finding a way to measure the distance I ran. Those were the days just before GPS became omnipresent. Sometimes I drove the route I was going to run to measure the distance on the car's odometer; on one occasion I even talked a friend into following me in a car. He avoids me ever since.
I turned to the internet, bought a Nike+ pedometer, put it on my shoes and paired it with my iPod. It was inaccurate, for sure — for example a marathon I ran with it was measured as a 45 kms run, full 3 kms longer than actual distance — but it was ingenious when it comes to motivation and goal-setting. Now I could set the weekly, monthly and other goals in distance and time. And, it had a feature I miss ever since - a "Power Song". I could pre-program my own pick-me-up tune and then play it whenever I want or need it during the run by pressing and holding iPod's menu button.
If you promise not to laugh at my taste in music, I'll tell you the song that carried me through the heavy-legged final stages of quite a few marathons and half-marathons; it was Christina Aguilera's "Candyman". Other than catchy melody and cheerful vibe, it also had the perfect beat-per-minute rhythm to which I could match my stride and get some badly needed speed. When I evolved to more sophisticated distance trackers, I lost that Power Song feature and miss it ever since!
I already outed myself as the non-purist runner. (The purists being runners who don't listen to anything other than the sounds of their surroundings and their own breathing.) Yes, I run with headphones, and am not apologizing for it. Nowadays, my phone is my tracking device and a few "essential" apps keep track of my runs and make them more enjoyable. Before I bare my running soul and sole in front of you, I want you to know that I'm kind of an old geek. I like to experiment and try new things all the time, sometimes to my own detriment. One can't know if something's really good until he tries it, right? So, here are my running essentials.
A GPS-capable smartphone is a must. I have an old-ish iPhone 8 which still tracks my distance quite well.
Comfortable headphones. My ears are large — I know, I'm not proud of them and didn't ask for them, but there they are. Most of the earbuds and other fancy small earphones won't stay in my ears. They wiggle and slide out after a few running steps. So, I'm looking for headphones that hook in place in some way. Trust me, running with an earbud that needs to be tucked back in every few steps can ruin your mood run! The current ones I have is the simplest of simple sets of Panasonic wired sport headphones with plastic hook over the ear. What I look for in headphones? I want them light, with some sort of hooking solution either over ears or around the head. Waterproof, or at least water-resistant is preferable. Because, no amount of sweat or rain can stop us, right? Bluetooth wireless are great, but tend to be heavier due to the battery they need to function, which makes them fall outta my ears easier. Also, some bluetooth headphones have connection problems, even though my phone is in my waist-belt less than a meter down from my ears. Further, I prefer earphones which sit outside my ear canal, thus allowing me to hear the sound of my surroundings. It's always useful to hear the car approaching. I know it spoils the sound quality, but ask yourself do you really need a studio-quality sound while running on the road?
I've seen people running with fancy over-the-ear noise-cancelling headphones — I'd love me a pair of those for when I'm on an airplane, but there are two problems I have with them in running situation: they tend to be hot and make me sweat even more; they make me unaware of the traffic and things approaching me outside my field of vision.
My favourite run-tracking app is iSmoothrun. It has more data of my run than I really need, but hey — better too much than not enough, right? It tracks the mileage on my shoes, too. It has easily programmable intervals with great audio feedback. And it syncs with many running community and tracking sites, from Strava to RunKeeper and many in between.
Running community site I use is RunKeeper. It's neither better nor worse than the others. I have used it since 2010, all my running data since then is there and even though I tried Strava and many others, I haven't found a compelling reason to switch, yet. RunKeeper is owned by ASICS, which sort of guarantees they'll be around for a while. But really, it's the matter of preference. I can only suggest that, when you find the site that works for you, stick with it and keep all your data in one place.
One more essential app or site is a weather app. I'm currently running in Europe and use two weather mobile websites which, between them, give me the most accurate hourly forecast: Yahoo weather and Norwegian YR. In North America I trusted The Weather Network the most. Whichever app you choose, I suggest check if it offers the wind speed data per hour. Also "feels like" feature for temperature, whether it's the humidex factor (humidity index) or windchill (in the winter) is very helpful when you need to decide what to wear for the run. All the sites I mentioned above have it.
When it comes to on-run entertainment, there is your music app, whether it's the streaming one (Apple Music, Spotify) or just music playing one. I can't help you much with it, as I'm using Apple Music because it's pre-installed and all my music is there.
Then, there's a podcasts app. Podcasts are radio on demand on any topic you can think of and many you never thought of. They are great way to break the monotony of a long run. My "weapon" of choice is Overcast.
Finally, for the book-loving runners among us, there's an audiobooks app of your choice. On Apple's platforms Apple Books app (former iBooks) doubles as an e-book reader and an audiobook player. Personally, I'm a big reader, but find the audiobooks not affordable, especially at my reading pace of 3-5 books a month. I tried Audible too, it gives one book a month within the subscription, the rest costs extra. Too much for my pocket!
Then I found the solution! There's an iOS app (I'm certain there's something similar for Android too) called Epub Reader. It not only lets me read ebooks, but it also reads it to me. There is selections of voices to choose from and some of them sound almost human. When a book is so good I can't put it down for a run, I listen to it in the same app, while running. My version of the app takes only epub formatted ebooks, but there are plenty free online book conversion sites to help if your book is in a different format. You can try ToEpub, or just search for "free epub converter online".
There you go — these are the gizmos that made my runs enjoyable for years. What are yours? Also, if you have any question, just ask!

Beyerdynamic 459038 DT 990 PRO open Studio Headphonehttps://amzn.to/3jILkTg #HeadPhone #EarBuds #HandsFree https://amzn.to/3jILkTg - Beyerdynamic 459038 DT 990 PRO open Studio Headphone This is good product to analyze the voice of instruments, especially guitar&piano......the voice is very different from SENs headphone. It seems to be less emotion....you may feel the music is dry but just a little. thats based on your interest...maybe you need a amplifier....also, you can use amp and cable to change the music style. absolutely, it costs much...I had bought an amp and I dont want to burn my possession for music... I purchased these initially because I was looking for a cheaper Sennheiser alternatives. I really love every Sennheiser headset/headphones that Ive owned, but they are a little pricey for me currently. I was looking for something sturdy, but light, and something that was good for a broadcaster who plays games, but doesnt need a full headset with a built in microphone.I got exactly what I was looking for. I was very much concentrating on comfort and build quality first, Im not looking to find an audiophile experience, so keep that in mind. The DT 990s were an incredible choice. They are super light, coming away from using Blue Lolas vice grip fit on my skull, like a really expensive torture device. The 990s are like wearing clouds. They fit fully and comfortably over my ears, I have a huge head and these are plenty large enough without putting any strain on my head. They have soft cloth ear-pads, a comfortable cushion across the top, and a sturdy fit.Additionally I have no real complains about build quality. Though I havent really put it through a rigorous test, admitedly. There are metal components, particularly the brackets, that attach to the ear phones, but Im not sure if its metal all the way through the headstrap.Sound quality is fine, but nothing special, you may even have some EQ problems with it being too basey or too quiet, but again, Im running this through a Focusrite USB pre-amp and that is probably more of the problem. These are not a 3.5mm system, it is a 6.3mm set, so you will need some way to interface with whatever system you are plugging them into. The biggest concern I have with the set is, like many broadcast-centric headphones, they are using a coiled wire, which is good for being able to move around in a small space, but could be really awkward and generally bad for a more casual experience. If you are using them with a system that is regularly further away from you, this is just not the pair for you. You will have a cord stretching all the way across your room, perfect for clothes-lining children, but not great for anything else. Im not an audiophile, but I do know good sound from bad, and I enjoy listening for different instruments used in songs. My first "researched" headphones were the Senn HD 280 Pro bought primarly for gaming. I wanted an upgrade for gaming and music listening at home. What I thought would take a week to research took months, so many variables, open or closed, on the ear or over, weight, sound, amped or not, etc.The DT 990 Pro paired with a Fiio E11 portable amp seemed a hard combination to beat, so I took the plunge. Games sound great, I can pick out details not heard before, with vast improvements to openness and directional detail. Same thing with music, nothihg but clean, beautiful sound in all ranges, nothing over or underpowered. Build quality is very good, theyre sturdy but light. The earpads are soft and plush. Overall Im impressed with sound and build quality. If I had to find a negative, they could have included some kind of storage. Yes theyre intended for fixed studio use, but even a cheap storage bag would have been nice. And while the headband padding is adequate, the wrap is kinda cheap feeling. Genuine leather would be nice. Please see my pic of these hooked to the Fiio E11 amp and my iPad. The E11 amp powers these very nicely. I can hear the difference switching from low to hi gain, or switching between the three EQ options which produce progressively heavier bass. Hi gain and EQ 2 for me. Very clean sound with good balance. Yes there are better amps out there, perhaps down the road. For the budding audiophile though, this combination is very tough to beat. Glad I took my time. I didn't like headphones but DT-990 PRO !!!!! I love it !!!!!Best headphones everGreat sound quality, very good price ($145) , and build qualityI using it for music an... by Shopping Reviews

Jabra Elite Sport wireless review: in some unspecified time in the future, these buds might replace your current huntsman
Fitness buffs can love what quantity they will do with them, however $250 continues to be steep. Jabra, the audio company that has a powerful line of fitness pursuit earbuds, has embraced wireless technology.
The $250 Jabra Elite Sport wireless buds area unit the same as Samsung's Gear IconX and also the Bragi Dash earbuds in this they're product of 2 modules that stick in your ears with none wires connecting them. all of them use embedded pulse rate monitors to trace each cardio and strength workouts, creating them potential replacements for that fitness huntsman on your carpus. additional thus than most of the fitness buds we've antecedently tested, Jabra's Elite Sport buds have the potential to be Associate in Nursing all-in-one solution: they allow you to hear music, answer phone calls, and track exercises with one device that has no vexing wiring to trip you.
But packing all those options into one device has its execs and cons. I lived with the Elite Sport wireless buds to ascertain however well they'd match into my active manner and whether or not they are price their $250 worth.
Design
The Elite Sport's earbuds area unit rectangular and lumpy in order that they will match into the open portion of every of your ears. they need the standard removable earbud tips and wings, and finding the insufficient bits that suit your ears best is crucial. ensuring the buds do not move around in your ears ensures the center rate monitor, placed at rock bottom of the correct earbud, can browse your pulse accurately. The Elite Sport comes with six otherwise sized tip sets, 3 in plastic and 3 in foam. If you hate hearing background whereas you've got your headphones on, foam is your best bet.
The ear wings area unit alittle different: 2 sizes have actual wings, or hooks, that curve into the facet of your ear, and one size doesn't have a wing in the least. That choice nearly acts sort of a sock for the buds by wrapping them in siloxane and going away the perimeters of your ears blank. i prefer having wings to stay the buds in my ears, however I had to modify from the larger wings to the smaller wings once some workouts. They were too tight and created the facet of my ear sore once carrying them for quite half-hour at a time. shift to the smaller, diluent wing fastened that.
Once you discover the correct match, the Elite Sport is comfy to wear, each after you simply wish to concentrate to music on your commute or after you would like music to induce through Associate in Nursing HIIT circuit. Neither bud ever fell out of my ears, and that i seldom had to regulate them for comfort or to regain pulse rate observation. Once they are in your ears, you'll leave them alone and that they will not fail you.
Jabra even place controls on the earbuds thus you do not ought to reach for your phone each second. The left bud controls skipping music and volume, whereas the correct bud allows you to answer phone calls and manually flip the earbuds off. once placed into their charging cable, the Elite Sport mechanically turns off to save lots of power. The buds also are freelance from one another, thus if you take away one in every of them from your ear, it'll mechanically shut off, whereas the bud still in your ear can keep enjoying.
But even those precautions can not help the Elites store additional power than their battery permits. The buds will play 3 hours of music on a charge, and also the charging case holds another six hours of playback. that is quite enough to induce you thru a exertion, that is nice. However, if these area unit your everyday earbuds and not simply your exertion buds, you'll need to charge them daily. I created a habit of plugging the buds in, within their case, nightly. That ensured I had enough battery life to induce through regular daily commutes, workouts, and casual listening.
Jabra's $250 Elite Sport wireless earbuds.  Valentina Palladino The buds area unit utterly wireless and contain a pulse rate monitor. The charging case harnesses six hours of battery life for the buds.  Valentina Palladino The buds mechanically shut off once taken out of the ears or once placed within the case.  Valentina Palladino Nodes connect the buds to the case for charging.  Valentina Palladino Plug the case in to charge via microUSB.  Valentina Palladino
Features
When connected to the Jabra Sport Life app, the Elite Sport wireless buds will track coaching plans, cardio workouts, cross-training workouts, and fitness tests. coaching plans area unit scheduled  cardio workouts that the app makes for you counting on your goals and the way usually you would like to coach. for instance, I selected my goal as "improve steady," as compared to "gently," "intensely," and some alternative choices. For frequency, I went with coaching each weekday. The app created a thought Pine Tree State|on behalf of me} that had me running each Tues, Wednesday, and Friday, with the ultimate run being the foremost intense of all of them.
Tuesday's run goal was one.86 miles over half-hour, with a coaching impact of two.8. Jabra's "training effect" measure is Associate in Nursing estimate of however the exertion has effects on your body on a scale from one to 5, with one being the best form of exertion—one that is not very pushing your body—and 5 being a workout that is chop-chop up your overall fitness. coaching impact scores modification in real time as you exertion. Jabra's voice coach pipes in throughout your exertion to update you on coaching impact and a bunch of alternative stats, as well as pace, cadence, period of time, heart rate, and more.
Overall, coaching plans area unit nice if you've got a nebulous goal in mind and would rather not select your exertion each single day. For people who wish to alter things informed a whim, you'll choose cardio workouts to trace on every occasion you employ the app, as well as indoor and out of doors running and walking, hiking, cycling, skiing, and spinning. you'll additionally choose a target goal if you've got a group pace or pulse rate zone in mind, for instance, otherwise you will simply track Associate in Nursing activity with Associate in Nursing open goal.
This is what I did most of the time, and, sadly, the Elite Sport buds were slightly inaccurate with pulse rate measurements in comparison to the GPS-enabled Apple Watch Series a pair of. The Elite Sport was additionally so-so on distance measurements. Distances were systematically regarding .4-miles quite what the Watch and also the treadmill calculated, and pulse rate readings were regarding ten bpms below the Watch's recordings. The Elite Sport buds constitute the entice that several pulse rate monitors do: they browse pulse rates below what they really area unit throughout intense exercise. The Elite Sport came nearer to the Apple Watch's readings once my pulse rate was around one hundred twenty five M.M., that could be a typical rate once i am walking on the treadmill right once a full of life run.
During the exertion, Jabra's voice coach can lower your music and disrupt with updated stats like time advance, current pulse rate, coaching impact, pace, and more. All of this may be custom right before you begin the exertion, as well as however usually the voice coach chimes in. i prefer to stay mine at each ten minutes and whenever I pass 2 miles in distance.
At the top of every exertion, the game Life app shows you Associate in Nursing updated fitness level score, that is simply a visual image of your calculable VO2 easy lay. That stat, that represents however simply your body will provide and transport gas to your heart throughout intense exercise, is difficult for any wearable to calculate since it generally needs respiration measurements likewise as pulse rate. However, rather like Fitbit's new devices (including the Charge 2), Jabra estimates VO2 easy lay so as to grant you a snap of however your fitness level is up once each exertion, as compared to the typical for those of comparable age and gender.
I was happy to ascertain that, once each exertion I finished, my fitness level score went up slightly. That driven ME to push alittle tougher throughout my next exertion. If you would like instant gratification post-workout, you'll fancy Jabra's fitness level assessment and notice that it helps you perform higher over time.
While we'll get to the structure of Jabra's guided  workouts within the next section, i am going to comment here that really exploitation that feature could be a pleasure after you desire a break from cardio. Jabra has thirteen pre-made strength coaching workouts with names like BellyBurn, PushPerfection, LegDay, and YouVsBarbell that you just will follow on through the Elite Sport earbuds. after you begin one in every of these workouts, the app can tell you to start out the primary move and either count you down in period of time or completed reps. once finished, you will sit through a delegated rest time before moving on to following exercise within the circuit.
The Elite Sport buds monitor your pulse rate throughout the circuit, rather like it'd if you were running or walking, and it provides you a outline at the top of the session. you'll do that with the pre-made workouts or those you produce yourself. Not several devices have this feature. A Jabra representative told ME that, within the next code update, the Elite Sport buds can support automatic rep enumeration likewise. That means, if you are finishing a 20-crunch set as a part of a circuit, the buds ought to count every rep mechanically and replicate that progress within the app. Currently, after you run through rep-based sets (rather than time-based sets), you've got to count every rep yourself Associate in Nursingd faucet an arrow-like button within the app once you are finished to maneuver on to following set. With automatic rep enumeration, this method ought to be abundant easier and utterly hands-free. following code update is meant to come back out before Christmas.

Review: The AirPods area unit fine wireless headphones for a particular style of person
If you are method into Apple, your EarPods work, and you have got expendable money, welcome. When we reviewed the iPhone seven in Gregorian calendar month, we tend to conjointly have to be compelled to pay it slow with a combine of the flowery new wireless AirPods. At the time, the “final” versions were slated to ship in precisely a couple of weeks, however the planned late October unleash was delayed with no reason or time estimate given. AirPods didn’t truly begin shipping till earlier this month, and quantities were restricted enough that shipping times quickly slipped to January and Gregorian calendar month.
Apple doesn’t sometimes wish to announce things early, and it doesn’t wish to miss its own deadlines publically, however it conjointly required to own a daring statement concerning the wireless future to travel together with the iPhone 7’s missing electro-acoustic transducer jack. however the issues with the AirPods, whether or not they were wireless problems or producing bottlenecks, were apparently severe enough for the temporal arrangement to slide.
Apple sent America a final production version of the AirPods in exchange for the non-final version we tend to tested before. the corporate wouldn’t tell America what the variations were, though, and everything from the packaging to the markings on the hardware to the pairing method and audio quality is seemingly identical. therewith in mind, we’ve revisited and dilated our original impressions—but final hardware hasn't modified those impressions dramatically.
Unpacking and mistreatment the AirPods
The AirPods are available tiny|alittle|atiny low} cardboard box with a USB-A to Lightning cable however no separate power adapter—another small speedbump on the road to USB-C. It’s simple to miss the very fact that there’s a cable within the box the least bit, hidden because it is underneath the box’s white cardboard insert.
The headphones themselves are available atiny low shiny white flip-top case paying homage to a floss dispenser or a igniter, and also the case's end is identical stylish to the one Apple uses for the Apple Pencil. Clearly shiny white-and-silver is that the method forward for Apple’s sensible accessories, when the Macs and iPhones they hook up with stick with metal or shiny black. The case conjointly is a mobile wireless charger for the buds themselves, and there’s atiny low feminine Lightning instrumentation at rock bottom to charge it up. There’s an almost invisible button on the rear of the case for pairing—the W1 chip plus iCloud can create it in order that several consumers ne'er ought to use it, however you’ll ought to press it with the AirPods within to combine it with any traditional Bluetooth devices, and it’s useful if things come back mismatched.
A small indicator light-weight between the 2 AirPods within the charger case tells you once the buds area unit charged and once they still would like a lot of time—green suggests that charged, orange suggests that charging. the sunshine also will gently pulse white whereas the case is in pairing mode.
On AN iPhone, pairing is accomplished by flipping open the highest of the case close to your phone—this works precisely the same method notwithstanding whether or not you’re mistreatment AN iPhone five or AN iPhone seven, that is pretty cool. Hit "Connect" on your phone, and you’re able to go. After that, you'll check your AirPods’ battery level within the Batteries gizmo, otherwise you will flip the highest of the case close to your phone to create a custom battery standing sheet for each the AirPods and also the case. Take one among the AirPods out of the case whereas this sheet is visible, and it will show you the battery level for every individual AirPod rather than the battery level for each directly. For no obvious technical reason, neither the pairing nor the battery standing sheet work on iPads or iPod Touches.
Apple says that the AirPods themselves will offer up to 5 hours of battery life on one charge, that the battery case will charge them enough to urge you up to a complete of twenty four hours, which pop dead AirPods into the battery case for quarter-hour can yield concerning 3 hours of battery life. this can be Apple’s normal answer to questions about longevity with its Bluetooth accessories: charging the Magic Mouse a pair of with the port on rock bottom, the Apple Pencil that juts awkwardly out of rock bottom of your iPad, or the AirPods may be annoying, however in a very pinch you don’t ought to charge them for long to urge you the maximum amount power as you wish to complete doing no matter you’re doing. It’s a compromise, for sure, however it’s habitable.
Charged AirPods sitting in their case can slowly drain the case battery over time. fully unattended, the case discharges at the speed of 10-or-so % each day. You won’t ought to charge daily, however once each 2 or 3 days could be a affordable estimate.
The AirPods area unit formed specifically like Apple’s normal EarPods, thus if you hate the method the wired earbuds feel or if they physically don’t slot in your ears, you won’t like these either. however the sound quality is perceptibly higher than the three.5mm or Lightning AirPods. particularly, the bass is clearer and louder, that is usually the most important issue with low cost or weak speakers and headphones. And you'll attribute the development to the limited cutout on the rear of the headphones.
In regular EarPods, this cutout is simply a little slit. In AirPods, it’s larger with its own very little speaker grille. place your fingers over that cutout on the AirPods whereas music is enjoying, and you’ll hear the bass tones change state entirely. thus AirPods could also be costly, however a minimum of you’ll get AN audio-quality upgrade if you spring for them.
The standard EarPods work simply fine in my ears, thus i used to be ne'er upset concerning the AirPods separation even though i used to be running or tilting my head around. In fact, while not a cable shove them or obtaining caught on things, the headphones truly feel lighter and fewer vulnerable to setting out than the quality EarPods do. whether or not i used to be cookery or doing chores round the house or going for a jog, I ne'er had any downside with AirPods escaping.
My main downside is that the controls on the AirPods area unit rather more limiting than those on the wired earbuds. the quality receiver comes with atiny low nub on the wire that controls volume and may play and pause playback, however it’s conjointly capable of tons a lot of if you recognize the way to use it. you'll skip tracks and return to previous tracks, alter Siri, scrub forward and backward in audio, use it as an overseas trigger to snap photos, and answer or finish calls. The AirPods can’t even do volume changes, and if you wish them to be ready to play and pause music, you’ll either ought to get within the habit of removing one from your ear (at that purpose the AirPods stop enjoying automatically) or put off double-tap-for-Siri in favor of double-tap-to-play/pause.
To replace these lost functions, Apple turns to Siri, that is a lot of practical in some ways—you will arouse directions, check AirPod or iPhone battery standing, raise concerning the weather, and every one the opposite stuff you'll do with Siri. however it’s not continually acceptable or doable to use voice controls for everything. What if you wish to regulate the amount however you’re already on a call? What if you’re on a train while not web property and can’t reach Siri? What if you simply don’t like rebuke your phone or if you like the moment feedback of a button to the delayed (and doubtless misinterpreted) feedback of voice controls? As I’ve used the AirPods longer and switched back and forth between the AirPods and EarPods, this has become the factor I’ve likable the smallest amount.
On high of all that, the initial swift, unforgiving web reaction to the AirPods still resonates, and that i don’t love having small white straws jabbing 2 inches out of my ears even though I do principally just like the method they sound and work. It’s not a retardant if I’m sitting at my table or wandering round the house, however after you go outside in them you are doing feel like there’s a large white shiny arrow pointed at you that everybody will see. currently that they’re setting out to get around into the wild, the sensation could disappear as they become a lot of normalized. I found the same factor to be true of the Apple Watch, that felt ostentatious initially however felt less conspicuous because the sight of them became a lot of common.
If you are doing hate the planning of Apple’s headphones, the W1-equipped Beats models ought to offer you an equivalent pairing expertise in a very totally different package. Otherwise, it’s Bluetooth or bust.
