update v12 (5/21/24) holafly (israel and egypt), nomad (regional middle east), simly (palestine and middle east), mogo (israel), and airalo (discover) are currently in the highest in demand. if it has been more than 3 weeks since you initially sent your esim and your esim has not been activated, you can reforward your original email with the expiration date in the subject line. you can see gothhabiba’s guide for how to tell if your esims have been activated. if your esim has expired without use, you can contact customer service to renew or replace it.

troubleshooting hint 1: if you are trying to pay through paypal, make sure you have pop-ups enabled! otherwise the payment window won't be able to appear. (this issue most frequently seems to occur with nomad)

troubleshooting hint 2: if you are trying to purchase an esim using the provider's app, it may block you from purchasing if your phone does not fit the requirements to install and use their esims. use their website in your browser instead and this problem should go away.

nomad

for the month of may, first time referrals give 25% off for a person's first purchase and 25% off the referrer's next purchase! it's a great time to use someone's referral code from the notes if you are a first time buyer.

you can use a referral code to get $3 off your first purchase and also make it so the person whose code you used can buy more esims for gaza. many people have been leaving their referral codes in the replies of this post and supposedly a referral code may eventually reach capacity so just keep trying until you find one that works! BACKPACKNOMAD is another code to get $3 off your first purchase, it's been working for some people but not others so try out a referral code instead if you can't get it to work. NOMADCNG is a code for 5% off any middle east region nomad esims posted by connecting gaza. it can be used on any purchase, not just your first but is generally going to give less off than the first-purchase only codes, so use those first. it can be used in combination with nomad points. AWESOME NEW CODE: nomad esim discount code for 75% off any plan, NOMADCS25 do not know how long it lasts but this is an amazing deal esp. since they are really low on esims right now! (nomad promo codes do not work on plans that are already on sale, unlimited plans, and plans under $5)

nomad also seems to be kind of sluggish sometimes when it comes to sending out emails with the codes. you can look for them manually by going to manage -> manage plans -> the plan you purchased -> installation instruction and scroll down to install esim via QR code or manual input then select QR code to find the QR code which you can screenshot and email to them. often just the act of logging back into your nomad account after purchase seems to cause the email with the code to come through though.

mogo

mogo's website is fucking annoying to navigate and i couldn't find any promo codes, but their prices are massively on sale anyway. you have to pick if you want your esim to be for iphone, ipad, or android for some reason. according to statcounter, android makes up approx. 75% of mobile markets in palestine while iphone represents approx. 25%. so i would probably recommend prioritizing donations of android esims but if you can afford multiple, try buying an iphone one too? if i can find any official direction from the connecting gaza crew on this i will update with it.

a good referral code to use for mogo is 8R29F9. the way things are worded are confusing but as far as i can tell, if you use it we both get a 10% discount on your first purchase. (the referrer gets a 10% voucher that allows them to top up in use esims, they are someone who i know has bought a lot of esims and will be able to make good use of the top-up discount vouchers!) also upon signing up it automatically generates a password for you which you can change by downloading the app. (check your email to find your account's current password)

holafly (also looking for holafly esims for egypt now)

holafly is pricier than the others and the only promo code i could find was ESIMNOW for 7% off. someone in the tags mentioned GETESIM7 as another 7% off code they had received, so if you have already used ESIMNOW or can't seem to get it to work, try GETESIM7. another 7% off code is HOLAXSUMMER7 which is valid until june 2nd. referral codes only seem to give 5% off and they don't stack. (i don't remember the source, it was on some sketchy coupon site i don't want to link to and only can recommend because i tried it myself) you can also use my referral link for 5% off if you can afford the 2% worse deal on your end, it will give me $5 credit which i can put towards buying more esims. connecting gaza has also posted the promo code HOLACNG for 5% off but since it is less than the 7% off codes and as far as i can tell does not give credit towards others to buy esims like the referral links, i would consider it lower priority for use.

simly (note: simly must be downloaded as an app to be used, the website link is to help people confirm they are downloading the right app)

i have not personally used simly so i am going to be going off of the sixth slide of mirna el helbawi's instagram guide, with some corrections from someone who has successfully purchased an esim from simly. after downloading the app and making an account, search for palestine or middle east and purchase your preferred package. the page the app takes you to after your purchase should have the QR code to send to the esimsforgaza email, it won't show up in your email receipt. someone kindly left her referral code in the tags of this post, it gives $3 off your first purchase and will give her $3 credit to put towards purchasing more esims for gaza. the code is CIWA2. (if this referral code doesn't work, try one from the notes of this post!) according to someone in the notes, ARB is a simly promo code for 25% off esims that is still working as of march 3rd.

airalo

some people have noted issues trying to sign up for airalo using the browser version of the website, it worked for me but if you are struggling you can give the mobile app a try and that should work. you can use a referral code to get $3 off your first purchase and give the code suppler a $3 credit for buying more esims. KARINA9661 is a code sourced from this post which is also a wonderful example of how using people's referral codes can really make a difference. if for some reason that referral code isn't working, you can find more in the notes of the original esim post i made here.

Apps we use as a system !

Simply plural!

Simply plural is a great app for Systems! it allows you to track who's fronting, add more in depth information about who's fronting, Sort headmates out into groups, it also has a chat function.

Negatives: whilst it is a great app! it is more ideal for Smaller to medium sized Systems or Systems that switch solidly or for longer periods of time, as a bigger system outself, we find it quite difficult to use Sometimes, as it can be difficult for us regrading having to get up and log things.

they are also supportive of endogenic "Systems" and their resources do contain misinformation.

Octocon!

octocon is very similar to simply plural!

you can add headmates, categorise them, it also has a bit directly in discord, so it could be easier for some systems to use! It also has a diary feature! we have less to say about this as we personally don't use it, but it could be helpful for other systems!, it is currently only on andriod but will be releasing on IOS late 2024/2025

we feel that the app is quite clunky and can be difficult to use, especially if your already using apps like simply plural.

they also have a limit on how many alters profiles you can create to "limit the amount of fakers" - to specify direct quote from the official octocon server linked on there website, “the alter limit is to basically protect against ddos attacks, without the limit someone could take up an unreasonable amount of the bots resources and crash it. theres no way to go past it, and nobody so far has gotten close to going past the alter limit as far as we know.” I heard the term fakers being thrown around, I also assume that by “fakers” they mean endo “systems” but still the tone is there and it rubs me the wrong way considering systems that have high high alter counts (such as ourselfs) :)

Notion!

Notion is a great app! we personally dont use it to track our system but we know many Systems that do! it can easily be used for tracking fronts, alters, giving alters journal pages etc! it's very easy to use for beginners and there are many tutorials on YouTube about it! It is also used by a alot of singlets too!

our only criticism is that it isn't built for Systems! So you would need to build it all yourself or use templates if that makes sense which we know for Some Systems could be a struggle!

Mindly

Mindly is a very easy to use app, which is commonly used for making innerworld maps! It's very simply to visualise and understand!

Our negatives for mindly are that there is a limit on how many maps you can make, if you are like us for example and have different layers in your system you wouldn't be able to make multiple maps for those layers, also it is very limited on how you can customise your bubbles, with only the colour, text and emoji

Fortelling

Fortelling is a great app! you can use it to create innerworld maps every easily! being able to include images and in-depth describes also!, we also use it to create split/fussion maps, and you can also use it similarly to Simply plural as you can add in depth information and also custom fields!

Anytype

Anytype is a good app for creating private journal pages for headmates!

It's a great way to allow alters there own private space to express themselves

Our negatives is that it can be quite confusing when you first start using the app, and it could get confusing if you are a bigger System

Twinote

we love twinote! it's such a fun way to communicate with your headmates! the app is very similar to twitter but it's completely private! alters can completely create there own profiles and communicate with each other very easily!, we also know singlets that use it for role playing also! :)

Daylio

We use daylio well daily! it's a great way to track things like switches or Symptoms eta very simply! we also use it for non system related things just like sleep, school, our mood etc!! It's been so helpful for us and our doctors!

Tutorial : How to make roads with car parking space

When I first started using the create a world tool, I immediatly wanted to make roads with car parking space. The only world where I had seen these types of roads were in Boroughsburg by potato-ballad-sims. So, I searched up the internet as one would do when you don't know how to do something and nothing until I found this post by krrank on their forum. I already knew how to make roads at that time. In fact, it was only when I saw her showcase of dirt roads, that I saw how there was a way to make roads larger to then add cars parked on the side. Now, because I haven't found a proper tutorial on how to actually do that, I decided to make my own tutorial and share how I managed to do it. It's not as perfect as Boroughsburg in term of sidewalk intersections (because I'm not the best at texture editing) but enough to have the look of parked cars, which can make a town look so much more lively.

What I'm assuming before this tutorial :

You're familiar with the CAW tool

you know how to place roads

you know how to create roads using textures provided by EA or CC road textures

You know how to add custom content for CAW (only applicable if you don't own the university EP)

The downside

The only downside with these roads is that sims will walk/run through the cars when going somewhere because we're basically using the sidewalk as parking space. To balance that out, I suggest using hybrid roads in your world : normal roads with normal sidewalks and roads with parking space.

" Okay but there's no sidewalk now, what do I do ? " : Simple ! Place independent sidewalks on the side. A bit like this (ignore the fact that this is not completly aligned to the grid) :

Step 2 : Placing cars on the road

I highly suggest using cars that are meant for decoration and aren't high poly. If you're using super CAW do not use the drivable cars that can be bought in game. In my case, I used the debug cars from the university EP meant for decoration and lowered them until it hid the parking curb. If you don't have the university EP, the world CC from Boroughsburg includes deco cars used for the purpose of parked deco cars !

Do not put too many cars on the roads (I only do it because I do not care since I'm making my own personal world, but if you intend to share the world you're making, limit the cars that you put on the streets)

How to hide the parking curb (for university cars) :

Lower your car's position (Y axis, green line) to : 15,4 - (Good enough height to hide the concrete curb and only hides a tiny bit of the car's wheels)

Don't forget to rotate (Y axis) the cars to the right direction. In fact, to be 100% accurate in the rotation placement of your cars, you can write the exact degree in the board that appears when you select an object. So, basically : 90 / -90 OR 180 / -180

thank you, i appreciate that! i dont have a ton of tips since ive only been at it for a little over half a year, and im kinda flying by the seat of my pants cuz i dont have a lot of people i talk to day-to-day about presentation. pretty much everything ive figured out by myself and with youtube tutorials. regardless, heres a few i can think of:

don't be afraid to go to a makeup store and ask for advice. i brought a picture of myself i put through faceapp to give me makeup, and i showed it to the ladies at sephora, who were able to get me exactly what i was looking for. theres a world of difference between a face full of makeup, and a face full of makeup that's slightly the wrong shade, and it's good to get the opinions of experts.

try to look at the other women in your family and see how they style themselves, or do their makeup, or even how they speak or carry themselves. finding a look that works isn't somethin that you can fall into super easily, you have to go searching for it. try to model yours after the people who literally share your genes and therefore your features. (note, the opposite is equally usable for transmascs, look at your brothers, fathers, and uncles)

spend time in the mirror seeing what looks right. comb your hair in different directions, part it in a different place, put a clip in, dye it a different color, etc. put on makeup and then take it all off, then put on way too much and only take half of it off. learn the muscle memory of holding a liquid eyeliner pen in your non dominant hand and tracing it across the eyelid on the opposite side of your face without twitching your eye. nobody will see you, you're in your own bathroom. with the resources you have, treat the Bathroom Fit Check like you're customizing a character in a videogame.

look for your angles! i wish i could look good at every angle, but i don't, and vanishingly few people actually do. i spent a lot of time looking at myself in my front-facing phone camera from different directions and thinking "fuck im never going to pass, i really dont look great. is this even worth it?" and no matter how much doubt i had, in the long run the answer ended up being yes, it is worth it. that's kinda how hard things are: they suck until they don't anymore.

this one is really simple and may not apply to you, but fix your posture. seriously. when i started standing up straight for a few weeks i noticed an change in how i looked and carried myself (and my back doesnt hurt as much now)

come to terms with the fact that a lot of women look like men, and a lot of men look like women. the idea that all men look one way and all women look the other is an propagandstic invention of the state that should not be taken seriously. (note: this tip works only inwardly as a facet of self actualization. no matter what, you will always run into people who buy into the propaganda. to the best of your ability, pay them no mind.)

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

The first gift for the Petalruesimblr Advent Calendar is custom paintings! I started with something small as my first one. Originally, I planned to share just one custom painting I created months ago but decided to add another one related to the holidays.

This time, I've also included the poly count as I understand some people may want to know that information before downloading custom content. I use TSRW for all the custom paintings I've released so far and followed the instructions from Sims Wiki (check under Credits for the direct link) to calculate the poly count. The images used for both paintings are from Pixabay and I’ve included in-game pictures as well as their respective catalog entries in the screenshots above. As shown, the Holiday Glow and Abstract Minimalism paintings each includes three overlays/pictures. Let me know if you have any questions or experience any problems on your end!

How to get rid of pre-made Sims completely

Would you like to create a neighborhood, but without Kaylynn Langerak, Benjamin Long, pre-made social group Sims etc.? Or maybe you'd like to get rid of the generic Family Bin Sims before you start a brand new Pleasantview? This tutorial will show you how to disable generating pre-made Sims of certain categories and let the game generate new ones in their place. Pick and choose!

This will only work in a freshly loaded neighborhood! If the game has already loaded all the Sims in your Documents folder, do NOT delete their character files!!!

If you wipe these folders off character files, these Sims will never reappear in any of your newly loaded neighborhoods. They will come back after you reinstall the game. So back up the folders just in case! BUT if you lose the backup, you can download these Sims/families as subhoods here. The subhood can be deleted right after adding it and the Sims will remain in the Family Bin.

How does the game generate these Sims? They are located in the game installation files, in a particular DLC's folder. When you first launch a neighborhood, you can see loading screens of Pets, Weather, Magic... this is when the game imports these Sims into the neighborhood folder in Documents. Most of them are called "stealth hoods", but you can also clean out visible neighborhoods and have them completely empty, buildings only.

You can download empty stealth hoods on ModTheSims. They are folders with deleted character files, so if you feel safer downloading and replacing folders like that, go ahead! But stealth hoods are not all that you can clean out. Subhoods also have clean versions, so if your only problem is a Sim's broken face template – no need to pre-delete all Sims, just get the clean version!

All folder paths are the defaults. If you have your game in a custom folder, I assume you know where it is. If you don't have the Ultimate Collection, the folders may look different, so I'll give you directions on which DLC we're talking about, as it's actually easier to navigate them if you have the Legacy Collection or disks.

Basic townies and service Sims The townies and NPCs from Pleasantview that generate in every custom neighborhood. These include Kaylynn Langerak and Benjamin Long mentioned at the beginning. You can pre-delete them in: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods\N001\Characters So in Pleasantview's game files directory. Go into the "Characters" folder and delete all files. The folder must remain empty. Note: This deletes ALL Pleasantview Sims, so if you load Pleasantview AFTER doing this, there will be NO SIMS, even playables! Doesn't affect an already launched Pleasantview.

Strays, adoption pool pets and the Roseland family Pets EP. If you want completely fresh strays and pets to adopt, delete all files in the "Characters" folder here: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\EP4\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\P001\Characters Now, if you call the Pet Adoption Center, your game might freeze for a minute because it will be generating a lot of pets. For puppies/kittens to appear in the pool, it needs to generate strays first, as baby pets are made with strays' DNA.

Ottomas, Ramaswami and Garden Club Sims Seasons EP. Delete all files in the "Characters" folder here: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Seasons\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\G002\Characters

Cleaning folders of the Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time and Apartment Life expansion packs = NO FAMILIES in the Family Bin! Except of course the ones that belong in a neighborhood, such as the Burbs in Pleasantview. Cleaning all folders mentioned above will result in an empty "Characters" folder in a freshly made custom neighborhood. So now you can make all Sims from scratch. To prevent the game from randomly generating townies and strays, you'll need a few mods: NoTownieRegen (find on the list) NoStrayRespawnNoDormieRegen I also recommend Anti-Redundancy

You can also have:

Pre-made universities with NO pre-made Sims Dorms, houses, university buildings... but with no students. University EP. Delete all files in the "Characters" folders here: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\University Life\EP1\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate U001 – Sim State University. Wiping this folder off character files will prevent the game from importing generic Sims (dormies, mascots, professors) in a custom university neighborhood. It's a college equivalent of Pleasantview. I also recommend getting the One Professor mod. U002 – La Fiesta Tech. U003 – Academie Le Tour.

Pre-made Downtown with NO pre-made Sims Nightlife EP. Delete all files in the "Characters" folder here: C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\EP2\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\D001\Characters

Tutorial: Importing an existing world into CAW

Note: I did not write this tutorial! I copy/pasted it from here. I just don't have confidence that TS3 websites will remain viable in the long term, so I'm preserving this mostly for my own future reference. But, maybe it will be helpful for other folks like me who aren't very CAW-savvy and just want to make some edits to an existing world in ways that you can't do in-game. The slightly edited original post is pasted behind the cut.

1) Install the world in the usual way in your fresh game folder. If it is a real prerequisite, in that Riverview objects are used in the world, you'll need to install Riverview too. Of course this also goes for Barnacle Bay or any other custom world EA may release separately. This is also a good time to check in your Installed Items whether any "foreign" CC came with it.

2) Start CAW and make a new world. It will ask for a .png, press the … box and you'll get a few 'starters', choose any. Accept all the rest and OK. You don't need to worry about parameters for your world as they will be overwritten later anyway. Save As the new world with a name you will use temporarily, not the definitive name you want to give it. Let's call it Temp.world for now. Close CAW.

3) Open S3PE and browse to the The Sims 3 Create A World Tool\UserToolData\Worlds and you'll find your Temp.world file. Open it.

4) Use Resource->Import->From package… and browse to your The Sims 3\InstalledWorlds and open the world file you want to "import". Accept the default settings for Import, when it asks you to save between packages, say No. It will show a progress bar so you'll know it's done. This may take a while.

5) Sort the resources by Type (click the "header") and find UNKN 0x296A6258 there. If all is well you should have two, one already deleted (struck out), right-click the other and select "Deleted" to delete it too. At the bottom of the file you should have two WPID resources, one already deleted, delete the other too.

6) Use the "close" button in the upper right to close S3PE. It will tell you the package has changed, choose Yes to save the changes. The reason for doing it this way is you'll know it's done when the S3PE window closes. This may take a while.

7) Start the CAW tool and open your Temp.world. Wait until the render window shows you a reasonable picture of something in the world. This may take a while and there is no real progress indication.

8) Right-click on the Temp.world on the left pane (World Layers) and choose Add/Edit description. Make sure the Name and Description fields are filled in. You can use your final name and description here. Also make sure there is a .png for the thumbnail. If there isn't, browse up one of the samples you got earlier or make sure you have one ready. This needs to be in the 24-bit 256x256 format!

9) Save As the world with the final name, let's say Final.world. It will give you a "wait" cursor for a while and then a normal cursor. Don't touch it!! It's not done! Leave the computer to it until a window pops up informing you the world is successfully saved.

The opposite direction is quite simple, just start CAW and use "Export world". It will put a .sims3pack in your The Sims 3\Exports folder. You can take that out and put it in the Download folder and install it as usual.

It wasn’t much, but it was theirs—a ritual that grounded them in the midst of busy lives.

And now, the mug was broken.

“Damn it,” Casey muttered, running a hand through her hair. She swept the jagged pieces into a bowl and stared at them helplessly. Maybe it can be fixed? She pulled out her phone, scrolling through DIY tutorials. But the more she watched, the more discouraged she became. The steps looked deceptively simple—clean the edges, apply glue, clamp it carefully—but Casey knew better. She wasn’t exactly the queen of precision. Determined to make it right, she searched online for a replacement. But her heart sank as she discovered the mug was discontinued. A few listings showed up on secondhand sites, but the prices were outrageous.

Casey chewed her lip. If she couldn’t find the exact one, maybe she could recreate it. She opened a custom mug design website and started playing with the text. At first, it seemed easy—just type out the words, pick a font, and voilà. But none of the fonts matched the original. One was too sleek, another too childish. After scrolling through a seemingly endless list, Casey rubbed her eyes and sighed. “This is hopeless,” she muttered.

Still, she wasn’t ready to give up. She tried again, painstakingly adjusting the font size and spacing until it looked close enough. She felt a flicker of hope—until she saw the estimated delivery time. “Two weeks?!” Casey groaned. “Seriously?”

Caught up in her spiraling thoughts, she didn’t hear Alex come in until arms wrapped around her waist from behind. Casey jumped, nearly dropping her phone. “Whoa, hey,” Alex said, laughing softly. She kissed Casey’s temple, the warmth of her lips sending a shiver down Casey’s spine. “Why so tense?” “Oh! Uh—nothing,” Casey stammered, fumbling to hide her phone screen as she turned to face Alex. Her cheeks burned under Alex’s curious gaze. Alex tilted her head, her brows knitting in concern. “Casey, what’s going on?”

Before Casey could stammer out another excuse, her phone betrayed her, blaring the chirpy voice of a DIY tutorial: “And with just a little patience and glue, your mug will look as good as new!”

Alex blinked. Casey froze.

Casey groaned, burying her face in her hands. “Okay, okay. Don’t laugh. I broke your mug this morning—your lawyer mug. I was trying to replace it, but I couldn’t find the same one, so… I thought I’d make one. But the fonts don’t match, and it’ll take forever to ship, and—” Alex cut her off with a soft laugh. “Casey, stop. It’s okay.” “No, it’s not! It’s your favorite mug,” Casey insisted, gesturing helplessly at the screen.

“Sweetheart,” Alex said, pulling Casey’s hands away from her face. “It’s just a mug. I only kept using it because you poured my coffee into it every morning. It wasn’t the mug I cared about—it was you. And the coffee. Together.” Casey blinked, momentarily stunned. “So… you’re not sad?” “Not even a little,” Alex assured her, her eyes sparkling with affection. She leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Casey’s lips. “Although, watching you get this worked up over it? That’s pretty adorable.”

Casey chuckled. “You’re impossible.” “I’m also touched,” Alex said, smirking. “Though, if you’re designing a new one, I could use a sassier slogan. Maybe something like, ‘I object to mornings without coffee.’” Casey snorted. “Noted. I’ll put it on the list.”

Hi could you show how you make your sims please

Hi,

First, Sim making is a very personal process for every player. What I find interesting might be different for you.

Second, My thought process for when I go to make sims involves what kind of person am I making. I take a lot of inspiration from people I see on Pinterest, characters/archetypes in stories I enjoy, strangers while i do errands, and people in my personal life. (Sometimes I wanna make someone cute/awkward. Sometimes I wanna make a sassy man with a boob window. Possibilities are endless) I think a lot about what features would describe this person which later reflects how i dress them and assign them their traits. I try to get out of the YA pipeline of making sims and try to explore and experiment with the other age groups.

Below I go further into how I do this:

First, I pick a base sim for the direction I want to go towards. This could be an EA sim or one of my own.

I take all their makeup off/facial hair and start fresh. I use these presets and pick a features I would find interesting to get an idea of what I'm picturing. Using custom sliders, I modify what I want to adjust and their personality starts coming out to me more as I do this.

As I get a good base, I go start adding hair/facial hair/tattoos and start playing around with what looks good on them and might make adjustments after that + adding make-up features

Then I choose clothing and traits based off what I’ve created so far and alot of this is prone to changing as I "create a sim". I don’t restrict myself and just go with the flow. Also, I save multiple versions of my sims because TS3 crashes can occur and I don’t wanna lose my progress.

That's basically it. This was a quick tutorial of how I go about it. You might go more or less than what I do but like I said, everyone's process and style is different. This is just how I tackle it.

I'm actually working on a "How I Made Traitor Inquisitorius" video! It won't be a direct tutorial for the UUU camera mod, but I'll showcase the different features (freecam, custom animation triggers, etc) and how I used them in TI3.

The Pose Editor tool is more for photos, and probably deserves its own breakdown. I found this UUU mod tutorial with FFVII: Rebirth that looks similar to my process in Jedi Survivor, so that's a good place to start.

It's technical! It looks complicated! But Otis_Inf (the creator of the mod) has thorough documentation that comes with his Patreon access, along with a member-only Discord server and every future update of UUU4, UUU5, and game-specific camera tools. It's about $6 USD a month and you can start or end your membership whenever.

Could the cats make little toys? Like making plushies out of plants or figurines out of rocks and sap or something?

70% of the toys they make are weaved or whittled. I actually made a small scene in the outline (which HOPEFULLY, i keep saying this, should be out Soon TM) of Darkstar's Commandment where she creates a wicker ball as a gift for Reedshine

^^^ These are willow balls! If you have access to willow trees, you can make these really easily. For Clan cats, it's a sign that you're a really good weaver, and making these is a big favor because they're naturally quite brittle.

These are the basis of the famous "mossball." Pure moss doesn't keep its shape if you kick it around; a wicker skeleton is stuffed and covered with moss so it doesn't hurt if it bonks you in the face. Usually, these are just kept in a pile somewhere any anyone can go grab and use one for games.

You can customize a ball for a specific person by sourcing some leather or linen, and then sewing it around the skeleton. WindClan has the market cornered on this sort of thing because of how many rabbits they hunt, but for RiverClan, SkyClan, and ShadowClan, pelts and flax are pretty valuable and not typically wasted on crafting good mossballs.

(SkyClan in particular is more likely to just trade kittypets for their excess toys.)

Even the best Clan cat artisans only whittle the sorts of figurines we might associate with small children. They're sharp-edged, simple, and look a lot like these;

They don't have "polish" figured out yet, so nothing they make looks "smooth." Some cat's going to figure out that they can rub the edges against the nearby exposed sandstone, but I'd leave that for a bit of a "genius" like Dustpelt or his mentor One-Eye to figure out.

They can also be made out of clay, but that's more common in RiverClan and WindClan where wood is scarce.

Figurines are often directly commissioned by deputies and senior warriors for use in strategizing, ESPECIALLY in WindClan where they have a history of needing to "visualize" the various parts of their open moor in battle plans. They can be simple toys, but these can get pretty elaborate as it's seen as a bit of a status symbol if the deputy's "pawn" of you is fancy.

Basically, it means you're important enough to be frequently included in battle plans, so much that YOUR pawn is customized. These will often be buried with the warrior, or passed down to their living descendants.

Figurines show up a lot in "channeling." The illegal, direct method of summoning the dead by bypassing StarClan. They aren't "consumed" by the ritual like more organic tokens, so someone who does a ton of channeling of a specific spirit will often end up crafting one of these.

There's various other toys too, but they're generally not soft or stuffed. Clan cats don't have "plushies," since they require a LOT of textiles and sewing which they can't experiment freely with.

And to close out;

Glue is made from animal hide, and is another one of those "high-quality" materials mostly used by artisans and patrol heads.

Sap's not a great adhesive, but works fine for kittens just having fun.

Whittling, weaving, and molding are the skills usually used to make toys.

Yes, they make toys, and they love to play with them.

Most "crafts" Clan cats make are communally owned, personal belongings are usually very special.

Dirt and oil - Quinn Hughes

Summary: Quinn would like to consider himself a gentleman, raised by THE Ellen and all, but when he finds himself in need one the side of the road, he can’t help but be surprised when his Knight in shining armor is a 5’2 girl named Daisy

Note: just a short one today, this was also written fast as I spent my morning at the hospital waiting on my grandma to be okay. She fine now but this helped me not lose my mind. So please give this short fix some love and maybe when everything is better I’ll make a cute part two.

“Shit this is not happening right now.” All Quinn wanted was to go to the grocery store in peace, but of course his front left tire was flat. Now his father has taught him many lessons in life, but changing a tire was not one of them.

As the blinking lights of his hazards went off, Quinn sat on his phone hoping to find a YouTube tutorial on how to change a tire. He was way too embarrassed to call one of his teammates for help. About 15 minutes later, Quinn had learned absolutely nothing off the internet and was currently debating on calling a tow truck.

That was until a school bus yellow jeep pulled up right behind him on the side of the road. Quinn expected another man to exit the vehicle, but to his surprise a short woman with black curly hair and more tattoos than he can count exits the front seat.

“Hey there big guy looks like you can use some help?” The girl walks over to Quinn with her tool box in hand, “my name’s Daisy and I think I can be of assistance, so tell me what’s your problem?”

“Oh I just got a flat tire,” Quickly Quinn turns off his phone and faces the girl next to him, “I don’t want to inconvenience you so I’ll just call the tow truck company.”

“It’s seriously no biggie,” Her button nose cringes from the cold breeze, but her perfect customer service smile doesn’t falter, “I was just heading in to work.”

“Oh then I would hate you to get in trouble with your boss,” Daisy giggles at Quinn comment. The boy nearly lost his mind at the juxtaposition of her soft giggle and her tough outward appearance.

“Oh I doubt my boss would mind, but let me make sure,” Daisy looks into Quinn’s driver side mirror, “Hey Daisy is it okay if I’m late to work cause I’m helping this poor boy is distress? She said it’s fine as long as the poor boy in distress tells me his name, you know for insurance reasons.”

“I totally forgot, I’m Quinn,” Daisy holds out her hand as Quinn introduces himself.

“Well Quinn, let’s change that tire for yah,” Daisy directs Quinn out of his car, and he opts to stand to the side of her as she worked on his tire.

“So if you don’t mind me asking, how did you get into working on cars?” Quinn attempts to make small talk.

“My paps owned the shop up the street and since he was a single parent, I had to spend a lot of time at the shop,” Daisy works on the tire with ease, “I learned how to change a car tire before I could even drive.”

“Woah I’m impressed,” As soon as the words left his mouth, he realized how bad that sounded, “I mean I’m not impressed that you can do it, I mean I’m impressed that you learned from a young age.”

“It was just another life skill you know,” Not moving her attention from the tire, Daisy continues the conversation with Quinn, “just like learning how to ride a bike. When you grow up around cars, it’s second nature.”

“You know I understand that,” For some reason, Quinn feels comfortable around Daisy, and he can feel himself opening up to her, “I love what I do and all so I have no complaints, but Hockey has become second nature to me since I grew up around it.”

“Hockey huh?” For a moment, Daisy looks towards Quinn, and he can’t put his finger on it, but something about the tiny spot of grease on her face causes him to admire her more, “You look to delicate to play such a violent sport.”

“Looks can be very deceiving,” The two share a laugh before Daisy goes back to working on the car. They make some more small talk until the car is done.

“That spare should hold you for a little, but I recommend stopping by the shop so we can get you a fresh set.” Daisy pats the side of the car like a dad would.

“Thank you so much,” Daisy just shakes her head insisting it was no problem, “Well tell your boss I’m thankful that she let you come to work late to help little ol’ me and if there’s anything I can do to show my appreciation just let me know.”

“Well you didn’t hear this from me, but the boss loves the coffee shop next to the shop,” She walks over to her own car while walking away from Quinn, but before entering she shouts over to him, “maybe when you get your new tires you can ask her to a coffee date?”

Before Quinn could respond, Daisy is already back in her car setting off back onto the road. When Quinn got back into his car he notices a business car on the front seat.

I have a choom who’s been searching around for Goro’s extended cyberware, they mentioned that you use it, we’ve been looking around for it but unable to find it. so I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask if you might point us to the right direction?

Hey there! 💙

The cyberware appearance I use for Goro is actually something I made myself--If I can ever get around to finishing the rest of the appearances I made for him for photomode, it's something I'd like to release one day, but at the moment, it's private just because it's very unfinished.

However! Anyone can make their own custom Goro using the Appearance Creator Mod:

1) Spawn Goro in either photomode (how I'm doing it for this guide) or using AMM. I recommend starting with the Ronin Shirt appearance, but the same principle applies to his other canon appearances, too.

2) Open up ACM and get the camera centered over him so his name appearances in the top field. This can be a little finicky sometimes, so I definitely recommend checking the Lock Target option to maintain the selection.

3) Since the shoulder cyberware won't be visible with his shirt on, he doesn't need that mesh anymore. 😏 Scroll down in the ACM box until you see the t1_002_ma_shirt__takemura5285 fields.

4) Now click on the Select From List button next to the Mesh Path field.

This will open up another menu that contains categories for all the available wearable vanilla items:

5) In the Search field in the Mesh List menu, type in "shoulder" and then click on the arrow next to Body to show the items under that section. Click on t0_000_ma_base__cyberware_shoulderpads.mesh and viola! His shirt is now replaced with the full cyberware.

6) He's kind of missing his, uh, everything after this change, so now we need to give him his body back. Go back to the main ACM menu (where you went for Step 3) and scroll down to the end of the list until you see the t0_000_ma_base__takemura3048 fields.

This mesh contains his body, but his torso (and legs, but we don't need to do anything with those for now) are hidden when his shirt is on to minimize clipping. To unhide them, we'll need to turn those specific chunks back on by clicking on the Chunk Mask button.

7) In the Chunk Mask menu that pops up, you'll notice that most of the boxes are unchecked--We need to check the ones that correspond to his torso and arms.

(I don't know if there's a specific method to how each body part is labeled, but if you experiment with other appearances, you can toggle these to heart's desire to find combinations that work for you.)

8) Now if you want to save this appearance for later use, you can go back to the main ACM menu and scroll all the way up to the top to the Export fields. Enter your name in the Modder Tag field and whatever you want to name the appearance in the Custom Appearance Name field.

9) To access that appearance again, you just have to select Takemura in AMM and it should show up under the appearances list. You can see the ACM Tutorial appearance here:

And you can use this basic principle to make all sorts of appearances for him!

For instance, if you wanted to put him in boxers with this appearance, just go to the l1_002_ma_pants__takemura7861 field and search for "boxers." The default color of these boxers is purple, which I don't really think is his style, so I put black in the Mesh Appearance field* to activate that look. He doesn't need his belt so I just clicked the Toggle button under the i1_001_ma_belt_takemura7808 fields to turn it off. And of course, don't forget to turn on his legs with the Chunk Mask.

*Finding all of the available appearances for an item does require Wolvenkit, which might be a little intimidating if you're new to modding, but a lot of times you can make educated guesses to see if a color or pattern (like "arasaka" and "valentino" often have appearances) is available.
