On "Uncatchable" Pokemon
No matter your views on battle culture, and particularly trainer culture, it would be outright ignorant to say that it hasn't improved vastly over the past couple decades. From wild captures being significantly less common and more regulated overall to the death of the "gotta catch 'em all" mentality in most regions, trainer culture has globally become more and more conscious to the needs of the pokemon over the benefits to the human trainer. However, there is one aspect of trainer culture that, the niche, has remained persistent and problematic throughout years and years of improvement in nearly every other department. This aspect is the concept of "Uncatchable" pokemon.
Now, to clarify, when I refer to "Uncatchable pokemon", I'm not referring to pokemon of legend status, mythic status, extrauniversal pokemon (commonly referred to as Ultra Beasts), or the Paradox pokemon generated by Professor Sada and Professor Turo's experimentation. These pokemon, though extremely powerful with capture heavily regulated by law, do not fall under the trainer-defined category of "Uncatchable". An "Uncatchable" pokemon is one that cannot be captured or otherwise raised independently. More often than not, this is because the Pokemon in question has a parasitic, symbiotic, or parent-child relationship with another Pokemon that would make it unhealthy or even fatal to force independence.
Two pokemon that fall into the latter category, and are often unfairly targeted by poachers and irresponsible trainers, are the infant forms of Kangaskhan and Rellor. Particularly, these pokemon are often targeted by competitive trainers participating in what are known as "little cup" tournaments—often unofficial tournaments where the primary rule is that only very young, low-level, first-stage pokemon may be used. Though these tournaments do have positive aspects, namely their ability to allow beginner trainers to get a foothold in concepts of battle strategy without feeling intimidated, like all aspects of competitive battling, there are a large subset of trainers who are simply in it to win it all costs with no regard to the pokemon that they use.
Baby Kangaskhan is viewed as a potential meta-changer due to the sheer power of its adult form. However, all known instances of separation between mother and child Kangaskhan have led to severe drops in quality of life for the baby that make it impossible for this pokemon to be a viable battler. The only instance in which a baby Kangaskhan can battle healthily is alongside and through the mega evolution of its parent, and ethics of this practice are hotly debated as there are several cases in which the mother Kangaskhan shows the stress at the side of its child fighting. Though these cases may be chalked up to personality differences between different Kangaskhan, the same cannot be said for separation cases.
Nearly 100% of wild separation cases are fatal, with the sparse few survivors living much shorter and unhealthier lives than their properly raised counterparts. With human intervention, the fatality rate goes down, but the baby Kangaskhan still exhibit symptoms of PTSD, as well as severe mental and physical developmental disorders that leave it essentially stuck in a child-like state for its entire life. Even with human intervention, the separated baby will never learn how to battle, and all moves learned will be ineffective. Many separated babies do not even attempt to battle, perpetually expecting their mother to guard them even though she's gone. Physically, even if these babies make it to adulthood, there will be much more frail and susceptible to illness than their parented counterparts. They will also never develop their adult scales, leaving them more prone to accidental injury and infection. The theories on why this occurs range from the baby having a latent psychic connection to the mother to maternal connection simply being a requirement for healthy development in this particular species, but regardless of what the truth is, all separation cases are harmful to the baby, and throughout the rntire history of training as a sport, no progress has been made in changing this. It is hotly debated whether or not it is ethical to raise a separated baby Kangaskhan to adulthood as a result.
Infant Rellor is even worse. Though Rellor itself is currently viable by most little cup standards, it is also disqualified in many unofficial tournaments due to the existence of infant Rellor and the insistence that, since it is such a vastly different form, Rellor as an independent pokemon is an evolution and cannot qualify. However, this is an entirely unfair and harmful assessment to make, as this infant form cannot exist separately from the parent Rabsca, or even the dung ball it exists within. If the infant Rellor is broken out of this dung ball too early in development, it will die in 95% of cases. The sparse few recorded survival cases have only occurred as result of two factors: a Rabsca (not necessarily the original parent) quickly forming a new dung ball around the infant, and human intervention. Even with these factors at play, survival is still dependent on the stage of development of the infant, any injuries sustained during the removal from the dung ball, and the speed at which it is transported either back into a dung ball or into an artificial gestation tank. Infants broken out of their done ball early also tend to exhibit higher rates of developmental disorders, physical disabilities, and neurological disorders. Universally, their ability to manipulate psychic energy is severely impaired, and many do not exhibit the ability to evolve into Rabsca.
Shellder is a different story. It is a commonly known fact that Shellder experiences drastic physiological changes after clamping onto a host Slowpoke—changes drastic enough to be considered an evolution by some. In certain trainer circles, this debated evolution is known as "Turban", both in reference to the shells of some non-pokemon mollusks as well as the headwear of the same name. With the form-altering venom produced by these pokemon as well as the sharp teeth and powerful jaws, it's been theorized that this form of Shellder may have a water/poison typing and be able to battle if selectively bred and raised to do so.
Unfortunately for the Shellder and Slowpoke evolutions involved in this debate, separation of a Shellder and Slowpoke after evolution is universally detrimental. The Shellder itself will always die unless it is reattached to another Slowpoke, and will be in severe distress the entire time it is detached. It cannot reattach itself due to its body losing the ability to move, and it will not listen to orders from its trainer, blindly biting the air until a new Slowpoke is found. If it is reattached within a few days, it will more than likely survive, but it will produce higher amounts of venom and exert a notably higher bite force in order to ensure it does not get detached again. This often leads to higher levels of intelligence in the Slowpoke evolution, but also higher levels of aggression and resentment towards other living species, particularly the species that separated it. One case documented a Slowking resulting from a detached Shellder that wiped out an entire seaside town in rage-fueled psychic storm. Though it was eventually captured and sent off to a sanctuary, it never fully regained trust in humans.
Comparatively, the Slowpoke experiencing detachment suffers a much harsher fate. There is a persistent belief that Slowbro will harmlessly devolve back into Slowpoke if separated. Though it will eventually devolve—being the only pokemon known to do so—this process is highly stressful to the Slowbro and may result in death. This is due to withdrawals from the Shellder venom as well as neurological and physiological decay. The symptoms can be as mild as flu-like symptoms such as headaches and nausea to as severe as heart palpitations and seizures. It will also lose the ability to walk in a bipedal manner, and will need to re-learn how to fish using its tail.
Slowking separation is almost always fatal for the Slowking. Unlike Slowbro, it is incapable of devolution due to the Shellder venom being a requirement for proper neurological function, and the Shellder is fused to the skull, causing grievous bodily harm once removed. Galarian Slowking have far higher rates of immediate fatality than Kantonian Slowking, but both pokemon will suffer a drastic drop in quality of life after the separation event. Like separated Kangaskhan, it is widely considered unethical to keep a Slowking alive post-separation as it will be unable to maintain a humane quality of life. It will be unable to communicate its needs, unable to eat or drink without assistance, unable to groom itself, incapable of locomotion beyond a flailing crawl, suffer frequent seizures, and be at a high risk of meningitis among many other complications. Though some pokemon rights activists insist that a separated Slowking can be given a new Shellder or even kept alive without one and still live a happy life, these claims are unfounded in veterinary medicine, and the damage caused by a separation event is largely irreversible.
In conclusion, for the health of these pokemon, we need to demystify the concept of "Uncatchable" pokemon. You may have noticed me using quotation marks around the word "Uncatchable" for the duration of this essay. This is because I firmly believe we should not be using this term, as it generates a sense of challenge for a community notorious for enjoying insurmountable challenges. I propose we push to change the terminology to "unethical pokemon" in order to dispell any sense of challenge or mystique. These pokemon are not physically uncatchable. They are simply doomed to suffer if not kept in their pair bond. For trainer culture to move past this stopping block, this is a fact that must be acknowledged.

hi i wanna talk about my favorite fairytale
it has many names and many different versions with different endings like most fairytales so imma be talking about the most popular versions
but one thing these all have in common is the main character is a winter form deerling
ill be using bullet points/cliff notes for this to just make it easier on me kshdfksjdhfk
The Original Fairytale
A Winter Form Deerling is frolicking through her winter wonderland before coming across three Lycanroc and decides to eavesdrops on the three.
The Midday Lycanroc says it most enjoys eating Summer Form Deerling and Sawsbuck, the Midnight Lycanroc says it most enjoys Spring Forms, and the Dusk Lycanroc most enjoys Autumn Forms.
The three canines then plan to go through each of the Seasonal Forests so each of them can hunt for their favorite meal.
Winter panics and decides that she must go warn these herds of Deerling and Sawsbuck of the upcoming danger.
She runs off into the Spring Forest and warns the herd there, getting them to leave right before the Lycanroc arrive and then the Summer Forest with a bit more difficulty.
The Autumn Forest herd was more difficult, not wanting to flee their home. So, instead the herd decided that with this warning they will instead fight the Lycanrocs in which Winter joined them.
Due to the warning the herd had received they managed to not have any casualties and chased of the canines and Winter ended up evolving into a Sawsbuck while standing over the Lycanroc in a rather cool as fuck scene in my opinion before the canines run off.
Winter then leaves the herd and arrives on a hill that acts as the connecting middle point of each of the Seasonal Forests with an incredibly tall tree that reaches so far into the sky that it could touch the sun and on each side is one of the seasons.
While there the Lycanroc show up, skinny and exhausted with hunger. Winter, upon seeing the suffering canines, comes to realize that while she saved others she made others suffer. A Trolley Problem. Save the many or save the few.
She had already saved the many. But maybe she could save the few. She was no longer a tiny deerling. She was now something that could fill the bellies of three hungry predators.
She lets them eat her.
And that's how the story ends.
Other Versions
Kalosian Version(s) -
Winter, when she dies, becomes Xerneas.
Theres also a few versions where she has a Vullaby/Mandibuzz companion that becomes Yveltal and in some versions the Lycanrocs join together and become Zygarde
"Child-friendly Version(s)" -
Instead of three Lycanroc its a Houndoom, Mightyena, and a Midnight Lycanroc who, instead of just being hungry Pokemon, are malicious creatures that want to take over the Seasonal Forest. Winter does not die in the end and instead "fixes" the hungry canines with the power of friendship and now the canines only eat berries.
Theres also a version in which Winter still dies but instead of staying dead or becoming Xerneas, Xerneas instead appears and brings her back to life.
hehehe sorry i really like this fairytale <3333 theres also a lot of other really cool versions but my brain is blanking right now but ough ough ough its so cool guys i love fairytales guys

Roll passed away tonight. I'm devastated. I wasn't even awake for it. The surgery took so long, i must have passed out. The doctors say the surgery was a success, as in: they did what they had planned to, and it seemed to be working, even. But it was just too late. His body was too dehydrated and couldn't get hydration going while also dealing with the anaesthesia. He just didn't wake up anymore.
I'm so sorry Roll. I wish i could have given you a good life. I... just hope you enjoyed your last week. May you find a good place somewhere else.

[An audio has been uploaded onto the account... would you like to listen...?]
//Warning for a lot fowl language, violence, along with threats (both of violence and death) and brief mentions of past abuse.
[The sound of stomping is picked up first, heavy boots thudding against wooden tile as someone storms down whatever hallway they're in, the sound of a distant conversation can be heard as the voices quickly get louder and louder-
"and that's why I feel like Charizard should be a Dragon fire type!" It seems to be Lance?
"Fucking piece of shit, keeping him this long because of damn Dragon types I swear to fuck-" The other voice sounds like Silver, but there's something off, clearly Adam is messing with his voice to make him sound different.
Suddenly the sound of doors swinging open and slamming into walls is heard, and things go silent, until Lance speaks up.
"Ah! Silv- Silver! It's nice to see-" "Shut the fuck up fuck face."
The sound of stomping boots once again echos in the audio, a chair scraping against tile and someone's clothes rustling follows after "Adam what are you doing?!" Is said not even slightly above a whisper. "Getting you fucking out of here, what does it look like?!"
"Hey! What do you think you ar-" "You've been holding O-... Gold in this damn meeting for too long, we're leaving." "Can't he chose that for himself?"
There's a beat of silence, you can almost sense the anger and tension in the audio.
"What do you fucking think dickhead? We're leaving." "But you just got here! You need to at least-" "I'm not listening to you drone on about fucking Dragons, stay out of our shit."
As the foot steps start again, the sound of a pokeball is heard, followed quickly by the snarl of a draconic pokemon.
"Ah, bad boy Soaring Sky, don't block the door." Lance says flatly, loud thuds occur in a rapid pace, followed by a harsh sounding thump followed by a rough snort.
"Oh, bad bad boy... well, I can't move him, so I guess you'll have to stay!~ You wouldn't want to make my Dragonite mad now would you Silver...?~"
There's a deafening silence, a low growl can be heard... "Adam... Adam it's not worth it- please just- A- SILVER-!"
The sound of fast footsteps can be heard along with the very loud SMACK of skin against skin, the sound of a chair knocking over, and someone falling to the ground, Silver's voice giving way into something much darker and more violent, only the recording can seemingly pick up what is said next. "If you don't move your dumbass dragon in the next 5 seconds I will send all of my ice types to ice beam him and turn him into the most bloody ice statue you have ever seen, then do that to you NEXT, you fucking understand?!"
A brief moment of quiet follows, the sound of the Dragonite breaks through it as it starts coming closer.
"You better get off me Silver, we don't want you to get a matching scar on your other shoulder now do- HMPF?!"
"You better shut your damn mouth before I follow through with my threat you abusive prick."
There's more silence from the two of them, the Dragonite stomps over faster, growl picking up in intensity before what sounds like a low Pyroar growl comes from... what seems like Silver's body, it rumbles and vibrates lowly in a threat of pure rage.
... The Dragonite shuts up.
"... We're fucking leaving."
The audio ends]

I've been working throughout the day to get Hoenn evacuated and let me just tell you something point-blank:
The shadow sky has claimed lives. It will claim yours if you are not careful. Do not be a hero if you're not equipped to be one.
I've seen flocks of Swablu drop from the sky. There's a wild Zangoose in here that's half-burnt alive. Flesh and bone adrift in the craters. It ate through a child. I watched him breathe his last breath. The screams...
Is this what you wanted?

I live under a rock and didn't even know about the acid rain thing in other regions until now.
(Ooc: summary of what I missed? Please?)
Hold onto you hat anon - so much has happened.
It began with Team Snagem - @teamsnagemofficial - oozing out of the woodwork so to speak. They had pokeballs that could steal pokemon from others - and they were targeting Leauge Trainers to turn their ace pokemon into shadow pokemon.
This escalated over the course of a month - although recruitment was likely happening long before. Myself and a few other trainers were working to get to the bottom of it. A few notable ones are @leaguetraining, @skygodtraumabond, @aura-acolyte , @the-koiking-pond , @prof-hemp420 , @teamgamble and @prestigepreceptcenterpregym. I would reccomend scrolling through the tags #team snagem shadow sky #team snagem and #team snagem finale.
In the end it was revealed that @ariadosanon was the leader of Snagem- and had kidnapped Ho Oh to turn it into XD002. There was a lot of scrambling on our end to try and find Ho Oh (at this point we didn't know that Victoria was responsible) but in the end she posted an ultimatum, which you can read here. She then released "Shadow Sky"; an acid-like rain that melted people and pokemon and seems to have corrupted other into permenant new forms? We are still working on understanding this new phenomena.
Either way this shadow rain was released twice. The first time was on Hoenn but the second... she had people vote over it and attacked the region with lower votes. That ended up being Sinnoh. Victoria herself even showed up and almost killed Ray and myself at the Sky Pillar. People who helped with the recovery effort included @professor-amaryllis , @iheartnimbassacity , @alexanders-pokemon-adventure , @meganiums-petals-pokemon-shelter , @caoimhe-from-hoenn and many others, who I cannot thank enough.
In the end Victoria didn't receive her demands and attacked the Johto/Kanto Leauge as a show of strength. Myself and a group of trainers confronted her and through a combination of brute strength and quick thinking we managed to liberate Ho Oh and arrest Victoria. For posts related to that see #shadow sky finale.
... We lost some pokemon along the way and quite a few of us were badly injured. We are in the process of dealing with the aftermath - Victoria's transport ship crashed and she had escaped to somewhere, I am dealing with legal issues, Ray is ... affected... by their close call with death, Amy is being a wonderful support to all of us but really needs to take care of themselves... We are all adjusting to the new normal. (#shadow sky epilouge)
If you live in Hoenn or Sinnoh at the moment, don't drink the water from the tap. There are handouts of bottled water that will continue until soil and water quality improves. If you see any strangely aggressive pokemon, or pokemon with strange colorations please report them to your local Ranger Base.
(Ooc: This is a very basic summary, I highly reccomend scrolling through some of the blogs i mentioned and looking at the tags. This whole event was organized by @ariadosanon and they did a great job! I had a blast, and am gonna post a suprise when I get around to finishing it)

... This may be disturbing to some, as it relates to my connections with death, as well as a mention of acting upon being sick to the stomach. Sorry.
Something bizarre happened. I am, as you all may know, one who watches over the forces of life and death. Thus, I have seen plenty of both. I have gotten used to the sights, and additionally have never had an extreme reaction to them.
... I saw the corpse of a roserade today, and for the first time, I felt physically ill. There was nothing unique about how they passed. No particular injury on first glance. It was not even fresh. But I, for the first time, felt sick and vomited. I did not know I could do that. I do not know what was so different, but I just seemed to have felt strongly about this to a degree I could not control. This scares me.

Went out to look at a dead Donphan out by Cascarrafa. Tusks had been removed, so it's pretty clear someone's collecting some ivory - and they probably got a good hunk outta this one, that dead bitch was UP there in years.
Got a wild hariyama to help haul the body back to the base station. Honey and I spent the day reviewing the case, so I just got back to finally take a closer look. Looks like it was attacked, prooobably by a water type if I had to guess, based on the injuries. Which is actually great, if it had been poisoned we'd have a huge hunk of useless meat. At least this way Michael and Macaroon can go to town on it.
Did you know mightyena have a strong enough bite strength + stomach to chow down on the bones of their food? It's very cool to watch, makes a very satisfying crunching sound. Poochyena normally can too, but Macaroon still has really poor bite strength from whatever team calm did to her. But after watching Michael she's starting to get into chewing on the hide! I've even gotten her to play a real game of tug-o'-war with some of the trunk :') she's really starting to come out of her shell.
I know it's probably not an ideal "send-off" for the donphan but eh. That kinda thing always seems so hokey to me. At least this way the body is useful for living creatures, yanno?

Bitleaks File 01
[The only thing in this Post is a Video File]
[The Video starts with a Splash Screen as depicted below]
Tumblr media
[The Resolution changes to a 2:3 Aspect Ratio with 128x192 Pixels (standard Resolution for Xtransceiver and related Gadgets)]
[It appears to be a Headcam Video of somebody(Person A) walking through an abandoned Industrial Park]
[The Clouds are dark, Thunder can be heard, but no Rain is visible or audible on the Video]
[The Buildings are in a State of Disrepair and Pokémon like Grimer and Trubbish have found a new Home between the Trash and Industrial Waste.]
[Person A can be heard breathing through a Gas Mask. Their Breath: unsteady]
[Additionally 3 Pokémon are accompanying Person A
Scizor, right Pincer injured, keeping Pace with Person A but at a Distance of 6 Feet.
Mawile, Situated in a Baby Carrier worn by Person A, Mouth is covered by a small Gas Mask, Maw is not covered.
Vikavolt, flying around in erratic Patterns, it keeps alternating between hovering in Place and quickly Flying to a new Hover Place, the Low Bass of it's wings is heard throughout the Video]
[Person A begins talking:"Where the fuck is Bit?"]
[they frantically look around, bright blue Hair can bee seen at the Edges of the Cameras vision.]
["Bit did you digitize yourself again? are you for real? i thought you wanted to go here?"]
[A small Sprite of a Porygon2 appears on the Video, it is superimposed on top of it. at first it does what can best be described as a Laugh, and then a little Dance.]
[Person A: "You are the worst. A+ Coward Behaviour. Shitass."]
[The Porygon seems to take delight in being verbally abused and continues the Dance]
[The Group reaches an abandoned Power Plan]
[upon realizing that Person A lacks the Strength to open the Door, they order the Scizor to Bullet Punch the Door open.]
[The Inside of the Entrance Hall is filled with a group of sleeping Grimer, with a few Gestures Person A commands their Pokémon to stay silent and stealthy, Vikavolt stops flying and starts crawling on the Floor.]
[Person A purposefully and stealthily approaches an Industrial Size Door in the Back. the Electricity is still on. Person A presses a Button. it opens the Path into a large Cooling Tower, about 150 Feet in Diameter.]
[Person A looks behind them to make sure that the Grimer are still asleep.]
[There is a Spiral Staircase constructed at the inner Diameter of the Tower, Person A and their Group start descending]
[Through the Bad Quality of the Video it is quite unclear what lies at the Bottom, it Flashes both orange and green, and is illuminating something large and yellow.]
[Person A: "no way, why is that there? i thought this was gonna be easy. Fuck fuck fuck. Schkrinkel i probably need you for this."]
[Mawile is removed from the Baby Carrier]
[Person A: "make sure to bite as hard as you can. Go for the Head. i don't want this to turn into a Battle.]
[Person A points towards the Large Yellow Thing, at this point it is clear that it is a Pokémon, and it is sleeping in Front of a Machine made of Glass, something in there is Blinking in orange and green.]
[The Mawile slowly approaches the large Yellow Pokémon, and prepares to bite with it's Maw. It Bites down hard, the Effort is visible in its Body Tension.]
[A loud Cry is Heard, and the Pokémon Raises it's Head, It's Zapdos. The Mawile only injured it's right Wing.]
[Person A: "I told you to go for it's head, you Fuck!"]
[The Zapdos is fully awake now and starts attacking Mawile, at first it tries to Peck at it, the tiny Mawile is not prepared for this but manages to block a few hits with it's Maw.]
[Person A: "Sense, go defend your friend. kill that fucking Thing."]
[Scizor attacks the Zapdos with a Bullet Punch to the Back]
[Zapdos realizes it won't win on the Ground and tries to Fly, but it's injured Wing prevents it from starting a proper Flight, instead it clings it's Talons into the inner Wall of the Tower and half-flies half-climbs.]
[The Intensity of the Battle has awoken the Grimer from the Hall above and they start pouring into the Cooling Tower.]
[Person A: " Okay, change of Plan, Schkrinkle you go after the Grimer, cover for Sense. Sense you need to use your Flash cannon to get that Bird down. (tone goes sarcastic) and if only i had a pokémon who knew Ice Beam, that would be helpful wouldn't it? BIT?" (Bit is sleeping on the Screen)]
[The Pokémon comply, the Mawile Iron Heads the Grimer away, while Scizor starts shooting it's Flash Cannon. Scizor doesn't even Aim, it looks to the Ground and raises it's left Pincer, Flash after Flash is released from it.]
[Person A takes cover behind Rubble.]
[Zapdos is currently locked in half-Flight Battle with Vikavolt. They are exchanging Zap Cannons, none of them take a lot of Damage and they keep charging the other one up.]
[Zapdos is eventually hit by the Flash Cannon of Scizor, and crashes into the Machine in the Middle of the Tower, a loud Crash and an Explosion is heard.]
[After a few Seconds Person A emerges from their Cover behind the Rubble. They begin searching for their Pokémon. Glass shards are everywhere.]
[The Grimer have been badly affected by the Explosion, many are only moments away from Fainting. Most have Glass Shards sticking out of them.]
[The First Pokémon they find is Vikavolt who descends from the Top of the Tower, it seems proud of what it did.]
[Scizor was blasted to the Wall by the Explosion, however it quickly stands up and acts like nothing has happened.]
[Together they start searching for Mawile, and it seems that it has disappeared.]
[Person A: "Be quiet! I'm hearing something." they give a hand sign to be quiet.]
[a loud slimy chewing Sound can be heard.]
[Person A approaches a large Pile of Rubble and finds Mawile behind there, no longer wearing it's Gas Mask. It has an Expression of pure hate. It is chewing on the Glass Shard covered Corpse of a Grimer]
[Person A: "Stop, what are you doing!? Stop! Bad Schkrinkel! You are disgusting!"]
[They run over trying to pry the Maw open, but it seems too late, it has already swallowed.]
[Mawiles face is full of Satisfaction, it is glad that it did this.]
[Person A: "i hate to do this, get back in the Ball, why did you eat that? you don't like center Visits do you?"]
[Mawile returns to the Ball with a pouty Mouth]
[Person A now looks over to the Machine, and the passed out Zapdos lying on top of it.]
[Person A: "Can you imagine... if i caught it. if i threw a Ball at it. I would own a Zapdos." *they retrieved a Ball from their Bag and are contemplating throwing it.* " Me the owner of a Legendary Bird... Laughable." *the ball is placed back into the Bag*]
[Person A approaches the Machine, they reach their gloved Hands inside to retrieve a small Part, it was the Source of the orange and green Blinking.]
[Person A(gleeful): "only two more... Bit can you believe it? We already have three."]
[The Feed Cuts on a closeup of the Machine Part]

is it true that ho-oh can bring back dead pokemon?
//(@prof-indigo)
Yeah, though there are some dependencies. If the pokemon is recently passed and still able to live with how their body is then it's a lot easier to do and takes less energy...
So he can't bring back a pokemon that's been dead for hundreds of years that's turned to dust. Something like with what happened to the legendary beasts would require brand new bodies to be made, while something like only drowning and washing up on shore would be easier. Now if Ho-oh can't get close enough to the pokemon, then he can use his chosen, me in this instance, to get to them instead... Kind of like a WiFi booster. I'd also need to make sure I have healing feathers with me do handle any damage that could kill the pokemon again. There is the possibility a force stronger than Ho-oh could prevent the pokemon from being brought back however, though that would most likely be from Arceus, Yveltal, or possibly Zygarde.

i know i only mentioned it yesterday but augh ive already caved im gonna ramble about deerling and sawsbuck!!!
so !!
deerling and sawsbuck are incredibly food motivated pkmn! especially deerling! deerling can be a lot more skittish than their evolution but once youve provided them food enough times then theyll warm up to you rather quickly!
most of sawsbuck and deerlings predators tend to be dog mon packs! lycanrocs, houndoom, mightyena, etc etc. its dangerous for a lone predator to go after these prey pkmn by themselves because the lead sawsbuck of the herd along with its followers can severely mess up a lone predator! so its best to hunt these prey pkmn in packs!
sawsbuck and deerling can be menaces to farmers though! walking all over their fields and eating their crops which is why a lot of farmers here in paldea keep lycanrocs as a way to deter the large herbivores.
sawsbuck and deerling have been know to eat meat before. thats it ive got nothing to add tot hat i just think its neat.
deerling do have antlers!! theyre just little numbs hidden underneath their flower so if you lift up the petals you will see them!!
sawsbuck antlers can come in all kinds of shapes and barks, my own sawsbucks antlers are specifically that of birch!
a sawsbuck and deerlings form doesnt always depend on the season! it can depend on the environment in which they live which is most noticeable by the sawsbuck and deerling of paldea! where year round you can find winter forms and summer forms at the same time! though when they leave these areas their forma do change, if a spring sawsbuck is taken to glaseado mountain then it will eventually become a winter form if there long enough!
a sawsbuck/deerling can also be artificially kept in a specific form! this is typically done for health reasons! my sawsbuck, bucky, suffers from overheating incredibly easily so he wears a medical version of a never-melt ice that chills his body which as a result keeps him as a winter form sawsbuck! and even with the extra fluff he still manages to stay cool enough due to the ice!
there are also cases of deerling/sawsbuck simply being stuck in a specific form and unable to change which can be due to a number of things! a mental block, trauma, lacking some sort of biological component, etc.
sawsbuck antlers, while being branches, also are bone at the base! the further up the antlers you go the less bone there is as the bone only goes on for a couple inches!
speaking of antlers, when a sawsbuck dies their antlers swiftly sprout flowers and then fall off like dead branches, dropping the flowers into the surrounding area which then cause more to sprout and creating “burial spot” for the sawsbuck! its a similar case for deerling but its just their head flower that falls off and begins the process of creating a small meadow!
so if you find a flower field and are where sawsbuck and deerling live then you may be able to find a skeleton among the flowers!
its a common practice among trainers to keep one of the flowers that came from the sawsbucks antlers as a way to remember them as the dying flower of a sawsbuck can live for an incredibly long time

....i can't want for this week to be over.
Your cafe is my sanctuary, Tix. And you are my saint.
OKEY SO if that okey with you im gonna crash in here for like an hour <3 <3 <3
Can I get a uhhh- do you have iced apple tea? Spike it with spicy berries and put a medium in a large cup, please. I have my own stuff to add in ^^ oh also do you have any red velvet cakes?
And also 5 spicy and sweet pokecups and one strawberry pokecup. Also a small bitter pokecup for this pidove here, I just kinda of carried him around in my hand for a little while and now he decided to stick around. I'm gonna gift him to my boyfriend, I'll show you the cool video of me wrestling it down with my bare hands <3
Actually, this week was hell but they have all been such good and behaved Pokemon; what Pokemon-safe stuff do you have? Might as well spoil them <3
Yinny! You're finally here! How was your trip? I read a few posts you made, are you alright? Tell me about your travels! Like how you subdued a scary Pidove with your own bare hands!
And of course you can have an iced apple tea. Do you have a preference for the berries? Cheri? Or maybe Occa or Shuca? You know i have it all.
so, uhm, let me repeat the food stuffs. Red Velvet cake for you, right? And for the Pokémon... 5 spicy-sweet, one strawberry and one... bitter pokecup? Do you think a Rabuta Berry is okay for that or does he dislike sour tastes? I'd have to check in the back for something else.
And other Pokémon safe food, we obviously have Poffins of all kinds, maybe not all berries right now, but a good assortment of all flavors. Uh, depending on the species, it should be fine for most to eat the cupcakes and muffins. Maybe not the ones with chocolate. The others usually only have berries because people like to buy them for the Pokémon. And a few have coffee in them, not every pokémon can eat that either.
I can get you the ingredients for all the other pastries though. Especially the vegan stuff should be fine for any omnivore or herbivore species, i generally use very few additives. And i'd have to disappoint you for any meaty treats for like, your liepard or so, I don't have anything non-veggie for sale. The only meat-stuff i have are for my guys like Rhubarb and Chocco. You could have some of that of course, but that's not exactly the "treat" kind of food, right? Well, thinking about it your Liepart would probably enjoy a frozen Patrat hehe.

"They kinda scare me a bit. Not because of the transformation, that doesn't bother me just..."
"I don't like hearing people wanting to hurt a pokemon like that... even if they won't it... it scares me."
"I've heard too many people saying that if they could they could eradicate Charizards... it scares me a lot..."
