Jason Todd Gala Meet Cute Headcanons
Tumblr media
— To be frank, Jason Todd hates galas but when Dick doesn't want to go alone or when he wants to support Bruce or Cass he'll be there. Family is Family.
— When he first sees you his jaw nearly drops because he's never seen anybody as stunning as you. As graceful as a swan, you glide across the stage with ethereal elegance. Each movement is a dance of precision and passion, your body a canvas painting a story of love and longing. Jason Tood was now indeed a lovesick boy.
— You've got the poor boy hooked, watching you like you're his last meal. Even Dick could see, that you caught Jason's eye. At the end of your performance, you took a bow and you looked right over at him and smiled.
— He wasn't sure if that had really been meant for him but that didn't stop him from blushing a bit. So he's nearly on the floor begging Bruce for your name or to at least introduce him and he agrees just so Jason would calm down.
— Bruce invites you to join the rest of the gala if you're interested, since his son was very fond of your performance, "Oh is he the one with the little white strip in his hair? he's quite cute isn't he?".
—Dick's grinning ear to ear, watching his brother stare at you from across the room, while guides you to one of the private bathrooms. He'd never seen Jason so whipped for a girl who he didn't even know.
— Once you finally finished changing, you found yourself drinking a glass of red wine, standing in the corner alone. You usually don't come to events like these but since you were personally invited by Bruce Wayne you saw no reason not to.
— When Jason spots you from across the room, he debates on waiting for Bruce to introduce the two of you but just says fuck it and goes for it.
— "I didn't know ballerinas, came to galas like these, there's not much fun doll," he asks putting his hand out for yours. You hesitate but place yours on top of his, allowing him to kiss the back of your hand. "Only when pretty boys like you request for us," you say giggling, and now for sure you're fucked. Jason Todd wasn't just cute, he was hot.
— He butters you up by asking your favorite composer, "Well I've never performed any of his music but I'm quite the fan of Vivaldi" you say while he leans against the wall next to you. He asks the questions and lets you do most of the talking since he'd prefer to listen to you. By the end of the night, there was nothing Jason didn't know about you but it seemed like you hadn't gotten to know him.
— He had spent the whole night flirting with you and buttering you up and you're not even surprised when he asks to walk you out, "Why not but only on one condition, you have to take me out on a date and let me get to know you this time" and Jason had no objections to that.
— Now you've got the Jason Todd following behind you, people are whispering and watching the two of you. How'd you manage to pull one of Bruce Wayne's sons, especially the standoffish one? You weren't even his girlfriend yet and people couldn't stop talking about you and exactly what Jason wanted, well at least before he made you his.

Oh my hey! Please, if you haven't already, please, could you do if you haven't please do favorite singer and song of the sdv bachelor/ettes
Oh, this is the first time I've posted an ask about a topic like this, so I hope I did it right. Thanks for the question, and have a great day! 🫰💕
_________________________________________
SDV bachelors:
Harvey's radio will always play Louis Daniel Armstrong or Ella Jane Fitzgerald because the doctor loves listening to jazz. If he wants something more energetic, Harvey will switch to the Latin music radio channel. He's sure to start dancing in the kitchen when Pete Rodríguez's "I Like It Like That" comes on. With music like that, cooking dinner becomes more interesting and fun.
It may sound pretty cliche, but Alex will definitely have a workout playlist with songs from the 80s rock and roll, pop rock and metal genres. Stan Bush ("Touch", "Fight for survive", "Never surrender"), Paul Engemann ("Push it to the limit, "The Eagle Lands"), Survivor ("Eye of Tiger"), Judas Priest ("All guns blazing", "The Sentinel") would be his favorites.
I'm sure Sebastian will be a fan of alternative rock (Nirvana - "Smell like teen spirit" and "Lithium"), emo-core (Taking back Sunday - "Cute without an "E") and electronic rock (almost all Celldweller albums, his favourite album is "Wish upon a Blackstar"). I also think that Sebby often likes to enjoy breakcore, not really remembering the specific artists and listening to whatever he likes. This is how I imagine Sebastian trying to explain to his mom what breakcore is (Warning: loud).
It's quite difficult with Sam because he's a real melomaniac. He listens to absolutely everything and almost all the time. Depending on his mood, he can listen to both heavy metal and pop music. However, the most frequently played bands in his music player are definitely the Beatles (his two favourite albums are "Help" and "Yellow submarine"), Coldplay ("Yellow") and Arctic Monkeys (the album"AM"). And also any popular song that gets stuck in his head (California girls we're unforgettable, daisy dukes bikini on top-).
Classics for Elliott! Our dear writer - and without masterpieces of classical music? Unthinkable! Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Grieg, Debussy - all either playing in his little radio on the table, or the writer himself sits down at his piano and plays music by famous composers. He also loves modern classical music, and sometimes light jazz.
Shane listens to rock and heavy metal like Metallica, Ramstein, AC/DC all the time and you won't change my mind (I'll fight for that headcanon). I like to think he just lies on his bed, turns on his music player and plays the loudest heavy rock you can imagine in his headphones. One of his favourite songs that he listens to all the time is "For whom the bell tolls" (Metallica).
SDV bachelorettes:
Actually, I always thought that Maru would like synthwave and retrowave genre. I don't know why, but it would be just her style to include a playlist with synthwave artists (all Home songs, especially "Resonance" and "Head first"). If this genre is a too calm and the young inventor wants something a bit more energetic, her choice would be Daft Punk (Around the world, around the woooooooooooooorld!) or Disclosure ("Grab her" and "Omen" are her favorite songs).
Abigail's choices are quite chaotic. One moment she can listen to dark electro (Owl vision - "Horus" and "Holy shit"), and the next moment the amethyst lover admires folk music and promises herself that she will also learn to play the flute (Percival Schuttenbach - almost all songs, but especially "Karanfilce" and "Lazare", as well as Sowulo - the whole album "Sol"). She is also a lover of video game soundtracks and dark ambient. As I said before, pretty chaotic music taste.
All the popular pop, dance-pop and R&B you can think of - that's what Haley's playlist is. Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Britney Spears.... Haley doesn't have a particular favourite song, she likes everything. In the evening she likes to listen to the same pop and dance music songs, but in slowed down version + reverb.
Emily just can't live without energetic dance music. She could probably compete with Sam for the title of Starview Valley's music lover. And the genres can be diverse: from electro-swing (Caravan Palace) to Latin music (don't play Kaoma - "Lambada" in front of her, otherwise she will drag you to dance), from RnB (Beyoncé) to disco (Bee Gees).
When classical music is played, Penny falls into a melancholic mood. She is particularly affected by Claude Debussy's cycle of six piano pieces "Children's Corner", and she loves to listen to the piano version and the orchestra version equally. Besides classics, the young teacher also likes to listen to Enya (she always sheds tears when she listens to "May it be" or "Aniron"). But Penny will shed real rivers of tears if she hears the soundtrack from Titanic (especially "Hymn to the Sea").
If you ask Leah about her favourite music, the artist will name you a few groups of indie music and alternative music. After all, those are her favourite genres. In her free time, she sometimes likes to relax listening to Slenderbodies (especially "Belong" and "Opal ocean"), or Glass Animals (she can listen to the whole "Zaba" album all day long and she won't get bored). Leah also loves listening to songs by the indie duo King of Convenience (especially "Mrs Cold").

More random fluff ideas:
Natsuki tells Yuri that he’s “totally into music” and then he proceeds to grab his favourite electric guitar and rip out AC/DC Highway To Hell
Yuri: 😳
Yuri: That… is not music
Yuri gets out his violin and plays “Winter” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
Natsuki: Dude, you’re literally not fuckin’ around, are you?
Natsuki plays a passage from Matthew Meyer’s Snow Globe from memory on his keyboard.

dCS Lina Range, Now Available In Silver!
Tumblr media
Hi All,
Just a quick post to share some exciting news from dCS!
The dCS Lina Network DAC, Master Clock and Headphone Amplifier are now available in dCS’s signature shade of silver, bringing listeners more choice and a striking new finish. This means you can now choose from a silver or black finish when purchasing Lina components. Their latest product series appeared at audio events around the world and received several awards for its design and performance, including a coveted EISA award, plus accolades from Tone Audio, Mono & Stereo, AV Forums and High Fidelity in Poland. It also received a 2023 Grand Prix from Stereo Sound magazine in Japan and the Lina Network DAC was named Stereo Sound’s No. 1 Best Buy DAC for 2023-2024.
Casework is milled to exacting standards from solid billets then painted to provide a smooth, durable and tactile finish. The painted finish on silver Lina components provides a near exact match with the anodised finish seen on silver Vivaldi, Rossini and Bartók components – making it the perfect option for listeners who wish to pair Lina equipment with other products from the dCS range. Listeners can now choose from one of two classic dCS finishes, selecting the look that best fits their tastes, home environment and existing equipment. It also caters to the growing number of people looking to combine Lina components with other dCS products in their system – for example, adding a Lina Master Clock to further enhance playback with the Bartók APEX DAC, or pairing a Lina Headphone Amplifier with a Rossini or Vivaldi APEX DAC or Player.
Please don't hesitate to contact HFL if you would like to arrange a demo or find out more 👍
Cheers,
Billy

( I ) First Glance at Her.
I go by the alias Rosaline Fox and my peers tend to call me Rosie, Aline, and Rose. Please do call me with any nickname you’re fond of, I appreciate any nicknames. The more, the merrier!
My MBTI is ENTJ or ESTP (gradually switches) and that’s all the information I have for my personality test result. Regarding my pronouns, I’d be delighted if you use feminine pronouns (such as she/her) when you address me.
Labeling my account as UNLABELED and MDNI, as I’m 2X years old and I might engage with NSFW content & much-much profanity in my account.
Tumblr media
( II ) Her Adorations
PHILOSOPHY (I wander around a lot in Reddit & Quora) especially discourses about them. My favorite philosopher is Nietzsche, along with his Thus Spake Zarathustra book.
An admirer of ART—especially Michaelangelo’s.
My MUSIC taste goes in a wide range; Lana Del Rey, The Neighbourhood, Cigarettes After Sex, Rosenfeld, and mostly Classical pieces of music such as Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Nicolò Paganini, Antonio Vivaldi, classic Opera songs.
GOTH culture and GREEK MYTHS. Vampires, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Erotes, Zeus’ unfathomable list of fuck buddies… I used to have them as my childhood hyperfixation and safe to say—that I still find joy in talking about them, but not to a serious extent.
Currently engaged in maternal parasocial relationship with Panda celebrities in China (especially He Hua and He Ye), Moo Daeng, and orher cute animals on the internet.
A girlgroup K-POP stan; Twice, AESPA, KIOF, IVE, And for disbanded group I stan Orange Caramel, I*ZONE, Miss-A, APINK.
FILMS my favorite genres are thriller and horror. I only watch asian dramas especially rom-com. I’m into DC universe, especially plot consisting Batman and Joker.
Top 3 Films
All Joker movies (couldn’t pick one), Brightburn, and Longlegs.
Top 3 Asian Dramas
Love and Leashes, The Penthouse, and Strangers from Hell.
Lunatic over Kim Minjeong and Lee Dongwook. ♥️
— GAMES
I’m disgustingly educated about the Sanrio universe and my favorite characters are My Melody, Retsuko, and Bratzmaru. A reasonable explanation, I play Hello Kitty Adventure.
FPS games that I have played; PUBG, PUBG-M, PB, CS, and Project Lazarus (on Roblox ;-) lol) made me obsessed with guns. My favorite one is the classic Avtomat Kalashnikova (AK). I’m also a big nerd over video games in general and have played many such as GTA (San Andreas, I-V), The Sims, Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc.
Tumblr media
( III ) Warning:
Strictly MDNI since I might engage in NSFW content and speak profanities in my daily life.
Homophobic DNI.

Modern AU of my fic and what kind of music would the fellowship listen to:
Besides listening to sea shanties, Ravonna would be a full-on metalhead, listening to bands like Slipknot, Korn, Slayer and all the nordic metal bands, like Amon Amarth.
Miraak would be an indie girl 100%. Mitski, Mt. Joy, lots of Hozier, Matt Maeson
I know this is predictable but Lucien would listen to classical music. Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Satie, Debussy, all that jazz
I feel like Inigo would be the guy who listens to everything and vibes with everybody
Rumarin would listen to the most obscure stuff. Like... bottom of the iceberg of music thing.
Marcurio loves his 70s music. He just listens to his 'All out 70s' playlist all the time, but he also vibes with Ravonna and they drag their boyfriends to metal concerts
Teldryn listens to dad rock, for sure. Ac/dc, Kiss, Scorpions, The Eagles
I'm really curious what genre of music would your ocs listen to @kiir-do-faal-rahhe @bougainvillea-and-saltwater and what would your Miraak listen to?🤔
If anyone wants to do this btw, please tag me, I wanna see 👀

Music Headcanons
-Octonauts-
Barnacles: It’s canon he listens to Nicki Minaj (imagining someone like Barnacles listening to songs like “Anaconda” is so strange XD), but I feel he also listens to Fin Argus, and at times, Poor Man’s Poison. Oh, and he probably listens to Megan Thee Stallion songs, just saying. He also enjoys the musical Little Shop of Horrors (the song “Feed Me (Git it!)”) Kwazzi: Sea Shanties, and maybe some of the songs made by Miracleofsound (on YouTube). I also feel like he’d listen to vocal covers of most viking songs, more specifically, covers and songs by Peyton Parrish. But, when they’re not listening to that, it’s likely songs by Disturbed and Starkid musicals.
Peso: Mainly Spanish songs that he had grown up with (listened to Despacito once and died inside). I would also say he listens to generic pop songs, maybe older Justin Bieber songs- not for the lyrics, just to listen to the background music. And he probably likes songs that have xylophone solos.
Shellington: The Crane Wives all the way (loves the instrumentals and their voices), he also enjoys bands like Gang of Youths, and creators like J. Maya, and Gareth Fernandez. But, he also enjoys songs from some musicals (including 1776; The New Musical [his favorite being “He Plays the Violin”]).
Dashi: Also listens to Nicki Minaj (mainly with Barnacles). She also listens to Lizzo (Truth Hurts and About Damn Time is some of her favorites), Adelle (solely because of the memes), and Cody Fry (she enjoys the orchestra compositions of most their songs). But they also enjoy songs from Adventure Time and Steven Universe.
Inkling: Classical all the way. He is a very novelty person, so I can see him being fond of Mozart, Beethoven, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (composer of Swan Lake), Bach, and Chopin.
Tweak: She loves heavy metal bands. She prefers Five Finger Death Punch, Korn, and Pantera. And maybe some other rock bands like AC/DC (Hell’s Bells, Back in Black, and Thunderstruck), Disturbed, and Skillet. She also likes older country songs (probably Josh Turner and Luke Bryan). Oh! And Taylor Swift.
Vegimals: They don’t have preferred bands, they like A cappella.
---
-Octo-Agents-
Calico Jack: Sea Shanties that he made up and sang to himself (literally forgets now that he can’t look them up because he made them).
Ranger Marsh: Country. Like along the lines of old country classics, but he also listens to Pantera, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, and AC/DC (and he had introduced Tweak to the bands when she was little). He enjoys Poor Man’s Poison (after Barnacles introduced the band to him).
Paani: He loves Minecraft Music (in the game and fan-made parodies/original songs). His favorite disc in-game is Otherside, his favorite Minecraft song artist is Captain Sparkles (though a close second would be SlamACow), his favorite song by Captain Sparkles is Take Back the Night. Oh- and he likes Animaniacs songs.
Ryla: Not a huge music fan, prefers to listen to natural ambience (rain, birds, and wind).
Min: Cavetown songs are some of her favorites, as well as mxmtoon. Softer songs with nice background music. She may also like The Crane Wives (she’ll listen to them when hanging out with Shellington).
Natquik: Classical. Songs that have vocal points distract him a lot, and he can’t really get much done. He enjoys songs from Beethoven, Debussy, and Vivaldi.
Tracker: Whatever is playing on the radio. They have no music taste whatsoever, but they have memorized various generic pop songs that are played on the radio.
Pearl: She likes songs from Disney Movies, and songs like: “Tamino” by Persephone. “Touch The Sky” from Disney’s Merida is her favorite (she relates to it a lot).
---
-Junior Agents-
Pinto: Cocomelon songs, Justin Bieber, and One Direction.
Koshi: She likes songs from PIxar and Disney (she prefers songs from Frozen). She also enjoys detective medleys (Detective Sisters and Shellington).
---
I know a lot of random bands/composers and I’m only now realizing it.

Some more headcanons of mine:
- The Galileo family (Alice, the mom, and her daughter, Judy) are both astronomers, and Alice is known for her work in NASA on developing lunar and Martian rovers, while Judy is known for her discovery of a new pulsar in the Milky Way. Both of them helped to finance expeditions on the moon and Mars to search for resources such as water in order to plan for future lunar and Martian expeditions.
- Eliot the Cat actually did some time for a DUI, but he turned his life around, and his friend Wordsworth the Parrot stayed crime-free. Wordsworth is now a real estate developer, while Eliot got a degree in structural engineering and is now the CEO of his own construction company.
- Monet the Zebra, like Vincent, is a painter, but he also works as a landscaper to pay the bills.
- Antonio the Duck (aka Vivaldi) is a French horn player in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and he is also one of the most respected members.
- Stella the Cat and her girlfriend Patricia (the squirrel in Baby's Favorite Places) live together in an apartment in Washington DC. Stella works as a professor at Gallaudet University (she found inspiration from Marlee Matlin's work on Baby Einstein), where she teaches English literature, and Patricia is a successful indie game developer.
- Miles the Raccoon had a hard time bonding with his father, who struggled with his coming out as bi, but they both eventually founded their own, somewhat successful mechanic shop (Timothy and Son's Auto Repair) in town through teamwork and his father's acceptance of his identity.
- Lastly, Hugo the Hippo started as a successful conductor, but he eventually fell into depression after a budget cut forced the symphony orchestra to disband. However, he went back to form his own orchestra with the former members of the last one, as well as newer members, and learned to cope with his seasonal bouts of depression in a healthy manner. He personally feels rejuvenated when working with his orchestra. As a side hustle, he teaches a master class in conducting and orchestration at Tanglewood Academy.
My headcanons for what happened to the Baby Einstein puppets after the show ended:
- Bard the Dragon went on to pursue an acting career, but eventually he left that dream after he became cripplingly self conscious about his attitude and the unintentional trauma he caused kids to feel. However, he went back after going through therapy and issuing a public apology, and he now works as a stage actor for a community theater.
- Pavlov the Dog got a career as an archaeologist, and his partner, Jane the Monkey, is a renowned natural zoologist and author.
- Vincent Van Goat reconnected with Vivian, and they got married shortly after that. Vincent is still a painter, and his wife Vivian is a critically acclaimed performance artist.
- Isaac the Lion became a high school geometry teacher, and later got a husband, Osvaldo, who works part time as a youth pastor at an affirming church. They adopted two kids, Andrés and William.
- Otter took the money from his only appearance on Baby Einstein and saved up on residuals from DVD sales to buy a camera, as he found a calling in photography. He is now a somewhat successful photojournalist.
- Pillie and Coco both found their passion in music; Pillie became a music professor at a local university, and Coco became a percussionist in a Grammy-winning jazz fusion band.
- Mozart the Koala went on to become a conductor and composer, and won 3 Album of the Year Grammys for his recordings of Mahler's First Symphony, Mozart's Magic Flute opera, and his own collection of classical pieces.
- Tragically, when Bach the Rabbit went on to be a respected organist and had a budding career, he died in a car accident at age 29.
- Neptune the Turtle became a marine biologist and got featured in the Nature and Science journals for his discovery of a new variety of deep sea species.
- Beethoven the Giraffe, though depicted playing the violin, is actually a cellist and double bassist, and he earned a spot in the New York Philharmonic as one of their most respected members.
- Quackamus Duck became a billionaire through getting in early on natural gas fracking, though later recanted that investment and became a philanthropist, donating heavily to climate change organizations and investing in renewable energy startups.
- Neighton the Horse fell on hard times after leaving the show due to being a drug addict, and it was rumored that he took the money from residuals to pay for his addiction. He is now recovering and 13 years sober. MacDonald the Cow founded a farm and started his own rather successful business growing and selling wheat, rye and barley. Neighton and MacDonald got married and founded an agricultural school.

Hello! Huge fan of your work! I saw that you do ship pairing and I was wondering if you could do me! :) If you can't that's totally fine and I hope you have an amazing day!!
Oki idk how to really do this so Imma just put stuff i saw other people do.
Pronouns: She/ They (I don't really care what I'm called as long as it's not mean)
I'm a little bit on the shorter side (5'0) and I have brown hair cut to about chin length. It's pretty wavy and frizzy but I don't really mind :) I usually dress in bright colours like oranges and yellows and I am a sucker for pins. Also I love silly socks idk if that's important but they're my favorite :D
interests include collecting comic books (I've loved them since i was little! I collect DC, Marvel, Dark horse, Image, you name it! I started a few years back and have amassed quite the collection) I am also very into theatre/ music! I play piano and do a lot of shows as well as sing/ play keys in a band! I also love DND! I dm for my friends a bunch and it's a blast! I asked my friends to describe me and they said that I am like a neverending energetic toddler who they can tell has ADD. So...yeah XD okay I think that's it thank you for your time! Sorry if I did this wrong!
Hmmmm..first of all thank you very much! Second, I think that you are...
Jerome's doll!
This ginger would love the colors you normally dress in and would find your choice of socks amusing, he would probably ask to see your pins.
He would be interested in your comic book collection, come to see you play with your band and ask you to play for him or maybe teach him how to play but would lose patience quickly. Jerome is AN ENERGETIC TODDLER like you! So you would find yourself doing many fun and childish things.
I feel like Jerome could have ADHD so..you could be like...bonded? I'm not so sure because I don't know if ADD is the same as ADHD. I hope I didn't write bullshit.
While playing the piano
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jerome Valeska X Reader
Warnings: fluff, playing piano
Words: 153
Summary: Y/n playing piano.
Note: Sorry for the mistakes and the English.
..................................................................................
Y/n's hands moved elegantly and quickly on the piano keys as she enjoyed the sunshine coming in through the windows that warmed her skin, the house was silent and the notes coming out filled the room she was in; Jerome had not gone out but had remained there quieter than usual listening to her play, admiring her movements as he remained lying on the couch with his face turned toward her.
He had tried days before to play but had not been able to and had given up declaring that it was boring but still wonderful to listen to, he had even asked her to play songs that were more fun and different from Bach or Vivaldi or Mozart and she agreed by promising to play the songs Jerome wanted to hear like 'Baby Shark' and other children's songs that made him start bouncing like a baby to the melody while dancing.

What kind of music do you like other than hypmic's? 💖
I like rock and metalcore music!
I was definitely a 2000s emo kid (MCR, Fall Out Boy, Panic!, Paramore, Green Day) and I think I just kind of branched out from there to some harder stuff (Alesana, Atreyu, BMTH, BFMV, A7X) and ended up in a weird place (Alestorm, Jinjer, In This Moment, Trivium) and then of course there’s the classic old school hard rock/metal bands (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, AC/DC, Slayer). I like lots of layered sounds in my music haha I’m a pianist and a classically trained vocalist so that probably has something to do with it 😅
But I also like classical music (Vivaldi and Mozart are my faves) and I’m always down for 2000s pop songs cause they just remind me of my childhood haha~

All Set For Tomorrow's PMC Prodigy Open Day!
Tumblr media
Hi Everyone,
Just a quickie to say that we are all set for our last Open Day of 2023, couldn’t think of a better one to finish on than with PMC Speakers showcasing their incredible Prodigy 1 and 5 speakers, have to say they really do sound amazing, especially the 5's in the Naim room, how they fill such a big space for such a small speaker I have no idea, everyone is in for a real treat tomorrow 👌 Then at the other end of the spectrum we have the Mighty PMC Fenestria’s rocking with our dCS Vivaldi One and Bryston 28B’s behind them, gonna be a good one, please feel free to come along to see the year out in style 👍 Cheers,
Paul.
