Pig!Marinette for my kwami swap roster. It's... already been half a year since the last one, apparently. Oops. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a fan of the canon colors for the pig holder's outfit, so I stuck with Daizzi's colors, but muted and pinker... fine! I did my own thing (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ No regrets.

What miraculous do you think are the ideal matches for the madrigals?

It depends on if you want to go by a strict gift basis or personality. Some of those aren't exclusive though-

TLDR-

Julieta- Wayzz, Alma- Nooroo or Liiri, Pepa- Daizzi/Longg, Bruno- Sass or Tikki, Felix- Diazzi, Augustin- Kalkki, Isabela- Pollen, Dolores- Longg or Barkk, Luisa- Pollen & Duusu, Camilo- Pollen, Antonio- Duusu/unclear, and Mirabel- any of them really.

Bonus Turtle Julieta who didn't make it into AVB- Her name is Hicotea

Julieta for example I think would do well with the turtle both because it's the closest to her gift (since besides the ladybug there isn't a healing power) and I think she and Wayzz would get along well.

Alma would theoretically either have the butterfly (Matriarch deal) or the Ladybug and Cat. But I don't think she'd get along with any of the kwamis very well. Maybe Liiri, but she'd not here.

Pepa would power wise have the dragon, and I think in personality it fits okay. But I would personally either give her Wayzz or Daizzi. Possibly also Orikko.

Bruno would have either Fluff or Sass based on his gift and I think he'd get along with both. I also think he and Tikki would get along (hence Cochineal) and Plagg would have a similar dynamic with him that he does with Adrien, albeit less parental/familial, more platonic. I think he and Mullo would also get along.

Felix would get along with Daizzi, Ziggy, or Orikko. All three seem to thrive on holders with high energy and positive attitude

Augustin could do well with Wayzz and possible Kaalki, since she's probably help with his clumsiness through sheer determination. As well as Stompp who would go "Fuck it, lets just throw shit." I gave him Sass in AVB since I figured he'd be willing to try a million times to get it right, but its not my fist pick.

Isabela would probably do best with Pollen, both because haha Bee, but also- Pollen is a very loyal bee. She calls Isabela her queen but if her queen wants to throw color bombs and do fancy acrobatics with vines? Bravo! Keep going. I stand by the idea that Isabela and Longg could never really get along. Second choices would be Xuppu or Trixx since they'd encourage her to have fun but Trixx for sure would not let her get away with being bitchy. Tikki would also probably do her good.

Dolores could still do well with Mullo at the best of times but I'd be more inclined to give her Pollen, Longg, or Barkk. Pollen and Long would be very respectful of her sensitive hearing while still helping push her, and Barkk would bite anyone being too loud. She is very loyal. Dolores would probably also do well with Plagg for the simple fact he is high demand for food, but very apathetic the rest of the time.

Luisa would match with Roaar in terms of gifts but personality wise I think Pollen, Duusu, Kalkki, or Barkk. With I think Pollen or Duusu being the strongest two.

Camilo would match with Trixx for powers but I wasn't kidding in A Lawless Cat when I said I thought he'd make a good Bee. They're leaders and need to hold attention, but can get in a good sting if you turn your back. Other pick would be Orikko.

Antonio I think does well with the Peacock but otherwise he's a bit to young to know what other miraculous he would thrive with. His compassion would potentially also do well with the butterfly.

And now Mirabel, the character who i think has the widest picks.

Sticking to Cannon Encanto Mirabel I still think she'd have the widest variety. Obviously Nooroo is the top pick, Mirabel likes to help people but most of the time she's teaching them to help themselves first. Even to her own detriment. I think she and Tikki would thrive as two creative spirits, same with Ziggy. Her compassion and good understanding of feelings and others, would make her do well with Duusu. Plagg would encourage ehr to fight for herself, Liiri would want her to break free. Xuupu, Trixx, Orikko, and Diazzi would help her bring fun back into her life as well as spread her strengths to others. She's intuitive enough to work well with Sass, Roarr would push her to take power into her hands and be heard. Stompp would teach her to defend herself. The only kwami I think she wouldn't get on perfectly with is Longg, but even then it wouldn't be particularly bad. It's just that- Mirabel has specifically gone her whole life seeing herself as Imperfect which would strain her connection to him.

For the Actor AU, how did they feel abt the canon heroes' outfits? If they could, how would they have modified them?

Marinette: Basic as fuck! It looks like I’m wearing footie pajamas! If I were in charge of my costume, I’d give myself a full-on punk look because Ladybug’s are some badass motherfuckers. Oh, and boots that have soles equipped with a shock-absorbing cushion, and a heel that contains a reinforced spring to soften the shock whenever I land. And… Maybe a backpack shaped like ladybug wings to hold my Lucky Charms and anything I need to collect for my plan.

Adrien: Less leather! That stuff shrinks, and a full leather bodysuit is not comfortable. Also, because of the cat holders’ powers, it would be cool if heroes had some sort of medical supplies on them just in case, like stored in a utility belt. And I’m with Mari, those boots sound badass. What else?… Oh, definitely add some more color instead of just basic black.

Alya: Well, the Fox doesn’t seem like a combative hero due to the powers. I see Rena Rouge as a distraction, really, so her outfit wouldn’t be one of those “ready for battle” types. Here’s what I’m thinking, one of those noir-film type outfits. The hat covers my face a bit to give me an air of mystery, and the outfit would look almost casual that no villain would suspect me.

Nino: I mean… Carapace’s look is cool. It’s alright. I’m liking the goggles, but… I’d prefer if he had armor. He’s the fucking turtle hero! He should be ready to take any blow that a villain sends his way!

Rose: Where to begin? Look, you all know me; I love pink more than the next guy, but… Sometimes too much is too much. The Pig Miraculous strikes me as… More farmhand than ballerina. Yee, I know, the heroes come with a tambourine, but come on! While I do love the skirt, I’d trade it in for overalls, either shorts or a skirt. Oh, and add some black in there, too. Daizzi has a black circle around his eye, let him be represented!

Juleka: Studded jacket. That is all.

Luka: Oh, honey, either give me a hood so I can look like a cobra or get the fuck away from me with that outfit.

Myléne: The mouse strikes me as more of the elegant type, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the pastel pink mixed with the grey, but I see Polymouse wearing skirts over Pigella. But, that’s just my opinion.

Ivan: Honestly, I’m fine with the canon design for Minotaurox. Yeah, he’s got pockets and padding, I-I like it. And if you show me a better design, I’ll happily take a look at it.

Marc: … I think all of the effort went into making Rooster Bold’s costume. He’s got rooster hair, the little tallons on the back of his boots, and a fucking tailcoat! He and Mayura are the only ones to have tailcoats! I’m not complaining, though. I… I actually like it, but it is a nightmare putting on and taking off that wig.

Nathaniel: Well, I can say I sort of know how some of the girls feel, because that suit was tight as hell! You could see my hip dip! Also, I would’ve liked to have a different hairstyle and maybe some color, because I am the only male redhead around for miles. Oh, and climbing boots becuase, I’m a goat, duh.

Alix: … Do I need to say it? Okay, give me some active wear! I’m traveling through a shit ton of different timelines! I need someone sporty and active when I’m on the go. Also, I’ll need a backpack like Marinette.

Kim: Not hearing any complaints from me! I liked Roi Singe, but being Scarlet Beetle is way cooler!

Max: The glasses can easily come off. What I need is a high collar or a bandana that can cover the lower half of my face in case my glasses become askew or someone is able to place my identity because all I have on my face are some stupid glasses! God, I’m so glad I’m doing this new show now.

Chloé: Oh, I just want wings.

Zoé: Same.

Sabrina: Can mine just not look like my clothes, please?! I’ll take whatever, just not that!

Kagami: I would prefer if I had some form of armor and not a spandex bodysuit. It would need to be lightweight but also durable to allow me to travel faster, of course.

What do you think would be the canon kwamis favourite hobies?

Tikki - Planning out the next generation of giant reptiles that Plagg will not destroy this time. xD On a more serious note, I think Tikki would easily be consumed with the internet and all the information and stories and art on it.

Plagg - Cheese tasting. But not just flat out eating cheese, but I feel he would like to go all out fancy. And not just cheese tasting, but he would like things like wine tasting too, etc. Just luxury and food somewhere he can laze about and eat, but feel like the king he is.

Longg - I think Longg would enjoy reading a nice long book. xD But I do think he'd love to read.

Fluff - Watching history documentaries, just so she and her holders can mock them for how wrong they are.

Sass - Sass loves calming things; reading, music and the like. However he's also a big sucker for gossip, though he doesn't admit it.

Wayzz - Puzzles, whether it be actual puzzles or something like crosswords or Sudoku. He also loves learning about the modern world.

Orikko - He's definitely a singer. Vote's out on if he's a good one though.

Kaalki - I think outer space would capture her attention. Not that she's unfamiliar with it, but rather she loves seeing everything humans have managed to do with space, from space travel to powerful telescopes.

Barkk - I can see her becoming super invested in TV shows and their fandoms. (She's one of us!)

Daizzi - Looking at baby animal pictures. They are all adorable, whether it be dogs, deer, snakes, or larva.

Mullo - I could see them being an avid collector, of what? Well that changes every few decades. Their corner of the Miracle Box is stuffed with random things they've collected over the years.

Pollen - I think Pollen would have a cute little garden. :)

Ziggy - Okay but Ziggy in a chefs hat cooking.

Stompp - She loves Janga, though her favorite part is when it all comes tumbling down.

Trixx - Disney movies. And practical jokes, of course. And Pokemon.

Xuppu - He loves games of any kind. Board games, party games, video games, card games, etc. Anything fun that he can do with others. The problem is that if he has no one to play with his favorite game becomes playing pranks on everyone.

Roaar - A connoisseur of music. From classical to heavy metal.

Liiri - Stargazing.

Nooroo - Not being used for evil, being with other kwamis, hugs, being treated like a living creature, drinking fine wine.

Duusu - Video games! And fanfiction. They are a huge shipper and you can't change my mind.

Paradise - Chapter 22 - The Battle Begins

            Alix stared out her window at the battle that raged below. The demons that threatened the agents of Heaven roamed the streets. The fox demon created illusions to frighten and threaten the people that ran in terror. The black cat man destroyed buildings and other random objects, but avoided the people where he could. They caused their mischief until angels descended from above. The two sides engaged each other in brutal combat.

            Alix’s blood went cold as she watched the battle. She didn’t like any of this. They were left at the mercy of these horrid monsters, but at least they had guardians. At least the fairy woman and the peacock were here. At least they had people to keep them safe.

            “What’s the matter, Sweetpea. You have that look on your face when you’re troubled,” Daizzi, a pig kwami, asked.

            “I suppose I am. There’s a war going on, right?”

            “Yes. Paradise wants to be made, but there are holders against it.”

            “Do you think we could help? Would that be a possibility?”

            “To help the holders against Paradise?”

            “No. They’re clearly evil. I don’t want to help those kind of people.”

            “So, do you want to help Paradise?”

            “Should I? Can I? What do you think?”

            “You can. They seem like the good guys here. Nothing wrong with helping the good ones out, right?”

            “Yeah. Yeah! Let’s do it. Help the good ones. You ready, Daizzi?”

            “Always, Sweetpea.”

            “Let’s go! Daizzi, wonder!”

            Luka, Juleka, and Rose ran through the back alleys in their attempt to evade the war that raged between the crazy Paradise holders and the holders of destruction. Luka led them through the alleys until a part of a building collapsed. Juleka pulled him back before it could crush him.

            “Dammit! Curse these damn holders,” Juleka hissed.

            “Maybe we should transform now. It’ll be safer, right?” Rose asked.

            “Are you mad? Why would we transform now? We don’t want anyone to know who we are. If they did, they’d stop us from enjoying ourselves. Do you want that?” Luka pressed.

            “I don’t want to be dead either!” Rose snapped.

            “Well, suck it up and keep moving. Both of you!” Juleka roared.

            Luka grabbed Juleka’s arm as he headed down another alley. He turned a corner as he was scooped up by a man dressed in navy blue tactical gear with stripes of orange and yellow camo. He looked up as Juleka and Rose were caught and thrown over another man’s shoulders, who wore all black athletic clothes and had a pair of bull horns on his head.

            Luka’s eyes widened as he recognized the man’s face as Kim, one of his old classmates. He lowered his head and kept his face hidden to avoid being recognized. He watched the alleys disappear below them as the guy that carried him leapt over the buildings and oncoming debris. He watched it shift into a street when they stopped. He risked a look around when the guy shifted in direction. His eyes widened when he saw the ladybug girl from the news trapped under a pile of debris.

            “Hold on, Hope! I’ve got you!” Aurora called out.

            Luka’s breath caught at the familiar voice. It was Nino’s voice, another of his old classmates. Aurora put him down as he rushed to help Hope. He watched Aurora unearth Hope as a shadow fox materialized out of thin air. It tossed Aurora aside with the debris and freed Hope. Hope clung to the fox as it shifted into a tall woman dressed in dark robes surrounded by nine black fox tails.

            Luka shifted and watched the fox woman comfort Hope, who sobbed hysterically. He tilted his head at the odd silence of Hope despite her crying. He watched them until a boulder flew in and hit the fox woman, destroying the fox woman’s illusion. Hope’s jaw dropped in a desperate attempt to scream. She stumbled to her feet as Aurora ran up and threw her over his shoulder before he grabbed Luka.

            Luka glanced up at Hope, who desperately fought to escape Aurora’s grip, but couldn’t. He fought to piece together her familiar face when it struck him like lightning. Her round, soft face. Her big, bluebell eyes. Her soft, peachy skin. Her black hair that surely shone blue when the light hits it just right. It was Marinette. He swallowed hard as old feelings resurfaced that mixed with new passions. He fought a losing battle as the passions consumed him.

            Luka breathed a sigh of relief when he was put down. He scrambled to move away when his eyes caught a glimpse of Hope. He paused and stared at her, his mind whirling with unspeakable thoughts. He watched her with hungry, desperate eyes when a lanky boy in snake-themed clothes and blond hair approached Hope. He glared at the boy, who checked on her before he moved on.

            Luka watched the boy as bitter jealousy tore through him. The boy moved around the area, checking on others when he saw Luka. The boy paused as his cheeks flushed. Luka raised a brow as the boy looked around before he trotted over to Luka.

            “H-hello. Uh, are you hurt?”

            Luka didn’t answer.

            “Uh, r-right. Um. I’m… Aspik. Nice to, uh, meet you?”

            Aspik held out his hand with a nervous, awkward smile. Luka looked at it, then at Aspik, before he turned to walk away.

            “Wait!” Aspik cried.

            Luka paused and glanced behind.

            Aspik hesitated. “Uh, well, you see… I… you… I, uh. Did you… uh… did you know you look very… nice?”

            “Uh, thanks, I guess. Anything else?”

            Aspik’s face flushed red as he looked away.

            “Right. Well, see you later, Aspik.”

            Luka disappeared behind a corner before Aspik could speak. He hid behind a dumpster for a few minutes as Juleka and Rose joined him.

            “Finally! Where have you been?” Juleka whispered.

            “Does it matter? We’re all here now. Let’s go. Ziggy, bleat it.”

            A goat kwami disappeared into a pair of hair clips in Luka’s hair. His clothes transformed into a worn leather jacket, ripped black jeans, knee-high boots with chains wrapped around them. His chest exposed with a satanic black goat head tattoo on his chest. His hair slicked back as two sets of goat horns adorned his head.

            Rose tensed up. “Styx, fangs out.”

            Juleka fumed then sighed. “Whatever. Orikko, sunrise.”

            Void struggled as she created new waves of illusions only for the angelic army Echidna effortlessly created carved through her ranks. She watched as Widow curbed the army making some of the angels betray their own. It was effective, but not like Cat Noir’s destructive attacks that leveled legions of the army along with the city.

            Void moved to create a new set of illusions when pain struck her side. She took a sharp breath as she fell to her knees. She struggled as angels surrounded her. They pointed their weapons at her as one moved up.

            “You’ve lost this battle, fox. Surrender your jewel and we’ll show you mercy.”

            Void laughed. “Were it that easy, monster.”

            The head angel raised its weapon when a cat’s yowl echoed.

            “What was that?” the head angel asked.

            Void laughed and staggered to her feet. She grinned as black blood streamed from her mouth. “Haven’t you noticed by now? I mean, it’s awfully quiet, don’t you think?”

            The head angel furrowed its brow before its eyes widened. It turned and saw Cat Noir in the distance. It shouted orders to retreat, but they were caught in the destruction beam as he leveled the district and destroyed Void’s illusion.

            Void’s eyes shot open as she looked around her dark room. She struggled to sit up as her body ached from head to toe. She let out a breath as she managed to sit on her bed when Hope burst into her room. She yelped as Hope tackled her but didn’t knock her back.

            “Hope, are you ok?”

            Hope shook her head.

            “I’m here. You can rest now.”

            Hope nodded and tapped her earrings twice. Tikki emerged from the earrings and Hope reverted to Marinette. Void glared at Tikki, who looked panicked and concerned before she retreated from the room. Void sighed and comforted Marinette.

            “Rest easy, Mar-Mar. I’m here. I’m here.”

            Echidna cried out in frustration. “We were played for fools! That damn fox tricked us. She had us running circles just to have the cat come in and level an entire district!”

            “Now, there’s the possibility that some people were harmed, right? Not everyone could have gotten out in time, right?” Erinona commented.

            “They have to be working with that little team. You saw them all, didn’t you? The little ladybug girl, the tiger, the cow, the swan, the wolf, the rabbit! They got them all out in time.”

            “And what about the goat, the rooster, and the bat?” a girl’s voice asked.

            Echidna, Erinona, Ambrosia, and Agape looked around the chapel. Their eyes landed on a girl with light pink skin, large pink pigtails, a frilly three tone pink dress with gloves and boots to match.

            “Who are you?” Echidna asked.

            “I’m Circe. I’m here to help your cause. I would sooner fight for good than for evil.”

            Echidna hummed. “We will take any help we can get. These demons have thwarted us and leveled an entire district.”

            Circe’s eyes widened. “An entire district? Why would they do that?”

            “I can’t answer that, but we could use your help in stopping them. Could you tell us about this goat, rooster, and bat?”

            “Oh, yes! I saw them head to an abandoned warehouse. I peeked inside to see all manner of debauchery and impure behaviors.”

            “Oh my! Sister, what should we do?” Erinona asked.

            Echidna considered. “These three sound vile in nature and concept. Whoever they are, they are bound to join the demonic forces. We need to stop them by any means necessary. Circe, would you help with that?”

            Circe shuffled uncomfortably. “I won’t have to enter their den of sin, would I?”

            Echidna’s eyes widened as her face softened. “No, child. I won’t subject you to that. I just ask you help be our eyes. If you see anything that can help, please tell us. You can do that, won’t you?”

            Circe nodded.

            “Good. Agape, Ambrosia, I want you two to look into these holders. Find out what you can and when we can mobilize against them, inform me at once. Understood?”

            Ambrosia and Agape nodded. The group exchanged their last pleasantries for the night before they went their separate ways. Dragnet smirked on her perch high up in the rafters.

            “Understood, Emilie.”

Recalling the idea of Ladybug and the temp Holders pulling the Kwamis out and creating new Miraculouses: with Jubilation being the first-

Rose comes upon the scene and helps Ladybug and Chat Noir snap out of the fantasy. Darker Owl (ugh) hits her with Gift, and she sees Daizzi safe and sound. This only emboldens her and she demands that he "Give her back!" There is some reaction, and the Pig Kwami's energy starts flowing toward Rose. Ladybug comes to her side and sees the girl's bracelet glow as she touches her. Ladybug draws on their bond to Daizzi (her own as Guardian and Rose's as a previous multiple-time Holder) and together they pull the Kwami out of Darker Owl and into the bracelet. The Akumatized villain finds that his Gift Gun is powerless, and Rose turns into Pigella and uses a finger gun to shoot Gift at him—and through him into Monarch. When the Akuma is purified and Monarch recovers, he discovers that the Pig Miraculous ring is dull and Daizzi is gone. Ladybug and Chat Noir wonder how they pulled it off, but they are glad that the Pig Kwami has been recovered.

(This could happen because the Kwami was in the Alliance Ring and disconnected from her Miraculous.)

Tomoe scolds Gabriel for managing to lose another Miraculous despite their countermeasures, but Gabriel shows her that he still has the ring but it has lost its connection to the Kwami. They wonder what could have happened and how to prevent it in the future.

School’s started up again and I feel drained like all the time but you know what? No! I feel like doing something dumb but fun!

MCSM Miraculous AU!

Petra and Lukas are the Cat and Ladybug respectively (Operating under the names Lucky Lad and Mardröm) but they know who each other is. They’re both crushing on Jesse, their college classmate and a civilian who always finds them after fights to patch them up, and when they get the opportunity to give them a Miraculous they obviously spring for it.

So Jesse gets the Pig (But they were considered for the Turtle, the Goat, and the Rabbit, but after a brief stint with the Turtle, Daizzi won out) and operates under the name Reuben. Other holders include Aiden with the Tiger (but it got revoked for a time before he could use it properly), Olivia with the Rooster, and Axel with the Turtle (after Jesse’s unfortunate failure with it).

Jesse’s still in the dark about their identities but they’re also now a field medic since their pack carries over to Reuben.

Ivor’s the Guardian (and also the Peacock Holder), the Order are old heroes who got their Miraculi revoked by Ivor after using them for fame instead of heroics, and Romeo is both Jesse’s caretaker and the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous.

Here's the redesigns for the kwamis in my rewrite. I know... they look very different. I had thoughts. They look like Plagg and Tikki do in the first image when they don't have a holder/no one is wearing their jewel. They become those chibis when someone wields their jewel so that they're "travel size". So basically, they don't just disappear when no one is wearing their miraculous.

Btw Daizzi is gonna use they/them pronouns just because the show keeps changing them from a boy to a girl and such. The kwamis don't have gender, they present themselves however they'd like (canon to the show).

Also each of them is wearing clothing from a dynasty that they liked best, so I assure you, I didn't just give them random outfits that don't historically make sense together.

Pollen is wearing yellow/gold and I know that in Chinese history, that was primarily a color of royalty/emperors and such and to wear the color in abundance was disrespectful. However, I feel it's fitting to her character (aside from the fact that she's yellow herself), because like Chloe, she acts like she is royal. But if this bugs anyone, I can easily just change her to look more green and blue.

Rose: You know I love Unicorns, and nothing makes me feel better!!!

The Kitty Section members throw up their masks while Marinette, Nino, Lila, Mylene, and Nathaniel all cheer.

Marinette: Wow guys! For your first performance that was pretty cool!

Luka: Thanks Marinette… you always have the right thing to say!

The two both blush.

Rose: Actually, Juleka made the song! I just came up with it!

Nino: Yeah you did pretty good Jules!

Mylene: I’ve never been to a live performance before! Granted they do scare me…

Juleka: (mutters) I- uh… thank you…

Nathaniel: You deserve it!

Lila: Yeah… even my trips to Italy weren’t that exhilarating…

Everyone glares at Lila.

Lila: What?! I wasn’t exaggerating this time!

Everyone on the houseboat leaves. Luka and Juleka walk downstairs.

Luka: I’m gonna put everything up this time. Goodnight?

Juleka: Good Night!

While putting everything up, in the basement, Luka sees two shining jewels. He picks them up and they shine greatly.

Luka: Huh? What are these?

The two gems vibrate and Luka senses something. A unique melody he can only comprehend if he puts on the interesting jewels.

Luka puts the brooches on. They suddenly stop shaking.

Luka: Huh… that’s weird… the way they vibrated suggested something different…

Suddenly the gems glow and out come two luminous balls of old. Nooroo and Dussu twirl around Luka in a harmonious way before suddenly appearing in front of him.

Nooroo: *bows* Hello Master…

Luka gasps.

Dussu: WOOO! I feel so free! I was trapped in there for so long! And then there was that horrible woman... I hope we're with W-

Bubbles suddenly release themselves from Dussu's mouth as if he was no longer allowed to speak.

Luka: Who are you talking about little guy?

Dussu: Our owner! He gaurds the Miraculous! Last thing I remember a giant hungry blob this kid was chasing everyone!

Luka is confused.

Luka: So… what are you guys?

Nooroo: We are Kwami's! Cosmic beings that are born once a new concept is formed!

Luka: And these are?

Nooroo: Miraculouses! *picks up Butterfly* This is mine!

Nooroo chuckles.

Luka: How many of these are there?

Nooroo: TOO MANY TO COUNT!

Dussu: We have many friends in our little box though! Almost 20! Daizzi, Sass, Wayzz! And we must get back to them!

Luka: You miss them huh...

Dussu nods. Luka suddenly begins stroking his chin.

Luka: These things-

Luka instantly corrects himself.

Luka: Miraculouses, can they grant powers?

Nooroo: Yes! Every miraculouses grants a special ability based off of a concept. Some grant multiple actually!

Luka: Intresting... and your concept is-

Nooroo: Nooroo, the kwami of transmission! I am the butterfly and whenever my holder senses negative emotions they will instantly be able to transmit an akuma, a butterfly charged with energy, towards the person and akumatize them! Turning them into... a superhero!

Dussu: I'm Dussu, the kwami of Animation! I can animate beings based on your emotions!

Luka stares at the two miraculous.

Luka: Are there any SPECIAL miraculous??

Dussu seems offended. He becomes tense and looks away from Luka. He then turns back to Luka and begins speaking sadly.

Dussu: Well… Fluff can travel through time, Pollen can immobilize people, Orikko can knock people out- But the most important are the Ladybug and the Black Cat!

Luka: I sense something about this… like order to an unharmonious choir… Please, Elaborate.

Nooroo: The Ladybug has the power of creation! And the Black Cat the power of destruction! These two miraculous’ grant a special wish when combined that can alter reality and reshape the universe!

Luka: Well friends. I didn't think I'd be saying this any time soon.

Nooroo and Dussu cheer.

Nooroo: Wait- what?

Luka: I'll be getting the miraculous and reshape the world into an image of perfection!

Nooroo: Y- You can't do this. It will destroy everything and reshape it all at the cost of loosing your loved ones. Are you willing to take that risk?!

Luka nods.

Dussu: YEAH! And I can create beings off of pure erratic emotion!

Luka: Now tell me Nooroo. What do I have to do....

Nooroo sighs in great displeasure.

Nooroo: All you have to say to get started is “Nooroo! Dark Wings Rise!”

Luka: Hm…

Anarka: LUKA! HURRY UP AND COME FER DINNER! DON’T WANNA BE THROWN OFF DECK DO YA?

Luka: Alright Mom!

Luka takes the Miraculous and hides them in his fanny pack.

Earlier this same day, Kagami has matters of her own to attend to. Tatsu, Kagami's car, begins the day driving her to her lessons. Art, Violin recitals, Tennis, Lunch, Dance, Singing Lessons, Fencing, an occasional meeting with her mother and her mothers accosiates (which wasn't often but she was always prepared) and finally the afternoon fencing lessons with her mother.

Of course that wasn't the end as Kagami forced herself to take on other self taught activities as well in order to live up to her mother's standards.

The two finally arrive at their destination. Adrien met up with Kagami at fencing. The two hadn't yet attended public school so the building enough never got old for them. Adrien and Kagami do a quick "pound it" before they entered. A friendly tradition the two as well as Chloé would do together. The best of friends.

After a long fencing session Chloé arrives in her limousine with Sabrina behind her.

Chloé: I can't believe your parents still don't let you go to public school... Ridiculous! Utterly Ridiculous!

Kagami: Actually Chloé.... at the meeting tonight... Adrien and I are planning to tell our parents-

Adrien: We... want to go to public school with you!

Chloé: Ooh! Finally! We'll be the best trio at school! Adrien Agreste, famous model and son of Gabriel Agreste, Kagami Tsurugi, famous fencer and daughter of Tomoe Tsurugi, and Chloé Bourgeois!

The trio laugh and walk into Chloé's car.

The next morning, Adrien and Kagami are on the phone together.

Adrien: Today’s gonna be so exiting! Our first day of school can you believe it.

Kagami: I can not believe that my mother is letting me out of the house. Especially walking.

Suddenly, while Kagami is walking to school she stops at the cross road.

Marinette does her thing and arrives at the cross road as well and you know trips or whatever

Master Fu starts to cross the cross road when he’s almost at the end and trips over Marinettes box

Just as Marinette was about to help Fu, Kagami puts out her foot catching his cane and catches Master Fu with her arms

Kagami: Are you ok sir?

Fu: Yes, thank you young lady…

Kagami: It was no problem at all sir, may you have a good day+

Fu: Yes… a good day [places the Miraculous in her bag]

Marinette gets mad and starting their little rivalry

Juleka runs towards College Dupont….

Juleka: *growls* No! I can’t be late!

Juleka bumps into Rose.

Rose: Hi Juleka!

Juleka mumbles something.

Juleka: Uh… I… hi Rose!

Rose: How are you-

Juleka: Uh… good. How are you?

Rose: AMAZING!

As usual. Rose was her perfect positive self.

Rose: We have 2 new students today! One of them is a model!

Juleka: *chuckles* Like Adrien Agreste?

Rose: Like? He is Adrien Agreste!

Juleka’s heart shattered as she heard the news.

Juleka: Isn’t he friends with Chloé?

Rose: Not everyone is like their friends! I’m sure this year will be perfect!

Suddenly a man slowly walks towards the school building and falls. The school bell rings and everyone rushes into the school. The old man struggles, reaching slowly for his cane.

Juleka hesitates and runs towards the old man risking to be late. She helps him up and picks up his cane.

Master Fu: Thank you young lady…

Juleka: I uh…

Rose: Jules!

Juleka nods to the old man and runs off. Master Fu chuckles as he watches the mini-miracle-box bounce in Juleka’s bag.

During class…

Ms Bustier Nino, Why don't you have a seat in the front row this year?

Nino growls and walks to the front row.

Chloé: Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

Marinette: Oh gosh…

Chloé: That's my seat.

Marinette: Bu- But Chloé-

Chloé growls. Marinette sighs and sits next to Alya.

Alya: *stands up* Hey! Who elected you queen of seats?!

Chloé: Well, well, well Sabrina. Maybe Adri-kins and Kagami-san should teach the new girl a lesson!

Marinette: Adrien… Agreste?! Kagami Tsurugi?!

Sabrina: New school, new year, new seats!

Marinette looks down and cries as Alya comforts her.

Miss Bustier: Has everyone found a seat?

Alya: Chillax, girl. No bigg-

Kagami slams the door open and bows heavily multiple times.

Kagami: I TRULY APOLOGIZE FOR BEING LATE MA’AM!

Adrien waves to Chloé embarrassed.

Juleka: Oh gosh… we have a fencing champion with us this year…

Marinette: Oh… it’s her.

Alya: Who?

Marinette: Earlier… this old man was walking across the street and she saved him way better than I ever could have…

Alya: *chuckles* Are you jealous?

Marinette: No! Uh… yes? Uh… maybe? She just carries herself so well…

Alya: Just be yourself and you won’t be jealous uh…

Marinette: Marinette, my name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng!

Alya: Alya Césaire!

Juleka: Oh no they’re here….

Rose: It’ll be fine Jules! This year will be perfect!

Adrien sits next to Nino and in front of Chloé as Kagami sits behind Chloé. Suddenly, Lila opens her mouth.

Lila: Uh… who are you?

Chloé: Ugh… how do you not know who Kagami Tsurugi is?

Lila: Oh? Tsurugi? You’re the Red Fencer?!

Kagami: Well…

Miss Bustier: For those of you who don't yet know me, I'm Miss Bustier. I'll be your teacher this year!

Chloé: Listen here newbie! I don’t know who you are but you’re obviously to ridiculous to recognize celebrities when you see them.

Kagami: Well Chloé, some people don’t have time for those kinds of things.

Chloé gasps. Suddenly, a stir arrives in the back classroom.

Ivan: Kim!

Miss Bustier: Ivan, what is going on?

Ivan: It's Kim! I'm so gonna get...

Miss Bustier: Ivan, go to the principal's office.

(Ivan walks away angrily.)

Meanwhile, with Luka in his classroom, he gets a sudden feeling and decides to ask the teacher (Ms. Carter) to leave to the restroom. Luka runs to the restroom as Nooroo flies out of his bag.

Nooroo: Master! I plead with yo-

Luka: Sorry Nooroo. But peace comes with sacrifices… Nooroo , WINGS BEAT!

Nooroo screeches.

Admiral: *sighs* Poor boy… sad… alone…. Derised… his melody must be redeemed…

A Butterfly flies into the bathroom from a small window and Luka corrupts it as he smiles in the most innocent manner.

Admiral: Fly my akuma! And help this mocked boy!

The akuma flies away towards Francois Dupont. It flies into Ivan’s poem to Mylene.

Later everyone across the city screams.

Roger: Ready? Fire!

The police fire at Stoneheart, but he only grows in size. Adrien turns on his TV.

André: I'm asking all parisians to stay home until this situation is under control.

News Crews: Mr Bourgeois. Mr Bourgeois!

Nadja: As incredible as it seems, it's been confirmed that Paris is indeed being attacked by a supervillain. The police have been struggling to keep the situation under control!

Roger: Be confident, the strong arm of the law will come crashing down on the... I mean, the other arm.

Juleka watches the television in fear as she suddenly sees a box in her bag.

Juleka: Huh?

Juleka takes the box out and suddenly a bright ball of light flies out of it. Suddenly, a small, big headed creature appears in front of Juleka.

Plagg: *yawns* Finally a breath of fresh air! Got any cheese.

Juleka screams and hides under the bed.

Plagg: Uh... did the box open itself or….

Juleka shudders under the bed.

Plagg: Oh well… this room is very shiny!

Plagg begins rummaging around Juleka’s room and trying to chew on her shiny things. Juleka screams and grabs Plagg.

Plagg: Oh? Are you my new holder.

Juleka nods her head no.

Plagg: Oh… I was almost sure that I saw you when the box was opened…

Juleka: W-what are you?

Plagg: I’m Plagg, the kwami of destruction! A cheese lover, I can grant you the power to destroy anything, physically or metaphorically. Understood?

Juleka nods no.

Plagg: A-okay. Now got anything to eat?

Juleka says no as Plagg continues to fly around her room. Suddenly she sees Rose on the TV, trapped under a rock. She gasps.

Juleka: Wha- what did you say you were.

Plagg: A kwami, a magical creature that can turn you into a superhero! I grant you the powers of Cataclysm, Purification and Restoration. Your main power is cataclysm which can disintegrates anything you touch and you’ll find out the rest when you transform….

Juleka: Alright… what do I have to do?

Plagg: Just say, “CLAWS OUT” and to detransform say “CLAWS IN”

Juleka: *inhale* You know…. Maybe it’s a good thing Rose makes me watch so much magical girl anime… Plagg, Claws Out?

In a quick fashion, Juleka transforms. Juleka, now InkChatlooks in the mirror.

InkChat: AAH! What am I doing.

Juleka looks one more time and inhales as she jumps out of the window.

With Kagami…

Kagami and her mother enter their house.

Tomoe: We will now have to reschedule our fencing sessions but I will be meeting with you to talk about that school of yours…

Kagami: Okay Mother.

The two part ways and Kagami walks up to her room and immediately begins to dig through her bag..

Kagami: Where is my swo-

Kagami pulls out the box.

Kagami: What is this?

Kagami opens the box and a bright light flashes in front of her . Kagami gasps. Tikki yawns.

Tikki: Hi!

Kagami: Are you a kami?

Tikki: Yeah, no, it’s complicated! I’m Tikki, a kwami! A creature created from a concept. I’m the kwami of Creation so I was born when the universe was!

Kagami: Interesting. Does this have anything to do with that creature out there.

Tikki: Oh no! It’s happened all ready?

Kagami: What did?

In Master Fu’s apartment.

Wayzz: Are you sure these are the best choices Master?

Fu: Almost positive Wayzz!

With Kagami…

Tikki: Now! Just say, Spots on!

Kagami: Okay. Tikki, Spots On.

We cut to Kagami swinging across Paris and into the middle of the street.

InkChat: *saves Rose* Hello there Ms. Bug.

Tentōchū: I am Tentōchū. What title would you like me to refer to you as?

InkChat: I… I’m uh… InkChat!

Tentōchu: Perfect, now let’s get to business!

The two run to the stadium and Juleka hesitates.

Stoneheart: Huh? Who are you two?!

Tentōchū: Tentōchū!

InkChat: InkChat!

Stoneheart roars.

Tentōchū: LUCKY CHARM! *gets a wetsuit* What.

Kagami looks around.

Tentōchū: InkChat, go towards that hose! *ties hose to wetsuit and runs towards Stoneheart*

Stoneheart grabs Tentōchū and drops the akuma. The water sprouts and inflates the suit. Stoneheart lets go of her. Tentōchū throws the akuma towards InkChat.

InkChat: Cataclysm!

InkChat quickly destroys the paper containing the akuma leaving the little being to fly away.

Meanwhile, Alya sits idly by and films the drama.

Tentōchū: Over!

InkChat sighs and begins to leave.

Tentōchū: Wait! You have to purify the akuma.

InkChat: Oh- I uh… It’s long gone. We should just do the restoration.

Tentōchū: Alright!

InkChat: Restoration!

InkChat activates her power turning her hand green.

Tentōchū: Restoration!

InkChat puts her hand on the LuckyCharm. Her and Tentōchū perform the spell and restore everything.

InkChat: *grabs the paper and reads it* "You haven't even got the guts to tell Mylène you love her, wuss." Rude!

Ivan: Kim wrote it. He's always making fun of me.

Tentōchū: I don’t know who this “Kim” is but you shouldn’t care about him. He’s the “wuss” as he says.

Tentōchū takes out a small trinket from her yoyo.

Tentōchū: This is one of my special powers. It allows me to create an object that alerts you when something bad comes.

Ivan: Thank you miss!

Alya: HEY! Wait SuperRedBu-

Tentōchū swings off.

Later…

Plagg: Great job “InkChat” AT FORGETTING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!

Juleka: Huh?

Plagg: The akuma can multiply and you didn’t purify it!

Juleka: *gasps* OH NO! This is horrible… I ruined everything Plagg as usual… *slowly pulls off the ring*

Plagg: WHAT?! NO!

Plagg disappears as Juleka sits in her room to mope.

Okay so haven't felt like writing more of the fairytale au yet. Because nobody's pushed for it. But this idea has been in my head a while and I haven't really done much with it so.... Here you go. This takes someplace in season 4, after penalteam but before Risk. Story after the cut.

Marinette was trying to work on her designs. Trying being the operative word because the kwamis were all bunched around the computer ahhing and giggling at something Bark had discovered. Why the dog kwami was the most interested in technology the new guardian couldn't figure out but it sure did irk her at times. Looking over after the latest bout of chatter Marinette gave her designs up as a lost cause and went to see what they were all so entranced by. Seeing Tikki there as well gave her pause, her own kwami had been outside the Miracle box long enough for most things to have become common. What could she possibly be so interested in? "What are you all up too?"

"Reading." Came the unanimous answer. It was strange how synchronised they could be some times despite having vastly different personalities. She supposed that's what happened when you spent millenia together.

Glancing at the monitor Marinette saw that they were, in fact, reading. They'd come across one of the many fanfiction sites on the web and appeared to have found one of the few that had been made since her and Chat Noir faced StoneHeart. There weren't too many, the entire world had super heroes after all, and even those that did exist never got much traction outside France for the same reason. Taking a quick look at the word count she found herself surprised once again. It was over 200k and appeared to be just one work in a series with multiple chapters finished. "What's it about?" She asked taking a seat. She was extremely curious now.

"Us." Came the response in unison again. But Barrk was quick to follow up. "It's about you holders and all the drama you face." Clearly the excitement of the akuma's isn't what had the puppy's attention.

"But it also has what happens at your school too!" Daizzy spoke up with a light squee. The little pig loved nothing more than hearing tales about normal human life. "It's a different class to yours though." She went on sounding a little upset.

Marinette glanced at the title of the story. "Normal life in Paris huh? That sounds familiar." She gave a smile as she continued reading the summary.

'Note. All personal details and descriptions have been changed to protect the identity of those who have been akumatised and those related to the victims of HawkMoth.' Well that was nice of them at least. But hang on... Wouldn't that mean...?

Taking the mouse away from Barrk, Marinette quickly scanned through the chapter. The fights with the akuma's were on the news and the Ladyblog so details about that weren't surprising. But... There it was. The chapter was titled Robustus and detailed the encounter with the akumatised ai. Not only that it spoke about the confrontation in Miss Mendeleiv's class that led to it. And about the courageous class president that tricked their teacher into letting her go to the principle's office. Like the summary said the names and other details were all different but Marinette had lived through this. She knew who it was talking about. "Oh this is a disaster!" Marinette put her head in her hands as she cried out. "Someone in our class is writing about all the akuma's and posting it online! What if someone figures out our identities? What if Shadow Moth finds this?" This was a complete disaster!

"Calm yourself young Guardian." The sage like voice of Wayzz quietened her nerves some what. "Nobody thinks any of the students are holders of the Miraculous, they're always describes as being rescued by the heroes. Most of the readers don't even think the students exist." The kwami of protection carried on.

"Yeah. The author's even got some great fanart of what the readers think they would look like." Came the voice of Ziggy, the kwami of Passion. Of course that would get an excited comment.

"Really?" Marinette looked at Tikki for confirmation. The reassuring smile the little ladybug spirit gave off calmed her nerves instantly.

With that she looked through the chapters again. Any time Marinette, or rather, Ladybug handed out a Miraculous it always refered to the person by their hero name, all other descriptors vanishing. While the conversation wasn't exact and the activation phrase wasn't mentioned at all, the personalities of the kwami's were right on even if the names were missing. This made Marinette uneasy again. How could someone know about the kwamis so precisely? Aside from her and Alya the only other person who knew about them in any detail was Su Han and potentially Bunnyx but neither of them would write a story. "Are you okay Marinette?" The rest of the kwami's seemed to have noticed that something was wrong and switched focus to their Guardian. Being out and about was something they were only capable of because of her kind heart. How could they not care for her?

"Yeah it's just..." She shook her head as she tried to focus. There was nobody else. Nobody who would have written this anyway. Right? Going back to the first chapter Marinette read through the description of her classmates again. They were all there. All except... Quickly scrolling to look at the name of the author Marinette let out a groan. "Of course. How could I forget?" There was one other person who had met the Kwami's. Who had spoken with them enough to get to know them. He also happened to be the one person who thought Marinette was just protecting the Miracle box for Ladybug.

'BigBrotherBystander' Who else could it be? The one person who knew Ladybug and Chat Noir on more friendly terms than most. Of course Faybon would get the intent right behind conversations he wasnt there for.

"What are you going to do?" Marinette looked up at Tikki as the kwami asked the question. She had to confront him right? But what should she say? And should she do it as herself or Ladybug?

Are there more kwamis who can grant holders ability to cleanse akumas?

All Alpha kwamis have the ability to manipulate positive and negative energy. So Tikki, Vitaa, Graay, and Stellar can all cleanse akumas; and Plagg, Shii, Prrysm, and Koree can all take in the corrupted energy into themselves. They are the only ones that can directly manipulate the energy of the akuma.

However few other kwamis could have their own ways with dealing with the corrupted energy of an akuma, though it wouldn't be as quick or effective as what an Alpha could do. Pollen's holders could Venom the corrupted butterfly so it couldn't move, so as long as no one else touched it the energy would naturally dissipate with time. Elementals like Longg would be able to blast it with so much force it would destroy the butterfly and let the energy spread so thin that it hopefully couldn't infect anyone else (but it would have to be scattered properly). A kwami like Roaar could probably do something similar but there would be a higher risk of the energy regathering. Some Timekeepers could manipulate time around the akuma, which could remove it as a present threat but it would have to be taken care of wherever in time it ended up. Wayzz's holders could trap it in a Shell-ter. An emotion-based kwami like Daizzi or my kwami of Hope Duux could keep up a positive environment so no one could become a target, etc.

Basically there are many possible ways a source of corrupted energy like an akuma could be dealt with, but the safest and most guaranteed way with would be with an Alpha kwami. Something like trapping it with a Shell-ter wouldn't be a permanent solution, but it could be a means to delay it spreading while a kwami like Kaalki went off to find an Alpha in the world that could take care of it.
