When it’s not explicitly stated that Miguel O’hara is also of Irish descent but he sure honored his heritage by being the Changeling of his own story. 🫠

Also shoutout to Daniel Kaluuya to all of his anti-fascist characters. We love a man who consistently represents the struggle against authoritarians.

Insider pov on Interim Agreements
“I am elated that SAG-AFTRA, my union since 2012, has now joined this righteous war against the Silicon Valley parasites who have infected AMPTP. The streaming system is on the verge of collapse, and thank God for that. The techie invasion has transformed Hollywood into a boring, algorithmic franchise factory run by metrics obsessed losers. They have adopted the broken Uber model of spending countless billions while driving themselves and everyone around then into insolvency, wages and working conditions be damned. To the average tech oligarch, everything is “content.” A movie, a TV show, a TikTok, an Amazon review, an AI generated blogpost, an Instagram reel, a song - it’s all the same. Their goal is clear: to remove humanity from the humanities, and they must be defeated by an means necessary. I am proud to march on the picket line every day for worker’s rights.”

let's talk about hobie brown real quick, bc he is a real one. he's like "fuck this, fuck that" but owns up when it matters.
when he subtly helped miles escape, then refuses to go after him and is like "nah, i'm out". or when he gave his watch to gwen just in case she needed it. or when he showed up at the end when gwen gathered her group of spiders to save miles.
also he reminds me so much of vivienne westwood/the sex pistols, the man got style!

The Tuxedo (2002)
In today's review, I find that the clothes do make the martial arts super-spy. As i attempt a #positive review of the 2002 action-family film, The Tuxedo #JackieChan #JenniferLoveHewitt #JasonIsaacs #DebiMazar #RitchieCoster #PeterStormare #MiaCottet
They say the clothes make the man, whether you believe that statement or not, a stylish suit can bring out your best qualities or in the case of some characters heighten them to the realms beyond comprehension. All while making you look cooler while doing it. In 2002, equipped with a stylish suit, Jackie Chan took his martial arts prowess to newer heights in The Tuxedo. Tong’s watch is an…

The Boys in the Boat (12): The Guy in the White Jacket is FANTASTIC.... Because it's ME!!
Follow Joe Rantz, a penniless man living in an old car in the slums of Seattle, and experience the true story of "The Boys in the Boat", directed by George Clooney. A #onemannsmovies #filmreview.
A One Mann’s Movies review of “The Boys in the Boat” (2023). “The Boys in the Boat” is going to be a tricky one for me to objectively do a Film Review for. Because, I’m actually in it! (Story below). It was originally reported way back in 2011 that this would be “Kenneth Branagh’s next film” (after Thor) but the project never developed. It moved from The Weinstein Company to MGM and fell under…

The Boys In The Boat Review- An Inspiring Sports Film With An Amazing Score By Alexander Desplat
I’ve seen a lot of sports movies in my day. Most of them have been based on true stories or biopics. George Clooney has even directed one himself before, Leatherheads. The Boys In the Boat is his second sports film he has directed, but he didn’t start in this one. It’s another inspirational sports film that follows a lot of the tropes of sports films in the past. Joe Rantz (Callum Turner) is a…
