she'd been on her way to weekly family dinner when something caught her eye. so despite wearing a dress and being told to show up presentable, daphne had found herself in a tree. her bag was balanced carefully beside her as she fumbled around for her binoculars. she knew that one of these days, she'd land herself into an unexpected situation. but as her bag slipped from that tree branch and went tumbling towards the ground, daphne didn't think today would be that day.

she watched as it fell, just barely missing someone as it hit the ground with a loud thud. "shit," she hissed, one hand hooking on the branch as she launched herself forward. "shit, shit, shit. i'm sorry! i'm coming, i'm sorry!" daphne's feet hit the ground first, and then she was stumbling backwards, her backside landing in a patch of grass just beside her fallen bag. it wasn't the first time she'd landed on her ass, and it wouldn't be the last.

it took her a moment to recover before she was looking up, her head tipping back fully so she could meet her near-victim's gaze. "i am so sorry," she breathed, scrambling into a more upright position so she could gather the things that had scattered around the grass. "i didn't hit you, did i? did i hit you? do you need to be seen by a doctor or anything? i have heavy shit in this bag and..." she paused and finally stood, getting a better look at the stranger's face. "are you okay?"

While watching the Scooby Doo movies.

Uhm.

May I offer WH x Scooby Doo? Imagine all the cartoony shenanigans lmao. I think this is gonna be more of a joke AU, don't take it too srsly lmao. I pretty much grew up on Scooby Doo, spefically Mystery Incorporated. ANYWAY ROLES ✨ also their designs are more based on their old cartoons lol.

Wally is Fred. Cmon. It's the best choice

Frank is Velma. Smart people.

Now here is where I struggled a bit lol. Eddie is Shaggy. Ur probably like "what". Now here me out :') or dont. I sorta was just like "...yeah it works enough." Now that I think about it, their sorta similar (at least in my HC) so ye. Besides shaggy being obsessed with food and best friend being a dog.

And Barns is Scooby. This was more of me being lazy lol. and, instead of him like only being Wally's best friend, or in Scooby do context, Eddie's best friend, he's kinda just- with everyone lol.

And I think that's it for the main gang. I'm still figuring out Poppy, Howdy, and Sally, but I think I'll make them these wannabe villains lmao (especially Sally) anyway have some doodles

I couldn't help but make a silly chase lmao. It's like- one of the most iconic things about Scooby Doo lmao.

Anyway, in Sally's case, I think she's like the main 'monster', being the greatest actor and all lmao. I think Poppy would be the costume maker, and Howdy would probably be their planner lol.

Ignore the fact another doodle is coming in but like- :D iconic moment in Scooby Doo as WH.

daphne knew how annoying she could be sometimes. the rate at which people saw her coming and immediately left was higher than it needed to be, and while she knew that she could be making changes to prevent that from happening, she was so stuck in her own ways it felt like a moot point. but when it came to leo, she tried extra hard not to go off on a string of tangents; it was a work in progress, but at least she was trying. she carried a milkshake in each hand as she weaved in and out of tables to reach her friend. the cafe was extra busy today, person after person flooding through the door and leaving little to no space for anything else. at this point, daphne was just glad she’d managed to snag a booth in the back, spreading things out so as to claim every spot until leo had gotten there. the blonde is seemingly out of breath as she makes it to the booth, barely dodging a few shoulders as she set those milkshakes down. 

“holy shit it’s a nightmare in here today,” she mutters, setting one glass down in front of leo as her other hand cleared off some space. “i got you your favorite. i figure if you’re willing to endure a saturday at the crashdown, the least i could do is get you a treat of some sort.”

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

I will add a prompt list to this blog soon but again feel free to request other scenarious. Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

How this will work

Once submissions are closed, the first round will commence, the family elimination round. I'll tag it #family elimination. Depending on the traction/interest this has received I'll either set the polls for a day or a week, and will be to eliminate family or closely connected characters from competing against each other. The only two families I know of currently in this round are the Blythes (Anne of Green Gables) and the Weasleys (Harry Potter). If you're submitting characters where there are multiple redheads in the family, please make a note of this in the submission. I may also eliminate multiples in the same fandom depending on how many submissions we have, also in this round. (e.g. there are two DC characters currently listed).

After that, I'll set up the brackets and whatnot and the ultimate redhead will, by process of elimination, be chosen!

After it's over, there will also be a redheaded OCs round (can be fandom OCs or from original stories). Feel free to submit your interest at any time and I'll keep the ask in my inbox until we get to handling the OC round with a proper template for information about them. If you submit OCs to the main bracket without clarification they will be deleted or put in the main bracket.
