A question I have just recently,

can Sebek handle spicy?

this is what i generally think of fae.

tho i think,

lilia knows spicy spices from his travel.

even tho in dragon form, malleus breathes fire from his mouth, and fire is hot, it might be like the kind of fire that doesn't hurt him in the first place

sebek father might bring spicy spice from human world with him, but since i think of him as a mellow man, he might not be interested in spicy food in the first place

Something I loved from the anime adaptation on episode 5:

They made a summary about Mick's and Kuro's characters and relationship from what they saw in this two panels on the few seconds this scene taked place.

Just this. Kuro and Mick both surprised on the first. Kuro looking at Mick like he's worried about something, and Mick eating bread in silence, looking in distrust at the guy.

The anime makes it so rich on subtle expressions, I'm in love here. They're just on the background of the scene. But what they do says really a lot about them.

When the guy first comes to scene, Mick looks a bit confused but nothing else. "Who tf this guy?" They're not planing on paying him any mind.

When he sits besides him, he gets uncomfortable, you can see it on his face he doesn't want to sit beside a stranger. He wants to get up and change places. "What's with this guy? What does he want? Why is he so close?" Kuro notices this and looks at him. He saw him flinch (off camera because guy is covering him). Mick is scared of this guy.

Mickbell is a naturally untrusty person because of his backstory. He gets uncomfortable when new people starts acting friends because "well that can't mean good, can it?" Kuro knows this because they share a life together and proceeds to try and calm him the best he can in this situation.

Kuro puts his hands on Mick's back. He already has them there when the camera changes angles. "I got you. I'm here. Nothing is going to happen to you. Calm down." Mick now looks confused at the guy, but it's still clear he's very uncomfortable there. He leans towards Kuro a bit "I feel safer by your side and this guy is wierd".

In seconds, as soon as he sees him grab food from their table, he changes his mood. He jumps in surprise at the audacity. He's now annoyed and pissed. That's their food! How dares he... But he isn't the one to say anything, and from this alone you could tell he's quite introverted outside of their friends group (or that he didn't pay for the food idk). Kuro keeps his hands in there, knowing he's nervous.

Mick just looks at him eat, annoyed, maybe angry, and silent. He isn't probably paying any mind to what this guy is saying. He is stealing food. He should go get food somewhere else. Kuro seems to think something alike, but he is a bit surprised this guy has the balls to steal food so openly (he isn't paying atention either ot he doesn't understand)

He thinks a lot of thinks but says none, eating in silence. Kuro is staring with no good intentions behind those eyes. Only murder. Food robber. Mick disturber. Deserves death.

aventurine isn’t the one falling first…its ratio guys!! Aventurine holds his cards close to his chest, so of course he’d also hold his feelings inside too. No matter how transparent he seems, it’s just a front so people can feel more comfortable with him. However, ratio doesn’t hide his feelings. His feelings are known, whether it’s discomfort or approval. Have you actually seen aventurine show genuine emotions such as sadness besides his cocky attitude he shows to Sunday, the trailblazer, etc? Ratio would fall first, of course he’d be a bit disgruntled, but he would get over it slowly and learn to accept it in time. Aventurine, the actually more closed off one, would take longer to even think of ratio as a close confident, much less a lover. Aventurine has trust issues guys!! And as much as I love blushy aventurine and stoic ratio I feel like it’s way more deep than that ✨✨

Why, yes, I am thinking about Halsin and Astarion slipping into speaking patterns that fell out of fashion 200+ years ago, and when speaking to each other, it becomes an eclectic mix of centuries old slang they pull out of nowhere, standard fantasy speak, pieces they picked up along the way, and "shit's wild, bro".

Bonus points, for more fun, if they have different threads of different old speaking patterns because they come from two different places.

I just feel so passionately about Gale being absolutely excellent at pre-rehearsed romantic lines, planned romantic gestures, beautiful thoughtful gifts etc. but also being the sort of person who would accidentally insult your mother on a two hour long infodumping rampage, who would accidentally wound you to the core and not notice it or you being angry about it for a good day and yes, the sort of person who would see a crown of extreme power beyond most mortal reaches and fuck you with a far off look in his eye as he definitely thinks about himself in that crown the whole time

I do think this parallel helps contextualize why Claudia's offer is there in the narrative beyond just characterization "she knows this is a loss the boys have experienced, and there is possible room to convince them," or beyond "I doubt they're going to bring Harrow back fully (if at all) so why tease it" and well: I think this parallel is exactly why.

For starters, there's the sheer difference in presentation that help to contrast and compare Callum and Claudia as characters. More importantly for next season, I think, is that it ties together Claudia wanting to save her father is what led to her working with Aaravos in the first place versus Callum wanting to free Rayla's parents likely being something that is just going to put him further on Aaravos' dark path of destiny for him, if not outright lead to disaster. The road to ruin is paved with good intentions, after all - even if he's being selfless about it because it's not even for himself or one of his direct loved ones, but purely by proxy

I don't even know how to describe the insanity of accidentally discussing the concept of minions in dreams, or worse, minions being escaped dreams or nightmares who REJOICE and scream in delight when Dream returns, rushing over and hugging his legs shouting "Boss!!" and "It's BOSS" and "Boss LA RETURNA" or some other form of gibberish.
