I think I need to write a Sith Obiwan, he needs a Sith name though, I think in a universe where Obi-wan fell to the dark side it goes one of two ways; option one: he fell after Quigons death and he killed Maul and just never returned to the Order. Option two has two possibilities: either he fell to the dark side after he killed Anakin on Mustafar and realized it was the fault of the Jedi that this happened and how corrupt they were. Possibility two is very similar in that Anakin realizes he’s attacked Padme and thinks he killed her so he turns his lightsaber on himself, Padme later lives long enough to deliver but when she’s told Anakin is dead she looses the will to live and Obi-wan is completely lost and picked up by Palpatine or maybe he kills Palpatine and he takes the name Darth Solitus, drawing from the Latin word “Solitus” meaning “alone” or “solitary” and I think it definitely reflects on the solitude and emotional detachment that characterizes Obi-wand Jedi personae. Yes I actually like Yoda and Obi-Wan a lot but they were certainly behaving in a very cold and pragmatic way when it came to Luke and Leia in the original trilogy.

Yoda´s comment about "another" after ObiWan said Luke was their "last hope" is very clear, Luke and Leia are twins, they have the same potential as Anakin´s children and given how strong Sidious and Vader were, in fact they were supposed to be invincible together and that´s why neither Obi-Wan or Yoda tried to engage them in combat for 20 years, waiting for the twins to grow up, that was the whole point.

This is why they were willing to lie to Luke about his paternity and to hide Vader´s real self.

They also weren´t playing around, they evidently didn´t plan to tell Luke if Yoda tried to die before confirming to Luke what Vader told him, they didn´t expect Vader to recognize his child and try to get him on his side on the basis that he is his child because they thought he was completely lost to the dark side and didn´t care about his child anymore and it´s also why Luke tells Obi-Wan he can´t kill his own father to which Obi-Wan answers "Then the Emperor has already won the fight" some fans try to argue about them preparing Luke to talk to Anakin but the context is clear that they wanted Luke to kill Vader and if he failed they had Leia.

I am not denying Obi-Wan and even Yoda cared about them both in their own way but they were also trying to use them as weapons agaisn´t their biological father and the Emperor, they are not evil characters but they are not supposed to be in the right either, their view is pragmatic and cold, they are willing to turn child agaisn´t father to make them kill each other just like the Emperor because they are still operating under the idea that this is a war and sacrifices must be made, which curiously was the same thing the Emperor wanted, imagine the two wisest Jedi master and the Sith master were in agreetment when it came to Luke and Vader.

So when Luke refused to follow his masters orders, when he didn´t listen to the Emperor, when he offered an olive branch to his father and asked for his help, getting it because there was something of Anakin still living there, under Vader´s surface, when all this happened, this made Luke the uncontested hero of the original trilogy, not because he was powerful but because he was merciful, like his sister was, like his grandmother and like his father used to be, he is a jedi like his father before him indeed.

Might be weird ask…but I had a scene idea after rewatching the Morris Ark.

Imagine Maul and Obi are sleeping in bed. When Maul has a nightmare that wakes both of them up. where he sees glimpses of his canon counterpart. Maybe seeing the rivalry between Obiwan and Maul, how it begins, how it evolves, and how it ends on tattoinne.

Or maybe he just sees flashes the miserable life his canon self lives.

How’d Maul react to seeing something like that?

I mean, canonically he is a seer, so he might be able to have visions of, like, what could have been.

He would probably just take it as encouragement to keep on the path he is currently, and fight his own dark side so he might never fall!

it was gloomy today, and it matched anakin’s mood. dark clouds matched his dark demeanor as he sat in the most boring of council meetings. the truth was, anakin was tired of the order. he often found himself in important meetings, thinking of you. the life you could live if he could just get AWAY. he thought about the house you’d have, the hills it’d be on, the forest that’d be near by. the planet. the places. the people. experiencing all of it with you. that’s what he couldn’t wait for, that’s what he worked tirelessly for.

“general skywalker, any thoughts?” master windu spoke up, interrupting anakin’s thoughts, annoying him.

“no, sir,” was all anakin said. “everything is in place in the utapau system.” he finished. master windu nodded, acknowledging anakin’s answer. the rest of the council continued to speak amongst themselves, going back to ignoring anakin. he didn’t mind though. more time to indulge in fantasy, imagine the life he wanted to build with you.

he felt a weird tug out of the door. down the hall. out the temple. he turned and looked behind him, seeing nothing there. he felt uneasy in his stomach, nervous. but it felt like they weren’t HIS emotions. for a brief moment, he sat dumbfounded, until he realized he was connecting with you when he heard you whining. it sounded distant, muffled, like underwater. he had an almost tunnel like vision and things began to blur. as master windu droned on, anakin nervously side eyed the door. he considered making a run for it, and truthfully just as he was about to, obiwan spoke up.

“masters, while i see the importance of this meeting, i must say it seems we’ve reached an impasse. might i suggest we take a short recess and reconvene in an hour?” he suggested gently, everyone nodding and agreeing amongst themselves. anakin silently thanked obiwan and hoped he got the message, as he didn’t stick around to find out. at the dismissal, anakin was running out of the door to you. his entire trek home was filled with thoughts of you, worrying about you, hoping you were okay.

as he got closer to home, it began down pouring. anakin could hear the thunder and see the lightning and knew this was a bad storm. no wonder you were scared!

back at the house, you sat in the small sensory tent your daddy set up for you in the corner of the bedroom. you held onto your stuffed teddy bear and sobbed at every loud crack of thunder. you couldn’t see ten feet in front of you due to the rain so you couldn’t even really look outside to see how bad the storm was. all you saw was darkness and rain, and it was barely afternoon.

another especially loud crack of thunder rang through the apartment, making you cry out. you hadn’t even heard your daddy come in but he had most definitely heard your sobs. he immediately rushed in, completely soaked from head to toe, not caring in the slightest. he just needed to get to his baby.

“baby, baby i’m here. daddy’s here.” he said, taking his cloak off so he wasn’t as wet when he went to touch you. he began rubbing your arms to try to calm you. “please open your eyes, daddy’s here.” he told you. you did just that and opened your eyes to the welcoming sight of your smiling daddy, ready to help however he could. you sighed in relief.

“daddy, i was so scared! i can handle small storms but this one is so loud!” you cried, hands over your ears. your daddy put his hands over yours, holding your face and making you look at him.

“i know, baby, this is a bad storm. it’s the rain season but even for the usual storms, you’re right, this one’s bad.” he agreed. you began to slow breathe to try to calm down. “good girl, all by yourself, i’m so proud of you.” your daddy told you, smiling. you felt much better and wiped your tears.

“daddy, you’re all wet.” you observed. he laughed and nodded.

“i ran all the way here, baby.” he said

“for me, daddy?” you asked and he smiled.

“always for you, baby. always.”

they're best friends, they're brothers, they're soulmates, they're "complementary halves” of a whole, they're obsessed with each other, they’re in love with each other, they’re intertwined in ways that i cannot explain, every single aspect of each of them is tied to the other!!!!!

so basically, anakin is obi-wan’s apprentice, obi-wan practically raised him, and is the one who taught him the jedi ways. they’ve been alongside each other since anakin was a kid. as they get older, they become incredibly close and i shit u not, this is what is canonically said about them:

to two jedi who fight side by side like equals (well, kinda equals at least)

Bamf Sith obiwan after Satine's death plot bunny

What if Obi-Wan did fall when Satine was killed.

What if he had actually made it to the cell and had fallen there because there wasn't anyone or anything to distracted him from his thoughts and grief.

Imagine in obi fell and when maul came to check on him, obi absolutely destroys him. I mean like full on made him explode. But not without playing with him a little. Like I really want Maul to realize just how much he fucked up.

And then when Palpatine arrived, he destroys Palpatine.

Now Imagine if he takes Palpatine and Maul's sabers to the temple, proves Palpatine was the sith lord they've been after all along and then begs them to kill him, to allow him to join Satine. He shows up in beskar armour and yellow tearful eyes. However, he ends up actually coming back to the light when he begs for death and anakin just hold him. Anakin's light and love for him overpowering the darkness in his heart.

Obi gets put under house arrest and starts the healing process, with Cody, Anakin and Ahsoka there to help along the way.

The council decides to allow him stay in the order because he didn't do anything dark per say except for draw out mauls death a little. He fell, killed two sith lord and came back and turned himself in.

Years later, he tells youngling of how he had fallen when his lover was killed by a sith but his love for his padawan brought him back to the light.

I like to think looking at the emperor’s force signature would be blinding. Of course it would be dark beyond imagining but it would also be haloed with the most brilliant light like a black hole.

So dark and so all consuming that the light of the universe bends around it and shines a billion times as bright in comparison .

Where Vader’s is a constant tremulous storm Sidious is a black void in direct contrast to the light sided nature of the galaxy.

Obiwan said the force is like turning on a light. So to the Jedi who have basked in the light of the force all their lives Sidious is an eclipse. A shadow with the sun at his back.

I love how Jedi can see others in the force I just wish it was described more. I want to see it :(

Hi Sinful! Feel a bit bad asking for this when you maybe meant more romantic stuff but do you have any headcanons for Obi Wan caring for Anakin? It's almost as sweet as Dad Vader.

Yes!!! Baby Ani and Obi-Daddy. Okay we all know Anakin adored ObiWan, dare I say in the novels and movies he was just as clingy to his master as he was to Padme. Maybe it wasn't canonically romantic but the bond they shared had to of blossomed somewhere sometime and I got a few HCs as to how that happened.

Master Qui-Gon asked him to teach the boy. Obi-Wan vowed to do so. Even if he resorted to leaving the Jedi temple and The Order. Thankfully that didn't have to happen. As he had a rather clingy Padawan who was notorious for sneaking into the kitchens.

Anakin, he understood, due to his previous environment and upbringing, was a total brat at times. The shock of finally being free, having to leave his mother behind and learning the force all within a short time can't have been easy. It wasn't but Obi-Wan was determined to make it as comfortable as possible. The first night was the hardest with Anakin. Leaving Tatooine for good to live in a strange new world surrounded by people he didn't quite understand left him crying during dinner. It was Obi-Wan who sat the boy on his lap and held him close. Promising things would get better.

Baths and sonic showers were..... interesting. The first bath ObiWan drew for Anakin (thinking it was the best method to coax the boy into regular cleaning) he watched as Anakin's eyes lit up to a full tub of warm water. The boy reached for a wash cloth and began to wipe at his hands and arms, claiming to be done with a big grin on his face. Imagine the look on Ani's face when ObiWan asked about the rest of him, jokingly. Knowing he got toys, warm water and soap, actual soap, followed by a warm soft towel wrap was all it took for Anakin to ask when his next bath was.

Food was tricky as well. Anakin had grown up with whatever Shmi had on her plate. Often he admitted to stealing food for her and him. ObiWan knew this would be a complicated hurdle and he wasn't wrong. Even after being told countless times he was allowed to eat and drink until he felt full, ObiWan would find food stashed away in Anakin's bedroom. Saved for later, or for if they ran out. ObiWan never made Anakin feel as if he was stupid or a thief for stealing. ObiWan made sure to include Anakin in meal prepping and planning and introduced the boy to baked sweets so Anakin could grasp he was in control of how much food there was in their quarters and how he was welcomed to it at any time. Anakin would grow a fondness to tea but only in ObiWan's lap because he found it made him sleepy and he didn't want to spill it. ObiWan knew all of Anakin's favorite meals and made sure to have them on their meal plan often.

Nightmares are normal for children to have. But for Jedis, it was peculiar. Most of Anakin's horrible dreams stemmed from him loosing Master Qui-Gon and he feared loosing ObiWan next. Each morning ObiWan found Anakin asleep on the floor next to his bed. This, ObiWan was clueless how to put an end to. Still, he persisted. No scary holos or novels before bed for starters and light meditation after a bath to soothe his mind. It helped but it wasn't the cure. When ObiWan was lucky to still be awake as Anakin came running into his room crying, the Master took his Padawan into his arms for an embrace. Their bond surrounding them like a frenzy of chaos melting into calm. "My dearest Ani. I'm here, dear one. I am not going anywhere." ObiWan would hush into his ear while stroking the short braid of dark blonde on Anakin's head. Even as the years went by such a moment of peace would always calm Anakin down.

Anakin may have came off as a cocky brat to other Masters or a show off to other Padawans, but he was ObiWan's pride and joy. ObiWan would be damned if Anakin laid his head down wondering if his master disliked him or was dissapointed in him. In a way it was quite bittersweet for the duo as everything ObiWan did for Anakin, he learned through Qui-Gon. In a way, the young master liked to hink he was keeping Qui-Gon's memory alive by tending to Anakin.

After reading himboskywalker​‘s masterpiece Let me be that I am I’m now thinking of fitting my high stakes, ansgty mpreg Vaderwan reunion ✨imagine✨ into their universe somehow (with some huge liberties & way less professionalism oops) ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

E.g.,

Omega Anakin and and Alfa Obiwan are partnered and very much in love, and Anakin has recently begun having heats again - although he knows he cannot conceive (due to damage from his suppressor implant).

However political tensions are brewing and Palpatine is quickly working on brainwashing Anakin to turn to the dark side, fostering deep mistrust between him and Obiwan. This even includes convincing him that Obiwan is repulsed by him because he cannot provide children & is having affairs with other Omegas.

Anakin and Obiwan become estranged as Anakin pledges himself to the Sith, and Palpatine knights him Darth Vader.

Then this happens (thanks to Wikipedia): Vader assassinates the Separatist leaders on Mustafar, while Palpatine/Sidious declares himself Emperor before the Galactic Senate, transforming the Republic into the Galactic Empire, and denounces the Jedi as traitors.

NOTE: Vadar doesn’t kill any younglings in this universe, but he does become completely ruthless and unbeatable in battle, and is very mean and nasty to everyone 🤫

The Jedi flee and Vadar stays in the city, at the full height of his Sith powers. However, he’s not sure if this feeling he has of being physically out of balance is part of the dark side, or something else. His last heat took place about 2 months ago - things were not good between him & Obiwan, but they still had sex (it’s fairly unavoidable for a mated pair during heat).

He is checked over by the Empire’s healers and discovered to be pregnant, with twins 🥺 His Omega hormones try their hardest to pull through, urging him to find his Alfa. Sidious works extra hard to convince Vadar that Obiwan must have known he was pregnant and had purposefully abandoned him and the babies since he was dissatisfied with him. The deep sadness fuels his Sith power so Sidious continues to feed him lies.

During Vadar’s pregnancy Sidious continues to train him in harnessing the dark side, encouraging him to be more ruthless and brutal. He attends Empire events and even various missions/battles into his second trimester, but eventually Sidious enforces that he rest & gather strength on world. Sidious is secretly holding out hope that he will be able to create even more powerful Sith leaders in Vadar’s children. He is also wary of the Jedi finding out about the pregnancy and using this against them.

During this time, the exiled Jedi are engaged in various battles across the growing Empire, but hope is waining as they are so greatly outnumbered. Obiwan (who does not know that Vadar is pregnant with his children) has been desperately pushing for a mission to rescue Vadar since they fled, but news of his Sith brutality in battle has spread, and it is decided by the majority that he is too dangerous and a lost cause - not that this stops Obiwan fighting for it.

At the beginning of his third trimester, seeing that Vadar’s omega hormones are reaching their peak, Sidious attempts to break any remaining bond between him and Obiwan, and tells him the lie that Obiwan was killed in battle. He also hopes that more pain will fuel his power. Vadar is secretly devastated, despite having already believed Obiwan had abandoned him. Sidious is pleased to see that he becomes even more powerful in the dark side than he even thought possible. He is now just hoping that the birth will be as smooth and confidential as possible.

HOWEVER, during an intel mission to the Empire base, a Jedi crew (not including Obiwan) cross paths with Vadar (who is full term) and are shocked to see that he’s pregnant. They manage to capture him somehow (???????) and bring him back to the Jedi base.

NOTE: I have no ideas around how this capture goes. This part of the imagine is V hazy. Vadar would have to be asleep or compromised in some way to be able to be captured. But not in labour yet. 🤔

Vadar in just in his robes as he was not prepared for battle. He attempts to cover his bump as much as possible - although it’s twins he carries fairly small, so it’s more or less the same size as a full-term single pregnancy bump. His eyes glow red with fury at the Jedi who’ve taken him- that he believes betrayed the Empire and abandoned him (plus allowed Obiwan to die in battle!). However, the stress of being captured has caused his body to go into labour, and he must harness the force to conceal the growing pain.

They manage to lock him in a cell, cuffing his hands with powerful restraints and locking one ankle to the floor.

NOTE: There needs to be something here that raises the stakes - i.e., Vadar grabs one of the Jedi using the force, and threatens to kill them if they don’t let him go. OR! They find out that there is an attack planned somewhere at a particular time, but they don’t know where so they can’t prepare for it. Vadar knows but he won’t tell them. And their family/friends are all in mortal danger etc, or something like that... or maybe it doesn’t need it, I dunno...

Vadar has been in his cell for several hours now and his labour is starting to progress quite quickly. He’s less and less able to conceal the pain and when Jedi come in to try different interrogation methods, they realise what’s happening.

Obiwan has been off-base doing something something… another mission with other resisters. But as soon as Vadar is captured one of Obiwan’s most trusted fellow Jedi sends him an urgent transmission. They don’t mention the pregnancy as they think this news is best delivered in person.

Obiwan arrives back and rushes to the base, where the counsel of exiled Jedi leaders are frantically trying to work out what to do. He doesn’t know where Vadar is being held otherwise he would have headed straight there. Every Alfa cell in his body is screaming at him to go to his mate, despite the horrible events that have happened since they parted, and despite not knowing of his condition.

Eventually someone realises Obiwan doesn’t know yet, and tries to deliver the news as calmly as possible - that Vadar appears to be very pregnant and currently in labour in his cell (and he is the only hope they have to defuse an attack being planned on the Jedi - tbc, stakes…)

Obiwan explodes and insists to be let in. They all discourage this saying Vadar is too dangerous and he will probably kill him on sight, he isn’t responding to any reasoning, or letting anyone get near him (including medics). He’s already injured multiple people by slamming them against the wall or chocking them with the force just for stepping in. Obiwan will not back down, he demands to go in and says he will cop whatever consequences result - that if Vadar isn’t responding to anything else, Obiwan is their only hope (haha). They finally concede, and take him to Vadar’s cell.

Some other Jedi are in their trying in vein to question Vadar, and dodging his force attacks - when Obiwan enters. They do not see him clearly and the tussling continues until Obiwan cuts through with a very clear “Anakin”.

Vadar freezes, breathless. The other’s aren’t sure what to do. Obiwan tells them to take off his hand and leg cuffs. They object and try to explain what they’ve been doing and how dangerous Vadar is but Obiwan booms “Off!” So they comply. “Out. Everyone. Now!” He says, and the officers rush out, leaving the two alone.

Now, my ideas for this section are:

- Vadar is sitting on a bench in the cell - like Grogu’s bench (even tho that’s an empire bench I guess), and has his robes wrapped around him with his hood on.

- Internally, Vadar wants to drop everything and throw himself at Obiwan, but the brainwashing by Sidious has been so thorough that he puts on a cold front. He cruelly taunts Obiwan, and when Obiwan replies with nothing but truth, concern and apologies, he starts accusing him of lying and abandoning him. In the midst of this he has several very strong contractions which halt proceedings and make Obiwan extremely worried. However Vadar won’t accept medical attention from the Jedi as he suspects they will use it as a chance to attack him.

- Vadar’s scent is sweet and intoxicating with young pregnant Omega, but with overpoweringly strong notes of pain and distress - from both his physical pain and the pain of the dark side. The result is like a dagger twisting in Obiwan’s chest.

- Obiwan begins to realise the extent of Sidious’ brainwashing. He explains that he never meant to abandon him - cheated with anyone, he has never wanted to be with any other Omega but him, and if that meant not having children he was completely happy to accept that. The closer Obiwan approaches the stronger his protective Alfa scent is to Vadar. Obiwan begins to make progress.

- Vadar says Obiwan must have been glad to be rid of him since he never tried to come back once the Jedi fled. Obiwan explains he has tried every single day to launch a rescue mission, but the majority wouldn’t support due to Vadar’s power. He is deeply ashamed he wasn’t able to rescue him, and his voice becomes an alfa growl as he apologises for not finding a way to go alone. He says he too was a victim of Sidious’ brainwashing, in that he thought Vadar didn’t want to be mates to him anymore - and that he was more interested in learning the ways of the dark side. Vadar denies that this was the case, but he is becoming more and more at the whim of his Omega biology. He has a huge contraction and almost falls apart. Obiwan wants to support him but still isn’t sure he has regained his trust, and uses all his restraint to stay at a respectful distance whilst Vadar groans and writhes under the pain. The omega distress scent filling the room is making this almost impossible.

- Obiwan kneels down and becomes tender - continuing to use the name Anakin, and summons all his Alfa abilities to assure him. He tells Anakin that he is his one and only mate. (Or something like this).

- The redness starts to fade slightly from Anakin’s eyes. He is overwhelmed by the instinctual omega urge to submit and accept his mate - and exhausted from labour. He finally reveals to Obiwan that Sidious said he’s been killed. Obiwan is disgusted. He asks when? Anakin says only a couple of months ago, that up until then he had been secretly hoping every day that Obiwan would return to him, but once Sidious said that, that part of him died forever.

- Obiwan is silent with fury. He collects himself as Anakin has another contraction, he is moaning openly now and shifting like he almost needs to start pushing. Obikin has initially wanted to believe it was his child, but then told himself it mustn’t be. He reasons it’s likely the work of Sidious organising for Anakin to be bred & create more Sith to further the chosen one lineage. He must have put Anakin through some terrible breading process to this end, as they both knew Anakin had such a small chance of conceiving after his suppressant implant.

- “You may have to allow the medics to help you very soon” suggests Obiwan gently, daring to place his hand on Anakin’s belly wrapped up protectively in robes. As though reading his thoughts (which he may well be doing), Anakin places his hand over Obiwan’s and tells him “they’re yours”. Under his hood his tired eyes lock with Obiwan’s, they’re not almost completely blue again. Obiwan is floored, he finally loses his composure and makes a sound that he didn’t know he could make. Then he realises - “they?”. “It’s twins” says Anakin, almost at a whisper.

- Obiwan can no longer hold his Alfa urges at bay, he lets out a cry and envelopes Anakin in a desperate embrace that goes no way close to expressing the joy and amazement he feels, paired with shame and regret in learning this news so late. Had he known Anakin was pregnant (with their children!) he would have flown into the empire base himself and single-handedly rescued him. Anakin clings to Obiwan in response, his breath rapid and raspy, and after a moment Obiwan feels the rhythm of his crying. “Anakin, I’m so sorry - I don’t deserve you” Obiwan can only repeat. They are a tangle of limbs and emotions on the cell bench. He pulls back slightly to removed Anakin’s hood. His brow is drenched with sweat from the pain. Obiwan brushes the tears that streak from his blue eyes.

- Suddenly Anakin’s expression changes, and another moment later he’s buckled over clutching his stomach, crying out in agony as another contraction takes hold. This is the worst one Obiwan has seen - he holds onto Anakin’s hand (which Anakin returns with a bone bracing grip), but he feels utterly useless to offer any assistance. There is a very sharp, sweet note of anise in Anakin’s omega scent, which Obiwan understands meant imminent birth.

- “I think we should bring in the medics” he tells Anakin, trying to remain as calm as possible. Anakin looks at him helplessly “you promise they won’t attack me?”. Obiwan wants to cry at how strong Anakin’s protective instincts are despite everything he’s been through. He gathers all the Alfa strength he can; “I give you my word as your Alfa. I will make sure no-one harms you or our children”. He holds Anakin’s eyes, and he finally concedes.

Just imagine what will happen...when Afo shows up on the battlefield in UA, taking All Might with him! Gotta wipe the old hero's feet, don't you think? And when it turns out that Afo is Hisashi in UA; (I think the moment he shows up, Aizawa’s erasing could stop Eri's quirk) What will happen to Izuku? What if it turns out that Yoichi and the other vestiges knew but kept quiet about it? What if Toshinori knew (guessed) that Izuku was Afo's son, but thought it didn't mean anything - they're different worldviews? In these cases, it turns out that the OFA and All Might lied to Izuku, kept him in the dark... so that he would kill his father 👀

Personally I dont think all might has any clue that izuku is afos son, because as much as I love all might, sometimes he isnt the brightest bulb out there 😂

And for me it would be way more interesting to see the reaction of EVERYONE finding out the truth at the same time. Just imagine all mights completly shocked face and him mumbling "it cant be" while he stares shell shocked at the computer monitore. Also the drama between all might and izukus relationship the reveal could bring.

The only people I think who know about the parentage are the vestiges, espicially yoichi and if izuku finds out that they keept this a secret from him, because they want him to kill his own father, he will feel terrible betrayed and may even lash out to them for using him as a weapon. Who knows maybe izuku will also shut ofa down for a while. Like the vestiges want to talk to him, but he completly shuts them out, because he is so angry with them, he refuses to listen to them. It would parallel obiwan and yoda not telling luke about his parentage, because they wanted him to kill vader and luke feeling betrayed and only later he searches for answers from them.

I dont think all might will be kidnapped (thats inkos destiny 😉), but I really want to know if nighteyes vision of the future about all mights death will become true. He said that an other villain then afo will kill all might and while Im 50:50 about the chances that all might will die, I think that person nighteye saw was eventually afomura. Not all for one, but also not shigaraki, an entire new being. Or maybe he saw dabi destroying all mights stature and simply misinterpretet what he saw.

I also thought about the possebility that eris quirk in afo will be stopped as soon as he shows up in ua, because monoma will most likely try to stop him using any quirks and that would include eris quirk. Thats how afo will survive. But while I think this is the most likely scenario, I hope for something else. We both believe in the theory that izuku has his own afo quirk, right? What if, after izuku realizes his father is about to die from eris quirk, he panics and searchs for a way to get that quirk out of him? And thats how his own afo quirk awakens? Because he wants to save his dad! And by that he puts himself in harms way, because eris quirk would kill HIM instead, so afo also panics and we get a dramatic "pulling fight" between father and son, with izuku telling him, that we wants him to come home or something like that 😢

I dont think that will happen, but I would love something like this. I even thought about writing a one shot about it, but Im so damn lazy right now 🤣

i loved the whole “this is a tomb” aspect of the inquisitorius. we saw in rebels that the grand inquisitor had luminara’s desecrated body and was using it to draw in jedi, which is horribly dark but such a good tactic to help them wipe out more jedi. so i just wish they’d gone a little bit darker with the jedi bodies we saw in kenobi.

imagine if they actually had the blaster bolts or lightsaber cuts on their bodies. or if obiwan saw a body that was missing parts, burned, clearly having gotten caught in an explosion of some kind. imagine if some of the bodies were more desecrated like luminara’s. or for jedi who were captured alive, if they bore signs of torture that they went through before they were killed. what is horrible about what happened to the jedi is not just what happened during order66 but what happened after as well, and it would’ve been a nice contrast to what the Path is trying to do, and what happened to so many of the jedi who never reached that point

when I think about Obiwan Kenobi and Anakin at the end of Revenge of the sith I think about the grief and not just outer turmoil, but also the inner turmoil Obi is going through; he’s watched this little kid grow up with him from a padwan to a friend and brother and jedi to a broken shell of a sith- someone with this warped mindset of “I know more— my mind has been enlightened more than yours, so therefore I am better than you”. He’s watched not only his friend and student become unrecognizable, but also his brother.. someone he formed a true brotherhood bond with decend into a belief system of “if you aren’t with me then you are against me.”

He wrestles with the idea of only Sith’s deal in absolutes and this unspoken pleading for Anakin to not give into the darkness completely, to come back from the need to have absolutes and understand that some things are always going to linger between uncertain and questionable.

Obiwan isn’t helpless, but I imagine the grief he felt at watching someone he cared for and loved so deeply throw their entire history away with an ease like it meant nothing at all— I guess I imagine it rendered a feeling akin to helplessness. It wasn’t even ever about the higher ground for Obi either; his brother had fallen prey to a wickedness that erased his trust and belief in them both.

Obiwan’s grief and anguish is heard loud and clear in how he weeps openly in front of Anakin; grasping for any sense of understanding as to why Anakin chose the path he chose and instead of receiving understanding he’s met with the painfully broken scream of “I hate you!”

As I have no other place to vent this not fic here you go. Okay so Star Wars modern au meaning no Jedi order bullshit and lineages are family lines. Obiwan son of Qui-Gon is 23 after he’s just finish his poly sci degree. He is thriving until his dad get him involved in a mess peace’s out with shim now Obiwan has to raise his nine year old brother. Grandpa dooku is too busy and gramps yoda is too old. Anyway this is mostly about obiwan being a secret slut while pretending to be wholesome 1/2

(2/?) wholesome dad to Anikin. Ani is under the impression for year that obiwan has a tone of close friends he has sleep overs with. The illusion is broken when one of his highschool friends regonizes obiwan from their sibling/cousins grinder hook ups. (Padme, rex whoever) Quinlan give much shit for his slutty ways while raising a totally not his fault kid. To be clear Quinlan wouldn’t give him as much shit if he was actually raising and oops baby and not his fathers bastard(?)

Okay, let’s shift a few things to streamline this:

I can’t imagine Shmi would peace out with Qui-Gon unless there was like. Significant nonsense going on? So I’m going to say that Anakin came to whatever modern Coruscant is on some kind of children’s study visa and Shmi stayed behind in whatever the Tatooine equivalent is. He was going to stay with Qui-Gon for the study abroad program, but:

Qui-Gon got invited to give some kind of botanical bioengineering speech overseas, and then got arrested for ??? reasons. I’m going to say there was nude environmentalist protesting going on.

Anakin’s visa got... weird. Tatooine entered a period of civil conflict so nobody can fly from Coruscant to Tatooine, so he can’t go home, and Obi-Wan panicked and signed on to have temporary custody after the visa expires because obviously Qui-Gon’s going to be home soon, right? RIGHT?

Dooku is on House Arrest on the other side of the city (Serreno Neighborhood) and it’s okay to leave Anakin at his house for a few hours here and there but actually living there is. Um. Well, the feds would get involved.

Yoda is at an old folk’s home in the same town as Obi-Wan’s university (he’s doing grad school) that he regularly escapes from via the windows and Obi-Wan is going to commit a murder on instinct the next time he walks into his kitchen at 5AM to find Yoda sitting there in the dark. He’s going to throw something. Shapeless quiet horrors in the wee hours aren’t comforting, great-grandfather!

Anakin’s new best friend is the toddler next door, Ahsoka (Plo Koon’s foster daughter), because she likes to wander into the garage where Anakin’s working on Cool Science Things to ask questions about things she doesn’t understand. Given that she’s four, there’s a lot that she doesn’t understand.

Obi-Wan stares forlornly at what was once a pancake but is now nothing more than a burnt crisp. It’s not that he’s a bad cook, it’s just that he’s easily distracted. And that’s not even his fault! Anakin is very distracting.

“I don’t think we can eat that,” Anakin observes, standing on the tips of his toes to stare into the pan.

You don’t say, Obi-Wan thinks wryly. He chucks the burnt lump out and pours fresh batter into the pan.

“Now,” he turns to Anakin, “I have to watch this and not play pirates.”

He pouts, “Aww, but we were just getting into it! You were about to be captured by the evil pirate king Bluer and I was going to rescue you and then we were going take over the whole ship and throw him out the airlock because he was a bad man. And then we would’ve gone and fought the rest of the evil pirate empire and make our own good pirate empire.”

“Oh?” Obi-Wan says.

“Yeah! And then we would go back to the Outer Rim and find and destroy all the Hutts! And we’d take over Jabba’s palace and make it all pretty and cosy and lovely. And it would be our base of operations for all the good pirate empire things we would do!”

Anakin puts his skinny arms around Obi-Wan’s waist and says quietly, “And we’d rescue my mom and she’d help us defeat the last of the evil pirates.”

Obi-Wan pauses, looking down at his new favourite limpet. Anakin’s mother is still a bit of a sore point. He doesn’t know how to deal with this. He still feels like a child too. They’re both just floundering around in the dark, hanging onto each other and hoping that they’re heading towards the light on the other side.

“Why couldn’t she come too?” Anakin asks into Obi-Wan’s hip.

“Only Master Qui-Gon can really answer that question,” he says carefully, “but I imagine Watto would only free one of you and your mother insisted it was you.”

“Then why haven’t we gone back for her?”

“Well,” Obi-Wan flips the pancake, “that’s more complicated. As an institution the Jedi have no authority in the Outer Rim, and we can only go where the Senate sends us. Though I want nothing more than to free your mother, to free every slave in the galaxy, it isn’t within my power to do so. Do you understand?”

Anakin is silent for a moment before nodding, “Yeah. Is that ready? Obi you’re gonna burn it!”

He quickly flips the pancake onto the plate. It’s browner than he would’ve liked but not a burnt hunk. Improvements. Maybe he’s getting the hang of this cooking while distracted thing. He hands the plate to Anakin with a bowl of berries.

“Don’t put too much syrup on that!” Obi-Wan calls after him.

“Yeah yeah.” He knows Anakin is rolling his eyes.

Such a sassy child. How did Obi-Wan end up with the sassiest nine-year-old in the galaxy? And the most berry obsessed? They keep running out of berries. Anakin eats more berries than he does chocolate. Which is criminal in Obi-Wan’s opinion. Imagine liking anything more than chocolate? Couldn’t be him. Should he put chocolate in the pancakes next time?

“You’re gonna burn it again,” Anakin says, making Obi-Wan jump.

“Right,” he mumbles, dumping the pancake onto the pile.

Obi-Wan grabs the plate and another bowl of berries to take to the table. Breakfast after a morning game of pirates, at least two hours before lunch time. He really must be getting the hang of this.

“That’s a lot of syrup,” Anakin observes.

“I am much larger than you,” Obi-Wan says, “Therefore I can have more syrup.”

Anakin sighs, sounding thoroughly put upon, “Did Healer Che tell you to eat more calorie rich foods again?”

“No,” Obi-Wan reaches over to flick his braid, “I just like syrup.”

“Liar,” Anakin says, grinning, “You’re a really bad liar Obi.”

“Shut up and eat your pancakes.”

Anakin wakes with a start, the sounds of his mother’s tears still echoing in his ears. He clutches the stuffed bantha Obi gave him tightly. Nightmares suck. He pushes his bedding to the side and tiptoes towards his door.

The door to Obi-Wan’s room is slightly open like it is every night. Anakin slips inside and creeps towards his bed. Obi is lying pressed against the wall, arm flung out across the bed.

Carefully, Anakin lifts the arms so he can slip underneath it. He pulls the covers back up and replaces Obi’s arm over his chest. He wiggles until his back is pressed to Obi’s. This is good. This is the best way to sleep.
