I'm just a mess right now. I'm vulnerable, close to being real. I'm damaged. To feel like I'm not trusted after only ever trying my best. Like the evidence I gave isn't valid. How am I meant to feel part of a team when I am not allowed to make real input, when he overrides my input. That's not teamwork. That's not respect for my skills, for my knowledge, for my experience. He acts like he wants me to be confident within myself but then with his inaction tells me he thinks I'm not worth listening to. Did he just not read what I wrote? So earlier I finished Maleficent mistress of evil and I really enjoyed the dark fae and now all I can think of is darkfae! Hobie

Darkfae! Hobie who has the prettiest black wings and horns on top of his head.

Darkfae! Hobie who’s still an anarchist and a bit of a loner who does his own thing.

Darkfae! Hobie who doesn’t necessarily hate humans but also isn’t a fan of them pushing the faces into hiding

Darkfae! Hobie who finds you in the woods by yourself taking a stroll or picking berries and is immediately drawn to you

Darkfae! Hobie who watches you in the trees silently not wanting to show himself to you in case you’ll freak out or a hunter

Darkfae! Hobie who will do this a couple of times whenever you’re in his side of the forest. He likes everything you do, he likes hearing you sing or hum to yourself

Darkfae! Hobie who ends up saving you from a wolf attack yanking you up in his lanky arms and flying you away.

Darkfae! Hobie who takes you to his nest while you’re scared shit less at first but after calming down realize he means you no harm.

Rice is not a part of the user x to be used dynamic but i do wanna talk about them.

Rice's canon trigger event was their beehive getting destroyed during a storm. They dont have parents around a lot and theyre mostly on their own as a 16 year old and the beehive was about the one thing they cared about and it caused a lot of upset. Now they can talk to their bees and the bees can understand Rice but not the other way around. Bees follow them everywhere and they may not follow orders but they seem to like Rice so they follow behind.

As for the villain AU, like Nameless said they had an incident where the hood for their bee suit got ripped off. They dont like leaving the house especially not alone and the only thing that helps them comfortably leave when necessary is their bee suit. After 3 asshole randos stopped Rice on the street to harass them about the bee suit, they ripped the hood off Rice's head and got to receive "bees in places bees should not go" and died. (Whomp whomp)

Rice immediately called Augustus and he gave them shelter, a room, a new wardrobe, all the prized jewels, riches, art everything they could ever ask for. The one thing they ever asked for was a new hat, a big one, with tassels that sparkle to hide their face. They wander the halls of Augustus's house, they will speak when spoken to first and eat every meal with the rest of the gang, to show they're still a part of the team, but they don't do many missions. And if you listen carefully when no one is around you can hear soft crying coming from the halls.

so the ocs in question are part of a Group of OCs that my friends/polycule ( @nameless-thief @beedarkfae @therealmooed @iamsusiedeltarune-blog ) have together, they were made for a system called Weaverdice which is based on the online serial Worm and tl;dr you get superpowers based on your trauma and youre also a teenaged superhero

the main two Guys™️ that this is about are trystan (my guy) and augustus (nameless-thief's guy). i was gonna make an intro post for trystan and then i forgor :( but hes this asshole guy with a deer eye whos powers are swapping places with people, which he got from a rlly bad car crash that killed his parents and forced him to lose his shot at going to the olympics. augustus is a rich slightly-less-asshole whos powers are turning into blue goo, which he got from a specific instance in a long string of being abused by his parents.

now technically the canon iteration of these guys arent the ones who get the used x to be used dynamic bc theyre currently working on not hating each other in canon.

however.

there is an au where augustus snaps and kills his parents and then goes straight into supervillainy. and that shit? it goes crazyyyy

nameless is gonna explain it better but like.....augustus becomes this mob boss type character bc he suddenly has the control that hes lacked for so long in his life. and trystans always been more of a follower, a tool, and he lacks purpose in canon which is why he lays depressed in bed in his free time. but in this au, he finds out that he really really enjoys physical violence, and augustus is there to point him at people who augustus thinks should be physically violenced. and they become ungodly and weirdly codependent with trystan hinging his entire self on Doing Things For Augustus and neither of them actually realizing the effect they have on the other. also they start dating at some point which doesnt help any of this. its a mess. i love them. augh.

I thought I was so safe with him. What am I meant to do with all this caring I have for him, when he cares nothing for me? The only thing I can do to make him happy is to stay away from him. Or be a robot and have no feelings but I can't do that right now. So I need to stay away, give him the present of my absence from his life. I want good things for him. I thought I was his friend, I thought it was a real friendship underneath everything. Was he laughing at me this whole time? Or just, just really frustrated and unhappy but still polite to me out of a desire to 'be nice'? I feel sick to my stomach. I can't sleep. How could I be so wrong, again. It just proves to me that I absolutely should not be trying to interact with humans, ever. I don't ever want to feel this pain again. It's so stupid because I did this to myself. He only said he was my friend once. The rest of the time he was just polite to me but I saw what I wanted to see. I wanted to believe that I was special to him, that he cared about me as a friend, that he valued me. So that's what I believed. All this time, I should have seen more clearly. He's just a polite guy, who didn't want to hurt my feelings by correcting me in what we were to each other. But that hurt me so much more. The dark cavernous palace was shrouded in an aura of malevolence as the Evil Queen of Darconia, Morana, sat silently on her throne, adorned with the skulls of various creatures, their macabre grins seeming to mock the trembling peasant.

The blood of the kings dropped from the spines attached to the throne, crippling the fearlessness of those who dared to set foot in her foreboding lair. The man’s pleas, “M-my queen, spare me, I beg for your humble mercy” were abruptly silenced by a crack of thunder.

With a flick of her finger, the peasant dared not continue. "Mercy," she scoffed in her sultry, honey-like voice, her words dripping with malice. She stood from her throne, the ghoul guards awaiting her command to rip the peasant to shreds. However, on this particular day, she felt an uncharacteristic sense of generosity.

Her aura seemed to shift, and she crooned, "I smell fear. Do not fear me, child, for I am your queen," as she crouched down, gently lifting the man's chin with her icy fingers. The coldness of her skin sent shivers down the man's spine, and he couldn't help but think, 'How can one be colder than ice itself?' Unaware of her ability to read minds, he didn't realize his thoughts amused her.

"You have betrayed me, an unforgivable sin that should not go unpunished," she declared, her voice dripping with venom. The man's attempt to interject was futile; with a swift twist of her fingers, his neck was snapped open. She closed her eyes in anger, sighed heavily, and rose from her position, the man's lifeless body dropping to the ground.

"How many more should be killed to understand my deep hatred of being interrupted?" she growled, her voice echoing through the cavernous palace. The ghouls' grumbled giggles filled the room, a chilling contrast to the queen's anger. As she walked back to her throne, the atmosphere returned to its usual, oppressive silence.

Turning to her trusted advisor, Mingi, she requested a drink, but her attention was diverted by the abrupt opening of the black, massed doors. A young boy, dressed in a raggedy white cloak, ran towards her, his footsteps echoing through the palace. "Your greatness, apologies for the sudden intrusion," he said, his voice trembling.

The queen's annoyance was palpable as she asked, "What is it?" The boy replied, "It's the Hollows, they've come to reveal a prophecy." The Hollows, a great union of ancient souls, aged over a million years old, possessed knowledge that could aid the queen in her quest for power. Her eyes widened in curiosity, eager to plan her next move to ensure the success of her envisioned "Utopia".
