Hi! I saw the post about your tablet, I am sorry I have no answer for you 😅 but I want to get an s6 lite too and I've seen some mixed reviews. And since you've had it for a long time I hope you can help.
Is it really laggy? I want to use it for both art and school, but really mostly art.

Apps like ibis paint recognize the stylus and allow you to turn on a setting that only lets you draw with the stylus so you can rest your hand on the screen
Ive only had to charge it every other day, but I don't use it for school and stuff so using it all the time like that might use up more charge
The stylus has little buttons on it as well, and in ibis paint you can map the buttons to different functions (I'm sure other apps do that, too, but I can't afford another app of similar quality rn)
It doesn't tend to overheat, and it's relatively fast
I don't have a screen protector because i don't take mine places, so I don't know anything about how a screen protector impacts the stylus
Obviously my stylus is a little worn-down, but that's because I use my tablet so often, and to probably prevent yours from becoming like mine, don't press down on it so hard all the time, since 4 years of doing that is probably what caused my stylus to end up like that lol

Please take care of your stylus because if you're not careful you could lose it since there's no compartment for it in the tablet itself, but it does come with a case that has a little magnetic bit that you can hold the stylus in (but, again, be careful because magnets are also designed to allow the stylus to detach). I'm sure you could find a case that uses a sleeve instead of a magnet, but if you don't have a preference and are careful, you should be fine.
Sorry this was so long, but keep in mind that the s6 lite (like many other Samsung mobile devices) runs AndroidOS, so if you wanna transfer any data from a different device, obviously it'll only work if the other device also runs on AndroidOS (but if the other device is ChromeOS, some data can still be transferred or will automatically carry over if you connect a gmail account)
Also, it uses USB-C to charge, but it should come with a charger already, but it doesn't hurt to have multiple if you don't already.

Regarding the power issue: GenAI power consumption is a problem, but probably not as big of one as Bitcoin mining (which is literally just burning power for no actual gain.) You can technically set up a home GenAI system, but the vast majority of ways that people are using GenAI right now wouldn't work for that. I don't actually have an issue with home or company/product specific GenAI - if you want to use GenAI to help your employees browse your HR Policy database, or to help yourself write consistent dialogue because you trained an LLM on your own writing, that's your own choice.
One of the many problems I have with GenAI is that none of those examples are going to produce the same kind of results as ChatGPT or Stable Diffusion or Dall-E, because none of those examples will be trained on anything like as broad and diverse a set of data as those have been, which means comparatively few people are going to actually try to use them. They'll stick with the online commercial models.
Those, in turn, have almost certainly been trained on actual human artists and creator's work without having gotten their permission or compensating them in any way. I don't know of any large GenAI companies that have actually released their training data sources, and I strongly suspect that part of the reason for that is that the companies running them don't want to be forced to compensate the people whose work they stole.
That, in turn, leads to the next issue - GenAI is basically the definition of "Hey Bro, can I copy your homework?" "Yeah, but change it up a bit so the teacher doesn't suspect." They literally work by building a pattern of recognition of whatever data they're 'generating' (pictures, screenplays, novels, whatever) and then spitting out content that is pseudo-randomly generated content. The content itself is pruned down to make sure it doesn't deviate too far from its source material, because the AI doesn't actually know what it's doing. The only way it can simulate actual content creation is by copying existing items and then varying them *slightly*.
So ultimately, what you're getting is just reprocessed work from an actual human artist, with GenAI stepping in to interpose itself as a middle-man.
It is literally not creating anything, it is just acting as a corporate fishing net, catching customers before they can reach the same artists whose work it stole.
It's the Wal-Mart model. Provide a service for cheap, for long enough, that eventually your customers don't have any choice but to use it. Then hike up prices.
And it's not even very good.

There's this myth going around about generative AI consuming truly ridiculous amount of power and water. You'll see people say shit like "generating one image is like just pouring a whole cup of water out into the Sahara!" and bullshit like that, and it's just... not true. The actual truth is that supercomputers, which do a lot of stuff, use a lot of power, and at one point someone released an estimate of how much power some supercomputers were using and people went "oh, that supercomputer must only do AI! All generative AI uses this much power!" and then just... made shit up re: how making an image sucks up a huge chunk of the power grid or something. Which makes no sense because I'm given to understand that many of these models can run on your home computer. (I don't use them so I don't know the details, but I'm told by users that you can download them and generate images locally.) Using these models uses far less power than, say, online gaming. Or using Tumblr. But nobody ever talks about how evil those things are because of their power generation. I wonder why.
To be clear, I don't like generative AI. I'm sure it's got uses in research and stuff but on the consumer side, every effect I've seen of it is bad. Its implementation in products that I use has always made those products worse. The books it writes and flood the market with are incoherent nonsense at best and dangerous at worst (let's not forget that mushroom foraging guide). It's turned the usability of search engines from "rapidly declining, but still usable if you can get past the ads" into "almost one hundred per cent useless now, actually not worth the effort to de-bullshittify your search results", especially if you're looking for images. It's a tool for doing bullshit that people were already doing much easier and faster, thus massively increasing the amount of bullshit. The only consumer-useful uses I've seen of it as a consumer are niche art projects, usually projects that explore the limits of the tool itself like that one poetry book or the Infinite Art Machine; overall I'd say its impact at the Casual Random Person (me) level has been overwhelmingly negative. Also, the fact that so much AI turns out to be underpaid people in a warehouse in some country with no minimum wage and terrible labour protections is... not great. And the fact that it's often used as an excuse to try to find ways to underpay professionals ("you don't have to write it, just clean up what the AI came up with!") is also not great.
But there are real labour and product quality concerns with generative AI, and there's hysterical bullshit. And the whole "AI is magically destroying the planet via climate change but my four hour twitch streaming sesh isn't" thing is hysterical bullshit. The instant I see somebody make this stupid claim I put them in the same mental bucket as somebody complaining about AI not being "real art" -- a hatemobber hopping on the hype train of a new thing to hate and feel like an enlightened activist about when they haven't bothered to learn a fucking thing about the issue. And I just count my blessings that they fell in with this group instead of becoming a flat earther or something.
