I can’t live in over 99% of housing.
This is not an exaggeration.
“Less than 1 percent of all units are equipped with features that would allow a wheelchair user to live independently.” (HUD.gov)
My experiences of homelessness are inherently tied to this.
[ ID: Red capitalized text on a cream colored background reads: “I can’t live in 99% of housing” the “99%” is much larger than the other text. Below that in pink small font reads: “Less than 1 percent of all units are equipped with features that would allow a wheelchair user to live independently. HUD.gov” End ID. ]

I'm on tumblr straight up posting it. And by "it", haha let's just say, another one of my silly thoughts
So we know Connor Morgan (now-a-frog edition) survived many destroyed timelines. What if, instead of simply redoing everything from scratch he actually did kidnap Lee and escaped with him. He'd end up in a new timeliness and live happily until he thinks of the new Lee in this world, and he wants to save him to so he does the same thing slightly to the left as he does in canon.
Now come 'our' timeline, he Kevin and Abi one, and he's some sort of reverse batman with an entire gaggle of Lees from every world he managed to nab one from.
Don't really know where to take it from there though. Obviously he can't get his Lee this time because this universe needs to exist, but he clearly wouldn't just give up. Would he still get caught? Would the Lees try and help him? Imagine Kevin and Abi walking on the street seeing a boy that looks at them a little suspiciously, then a nearly identical one sitting at a cafe a few building over leering at them too etc. etc.
Anyways that's "it", hope you enjoyed another glimpse into my many thoughts

Legal scholars claiming causation when all they have is weak ass correlation with massive signs of it being spurious, endogenous or caused by a missing variable is what will give me an ulcer.
Or a very complex and nuanced villain origin story, as the jurist who turned against her own peers and companions, screaming "YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING ME DO THIS" to them, as she puts on the dark cloak of political science, now forever tormented by her torn identity and a massive imposter syndrome.

Music taste is such an interesting form of individuality. Like I love learning about different peoples’ music tastes because everyone finds such cool and diverse shit to listen to and like it’s so unique. Even if you have a lot of overlap in artists and genres with someone they’re still just about guaranteed to know and love some crazy niche artist you’ve never heard of.

Image ID: Screenshot of quote tweet. Original tweet is from ayah @/ayahhziyadeh reading, "Just want to remind everyone that 40,000+ human beings being murdered in less half a year is actually not normal and we shouldn't function as if it is."
Quote tweet is from sippin on that @/vivafalastin and reads, "the real number is so much higher than 40k that it scares me to even think about. israel destroyed the ministries and infrastructure that were keeping track of the killed and wounded. we've been seeing the 30-40k number since december." In Yemen the death count stagnated at 15,000 until the war ended and the people were able to count their dead. Today, it's commonly accepted that over 300,000 Yemenis have been killed by war and famine. We will see a similar situation in Gaza after a ceasefire.

I'm going to start fan wank.
I am holding a book open in front of me as I type. Said book describes the protagonist's appearance as "generic human," within about the first 20 or so pages.
You know what "generic" means, when referring to a human? At the minimum, brown hair, and brown eyes (and probably reasonably dark skin too tbh while I'm slinging mud at tv studios.). What it does *not* mean is "some fucking reedy guy with red hair."
So why the fuck, when adapting this book to a visual medium, did the casting directors *not* cast someone with brown fucking hair? Or make the actor dye it?
Also the armor design looks stupid as fuck and I don't think the glass on the helmet would be structurally sound. And who needs peripheral vision in fucking combat anyway? Surely having one side of your head protection be visor halfway to the fucking occipital bone, and the other cover everything lateral to your cheekbone is SUPER conductive to the purpose of a helmet.
Dumbasses.
