Somehow Arthur feels very, very close to me. I seem to feel his presence warm about me. I suppose it is that sickness and weakness are selfish things and turn our inner eyes and sympathy on ourselves, whilst health and strength give Love rein, and in thought and feeling he can wander where he wills. I know where my thoughts are. If Arthur only knew! My dear, my dear, your ears must tingle as you sleep, as mine do waking. 

Whatever you do, don't think about Arthur reading these lines, less than a month later, still grieving, in agony over how much she loved him, knowing how much he loved her, in turn, and how much was lost.

Books of 2024: Library Haul.

Trying a new thing this year where I take my cyclical ADHD impulsivity out on my library instead of my credit card statement. Featured here: a book about corporate bullshit that popped up on my dash a few days ago, plus a handful (backpack full, apparently this is eight (8) pounds of books lol) of architecture-adjacent books to help me come up with a floor plan for the haunted house I'll be writing about this NaNo.

every time i teach a natural dye workshop they sell out and i get people asking me when i'm doing more because they couldn't get a spot or they couldn't make the date of the workshop and i have to say that i'm not sure & it's bc i don't actually know how people organize teaching a workshop (particularly where to host it) when it isn't being done by an organisation that's hiring me to teach for them 😭😭 i need to figure this out bc once i do i could be teaching workshops year round on my own schedule and more people could access this craft but idk where to hoooost themmm

NO BUT WHEN ITS LIKE Derek screaming at Scott about Allison Argent: “You’re not in love, you’re sixteen, a child” and we learn that Kate Argent seduced (read raped) Derek when he was fifteen, and he most likely blamed himself for his entire life turning and then stating “you’re a child” to Scott, when sixteen year old Jackson’s body rejects the bite and Jackson asks “What does it mean?” And Derek just backs away slowly, thinking of the first person this happened to, Paige, also rejecting the bite, dying in his arms, GOD this man is living out his traumas again and again
