МК1 AU, where Hanzo Hasashi is not rebirthed
After Ahsoka's ending, I cried my eyes out all over and then thought of my AU.
[Hanzo Hasashi] What if Hanzo became a ghost again? But he was no longer seeking revenge, but peace?
It took him a long time to forgive Lin Kuei, yet even longer to forgive himself.
He quietly watched as Liu Kang restarted the timeline. As the universe breathed life, and with it came death. Thousands, millions of lives drifted away through the eons, and Hanzo realized for a moment that being human was much harder and more exciting. As much pain as he saw in the hearts of humans, he also saw boundless happiness.
He learned to rejoice in the little things and to have a deep understanding of those who had stepped on the path of evil. He learned how to curb anger and hatred.
But the hardest part was learning to let go of those he loved more than his own life.
After many more eons, he finally saw them.
Harumi was still as beautiful and majestic as ever. There was a goodness and strength in her soul that Hanzo could not have had in his lifetime. She cared for other people she didn't know in her previous life. But Hanzo couldn't blame these 'children', they weren't the ones who had hatred and dislike for Shirai Ryu. They were the ones who had created it.
Hanzo would have laughed at the ridiculousness of it. If his Kuai Liang had found out that his counterpart was now Scorpion, he would have definitely frozen with shock. If his Harumi found out that she was now married to someone else….. Hanzo didn't know how his beloved would react.
It all seemed unfair.
But on the other hand, if he wasn't with them, maybe they could have the happiness they deserved. They could give Satoshi a long life full of joy and adventure.
A lot had happened since they had defeated Shang Tsung, defeated Havik….. and made peace with Bi-Han. His worst enemy… and his sin. Watching this man who dreamed of becoming Grandmaster of a powerful clan manage to escape the clutches of darkness, avoid his fate of becoming Noob Saibot, was a true blessing. Bi Han was able to suppress his insatiable greed, learned patience and forgiveness, and restored his clan's honor, once again becoming the protector of the Earthrealm with Shirai Ryu.
Kuai Liang regardless of whether he was Sub-Zero or Scorpion, he was still the same Kuai Liang he had once known. Loved. And still does. He was brave and righteous, knew regret and pain, but unlike Hanzo he was able to muffle it all and not follow the path he himself had once walked. Kuai Liang deserved his title, bestowed upon him by the clan for his strength and heart. Just as he deserved to be Shirai Ryu's Grandmaster and, as bitter as it was, to be Harumi's husband. To be Satoshi's father. With him, his family has a chance to live happily ever after.
A chance they wouldn't have if he was with them.
Perhaps it was time for him to let go and forgive himself.
"You will not show yourself to them, my dear friend?" "They don't need to." "They miss you."
Liu Kang never lied. Not to friends, not to enemies.
The very thought that his loved ones, even without knowing much about him, still missed him warmed his dead heart.
"My place is in the old world, amidst the agony and pain we endured. I will keep them until my time comes." "When they remember, they will be miserable, Hanzo. They will look for you, all of them." "Then I entrust them to you, my friend. You will do the right thing." "That is cruel. But I respect your choice. Farewell, Hanzo Hasashi."
The two once allies bowed to each other.
Hanzo took one last look at the happy faces of his loved ones and disappeared with the falling fire petals of the Fire Garden.
He was at peace at last.
P.S. I'm crying Anakin is so😭
P.S.2 Now I need a fullstory for this AU, but I don't think I could handle this(

For the Shirai Ryu Bi-Han au, after fighting Kuai Liang in the tournament (they were interrupted b4 they could finish the fight)
@andybeanblog this one's for you
Bi-Han, shaking: It's not true, it can't be, it's a trick
Hanzo, confused: What are you talking about? What isn't true? Why did you freeze up like that?
Bi-Han: He's dead, I saw his mask- I......he's dead
Hanzo, realization dawning: Oh shit
Bi-Han: He's dead
Hanzo: We never found a body
Bi-Han: Of course we never found a body, Hanzo! He burned alive there was nothing left to find!!!
Hanzo: And yet everytime I burn someone alive, we get their bones. It's hard to turn someone into ash, even when you are trying.
Bi-Han: So?
Hanzo: So what if that was the trick? What if your brother never died?
Bi-Han:...........
Bi-Han: Then that means I left him. I abandoned him.
Hanzo: You weren't given much of a choice, we both know that
Bi-Han, crying: He won't ever forgive me
Hanzo: You're his brother. He'll try.
Meanwhile....
Tomáš: Who was that guy? He looked....he looked like you
Kuai Liang, who was told his brother died on that mission all those years ago and now barely remembers him: I don't know

You were on your way to the Master's room, nervous and shaky as two women led you there. They had retrieved you at his request. First they took you to the bathhouse, pampering you with soft hands, making sure to not miss a single spot. The two scrubbed and washed your hair, almost relaxed if it weren't for your nerves. The bath was filled with cherry blossom soap, probably made with the trees just outside the Shimada castle. After, they dried you off promptly before adorning you in a plush robe that came down just below you knees.
You had been in the castle for a little over a month now, having been captured by the Shimada clansmen. You had gotten yourself stuck in business you had no need to be in and it led you here. You were supposed to be dead, and maybe you would have preferred to be. Instead they kept you in a room, by yourself, to be used by the men of the castle for their pleasure. They were rough, you deserved it according to them. They had spared you so you owed them, and you payed with you body, and although you were greatful at first you didn't care much for it now. The ladies of the clan would come by twice a day with food, which you would eat with bound hands and the door locked at all times. You weren't bathed, simply wiped down with a damp rag after every use.
Word about you had gotten around fast, in your first week you were visited more times than you could count, and now he wanted to see you. You never met Hanzo truly, only seeing him in passing or hearing about him from the clans members. But he had never stopped to see you, you wondered if he even knew about you, and here you were on your way to his private bedroom.
You'd better behave, one of the women would tell you. He's the Master, you cannot upset him. The more and more they warned you, the more and more tense you got. But you couldn't turn back now, standing right outside what you assumed was his bedroom door.
"Master Shimada, he is ready for you." The other woman chimed out, giving you a worried look before sliding the door open. You stood there, completely silent as you took in the scene in front of you.
His room was boring. A futon, low to the floor on a short wooden frame, pushed head side to the wall. Next to the bed was a nightstand, similar to the one in your room, that housed a small bonsai tree. He sat with his back turned to the three of you. The sliding doors in front of him opened to reveal a private garden, dark but lit with small lanterns, the curtains blowing gently in the crisp summer wind. Next to him on the floor was an incense stick, the smoke wafting through the room almost creating a fog. He wore his typical blue, only this time a yukata, one shoulder uncovered to reveal his tattoo, his hair down and draping over his shoulders.
The clans woman pushed you into the doorway, causing you to stumble slightly as the door shut behind you. You stood there awkwardly, fidgeting with your robe. "Sit." He speaks out, holding a hand out twords the futon. You flinch before rushing over to kneel on the bedding. You again wait, watching as he lifts the incense stick, blowing it out and tapping the ash into it's holder. The wind feels cold on you collar bone were the robe doesn't cover but you don't say anything. He turns slowly, looking at you for the first time. Your face feels warm and you try to prepare yourself for whatever might happen.
Hanzo stands up, walking twords you. You can't help but admit he is a very attractive man, much better than the clansman that would bed you every night. You avoid his eyes, gaze wandering to his tattoo that spans across his exposed chest and left arm. The Master sits in front of you, looking you in the eye. "I will stop... If you want me to." His voice is soft but raspy and you're surprised at the suggestion. No one had given you the option before. You nod your head a little at this and he continues.
The bigger man leans forward, gently pushing you at the chest to lay down. Your nerves are at their peak, staring up at the clans leader. He rest himself between your legs, pulling you so your legs rest on his thighs. The man in blue is silent the whole time and you almost wish he'd say something, or at least direct you so you do him no wrong. Hanzo's large hands find you thighs below the robe, pushing the fabric up to see.
You busy yourself with looking at the ceiling. His hands rub the fat of you thighs, one hand stops, and his thumb pushes down over one of the many bruises. You hiss out in pain and your hand flies down to grab at the Master's wrist before you can even think about. Panic. "Sir! I'm sorry, I didn't-" your words are cut off shorts as he flips his hand in yours, instead taking your wrist. But it's not angry, he holds it softly in his own. His eyes fall onto the ring of red on your wrist where your hands were bound together. Tutting his lips, Hanzo leans down to press a kiss to the bruise on your thigh, then to your injured wrist. You stare down at him in awe.
"If I was aware they were hurting you, I wouldn't have let this go on for so long," He admits to you. "You do as they ask and they are still greedy." Hanzo's voice is sad, disappointed in his followers for your poor treatment. Even if you had gotten into their business, you were serving your "duties" yet they still found time to disrespected you.
He drops your hand, continuing up to the bow that held you robe together. The man watches your reaction as you gulp heavily, but he persists, unraveling the tie and letting the robe fall off your front. He doesn't make efforts to take it off of you entirely, his hand moving up to hold you at your plush hips. He squeezes at you love handles with a small smile, taking you all in with one look. You refuse to meet his eye but Hanzo doesn't object, his right hand sliding down to your crotch and the other to you chest. One thumb strokes the scarred flesh of your pectorals and the other finds your clit, applying a pressure that makes you squirm.
Hanzo is completely enamored by you. Robe half off, skin glowing under the moonlight that shines in from the still open door to the garden. You hide your face from him but you can't hide the moans that escape you and the way your hips move to chase his touch. It's the first time someone had stopped to touch you how you wanted. He wasn't just taking, also giving as he rubs you to near explosion, just watching you wiggle below him, indulging in your sounds.
Life as a clans leader was lonely, the Master didn't have time for relationships outside of business so this within itself was a treat. He had heard about you, his clansman weren't discrete about you, not at all. But the thought weighed heavy in his mind about having you for a night, and he wasn't regretting it now that he had you.
You feel your peak nearing but the man doesn't allow it for a second, pulling his hands away. You let out a deprived whine but he's to busy now, moving his yukata out of the way to reveal his hard cock underneath. "Don't worry, you'll get your fill soon enough." Is his response to your whining. He stroked himself with a low rumble before running his tip through your folds. You take this time to finally look at him, as now he was to busy to notice.
His face was serious yet relaxed. Hanzo was a fit guy, you traced around his muscles with your eyes, watching as the tattoo formed around them perfectly. You wanted to see more, so feeling a little daring you reached out twords him. Your finger hooks under the fabric of his obi, the band of fabric that held the yukata together. Tugging very gently at it, this gets his attention. The Masters eyes find your finger, then your eyes. Hanzo smiles sweety down at you, using both of his own hands to remove the obi. After, he shrugs the yukata off his other shoulder, fully revealing himself to you.
Before you can look for another second. He pushes his tip into you, your head rolling back against the pillow. Hanzo moves slowly, pushing inward with his hips and it doesn't take long before the two of you are connected at the base. The man's large hands find your hips again and he uses them for leverage as he pulls out painfully slow. He watches every expression, listening to every noise you make.
He begins to move faster, thrusting into you with a pace that makes you head go foggy. The drag of his cock as he pulls out is almost teasing you before he slams back in. You can't help but get a bit louder now, but he can't either. Your moans are sweet and his are ragged, grunting over you eagerly. Hanzo leans over to kiss you, lips connecting to yours, moving slowly as he swallows each whine that comes from you. The feeling excites him, he grips tighter on your hips, fucking you deeper into the mattress below. His lips move down to kiss your jaw, then neck, his ear positioned near you mouth. You're loud, but he doesn't care. You smell like the trees that surround his home, his castle. You're soft and lovely to handle, not to mention how good you felt. By the minute Hanzo grew more and more obsessed with you, beyond the point of sex, he found himself wanting to know you.
"I am drunk on you," He admits out loud. You just barley process it, but you are truly flattered. By now he's entirely wrapped around you. His large arms wrap around your middle as he ruts into you endlessly. "My senses are full of you, I can't get enough of the way you feel, how you look, how you moan for me. I imagine you taste just as perfect, " Hanzo confesses. "I bet they say the same thing, but who wouldn't. You're beautiful." He continues on thrusting into you faster than before, the coil in your stomach on the verge of snapping. The thing is, they didn't say the same things. To the others you were just a good fuck for whenever they needed. You wondered how they could be so relentless and brutal but their leader is wrapped around you and desperately telling you how amazing you are.
Hanzo pulls the two of you upwards, now sitting on his thighs as he fucks upwards into you. Your arms wrap around his shoulders and your head leans down to rest on your bicep. He watches as you barley have the energy anymore, the two of you growing more tired, but your end is fastly approaching. "I won't let them treat you badly anymore. You're mine, I want to know you. I want to treat you nicely, but only if you allow me." Hanzo tells you, and if feels nice to have a choice, nice to feel wanted instead of being constantly degraded. You whine in response, and finally you feel yourself snap.
Your orgasms is strong and you tense in his arms before fully letting go. You moan his name as you wrap around him tighter. His breathing is harsh and he's still pushing into you eagerly, the feeling of you realising over his cock is to much as your walls flutter over him and soon enough he's finishing too. Hanzo groans loudly, hissing in pleasure as he cums inside of you, gently fucking into your sweet pussy. He pulls out slowly, your legs and his waist are covered in your combined slick. You relish in the feeling for as long as you can, having been the first orgasm to come purely from pleasure to happen for a while. The man leaves you, and you wondered if he'd just leave you there to be picked up, after everything he had said. He's back before you know it, back at your side with a glass of water and a rag.
After he cleans you he lays beside you, facing you. It's all a bit awkward now, but you're to tired to care. "I meant what I said..." His voice is quite, but you hear him. "I've seen you. I've overhead you and my maids talking and I grew interested in you. I thought maybe you wouldn't want to see the leader of the clan that is keeping you here." He tells you, his hands move to brush the hair out of your face. "I really didn't know they were hurting you and for that I am sorry. If you'd let me... I'd love to make it up to you." The wind picks up a bit outside, but the air is warm. The moon is shining in onto the two of you, it illuminates his face with it's serious expression.
"I'd like that..." You whisper back, closing your eyes to fall asleep.

@mikka-minns, MA GAL! I HAD IDEAS!! 💛💛
Ok, so Scorpion!Harumi has been living rent free in my mind soooooo, I made an (huge ass) AU!
This goes Spider Gwen style like we talked! So Harumi became Scorpion instead of Hanzo!
I dunno what's the process to become Scorpion, I imagine they evaluate your skills during missions, but also go through some trail by combat! And in our reality (Scorpion!Hanzo's reality) Hanzo and Harumi are toe to toe but he wins by an inch, while in this reality Harumi got the upper hand!
And this here's my take on her design as Scorpion:
Tumblr media
Now under the cut I go more in depth with her life and stuff, I didn't make it all that different from Hanzo (as you know, parallels and canon events🎸 and stuff) but there's a twist or two!
So Harumi becomes Scorpion, and due to his performance Hanzo is one of her most trusted warriors, till they have Satoshi and Hanzo becomes more of a stay-at-home dad so Harumi can go on longer and more challenging missions.
And one day she is hired to do one of the most dangerous missions yet, steal a map from a Shaolin Temple!
She meets the man, the Sub-Zero himself, Bi-Han! He is, as expected, not impressed by the warrior before him, too short, too scrawny, he expected they would send something better to face him!
But as they engage in combat, oh boy! Perhaps he did underestimate this warrior after all! She was skilled and pulled a hell of a fight! But she is only human and he one of the last Cryomancers on Earth. Our Scorpion wouldn't stand a chance.
He defeated her and as he was ready to deliver the final blow! He hears a plea. From the Scorpion, and the penny drops!
A woman.
Sub-Zero is well known to be ruthless and merciless. But not a monster. "Never women and children." That's his rule.
He beats her to unconsciousness, as he judges his right as winner of the match, and leaves her as she is, beaten and humiliated... but alive.
No one would hear of Sub-Zero's rare display of mercy, not even Harumi herself, as she woke up as a dead woman, in hell, reborn as a wraith.
No one knows who killed Harumi Hasashi, but for her, the killer was obvious, the last person seen with her. The ruthless, the merciless Sub-Zero.
He had killed her! And as she later learned, he lead an attack to her home, the Fire Gardens. Her entire clan, her beloved husband, and her sweet baby boy. All taken from her so brutally.
Sub-Zero would pay for this! And the only way she found to get to him was through Quan Chi.
A fair trade, she imagined, do one job for the evil man and get her revenge! It made sense for her. "It's what Hanzo would've done. It's what Hanzo would've wanted..."
She headed to the Mortal Kombat as a wraith, driven by her own anger and sorrow (and the whispers of a mad man) she killed Sub-Zero. He was unconscious when he died, a small mercy for another.
Vengeance was found, but not freedom. Harumi stayed by Quan Chi's side, where else would she be? Where else would she go? Who else would be out there for her?
But their "Alliance" was short lived as soon came the truth.
It was Quan Chi the man who slaughtered her family and clan, it was Quan Chi who killed Harumi after Sub-Zero had defeated her. It was Quan Chi who manipulated her grief her pain, her sorrow.
But it was she, and only she who had killed Bi-Han. She had killed an innocent man and sooner or later, she would pay the price.
It did not take long for someone to come to avenge Bi-Han. Two siblings. Twins. Kuai Liang and Lisa Liang. Came to avenge their fallen older brother.
By the time they got to Harumi she already knew the truth, she'd already burned Quan Chi till he was nothing but a pile of burnt flesh.
She had avenged her loved ones and killed a monster. Now it was only fair the siblings, now the Sub-Zero Siblings, had their shot at getting rid of their monster.
It was only fair. It was what Harumi deserved for allowing herself to be so foolish. It was what she deserved.
But it would have to wait. The world was in danger, and she was the only one who could stop it.
She pleaded the siblings for help, to help her do the right thing, "kill me if you must, but promise me you will keep the Kamidogu safe!"
Kuai Liang, though hesitant, was the first to aid the Scorpion. He hated her, that was true, but it was also true that he wouldn't risk the world for his own needs and desires. He was better than that, and he knew that, and even Scorpion knew that.
Lisa Liang however, was harder to convince, she was torn by her need for vengeance and the world's need of her. She did not trust the Scorpion one bit, and she thought her brother was a fool to even consider give this woman a chance.
But Kuai Liang was firm in his decision, he would protect the world, and Lisa, would protect her remaining family.
With the threat of the Kamidogu dealt with, Kuai Liang started his mission to find his missing friends and rebuild the Lin Kuei, he did not care much for vengeance anymore, he just wanted to preserve his family's legacy.
Lisa, went with him.
"My life is yours to take." Harumi told Lisa humbly before she left. The Cryomancer pondered, but ended refusing the offer. There was something about that Scorpion, something she saw during their partnership, that made Lisa hesitate.
Harumi insisted her life would be theirs, but in another way. A Shirai Ryu way.
She became their guardian and protector, she made herself a home, hidden within the Lin Kuei, until Kuai Liang, who had already made his peace with her and the role she had in his life, decided it was past the time to offer the Scorpion forgiveness. Even if she did not judge herself deserving of it.
Kuai invited her to stay officially and for as long as she desired. She would have a room of her own and role to play.
Never had the Sub-Zero Twins argued so intensely before. But in the end, Kuai had the last word, and Harumi stayed.
Getting Lisa to like her was a hardship, but as the years passed, the Cryomancer sister started to warm up to her. Even if she would never bring herself to admit.
Years later, Harumi was already part of the Sub-Zero family, it was hard, and having Bi-Han returning from the dead did not make things any easier, but in the end her efforts payed out.
One day, an unimaginable thing happened, Lord Raiden and his champions had found another reality. In this reality, Harumi had died, she had learned it was a normal occurrence within the multiverse.
But she had also learned whenever she died. He lived. Her Hanzo.
His visit to this world was quick, but it made quite an impact on her, as she made on him. They could both tell each other the death of their loved ones was not their fault. Never their fault.
They could tell each other how much they missed one another, how much they cared, how much they loved! They could tell each other everything they wanted but never had the opportunity to...
And by the end of the evening, Hanzo had one more thing to say: "I am in love."
Harumi knew from his expression that he was uncertain of what her reaction would be. He did not want her to feel betrayed, forgotten.
She assured him he was doing no such a thing, as a matter of fact, he was making her very happy!
Because she wanted him to be happy, she wanted him to move on, and find someone who loved him as much as she did! "He is such a sweet person, he should be able to share it with someone deserving!" She thought to herself.
And when her curiosity couldn't be contained, she asked the question: "who is this person that now owns your heart?"
And the answer, somehow did not surprise her: Kuai Liang.
No matter the reality, Kuai Liang always finds his way to one's heart, how could anyone possibly not love him?
And if someone is deserving of Hanzo's love, is Kuai Liang!
Hanzo had told her a lot about his world, it was not so different, though it had some significant changes, the one that shocked Harumi the most, was that there were only two Sub-Zero siblings, not three. Lisa did not exist in his world.
It stung her heart to imagine it, a world without Lisa's fierceness, bold attitude and a kind heart she would only trust a few.
"A world without Lisa." Haruni pondered, "What a sad world it would be. What a painful thought."
Oh, I wonder what this thought could mean?
--------------------------------------
Congratulations! You made it through the end! :D
Here, have a (very) rough sketch:
Tumblr media
I used recent pics of Lisa's actress (Rachel Lee Harris) as inspo (specially for her hair) and gave her THAT SUIT™️, I also gave it thigh high boots cause @gophergal inspired me!💜
Also tagging @paradisechid800 cause your post started it all! 💛
Edit: More of this AU!

Okay so I was sitting in my room scrolling through tumblr, when I got this thought. So basically in the original timeline both sub zero’s were actually born in America but got taken away by their father. Heck in some sources it even said that they had a sister both from the mythologies game and conquest but that never utilized. So, hear me out, what if, while Kuai liang is on the run from the Lin kuei (you know because of the cyber initiative) he decides to go to America to hide out and maybe search for the other earth realm fighters like Johnny or Sonya. But on the way he gets ambush by the black dragon and is left dead in an ally way until, a random woman comes and takes him into her home to heal him up. When he wakes up the woman introduces herself as Lisa and offers him to stay with her until he’s back on his feet. Kuai agrees but as the days go by he starts to notice little things. Like how she gives off a fridges temperature or how she looks very similar to him. He even notices it in her daughter (yes she has a daughter) who happens to have palish skin and light blue natural hair. And let’s just say he saw an old picture of her and her mom…and her two missing brothers… and a man you looks exactly like his father. He puts two and two together and realizes that this is his long loss sister. After a tearful reunion, he realized both her and her daughter also have ice powers (if you couldn’t tell the daughter is frost) but they keep them hidden to hide from the black dragon. It turns out they basically taken over the entire city they live in and constantly threaten the people living there. So what does a assassin, who on the run, with endless free time and just find out his sister and niece are constantly terrorizing but a bunch of gang members, supposed to do. Become a vigilante obviously. Yeah the vigilante part is actually inspired by the mortal kombat vs dc sub zero ending where he basically becomes Batman. It be like that except he doesn’t hold back. Heck you could have him team up with some black dragon defectors like Kabal and Erron or let him meet up with Kenshi who also trying to take it down( this wouldn’t be a one for one of the original timeline more like a mishmash of all the timelines). You can even let him train Lisa and frost and they can fight along side him. You can even bring Hanzo and Bi Han into the mix him Habdo oath to protect Kuai liang as a way to redeem himself for killing his brother and bi Han as a vengeful wraith who seek to finish Hanzo off but also protect Kuai from both the black dragon and scorpion not knowing he protecting him. Bi Han could also regain his humanity with reuniting with his sister who unlike Kuai he remembers(Kuai would be the youngest in this au. And what will I call this au… Urban Sub Zero. Or something else I can workshop. Or maybe I’ll completely forget about this, who knows.

A very unnecessary and long post on why "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" has my favorite version of Sub-Zero Bi-Han.
(English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if i repeat myself a lot)
I've been planning on starting to make posts about this show since there is SO much to say, and I feel like it's not appreciated enough.
No. It is not perfect MK media, but it does embark on some very awesome concepts and ideas I've taken myself for AUs so I feel the need to spread the word.
That's why before you read this I recommend you check out the show itself! Is free on YouTube to watch, though I should warn y'all it ends on a cliffhanger that makes me wanna cry knowing it was canceled but i say it's still worth the watch.
For today’s post, i wanna talk about a character that while isn't one of my personal favorites, it surely has become one in this show.
Also i wouldn't call this a serious character analysis this is just me rambling about a dead man 😭.
. . .
For starters, Sub-Zero Bi-Han was never a character that caught my attention. My first introduction to him was MK1 and I'll be honest.
It is my least favorite version of him atm, so I was relieved to see that he had been done better justice in the older sagas of the franchise… sort of.
I thought "MK: Mythologies Sub-Zero" was gonna be the only version of him I would be invested in, but then I decided to start watching "MK Legacy" and my perspective changed completely.
I will be more so specifically talking about episodes 7-8 of season 2 since that's where we look at his lore more in depth, but season 1 is absolutely worth mentioning.
Then after summarizing those, I'll give some closing thoughts.
. . .
In episodes 7-8 of season 1, we get introduced to Hanzo’s backstory and how he became Scorpion (my favorite version of it as a HUGE Hanzo fan.)
I adored watching this interpretation of Harumi and Satoshi (called Jubei here) and how they interacted with Hanzo, and as always, the tragedy of it all. But this is still about Bi-Han.
Getting tricked into leaving his village earlier than expected, Hanzo encounters “Bi-Han” on his way to the Kumamoto Castle. You can already imagine what happened to his family and clan while he was away.
After defeating “Bi-Han”, Hanzo runs back to his village only to find that everyone had been slaughtered (this scene actually almost made me start crying.)
Before he even gets time to process the death of his wife and son, he is backstabbed (quite literally) by “Bi-Han”.
It is revealed, like usual, that this entire time it was Quan Chi disguised as Bi-Han and was also helped by Shang Tsung to perform this attack on the Shirai Ryu. He quickly converts Hanzo into the vengeful specter he is so he will participate in the Mortal Kombat tournament and in exchange, he will be able to get his “revenge”.
Now none of this is really news. Yes there are changes there and then but what if i told you this is a lot more tragic than you think?
Not only did Hanzo lose his family and clan, he died thinking he was betrayed by his childhood friend, who had sworn to agree to peace between their clans.
Tumblr media
That's what finally leads us to season 2 ^_^
. . .
In season 2, they take a very interesting spin on the Sub-Zero and Scorpion rivalry. Like I mentioned earlier, Hanzo and Bi-Han were actually childhood friends.
They would meet up at the hayfield outside their villages to play and train together, which I believe might be one of my favorite takes on their relationship. I think making them childhood friends makes their relationship a lot more deeper and interesting than it is presented in the games.
While they sparred however, Kuai Liang appears and tries warning his brother of their father and his guys coming over to stop them but Bi-Han doesn't listen, which ends up with both him and Hanzo getting in trouble whenever the Shirai Ryu member's father shows up as well.
As Hanzo is taken by his respective father, Bi-Han’s reminds him of the rivalry between the Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu.
“Why do you keep playing with that boy?”
“Because he is my friend.”
“He is not your friend.”
“But why?”
“His clan aren't to be trusted.”
“But why?”
“It's the way it's been since before your grandfather was born.”
Bi-Han still doesn't understand it, but his father dismisses him.
They nailed the childlike curiosity and confusion in this. Maybe it's just because I love these types of tropes, but it was a delight to see just tiny Bi-Han and Hanzo be friends and play together despite their differences.
20 years later, we get reintroduced to Hanzo, taking a walk with Harumi and Jubei.
Jubei separates from his parents as he runs deeper into the road, and ends up encountering Kuai Liang and two of his goons, who hold him captive as Hanzo has to intervene to help his son.
Kuai Liang talks about how Hanzo and his family are intruding in Lin Kuei territory, so Hanzo argues that the road is neutral, decreed by the shogun.
Hanzo then threatens to tell Bi-Han about this intrusion which leads to a confrontation between the two.
It ends up with something I found EXTREMELY unexpected, that being the death of Kuai Liang.
Now I can't say I like this version of him at all, but it is interesting seeing a version of Kuai that not only doesn't survive, but also seems egotistical and ambitious. As kind of lame as his death was imo I still thought he was.. something. They had to sacrifice him for the better Bi-Han. Fly high 🕊🕊🕊
Later on, Hanzo and Bi-Han reunite at the same place they played as children to settle things about Kuai’s death.
Bi-Han believes Hanzo when he tells him he wasn't the aggressor in the situation and grieves about how Kuai Liang had always felt underappreciated. He still apologizes on his behalf, and he and Hanzo agree to never have the clans clash with each other again as they shake hands like good friends do!
Tumblr media
Tweaking trying not to mention Bihanzo this entire time tbh. But point is:
There is something extremely charming about this version of Bi-Han and Hanzo trying to settle the differences between their clans. It makes what comes next so much worse, but also a lot more fascinating like how the Hell did they not make this canon in any of the games.
But yeah at this point you know this won't have a happy ending.
Next scene shows us Bi-Han being awakened from bed, being given the horrible news.
Hanzo, his family and clan, were all gone. Brutally murdered by his men.
He snaps, and I just have to share the dialogue in this because it drives me insane.
“Hanzo and I had a truce. This was to be a new era. An end to the senseless violence. Then why do I wake from my bed to find you, who I entrusted my men to-.. Hanzo? His whole family? His entire clan? Slaughtered. He who I had promised to end this violence.”
This alone says a LOT about Bi-Han's character.
He never wanted this to keep going. He just wanted to have peace between the clans, to have an alliance with his friend who had trusted him. His friend who is now gone. He didn't wanna walk into his father’s footsteps and this makes Quan Chi even more of a fucking asshole than in the games and DAMN IM ALL HERE FOR IT.
As he is about to go off, he is interrupted by a mystic of the Lin Kuei, offering to show him the truth of what had happened.
In between this they throw a flashback of Hanzo to remind us that he died thinking Bi-Han killed his family just to add salt on the wound i guessssss.
We then cut back to the mystic and Bi-Han, who shows him what truly happened and the participation of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung.
Tumblr media
Having Bi-Han find out who Quan Chi is from the beginning is another interesting idea from this series (not counting mythologies here) and I like the fact Bi-Han mainly joined the tournament to make amends with his old friend.
But I also sit down and think about how horrific it must have been for him, seeing Hanzo being stabbed and told lies by someone pretending to be him. Just seeing his dead friend and family must have sent shivers down his spine (no pun intended).
In the end, it cuts back to the present, the fight between Sub-Zero and Scorpion.
The fight ends as you would expect, Hanzo wins and murders Bi-Han, finally getting “revenge”. But if everything that I've told you so far doesn't make his death tragic enough, then maybe his last words will.
“No- Hanzo! I gave no such order! You’ve been deceived! Please Hanzo don't do this-”
Gets decapitated without a chance.
. . .
Now to explain why i dig this verison of Bi-Han so fucking much.
I believe that MK Legacy gave so much more to his relationship with Hanzo, as well as actually making me feel awful for his death.
A pretty recurring theme in the MK franchise is to have Bi-Han Sub-Zero be quickly killed off and replaced by Kuai Liang, just to later turn into Noob Saibot. So not only was it refreshing to see something different that actually made me upset he was unfairly killed, it was also nice to see a “what if”.
What if he and Hanzo were childhood friends? How much would that change their rivalry in the games?
What if Kuai Liang had just died or never turned into Sub-Zero so early? How different would events turn out if Bi-Han had only time to shine longer?
What if he did find out about Quan Chi impersonating him early? Would he also go on a quest to hunt him down scorpion style for slandering his honor? Or would he care at all?
While this series answers these questions (in a way) they have so much goddamn potential to be a plotline in an actual mortal kombat game LIKE IT'S INSANE.
I personally have the belief that MK1 could have even improved by borrowing some of these concepts.
Have Hanzo be their childhood friend instead of Harumi. I would have loved to see a rivalry like this between Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu in the new era, but guess NRS just loves crushing everyone’s dreams (I refuse to blame Lulu for this.)
Overall, all these new concepts and the way they were delivered is why this is my favorite version of Bi-Han ever created.
It makes Noob Saibot a lot more tragic than he already was, and it lets me explore who Bi-Han was as Sub-Zero before that transformation.
PLEAAAAAASE someone has to see the vision (and the Bihanzo one too if interested wink wink) (i also like Kuaihanzo btw)

Hanzo trailed along after Quan Chi, one hand on the handle of his katana. He didn’t trust this part of the city, sometimes referred to as The Lin Kuei for some reason and considered the seedy underbelly. He would usually avoid it like the plague. It was in these streets that Harumi met her demise. But Quan Chi had business here, and as his bodyguard, Hanzo had to go wherever he went.
“Relax, Hanzo,” Quan Chi suddenly chimed up, looking over his shoulder and smiling. “No one’s going to attack you if you give them no reason to.”
Hanzo bit his tongue, holding back his true thoughts. Harumi would have never given someone reason to attack her, yet she still managed to die in these streets. Granted her death was considered a tragic accident, supposedly no one else was involved, but he was not so convinced. They’d had discussions about her in the past, and Hanzo had learnt to keep her name off his lips in Quan Chi’s presence. He was hardly the most sympathetic of men.
They came to a building, and Quan Chi hit a small button attached to a speaker. It took a couple of seconds, but soon the speaker crackled to life and a voice called out “hello?”
“My name is Quan Chi, I’m here to meet with Song Bi-Han,” he spoke, waiting for a reply of some kind. There was silence for an uncomfortably long amount of time. Hanzo was starting to wonder if they just weren’t expecting visitors.
Eventually however, the voice stated “come up.” And then the door swung open, Quan Chi entered and Hanzo followed quickly after. Inside there was a narrow stairwell that they both walked up. At the top, a man with long silver hair was waiting for them. Hanzo would have believed he was human too, only he had split pupils, indicating he was something of more demonic heritage.
“Follow me,” the demon instructed, turning his back to them and opening a door.
Quan Chi and Hanzo followed, entering a large room. Glancing around, there seemed to be a few other demons hanging out inside, glaring at the pair of them with venom. It made Hanzo take an even firmer hold of his katana. They were led to a small table, low to the floor with pillows around it. The demon gestured at them to take a seat, Quan Chi taking one pillow and Hanzo taking another.
Hanzo kept looking around. This place was strange. It didn’t look like a business of any kind, but also didn’t seem to be what he’d consider a living space. The other demons had lost interest in the two humans who’d entered, sitting around at their own tables and talking between each other.
He turned back to the table in time to see two men entering the room across from them. They were also both demons, clearly of an avian nature as they both sported large feathered wings from their backs, as well as various feathers decorating various parts of their bodies. Hanzo sat back, watching as the pair of them walked towards Quan Chi and him. As they got closer, if he had to guess, he’d say the pair were related in some way. They both had the same blue feathers, blue eyes, and generally a very similar facial structure. The only real difference was that one was sporting a rather impressive scar down the one side of his face.
“Quan Chi?” One of the demons asked, the one without the scar.
“That is correct,” Quan Chi replied, placing a hand on his chest. “Song Bi-Han, I assume?”
“You assume correctly.” Despite looking at Quan Chi like he was dirt, Bi-Han still bowed to them. His eyes landed on Hanzo before he asked “and you are?”
“Hanzo Hasashi,” he said, dipping his head slightly. His eye was drawn to the other demon, who almost looked like he did a double take. Like… He’d heard Hanzo’s name before. “I am Quan Chi’s bodyguard.”
“I see,” Bi-Han muttered in a tone that indicated he did not actually care. Eventually he gestured his hand to the second demon before stating, “and this is my younger brother, Kuai Liang.”
“Pleased to meet you both,” Kuai Liang said in a quiet tone, bowing in much the same way his brother had.
“A pleasure,” Quan Chi growled with a strange edge to his voice. Hanzo shifted ever so slightly, it was the tone he used when he’d seen someone who… interested him, and Hanzo really had no desire to sit through another meeting of Quan Chi trying his luck with someone.
Granted, this time, he could actually see why Quan Chi was interested. Kuai Liang was very pretty, both of the brothers were, really. But just because he could see where Quan Chi’s attraction came from, didn’t mean he would fall for it too.
The brothers sat down at the table too, Bi-Han taking the pillow closer to Quan Chi, while Kuai Liang sat next to Hanzo. Kuai Liang looked up and made eye contact with him, before giving a shy smile. He tried to return it, but was interrupted by the grey haired demon placing a teapot and four cups in front of them.
“You wished to make a deal?” Bi-Han questioned, although he gave Kuai Liang a strange look. The younger demon lowered his head, before reaching for the teapot and starting to pour it out for everyone. That was weird.
“Yes, I believe you and your organisation have recently come into possession of some interesting items,” Quan Chi smoothly began, taking his cup as soon as Kuai Liang had finished pouring the tea. The action surprised Kuai Liang if his hesitation to continue filling the others was anything to go by.
“We have, and I will tell you what I tell every person who enters and asks about them.” Bi-Han took his own cup, taking a large sip. “They will be sold at auction, and you will have to bid and win them fair and square, like everyone else.”
Quan Chi chuckled, reaching into his pocket. “You see, Mr. Song, that arrangement doesn’t exactly work for me.” He pulled out a scroll, waving it in front of Bi-Han’s face. “I want those items, and I am prepared to pay as much as it takes to have them.”
“Then you will do well at the auction,” Bi-Han sneered, leaning back and looking Quan Chi up and down like he was dirt. “If you’re willing to pay, you’ll be the winning bid, no problem.”
“Maybe you should look at what I’m offering before you dismiss me,” Quan Chi said in a low and threatening tone. He pushed the scroll across the table to Bi-Han.
Bi-Han regarded him silently, before snatching the scroll. He unrolled it, and his eyes began to scan the paper. Kuai Liang shifted slightly, leaning towards Bi-Han to read it himself. The brothers sat in silence, although as they read, it was clear neither of them were happy about what the pages contained.
“I think you are severely underestimating the worth of these items.” Bi-Han’s eyes slowly looked up, maintaining eye contact with Quan Chi. “That or you know exactly how much they are worth, but are hoping we don’t and that throwing around big sounding numbers will persuade us otherwise.”
Silence stretched out across the table, and Hanzo glanced at Quan Chi, his face the picture of tranquil fury. Hanzo said nothing. He knew the second of the two options was true. Honestly, Hanzo thought they’d go for the offer as well. Maybe they’d misjudged just how much they knew about the items they sold.
“Well. It seems we’re at an impasse, aren’t we?” Quan Chi lent on one of his hands, a cruel smile coming over his face. “Your brother seems quite lovely, Mr. Song. It would be a shame if something were to separate you, wouldn’t it?”
“You dare to threaten my brother?” Bi-Han’s face warped into a snarl as his wings spread behind his back. Kuai Liang lent a little closer to him. “You think you can make threats to his life and live to tell the tale?”
“Oh, you have the wrong idea, Mr. Song,” Quan Chi said, a smug smile over his face. “It would be a waste to kill something as beautiful as he is.” He very deliberately looked towards Kuai Liang. “No. Pretty bird like him would serve much better as a pet inside a gilded cage, wouldn’t he?”
Bi-Han’s wing stretched out so far it hid Kuai Liang from view.
“Get out of my sight before I kill you,” Bi-Han growled, his clawed hands slamming down on the desk and scratching deep grooves in the wood.
“Now, now, Mr. Song,” Quan Chi held up his hands as if to placate him. “There really is no need for hostility. All I want is to negotiate, and I will leave your brother alone.”
Bi-Han bared his teeth but eventually retracted his wing. He turned to look at Kuai Liang before snarling “go take a walk.”
“But Brother-”
“Now, Kuai Liang.” The demand made Kuai Liang flinch, but he pushed himself to stand and do as he was ordered. Bi-Han’s eyes then landed on Hanzo as he added “And take Mr. Hasashi with you.”
Hanzo felt his hand go for his katana, not willing to leave Quan Chi’s side right now, especially considering the hostility between the two parties. He felt Quan Chi’s hand touch his shoulder.
“Easy, Hanzo, It’s quite alright.” He couldn’t help but shoot Quan Chi a disbelieving look at that. “Maybe talking one on one would be better for negotiations.”
Hanzo didn’t agree with that, but could tell this would go nowhere if he didn’t leave. As he stood up, he made sure to indicate his displeasure by exaggerating his actions. Even so, he silently followed Kuai Liang out of the room. Soon they were on a balcony of some kind that appeared to wrap around the entire building. They had a pretty decent view of the city from here, not that there was anything particularly worth looking at.
“I apologise for my brother,” Kuai Liang suddenly said in a soft voice. He lent forward against the railing, staring at the city. “He has a bit of a temper, especially where I am involved.”
Hanzo did question the fact that Kuai Liang was apologising when it was Quan Chi who threatened him. Still Hanzo decided not to think of it too much. Some people just had a habit of saying sorry for things that weren’t their fault and he could only infer that Kuai Liang was one of those people.
Besides, there was something else that was bothering him from their initial meeting.
“May I ask you something?” He watched Kuai Liang intently, and after a while, the demon nodded. “When I introduced myself, you reacted like you recognised my name. Have we met before?”
Kuai Liang’s wings flapped slightly. “No. Sorry. I just knew a lady who shared your surname.”
Hanzo felt a strange cold come over him. He took a step forward, desperately trying to wrack his mind of how this man could know her.
“Was her name Harumi?” He asked, watching as Kuai Liang’s breathing hitched and his ears twitched.
“So. It is you.” Kuai Liang turned his head, eyes wide with wonder. “You are her husband.”
“I was, yes,” Hanzo grumbled, so confused as to what was going on. How did Kuai Liang know Harumi?
“Then I need to show you something.” Kuai Liang held out his hands. Despite his better judgement, Hanzo placed his own in Kuai Liang’s. The demon held tight, before extending his wings, flapping them.
Soon, Kuai Liang was lifting into the air, and Hanzo realised a little too late that he was following. As his feet left the floor, he fought every instinct to begin struggling. That would just result in him falling. Kuai Liang continued his ascent, flying up in little circles and making Hanzo go dizzy.
As they reached the top of the building, Hanzo was surprised to see a small glass room. It was full of plants, obviously some kind of sunroom, except it looked like there was no normal entrance, like a staircase. The only way this place could be accessed was by someone with wings flying up. Kuai Liang placed Hanzo down on a little platform on the roof, before landing himself. He walked over to the door to the sunroom and opened it, gesturing for Hanzo to follow him inside.
“Mi-Chan left me something to give to you, in the event of her death.” That made Hanzo pause yet again. Partially because of the implication that Harumi knew she was going to die. Partially for the use of the nickname ‘Mi-Chan’. Only those closest to her got to call her that.
“I’m sorry, how exactly did you know my wife?” He followed Kuai Liang through the sunroom, glancing at the plants around them. They looked very well cared for. He wondered if that was Kuai Liang’s doing.
“We were childhood friends,” Kuai Liang casually explained, but that just raised even more questions. Harumi had never talked about having a friend named Kuai Liang. Not to mention, she came from a long line of demon hunters. Even though she held no ill-will to demons herself, he couldn’t imagine her father having no issues with her being friends with one.
“She’s never mentioned you,” he huffed, watching as Kuai Liang bent down to a small safe, and began to put in a combination. “And I find it hard to believe she could have been childhood friends with a demon, given her lineage.”
“Her family did not know of our friendship.” Kuai Liang clicked his tongue as the safe opened. “And she rarely referred to me by my birth name, as that could raise suspicion. She might have called me Tundra.”
“Wait. You’re Tundra?” She had mentioned her friend Tundra before, but she was always extremely vague with the details. She never referred to Tundra with gendered pronouns, always using they and them, she never mentioned their age, or even any physical details. She did talk fondly about Tundra however, very much so. He didn’t see why Kuai Liang would lie about being Tundra, or even how he’d know that name if it wasn’t him.
“Yes. I am.” Kuai Liang pulled what looked like a necklace out of the safe. He stood back up, turning to Hanzo and holding the necklace to him. “She asked me to hold onto this until our paths crossed. She said only you would be able to use it.”
He took the necklace from Kuai’s hand, looking it over. He bit his lip, as he looked at the green gem embedded into the golden hold. He knew what it was, a necklace with a message stone set as its pendant. Which probably meant, if he touched it in a certain way, he could make it spring to life.
As he pressed his thumb to the stone, it began to glow, and a small image of Harumi began to reflect from it.
“Hanzo,” she softly greeted, holding her hands to her chest. “If you are seeing this, then I am dead, and Kuai Liang managed to get this to you.” She brushed her hand through her hair, and Hanzo felt his heart break a little as he longed to be able to touch her again. “My death was not an accident. For some time now, I’ve been working on revealing a government conspiracy, and I think I’ve come too close to the truth. They are going to assassinate me, and make it look like an accident.”
It was true that her death had been considered an unfortunate accident. It was believed she had tripped and fallen on a discarded pipe. It had pierced her neck. He’d always thought the angle and placement was a little convenient, that it seemed a little too sharp. But he didn’t have any evidence to reason it was done on purpose, until now.
“Hanzo, I know you, and I know that upon learning this you are going to want to find revenge, but I need you to listen to me.” He swallowed upon hearing that, because he was indeed wanting to find whoever did this and make them pay. “If you want to avenge me, please continue my work and make sure the truth is known. Do not let me die in vain.” She took a deep breath. “I have hidden my research across the city. Kuai Liang knows the locations, although he is probably unaware that he does.”
Hanzo glanced over to Kuai Liang, who definitely looked surprised at the news. His lip twitched as he looked like he was trying to think where they could be.
“I love you, Hanzo. You’ve always been, and always will be, my soulmate.”
And with that, the little vision of Harumi burst into a light, and she was gone. Hanzo stared at the necklace, reaching to wipe the tears from his eyes. His worst fears were confirmed, but at the same time, he’d found a new purpose. I won’t let you down, my love.
He looked towards Kuai Liang, who wore an expression like he was considering what information he knew.
“Any ideas where these locations are?” He asked, and Kuai Liang slowly nodded like he wasn’t 100% sure.
“She did leave me a collection of items the last time I saw her,” he explained. “I didn’t really understand them at the time, but I know they were related to various points of the city. I think they may be the key.”
Hanzo sighed and gave the necklace back to Kuai Liang, “for now, I think you should hold onto this. I can’t risk Quan Chi seeing it.” Quan Chi probably had nothing to do with it, but at the same time, his boss wasn’t exactly the most trustworthy of people. Him knowing could jeopardise his chances at avenging Harumi. “For now, we should return to the meeting, pretend nothing has happened. Then, at some point we should meet to go through the items you mentioned.”
“Very well.” Kuai Liang took the necklace back, gently placing it back into the safe and locking it. “Let’s return. Hopefully my brother hasn’t killed your boss.”
Hanzo actually chuckled before saying under his breath “he’d be doing me a favour.”
As they both left the sunroom, making quiet plans on when their next meeting would be, all of Hanzo’s thoughts were consumed by Harumi and how he would not let her down.

МК1 AU, where Hanzo Hasashi is not rebirthed, but some people feel an inexplicable longing for a person who does not exist
[Harumi Shirai] The Fire Gardens... The most beautiful place she had never seen before.
Harumi was only nine years old when she ran away from home for the first time to admire the fireworks. It was the only thing that could distract her from the regular exhausting trainings. The colourful lights were mesmerising, whilst the laughter and smells coming from across the river beckoned her to break her parents' prohibitions. Such moments made her sad that she had been born a clan heiress.
She longed for freedom.
When it was time to head back, Harumi decided to take a shortcut. However, when she realised that she was lost, she had no choice but to follow an unfamiliar stoney trail heading to an unknown place.
The dead silence and the dark shadow looming over her frightened her deeply. Yet she kept walking until she suddenly caught sight of lanterns ahead. Rejoicing at her good fortune, the girl quickened her step.
This was the first time Harumi found herself in this enchanting place.
Flowers were at the peak of their bloom as they beautifully shimmered in gold and ruby. Thin dangling branches bent gently over a small lake, in its sparkling water swam tiny fish.
Harumi was fascinated by the lovely surroundings, laughing heartily as the fireflies danced around her and the birds sang happily. Tired from her long walk, she sat down by an old red willow tree, hiding under its flowering vines. The silence that had so frightened her was replaced by enchanting sounds that slowly drifted her into a slumber.
She wished that she could stay here forever.
She felt that she was safe here.
Someone was holding her, protecting her from everything…
After many years, she would always return to this place. Harumi had grown used to the Fire Gardens as her shelter, feeling an unknown force wrapping her in a protective blanket and hiding her from the world.
And at the same time, sitting under the willow tree, she couldn't stop crying, as if she had lost someone dear to her heart for eternity.
She never told anyone how much her heart ached when a small pale shadow clung to her chest, seeking warmth and care, and another, larger and darker one hugged her from behind and bitterly whispered, "I'm sorry."

Enemies to lovers
I made the characters in gacha 2 because I was too lazy to draw 🤭
Tumblr media
Tomas: Don't mess with Hanzo and Yinyang! You can hurt and insult me, but you respect them!
Tumblr media
Bi-Han: but seriously Tell Hanzo to stay away from my brother...
Tomas: For someone cold, you're quite jealous when it comes to me and your brother.
Bi Han: Do you want me to leave you outside?
Tomas: I understand, I'm sorry...
Context Au : *Tomas and Bi-Han did not have a good relationship at first, Bi-Han treated Tomas badly for being one of his father's favorites, but Tomas eventually rebelled against Bi-Han when he tried to exile Hanzo and Yinyang because they had failed. on a mission, at that time Bi-Han reflected on his actions when he saw his mother's spirit reflected in Tomas, since Bi-han and Kuai Liang received abuse from their father the great teacher but their mother always protected them, Bi-Han, in an attempt to change, tries to be good to Tomas, this will be seen in the fanfic that I will upload these days since there are finally vacations ✨*
Some Au Data:
-Hanzo Hasashi has the power of lava and rocks basically like magna, he is the same age as Tomas, he has a love interest with Kuai Liang but secretly although they are not good at hiding.
-Kuai Liang has the fire element but as an additional element since he has cryomancer blood and can create ice just like his brother.
-Bi-Han is still just as grumpy but tsundere with tomas.
-Tomas in this Timeline is not the adoptive brother of Kuai Liang and Bi-Han but he is the grandmaster's apprentice, possesses the enenra, and is an overprotective friend of Yinyang (oc) since he found her half dead when she was a child. and it reminded him of his twin sister, here his adoptive brother is Hanzo Hasashi.
Maybe I'll upload the fanfic in Spanish first and then in English ^^

New Au once more, Where a young Bi-han maybe like 12ish is forcibly adopted(kidnapped l) by a Shirai Ryu member when the realize how young he is when encountering him on a mission, despite his best efforts he can’t escape them, and learns that it is much better then the Lin Kuei, but he is so desperately trying to get to Kuai Liang to get his baby brother out of the Lin Kuei clutches, but no matter how many times he tries to find him or even sneak in, he can never find him, it’s not until a ‘present’ shows up while he investigates a lead to Kuai Liang on a mission he was sent on, only to find the broken and bloody mask that he knew belonged to his brother after the place he was tracking Kuai was set albaze, basically ensuring Bi-Han that Kuai is dead and he died with no body for Bi-Han to bury.
But Kuai Liang is actually fine!!! He's alive and fine!!
I think it would make a lot of sense if Kuai Liang's death had been faked by the Lin Kuei in an attempt to lure Bi-Han out so he could be kidnapped and "returned to the fold" since we know the Lin Kuei like to keep their cryomancers, and given that he's been living with the Shirai Ryu he now has intel they'll want pretty desperately
But the kidnapping attempt fails since the Shirai Ryu sent with Bi-Han (I'd imagine they always send teams of at least two) pulls him away before they can get him
From that day on, Bi-Han swears revenge against the Lin Kuei, and will not rest until they are all dead.
Meanwhile Kuai Liang is told that the Shirai Ryu killed Bi-Han on that mission where he was taken to the Shirai Ryu, and has sworn bloody revenge against them for it
Flashforward to the tournament when the two are pit against one another and thats how they realize they are both alive (Bi-Han survived the Shirai Ryu massacre along with Hanzo bc they were on a mission when it happened, Hanzo still becomes a wraith but it happens later, while they're both tracking down Lin Kuei for revenge)
This ends up leading to Hanzo having to play messenger between the two to try and save Kuai Liang from the Lin Kuei, even though Bi-Han is convinced it's a trick. In this au, Bi-Han and Hanzo would probably actually be good friends too, which adds a new layer of angst.
(like all my aus this will end with Kuai Liang and Hanzo getting together)

Sub-Zero Siblings x Movie FNAF AU🐻🐥🦊🐰
I'll start this by saying I'm not a huge FNAF fan. My siblings are super into it and know all the lore and theories and stuff. I, on the other hand, limit myself to the movie, so this is a MOVIE FNAF AU!
With that in mind, know that there will be SPOILERS from the movie!
The (human) characters:
Bi-Han is Mike (Bi-Han struggling to pay rent is multiversal, lmao!)
Kuai is Abby
Sareena is Vanessa
Quan Chi is William (shocking, I know)
Aunt Jane is Grandmaster Oniro (I just wanted someone to kill without remorse)
The Animatronics:
Hanzo is Freddie
As Freddie seemed to be the protective one of the group, I thought it would fit with Hanzo's protective nature!
Harumi is Chica
Making my main girl the feral one, she deserves it! Plus that's fitting with how I write her!
Tomas is Foxy
His little knife in MK1 reminded me of Foxy's hook... that's it
Cyrax is Bonnie
They both go BOOOM!💀
Sorry...
Lisa is Golden Freddie (And Garrett)
Here is the biggest difference from the movie, Lisa will be the dead sibling, but unlike Garrett in the movie, she will become an animatronic! And I consired Golden cause he's the one who interacts with Abby the most!
In this AU, not only Kuai claims to have invisible friends, but also that one of said friends is their long lost sister. Which makes Bi-Han feels much worse cause he thinks because he "failed" in protect his sister, his brother now has to cope by making an imaginary version of her!
Bi-Han then takes the shitty job as a night guard to prevent his annoying evil uncle from taking Kuai from him, and once he gets there, he has the dreams!
He always forces himself to have the same dream, to relive the day his sister was taken, except this time, he sees her among four other kids, he tries to reach out to her, but she doesn't seem to recognise him.
One night he has to take Kuai with him (Cause the damn nanny is not answering the phone-- Bi-Han assumes she gave up showing up and never getting paid and not that Freddie!Hanzo cut her in half💀)
Bi-Han tries his best to reach out to his sister in his dreams, but she keeps running away while the other kids get in his way. When he wakes up his brother is far away yelling, Bi-Han rushes to save him, only to find out Kuai is not in danger at all, he is just having fun with these huge ass animatronics!
And then he realises, these are Kuai's friends! And his sister is one of them. And maybe, just maybe, Kuai would be able to get through the animatronics and convince them let him talk to their sister.
Sareena, the nice cop who shows up rather often, has quite a lot of knowledge of this place history and promptly helped Bi-Han ajust to the new job, had stayed with them that night, she helped them all build a table fort, and as usual was unbothered by everything around her.
It was only when Kuai had a small accident with Cyrax!Bonnie that Sareena started to act more hostile, threatening to shoot Bi-Han if he ever dared bring Kuai again!
Bi-Han tries to reach the kids again, promising to give anything they wanted in exchange for a moment with his sister. He is surprised when Lisa herself comes to talk to him. She tells him he can stay with her, in the picnic with their parents, as long as he lets her bring Kuai too.
Bi-Han says yes without a second thought, but soon realises his mistake, the girl before him is his sister for sure, but there was something about her, something evil. He knew he had made a mistake, he knew Kuai was not safe with her.
Bi-Han manages to save Kuai from the Animatronics, preventing Harumi!Chica from turning him into one of their own.
When they are finally out, Bi-Han is attacked by another Animatronic! This one different from the others, he reveals to be the children’s murderer. Quan Chi, the job counsellor who was very enthusiastic in having Bi-Han take the job.
With Sareena's help, Kuai and Bi-Han help the children out of Quan Chi's control. They turn against him and as the whole pizzaria falls apart they stay to make sure monster doesn't find a way out.
The siblings rush to escape, having only time to spare a glace at the Golden animatronic that holds their sister's soul disappear into the shadows...
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Ha! You thought this would have a sad ending! >:D
I love how the FNAF Fandom has collectively decided the Animatronics are now part of Mike's family, and he sibling-adopted them all, and honestly *stare at My Brother’s Keeper* Bi-Han would most definitely sibling-adopt some demonic children!
So by the end of it, Lisa and the others found their way to Bi-Han and Kuai's new home and live there! Sareena visits them once a week, Kuai and the Animatronics are now on the matchmaking business trying to convince Bi-Han to ask her out! <3
