SET ME FREE is the debut mini album of Korean soloist LISBETH, the album has two title tracks, being those NO LIMITS and HURT. The album was released both digitally and physically on July 11, 2018. Lisbeth described the lyrical theme of this album as being about "a growing dependence over something or someone".

TRACKLIST.

1. No Limits [Insp. Tove Lo's Cool girl].

Lyrics: Lisbeth.

The first title track kickstarts Lisbeth's story as she allows to introduce herself both to the listener and to what would turn out as the obsession described in the next songs. No Limits is a catchy electropop song that talks about nothing but Lisbeth's own personality before everything starts to fall down as the story goes.

2. Hurt [insp. Tove Lo's True disaster].

Lyrics: Lisbeth, Park Jinjoo.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

While No Limits introduces Lisbeth, Hurt introduces what fans started to call the Obsession, as of Lisbeth's point of view. The lyrics talk about willing to do anything to know more about what the Obsession shows, knowing that they're going to get hurt in the end. Sometimes, it can be confused as a love song, as it seems like Lisbeth is talking to a person. Hurt is a song that mixes synthpop and electropop, keeping a slightly slower pace compared to No Limits, but still as upbeat as the other.

3. Loveless City [insp. Tove Lo's This time around].

Lyrics: Lisbeth, Park Jinjoo.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

The fans reached to an agreement that this song describes a dialogue between Lisbeth and the mysterious man seen in the Hurt music video. Lisbeth asks: what am i doing in this loveless city? As her dependence grows and she starts to think nothing else matters besides the thing she wants the most.

4. getoutofmyhead [insp. Charlotte Lawrence's Why do you love me].

Lyrics: Lisbeth.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

In this song, Lisbeth has a minute of realization and tries to fight the Obsession before it's too late, having a lot of contradicting lines to support this point. The song grows darker and, even, slightly creepier until it reaches the end, suggesting that she couldn't run away from her own wishes and that her obsession finally won her, even if they meant her downfall.

5. plz answer me [insp. Dean's Bonnie & Clyde].

Lyrics: Lisbeth.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

The song starts with the sound of an unanswered phone call. The story progresses and, whatever is the so called Obsession, it seems like it's getting away from Lisbeth, but, since she's already in such a heavy stage, she's not happy with it and wants it back, the lyrics describe these feelings using methaphors with missing calls.

6. Better without u [insp. Suzy's Les Préférences].

Lyrics: Lisbeth.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

Better without u is a slower, softer songs that talks about Lisbeth's questionings as she gets more and more aware of her current situation, asking herself if it's really worth it to keep going and that maybe she's better off without concentrating with that. Is the song that concludes the theme Lisbeth wanted to talk about in this album.

7. Hopes and dreams [insp. Lorde's Homemade Dynamite].

Lyrics: Lisbeth.

Production: Park Jinjoo.

A song that doesn't apply to the storyline described in the album, Hopes and Dreams has a self explanatory title and is, overall, a lighter song, describing Lisbeth's dreams and goals as of becoming an idol. The album, in general, even if it has a way deeper meaning, can be applied to a lot of trainees' feelings about their dream and the hardships and confusion they experience in their journey, Lisbeth wants to bring a message to multiple people and permit that they interpret her lyrics to their own situation, making it the most relatable as possible.

Babygirl finally debuted, yay!

She was so happy with her debut, really. In her first stage with Hurt, she had to concentrate a lot because she wanted to smile, that contributed to her gaining a fame of duality between her fans as they thought about how could she be such a sweetheart and write those type of lyrics and perform the way she does.

No first win this time, sadly, but she gained a spot on the heart of a lot of people around their 16-24, if it had to create average, as her songs fitted the sound and lyrics a lot of younger people in South Korea like to listen, specially k-hiphop/rnb fans, as it got close to the sound they like.

Her personal youtube channel Days with Liz opened, and she got to contact a lot with fans through that and vlives.

When talking about achievements, she was average and had a solid debut, peaking at #8 in the Gaon Album Chart and she had more than 10.000 physical copies sold.

Let's not even talk about her first fansite, FleurDeLiz, that person is truly privileged and the love of her life, Lisbeth gives a lot of attention and poses a lot for them in events as they were her first, but tries to treat them all equally.

Fans also became curious about the model in Hurt's Music Video, he got known as 'the boy with a pretty smile' since his face never fully showed up, not even in the behind the scenes video where he and Lisbeth are seen playing around in the recording, because his face was blurred there. Fans started speculating that maybe he's a trainee for an upcoming debut.

ERA STYLING.

Lisbeth had light purple hair for the entire promotions of the album.

The styling for both songs was pretty casual, actually, but the concept itself didn't fit outfits with a lot of details and patterns.

No Limits' styling was fresh and free, she wore a lot jeans and skirts. There was also a performance where she whore the sleeveless jumpsuit and sports top outfit she wore in the MV, which had mixed opinions of netizens as some thought of it as too revealing, but she remained unbothered.

What is this miracle? Female idols stylists being smart and giving outfits they can actually move in? Yes.

Since Hurt's choreography was more complex and needed more movement, the styling was restricted to pants and shorts, no dresses or skirts where worn.

The color palette was different compared to No Limits' styling, as the latter focused on lighter colors, Hurt went for a theme that reminded night.

Viewer Discretion Advised, or 03, is the third studio album released by Superbia Entertainment’s duo, X2. It was released on July 5th, 2016, several months after their second album release. There was no real title track on the album, and three music videos were released: one for Like it, Love it, one for Sweet&Sour, and one for Nylon.

Basically, X2 released an album full of sensual, sexy r&b vibes, giving their fans more content than they ever could have asked for. The boys told fans that production takes time, and because they’re almost entirely self managed, having consistent comeback schedules can be difficult, but they worked as hard as they could to churn the album out in a timely manner. They thanked their listeners extensively for their patience.

ERA NOTES

The hair colors were NICE this era

RJ sported a lovely dark red hue

Junsik’s hair was dyed silver.

The styling continued with the trend of formal wear, though never quite perfectly poised. 

The music videos were all surreal once again, as a callback to their aesthetic roots. They were somewhat reminiscent of drug trips, saved from being too cliche by interesting text effects (lyrics, bar receipts, etc.) and imagery where colors blended and dripped.

Once again, they didn’t give a fuck about how explicit some of their imagery was. To make fun of the censorship of media in Korea, they censored random objects like lipstick tubes and cars, but left imagery including far more suggestive themes untouched. 

Despite the varied concept this era, the uniting factors were the colors red and imagery involving cherries. Yes, countless jokes involving “popping one’s cherry” ran rampant amongst the fanbase. 

RJ commented on working with labelmate Hyunae ( @hihijinx​) and admitted that she scared him the entire time...he also said that he was scared of Impulse’s Nye. Junsik, meanwhile, bluntly stated that he found neither of them intimidating, and that RJ is just afraid of everyone. 

Promotions began as they always did for these fools. RJ couldn’t help but spoil a bit on his Instagram feed by posting very suggestive images of himself...AKA shirtless photos and mirror selfies where everything that needed to be covered was just barely concealed. His captions teased at the album title, with lines such as “a little too NSFW for you?”. 

After that, both he and Junsik began posting photo-spreads split up into individual posts that formed images of women’s lips, mysterious captions declaring “Coming Soon.” It didn’t take long for the X2 official accounts to begin teasing as well, until concept photos were released

.There were three sets of concept photos. The first was categorized by hazy, smoky rooms lit by sensual pink and purple lighting. Junsik and RJ were photographed sprawled in limos with their trademark lackadaisical affects. RJ wore an unbuttoned suit jacket with nothing beneath, and Junsik’s own formal wear was significantly disheveled, tie undone and hair mussed. They looked as if they had been through a hell of a night, the floor of the limo littered with empty alcohol bottles, women’s underwear, and glittery high heels.

The second set of photos had them at a house party. RJ was posed leaning against a wall by a poolside, keeping up the neon theme, with the addition of cyan from the swimming pool’s luminance. He remained shirtless, lipstick prints scattered across his neck and collarbones, and an over-exposed effect gave the image a candid feel. J

unsik’s photos were similar, though he was seated on a poolside lounge chair, eyes closed as he leaned back, a soju bottle dangling limply from his hand. 

The third set was by far the most interesting. Scantily clad women wearing odd animal head masks were included in the photos, including reaching behind a seated RJ to claw at his bare chest, and lying down with their heads in Junsik’s lap as he relaxed on a bed. In these, they were even less properly styled, hair wavy and mussed, and clothing disheveled beyond belief.

They claimed that the photos told a story, and the seemingly random choice of the animal masks on the women reflected the trippy but sensual feeling of the album, balancing between the viscerally unsettling nature of trance-like sound and the undeniably sexual undertones nearly every song held.

RJ was literally such a dork around all of the women in their video. There were clips of him apologizing and bowing to each girl after shooting scenes where he had to be touching them, or if they were on his lap. Junsik made fun of him for it, but fans found his affect endearing. 

Honestly...it’s pretty easy to guess how fans reacted. They were, understandably, completely feral.

(A/N: I do believe this is the very first Destiel thing I've written, albeit it being a drabble. Tell me what you think?)

The spotlights are purplish red, falling on their skin and Dean is kneeling on the stage, singing his line without taking his eyes off of Cas, Cas who saunters over to him from the other side of the stage, high on adrenaline, microphone dangling loosely from his fingers.

“I just can't get the thought of you and him out of my head.” Dean sings it like he depends on it, reliving the exact emotion he'd felt when he’d written it. When Cas reaches him, Dean places his palm on his ridiculous, bee button up, right over his heart, fingertips toying with the collar, staring straight at him with twitching fingers, eager to grab and pull him roughly close to him. They know what he was thinking when he'd first scribbled that line on his tiny yellow notebook. They know exactly what he's referring to.

Castiel places his hand on Dean's head, runs his fingers through the soft strands briefly and affectionately, and stares directly at him with a look that almost says "I'm enjoying the view from up here", out loud. The crowd screams, but they won't listen. They're alone in that room as far as they're concerned.

“Everything that you've come to expect”

Dean fists Cas’ shirt roughly and stands up, and for a second they're barely an inch apart, Dean's nose brushing Cas’. Cas steps backwards, pulling his favorite singer along.

“Everything that I've tried to forget.”

“Everything that you've come to expect.”

Dean let's Cas' shirt go reluctantly, still slow and warm from the song he's singing,  and turns to the microphone stand, placing his mic on it and holding it between two palms. Cas presses right up against him with no warning, chin resting on Dean's shoulder and nose buried in his scruffy cheek. Broad smiles coat their lyrics as their lips nearly touch while sharing the same microphone.

“Everything that I live to regret.” Cas’ hand slithers around Dean's waist and pulls him subtly but tightly closer.

Yeah, okay. If he gets to do this, sing every single night with his angel pressed behind him, sharing a breath and a microphone, he'll die happy. He's certain.

“Everything that you've come to expect”  Dean steps back from the mic just enough, leans his head towards Cas in affection, then steals a sudden peck from his favorite guitarist, whose smile doesn't falter for a second.

Story:

You had the day marked on your calendar every year since you had met them, and it had become more and more important as you fell for him, and finally he became yours. Today that day circled so vigorously in your favorite (Y/F/C) pen had come. It was Sam’s birthday.

               The day had started with his favorite breakfast, prepared by Dean while you two went for a run and rousing birthday greetings, followed by Charlie, Jody, and Cass dropping in to cut a cake and give him gifts later that day. He seemed happy and played along with it, but you knew your Sam. Something was up, and you were bound and determined to get to the bottom of it.

               You waited until you two were getting ready for bed, and when he shuffled out of the shower, towel hanging sinfully low on his hips, you finally pounced.

               “Did you have a good day?” You kept it casual, just making conversation as you two were known to do before bed from time to time.

               “Yeah, it was a really good day.” He murmured with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “You guys were so sweet with all you did.”

               “But?” You looked at him, moving to stand in front of and face him.

               “What makes you think that there is a but?” He looked at you with genuine surprise.

               “Sam, I know you and Dean like the back of my hand, so I know when you’re faking or feeding me crap.” You said flatly. He simply blinked at you. “What’s got you down? Why wasn’t it actually a good day?”

               “Y/N, I am doing nothing but getting older. I’m not as spry as when I was in college. I ache and suffer more than in years past. I’m getting old, there’s no way to get around it.” His shoulders slumped as he finally revealed what had bothered him in the face of his own birthday. “What happens when my age gets between us? I’m no spring chicken anymore, Y/N.” He had placed his hands on your shoulders and looked at you in a way that made you bound and determined to prove your mammoth boyfriend wrong.

               “Sam-“ you started, before placing a kiss on his forehead, followed by trailing kisses along his temple, jaw, and finally his lips, a sweet kiss shared between the two of you. “You are not by any means old yet. You move with more agility than someone half your age” You kissed at his neck, arms rubbing soothing circles along his biceps as he continued to hold you, tensing up at the touch. “You ache from the abuse hunting puts on you; that it puts on all of us, no matter what the age.” You let your hands wander strong curves of his muscled arms as you pleaded your point with your eyes. “And Sam, you are by no means an old man when it comes to us.” And with that, you vigorously pressed your lips to his, your tongue teasing at his lips and eliciting a groan as your hands traced the sculpted planes of his chest, pausing every now and then to tease at his nipples, drawing more and more aroused sounds.

               “Y/N.” He groaned and bucked upwards as your fingers again brushed across the sensitive flesh. He quickly moved to push you down onto the bed behind you, looming above you with lust in his eyes, and practically ripping the sports bra you wore off your body before pausing with realization at what was happening.

               “Sam.” You said, bringing your hand to his chin, causing him to look you in the eye. “Please. You are not too old. You are never too old to be young, by any means. Then he kissed you, slow and gentle.  When he broke the kiss, there was a familiar light in his eyes, a light that had your body tingling in a way that made want to squeeze your legs together. “Please, Sam.” You breathed.

               He did nothing but nod, his calluses making tingling friction against your skin as his hands explored your body, finally pulling away your thin boy shorts. You pushed off his towel, leaving the two of you bare to one another, a sight neither of you could tire of.  Your own hands wandered, brushing against the tender skin of his balls, causing him to whimper as he pressed kisses along your neck and jawline. The thick muscles of his arms tensing with the touch, and his stubble scratching deliciously at your skin. You arched your body into the hands of your boyfriend, silently begging for more. He gave in as you continued to tease him, his mouth latching onto one of your nipples and causing you to let out a breathy moan. You moved up to his erect member, gently stroking him with your fingers. With each slip of your fingers over his head, he bucked his hips towards you while his own hands began to tease at your clit.

He let out a noise of pleasure as he slowly pushed into your core, eliciting small whimpers from you with every inch. Once balls deep did he finally begin to move, building just the right amount of friction for the both of you, slow at first but then faster to the pace you both loved, pushing you at breakneck to yet another orgasm, and then a quick second on its heels while yours were hooked behind his back. The sensation of skin on skin and the heat of your bodies washed over your consciousness while your whole person floated in the phenomenal shockwaves that each thrust Sam made, lighting up your nerves light a lightning strike.

In 1976, Hatch gained his first major television role as Inspector Dan Robbins on the detective series The Streets of San Francisco, a replacement for Michael Douglas (who played Insp. Steve Keller) who had left the series that year.  Following this, he had a recurring role on the series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, also for one season.

Throughout the 1980s, Hatch made guest appearances on such series as Hotel; Murder, She Wrote; The Love Boat; and Fantasy Island. In 1984, he appeared in several episodes of Dynasty, which was at the top of the ratings at the time. XX, or 01, is the debut album from Superbia Entertainment’s duo, X2. It was released on October 21, 2015, and featured the title track chill. Unlike traditional idol group debuts, there were no member teasers released. Instead, 15 second clips of each song were posted on Superbia’s instagram feed two weeks before debut, and a cryptic link that led to a website that was entirely blank and white other than XX and ARE YOU READY? in black, plain font in the center of the webpage. A few inventive fans inspected some of the code on the site, and found more information leading to a second webpage that linked to X2′s official instagram, which was hidden under a nondescript handle. Even still, no photos of the members were released, and although a new photo was posted every day (later revealed to have been taken by RJ), anything that featured a human face was intentionally censored with a glitch effect. A few people guessed that Junsik would be making his duo debut after his solo career (under the name J.SK) kinda fell off the map.

As the debut date grew closer, the Instagram started becoming more and more cryptic, featuring obscure quotes and graphics, which later were revealed to be hints about the members themselves. Numbers such as the coordinates of their birthplaces and heights were scattered throughout the graphics, and many potential fans on social media figured out that the key to figuring out the numerical code was the word “ready.” After that, things were a lot easier to decode, and the day before the proposed date of their music video release, a teaser was finally posted of each member, with their names.

Even during Junsik’s solo career, he did everything he could in order to avoid showing his face to the public, not wanting to sacrifice his privacy just yet. His teaser was more cryptic than RJ’s to reflect it, but both of them were photographed in a room that seemed to be entirely constructed out of metallic silver, down to the floors. Rj was posed sitting on the edge of a table, a relaxed smile on his face. His style was simple - a hand-painted denim jacket with wave designs on it, jeans, and expensive-looking white sneakers. He wore a baseball cap with the same wave design, hair black and styled slightly messily. Junsik was photographed lying down on a metallic silver couch, an open book draped over and hiding his face. The book cover once again had the wave design on an otherwise solid blue background. The words “RIP BARTHES” were on the bottom part of the cover, a clear reference to the French writer, and in particular, his essay, The Death of the Author. All that could really be seen of Junsik was that his hair was black as well, though his short-sleeved grey tee displayed his tattoos, which a few people recognized from photos that were allegedly of Junsik during his solo works, though they were never confirmed to be him.

ERA NOTES

The music video editing was very artistic, featuring inventive transitions. Some examples were a glass of silver paint being knocked over, and the camera going into the spill to cut into the next scene, as well as plenty of glitch effects, and upside down cuts of the members seemingly on the ceiling while singing and rapping and seated.

Junsik didn’t dance at all in the music video, but there are a few cuts of RJj dancing a bit in a room with solid blue walls, silver paint slowly dripping from the tops of the walls to the floor. He later released a video of the full choreography, and tutorial videos in English, Korean, and Japanese.

RJ definitely got more screen time, but that was Junsik’s preference. Although he seemed comfortable behind the camera when his face was shown during the music video, he seemed obviously uncomfortable during interviews, especially next to baby twenty-year-old RJ all bright-eyed and eager to talk as much as possible.

After the chill MV was released, both of the members were featured in interview-style videos, where they introduced themselves and spoke more about who they were and their decision to distance themselves from the music, referencing Roland Barthes’s theories on the death of the author, and how by removing the context from a piece of art (whether auditory or visual), the true essence of the music can be gleaned. RJ spoke at length on how someone might have preconceived notions, for example, on his skill or lyrics if they had known his age and lack of experience beforehand beforehand. Both discussed how Korea’s music industry is so image-oriented that what they did was risky, but ultimately created the intrigue they needed around their music. When asked why RJ chose to reveal his face sooner than junsik, he commented that although it made him nervous, he needed to do it in order to prove to himself that he could do it.

RJ took it upon himself to translate almost everything he said into the three languages he knows, and Junsik joked around with him about showing off, but the easygoing and good-natured affects of the two were well displayed in how they interacted with one another onscreen.

A live performance version of hands on u was released, and once again, more dance from RJ. Junsik teased him about how he should have just debuted in an idol group if he wanted to dance, and RJ did unfortunately receive a bit of controversy for his eye roll and disgusted expression at the suggestion.

They got off to a bit of a rocky start with further controversy right from the beginning as pictures of RJ were leaked that showed him drinking underaged predebut, but he apologized, and claimed his friends were drinking but he wasn’t while with them. (Which was a lie, and he was much more careful from there on out).

During an interview, junsik was asked how he felt about debuting again, especially with someone so much younger than he was. Junsik literally looked the camera dead in the eye and said “it beats going broke.”

So yeah maybe RJ was fully convinced Junsik hated his guts for the first like eight months of working together.

RJ was clearly uncomfortable with the amount of recognition he received right off the bat for being able to sing, rap, dance, model, and produce at his age. He tried often to keep bringing up how talented Junsik was in interviews and to divert the attention away from himself, but it made him come across as dismissive and ungrateful...which led to more difficulty for the poor thing, so debuting had its ups and its downs for both of them. RJ spent the first few months after debut stressed as hell and grappling with how difficult it was to maintain a good image, as everything he said and did was so harshly analyzed. 

A few people recognized RJ as a dancer from some dance videos and covers, as well as a back-up dancer for a few groups. In fact, he went somewhat viral a few months before XX’s release for being “the hot backup dancer” for a popular soloist, though no one really expected him to be a trainee about to debut himself.
