What if one day Alicia and Kanoa are on a mission and when they have the objective captured, the person says something about Tiala? Like, for some reason, the person knows about Tiala's kidnapping and threatens to do it to her again. Can we see Kanoa's reaction 👀?

It was a hot afternoon, the two Captains were on a mission with their team. But in different areas. These two had already captured the objectives of the drug trafficking. And they’re trying to make him TALK.

“Alright, we don’t want to get this messy but you need to tell us where the NEXT location of your stash is.” Kanoa demanded as he was standing in front of the man.

This enemy that they have caught had gotten his hands tied on the arms of the metal chair. The three of them are in a small abandoned shack. Hardly anyone came in there so Alicia had suggested that this will be the best place to be a safehouse for them.

The man just glared at the male Captain and scoffed. “You will NEVER get the info out of me you pendejo.”

Alicia glared at this Mexican man as she took a step forward. “WATCH it or I’ll cut your tongue out.”

Kanoa signaled Alicia for her to stop before hearing this man laugh.

“DO it. I would LOVE to see you TRY.” He started to grin at the two captains.

“Noa? Is everything alright?” It was Tiala calling through the comms. Checking up on her brother and Alicia.

The Samoan Captain started to press his comms. “Leai. Na te le o tau mai ia i tatou.” He could hear his younger sister sigh as they both talked about trying to find something to make him spill the intel.

While Kanoa and Tiala were talking in their native language. It suddenly got this enemy’s attention.

“Ah. You must be SAMOAN, no?”

Kanoa looked at the man on the chair. He was silenced at first. Which gives Alicia a very bad feeling when she gazes between him and the man.

“......yes.”

The man slowly grinned as he leaned forward a bit. “And I’m guessing you must be Captain Kanoa Toa. Am I right?”

Now THIS is getting more suspiciously scary.

Alicia took a few steps forward to the man as she grabbed his shirt. “HOW did you know? Did your boss tell you?”

“Woah woah woah. Take it easy, chica. Like I said, I’m not gonna tell you ANYTHING.”

Before Alicia could try to do something to him, Kanoa had stopped her and told her to calm down. Which she groaned and let go of him.

“Noa? What’s going on?” Tiala had called once again after hearing a commotion.

“E leai se mea sis, na o le tagata lea e iloa poʻo ai aʻu.”

“E ā? E FAAPEFEA?”

“I don’t know. But we still need time to find out where these drugs are. How is your end?”

Tiala sighed as it went to show she had bad news. “Not good. Luke and I are on the dead end with another empty building. Blast, Nigel and Alexander had found nothing as well. It’s like they’re moving it somewhere FAR away.”

Kanoa was starting to get puzzled at this. “That’s why we’re TRYING to get him to talk.”

“Ha! Good luck with that, amigo.”

“Shut up you.” Alicia had warned him as she gave him a death glare. Oh how much she wanted to PUNCH this guy.

But this Mexican man just kept on grinning at the two Captains. Doing their hardest to make him talk. “You can try making me talk all you like. But it will NEVER take you anywhere. Who knows, they might even have to kidnap your sister again after all of this.”

Alicia’s eyes went wide after hearing this as she turned her head to see Kanoa was just standing there. Seeing him frozen as he was facing his back from them. 

“Hello? Noa? Are you there? Alicia, what’s going-“

Alicia quickly turned off her coms since she doesn’t want ANYONE to hear this. She was silenced for a few seconds before walking over to Kanoa. “Noa?” She then saw her friend had ripped his earpiece off and threw it on the ground.

Kanoa was just staring at this man. Ignoring Alicia’s existence. “What did you say?”

The man just smirked at the Captain as he continued to talk. “You heard what I said. And you might wanna rethink your decision, amigo.”

“Or WHAT?” Kanoa said as he took a few steps forward.

The enemy had smirked widely with Kanoa stepping forward. “Or else your little hermana will go through that SAME fate. I even heard that she’s very FUN to play with.”

Alicia was starting to feel her blood getting cold after hearing this. Then she witnessed Kanoa grabbing the man’s shirt as tight as he can grip on. Almost lifting the chair with him off the ground. “Noa-”

“What the FUCK did you just say you MOFO?”

“What? You’re deaf already? HA! Okay. Let me say this ONE more time.” This Mexican man started to look into the Captain’s eyes. “Once my boss’ men start looking for your team. And find your pretty sister in that area. I’m sure that she’ll have a GOOD time with us while you and your team are DROP dead-”

Before that man could finish his sentence, Kanoa had already punched the man in the face. While Alicia was just standing there. Of course, she wasn’t surprised at how Kanoa can punch. But seeing him knocked out that man and made him fall down with the chair he’s being tied on. It’s unexpected.

Kanoa tightened his fist as he glared at the man who was laying on the floor. He walked over and knelt down on one knee while grabbing a full fist of the enemy’s hair. Pulling his head backward to see his face with a bloody nose. “HOW do you know about this huh? Was it your BOSS?” He punched his face again causing his lips to bleed. “TELL ME!”

The man groaned as he spat the blood on Kanoa’s face. “V-Vete a la mierda…”

Kanoa had turned him away a bit as he got spat on with blood. He closes his eyes, getting annoyed before looking at him again. He pushed his head down before getting up and started to untie him.

Alicia started to question what Kanoa is doing. “Kanoa, what are you doing?” She watched him untying their objective before seeing him dragging the man away from the chair and took him outside. “Noa?” She quickly followed him outside.

Kanoa had kept dragging this man before dropping him on the ground. Almost 3 feet away from the house. As he continues to walk further down to where the sticks are at.

Alicia followed outside as she stopped to see Kanoa picking something off the ground. “Kanoa, what are you doing?”

He didn’t answer.

Soon both the man and Alicia saw him pick up a long big stick. As he was examining it and walked back to the enemy.

She doesn’t know what he was doing but she did see that the end of the stick has its sharp edges. She started to feel her guts telling her something. Something BAD is going to happen. “Noa…?”

Kanoa didn’t say anything but just kept walking up to the man. He kicked him upward to face him.

The man groaned as he looked to see Kanoa with the stick. “T-Tch…what are you gonna do with that huh? BEAT me with it? Hehehe…”

Kanoa didn’t respond. But instead he lifted the big stick up as he pointed the sharp edge down.

And with that sight in front of the enemy’s eyes he started to feel his vein run cold. “W-Wait…WAIT!”

He started to scream in pain, feeling that sharp pain from the weapon on his leg that the Captain had used.

“GAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!”

Kanoa had pulled it out before piercing it down on his other leg. Causing another painful scream from the enemy.

Alicia was just standing there in shock to see Kanoa like this. Seeing him piercing over and over again. From the enemy’s legs to up to his waist. Kanoa had also pierced his knees without hesitating. Seeing him stabbing the man with brute force and faster pace. As if he was killing an animal.

While Kanoa is stabbing the enemy. His mind started to flash into the image of his sister. Has bruises and scratches on her.

Remembering the cry from her when he tried to hold her. Remembering her crying voice of her telling him to not touch her or even come near her.

Everything that had happened to her…is all because of men like THIS one.

“GAAAAHHHH! STOP! PLEASE!” The man started to beg.

But Kanoa did not listen. He kept stabbing his legs and waist

Alicia had started to feel Kanoa was no longer there and she knew she needed to stop him. “Kanoa…Kanoa stop it. He had enough.”

The Captain didn’t hear her as he was still stabbing the man. Hearing his screams is the only thing he COULD and CAN hear.

She took a step forward and was slowly reaching out to him. “That’s enough Kanoa.” She started to feel like she’s losing him. “Kanoa ENOUGH. KANOA!” Then she started to quickly stop him by grabbing his arm and pulled him away. “KANOA THAT’S ENOUGH!”

Kanoa snapped his neck at her before pushing her off. Alicia had stumbled back and was giving him a shocking expression. Not only because of him pushing her away but seeing his face. His eyes. His body motion.

For a second there, she could see that Kanoa is no longer there. Physically he is but…the soul in his eyes is not. Only the ANGER she could see. Alicia put her hand out to him and tried to talk to him.

“Kanoa…listen to me. We need him ALIVE. We need the INTEL. I know you’re upset that he triggered you but you need to STOP. Right now. He suffered enough.”

Kanoa was just staring at Alicia with his eyes soullessly but he turned back to the man. Seeing him shaking in pain and mostly in fear.

“P-Por favor…” His words started to shake when he spoke and seeing his tears flowing down from his red eyes.

Kanoa was just staring at this man emotionlessly. Before raising the stick up again.

“NO! PLEASE!” The man begged as he closed his eyes embracing another stabbing pain. But…he felt nothing. As soon he opened his eyes and saw Alicia had gotten ahold of the stick.

She tried to get Kanoa’s attention. “Kanoa! LOOK at me!” She saw he was still glaring at the man as she felt a bit hopeless at this. But she’s not giving up. “Noa…please…”

As Kanoa is still holding onto the stick to KILL this man. He slowly turned his gaze at her. Seeing her soft eyes as she stayed calm. Still gripping onto this weapon.

“Kanoa. I PROMISE you that your sister will NOT go through the same fate as the last time. I would never let that happen again. You will not face this alone. So please, put it down.”

When Alicia had said those words, she could see his eyes slowly to light up before he looked at what he was doing. He quickly backed away while dropping the stick.

“K-Kefe…I-I…I’m…”

Alicia then quickly walked up to him and hugged him. “I’m so glad that you’re back, Noa…”

Kanoa was still in shock but once he felt his friend’s touch. He started to remember why he snapped. He was shaken and slowly hugged her back tightly. “L-Licia…I-”

“Sssh. I got you.” She said in a whisper. Then she slowly leaned back and smiled at him. “You just go ahead and wash your face to clear your head. I’ll deal with him.”

Kanoa just slowly nodded and left the area as he went down to the river.

When Alicia saw him out of sight. She turned her attention back to the enemy with a glare.

The man was shaken seeing her glare. “I-I’ll tell you….I’ll tell where they’re taking the drugs…”

“Wise choice, amigo. And also.” Alicia slowly took a few steps before pressing her foot onto the man’s injured leg. Seeing him flinched and groaned. “Make that kind of threat again about my friend’s sister. I would be the one who will END you instead. UNDERSTAND?”

The man quickly nodded before getting carried away by Alicia. Who put him over her shoulder as she walked back to the house. Before she went inside, she looked over her shoulder to see where Kanoa had gone. Still hadn’t gotten over what she had seen.

Never have she seen him THIS upset. I guess she understands about Kanoa and his sister’s bond.

NEVER mess with their family.

I hope this...doesn't scare ya, Witch. I'm starting to have a habit of showing violent in the story. But gotta be honest, that IS the reality of someone showing violence like that. Anyway, I hope you like this one and hopefully you're not too scared of Kanoa...and if you're wondering about the comms. Alicia had called back and apologize to Tiala for worrying her. She told them the intel but NEVER she mention about of what her older brother had done to the poor man.

Charles: ... *covers Vasili with his blazer*

Vasili: What the fuck are you up to? *narrows his eyes*

Charles: Shut up and have this *gives him a mug of tea* now excuse me *goes to smack Adler with the broom screaming and cursing*

Vasili: Note to self: Take the broom from Moore...after he knocks out Adler *smiling maliciously*

Vasili is just watching Charles beat Adler with a broom while he sips on his tea. Not Jodie, Aleks, Abby, Koa and Mila joining along with the tea, as well. They're having a blast.

Mila asks, "Does anyone want some extra sugar?"

Aleks and Vasili raised their hands. "Me."

"I'd like to have it spicy." Abby smiles. "It's fun to sip on it while Charles beats him with the broom. Oh what if he puts some hot oil on the wooden stick?"

"That's way too much." Aleks said, as everyone in the room slightly groaned. "Even if he's my husband, I enjoy this. A lot." She chuckles a bit.

"Me too. Charles is doing what we should have before." Jodie sips on her tea.

"A little harder in the back, Charles! It's more effective!" Koa cried out.

"Ah, so satisfying." Vasili closes his eyes, sips his tea and takes a breather as they watch the chaos between Charles and Adler together.

We should do more gift giving

Like in general as a society

Especially with how fucking expensive things are these days, it's such a statement of how much you value/care about the other person.

Like today, my coworker got me a Dr. Pepper from the vending machine cause she knows our manager recently screwed me over, and she wanted to show she appreciates me. It was such a simple gesture but it meant so much to me.

But also I think everyone should always have a list of things they'd love to be gifted but would probably never be. Things they may be embarrassed to ask for (things they're told they shouldn't like for a variety of reasons), things that seem to serve no purpose, seemingly silly things that serve no purpose other than making the recipient giggle every time they see it.

Anyways, I'm in kind of a weird mood and I'm curious what everyone's weird gift wish list would be. No pressure tagging some folks

Summary: This is set directly before ODIN Strikes shit gets real, nothing too much except enjoy this fic with some fluff!

As they arrived at the café, Arabella spotted Logan and David sitting at a table outside. They were deep in conversation, seemingly not realizing that Jacqueline's car had pulled up.

Arabella chuckled a little, shaking her head. “Looks like they're engrossed in their own world,” she said, unbuckling her seatbelt.

“You know your brothers too well, Bella” Jacqueline parked at the parking lot, switched off the engine and got out of the driving seat.

Arabella smiled, opening her door and getting out of the car. She walked around to the back door and opened it, letting Riley out.

“Yeah, they're both always in their own little world,” she said, patting Riley on the head. Riley jumped out, shaking himself off before trotting up to the café, his tail wagging.

Arabella followed behind Riley, with Jacqueline walking alongside him. They approached Logan and David's table, who looked up as they heard their footsteps.

“Hey, guys,” Arabella said, taking a seat at the table. Riley flopped down onto the ground next to his owner, panting.

“Looks like someone's tuckered out,” Logan said, looking at Riley who was sprawled out on the floor.

“Yeah, he had a little incident earlier,” Arabella said, shaking her head. She knew he had to tell them about Riley jumping on their aunt.

David raised an eyebrow, sensing the situation. “What kind of incident?” He asked, giving her a curious look. Arabella sighed, knowing she had to spill the beans. “He kinda… jumped on Aunt Jackie,” she he said, bracing herself for their reaction.

Logan and David both looked surprised at first, but then they burst into laughter.

“Riley, you old dog,” Logan said, shaking his head. “You never change.”

David chuckled, “He’s still as playful as ever.” He shook his head, smiling despite himself. He knew that he should be mad at Riley, but his antics always managed to amuse him.

“Yeah, he's a handful, alright,” Logan said, scratching Riley behind his ear. “But I guess we love him anyway.”

Logan took a sip of his coffee, shaking his head. “I don't know how you handle it, David,” he said, referring to Riley's antics. “He's like a bundle of energy that never seems to run out.”

David chuckled, patting Riley on the head. “It's a lot of work, that's for sure,” he said, looking at Riley who was now lying down, head resting on his leg. “But he's my loyal companion. I can't imagine life without him.”

Jacqueline nodded, smiling at the sight of Riley. “He can be a handful, but he's family," she said, before glancing over at David. "Speaking of family…”

Jacqueline leaned back in her seat, looking at David with a glint in her eyes. “There's something I've been meaning to talk to you about,” she said, pausing for a moment before continuing. "It's about your love life.”

Logan couldn't help but smirk at the mention of David's love life, knowing that it was a sensitive topic. David sighed, knowing that this was going to be a conversation he dreaded.

“What about my love life?” he asked, crossing his arms defensively.

“Is it the Ashford?” Jacqueline chuckled, taking a sip of her espresso, she was trying to mention Beth Ashford, daughter of Henry Ashford.

David groaned, knowing exactly what his aunt was talking about.

“Yeah, it's the Ashford” he said, a mixture of annoyance and resignation in his voice. Logan and Jacqueline exchanged knowing glances, amused by David's reaction. Then, Logan spoke up, teasing him.

“So, still haven't asked her out yet, huh?” he said, grinning.

David rolled his eyes, feeling slightly embarrassed. “It's not that simple,” he said, trying to defend himself.

“In what way?”

“Well, for starters, her father is our Captain, and he has made it clear that he disapproves of any… romantic involvement between his daughter and any of the team members. You could say that”

“Ay, don’t worry my dear nephew, you will win her heart” His aunt patted on her nephew’s back, atleast for comfort “Logan and Arabella are still young to find a love. But you Hesh.. you have a chance”

David smiled weakly at Jacqueline's words, appreciating the gesture. “Thanks, Aunt Jackie,”

Logan nodded in agreement, trying to lift David's spirits. “She's right, bro. You've got a shot if you play your cards right.”

Jacqueline saw Arabella finally arrive with the bill for her café fare. How long did she actually take?

“Sorry I took so long,” Arabella walked over to the table, holding the receipt for the food and drink she had just bought from the café, a guilty look on her face. “There was a huge line, and they were running low on pastries.”

David raised an eyebrow, amused by her excuse. “And how long did you wait in that line?” he asked, teasing her a little.

Arabella rolled her eyes playfully, grinning at David's lighthearted banter.

“Like forever, man,” she said, exaggerating for effect. “But it was worth it”

Logan chuckled, shaking his head at Arabella's teenage antics. “You gotta learn to be more patient, Bella,” he said, using her nickname.

“I am patient, thank you very much,” she said, defending herself. “But when it comes to good food, who can blame me for getting a little eager?”

“You 3.. needs chill out.”

“And you still haven't grown out of your love for sweets, I see," Jacqueline joked, referring to Arabella's well-known sweet tooth.

Arabella shrugged, grinning sheepishly. “What can I say? Sweet stuff is just too good to resist.”

“Seriously, you're going to have an unhealthy sugar addiction at this rate,” David chuckled, shaking his head at her response.

“You might as well start calling yourself the Candy Princess at this rate.” Logan chimes in, nudging Arabella playfully.

Arabella rolled her eyes, swatting Logan's hand away. “Oh, shut up! At least I don't have a weird obsession with protein shakes and fitness gadgets.”

“Hey, my obsession is called being healthy. You should try it sometime,” “Yeah, right. And I'm sure all those supplements are doing wonders for your social life.” “Wow, low blow, Bella. You know I'm saving myself for an intelligent woman who can appreciate my fitness philosophy.”

Jacqueline sighed and grimaced, realizing that it was difficult enough to keep the Walker siblings under control. “Alright, enough with the banter, you two,” she said, trying to rein them in.

“Thank God. Maybe now we can have a normal conversation,” the dirty blonde-haired teen said, feigning exasperation.

Logan grinned at her response, enjoying their banter. “Sure thing. So, what do you want to talk about then? Boys? Fashion? The latest episode of that teen drama you love?”

Arabella blushed at the mention of boys, quickly trying to change the subject. “Oh, uh… no. Not boys,” she said, fidgeting with her phone for a moment.

“Aww, looks like someone's got a secret crush,” he teased, a grin on his face.

Arabella blushed even more, shaking her head vigorously. “No, no, no, no. I do not have a crush on anyone,” she insisted, her cheeks turning redder by the second.

David and Logan exchanged amused glances, clearly not believing her denial. Arabella couldn't take much more of her cousins' teasing, so she made an excuse about needing to get her food order from the café. As she quickly rose and ran back into the cafe, David and Logan couldn't help but burst into laughter at her hasty retreat. Jacqueline chuckled, watching Arabella speed-walking back inside the cafe.

Since Koa is bigger and taller than Vasili, Charles, Aleks, Jodie and Abby. Do you think that the five of them might cuddle up or sleep on top of Koa like he’s a teddy bear?

Like when it’s time to take a nap or sleep. Koa wouldn’t mind of them sleeping on him or cuddling him.

Aleks and Jodie would be the first one to cuddle up on each of Koa’s side. While Vasili and Charles would be laying behind the two girls (whichever side) and having Abby sleeping on top Koa’s chest.

OH IMAGINED THAT SCENE!!!😭😭😭

The six of them who have went through rough times! Had finally got some peace and quiet!

I imagine that, perhaps, one time Koa and Jodie have been on a mission, they're travelling back; my mind sees the inside of a plane, or the back of a van. It's night, it's been exhausting and their mission was tough, long but successful.

Jodie tries her best to stay awake, unwilling to be vulnerable in such a way, but ultimately tiredness wins out over her will to remain awake and the next moment her head is slightly bowed and shoulders hunched.

I reckon there's either turbulence, a slight bump in the road depending on what vehicle you imagine (my brain can't decide which it wants) and Jodie becomes slumped against his arm. Koa would probably look down, notice that this woman is literally knocked out from tiredness. I think the teddy bear aesthetic here is adorable to imagine for him and can I just say that this is a show of trust from the woman. Another thing I imagine is how maybe Koa is napping in the safe house, sat on the sofa (can he fall asleep in any position cause he comes across as the type of person that literally could sleep on concrete and sleep well). While he's asleep, Jodie takes a seat next to him, puzzle book in hand and scribbling away at things, until he eyes start to sting and she closes the book. Then Aleks joined on his other side, having needed a reprieve from whatever work she had been doing.

Then perhaps Charles walks past, shakes his head at the sight but decides maybe they need something to cover themselves to keep them warm. But when he comes back with the blanket, he notice Vasili has situated himself next to Jodie, deciding to get in on the nap time (god knows what Adler had him doing, maybe he sent him after Jodie to give both Bells an earful or something and Vasili decided "uh no").

Now Charles just shakes his head again, sits next to Aleks. Before he knows it, the sleepiness has reached him. Abby appears and she's like "oh yes, best spot saved for me" which is Koa's chest and by the time everyone is together and asleep, the sofa is heaving with people. Of course, peace doesn't last forever and Adler comes in with pots and pans, clanging a load of metal together against each other.

No, seriously though, I think this is a lovely soft thing to think about and it shows how these OCs trust each other. I love it.

Tarooooo!! How would Kanoa would react if, during a training with Alicia, they part ways for some hours and the next time he has hints of Alicia is when he passed near a basement? Maybe by some kind of accident the door closed and trapped her inside, and despite she was banging on the door, it wasn't heard until Kanoa went looking for her.

When Kanoa opens the door and enters the basement, it's almost pitch black. And even then, he can notice Alicia's silhouette curled up against a wall. As soon as he gets near her, she looks up with absolute fear in her eyes.

"No more." She begs, trembling as she hugs herself, lost in the panic. "Please, no more. Just stop it, please."

Basically, when Alicia accidentally ended locked on the basement, it brought back traumatic memories from Angola. And since it lasted for hours, it just dragged her even deeper in her panic.

Talofa Wiiiiiiiitch! And oh my goodness! Alicia! The poor baby! 🥺

Ok! Kanoa DID have a feeling that Alicia wasn’t around. So he went to look for her and asked some of her recruits if they had seen her. Until one of them mentioned that she went to get something from the basement.

It shouldn’t take THAT long to get something from down there, right? Or maybe she was still looking for it. He didn’t think much but he went there anyway. To see if Alicia needs help. (Which she DEFINITELY need one)

When Kanoa saw that the basement door was closed, he thought that Alicia might’ve left. But something in his heart that it feels like it’s telling him to check inside QUICKLY. So he went without questioning.

And as soon as he opened the door, everything was pitched black. He doesn’t know why and he tried to find the light switch but saw that the light wasn't working. He needs to talk to Alicia about finding someone to fix it. And that’s when he heard a sniffle.

He was confused to hear SOMEONE crying. So he stepped inside further in, trying to adjust his eyesight as he saw a figure, curling up against the wall.

“Um…hello?” Kanoa tried to get that person’s attention but saw they did not respond. And as soon as he stepped closer, he saw it was Alicia. “Licia? Oh my god. What happened? Why are you curling up like this?”

And when Kanoa crouched down and reached out to her to tap her. He felt a bit surprised to see Alicia turning around and was scooting away from him. He was VERY confused until he saw her eyes. Her eyes were filled with FEAR.

“Licia…?”

“No…n-no more…please…” Alicia’s voice trembled like a broken record. “Please…no more…Just stop it, please…”

Kanoa was just crouching there to see his dear friend was tearing up and was shaken. It suddenly gave him a flashback. Back to where he had found Tiala from that mission. Seeing his sister, laying on that very hospital bed, all shaken and trembling when she saw him. Those eyes filled with fear and horror when she saw Kanoa. Showing how much they PAIN his poor sister.

And now seeing that image onto Alicia. The reflection of his friend. He could tell whoever had done it to her. They did her BADLY. And it gives him the urge to reach out to her but not too sudden. Because experiencing from the past of someone who has trauma. He needs to take it nice and slow.

“Licia. I won’t hurt you. I won’t touch you unless you want me to.” Kanoa’s voice started to soften on the shaken Alicia. He sat down on the ground while folding his legs as he gave her a soft smile. Reaching his hand out to her. “I promise I won’t do anything to you. I just want to talk.”

Imagining Alicia was just staring at him and then onto his hand. She hesitated before hearing his soft voice. It had slowly snapped her out of her traumatic imagination before seeing her best friend. Her tears still poured down as she reached out for his hand and took it.

Kanoa just smiled at her as he gently pulled her over and let her sit on his lap. “I’m here, Alicia. I’m here. And I won’t hurt you. I won’t harm you. You are safe.” His soft voice had gently gone through her ears as his friend started to relax.

Alicia closes her eyes a bit and lays her head against his chest. “I’m sorry…” Is what she said. Feeling so weak and embarrassed that Kanoa had to see her like this.

“Why are you saying sorry? You were just having that episode.” Kanoa said as he comforted her while rubbing her side. “I don’t blame you for it. We all have that. So don’t you dare saying sorry for something that you tried to get through. And I’m here for you every step of the way.”

Alicia had lifted her head up to look at her caring friend. Seeing his smile before getting a friendly kiss on top of her head. She smiled a bit and started to snuggle up against him. “Can…Can we stay like this for a bit?”

“As LONG as you need, o la'u uo.”

Wraith: Let him have it, Licia. You already have THREE. Alicia: But I want THIS one! Wraith: ......are you fucking complaining to me like a CHILD? Alicia: .......maybe. Wraith, glaring at her: FIXED that attitude. Alicia, sweat a bit: Ahem...okay. Kanoa: Yay! Alicia: Hmph.

What if one day, maybe while Alicia and Kanoa are passing the time inside the armory, he finds the badge from Operation Firewall? And when he asks Alicia, he notices how her look changed while she puts a hand over her burn scar instictively. Then, Alicia looks at him and finally tells him about that and about what happened to her...even showing him the only picture she kept from the 267.

Ok. So now it's MY turn to do an ANGSTY one shot. Alright then, let's do it!

So, Kanoa had already seen the badge of the Operation Firewall and that got him really curious about it. So once asking his best friend about this badge, he suddenly saw her face expression change. As if she was seeing something happen right there and then. And when Kanoa saw Alicia slowly touching the burnt scar that was on her face. He knows it's something that she wishes not to tell but also knows that she WANTS to.

So he gently reached out for her hand and gently squeezed it. Making Alicia look at him with her eyes that is almost filled with tears. She was trying to hold it back but when she saw her best friend's soft smile. She knew she could trust him to listen to what she had to say.

She took a deep breath before looking away but still held onto her dear friend's hand. "It's...It's one of those missions that I partake in." She slowly explained about it as she tried to hold back her tears and tell everything about what happened to that mission.

Kanoa was not surprised to be honest. Because after listening to her story about losing her team and making them suffer. While she watched them die in front of her eyes. He could tell that it scared her for LIFE. And it devastated her as well. He saw her removing her hand away from his and seeing his poor friend covering her face in shame and guilt.

"I...I kept hearing their screams. Then BEGGING me to do something, to SAVE them but...I have done NOTHING. No matter how hard I try to save them. To save my comrades. To save my team." Then there was a pause from her before she slowly lifted her head up a bit and stared at the wall. "To save those people who I called a FAMILY...they...they just suffered and died right in front of me..."

Kanoa felt his heart being so saddened to see her like this and seeing her tears coming out had really made him feel like crying as well. So he slowly scooted closer to her and gently wrapped both of his arms around her from behind.

Which she flinched as she was surprised to feel his comforting presence around her. "...Noa...will you be...MAD at me if that happened? If I failed to even protect them or your team?"

The Samoan Captain was in silence after hearing that question. He had a feeling that she's asking this because someone ELSE might be blaming Alicia for it. He hugged her close from behind and tightly while laying the side of his face against her back. "To be honest...I WOULD be mad. If it happens to my sister and my team that I trust you will take care."

Alicia had paused for a moment when she heard that answer. She sighs as she looks down to the ground. She wouldn't blame him for being mad at her if that happened to them. And she understands how Kanoa felt about his team, including his sister. She would be mad at herself too which she always does ever since she lost her own. Why would he NOT be mad at her? He trusted her and it's understandable that he would put his hate and blame on her. Just like that certain someone she knew...

"And I have every right to be mad at you. After putting my trust in you to take care of my team." Kanoa continued talking while still hugging her. "BUT...All those things that I MIGHT say to you. There is no reason for me to say it. Yes, of course. I'm upset but the words that came out from my mouth are out of anger NOT my true feelings."

Alicia perked her head up a bit before glancing at Kanoa. She was confused about what he was trying to say.

Kanoa sighs before leaning his head back and just placing his chin on her shoulder. While closing his eyes. "What I'm trying to say is. I'll be angry, yes. But I won't be angry at you FOREVER. Because you are my best friend. And my team cared and trusted you. And I know that THEY know that you have tried. You did your BEST. They know what they've signed up for and they can't blame you." He tilted his head forward to look at Alicia as he gave her a warm smile. "And that's how I believe that your team will say the same thing. They KNOW and they will always know. That their Captain had done her best to protect them. Even through pain and suffering that they have experienced. They know it's not your fault."

Alicia was just stunned by his words as she could feel her heart was aching so much. It made tears show in her eyes as she couldn't hold it back. Kanoa smiled at her before letting her turn around and allowing her to hug him tightly. Which he gladly accepted and hugged her back. Rubbing her back as he let her sobbed against his chest.

The two Captains had stayed like this for a while as Kanoa kept holding her close. Kissing on top of her head to comfort and kept telling her that it's not her fault. NOTHING is her fault.

"K-Kanoa..." Alicia started to sob out his name as she gripped onto the back of his uniform.

"Ssssh...I'm here for you, Alicia. I always will. And no matter what you did. I will ALWAYS forgive you." Kanoa said it softly while rubbing her back. He made sure that she is comfortable and safe.

Alicia sniffled as she lay her head against his chest and slowly glanced up. "Can...Can we stay like this...?"

She could see his smile and a confirmed nod before he pulled her close. "As long as you need, Licia." He could see Alicia closing her eyes as he started to hum a bit of tune to calm her. Before he saw his sister walked in to see this.

"...is she-"

He placed a finger over his lips to give Tiala the hint to not wake their friend up.

Tiala understood as she nodded and slowly walked back. "I'll just tell her team and ours that you two are on break." She said it softly.

Kanoa smiled at her. "Fa'afetai, sis."

Soon his sister left them alone as Kanoa continued to hum while keeping Alicia close.

Kanoa will always make sure that Alicia knows how much he cares for her. And he is telling the truth of how he will react. But no matter how upset he is with her. He will ALWAYS be her Best of Friend! He cared for her as much as he cared for his sister!
