Just out of curiosity, what happened to the 2 Faced Soul AU? Is that still going? I really liked it while it lasted, assuming it’s been cancelled.

I'll be honest, I was working on the next comic for a while, and I admittedly....fell burned out of it.

I was kinda forcing myself to continue when I didn't really feel passionate about it anymore at that point, especially with my work life decreasing the amount of time to dedicate to my art over the years, yeah. Sorry for those that we're interested, maybe if deltarune chapter 3 comes out soon I might be interested in going back, but I just wasn't interested in it anymore, sorry.

the main """""plot"""" revolves just trying to save hakase before she gets thrown into a meat grinder and at the end of the day hakase learns a very important lesson about treating her things nicer

the darkners all love nano though as shes sort of a robot and they admire her for being so strong and resilient in the face of the mad scientist. shes like a martyr for them LMFAO

specifically maybe like fuckin biscuit 2 or something makes the dark fountain he heard his bretheren crying out for revenge and took the plunge to give them let their voices be heard

maybe the dark world would be steam punk based. i dont know ive never been good at designing fantasy stuff

in particular the dark world split them up because of how differently they felt about each other. nano (robot body)s darkner form is a lot more negative and depressing about things

But I gave her clothes back because her design was too plain for my liking. So it's not unused but changed.

Originally I wanted to make the Ketsukane's more kitsune-like with multiple tails. There was supposed to be a stab with how Ceroba didn't have a tail in game with her only having one tail in my AU. But that just made it look like I'm calling her stupid. So it was scrap. But this is an idea I want to rework one day.

Well... Originally, the time between Kanako falling down and leaving the True Lab wasn't the almost 2 years that it's now in my AU canon. Originally, it was supposed to be a 5-year gap. But I found it too long for poor Kanako, so it was shorted to almost 2 years. But part of the original plan that was also scrapped because of that change was the plan of having Sadie and GK outgrowing Kanako.

Yeah... Originally, those two were planned to outgrow Kanako so she would have a new set of monster friends. But it was scrapped. And thank god it was. I feel in love with Sadie and GK since I started to make them Kanako's BFFs for this AU. (And originally GK didn't have hair or a tail) But these designs were later reused for their teen designs for my Deltarune Yellow AU.

Never throw out your unused stuff. It may be useful later.

Originally, Tom had a missing tooth and a shoelace missing in one of his shoes.

These things weren't originally meant to be scrapped... I just forgot. But by the time I remembered, Tom already had appeared with all of his teeth and none of his shoelaces in some posts. So those design choices were scrap.

But it was changed because Melody sounded better.

Hello! I decided to take a crack at redesigning one of the oldest ocs I have!

Echo was a self-insert Undertale oc I originally made eight years ago. Looking back on it, I was just starting to come out of a... not so great time in my life and having a fandom to get really into that wasn't horror was very good for my mental health (and sleep schedule).

The original concept behind her was human (me) dies and is turned into a monster through ~*magic*~. While her design isn't bad, it doesn't match Undertale's character design or me, so I wanted to give her another shot.

Design Process Below:

First things first, she's not going to look like an angel anymore. It feels very 'the first character you make in DnD is an elf and they're graceful and nmnmnm'. Having her concept be that she's a human who dies and is resurrected was a great opportunity to make them a ghost who possesses a robot like MTT or MMM.

Inspirations:

Instead of Echo being a sexy anime robot like MTT, I wanted to take inspiration from some of my interests both then and now.

MTT (obviously) and some au variations like US! Napstabot

Prophet and Prototype from One Shot. While I don't think I've ever mentioned how much I liked this game to anyone in 2016, but I LOVED this game. Honestly, it still holds up and the soundtrack is great to write essays to. The original Echo was actually partially inspired by Alula from that game, and I wanted to bring some of that love back for the redesign.

That one Dj from Deltarune Ch 2 was also an inspiration. Combined with Prophet and Prototype, they really helped me draw and emote the digital camera inspired face.

I wanted to challenge myself and show my growth as an artist by emoting something without most of a face. I also really like photography and wanted to bring some of that in.

Pieces I wanted to keep from original Echo's design:

The one eye

The use of wings- this isn't direct, but I wanted to use some moth shape language in their head with the antennae and hair as a small call back to the angel theme of the original

The name- She's an Echo of the human she used to be

Echo flowers- They like stories, videos, music, etc. While I didn't keep the single echo flower in the hair, I wanted to include this element in the ghost design

The almost monochromatic color scheme- While tinted by the mirror, 2016 has a very blue color scheme. I decided to throw the rich aesthetic blues out the window and go with a neon green color palette. She's passionate and can be a little annoying at times but it's never malicious. They lose at hide and seek every time.

Things that I wanted to include but don't have a clean category for:

The segments of their chest look like autopsy scars

The combination of one eye and potentially four arms is just so fitting. ADHD nah not me who's that never heard of it

Why I chose green: I would either be a kindness or patience soul and green has just kind of become 'my color' as the years have gone by for haha name pun reasons so they get to look like the outside of a watermelon

I imagine them as pretty short like somewhere in the Frisk range maybe a little shorter. It just makes the big hair and hovering more fun, like maybe she uses them to be taller when getting serious or to hover over puddles.

Its either shorts or cargo pants there is no in between and the jacket is more formal looking to reflect the fact that she is an adult despite their height.

"DELTARUNA" - A Deltarune AU Set In... Brazil? / Pt. 2

DELTARUNA is a silly AU idea that came to my mind and overtook my soul. I have no control over it anymore. Anyway, it is a way to explore certain themes and everyday realities of Brazillian culture, especially in the Southeast portion of the country. Now, as you have been warned before, THIS IS A MEGAPOST. Click that "Keep Reading" and you're in for a ride. ⚠️This is based on the worldview of a single person, from experiences both lived, heard and seen. ⚠️Another important thing: This is just for fun and should be taken as a work of fiction! ⚠️I will be citing sources for statistics and certain specific points, most of which are in Portuguese Please read Part 1 here before continuing to Part 2, else you may be a little lost. TW: Underage drinking & drugs, kidnapping, police corruption, bullying and child neglect. I don't think this Part adds anything else.

Part 15 - Chapter 1 / The Legend of Deltaruna Actually begins! Woah, that took a while. So, Kris wakes up and there is an entity controlling their actions. We don’t know the nature of this arrangement just yet, but this isn’t an entirely unheard of concept, not only for Kris, but for other people as well. Regardless of what it may be, Kris still has class to go to, and their mom might be late because of them. Hurry up!

Getting to class late is as embarrassing as it sounds, especially with your mother still guiding you when you’re 17, but luckily for Kris they just started and almost no one saw that. Now, normally Noelle would be here with Berdly for the group project, but she’s off in private school. Instead, we’ll pair up Berdly with Temmie, because Eg is unavailable.

People in class tell Kris that they already have a pair, and our dearest teacher Alphys (Alfreda…?) is about to let our main enby fly solo, but would you look at that? Suzana slams the door open. Is she late? No, no. Just in time! Suzana and Kris are now paired up. But oh no! There’s no chalk! Whatever they will do? Kris, Susie, go check on the supply closet!

Kris and Susie go out, and it turns out she stole the chalk, and ate it right in front of Kris! For sure, this will be the last drop to get her expelled, and not everything else. She picks them up and slams them against the… lockers…? Well, I personally have never studied in a school that has lockers for every student. I vaguely remember that some colleagues in my last year of high school had lockers, but I’m 95% sure it was reserved for students who had work after school, like say, Catti! That could also be a completely fake memory of mine. It has been very long since I graduated and all. Anyway.

Susie slams Kris into the single locker in the entire school, because it hurts more. Then she does her whole spiel about eating their face off, which ngl, would look very suspicious to anyone looking at them. They go off, and bada bim bada boom, Dark World.

Now, while I don’t personally think most aspects of the Dark World would change, there’s some things I think are worth talking about! First is Kris’s appearance. Normally they resemble a pretty generic European medieval knight, but I’d like to propose a few small alterations to better fit with a more Brazilian approach — More specifically as a reference to Saint George, a pretty notable figure in Catholicism over here. Again, check [4].

So, the short of it is that Seu Jorge is pica and kills a dragon [29, 30]. Hopefully this isn’t a reflection of anything else in the future chapters… He’s also the saint patron of soldiers and warriors alike. Kris now has black armor and a red scarf with a darker color scheme, and uses a spear instead of a sword, as a reflection of the depictions of Saint George. Maybe this is also to show they secretly root for Flamengo.

Susie will be staying the same, mostly because Brazil does not have any popular analogies to the “berserk” archetype of mythological figures. I am sure there are folktales about warriors that embody animalistic aspects to them, but I don’t think any of them particularly fit our friend Suzana.

And of course, Ralsei. Let’s talk about Ralsei.

Part 16 - The Dark World Ralsei… Antônio Junior is still a very mysterious character. We don’t have confirmation for a lot of things about him, but we have theorized a few things. Like say, maybe he’s the devil horns Kris had, maybe they know about the Player way more than he lets on, and most importantly for our funny little AU: Ralsei, affectionately called Juninho, is probably a reflection of what Kris wanted to look like as a child.

I don’t think a lot would have changed, but the idea he just randomly goes “Bah!” like how Asgore would, as a Gaúcho, is really funny. There’s also a joke about effeminate men somewhere in here, but I’ll save that for the Brazillians. As for everything else, Ralsei can stay the same.

The game part of it would stay mostly the same. Chess, checkers and jigsaws are common games to play around here. What I really want to change up is the cards. While yes, we do use regular playing cards for everything, I think it would be a lot cooler to change them into a little thing called Truco.

Truco is an extremely popular card game that’s played here in South America, in either 1v1 or 2v2. The gist of it is basically “My card is higher than yours!” but it has a lot of intricacies and rules that allow you to lose your mind [31]. Truco in São Paulo, where our story takes place, uses the typical French playing cards. BUT, if we consider that Toriel gave some of Asgore’s old things to the school, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say there’s a Spanish set of playing cards instead, which is the one used in the deep south.

Why does that matter? Because the Spanish figures are different from the French ones [32]. Diamond shapes become gold coins. Hearts become cups. Little clovers become actual clubs. And the spades? Oh, those are swords. Lancer, or Lanceiro as we’ll call him, is now a little sword wielding little Valete. Look at it go!

That also means King is three times more dangerous with an actual big “go die” sword. Nothing the power of friendship can beat though! Oh, and there’s also Jevil — A Joker card, which goes unused (Forgotten, eh?) in Truco. Joker translates to Curinga, and did you know Curinga comes from the Kimbundu language? While most sources say the word comes from Kuringa, which means Kill, I can’t find a reliable source for that. I did find this dictionary [33], and words similar to Kuringa exist in it, with fitting associations to Jevil still, but nothing definitive. Still pretty cool!

Kris and Susie become friends after this Dark World adventure, sealing the first dark fountain.

--//--//-- Part 17 - Chapter 2 / É Um Mundo Cyber Kris wakes up to an earful by their mother, rightfully so. Their sorry ass ate like a whole ass pie and the Ginsu 2000 knife they used for it is right there as evidence. Zero shame. They go to class, endure Bernardo’s annoying rambling, fall asleep and then get with Susie to go to the Dark World, but then something happens! Noelle is at their school for some reason! Berdly asked to meet up with her after class, to go to the public library to study for his project. As a way for Noelle to “Further her academic studies!” Temmie is uh, busy doing her part of the assignment. By herself. Noelle also uses this opportunity to be a failgirl around Susie and try to flirt, since it’s their first proper interaction. Unlike the game, I feel like she’d extend a genuine invite to Kris to hang out with her too, rather than keeping them second plane. It’s their first honest interaction in years, and maybe she points out she has a few notes from her extra classes she could share with them. She leaves, they do the Dark World stuff, then our dynamic duo is off to the library. However, little do our heroes know they’re about to brave the charted territory that is Brazilian internet culture… Well, this actually would be a lot more interesting to see as in-actual-game content rather than text, so just imagine a bunch of memes about stray caramel dogs, television program parrots and soap operas with funny names. Queen is still a laptop, just a considerably worse one. Public electronic appliances are rarely kept in good shape. Maybe she stutters and lags and has to reboot often. Poor woman. Then we get to the roller coaster scene! Noelle can’t say no to anyone, so now she’s twisted and evil, and the one and only, THE MAN himself shows up: BERNARDO. I’d like to personally make Berdly either Carioca or Capixaba. I just think it would be really funny. His dark world design is mainly inspired by Star Fox and Smash Bros. Melee, but I think we will lean more heavily on the Dragon Ball Z influence. Brazil and South America as a whole has a deep love and appreciation for that franchise, and I think seeing that reflected in his design would be cool. Maybe something more akin to Vegeta’s armor, rather than Fox’s getup. O Esquadrão Foda then fights the extinct parrot, falls into the trash heap and splits, with Kris separating themselves from Ralsei and Susie. Reluctantly, Kris now has the power of dancing dog signs. Kris finds Noelle, and she hides from Queen, then she hides from Berdly. With no triple trucies, Kris and Noelle march onwards.

--//--//-- Part 18 - This Chapter Is So Long??? Now, Kris and Noelle kind of catch up. She gets pranked with mice, not so different from when they were kids. They tell her about how battles work, just like how they taught her about playing cards ages ago. Both get offered matching couples Havaianas and Kris, surprisingly, just agrees that they are friends. It’s nice that things haven’t changed so much after all, right? They deal with Queen again, and then Berdly again, then they get the banana, which is very cheap here. Then, Kris gets face to face with the sexyman himself: Spamton Gabriel Spamton. Now, Spamton’s offerings wouldn’t be too different here. The ability to control your life again — Freedom. So of course, Kris is a sly dog. They aren’t letting this chance pass them. Kris reunites with Noelle, then with their friends Suzana and Juninho. Noelle and her shameless horndog lesbian brain uses this opportunity to stare at Susie’s tail — Take that however you will. Then they get captured, Lanceiro slashes to the rescue and the rest is history… Search History. Bird History? We learn of Bernardo’s struggles with education — Maybe he takes extra classes not because he’s ultra smart, but because he genuinely has some struggles learning. The spelling bee could have been a community event or competition of sorts, and given Carol’s shift into politics, getting to participate in these events isn’t that odd to boost her popularity. Lancer turns into stone, Susie and Berdly launch the plan to rescue Noelle, while Kris and Ralsei go on their boat ride adventure. Juninho opens up about his problems with friendship and self image, and we’ll have Kris be a good parça to toothpaste boy. Roulx Kaard gets destroyed by explosives. Susie and Noelle have their moment together, with Susie maybe mentioning a party she went to as the reason to never bully Noelle — Giving someone your drink is the highest form of respect after all… Noelle opens up about the scary things, about her sister, you know the drill. Bitches be gay. Then BERNARDO shows up. Whatever. Where’s that sexyman anyway?Kris takes a detour. They go back to the trash heap, and speak to Gabriel Spamton about what’s going on. It’s weird, freaky and they don’t like it, but hey, a deal’s a deal. They grab the KeyGen (which btw, always has BANGER music) and get to it. With the EmptyDisquete now becoming the LoadedDisquete, Kris returns to the basement, and this time around there’s something special waiting for them. Sadly, it doesn’t work. Until it does, and now Gabriel is going to kill you. After dealing with [O GERENTE FICOU MALUCO!], Kris has what’s commonly referred to as a “Valid Crashout”, and I think both Ralsei and Susie are a little bit more aware of it, and caring for Kris in this AU. Brazillians and South Americans as a whole are known for their hospitality, and I think translating that to caring for your friends is 100% valid. Kris, now being a [MANDA CHUVA], goes on to deal with Queen. Win the fight, lose the cutscene, get lectured on what the Dark Fountains will do, seal the dark fountain, etc. You know how it goes.

Part 19 - The Aftermath A lot of things happen post Chapter 2 Dark World. First, Rudy in the hospital. Noelle freaks out once Kris shows up there with Susie and cuts her visit short, but Rudy still talks with our friend Kris. They just catch up some more, assuming they already visited in Chapter 1, but with Rudy kind of entrusting her safety to Kris and Susie. The situation in the hospital doesn’t look good. Second, the Bunker. Oh boy, the Bunker. We don’t really have bunkers here in Brazil, at least not from the top of my mind, so there wouldn’t be any sort of mystery regarding that type of structure. We do have abandoned buildings, yes, but I’d like to propose a different option to replace this mysterious locale… The humble, yet still all mysterious, radio tower. Radio is still pretty popular here in Brazil, for a variety of reasons. Driving your car? Turn on the radio. Want to hear about a soccer match? Turn on the radio. Want to just have some noise during the work hours without getting into trouble? Turn on the radio. Regardless of your conundrum, the radion is there for you. It is also always on the horizon — Always a red dot in the sky. From personal experience, I have lived beside a radio tower for a good while. I have never seen anyone go in, or anyone coming out. Maybe once, twice a year at best, and still! Tall rusty gates, shock fences, warning signs, isolated locations… It makes up for a pretty mysterious place — And just as inaccessible as a bunker (At least for teenagers with too much free time). Put it atop a harsh mountain incline with lots of vegetation, and you have yourself a perfectly mysterious spot — Make that near where Dess disappeared, and we’re gold. Susie jumpscares MC and José, then turns to check on Kris. With everything being okay, they make their way to the beach, to watch the waves for a while, before going back home. Susie is about to leave, when Toriel slams the door open and invites Susie to stay for a while, since Kris has, in fact, not had any friends over ever since they moved. Imagine how wild the experience must be for Susie. Someone’s home. Not house, or weird shack they spent the night in, or back of the truck still moving, but home. With all of their things they had since they were little. Even if Kris moved 5 or 6 years ago, it’s still way more time than Susie ever spent in a single spot. I can guarantee you, it is a rather weird thing! Then there’s the whole visiting a friend’s house deal. Anyway, Susie is about to learn that bakery is all about weighing things, while Kris Sonhadorr gets that pesky little thing out of their body. Time passes, Toriel activates curfew mode and invites Susie to stay. Even if she’s a girl, it’s fine, as long as Toriel watches them every single second of the night. Kris and Susie fall asleep watching some movie reprises on Globo TV. Toriel follows soon after, and then Kris “does the funny”. Things are about to get M Rated… (They aren’t. Don’t worry, that's a joke.)

Part 20 - Chapter 3 / Horário Nobre Susie and Kris wake up in a Dark World, Ralsei shows up and explains that Darkners are just objects, Susie tells him she cares anyway, and our friend Antenna interrupts them with the funniest game show to ever grace the airwaves. Now, much like Chapter 2, a lot of what could be translated into this AU would work better as in-game jokes. Brazilian Television is insane. There are way too many jokes, about way too many different channels that could be made at any given point in time. As for the console they play during the Board Sections, that could be a Nintendinho (NES), since the Mega Drive wouldn’t fit the retro aesthetics that well. Bootleg consoles were pretty normal for a while, in case you were wondering that too! Board one goes fine. Not much deviation. Then we get the secret board one, with Ramb offering Kris “Freedom. REAL fun.” And we both know Kris, in this AU, can’t refuse either  of those two things, even if their life was on the line. The game screws them up badly, but sadly this is just board one. There’s more to come. Board two goes fine. Not much deviation — Actually can we PLEASE make them dress up and play as a pagode group, like Exaltasamba? It would be WICKED to see Susie rocking the pandero and actually being good at it, or Kris with a panamá hat, and Ralsei singing some ultra sappy love song. Secret board two happens. Kris was used up. Fricked up, man… Anyway. Tenna SNAPS and we begin the whole “Tenna Stop” Arc. Instead of cowboys, we can have them dress up in traditional Gaúcho attire — Kris’s father is from there anyway, so the hat, scarf, pants and boots stay ON during the horse scene. The cute pajama costumes can stay the same, except Kris is colored caramel. We move on to secret board three. Man. Shadow Mantle Acquired. Susie barges in, and she honestly would have very little knowledge on video games in this AU, but maybe would really like to get into them, so she pretends she knows stuff. Then our little pixel Kris goes to “kill” Susie, and Kris springs into action to pull her in. That’s pretty intimate, Kris. Don’t go catching feelings now. Tenna gets dealt with, Susie gives him a very honest pep-talk about feeling wanted, and finding a spot in the world, and whatnot. You know how it goes. Tenna gets smashed to bits, and a strange figure shows up. Who’s that you say?

Part 21 - That’s Probably Dess Or well, it’s the Roaring Knight. The Horsemen of the Apocalypse in Portuguese are referred to as the Knights, so keeping the Knight Aesthetic for this character is completely okay, even more so when they are bringing the Roaring into reality. As for their baseball bat-sword, I’d like to propose a small change.

Baseball isn’t a popular sport here in Brazil, and not many popular sports here use any sort of tool to play [34]. Sure, table tennis is there, but that’s a bit silly. I’d like for Dess to use a Bets-bat instead. What’s Bets, you ask? Bete-Ombro is a kind of street child play, composed of two teams: Batters and Throwers. Throwers will try to hit a small target near the Batter’s feet with a ball, while the Batters will use their bats to smack the thrown ball away. Then, they have to run towards each other and smack their bats together to score points [35].

You need at least 4 people to play it.

Normally, you just use any sort of stick to play, but if you’re rich enough, you can definitely spend a little on a Bets-bat. Sounds like a certain snow addicted reindeer, huh???

Anyway, Dess SWOONS the Lanceiro Futebol Clube into the B-Division immediately once Suzana zicou a parada toda, tlg…  but not before she snaps a piece off the Bets-bat.

Civil Cop Diana shows up (That’s Undyne), confused as hell, and gets kidnapped by the Knight. Susie and Kris chase after it, all the way to the radio tower, jumping the front gate, but busting through the actual door requires a pass code. Suzana leaves.

Kris stays, and the door slides open.

Part 22 - Chapter 4 / Profecia Dark Fountain closed, night slept through, morning comes and it’s time to go to church — After Susie has the best breakfast of her life, of course. Now, while there is nothing wrong with Susie wearing Asriel’s old clothes (I am sure that Toriel wouldn’t mind), it would also be fitting of her as a Crentona da Igreja that she would instead give Susie some of HER old clothes. Would Susie wear a long skirt, light blouse and a leather blazer? That’s entirely up to you… I lied, that’s up to me. It’s what she’s wearing now. She Look Very Nice. Then, at the church, Kris and Susie do shenanigans, and lo-and-behold, Rudy is there! And Noelle too! Truly a blessed day indeed. Considering Susie wants to see if anyone knows anything about the old radio tower, you two get to sleuthing. Well, Kris does. Suzana is more interested in the fake grape juice they’re offering. Sermão iradíssimo, meu patrão. Eventually, Susie walks up to Noelle to get to her house, and Noelle’s shameless horndog lesbian brain gets up to no good again. Through immaculate charisma, Susie gets Noelle to agree to work on “their projects”. It would be really funny if Susie has no idea that Noelle doesn’t really need to do the project — She’s not even from the same school, but she’s willing to help anyway. Noelle hesitates at first, but quickly accepts it — And doesn’t find Kris’s presence to be that weird. Her desire to reconnect comes off more strongly. Since Berdly isn’t her partner, he doesn’t get invited. Sorry Bernardo. Susie and Kris jump off these clothes and back to their usual — GOD, did I even mention Kris wears a Brazil Soccer Team Jacket from Asriel instead of the sweater? Just reimagine everything I said with that design in mind, thank you. Most town scenes remain the same, the scenes in the Dark World would be particularly dramatic — Especially since Susie would absolutely despise the idea that Ralsei doesn’t deserve a room. Then we get to the Holiday Mansion. Oh Boy. Kris removes the Player from their body and starts enacting the Holiday Administration Plans. No amount of natural forces or undead spirits will keep them from it. That chocolate milk bottle = alcohol analogy? We can bump that up to actual alcohol, that enby’s day drinking expensive wine now. Their mother would NOT be proud. Susie gets her hands on the guitar, Carol gets home and Oh Boy. Noelle is already shaking in the actual game, it would only be worse here since these are not even schoolmates — It’s some no name almost homeless girl, touching HER daughter’s things, and being around the MAYOR’S daughter. I think it’s important to mention now that this wouldn’t be like a small community of isolated monsters, it’s more of an actual busy city, so “The Mayor’s Daughter” carries a lot more importance behind it. Anyway. Onto the Church!

--//--//-- Part 23 - The First Sanctuary The Dark World of the Church could be very different depending on how we want to make this. Usually, Evangelical churches aren’t too different from the one in game, minus the fancy glass art. If we want to make the church have some more historical significance to it though, having a decorated ceiling or the presence of smaller saint figures would be okay — But it would alter the visual of the Dark World. So let’s imagine that instead of the sprawling library the church appears as in-game, it’s instead an art gallery, with large pieces depicting holy imagery relating to the Prophecy, alongside our pretty glass panels. The musical motif is still there, and the ashes of our friend Gilson (He’s Old!) are still in there, with Father Alves. Something that isn’t there though, sadly, is Jackenstein. Brazil does not celebrate halloween. You know what we celebrate? Carnival [36]. And that’s an extremely religious holiday, as a period of excessive partying and eating, just before fasting for Ash Wednesday. It is colorful, impactful and it is a part of our culture that, while celebrated, it’s also stereotyped [37]. Some people here think it’s bad, controversial or a waste of money. To those people I say: Just take a moment to genuinely try to enjoy it. Nowhere else in the world something like this happens, and unique experiences can always enrich your life. Why would Carnival allow us to replace Jackenstein? Because Carnival has beautiful, detailed costumes alongside it, and keeping one at a church wouldn’t be weird at all. So we go from spooky pumpkin man to colorful, maybe a bit too bright, rainbowy feathery bird. Kris plays the piano. This isn’t a part that changes in the AU or anything, I just want you to remember that scene. It is beautiful. Suzana has an emotional moment with Gerson, who has been teaching her all this time, and she gets the JusticeAxe. Now we wait for her to get the LawAxe and the ExecutiveAxe, eh? Anyone? No? Well that’s a government joke for you. Nobody likes ‘em, nobody wants ‘em. Small Fountain Sealed, Susie learns Gilson is fricking dead, then she opens up about the piano thing happening in her life. Public pianos are common in malls, at least from my experience. For her, travelling around all her life? Even more so. She borrows the Tramontina Knife Kris carries around and makes her own Dark World. Kris just witnessed like the hottest thing they’ll ever see in their life.

--//--//-- Part 24 - The Second Sanctuary The Second Fountain shows us a lot more of the prophecy, and remember when I said it wouldn’t be as set in-stone as the one in game? I think that shows best here. The Prophecy doesn’t speak on who are the heroes, but what one must do in order to achieve that heroic status, so they may fulfill the prophecy. This might sound good! It isn’t. The Third Hero, The Prince, alone in deepest dark. That’s Ralsei! Not someone that came from it, but someone that will have to plunge into darkness and isolate themselves as far and as deep down as they can. This would explain Ralsei’s incredible lack of self-worth — The more people stay away from him, the easier it will be for him to immerse himself in solitude. The First Hero, The Cage, with human soul and parts. That’s Kris! Not a human containing a spirit, but someone that will have to dismantle themselves to the bare minimum for the sake of containing this force inside them. No wonder they don’t want anyone knowing about the Player — If they did, they might try to stop Kris. The Second Hero, The Girl, with hope crossed on her heart. That’s Susie! Love finds its way to her. Gonna be honest with you, I got nothing for this one. Way too vague, might not even be about Susie, but Noelle instead. Still, LOVE can’t be anything good in these universes. You know what’s funny about all of this? They’re no longer traditional heroes. They’re martyrs. Suzana and Kris fight fake Gilson. Ralsei shows up and reveals they know a bit too much about the prophecy.

Part 25 - O Lugar Onde Choveu Kris and their good friends, Suzana and Juninho, make their way to the Dark Fountain. They all share a tender moment alongside the force of nature controlling Kris, and then have to deal with the exaggerated swagger of a rich reindeer. The Roaring Knight summons the Titan. A Gangue Divertida beats the hell out of it with Gilson’s help. Old Man Neg Diff or something, I have never powerscalled in my life. Susie learns the end of the prophecy. Ralsei breaks down, but remains resolute. Kris, whatever’s going on with them, starts having doubts. It is miserable. The rain is awful. There is no hope left on planet Brazil. Kris steps into their house— Is that SANDRO BAIXO-CONTO, PAULISTA SAFADO HITTING ON YOUR MOM?! So yeah Sans owns like the little market shop on the corner of the block, there’s probably some Skol plastic chairs around it, people gather there to drink and chill there on the weekends. He roots for Grêmio FBPA, for some reason. Anyway, he’s dancing some sertanejo de sofrência (country music for “people that have been cheated on”) with your mom, and she’s drunk, and it’s loud. Susie, having 99% chance of having an alcoholic father, decides that now’s the time to dip. Getting drunk is one thing, having to deal with a drunk parent is another one entirely. Eventually they stop. And when they do, you’re surprised to hear Susie outside. She’s promising you that the prophecy won’t happen. Maybe, just maybe, you all won’t end up as martyrs. You want to go after her. You need to tell her— The phone rings. Don’t forget Kris. You promised.

If you’re not from Brazil, I hope that this post has introduced you to some of my country’s wonderful, rich, complicated and sometimes problematic culture. Though I have used a lot of sources through this to back up my claims and ideas, remember that in the end they’re just that — Statistics! They may be a mirror into our reality, but they’re not applicable to every person living here. They could be more refined, but just for an AU they’re solid enough. The decisions characters take and changes made to the story are meant to be a form of entertainment — Not a direct comparison to the real world. Please don’t go out there thinking every rich kid is doing drugs, or that every cop is corrupt. Be sensible. Always favor your own lived experience. If you are from Brazil, I hope this was a fun way to see these characters! I’m sure most of us already have a lot to deal with in our everyday lives, so don’t take it too seriously if you personally disagree with something. Remember — We could be from the same city and still live vastly different lives. Be open to new points of view! As for some of the unsourced stuff in there, all I got to say is: I try to live a pretty interesting life. Try to make yours interesting too — You only get one and all that. undertale / deltarune au pt 1

i dont really have a name for this au yet, but it's basically the same story but with a bit extra background lore and more of the humans are connected.

arianna was the first child of the faraway family. despite being a talented child, she was abused and hit if she didn’t live to expectations. a year after she was born, she had a brother named frisk. three years after frisk, the faraway family had its third and last child, kristopher.

arianna knew by the time kris was born that her parents sucked. she vowed to protect kris and frisk from her parents and humanity. so thirsty for vengeance against humanity, whoever would hurt frisk or kris would get stabbed, and in worst cases killed by her. kris and frisk, despite glad being protected by arianna, knew what she was doing was very wrong and messed up. kris spent most of his time alone, while frisk liked exploring and would do dangerous things.

after a while, her parents found out about how dangerous arianna was, and tried to send her to jail or juvenile many times. at this point, arianna had been doing so many dangerous things to “protect” her brothers that it was just sick and twisted. after a while, she was sick of everything. for a brief bit, she realized what she was doing was wrong, but she wanted to finish what she started. at this point, she wanted to kill—no, destroy humanity.

tired of everything, she heard of the tale that whoever tries to climb mt. ebott are never seen again. when she was eleven, she climbed mt. ebott and fell down into the underground, wanting to stop feeling everything. except she didn’t die. she was saved by… flowers?

found by asriel for the first time, her first instinct was to kill him. she didn’t have any weapons on hand, though. asriel interpreted it as just being frightened. arianna faraway acted as if she didn’t remember her name. she had fallen down, after all. when asked for her name, she could’ve just said ari. it wouldn’t have been hard. but she didn’t. she didn’t want to feel the pain that could be felt. eventually, she decided it was fine for a name. her new family, she didn’t trust. if humans were this way, why can’t monsters be so too? in the end, she chose what fit right. chara dreemurr. arianna faraway… was dead.

at this point, she had a plan for humanity to die. six. six, plus her, plus asriel’s soul, and then they would become a god. she tried getting her plans into action, out of force. asriel didn’t know why. but chara was his sister. he could trust her, right?

chara, buried under the same place she fell down, died unpeacefully. her plan failed. asriel resisted.

humans really are all the same.

frisk, heartbroken, thinking his sister must’ve died from mt. ebott, had the determination to try to save her himself. he knew deep down it was a stupid idea. she’s probably already dead. it’s not worth it. what if I die? he just wanted to stay with kris and his family. but knowing his family and what they’ve done to arianna, ruining her mindset and making her commit suicide, frisk thought it was the right idea. he wanted to convince kris to come down with him, as he seemed depressed as well at the time, but he refused. “I’ll come when I want to. not now.”

frisk climbed the mountain. screaming out arianna’s name. but nobody came. falling down, and down… he forgot what his own purpose for this trip was. chara’s soul, reawakened by hearing frisk yell her old name, was confused. don’t make me suffer again. why am I still here?! and after everything she went through, she saw an old face.

Official PLAYER/Anemone Design + Lore!

The first character with a fully completed backstory! PLAYER is on the left, while Anemone is the human/disguise on the right. Just to be clear: This is not the player from UNDERPLAYER. To be clear, I will refer to Restricted’s player as “PLAYER”, and the one from UNDERLAYER as “Player”. However, this PLAYER is very similar to the Player from UNDERPLAYER.

They came from the same timeline: in fact, Player currently stuck during in Undertale is PLAYER’s twin. While they were back home, Player had vanished. The only thing they left behind was Undertale, up and running on a computer. So PLAYER struck out on a mission- they had long ago shared their twin’s fascination with Undertale, but they had always appreciated the creativity behind the fandom and their alternative routes. Curiosity led them to program themselves into the game, although this time they were more successful than Player. They were able to access all the alternate timelines and program themselves into that, vowing to get a “Perfect Ending” for their sibling.

They first stumbled upon Underfell, where they adopted their iconic red-striped look after UF! Frisk suggested it. They moved over to UnderSwap, but they became dissatisfied with just following US! Chara through the Underground. They killed US! Chara, shattered their soul so that they wouldn’t be able to interfere, and modified the code so that the characters recognized PLAYER as the eighth fallen human. They went through the True Pacifist, Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide Routes of UnderSwap, then they coded themselves from UnderSwap to HorrorTale, performing the same feats and then moving from HorrorTale to DreamTale, Storyshift, Storyshift: Facing Demons, DustTale, and eventually all of the timelines. They were becoming dissatisfied and increasingly frustrated and volatile with having experienced all the endings and interactions, and still not yet achieving an ending they deemed to be perfect.

InkShift Chara met them as PLAYER was in the midst of disassembling and reassembling their code for other timelines. Having had sensed the true amount of LOVE within their soul, InkShift called upon Atonement. (An OC designed by Tarylem: Atonement takes on the form of an unknown Sans AU, although in actuality he is a force created to dispense justice, and is present everywhere, not just in Undertale and Deltarune.)

Atonement managed to take PLAYER by surprise. He stripped them of their coding abilities and tore out their soul. 

InkShift hid their soul within the only alternate universe PLAYER had not visited, forcing the timeline to jam it into a desperate host to stabilize the sudden power transfusion. Almond became PLAYER’s new host, as InkShift Chara had unknowingly given PLAYER reign over Almond and the created body (Anemone), allowing them to switch between the two at will.

This sketch took a while, mainly because I wasn’t able to think of a pose for PLAYER/Anemone. The others won’t take as long, for certain. -ASRIEL.

edit: eeee. Rereading this lore’s making me all giddy again- I really want to start coding the basics, but I’m not sure what program to run it with- GameMaker Studio runs on a jumble of C++ and C#, so if something happens to the program I won’t know what to do. :( I’m only good with HTML, but if HTML’s not available JavaScript’s second, although I’m really slow with JS. .-. But if that’s the only option left, then it’ll be better than nothing- Toby Fox used GameMaker Studio for Undertale’s battle system, as well as GMS 2 for Deltarune. Seems like a good candidate.

this drawing is a mix between a Paper Trail Fan Art and Deltarune Headcanon/Theory and a OC...

the “Red Strawberry Ralsei Prince” is just a guess as to what the last one of them would look like, I know I did another fan art before about a Red Version.

them being called [REDACTED] shows that his name is hidden but also because I couldn’t really think of anything to call him, he isn’t really canon to Paper Trail and he is just a fan’s guess on what the last prince might look like.

at the bottom is Kris’s Big Brother Asriel, Ralsei/Flowey and Faux-Ralsei and a OC that I decided to name Alisre.

I still believe that the “Ralsei” in Chapter 2 might not be the original one we befriend from Chapter 1, and the Original is trapped in the Card Kingdom along with one of the Lancer Quadruplets (and possibly with Jevil as well if the Player only unlocks the door to his cell but was never able to beat him but just leave the door open and then leave to face the King....)

I still think Lancer might be a Quadruplet, why else would he still be in Kris’s pocket but at the same time be in that bakery as “Mustache-Lancer” and if he is hanging out with Queen at the same time while being in the pocket, then you know it is possible that it isn’t the same Lancer, you just been having one of the Lancer Quadruplets this whole time....

and the reason why they are all name Lancer, is because King was too lazy to give them a different name and at some point he forgot he has more than one son who is named Lancer.

the Ralsei we first travel with in Chapter 1, I believe they were originally from Undertale and are Flowey, but the hat they wear allows them to keep their “Ralsei Form” plus it could turn out that when Lancer knocks Hooded-Ralsei/Faux-Ralsei off screen, it isn’t him who reappears but Ralsei/Flowey instead.

which would mean that the Faux-Ralsei was the Original Ralsei, and the reason why Flowey switched places with him, is because Flowey might of know that Ralsei’s True Colors and he is keeping secrets and will lie to Kris and Susie.

when Chapter 1-Ralsei is in that cell with Kris, and when we are following Susie...it is possible that Chapter 1-Ralsei shows Kris his true form and explains why he switches places with the Other-Ralsei, and tells them that if they and Susie ever run into the Real Him again (Faux-Ralsei), that they both need to be cautious and not trust him.

when Kris and Susie are about to leave, the Other Ralsei aka “Faux-Ralsei” he possibly uses magic to send all the darkners (all but Flowey, Lancer and Jevil)

through the dark fountain and to the unused classroom.

he then took Flowey’s hat that keeps him in his Ralsei form, and goes out through the Delta Rune Door and back to Castle Town and locks the door and then once Susie and Kris left for home, he goes to the Light World and goes to the unused classroom and locks the closet door in there.

because the door in that room is a counterpart of the Delta Rune Door in the dark world, and if it is left unlocked, Susie and Kris could go inside and end up back in Card Kingdom and find out the truth.

the Shadow-Lancer that tries to throw attacks at as when Kris and Susie seem to first enter the dark world, might not be the same one that Susie befriends.

and it is one of the Lancer’s brothers that make up The Lancer Quadruplets.

but it might be possible that part the game could take place in the far future, and when Kris wakes up close to Castle Town, it might be the first time they did since falling through that endless darkness....and what we saw before wasn’t Kris’s first time waking up in the dark world, but it might of been a scene of the future, or I could be wrong about that theory and that’s okay.

plus you know how Error-Sans uses those strings on souls, and then there is that fight with Spamton who has green strings seeming to hold him up in the fight...?

and then there are those papers in that very big dark room that is suppose to be the supply closet.

well what if Error-Sans ended up working with the Knight and is the one using his strings on Spamton...?

and the papers that are in the dark room that Susie and Kris first fall into the dark world from, are papers that belong to Ink-Sans...?

I don’t think Nightmare-Sans is that bad, I mean sure he comes off as a “villain” but he was just going through a lot and his brother wasn’t really being all that helpful, and well there can be a “Toxic-Positive” like if someone doesn’t have a little bit of a bad dream and maybe have a dream catcher to catch it, any other future nightmare might become even worse than the last.

and replacing the small bad dreams with “good dreams” can be a problem.

it could in theory could become a “Bad Dream Buildup” and just suppressing it with just good dreams, without having some kind of dream catcher to eat up the bad dreams that are building up could be bad.

if there was a Crossover with the different Sans from Undertale and Deltarune.

I think Susie would be the only one to truly get where Nightmare-Sans is coming from, and might be able to see that there is still some goodness in him, even if it’s WAY deep down.

well maybe it wouldn’t just be Susie, Lancer might be able to get Nightmare-Sans as well, but that is just my guessing.

if Ink-Sans and Error-Sans (or one of the versions of them) never really discovered the Deltarune Universes and it’s AU and Timelines,

one might wonder what they would do when they end up accidentally falling in the dark world instead of the light world part of it...?

or finding out that it is possible for those from Undertale to travel to Deltarune through that door that is like Sans’s door to his bedroom.

and the same thing can be said for those who are from Deltarune being able to travel to Undertale.

I think that in the Neutral Route (from the Timeline where one of the Froggits are missing from that room in the ruins that has that sign for the spider bake sale), it could turn out that it isn’t just Flowey who ends up going to Deltarune, but Alphys as well and she takes the human souls with her.

but when she does take the human souls, they end up escaping and end up being reborn as Noelle, Catti, Jockington, Berdly, Susie and Lancer.

the Sans we meet in Deltarune, could be Sans from a Geno Route Timeline or he could just be from Deltarune, but the Sans from Undertale might of had more than one Sans.

like the Sans who wanted to sell snowballs isn’t the same one who was with Papyrus, and might be the Sans from the Other World.

or he could be a Avatar of Gaster in disguise, like even if Sans says he would keep a eye-socket out for us in the game, he really doesn’t do anything at all.

the only one who really keeps a eye on us and follows us, is Flowey.

which I’m guessing could probably use healing magic and not just “friendliness bullets” and well, we know Undertale-Toriel isn’t what she seems either.

cause she obviously knows about the Resets and possibly pretends not to.

even when we point out to King Asgore about how many times he has killed us in the game, he doesn’t try to deny it, which means he knows about the Resets as well and has memories of previous timelines.

so just like Chapter 2-Ralsei, Toriel of Undertale is keeping secrets and lying to the Player and to the Human inside of the said game.

also while Ralsei from Paper Trail might be one of the Alternate Universes of Ralsei, that doesn’t hide anything from Kris out of bad intentions...

and he isn’t the version that could be Flowey from Undertale who needs a magic hat to keep himself in his Ralsei Form.

but while one could be a flower and the other being a piece of paper....

and both could have a type of soul in them, like when each Dark Prince was born, they were born with a soul.

and Flowey could of ended up having a type of remnant of the Original Prince Asriel from Undertale, that would slowly form a new soul for him.

but it’s possible that the Ralsei who we meet Chapter-2 is fully soulless or in other words a “Hollow-Soul” where it looks like a normal soul but has no filling inside of it but it still mimics a real soul.

and that Chapter 2-Ralsei is really Prince Asriel from Undertale, and he didn’t just stay as dust, the determination he got from his adoptive sibling ends up letting him reform in that throne room with the flowers.

but he can’t get all his dust back into his body, because it is stuck with Flowey.

and when the Prince Asriel reformed, he reformed without a soul.

so when he ends up in Deltarune and in the Dark World, when he loses HP and all that is left is his clothes, he doesn’t just turn into a Flower and just hides under his magic hat and clothes like Flowey does.

but instead what is hiding under the clothes, is just dust the very dust of a soulless monster and former prince of the underground.

he even renames himself as “Ralsei” and his plans might be to wait until Kris’s brother comes home so he can take his soul.

Flowey, before he replaces that Ralsei to protect Kris and Susie in Chapter 1...

Flowey might of found out about that Soulless-Ralsei/Original-Asriel’s plan to take Delta-Asriel’s soul.

but he didn’t get to tell Kris about that Other-Ralsei’s plan, because there was no time to tell them or he just forgot to.

but when it did become too late to tell them while still in the Card Kingdom,

Soulless-Ralsei took Flowey’s hat that keeps him in his Ralsei form, and Soulless-Ralsei uses magic to send everyone except Flowey, Lancer and Jevil to the unused classroom in the light world before Kris and Susie closes the dark fountain.

and while still in the Dark World, Soulless-Ralsei hurries back to the Castle Town and locks the door that has the Delta Rune on it.

when Kris and Susie go home, Soulless-Ralsei goes into the light world and then goes to the unused classroom to lock the door, this way Kris and Susie wont be able to go back to the Card Kingdom and find out the truth.

and he could end up taking the key with him back to the dark world.

Flowey and Lancer aren’t able to escape from that part of dark world, and no one would know that Lancer is missing because of his brothers who are all named Lancer, because once again his Dad is too lazy to give his own Quadruplet Sons and he likely forgot that he has more than one son.

not everyone has to agree with this theory, but it is possible that the Ralsei we meet in Chapter 2, isn’t the same one we befriend and treasure as the cinnamon roll fluffy prince who needs to be protected.

one of the clues is from when Kris drinks the Ralsei Tea in the Cyber Kingdom of Dark World, you don’t really get much HP from that tea and Kris might not really like that Ralsei, but could like the one who might turn out to be Flowey...

another clue is that Chapter 2-Ralsei is slightly taller than Kris, while in Chapter 1 both Kris and Ralsei/Flowey are the same height.

Chapter 2-Ralsei also has longer horns and bigger feet than the Ralsei we travel with from Chapter 1.

besides those two Ralseis, there could really be a REAL Ralsei who like Flowey, has a soul but that Ralsei is a Captured Prince, that Soulless-Ralsei has locked up in his own room, but you can’t really go up the stairs where Ralsei’s room is because it is blocked off.

the Captured Prince Ralsei or possibly could be seen as the True-Ralsei, could be like the True Counterpart of most of the Fanon AU versions of Ralsei.

and the magic hat that let’s Flowey become “Ralsei” was a gift from the True-Ralsei who was still locked up because of the Chapter 2-Ralsei.

True-Ralsei could of used his magic to transfer some of his soul essence into the hat that would allow Flowey to turn into him and protect Kris and Susie from the Faux-Ralsei (who might not really be the True-Ralsei at all.) and his future plans.

True-Ralsei could still be wearing a hat much like the one that Flowey wears that keeps him in his Ralsei form, but the one that Flowey wears is a spare green hat that belongs to True-Ralsei.

True-Ralsei could of been the first friends that Flowey made when he left Undertale’s Neutral Timeline.

and one of the reasons why he even bothers to pretend to be True-Ralsei and look after Kris and Susie and protect them from the Faux-Ralsei, was by the request of True-Ralsei.

I think I like to think of this fan theory as headcanon.

but not all fans have to agree about it possibly being true.

I also think that Kris (or the Hollow-Soul of Kris) didn’t just go down to the kitchen to eat the pie, but went out of their home first, then broke into the library to create a dark fountain and after they did that, they went home and used the knife to cut a slice of pie and eat it, but then ended up eating the whole pie.

well either they ate the pie or Susie did because the thing controlling Kris’s body that isn’t the Player, left the door to their house open, and Susie might of smelled the pie and went inside and ate almost all  the pie.

and when Kris returns there is only one piece of pie left, so they ate that last piece but left the knife and went back to bed.

it’s possible that in the canon of Deltarune, if there is more than just one Ralsei, one being a Decoy who’s true form is Flowey, the other being a Soulless Prince from the Other World/Undertale and the last one being the True-Ralsei who was born in Deltarune and it’s Dark World.

it’s possible that if True-Ralsei did end up in the Light World, his true form might be the horn headband that Kris lost.

Faux-Ralsei would still stay in his form, and he possibly can’t stay in the Light World for too long, like a full day, because his body would break down into dust and if he were to die in the light world with very little magic, he wouldn’t be able to reform and go back to the dark world on his own.

if Flowey were to go into the Light World while wearing the hat he got from True-Ralsei, he might not be able to keep his Ralsei form while he goes into the Light World, and would turn back into a Flower.

but instead of a non-talking and normal Flower, he would just be himself, and still being able to talk.

the little magic in the light world, would allow him to still move around and go underground and even go into Kris’s room.

but he would have to be kept secret from everyone but those who have been into the Dark World.

like it could turn out that Flowey could tell Kris that they would need to save the True-Ralsei because he is not what he seems, and even asks Kris that they must of notice that they seemed slightly different from them, and even explains that Flowey’s Ralsei form is based off of the True-Ralsei of the Dark World.

because True-Ralsei’s magic and some of his soul essence was placed into a extra hat of his, which he gave to Flowey so he could take his form and replace the Faux-Ralsei who is really a Soulless-Body of the Original Prince Asriel from Undertale, who reformed thanks to Chara’s determination, but he only reformed after Alphys took the Flower that would become Flowey from the Throne Room.    

well either her, or Wingdings Gaster....

I mean it wouldn’t be the first time Alphys took credit for Gaster’s work.

so it would make sense that it would turn out that Flowey was Gaster’s creation, and in his absences, Alphys used his creation as a experiment and lab rat.

anyway my fan headcanon and theory, is that the Ralsei we travel with in Chapter 1 is really Flowey who came from Undertale and comes from a Neutral Timeline and came to Deltarune with Alphys.

and he was asked by the True-Ralsei to keep watch over the Lightners and protect them from Faux-Ralsei.

and maybe if it were true, and Flowey talks to Kris alone if they go to the light world, he explains that he shouldn’t trust Susie with the truth, because it is likely Faux-Ralsei has already told her some lies and would turn her against them if they reveal the truth.

Flowey turning out to be a Decoy-Ralsei and helping Kris and Susie by the request of the True-Ralsei who is the prisoner of Faux-Ralsei, might make sense but it might not to everyone and that’s okay.

anyway Alisre is suppose to be a “Princess from a Dark World”

the form she has if she ended up in the Light World, could be that of a doll that looks like a boss monster, and it could be doll that belong to Kris when they were really little, but like their horn headband, they lost the doll.

anyway hope some like this drawing that is a mix of being a Paper Trail Fan Art and a theory about Deltarune.

there is a reason why Flowey’s Ralsei form has a different shade of green hat from the Ralsei from Paper Trail, and well hope some like it.

so the theory about Flowey helping the True-Ralsei and trying to protect Kris and Susie from Faux-Ralsei that appears in Chapter 2, is a new theory and headcanon.

I know that only some fan theories will turn out to be true, like what we see in Chapter 2, and it turning out Kris did use the knife for the pie...

but I believe they only used the knife of the pie, after coming back from breaking into the library and making a new dark fountain.

another thing that was a fan prediction that turn out to be canon, was that when Darkners leave the Dark World and go into the Light World, they turn into objects, like any item, from toys, game pieces, cards and possibly anything else.

when they do turn into items, it’s possible they go into a type of sleep mode.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it would be revealed that Kris or whatever was controlling them that isn’t the Player, did create the dark fountain in the library’s computer room.

hope Toby Fox and his team do their best with each chapter of Deltarune, but remember to relax and take breaks, make sure to eat and got good night rest.

HOSTILE TAKEOVER UPDATE 3: Noelle and Berdly

Coming in with what is likely the final of these daily updates before moving onto (hopefully) more weekly content updates, I’m happy to present Noelle and Berdly taking up the roles of Kris and Susie as they do in Deltarune!

Noelle - In this AU, Noelle is a downtrodden girl raised by a single mother and her family’s long-time babysitter: Papyrus, and his family. Though she was already familiar with loss due to her sister and father’s passing, she was in the process of recovering when her close friend Napstablook went on tour with their cousin. She awaits their return, playing their records every night and checking up on their social feed to help them sleep and stave off the troubling recurring nightmares of someone calling out to them in the middle of a snowstorm...

Berdly - As he is in Deltarune is an egotistical tryhard, except in this situation there was no spelling bee that brought him closer to Noelle, no reason to get closer and risk making the sheltered sensitive girl cry, and so they never became friends, meaning Berdly remained unnoticed and unappreciated. Berdly is a soul desperate for attention, doing any and every hair-brained scheme his gigantic brain comes up with. And though he more than excels as the number 2 in class, nothing seems to ever drive the attention of anyone his way, making him resentful, especially towards Noelle, who he sees as someone who’s never had to try and always gets to be number 1 and always has people caring about her.

Design Changes

Noelle wears a very different color scheme as in DR due to me following the idea of the fallen child having to resemble the protagonist in the original Undertale universe. In this case, Mettaton. going off of designs of colored MTT, I decided to give her a more pink and black sort of look. The dress is also from MTT himself, who gifted it to Noelle for spending so much time with Napstablook.

These are all big changes since the og post I made describing Noelle’s backstory in HT, cause I wanted to really link this au to a proper undertale universe and I thought Storyshift would be perfect. Now this has no express permission from the Storyshift person themselves and I am not affiliated with Storyshift and their au in any way, and it’s likely I’ll have to make my own UT AU just for this - which I would have no problem with, but I just thought it’d be most appropriate to making a unique AU that’s still cohesive.

As for Berdly, his design was based off of a suggestion from @randomguyed​ , and I owe actually both designs to them because with their help I reworked the designs I had for them originally (seen below). But yes, Berdly’s design is meant to be a blend of “trying too hard to be cool”, but with the same quirks that make Berdly himself. Not pictured but at the back is a rainbow patch sewn by his mother, because the Jacket itself was a request from his mother. As for what’s on his face, it’s a VR headset/google glass thing for gamers, idk if such a thing is real but Berdly would absolutely get one and look dumb in it. It’s the perfect way to keep his eyes hidden imo, to mirror Susie having her eyes hidden most the time in ch1. I also just making his glasses rather reflective, but I thought this’d be much funnier.
