Dagger Squad as Bath and Body Works Smells PT2
{All Dagger's included some of these smells are not bath and body works, some are small shops so please buy and support them since you all liked the last post here is part two enjoy}
Tumblr media
𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐲 "𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫" 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐰- 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐓𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞 Like in my last post he honestly reminds me of these very specific smells from my childhood, I grew up around industrial type smells and my grandpa alway's smelt like Tobacco, and I feel like he maybe grew up around those smells too. This candle smells like, Warm Tobacco and brushed suede aromatic greens, soft weathered woods, earthy patchouli and smoky leather. and is Described as your dad's old car, his cologne on bended into the leather
Tumblr media
𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 "𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐧" 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐧- 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐲
He remind's me of when you wake in the morning and there is a fresh pot of coffee, like the start to a new day and thing's are gonna be good and later into the day you need something to take the edge of, so you take a Whiskey. Also look at this man he is clearly a whiskey man. This candle smells like, bold Irish whiskey, splash of vanilla and a hint of coffee. and is described as your favorite morning pick-me-up with a touch of weekend spirit.
Tumblr media
𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 "𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐱" 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞- 𝐒𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞
So this one is based off my headcanon for her that she grew up in Arizona, like she grew up in one of those adobe clay home's like when you drive out in New Mexico, i've seen them before, she also reminds me of sunsets if you believe it. Patchouli flowers, pink pepper and exotic rosewood. and is described as a woodsy, warm desert escape.
Tumblr media
𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 "𝐁𝐨𝐛" 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝- 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 & 𝐎𝐮𝐝 Bob just reminds me of that after rain smell, like the sun has just come out, there is cloud's left behind and the ground is wet, if the sun catches it correctly it will flicker on the wall. Just that overall feeling if you understand. This candle smells like dark golden amber, fresh rainwater and oud wood. And is Described as the woodlands after a rainstorm.
Tumblr media
𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲 "𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐲" 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚- 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧
I have actually had the privilege to own this but it was a body wash, and when I tell you it's the most masculine and sweet smell I have ever smelt you wouldn't believe me. And you cannot not tell me that Mickey wouldn't take a girl night swimming as a surprise, well thats my headcanon. This candle smells like blue cypress, vetiver and coastal air. And Described as a cool, refreshing dip in the deep blue sea.
Tumblr media
𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐧 "𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤" 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡- 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 I remember smelling this candle in the store, and call me crazy but dosent he give you the vibe that his sheet's are black and that most of his closet are light or dark colored T-shirts. Like I can just imagine this smell in his clothe's. This candle smells like rich mahogany, black teakwood, dark oak and frosted lavender. and is described as borrowing their flannel for a hike in the woods. (come on even B&BW agrees with me)
Tumblr media
𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐲 "𝐂𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐞" 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨- 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐞
Okay it's no secret that clearly this man looks great in a suit, and in his flight suit. I swear to it that he would have a rich type of cologne, like when he walks past you it hits you right in the face. Even when he leaves a room it linger around. This candle smells like White Teakwood, Oakmoss, Sage & Sparkling Bergamot. And described as Elegant and Stoic like a man ready for the evening suit and tie and all.
This might be better then the first post, like i put more detail into this post and please check out these smells and some of these are fairly cheap from these stores.

Baldur’s Gate 3 - 15/? - Palmarosa - Astarion/Raphael
Tumblr media
Title: Palmarosa Rating: Explicit Pairing: Astarion/Raphael Tags: (Check AO3 for the full list) Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Deals with a devil, Contracted sexual slavery, Bad BDSM etiquette, PTSD, Communication issues, Flashbacks, Trauma recovery and Retraumatisation, Dark and disturbing themes, Blood consumption, Minor character death, Canon typical violence, Dominance/submission, Top Raphael, Bottom Astarion etc.
Summary: (Set post-game / end-game) The love of Astarion’s life has disappeared to go live in the daylight with the druids, and Astarion is stuck in the darkness once more, yearning for sunlight with every fibre of his being, while bitterly reflecting on all the things that were denied to him in the end - love, sunlight, the option to kill thousands of people and become a near-god…
Raphael knows Astarion’s desperate, and comes to him with not one, but two horrid contract offers that Astarion loathes and dreads in equal measure - but the prize at the end of both are too good to turn down, and he’s become too cynical to care about how much of a good idea it is to give his body to a devil for a month or two, because really, comparatively, how bad could it be?
Palmarosa (Baldur’s Gate 3) - Raphael/Astarion - 15 - Desert Rosewood and Frigid Cold
In which Raphael conducts a ritual to make sure Astarion can withstand Cania, which Astarion finds far more brutal than he expected. And then, Cania, where Astarion realises that Raphael intends to use himself as bait to distract his own father, the Archdevil and ruler of the 8th Circle of Hell himself.

Story Idea for The Ember Knight
(The Pacisfist AU)
●Nagyunn and Najin were raised better than in the canon. They were treated like an outcast in their earlier age, but after helping them in some huge fire accident that none of the twins started, the Woodion's villagers began to treated them nicer.
●Except Luce. And other jerks that had hobby of picking orphans for fun.
●Najin still held grudges and wary of the villagers. So did Nagyunn, but he was still relief that the villagers didn't bully him and his brother anymore.
●Anyway, after that flame accident kids began to approached the twins and make friends with them. Especially with Nagyunn since he was the kinder one. Najin had became cold after his brother nearly died in his previous terrible illness.
●The twins along with Lauzun, Luzian and Tyr became closer than in canon. Because I speculate that would happen if Nagyunn was also liked by the villagers.
●They grew up together till the canon event.
●Najin, the twin with an exceptional gift in fight decided to make their life better by joining the knighthood. Luzian who wanted to protect people joined him, followed by Lauzun with an unknown motif and Tyr who wanted to stand in the line of justice and fairness. Luce, for the same canon reason. Nagyunn still wanted to be an adventurer.
●So when his brother and friends departed to chase after Rosewood Fox, he immediately set off to go on his own journey.
●Fadiyan joined him for secret reasons. At first, Nagyunn was scared of her, hearing the countless tales of her craziness from Najin and the rest. But Fadiyan had an experience in traveling, the fact that she was also used to be a knight supported it.
●So Nagyunn let her went along as his guide.
●He still feared her.
●To Najin, he was growing stronger in the apprenticeship and gaining awes by his comrades. Only Luzian, Lauzun and Tyr knew what a crybaby he used to be (heh).
●The timeline where they meet Naryun happened much later on, but most of the magicians minus Shumin that the knights supposed to meet up were assassinated like in the canon.
●Najin grew to be stronger than before, he was dubbed as the strongest apprentice and often in hiding from a hunger-battle Waron and love sick Marsha.
●He was also quite stubborn and hard headed. It made the knights and the apprentices to often thought if there was someone that Najin feared. They didn't know the answer, until one day Wadrin voiced it out loud after making sure Najin was nowhere close by.
●Which only made Luzian to nonchalantly replied ; "Oh he's afraid of Nagyunn."
●Everyone paused, all eyes stared at her as if she had grown two heads.
"Who?" Toorisun, provably, asked.
"Nagyunn," at the clear confusion in their eyes, she elaborated "His older twin brother."
●Okay...that was new. Najin had a twin brother? And he was scared of this said twin brother?
●Whoever they be, they must be scarier and stronger than Nagyunn!
●But only to get shot down by Lauzun.
"Oh no. Gyunn-ah is very kind and patient. He's not that scary."
●But that was from the same guy that saw the good in everyone. So they didn't believe Lauzun much. Everyone, including the knights minus Qilin, imagined Nagyunn as Najin's buff carbon copy with malicious aura.
●At the same time, Nagyunn and Fadiyan reached ice desert and Fadiyan tried to stopped Nagyunn from licking the ice.
●Anyway, they didn't meet him until they began their training arc at Nijel, the capital.
●Fadiyan and Nagyunn also arrived there few days after the Second Special Class. When Fadiyan learnt that the class was finally there, she informed Nagyunn and suggested to pay the Woodion's apprentices a little visit. Nagyunn obviously agreed.
●The visit came as a surprise. The Woodion's kids greeted Fadiyan in screech of terror before blatantly relaxed at the sight of Nagyunn.
●Nagyunn wasn't like what they expected, most the class stared at him. He did look like Najin, but lack the threatening aura and all smiley and calm. A complete opposite of Najin.
●Yulnia wanted to test his strength by dueling, which the older twin refused and stated that he was quite weak compared to his brother.
●Another shock fact to the knights and apprentices.
●Most of them began to believe Luzian was bluffing them, especially the cold stoic Najin became all mushy and beaming when he was with Nagyunn – also another surprising thing.
●That until one day Fidorance was scolding Najin, and the younger twin acted stubborn much to the knight's dismay.
●Then ; "Jin-ah, don't be rude and say sorry," Nagyunn huffed from behind Fidorance.
Much to their surprise, Najin's attitude changed and he actually apologised to Fidorance.
Luzian crackled in the background when Wadrin and Darigan crashed onto one another because they were distracted by the scene.
●That wasn't a one time thing. Whenever Najin did a mistake or something like that, if Nagyunn scolded him then the younger twin would listen to him and genuinely looked upset from it. One time Nagyunn reprimanded Najin for talking rudely to Jiroon, Najin looked like a kicked puppy and made Jiroon felt sorry for him.
●That made the knights wanted Nagyunn to stay if it make Najin more bearable. The apprentices and Waron were having fun poking it to Najin about it.
●When Fadiyan and Nagyunn left to continue on their adventure, Najin nearly strangle Wadrin to death.
●But stopped by Qilin, who had a piece of paper in his hand and a messenger pigeon on the other arm. For once, the quiet knight had a smug look plastered across his face ;
"I wonder if Nagyunn is up for a quick exchange letter?"
●Najin paled. Luzian was laughing her butt off.

For #MusicmasterMonday...I give you the 1959 #ES140 3/4T, #Gibson's version of a #Fender#Musicmaster! 😉
Well...sort of. They are both "student" guitars anyway...
But being 3/4 sized guitars and intended for beginners is just about where the similarities end between the Fender and Gibson Student offerings*. The Musicmaster, in the finest Fender tradition, was a simply constructed, solid slab-body guitar, with a bolt-on, one piece maple neck, plain desert sand finish (albeit with a snazzy anodized metal pickguard) and no embellishments or decoration to speak of.
The ES-140, on the other hand, in the finest Gibson tradition, was a set-neck, arched top, hollow body, with floating bridge, tort pickguard, mahogany neck with brazillian rosewood fingerboard, bound body, and finished in a serious and dignified Gibson three tone sunburst. These later 140s were thinlines, but in the earlier 50s they were full depth like a real Jazz Box!
So I guess the Musicmaster was the mini guitar you would buy for an up-and-coming little rocker (or if you wanted to save a few bucks because you knew your kid would give up after like 3 lessons 🤣), while the ES-140 was basically a miniature #ES125 T for the budding Jazz Master in the family!
*of course Gibson also made a solid body called the #LesPaulJunior 3/4 which would actually be a better student model to compare to the Musicmaster. But I digress... 😂

How do you think names work for reapers?
Do they get transfered to their afterlife and reapers just have the option to either go by their name or the number? Or do they get to choose their own names once they get reborn as reapers?
Names aren't really official in the human world, at least they aren't for reapers, since they are just ways to identify each other. It would make sense if the dispatch refused to use names of the reapers from when they were alive.
But that leads me to wonder whether UT could actually be Cedric?? Don't get me wrong, I'm fully on board with Grandpa!UT theory, but if he always went by his ID number, that could mean he never chose a name for himself, which would mean Cedric can't be his name since he has no name! That is of course, in the case that reapers have to name themselves.
I might just be thinking a bit too far into this though hehe 😅
Reaper names
Well, now that I'm reading Scythe by Neal Shusterman, I started to consider that perhaps Kuroverse reapers choose completely new names when they become reapers. Much like how royals can choose what name to use when they ascend to the throne or how clergy can choose new names to go by, "scythes" in that book series do this, usually choosing the last name of a scientist they particularly respect. Faraday, Curie, etc. In Kuroshitsuji we've seen a nod to Shakespeare himself, as well as to a priest who wasn't even born until February 17, 1888 (Ronald Knox).
However, we've also seen a Shakespearean character (Othello), a nod to a serial killer who wouldn't be born for several decades (Sutcliff), and two names (in the manga) that seem random (Sascha and Ludger). We haven't been given Sascha's or Ludger's full names -- or Othello's -- but it's probably safe to assume they have them.
It's entirely possible these are their actual names from before they died. If they go through karmic reincarnation (get reborn as reapers with their old souls), these could be the names they were born with as reapers.
The mere fact that Undertaker's name isn't known to Othello, since he preferred to use his registration number, increases the chances of it being Cedric K. Ros-- (whatever that is, like Rosewood, Rosedale, etc.). This allows Yana-san to make us wait even longer to learn the truth about him. Then, for some unknown reason, Undertaker wanted to cut ties with his old self. Even back then.
And Othello makes it sound like they usually go by names they had before they were registered. More specifically, these are "given names".
Tumblr media
This suggests that, wherever the names come from, reapers don't typically choose them for themselves. Undertaker, despite being the epitome of a reaper, was breaking customs right from the start by using his registration number.
I'm curious now why Othello just says "most of our kind" instead of "all of our kind, except this one". What other reaper changed their name, and why?
Of course, this all lines up very well with one of Undertaker's parallels in Mother3. There are 7 Magypsies in the game, just as there are 7 named reapers in the manga. (Eric and Alan's names have never been mentioned in the manga; Anderson hasn't either.) They are all named after musical modes: Aeolia, Ionia, Lydia, Doria, Mixolydia, Phrygia, and Locria. Locria deserts the others and changes their name to Fassad (like a façade). We don't learn that Fassad was a Magypsy until a while after they're destroyed. But this works with how Undertaker uses a given number instead of a given name... and then changes it to something else when he deserts his position.
One way to find Undertaker's given name when he chose to go by 136649? Have someone pull his old registration files. The given name he chose not to use should be there. Othello just didn't know because he never looked. Probably never had access to it. But I bet William does. And Sascha and Ludger might have seen it, too, by now. After all, William is sharing intel with them.

Sabbats: Lughnasadh Basics and Correspondences
Lughnasadh is one of the four Celtic Cross Quarter Festivals, also referred to as the fire festivals. It is the first of three harvest festivals held in the fall. As the grain and corn are gathered and preserved for the season, farmers celebrated the last of the long and warm days of summer.
The cross quarters are linked to an old farming calendar. This was a time when people were very close to the land and their lives were governed by the changing of the seasons and the need to grow enough food to survive. Modern Irish Gaelic calls the month of August Lúnasa which is the modern variation of Lughnasadh. The name originates from Lugh, a mythological hero to some, sun god to others.

Book Blurb: For fans of Leigh Bardugo, enter a world on the brink of war where one more Roll from a magical dice may set a witch with a secret down a dangerous path. Calliope Rosewood is a witch with a long streak of bad luck. Like all witches in Illustros, her fate is directly tied to Witch’s Dice—powerful artifacts that have blessed her kind with limitless magic but also set them on a path toward destruction. Cursed with unspeakable powers that terrify even the most dangerous witches and fae, Calla deserted her coven four years ago and has been in hiding with her two best friends since. But Calla is also hiding a grave secret: She is only three Rolls away from becoming the last Blood Warrior and starting the Fates' War that will decimate her people and eradicate their magic. After a betrayal from her ex leads her one step closer to fulfilling that age-old prophecy, Calla is desperate to do whatever it takes to reset her fate . . . even if that means journeying into the deadly Neverending Forest with said ex and his enigmatic older brother to find the one being who can help her forge her own path. As Calla ventures farther into the enchanted woods, she finds her heart torn between her past desires and alluring new possibilities. But she soon learns that choosing your own destiny may come with dire consequences.Featuring a charming ensemble cast of characters, this first book in a planned series by debut author Kaylie Smith will sweep readers away with its utterly immersive world building, swoon-worthy romance, and action-packed storytelling.
Review:
In a world on the bring of war, and dice rolls dictate the fates of witches, Calliope Rosewood has been on a roll of bad luck and the final straw is when she is tricked by her ex and now forced to go on a journey with a prince who just might be as cursed as her. Calliope is a witch who’s fate is tied to Witch’s Dice, powerful artifacts that give witches limitless magic but also gives them fates that lead toward destruction. Calla herself has a particularly bad curse, she is the last blood Warrior, fated to start the Fates’ War that would decimate her people and eradicate their magic. she’s only two rolls away from becoming the monster... well now one after her ex tricks her and forces her to roll the dice that will lead her to her doom. On top of the fact that he broke her heart and  betrayed her he also left her to deal with kidnappers who tried to sell her in an auction... except a handsome stranger who looks related to said ex arrives to save her and tells her that he needs her help in his quest. Said stranger is none other than Prince Gideon, brother to Exra (her ex), who also is one roll away from his doomed fate and is determined to change his fate and offers to help her change hers too if she helps him go on his quest to collect the artifacts he needs. now Calla finds herself in the company of her ex, his handsome brother, her two best friends ( a siren named Delphine and another witch named Hannah), Gideon’s ex who also happens to be the grumpiest most jealous person, and Cass, a funny and wonderful friend. They’ll have to face off against monsters, play dangerous games that not only test their strength but their hearts, and fight fate itself if they want to make it out alive. It doesn’t help that Calla finds herself fighting between her feelings for Ezra and his brother Gideon, going back and forth between what her heart wants. This story has three love triangles if you can believe it, THREE, and I hated them all. I’m gonna be honest, for characters who are 19-20 a lot of them act like they’re 16 year olds. The story felt juvenile and honestly, I could have done without the love drama, the fate and questing of the story however was fun. This carried a large cast of characters and is the first book in the series. So while I might have had some “eh” feelings about certain things, I did find myself interested in seeing where the next book goes after the emotional cliffhanger of this book. The story is good for people who enjoy fantasy romance with a touch of Dungeons and Dragons and lots and lots of romance drama and love triangles.
*SPOILER*
Gideon turned out to be the fabled Heartbreak Prince, cursed to die any moment after he fell in love, and while he and Calla both went to the Witch Eater to finish the spell and change their fates they ended up swapping their curses and now Gideon is the Last Blood Warrior and Calla has his curse. They previously bargained with a Valkyrie who had a thing for Cass, in exchange for Gideon’s heart she would give them a feather, however now that they are protected by Fate, she can’t take his heart... so she takes Ezra’s instead, killing him. Delphine was taken by the sirens and Hannah lost her voice ( they’re sort of in love with each other). Gideon and Calla have fallen for each other, despite earlier in the book Ezra and Calla made up and made out, only for Calla to kiss Gideon while playing a game against nymphs who would have taken one of her memories if she lost the game, and then Ezra and her broke up officially after that. Before dying Ezra confesses his love to her. Kes was Gideon’s ex lover who is also part of the journey but ditched them after Gideon and Calla left to find the Witch Eater and then he returned to Gideon and Ezra’s mother, the Queen to betray them because he feels jilted over Calla getting Gideon’s affection despite Gideon making it clear that there was never going to be anything serious between him and Kes and that their relationship ended. Yup, now Calla and Gideon have to find a way to break their new curses and play Fate’s new game.
*Thanks for Netgalley and Disney Publishing Worldwide for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

Dior Dune

Dior Dune
Noses: Dominique Ropion, Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Nejla Barbir
Notes: rosewood, aldehydes, bergamot, mandarin, peony; lily, ylang-ylang, wallflower, jasmine, rose; sandalwood; amber, benzoin, oakmoss, vanilla, patchouli, musk
"it's a shortbread cookie!"
"wait no, it's a dry, buzzy, aldehydic floral!"
"it's a combination shortbread cookie and aldehydic floral!"
The "shortbread cookie" note is basically the same biscuit-y stylized vanilla as Givenchy Pi, but the decidedly unsweet, perfumey, floral top gives Dune more panache. That top note is a dry gray in tonality while the sweet bottom is beige; apparently the inspiration was originally not desert dunes but the cold beaches of Normandy, and I can see it. Gray sky above, beige sand beneath.
Lavender's not in the listed notes, but there is something lavender-esque about that gray floral, a dried-sachet quality.
Luca Turin considers it "bleak" and "unsmiling" and "unsettling", and I think I see what he's talking about, but really to me it just has a "suburban mom" aura. (This mom actually irons her shirts and plans trips to the mall with military precision.)
I'm fascinated by the balance of this thing -- how something so overtly sweet and vanillic can be simultaneously so cool and dry. Over time, the "top" and "bottom" blend smoothly into a buzzy uniform greige, like "stone"-colored chinos.
Like L'Eau D'Issey, Dune is a 90's phenomenon: a deceptively big and loud composition on a supposedly "subtle, minimalist" theme. L'Eau d'Issey is aiming at "transparent" but is actually an aggro white floral paired with an equally aggro aquatic note. Dune is aiming at "neutral beige", which, as Coco Chanel said, is usually restful; but Dune is built out of the dynamic tension between laundry briskness, mossy-dusty dryness, and powdery sweetness. It's an alert beige, an active beige. Does that mean Dune can get annoying? Yes. I'm not a huge fan of this 90's synthetic-vanilla thing to begin with; and a perfume vibrating with potential energy is inherently a little annoying. it never quite relaxes. But it's impressive. I keep smelling my wrist to see if it's collapsed into a "normal" powdery-vanilla thing, and nope! the structure still stands! still airy, still dry, still steel-reinforced and freshly polished!
