Ranking JJK Characters I Don't Like
Ranging from mild dislike (14) to LOATHE WITH EVERY INCH OF MY BEING (1).
14. Mai: I don't hate her. I sympathize with her. I just wish she wasn't the way she is.
13. Junpei: I do have compassion for him, but ... school shooter vibes. Not a fan.
12. Noritoshi: Bad vibes.
11. Toji: Bad dad. And he's so nosy, too. Why does he always insert himself into situations with his fists swinging? Actually, now that I think about it, that's kind of iconic behavior. But all it ever really did was create more problems. If he had never inserted himself into the plot, Geto would have probably never turned mass-murderer-cult-leader--WE COULD HAVE HAD EVERYTHING. So it's a pass for me. Also, his haircut is off-putting for reasons I cannot articulate. It's like one day in middle school he got a haircut and just never changed up the style ever again.
10. Jogo: Ugly.
9. Uraume: Character design: slay. Helping Sukuna: not slay.
8. Like every adult from the Zenin clan: BECAUSE THEY SUCK.
7. Tengen: Old and entitled.
6. Kenjaku: Old and entitled part two. What gives him the right?
5. Sukuna: Horrid, nasty man. I feel like I shouldn't have to elaborate.
4. Ui Ui: Annoying. Literally, why are you even here?
3. Mei Mei: First of all, how am I supposed to take you seriously with that stupid braid hanging in front of your face? From the very instant her character was introduced, I did not like her, but I thought maybe I was being a woman hater for no reason, so I really did try to tolerate her. But when we finally saw that scene in season two. PRISON!!! I was right. She's the worst. We are not gonna ignore that. Check her files.
2. That thing with the blond side ponytail: I hate him so much I don't even know his name. I don't care to know it. I would say why do you as a man look like that, but honestly why do you as a HUMAN BEING look like that? Why do you act like that? Why are you skipping around wearing a poorly made DIY toga? Whole nip is hanging out, and no one asked to see that. Why are you HOLDING HANDS with your blade? Freak. There is something so intrinsically, inherently, ONTOLOGICALLY wrong with him, you can't even blame it on childhood trauma or a personality disorder. The only time I ever supported Sukuna was when he bullied this emaciated Jo Jo Siwa lookin' thing in Shibuya.
Mahito: I hate him so much. I hate him more than I've ever hated any character. I actually lose the ability to speak coherently when I think about him because I hate him so much. I think it's so cringe when try-hard dudes say, "When I'm angry all I see is red." But when I think about Mahito it really is like blood and pure rage cloud my vision. He is literally the embodiment of if you gave an edge lord psychopathic eleven year old the power to kill people. "Wee, I'm so powerful and killing people is just SoooOoOoOoOOOo much fun!!" SHUT UP!!!!!!!! SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!! YOU ARE NOT FUNNY. YOU ARE NOT CUTE. YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL IN ANY WAY. He is genuinely the most irritating character I have ever come across. And as the story progresses, he just gets worse. What do you mean he can duplicate himself? Now we have to deal with TWO of this wretched creature? What do you mean he can be decapitated AND HIS HEAD WILL SPROUT LIMBS AND SPRINT AWAY? STOOOOOOOOOP. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHAT HAPPENED TO NANAMI--I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT. Mahito is such a nasty, slithy, bothersome, despicable, nauseating little cockroach. "Yuji, you and I are the same." Huh? You thought you did something there, didn't you? You thought you ate and came up with some kind of deep, revolutionary concept? It's giving pretentious philosophy dude who thinks he's superior for being a little contrarian, nihilistic Nietzsche butt licker. When Yuji finally humbled him, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the fear in his eyes. For one brief, fleeting moment, I could finally understand what sadists must feel like. Honestly, we deserved to watch him suffer, and I wish he would have suffered far more for far longer. Rot in anguish, Mahito. You will not be missed nor forgiven.

Random things I think about:
Chrollo Lucilfer.
Tumblr media
So there’s some random things I think about because my first one of « religious chrollo » didn’t make it very well, so because I love this fandom I will write another one for chrollo cause why not?
Also these are my early morning thoughts, I’m hungery and writing it at 5:21 in the morning.
Warnings : Spoilers from the manga, death, nsfw
I genuinely feel that Chrollo is so guilty for Shalnark and Kortopi, he took their nen abilities for the fight, left them unprotected, that’s what he’s thinking he had done.
Of course no one would think Hisoka would survive this, but he did and took his revenge, which I really think it was despicable thing to do.
As you start to get really into details, the more you’ll start to doubt the troupe was behind the Kurta massacre.
I’m not saying they are innocent but you’ll start to doubt it. Especially the same pattern was done to Sarasa, the note.
Still it’s not clear what happened and why it happened to the Kurta’s.
Manga Chrollo is superior to the drawing in 1999 and 2011 adaptations.
Also unpopular opinion: hxh 1999 drawing was better than the 2011, Idk I guess i prefer it because I used to watch it since I was 4 or 5? And yes Chrollo was my favorite and remember crying over his “fake death” in yorknew’s arc. Iconic isn’t it?
Chrollo’s favorite soda is cream soda, who drinks that? me
His favorite meal is dinner, he loves ramen.
He can’t tolerate spicy food. Shalnark and Uvo would purposely get his food spicy just to see his ears, nose, eyes and lips red and tearing up. Won’t give him water though.
I still think he’s not into sexual activities, but when a mission requires it to get something he wants he’s distant and emotionless
Only doggy style or any style that doesn’t make him really intimate with the person.
He won’t stay in the bed beside them, he’ll get himself cleaned in the shower. Of course after getting the information or the object he wants.
He will get himself checked up for any diseases that could possibly be transmitted to him.
Not talkative during the act yk, different story if he’s in love though.
He may seem a little bit greasy because of his slicked back hair, but trust me that man smells like soap.
He loves old movies.
He suffers from nightmares from his childhood, what happened to Sarasa and the note haunt him in his sleep.
He dreams of the day he would reunite with his deceased friends, so they can finally be able to continue their dream as a theatre troupe, the “Phantom Troupe”.
Soooo this is it. Tell me what do you think about it? What or who should I do next in “Random things I think about” 🤍🎀
Have a lovely day and drink some water. 🤍

$58m+ weekend estimate for KUNG FU PANDA 4...
That beats the openings of the other two sequels (using KUNG FU PANDA 2's $47m 3-day opening, not its whole Memorial Day weekend take), sits nicely below the $60m opening weekend gross of the first movie. All the way back in 2008, without 3D or DBOX or today's ludicrous ticket prices. Still, impressive!
Really held its own nicely against DUNE: PART TWO's second weekend, too. Packed showtimes yesterday at work, so packed that the other animated family film option - also a Universal movie, MIGRATION - was packed down to the front row as well.
Given how well it was doing, the estimates - some project - might be a little on the low side. If this indeed tops $60m, and maybe even KUNG FU PANDA's opening weekend gross... This will be DreamWorks' first film to top that amount on opening weekend since MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE'S MOST WANTED. All the way back in 2012.
As such, it is still the company's biggest domestic opening since HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD in 2019. COVID-19 really cut into some of the Comcast-era DreamWorks movies at the box office, and while theaters have been back for a while, a lot of DreamWorks' output now plays the same long game other animated movies have been playing as of late: Open small, have ludicrous legs. KUNG FU PANDA 4, being part of an iconic series that's over 15 years old now, obviously was poised to open a lot higher than - say - THE BAD GUYS. If DreamWorks fired up another sequel to an old favorite, like MADAGASCAR, I'm sure it'd open similarly.
(Remember when MADAGASCAR 4 was penciled in for a 2018 release over 10 years ago? Pepperidge Farm remembers...)
Also, I won't be surprised if - within a few months or so - KUNG FU PANDA 5 gets etched onto the schedule for a 2027 release.
Elsewhere in Universal and Jack Black animated movie land, it was announced today - MAR10 Day - that the new SUPER MARIO BROS. animated movie is in the works. Directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic return to the helm, to no one's surprise.
Tumblr media
An untitled affair, and described kind of as a new movie and not so much a direct sequel? Well, whatever it is, it's debuting April 3, 2026. Much like the first movie, an early April 2023 release that went on to become one of the highest-grossing animated movies of all-time... So we have a date for that, but not whatever studio Illumination is serving up in 2025. Maybe they'll take that year off? Who knows. We have DESPICABLE ME 4 this coming summer, and then there's a gap in the schedule til this new Mario movie.
Universal's animation schedule so far. Looks like a powerhouse!
7/3/2024 - DESPICABLE ME 4 (Illumination)
9/20/2024 - THE WILD ROBOT (DreamWorks)
1/31/2025 - DOG MAN (DreamWorks)
8/1/2025 - UNTITLED (DreamWorks)
9/26/2025 - UNTITLED (DreamWorks)
4/3/2026 - UNTITLED MARIO MOVIE (Illumination)
9/25/2026 - UNTITLED (unknown at the moment, likely DreamWorks)
Three DreamWorkses in 2025, most of which are likely outsourced to Sony Imageworks, that DOG MAN movie will probably be a Mikros collaboration like CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS was. Fitting, both being based on Dav Pilkey books. I have a feeling we'll get an Illumination in there somewhere, either a summer picture (SECRET LIFE OF PETS 3? Some original movie?) or a near-Christmas SING threequel. That is, if Paramount moves THE SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS from that slot. I don't know at the moment. We also have that third LEGO MOVIE still, that's got its directors, release could be anytime at this point.

My Top 15 Best Series 2023 (part II)
10. Platonic
An excellent "non-romantic" comedy in which its protagonists have a great time rediscovering their lost friendship. Very sharp humor, somewhat far-fetched plots, and an exploration of adult friendship that fully embraces the "buddy" subgenre to give us a great time.
Tumblr media
9. Bodies- Cadavers
Dark is one of Netflix's most iconic and influential series, and Cadavers is its most faithful and interesting approach. Inspired by a DC comic book, it tells the threat experienced by several investigators when they discover the body of the same man murdered in different decades.
Tumblr media
8. Nolly
With Davies' usual style, it is a festive, benevolent, and emotional vindication of his figure, with Bonham Carter absolutely spectacular in her performance.
Tumblr media
7. One Piece
Much was feared about the adaptation of the most popular manga of all time, but One Piece, on Netflix, has conquered both fans and critics, and has also become one of the biggest audience phenomenons of the year.
Tumblr media
6. Gen V
A great and enjoyable expansion of Ennis and Robertson's despicable heroes universe... this time with a college and dark twist. The spin-off of 'The Boys' delivers exactly what it promises. And what is promised and delivered is exactly what we want.
Tumblr media
5. Mrs. Davis
If someone had told me before its premiere that this crazy series would be among the best of what has been released this year, I wouldn't have believed it. And it is precisely that campy factor that makes us enjoy jumping from one crazy twist to another, exploring inevitability.
Tumblr media
4. Blue Lights
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best police series of recent years. An exploration of the streets of Belfast that fantastically handles the intensity in building danger moments in the lives of these recruitments in the probation period.
Tumblr media
3. 30 Monedas (30 Coins)
The series sponsored by HBO Max is a crazed role-playing game where anything can happen. There are no limits to imagination or narrative constraints; plot twists prevail, surprises abound, and delirium ensues in pursuit of entertainment. Along the way, inevitably, a large number of enemies must be eliminated to reach the final villain, including unpredictable monsters and creatures. The whole package also includes extraterrestrial technology in a mind-boggling climax that sets the bar very high for the continuation of the tribulations of the brave Father Vergara and the troubled inhabitants of Pedraza.
Tumblr media
2. Succession
The most remarkable thing about Succession is that, although the children are almost as detestable as the father, each viewer has their favorite: the characters have such complex psychological depth that the series manages to make the progress of any of them be celebrated as if it were a football match. And that's why the definition in the last episode was a masterstroke that left no one indifferent.
Tumblr media
1. The Last of Us
The worldwide phenomenon of 2023 is the excellent adaptation of the video game of the same name. Although it is inevitable to think of other post-apocalyptic television dramas like 'The Walking Dead', with which it shares certain themes, the journey of Joel and Ellie is absolutely awe-inspiring.

Personal ranking of the Despicable Me/Minions movies (1 being the best)
Please do not attack me like you're on PX41 serum, this is just my opinion ;-;
5. Minions: The Rise of Gru
Don't get me wrong, I love this movie, and it was hard having to put any of these movies at the bottom of the list, but to me at least, it's really only at the bottom because of the sort of drab and/or uncreative dialogue choice, and parts of the plot just felt a bit uncreative to me. That's really it, because I love the characters in it, it's funny, and I just love the movie in general!
4. Despicable Me
Don't get mad at me please. Like I said, I hate having to put any of these movies near the bottom, and this movie is so iconic. I mean, this is where it all began! It's so creative, and it makes sense why it was so successful. I'm really only putting it here because I don't personally enjoy it as much as the other movies.
3. Despicable Me 3
This movie is really good actually. It's hilarious to me, I love Dru, Bratt, and Mel as new characters! Also come on guys, the prison scene is iconic. The reason I put it at rank 3 is because the idea of a twin brother is a bit unoriginal to me, Dru is a great character though, so that makes me forget about that.
2. Despicable Me 2
Ok, between DM 2 and 3, it was a hard choice, but this movie has such a nostalgic chokehold on me that it pushed my brain further to this decision. Plus, this movie is just very enjoyable in general! The introduction of Lucy was great (I'd definitely put her near my top favorite characters... I'm going to have to make another list aren't I?), I love the idea of evil minions (though arguably, that's about as cliché as the twin brother trope), and plus Dave is one of my personal favorite minions (how can you not love him? He's such a happy hyperactive little guy :'3)
1. Minions
Oh boy, this movie. This movie holds an even stronger nostalgic chokehold on me than DM2 does, but that's far from the main reason I chose this as the best. I see a lot of people mention that it's a pretty unnecessary origin story for the minions, but in my opinion it was executed very well. I love the 60's and 70's soundtrack in the movie, the characters are amazing, the storyline is in my opinion more creative than any of the movies (besides DM 1, I mean, that movie started it all man), and the minions are always enjoyable to have on screen. This is without a doubt my favorite movie of the DM/Minions franchise, and very possibly always will me.
That's my list :3 this is just my personal opinion. Every single one of these movies are incredible so it definitely wasn't easy for me to choose.
That is all. Thank you.

Review: DESPICABLE ME 4 - A Surprising Letdown Despite Looney Tunes Action
If you like the Despicable Me franchise, then Despicable Me 4 will work for you. However, it's tough to recommend to anyone else.
The Despicable Me franchise continues its roller-coaster trajectory. The now-iconic Minions have taken over entire areas of theme park culture, and deliver multi-billion dollar hits. At the same time, Despicable Me 4 hopes to correct a worrying decline around stories involving Gru (Steve Carrell) and his family. While the Minions: Rise of Gru surprised some as a return to form, Despicable Me does…

'Despicable Me 4': More Fun and New Villains ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If there ever was a good time to pull out Tracy’s iconic roach dress from the 1988 film “Hairspray,” “Despicable Me 4” is definitely it. You don’t have to like roaches or John Waters to find humor in the latest sequel following former supervillain Guru, his family and the cheerful yellow Minions. Director Chris Renaud (“Despicable Me” and “Despicable Me 2” with Pierre Coffin) returns; this time,…
