Forever finding it funny that a few months ago most of you were hating on him (rightfully so) for wanting international fans to come to him and not vice versa, but after the euro tour most of you are already gearing up to book tickets for his finnish summer tour. The devil works hard but the allure of seeing Jere's sweaty tits just one more time works harder

I went to the grocery store and don't understand what happened. 🥲 (Well, Jere and his cursed ass, devil horns and hockey gear, that's what happened). At least I have some Christmas treats for a while, I hope they're good. 😂

Oooh okei okei I have another Käsh moodboard idea.. how about something inspired by Devil Wears Prada?? Kä starting out with just Jere's (lack of) fashion sense but exploring his unconventional style more and more and getting bolder and crazier, while Tommy is the more experienced fashion designer/editor who teaches him stuff and who might also be becoming his sugar daddy wait this kinda sounds more like a fic idea I'm sorry XD
The Devil Wears Prada inspired moodboard for anon ✨ (Käsh writers here's some fic inspo👀)

I'm sorry but how does anyone ship belly with conrad? I heard he acts the same in the books as he does the show where he's constantly mean I would see them divorced less than 48 hours if that's the case or else she would be miserable why do these people have to write about these toxic relationships being real love? Literally abuser mentality they also have 0 chemistry >_> while Jere and belly have fireworks.
I would say he acts much worse in the books because he never paid any attention to her and constantly says mean things and calls her a kid. Secondly, both boys knew about Susannah's health, but the show tries so hard to push conrad as the main lead when he has no good qualities as a partner in a life. Agree sm, he's toxic, in my opinion, and mentally abuser. He never communicates about his feelings and acts only when Belly is with someone else already. Also, I hate how everyone excuses conrad every time he messes up, but when Jeremiah does one thing wrong, he's seen as some kind of devil and the enemy of the whole world...
Totally agree about Jelly! They have fireworks and the way they look at each other and how Jeremiah always talks about how he feels and never shuts her down and always ready to be everywhere for her. He remembers every detail about belly and actually respects her and sees as an equal and not a kid!!!

Wip - Okay I decided to do the bätmän idea from my mid-sticker-project panic brainstorm (x) and I honestly I love it so much already :3
So I'll add it to the concepts ^V^ (still have to figure out if it will stand in for väcätion or send heart for bojan ... honestly, I am leaning towards the latter :'D)

What are your thoughts about Susannah’s “to belly husband” letter in the third book? I love that she wrote it to Conrad but also that letter makes me so sad because when I read the book i felt like so many of the characters especially Jeremiah used it against Conrad… and like Conrad didn’t force his mom to write that? I know it’s just cause Jeremiah was once again mad realizing that everyone thought it should be Conrad with belly and he was taking out his anger on Conrad but iirc it just felt that added to everyone thinking Conrad was the devil and the reason their wedding ended but I mean while it was because conrad was still on belly’s heart that’s NOT Conrad’s fault he gave up belly and accepted her rejection at his confession on the beach… like idk it just makes me mad how everyone painted conrad as the devil in the books and even a letter supporting him that he had no control over was used against him 😭
Okay I totally agree with you. I feel like I need to take a moment to explain the Susannah letters at the end of book 3 because it seems like people are confused about the letter. It wasn't a letter to Belly's husband (and maybe this actually makes it worse), Susannah wrote letters for all of the kids on their wedding days (probably Steven too!) and we get to read Belly's in the epilogue. The letter that Laurel gave to Jeremiah was supposed to be Jere's wedding day letter from Susannah, I think they say that his name is written on the envelope. But the actual letter inside the envelope was Conrad's wedding day letter. I did feel bad for Jeremiah in that moment because it must have felt awful on top of everything else, but the way he took it out on Conrad was not fair to me at all. Conrad didn't put the letter in the envelope, he didn't even know what it said. Susannah probably mixed them up by accident when she was putting them in the envelopes (or Laurel did it on purpose). Either way, the letter wasn't Conrad's fault. I kind of loved that Susannah wrote that she had only ever seen Conrad in love once and it was with Belly.
I think it was important that Jeremiah got Conrad's letter by mistake because it's what finally woke him up and made him realize that he was making mistake and had been wearing blinders the whole time. I always felt that Jeremiah convinced himself that Conrad was horrible and that Conrad didn't really love Belly, not the way Belly loved Conrad and I believe that's how Jeremiah justified getting in between them. But when he read the letter and his mom said Conrad was in love with Belly, Jeremiah couldn't ignore it anymore, he finally accepted that Conrad wasn't an evil person and that Conrad and Belly really were in love in a way that Jere and Belly were never going to be. I always felt like Jeremiah was the only one who really held it against Conrad. I think maybe Steven was upset that both brothers had his sister upset, and Belly was upset with Conrad but to me it wasn't really about Conrad at the very end when Belly says it didn't rain and they didn't get married. Conrad was a big part of it, but Belly and Jeremiah realized together, finally, that they weren't really good together and weren't ready to be married. The letters really do make it sound like Conrad was kind of exiled, but it was really only Belly who exiled him (he talks about dinners with Laurel, Steven, Jere and Adam and how they're all reconciling). I think Belly just needed space away from both brothers for a while (it's kinda implied to me that she didn't talk to Jere for a while although she reconciled with him first). I think she just needed that space to think things over and grow into herself and see who she really was without being defined by everyone else. And it seemed like Conrad understood that too, and he wanted her to have that time and space, which is why he waited so long before writing her any letters (and he chose such nice way to reach out to her that put the least amount of pressure on each of them).
It does make me so sad that Conrad spent so much time and effort trying to be supportive of the wedding, getting Laurel on board for Belly, helping plan the wedding, agreeing to be the best man and then going to get Jeremiah for Belly so she can still be happy and everyone still blames Conrad for "ruining" the wedding. And it wasn't even his fault at all, or even really fully about him confessing his feelings- it was Belly and Jere finally admitting that they weren't good together and they weren't truly in love. They finally left delulu land for lack of a better word. At the end of the day Jere and Belly weren't it for each other, they weren't truly, deeply in love and they didn't give each other fireworks, they weren't a forever relationship (and everybody knew the whole time. that's why every single person is against the wedding to begin with). Even if Conrad didn't confess, they still might have called off the wedding or eventually got divorced. I hate how everyone makes it about Conrad when it wasn't just him that was stopping the wedding. Belly herself was not fully confident or all in on the idea for a lot of the 3rd book, she kept questioning the decision but she went along with the whole thing for Jeremiah.
basically, Jeremiah had a right to be upset but so did Belly and so did Conrad. And it was partly Conrad and the fact that Belly never stopped loving him, but i don't think it's fair to blame that on him or to blame the whole called off wedding on him.

Maybe controversial but I don’t know how, after Conrad, Belly, and Steven already sort-of-technically cheated on their partners in season one, it’s in any way believable to antagonize Jeremiah and have him do what he did in the books. They’ve kind of already played that card in the reverse, with Belly kissing Conrad.
Yeah, Jere didn't even cheat.
Yess they technically did the cheating trope already with Belly. They do a lot of role reversal I feel. Coz in the book it is Jere talking about their future tgt while in the show, it was Belly who said those things. LOUDER FOR THE B0NRAD STANS AT THE BACK.
And tbh I would pick a man who has cheated anyday over whatever toxic mess Conrad Fisher is.
When the devil can't get to you, he sends you Conrad Fisher to ruin your life imo.

the summer i turned pretty - 1x01 review because as initium said, i'm in a bad way
This is what happens when you've rewatched all of your shows to DEATH. You need a break.
I'm skipping the beginning of the first episode because I already saw it when it dropped and it made me violent.
So they're at the house now.
At least it's not a Beyonce song.
I do have to laugh at Conrad getting an ENTRANCE because, I mean, he's just a guy.
I didn't go back further enough. "You're growing up, you're in bloom." Oh jesus christ.
This is what I mean they don't talk to each other with any real emotion, they talk to each other like they're just delivering a line. "He didn't come last summer." "Well that's because we just got divorced but we're good now." I get the sense that Laurel is supposed to be not as warm as Susannah, she's supposed to be a little rigid and I guess insensitive/unaware of her children's feelings but even if that was the case, the way that line was delivered wouldn't be delivered that way.
Wow, Jere is WAY more annoying this season. When he's begging her to go into the ocean it's supposed to be charming, but instead he just sounds like a pest.
Oh, shit I didn't pass the country club part yet? Nope, skipping.
"Did you know my dad has a new girlfriend already?" I just feel like if you two were best friends, you would be having this conversation throughout the school year.
"OK OK we get it you've been working out" but that's not the same thing as aiming a phone into a basket.
So I thought Conrad and Steven were supposed to be the best friends? Like, I get that Conrad is sullen now because his mother is dying but if the previous dynamics were Steven + Conrad + Jere then Steven should automatically know something is wrong since Conrad is distant but he's aligned with Jere immediately. Unless I misread that.
Steven is just as annoying.
"Everything OK?" NO SHE WANTS TO GO TO THE BONFIRE LIKE A BIG GIRL WITH THE BOYS.
Cardi B. For a bonfire. OK.
This music. does not. go. AT. ALL. Please for the love of god, stick to Taylor Swift.
"Steven!" "Whaaaaaaaat are you doing here?" is literally the only time I believe them as siblings.
Belly. You called him over because you were uncomfortable. He's taking you away. And now you're SCREAMING? This girl is not a teenager she is just the worst.
This WOULD be a teenage moment if she called Steven over and he got Jumper away and she's like great thanks you can go now and he was like no no no come with me, wear my jacket, you shouldn't be here and she's like quit it. But screaming and then falling down (which I understand is supposed to be a gag) is ridiculous.
Stay home and watch a movie Belly.
This dialogue does not make any sense. "Who are you?" "WHO ARE YOU?" "Nicole. Conrad and I went to the deb ball last summer..." no no Nicole's not explaining herself to Belly, the next question is "Is she your girlfriend?"
"You're such a brat." Hahahahaha she's terrible.
"FUCK YOU" Belly. What the fuck?
Like OK I'm trying to play devil's advocate with myself. She goes to the beach to see Conrad and he's making out with another girl which she sees after falling down because her older brother is trying to get her to go home. This is a summer she's trying to get Conrad to see her differently. So she's embarrassed and she's lashing out. I can understand her frustration and her jealousy getting her to be like "I thought you said all debs were sheep!" but screaming fuck you at Steven is exactly why you're a brat, Belly. STOP OVERREACTING. Because your overreaction is what caused the scene not Steven guiding you away.
I didn't think there'd be a character worse than Jenny in GG but Belly is it.
Tumblr media
she looks like she's falling
Tumblr media
"You caught me on my way out" you went up to her and introduced yourself as Sextus, Cam.
So are we not going to talk about how Conrad makes out with a Black girl and his ex is dark-skinned and they're both disposable.
Cam and Belly are more tolerable to watch tbh. She almost does the twirly, giddy, omg a boy is giving me attention, nervous excitement naturally. Almost.
My brother is such a dick. Belly. Please. Shut up.
"I just knew it was going to be a bunch of kids getting drunk and I don't drink at all." oooooor "I didn't want to come, it's not really my scene, you know, I don't even drink, so..." that would sound WAY more natural.
LOL Jeremiah loves her so much. Also Jeremiah *sees Belly get elbowed in the face* oh, damn. you good?
"My name's Cam. Cameron." "Your name is Cam Cameron?" Jeremiah, how dumb are you? Really.
"Your hair's like a little kid's, the way it's always so messy." *staring* I'm sorry, this was supposed to be a moment?
OK so it's supposed to be this moment that Belly runs away from Conrad because she's going to do something for herself, she's going to see Cam, she's going to be more active but the implication is also that if Conrad wanted to do something she would always be available to him to do it and she's not doing that this summer so that's a shift in dynamics, which is why it would've been great if we saw her do the same habits at the beginning of the episode and then we saw that turning point at the end of the episode.
Again with Dawson's Creek it starts with Joey and Dawson talking about their friendship and how she thinks they're going to change and he doesn't think they have to and they share a bed together like they were kids because Joey gives into Dawson's arguments. At the end of the episode, Joey refuses to sleep in Dawson's bed, he insists that they're still the same, and she challenges him like OK if we are tell me what time of day you jerk off since we're still just friends and Dawson can't so Joey leaves because things HAVE changed but as she's rowing back across the street, he yells out the answer, signifying that they've changed but they're also still Dawson and Joey.

girl you feel sympathy towards Jeremiah? he manipulates everyone around him, does 'my mom has cancer' trick to guilt trip Belly and talks shit about his brother WHAT SYMPATHY
well, i'm not saying i love jeremiah. i'm feeling sympathy towards sixteen years old boy who has just lost his mother. everything that you've mentioned are definitely toxic traits and i have problems with liking jere's character because of those traits. however, i don't think that he's a villain actually. he has a competition with his brother and he's acting very immature and problematic in that competition, but if we remove conrad from the narration and view jeremiah as a separate character and not a part of love triangle, he's not a bad character. i'll forever be conrad fisher defender and i'll always choose conrad over jeremiah without any second thoughts, but i also don't think that portraying jeremiah as a devil himself is right.
