Honestly, this changes as I go through phases! This turned more into a which OC I’m most proud of which is definitely Vera. I love her themes, her aesthetic, her personality. I love the way she ties into the story and her relationships with the different characters. I was also obsessed with her for so long.

NEWEST OC

My Lost baby! I’ve got the basics of her down and I’m so excited to learn more about her. She finally seems to be clicking with me once I decided on her occupation. She’s smart and bitchy and independent and I just love characters like that so I’m gunna enjoy getting into her “guts” and seeing what makes her tick under it all.

OLDEST OC

Oh, Mia, my sweet girl <3 I’ve had her for over a decade and she’s changed so much since I first made her. She’s become such a blossomed and fully-fledged character. Writing her is so easy, like second hand nature. I’ve put this poor girl through so much inflicted her with so much trauma. She was one of the first occasions where I found out writing can really help me work through my own stuff. I gave her so many of my issues sorry queen. But in the end she gets to be happy and that makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

MEANEST OC

Three way tie! Xi grew up very privileged and with a certain amount of protection. She’s used to saying things like it is and fuck everyone else with a certain kind of detachment because empathy has never served her or her father who she admired a lot. Also she eats people, my Medusa <3 Nessa and Nora are come from opposite backgrounds to Xi and put people down sometimes to make themselves feel less insecure or to reassure themselves of their status.

Honorable Mentions: Catherine and Cassie. These two aren’t mean on purpose (usually), they just are very blunt and honest. Cathy doesn’t have patience for stupid questions either while Cassie is very stubborn about her views and will fight about them.

SOFTEST OC

My sweet girl :( So soft and sad and kind. All she wants is to make life better for people of Middle Earth and to atone for the sins of her forefathers. Tiriel has taken all of their sins onto her and while sad and suffering she has nothing but empathy and kindness even for those who hurt or betray her.

MOST ALOOF/STAND-OFFISH OC

Another three way tie! They’re all victims of their circumstances growing up and have learned that the only way for them to survive is become detached and cold. I love them for it but also someone give them a hug good lord.

DUMBEST (AFFECTIONATE) OC

Logan is a genius on paper. Gifted kid who has never had to study and got a full ride to a prestigious university but all the Mountain Dew and late night gaming sessions have rotted his brain and he’s stupid. He also, sadly, sometimes plays stupid so people expect less from him as his intelligence growing up resulted in a lot of responsibility and expectations being placed on him by his family. He was the first college graduate in his family and they knew he’d go far from the start so he was treated differently even if his parents and siblings were well-meaning.

Honorable Mentions: Mina. Impulsive and not the best judgement. Lana. She has a big heart though okay?

SMARTEST OC

Diana is THE bad bitch of the scientific community thank you very much. She’s intelligent in many different ways, creative, hardworking, and observant which leads her on such a quest for knowledge. Her intellect is not something that is just a stepping stone to a future career but something she nurtures and loves about herself.

OC YOU’D BE FRIENDS WITH IRL

The way I know this girl has everyone’s back and is so giving!!! She’s so kind and protects her loved ones so fiercely. Not to mention she’s very smart and loyal. 10/10 She’d be a bestie.
