Hello! In this guide I will show you how to do stuff.

1. WHAT IS DICEMASTER AND HOW TO GET IT.

Dicemaster is an addon that greatly expands rolling in RP events. It gives you the ability to quickly roll for attributes and assign modifiers.

2. WHAT IS FATE-A.

It's an extremely simple RPG system that requires almost no preparations. It bases on several attributes and a number of bonuses you can assign to a specific attribute.

The attributes are: STRength, DEXterity, CONstitution, INTelligence, WISdom, CHArisma and AWAreness.

The modifier pool is: +3, +2, +2, +1, +1 You can freely assign these modifiers to whatever attribute you want; so you could have, for example, +3 STR, +2 CHA, +2 CON, +1 DEX, and +1 AWA.

3. ROLL THRESHOLDS.

In my events most roll thresholds are static UNLESS stated otherwise.

Rolls for attack: 6+ is 1dmg. 12+ is 2dmg. 18+ is 3dmg.

Rolls for healing: 8+ is 1hp 16+ is 2hp

Rolls for custom attempts: Case by case basis, usually 10+ is a success

Whenever I ask: "What do you do?" it's a signal that it's player turn. You can choose to attack or perhaps do something else. If you attack, you don't have to say in raid chat what you do, just roll and emote. If you choose a custom action, you can (but don't have to) signal it in raid chat.

4. DICEMASTER SETUP.

After installing DiceMaster, this icon will appear on your screen. First you need to clock the little book next to the die.

Once there, click the "Skills" tab. Then clock "Choose a Template" and from the drop-down menu choose "+Import."

Now, copy this import string:

Paste it into the window and import it. This is what your DiceMaster window should look like now:

By clicking on specific attributes and using the + and - buttons you can assign modifiers to the attributes. Follow the FATE-A template for it. In order to roll, right-click the dice and click the attribute icon you want to roll.

And that's it! You are now ready to go!

Do note that you can move all elements of DiceMaster in edit mode!

Look at these masters! I’m so in love! I really want to polish them all right now! But I have so much to do! 🤣 It’s amazing how only two hobbies can rack up your time!
