when I was 18 I bought myself a pair of high heels and I stressed so much over it bc I was like I love these but I’ve never spent that much on shoes before and idk if I’ll even wear them much……. but it ended up being a quality choice bc yeah I don’t wear them much, but here I am literally 10 years later still wearing them as my go to ‘dressing up to go out’ shoes <3

When Izzy first walked out I was worried that he would be made into a joke that the crew would laugh at

but then he started singing and the dancing began and I realized that he wasn’t meant to be a joke at all. This is the most open and happy we’ve ever seen Izzy and the show treated it that way. Not mocking him but instead celebrating this moment.

When we talk about queer representation it’s usually just focused on queer relationships, but what I love about this episode is it shows other sides of being queer. That moment where Izzy saw Wee John doing his makeup and had a realization that he wanted that too? That is what being queer means to me. The crew singing along and cheering for him? That is what being apart of the queer community means to me.

What i love about this show is that it shows queer joy, not in a sanitized way, but in away that is messy, beautiful, and without any mockery or shame.

This is a dream I had. nothing in this actually happened. TW for talk of suicidal thoughts and suggestive content. 18+ please.

Started off pretty tame. I was back in school and reconnecting with an old friend I had. Someone told me he was planning to kill himself so I was like I can cheer him up I don’t want him to feel sad.

So I start talking to him and he’s like do you wanna come hang out after school and I said yeah. He warned me about something about his mother (I don’t remember what)???? But upon arriving at his house he lays down on the couch (on the full bed already prepared for him) and puts a thermometer in his mouth

His mom comes out talking on the phone and stops her conversation to feel my forehead as if I had a fever. I said “I promise I’m fine” and all she said was “we’ll see about that” and gave me a fuck ton of cough drops and told me to lay down.

Fast forward sometime and somehow me and my friend and like three other people are all crammed onto one bed or couch or something and we was doing things.

Suddenly though I am reminded that in real life not even in my dream (he wasn’t even there???) that I have a fiancé and am somehow actively cheating on him in my dream in which he is not in.

I felt every bit of guilt and every bit of regret. I think I actually started crying at one point???

But fast forward again we’re all on a basketball court (which was in the parking lot of a local church in my hometown) and my friend was in his(?) car and I go up to him to tell him that we shouldn’t have done what we was doing and all he had to say was “so you’re saying we should do it again in the car?” And hopped in the back seat.

I woke up.

noticed a dip in posts about palestine on my dash, so i think it deserves to be said again: palestine is not a trend. caring about genocide is not a trend. there are still reports about humanitarian aid trucks intentionally blocked off from gaza, meaning so many fucking gazans, a big portion of them children, are just bleeding out with no help. it just came out recently that israelis disguised as women and medics infiltrated a west bank hospital, at which point they killed 3 palestinians (whom they claim were militants. right). these people are living day to day without even the most basic utilities. anyone who claims to have “activism fatigue” needs to question why they’re so severely lacking in the most basic forms of compassion. you don’t get to just grow bored of talking about palestine. please never stop calling attention to the genocide happening full force in front of us.
