•BUT id say that pony never actually took the time to heal from his parents dying bc sm happened and at some point it kinda just hit him hard

•he lets pony talk about the small things his parents used to do w him, he wasnt that close to them like darry and soda was, but he did have his moments

•ponys mom had a recipe book on top of the cupboard and curly would try to make some of the foods, key word try, he somehow burnt em a lil but its the thought that counts

•pony would mention to curly how he was kind of starting to forget small things about his parents, like how they laughed, how they smelled, that sorta thing, and so curly would VENTURE out to find small things that could remind pony about his parents

•he also got pony to draw his parents for the first time in a while, so he wouldnt forget more what they looked like and he can look back on it

•ALSO YES, he is making sure pony eats something, but its not rlly like a full dinner, maybe something like mac and cheese, something small and simple

○ Gepard makes it his top priority to see most, if not all, of your shows. There have been many nights where he’s had to cut it close with his frontline duties, showing up just in time to witness the closing act. He always makes sure to bring flowers, your favorite kind, of course, and it’s always a HUGE bunch of them. Bonus points if he grew them himself!

○ There were times when you'd perform consecutive nights in a row, and your house would soon run out of space to keep all the bouquets Gepard delivered. But don’t worry, you would talk to him about it if you move in together. There really is no need for him to spend this much money on you! Yet he always insists, and one way or another, your house will be filled with flowers again.

○ Every one of his soldiers would know if you ever did a musical play because Gepard will not stop humming your solo after he heard it the first time. He also diligently memorizes the lines of your duets after you accidentally sang one together while cooking, and now he can't get enough of singing with you. You both get good practice too! It's a win-win.

○ Naturally, your acting career can be demanding. This makes both you and Gepard busy people who are rarely at home. It only makes those moments you get to spend some private time together all the more special, seeking solace in each other’s embrace as you momentarily escape your responsibilities.

○ Gepard understands how overwhelming your work can be, constantly dealing with other people, their opinions, and expectations of you. That being said, he doesn’t "abuse" his position as captain, per se. He may be a little biased when he’s quick to shut down any negative commentary people make about you, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

○ You don’t appreciate it when he hides those opinionated thoughts from you, but he's undeniably looking out for your mental health. Arguably, it’s slightly better this way too, and if you ever feel down or doubt yourself, he provides you with unwavering love and dedication.

○ He ensures you know that he’s not in love with you because of your talents or performance, but because he loves you for who you are. He greatly admires the passion you have and all the hours of hard work you put into acting, one of the many things that draw him to you.

○ Of course, life isn’t always perfect, and there are times when your schedules don’t align. If he has to leave for the frontlines before one of your concerts, he leaves you a letter of encouragement and a big bouquet on your dresser. He tries to see you before he has to leave as often as he can, but if you’re in dress rehearsals or learning a new script, there isn’t much he can do :((

○ On those rare occasions when he misses your performance before coming back home, there will always be a plate of warm food waiting for you, along with flowers or gifts that he personally gives you when you arrive or he picks you up from the theater, whichever comes first. He’s right by your side, listening intently as you recount the performance to him while you remove any remaining stage makeup.

○ This next one is purely food for thought, but if the acting troupe you’re with is relatively small and self-sufficient, Gepard would do his best to take up sewing to help you prepare or fix any costumes for performances. Sure, he breaks a ton of needles, and he’s probably not the best at it, but it’s cute that he tries so hard to lighten your workload while he’s just as busy himself...

You couldn’t help but nervously peak beyond the curtains, possibly the fifth time that night. The lights that shone on the stage glared so bright that everything beyond it seemed to melt into a sea of darkness, the faces of the audience obscured by the void. The final act of the show was about to come to a close, possibly the pinnacle of your acting career, but Gepard was still nowhere to be seen. 

Tonight was the last performance of this play, and Gepard, despite promising to be there for the first show, was still missing. A stagehand tapping on your shoulder brought your mind back from the shadows, and you realized you had been biting your nails unconsciously. With only two more minutes before stepping on stage, you needed to clear your mind for a good performance.

You pushed aside negative thoughts and swallowed your doubts, preparing yourself to step onto the stage. The scene required you to portray relief and joy as the protagonist reunites with their estranged lover after a challenging journey. However, an emptiness lingered in your heart, making it harder to wear the mask.

As the curtains rose, you squinted slightly against the blinding lights. The deafening roar of the audience rang painfully in your ears. Yet, as a professional, you knew you had to play the part. With one last gulp, you forced yourself into character, banishing any wavering nerves from your voice.

Just moments before the climax of the scene, a distant shuffling in the back of the theater caught your attention. Through the haze of darkness, you could vaguely make out the figure of a person who had just arrived. Your heart surged with relief when you realized it was none other than Gepard. His disheveled hair and slightly worn uniform were evidence of his haste.

When his eyes met yours, the light returned to your gaze, and your heart soared. If not for the arrival of your fellow actor on set, you might have forgotten your lines. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, and your genuine excitement upon seeing Gepard seamlessly merged with your character's emotions. You delivered a flawless performance, wrapping up the night with an encore.

You couldn't wait to find Gepard backstage, and you rushed to the lobby, barely out of your costume. The force and speed of your hug nearly threw him off balance, and he had to hold the bouquet at a distance to protect it. You scolded him for making you worry, and he simply nodded apologetically, soothingly rubbing your back. When you finally pulled away, he handed you the bouquet and planted a sweet kiss on your lips.

"I told you I'd be here," he whispered, intertwining his free hand with yours. Gepard always followed through on his promises, no matter what. 

unfortunately the title is the name of a genshin quest (lol !!) never quite felt a piece come 2 me as easy as dis 1. absolutely in love w/ the request !! the dark part of my mind kept screaming "what if geppie doesn't arrive" but of course he would !!! he wouldn't miss it 4 the world...

✮A/N: so sorry for the late reply🙏🙏 i wasnt sure if you wanted an angst? Or fluff? This was originally supposed to be angst where ena got jealous?? But i decided to scrap that yknow? Since reader here is a beginner, i feel like their drawings are good but not that good to make ena feel jealous.

✮Synopsis: ena sees you drawing and cant help but watch you.

✮Contains: fluff! Gn! Reader, ena is jealous at you from the start, reader calls ena, shinonome instead of her firstname, reader later calls ena her firstname, ena and reader are not close friends, just friends.

When ena first saw you drawing she didnt think much of it, she saw how nice your drawing is, making her feel a tinge of jealousy.

Her peeking was soon turned into staring, you noticed her staring frequently, she kept moving her seat at least an inch closer here and there, thats when you decided to speak up.

"..need something..?" You ask awkwardly, ena shakes her head "ah! No,no.. i just wanna watch you draw.. if thats okay with you, i didnt know you were an artist.." she added, you shook your head at her remark "oh, uhm.. im not an artist! Im just trying out drawing.." you replied "oh? But you art looks good for a beginner, can i watch you draw?" She asks, you nodded and you continued to draw while ena was watching you, you noticed how she watched was very focused.. was she studying how you draw? You didnt think much of it and continued drawing until you had an idea.

"Hey, shinonome can i ask you something?" You ask, ena nodded "oh, sure, what is it?" She asks, sounding intrigued, "would you like to draw with me?" Without hesitation ena nodded "oh, sure!" She says and grabs some pens and her sketchbook, while ena was flipping the pages, looking for a clean page to draw on, you couldn't help but stare at her drawings, they were very good..! Majestic!

"You sure draw alot shinonome, can i see your drawings? If you dont mind that is.." ena was a bit reluctant but eventually agreed, you flipped over some pages and saw a drawing of hers, it was a bouquet of flowers, the next was a colorful wolf, and the next was a girl who had no emotions, she has alot of different arts on her drawings , you couldn't help but point them out, "you also draw animals? Thats so cool shinonome..!" You exclaimed, ena cant helo but blush at your compliment, after all its not everyday someone acknowledges her for her art. "Oh, and this ones a flower, and thats a wolf.. how do you manage to draw all these things?" You ask, ena answers your questions and sooner or later, you both found yourselves talking about art, with ena teaching you the basics.

"I didnt know there were multiple things to study with art.. i thought you could just scribble here and there.." you groan playfully, ena chuckles at your statement "well yes its important to learn the basics, but whats more important is to have fun" she mentioned, you smile at her words and nodded in agreement.

While you were chatting and drawing with her you suddenly have the urge to ask her a question. "Oh, shinonome.! Theres one last thing i have to ask you" you added, ena nodded "oh sure" she replied "why did you think i draw good despite being a beginner? Whats so special about my art that makes it special than a beginner?" You ask before quickly trying to brush it off "a-ah! No need to answer its just.. the question's been lingering on my mind for some time" ena thinks for a moment, not too sure of her answer before eventually replying."well, the characteristics of your drawings are far more different than beginners.. thats what i noticed.. your lines are somewhat refined.. when i was teaching a friend of mine about drawing, her lines were uneven and she was overusing outlines.. which made her drawings appear more.. heavy? But yours is different.." she replied, it was making you feel confident, you were different from other beginner artists, your ego has been boosted thanks to ena! "Oh wow.. that made me feel confident.. thanks shinonome!" you smile at her, and she smiled back.

"But why that question?" She asks. "Well, it kind of caught me off guard that you told me that my drawings were different from other beginner artists and i just wanna know" you replied and ena nodded to herself soon enough a chime was heard, indicating school was over, you and ena both packed your things and cleaned up your desks.

"It was nice talking to you, shino-" ena cuts you off before you can even finish your sentence "oh, no.. please call me ena" she smiled "oh okay ena, and please call me [Y/N]" you added and ena nodded "okay [Y/N], you were saying?" You cleared your throat and continued your statement. "I was wondering if you could.. uhm.. bring your sketchbook's tomorrow, i really wanna see your drawings and yknow, maybe have some inspiration?" You ask "its okay if you dont-" ena interrupts and nodded happily "why yes.! Im more than happy, ill make sure to bring my favorite sketchbook" she added, you nodded and waved goodbye, going to your separate ways.

Ena was very happy when you asked to see more of her drawings, she was happy that you acknowledge her drawing skills, maybe she would being more sketchbooks than expected.. oh well! More references for you!

been a few years since i sat and did a proper october drawing challenge (think my last was 2021? probably 2020) and every year i didnt follow a prompt list but just went "i drew somethinf👍" but maybe this year i should find a prompt list for real and try my best... ive started drawing a little bit of dragon ball but i think ultimatly my favorite things to draw is cartoon furries but i do wanna broaden up what i draw too. took a very deliberate turn in my art to only focus on my cartoony stuff since i was really unhappy being like mediocre at my cartoon art since i neglected it for my illustrations (which i was also unhappy with but in hindsight they literally look fine it just took forever and wasnt fun)

but playing with dragon ball has been fun since its a really unique challenge for me since other than furries i primarily draw/ drew shoujo inspired with elegant girls and flowers and biiiiiiig eyes and its funny cause i always thought "well im never gonna wanna draw anything super masculine so im not gonna worry about trying it" and now here i am sitting gripping my pencil and going "i wish i knew how to draw goku what the hell"

but i dont see myself as like moving my art towards dragon ball as a main staple (once im out of my situation in like a week i hope to get more drawing done but ive been making a slow progress) like i still love sonic ive just been very uninspired(?)/ no passion lately like the amount of immense physical pain ive been in has really dulled my edges i think and i hope i can get back in touch with my special interests (been playing more with my neopets lately has helped since theres a connection for me between sonic and my neopets but thats another string of thoughts) but anyways i do wanna focus on learning to draw dragon ball guys and i think that will help bridge me back into drawing people too.

noah and alejandro had somewhat still stayed in touch after reconnecting and were somewhat friends, after owens murder he was the first one he went to and asked him to help after questioning him and feeling confident that alejandro didnt do it, because despite alejandro not being too fond of owen in the past, he felt he had no reason to do it since he was doing wayyy better than he was during total drama

and the chris drawing was mostly just a callback to celebrity manhunt lol

and for zoey, her and mike broke up not too long after all stars but are still best friends to this day as well as cameron, but shes too busy running her flower shop to have time to hang out with mike as of late

this is a collage of pages and each single one was taken from a different comic, every single one that existed so far, including the very recent one. well i only missed the valentines comic that is

and u can def tell something changed yeah. and that im focused on arama maybe too much. but he is really a character who got a ton of headcanons that i want to talk about. and some of them were basically build in that public ask, such as ears touching that we are not talking about either. i really had some crack time with it.

i was just having a lot of fun. with the requirement of 1 comic (thats actually not necessarily for it to be a comic, but i love making comics) per month, in the very first month i made three, each of which was 3 or more pages long. i even got a second role of, you wont believe who, ararycan because i was just as confident... but ended up with just 2 comics one of which was 1 page long before i left it behind. that was jus too much.

so uh, what i wanna talk about is my funky ref sheets for these because goddamn these are the hilarious.

the very first refsheets i used, except for cinnamon arama one cuz it sucked and was made long before i introduced cinnamon arama to the public and his design was a bit different. i think it was the very first time i ever showed cinnamon arama anywhere, somewhere in the end of november? but this ref most likely was made about a month earlier, alongside with my names comic (the third one) when i started my book long tractate (its really long trust me). that tractate started with discussing names and language so i think it was that time.

and u can see the very first cinnamon arama encounter with the very first page that has him among others.

also i used to make actual gradient on his cap, but with gradient maps over it, that started looking like two separate colors and i took it as a feature, up until now. and that applies for every single aranara i ever drew, i never used gradients.

and since i got a role of ararycan at that time, i added him here as well. he doesnt have that gradient too. its also the time when their mouths could open finally, and for long these were rather catlike for whatever reason. but i like it. my necoarc drawing expirience def helped me with that.

this is the very first ref of cinna arama that i used up until recent. i for some reason made him kinda reddish... but i think thats because under gradient maps he looked more yellowish. then i stopped using these and didnt change the design anyway. and as u can see, the pattern on the cap is still incorrect, while we are somewhere in january, when my last cinna arama comic was made lol, not including the one im working on now ofc. this refsheet looks like arama lore btw.

in the meantime i only changed his bud into flower* with one petal bended. this is what i was talking about when i said that u can differ regular arama and cinnamon arama even if i wont color them. cinna also has shaggy scarf tip, in case u didnt notice.

and we are finally at the current moment, this is the most recent refsheet. simple yet accurate, and i love this one. i love how it took me half a year to finally understand the design. they look kinda yummy like that, but its unwelcome to eat aranara and shriveled seeds somewhere near me. thank you.

Okay I was gonna reply to this with a whole comic but it's taking a wHILE and I don't wanna keep you waiting THAT long so. Here's an answer in text for now!!

Roseverse didnt start out as an AU. It was a bunch of loose ideas all the way back in late 2021 for an idea I was struck with like when that Greek dude with the bathtub and the gold cried EUREKA! Except, you know, instead of making a huge scientific discovery I just made a bunch of nerd shit instead. Which is SOOO Haiderrrr /lh /affectionate

The idea was " What if Habit and Kamal were childhood friends"? ( Plaintext: What if Habit and Kamal were childhood friends? ) And so I worked off that basic premise. I took Habits diary pages, analysed them, and drew and thought out what he'd be going through and looked like at the time, with Kamal as well to mutually play off of each other. I did this ALL with my very good friend @prrusten 's help, hell we didn't even mean to make something so big, we were just talking and having fun and hitting it off!

But yeah. Here we are...Almost 3 years later! And now it's become a whole AU called Roseverse, after its Flower Kid sona/insert, Rose T. Flower. But it's not actually about him HwjjskHAKSJSJ--and its branched out beyond just Habismal though TBH Gillis is still the MOST underdeveloped character in the whole thing LOL I'll think of ideas for you one day someday muscleman. It's changed a lot too. There was a phase with Mad Scientist Kamal and everything. I don't think I'll ever post everything aha! But I will surely share content while I can.

Infact one of the changes is Habit's design...! You've seen some ofthe newer refs as opposed to Grumpus looking Habit, he looks more like a marionette. I still dearly love the old design...but messy stuff just happened and I feel immensely wrong using it again for newer art now. So I needed a specific revamp to indicate change for me. I don't really wanna get into every detail but I'll make a appropriate post about it one day or like update my pinned when I'm ready and know.

i had this idea since like new yrs, lol. i wanted to make it seem like an event in the actual game or sumn and other brainstorming later i decided to go w gb!nrc students in valentines day attires (or sumn IDK)

the plot begins w the cliche of falling in love in disney movies, and each yr 8-10 students r chosen to act like the little "cupids" of the school for valentines day. they run around for like a week before valentines day to make students that theyre assigned w court their crush or sumn like that. afterwards, if theyre successful, they move on to the next.

cupids mustnt let anyone know that theyre a cupid, otherwise theyd be automatically disqualified. 2 weeks before the actual thing, they have to get to know the targets crush to figure out how to matchmake the two.

there r many ways for courtship to occur. in aces drawing, she uses the classic bow and arrow (minus the arrow, shes still stretching her bow) made out of conjured magic.

for idia and orthos case, since theyre considered "one student", they get to work together. idia finds information abt the target and their potential love interest and ortho helps out by helping out the target for courtship to happen. (ex. she gives them flowers and chocolate and suggests giving it to them, arranges a romantic dinner for the two, stuff like that)

the given attire is a corset, a given headset to give any updates on matchmaking, a short long-sleeve, and a shiny dress. when the attire is worn, it camouflages the cupid, allowing them to roam around and observe whether theres any matchmaking progress or not.

anddd thats p much it for now!! i dont wanna overthink this too much cuz if i do i might figure out that this whole thing is a bad idea and jus scrap it altogether 😭

I personally believe that everything ultimately repeats -- or rather, every iteration of something will eventually play out, and things will keep happening over and over and over again. To be honest, it’s not a healthy belief system to hold. But I don’t really hold out hope for an infinite afterlife either. I guess I hope for it? “It's not just that." He held his arms together, looking towards the ground. "Back when we were in the guest house, when I was in that room with Bardiya..." He swallowed. "I didn't want to say it back then, since I was sure it would, ah. Make people think I was even more suspicious. But... When it was happening, when he was being lifted into the air... I thought I saw something behind him. Dragging him up against the barrier."

"Why would you only mention this now?" Kam asked, her tone terse.

"Well-- Because it's impossible. There was no space for anything to be dragging him. It was like a ghost. It was there and it wasn't." He kept looking down, his knuckles tight. "I was sure it was just some trick of the light, since it was so dark. But back when I rushed out in the conference room, I thought I saw it again. In the corner. The same shape..."

"What shape?" Seth asked him.

"The same one you saw in the hall. Or in the story Saci told." He swallowed. "Like a cross between a winged creature, and... I don't know. Some sort of insect."

With this... I want to finally celebrate the first anniversary of this comic! While technically the first page was done on September 19th and some of the characters had been created long before, it was a sketch the one that kickstarted the whole comic idea and that one was made on September 17th, 2022.

Last year I was working but I had lost most of my love for art due to multiple reasons. I decided to start this comic because "If I don't do it now i will never do it". And it ended becoming a sort of miracle cure: Working on this brought me back all the love I had for arting. And while properly getting back into the groove was extremely hard (couple with a lot of RL reasons), this comic helped me to regain my sanity and the appreciation for everything.

I decided to pour here everything I had learned so far. Writing. Trying to make a story that didnt rely on crude jokes, edgy stories just for the sake of being edgy, and trying to keep it SFW to an extent.

Chapter 1 didn't have much writing on it beforehand (just a vague note); I was trying to just "draw, don't stop". I was also afraid of losing interest (like has happened with most of my stuff before) so I wasn't sure how far I was going to reach with this (and that's why I didn't try to make a page like this for the comic at first). But I carried on. And started properly writing the story I wanted. I look at it now and its insane for me to think that I have an actual proper story, a lot of characters and relationships that feel natural.

This story is what I think is my magnum opus and I'm putting all I know, learned and have into it. However, saying I've done this alone would be super false. I tried to put in the credits the peeps who have helped me in one way or another, and I want to sincerely thank not only them, but also you, the reader, for your interest and for reading this, and also to everyone who shares this and so. I hope to continue making a story you like.

Panel 1: D is in a graveyard. He says "…And that's what's been going on. I even got a space sister, one that actually acts way less spoiled than your daughter in spite of having much more".

Panel 2: D smells a handful of flowers with their eyes closed.

Panel 3: D drops the flowers next to the gravestone of 'Emma Reh' with an epitaph in German: 'Der Tod, so bitter er auch sein mag, ist nicht das Ende, sondern nur eine weitere Stufe, von der aus wir zu einem besseren Leben ��bergehen'. D says "You know what, old hag? I forgive you for all the bullshit. To be honest, I'm sorry you never found happiness in your life; unlike what you taught me, I learned that life actually can be beautiful and worth living. I don't really love you, but I genuinely hope you found some peace at the end, and that you're having fun with all your boys down there. Now it's my time… to leave with my new family, or pack, as we call ourselves. And you… You sleep well or whatever. Auf Wiedersehen wir sehen uns in der holle".

Panel 4: The band is walking through a street, but both Sher and Rowi are hugging D. Rowi says "Hey D, you're still very stressed. Wanna get some Döner Kebab with us?". D replies "S…sure! Thank you guys. You're the best thing that has happened to me in my life".

Panel 5: Roi, standing on a ceiling, wearing a visor, says "We love you too, D. You can be sure of that". There's a small narration square saying "End of recap. Thank you for reading this intermission. The story will resume in Chapter 8".
