hihi!!! i have fem twst valentine's art so here u go :3

i have a wider idea abt this so more info under the cut ^w^

heres the list of the students ill doing!!

i had this idea since like new yrs, lol. i wanted to make it seem like an event in the actual game or sumn and other brainstorming later i decided to go w gb!nrc students in valentines day attires (or sumn IDK)

the plot begins w the cliche of falling in love in disney movies, and each yr 8-10 students r chosen to act like the little "cupids" of the school for valentines day. they run around for like a week before valentines day to make students that theyre assigned w court their crush or sumn like that. afterwards, if theyre successful, they move on to the next.

cupids mustnt let anyone know that theyre a cupid, otherwise theyd be automatically disqualified. 2 weeks before the actual thing, they have to get to know the targets crush to figure out how to matchmake the two.

there r many ways for courtship to occur. in aces drawing, she uses the classic bow and arrow (minus the arrow, shes still stretching her bow) made out of conjured magic.

for idia and orthos case, since theyre considered "one student", they get to work together. idia finds information abt the target and their potential love interest and ortho helps out by helping out the target for courtship to happen. (ex. she gives them flowers and chocolate and suggests giving it to them, arranges a romantic dinner for the two, stuff like that)

the given attire is a corset, a given headset to give any updates on matchmaking, a short long-sleeve, and a shiny dress. when the attire is worn, it camouflages the cupid, allowing them to roam around and observe whether theres any matchmaking progress or not.

anddd thats p much it for now!! i dont wanna overthink this too much cuz if i do i might figure out that this whole thing is a bad idea and jus scrap it altogether 😭

the first art i made of this was ace, which is obvious from how wonky she looks. she took about 14hrs to complete, and 91 layers (GOD)

the next was idias, which i acc made today at school! took me WAYY shorter than aces, w just 3 and a half hrs :3 overall her layers r aroundd 54-55

and orthos took 6 and a half hrs (oof) 3 HRS ALONE JUST TO GET THE LINEART RIGHT (MECHA IS SO HARD TO DO RAHHH) the piece consists of 53 layers, which is almost identical to idias!

the highlights in their hair r even matching, which i didnt even realize until jus now 😭

BRAIDING JAMIL’S HAIR (without magic lol)

i’m not really sure if it’s canon that he braids his hair with magic but meh (pls correct me tho)

anyways, when you announced the idea to let you braid his he’s very hesitant if he should because he usually does it himself

also because once he let someone braid his hair but they were too and i mean TOO rough on his hair (ifykyk and i am saying this from experience)

but since YOU are his s/o he would let you (i mean he trusts you OFC HE WOULD)

so y’all just get on his bed and get started

his hair is SO silky and smooth like BOY WHAT SHAMPOO DO YOU USE I NEED ANSWERS

when he felt your fingers through his hair he felt very relaxed because he loves the feeling of your hands AND you weren’t too rough on his hair, he loves you for that

you picked a rather hard but beautiful style of braided hair (your choice ofc)

once you’re finished he looks at the mirror and has stars in his eyes is amazed

yes, most (prolly all) r ooc, yes, i in fact do not give a fuck, hes a menace to me and i love him for it

— he used to do that thing where hed flip his eyelids and hed chase his sister around

— he unintentionally convinced kalim that he was in some sort of gangster group bc of how he squats — kalim now squats the same way jamil used to

— jamil and najma used to be the same size and body type, so as a joke they swapped each others uniforms (the top portions specifically) and wore them to school. both of their classmates questioned their genders for weeks.

— he related to that snake in that snake eating game at one point of his middle school life (no he didnt have a reason why)

— one of the special moments that he took pride in during middle school was when he outsmarted a teacher about some formula. he was so prideful he boasted about it to kalim

— he used to dress like kalims PE wear whenever he did anything sports related

— he has a small scar on his cheek as a result of accidentally crashing into his room through the window

— whenever kalim annoyed him, hed angrily draw a stickman, name it kalim, then put the stickman behind bars — he has several forgotten drawings in one of his drawers in his old room

— he had an emo phase and infected najma and kalim in the matter of days

— every time the moon was crescent he pictured jafars face (his chin)

— he pretended to enjoy arts to spend time with najma and kalim

— he used to be really graphic whenever he chopped vegetables

— he continued to like curry thinking someone would poison it again and hed be able to escape being kalims servant one day

— najma taught him how to do makeup
