Thomas is in Porto Alegre, Brazil, working on the story board for season 6. This is confirmed because in the image/sequence we see: 605_2, so the number confirms that it is S6.

SO YOU CAN SEE THAT HE IS PARTICIPATING A LOT, now this IS FROM Brazil SO WE WILL SURELY HAVE NEWS SOON, SINCE WE KNOW THAT BRAZIL HAS A DIRECT LINE WITH MLB NOW.

NOW ANY CLUES FROM S6? Well, look, in the link above we have better quality than the previous posts, which did not show anything at all, but it is not that much is seen, let's try to get something...

1 image: in the thumbnails below, there are 2 characters, many say they are Marinette and Adrien, it can't be Marinette because the two characters look like they have super short hair and in the new designs Marinette doesn't have hair like that,

(yes, I said that she was going to change it in the future, but that's still a while away and you can see that they haven't made much progress) so it can't even be NEITHER MARINETTE NOR LADYBUG, so it's ruled out.

Now could it be Adrien? Nor, if the characters have grown, logically the tallest one would have to be Adrian, since he was tall when he was in previous seasons,

So who could they be? It started with the short guy, notice that he seems to have glasses, so we will have to look for a short character with glasses, IN THAT EQUATION MAX AND Sabrina COME IN, and judging by the haircut, it's a good idea that it's Max, then it could be him, If he is Max, by that rule of three, the one next to him could be Kim, since with that difference in height, short hair and muscles...he looks like him, THEN THEY COULD BE KIM AND MAX.

2 image, we have what appears to be a girl with glasses and a ponytail...people say she could be Marinette with the mouse and the horse miraculous, but again this doesn't make sense, since that hairstyle is not from marinette,

and yes, its design in exchange for this season, but not that much, it wouldn't make sense....honestly I only see someone here in civilian clothes, if they have glasses and are female we have to think about those characters: it could be Sabrina, that pose is very her,

and with those big glasses it sounds to me like it's her, it's possible that she might change her hairstyle here, we remember that she loves soccer, I wouldn't be surprised if she had a ponytail...

Immovable Upside

Currently appearing in "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger," the currently airing Super Sentai series, actor Hirakawa Yuzuki-san makes her second appearance in our magazine. She's changed her hair, having it cut into a shorter style, as she presents her pure and mature duality, which has become even more transparent.

-We've been rushing through the year-

"You've cut your hair short, and your look is totally different from the last time we saw you. Personally, how do you feel about your current short hairstyle?"

Hirakawa: Before I started acting, I always kept it short, so it somehow feels nostalgic. I cut it because of my role, but I thought it was abit of a waste since it's been that long for about 5 years (laughs). Still, I think it'll be fine since it grows quickly.

"Starting from episode 27, the second chapter of King-Ohger is set two years later. We think the change in hairstyle made it easier for you to make changes in your performance."

Hirakawa: That's true. I think I'm able to show more strength. I think that after two years, they're more aware and prepared as a king, and that they have a greater sense of responsibility.

"Now that the story has progressed considerably, are there any memorable moments from the episodes that have been broadcast so far?"

Hirakawa: In episode 25, the sense of distance between Rita and their retainer Morfonia, or rather, the values of their relationship have become much closer. It was a time where Rita gathered the courage to take another step forward on their own, so that episode left quite an impression on me. From there, the way they interacted with Morfonia changed completely, so I think it was a turning point for them. Also, in episode 38, they reveal the face they've been hiding up until that point, and showed all kinds of facial expressions as an "idol," so I hope you enjoyed it.

"It's already aired, so if you haven't seen it yet, please catch up and watch it…..! By the time this magazine comes out, filming for the final episode will be underway, right?"

Hirakawa: In about another month or so……"We've got such a long time before it starts!," is what I thought, but only for a moment. I think it was more instantaneous after the Summer film ended. Until then, we weren't used to filming, and everyone was in a state of just trying to figure things out. The cast members have been good friends since the beginning, but since we spent alot of time together, including during the regional promotional campaigns for the Summer film, we became even closer, and that time really flew by.

"For those who view things similarly, the "loss" seems to be intense."

Hirakawa: It might be because me and the rest of the cast are starting to become aware of the end, or maybe it's because some fans are also like, "It's coming to an end….?" I still go out to dinner with all the cast members after filming, so I think we'll still probably see each other again ever when it's over. We've been together for a year and we've gotten to know each other very well, so when I imagine the end of filming, I feel incredibly sad.

"As a fan, I'm going to miss seeing everyone's friendly conversations on Toei Channel very much……Now, 2023 will soon come to an end, looking back, what kind of year was it?"

Hirakawa: We've really been rushing through the year. I've been working hard during the filming of King-Ohger in order to make it better and to help myself grow. I was able to experience many things this year, as there were quite a few jobs that came about as a result of King-Ohger, and it was the most thrilling year for me as a performer. Of course, there were many things I worried about, but I think it was also an extravagant year, filled with many happy and frustrating experiences.

"What kind of year do you want 2024 to be?"

Hirakawa: I think I'll be apart of King-Ohger until the first half of the year, when we perform at G-Rosso, but after that, I'll have to move forward on my own. I'd like to "polish" my inner self and become a more appealing person. As for my work, I'll do my best to continue to appear in productions without taking any breaks inbetween.

Had a (genuinely curious) question about Ma’al’s design though - why did you (both?) decide to have Ma’al be smaller than J’onn as adults? Does it bother y’all when/if people think Ma’al is a younger sibling of J’onn’s, instead of their twin? Was it to avoid people thinking Ma’al was J’onn in a different outfit/with a different hairstyle?

Also super curious how y’all being identical twins yourselves affected Ma’al and J’onn’s designs….

Oh my gosh what an absolutely kind thing to say!! :') thank you!

We designed Ma'al that way for a couple of reasons!

It's a homage to how the two are depicted in the comics! While by definition of their birth (or how their birth was described in the comics) they are monozygotic twins, and by earth standards identical twins, since they're from a planet of shapeshifters they can still pick whatever form they want regardless of the circumstances of their birth. In the comics, Ma'al is always thinner and a bit smaller in stature compared to J'onn. We just exaggerated it~

For story reasons in our AU, Ma'al wasn't well cared for growing up, being treated as a science experiment for most of his life. So not only does he not look as "strong" as J'onn, but his form also reflects his desire to live out the life he didn't get to have- or how he perceives where he is at in life. I compare it to the concept of Queer Time: where queer people don't progress into adulthood in the same way non-queer people do because they missed out on various supposed life milestones. Ma'al is living his messy young adult life. while J'onn had a life partner and wanted to have kids.

It doesn't bother me when people think Ma'al is J'onn's much younger brother instead of his twin! I get a lot of people mistaking Ma'al for M'gann too (because he dresses so non-conformingly). I think it's funny, haha. Plus some twins just be like that~

Being identical twins ourselves didn't affect J'onn and Ma'al's designs (we look straightforwardly identical and even play it up with our outfits), but it does affect how they're written! I have a lot of feelings about how multi-birth people are depicted in media, and I find non-multi-birth writers tend to fall into some really tiresome tropes. Ma'al as a character is so straightforwardly an evil twin trope it's painful (right down to tricking people by disguising himself as J'onn in the comics, boo).

There's an opportunity to create an incredible story and dynamic if Ma'al is written with like a fraction of nuance and people's biases on identical twins weren't holding them back. Most twin stories are about twins maturing and splitting up to be "individuals" but Sons of Mars is about twins reuniting and sticking together. The martians living together in a foreign planet pulls from our experience studying abroad and living together :)

Because the Vees are main villains in SS AU, right?

  - Alastor "reunion" with Serinity after she takes his defence on the meeting   - Alastor VS Vox (like stayed gone)   - And somewhere Angel Dust business with Valentino and Charlie show her authority.   - [...]

The plan I have in mind:

In my AU, I generally left the issues related to Heaven until later (season 2).

In my mind, the first season is about the members of the hotel forming bonds and starting to support each other.It included character development of characters like Angel and Husk. That's why the greatest showdemon arc happened at the beginning of the first season and the team was starting to work with each other and really get to know each other.As the season progresses,

the Overlord meeting

(Alastor knows who Misfortune is. In his past, Alastor tried to hunt Serenity like other overlords, but Serenity ended it with a conversation instead of a fight.They have no friendship. Serenity revealed her identity after arriving at the hotel in the 2nd season

(The reason for this was that Season 2 was generally related to the backgrounds of the characters, and since Serenity was directly connected to Alastor's background, I put her in that section)

Alastor's fight with Vox, Angel's confrontation with Val, Mentioning the past of Husk and Angel (This part takes place in the scene where Angel and Husk are discussing their problems before the song Loser Baby)

Constantine is also a character from Season 1. After the Greatest Showdemon arc (Not exactly after that arc, but I didn't know exactly which events to put. After the team members and the hotel have seriously improved) when the hotel makes serious progress, Charlie invites her brother to the hotel to show her progress. (Charlie and Lucifer's relationship is seriously bad in this AU, so Charlie doesn't try to reach her father,she thinks "he won't listen to me anyway)

And Constantine, who saw sinners improving in a truly strange way He gets the proof he wants And after this thing, he personally goes to his Father and says these words to Lucifer after a serious conversation.

"I will not repeat myself again, father. Consider this as a warning from your son. Either you put your pride aside and go to your daughter and listen to her ideas and plans. or As a result of the decision you made, not only will you lose your daughter whom you love dearly, but you will also not have a son. Make your choice father, you don't have much time. Until then, I hope you have fun in your eternal loneliness."

After this conversation, Lucifer comes to the hotel and confronts Charlie. listens to her ideas.

I don't have a full timeline, but in general, all the events I write about happen before the heaven arc.I wanted Charlie to go to heaven with as much evidence as possible and to gain self-confidence and become more of a leader in the meantime.

If I were to write in summary form. (I don't write in the form of a timeline, just events)

Season 1

-Charlie's meeting with Adam

-Team bonding

-Greatest show demon arc (this is included in the team's bonding tool)

-Overlord meeting

-Vox and AI fight

-Angel getting rid of Val

-Constantinen's arrival at the hotel.

(There may be a lot different arcs in this season, I really don't know, most things are still WIP)

SEASON 1 in general A season where the Vees are the main enemies.

Season 2 (The main enemy in this season may be Roo, but I don't know)

-Serenity comes to the hotel

-Lucifer comes to the hotel

-Charlie goes to heaven alone.

-she meets all the true archangels one by one and finally tries to convince Azrael.

So yes, these are what I have in mind, but my thoughts are generally WIP.As I said, this is your story and I'm not a good writer, so it would probably be better if you decide the plot yourself! 🌟❤️

Hi, actually, I've asked a few Dicktim au ideas at you as anon, but I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone a little, so I didn't hide myself this time... Anyway, here's a batcest au that goes a little too far

"Probably everyone knows about the most popular video game of recent times. The game, which was suddenly released and the producer of which was unclear, had appeared with the promise of a reward to the person who managed to complete all its parts. However, despite the attempts of almost everyone in the world, no one has succeeded so far. 'Batfamily' is a yandere otome game that hosts four possible partners. And there's only about a week left for the award to be given, so all the game lovers spread it around, who knows, maybe someone we never expected will be the lucky winner of completing."

Tim grunted as he connected the virtual reality glasses in his hand to the TV. He couldn't stand Steph's endless insistence again and became forced to do something he didn't want to.

Which he wasn't going to lie, the game actually had very interesting features. It had a high-level technology that allowed the formation of personalized characters by uploading all the characteristics of the player to the database, and according to what he had heard, the game's male leads also had remarkable features.

Together with Dick, there was an initial situation similar to the scenario of Bruce not letting Tim go again, but as time progressed, it turned out to be much different.

Dick had transformed Tim into a baby in every sense. He fed him with drugs that would make him lose control of his body, brought back his hairstyle from the first moment they met at the circus, dressed him in dresses with a diaper attached underneath

He also started acting like a kind of mother, and when Tim tried to run away, he slapped his butt and even his baby pussy with a very sad expression on his face saying 'How mommy is so sad to hurt his baby but Timmy is starting to become a bad boy so he has to do it... The result was a complete disappointment...

Everything was actually developing quite nicely. There was even a scenario that he could call normal, except for threats of being killed and having his throat slit and left for dead covered in blood. But what really made Tim happy was the fact that everyone could start getting along with each other. This has never happened in any personal story, and Tim even began to believe that the concept of 'Batfamily' in the title of the game was real

But then his character died suddenly. He died on a mission that he went with his team, not even by the main characters in the game

What was the point of everything then? That's why Tim didn't like anything other than war games, okay... So stupid, not even a real ending... As he grunted, he noticed how sleepy he was starting to get... Oh, maybe he should have gone to bed, because there's school tomorrow, right?

And then he woke up on a different bed(different how, why is everything is so not right) to a smiling Dick on his bedside. Ah, he probably slept in the manor instead of his own nest then. But he is still sleepy so maybe he should lie down a little bit more, right?

He didn't see the promising dark glint in the normally happy eyes...

And cut... It would probably be nice for me to explain a little bit in order to fully reflect what's in my head. Tim really died on a mission with his team without any way of salvation. Just before his death, everyone in the family had really started to get along with each other, but Tim's funeral left everyone devastated.

Everything I've mentioned as a personal story is fantasies that the characters start to create in their own dreams in order to prevent Tim from leaving. The main general part is what is really done. The game contained magic, which was also the reason why no one who played it except in a different world that was most similar to their own Tim was successful. As soon as Tim finished all the episodes, he was teleported to the other world along with the memories of his dead version. They'll probably start implementing their dreams in the personal story on him now, but that's all I have. It's been a little long, but I hope I didn't bore you

and the trope of 'otome isekai' is one i've seen growing lately and thinking about along with tim is sooooo interesting 👀👀👀👀👀 it's definitely much rarer to see- combined with my favorite kind of genre in fic 'alternate universes clashing or interacting with each other'!!!!!!!

the concept of losing tim and how it drove the bats a little bit insane is so good because it results in them being insane enough to come up with this plan to drop a 'game' into various universes to find their perfect tim and take them home and make him their little wife/the mother of their children. the alternate universe tim clearly doesn't have any 'bats' in his universe which of course makes him an ideal target because the last thing the bats would want is to tick off another bat family. but the almost horror movie scenario with tim slowly getting more and more sucked into the game because of an innocent determination to beat it and win and then getting tangled up in this plot is so good!!! especially at the end where there's a clear cut between him in his normal world and him in the new one where he dismisses the fact that he's in the manor rather than his nest.

the only way tim would suspect anything amiss would be working backwards from people's reaction to him to figuring out he had died....but then if he were dead...how was he still alive....

a dark batfam going to any lengths necessary to their tim back and manipulating things behind the scenes to the point that tim doesn't even realize he's being lured until they already have him is so perfect!!!

Hazbin Hotel and Tangled the series parallels

・Charlie / Rapunzel

Both Charlie and Rapunzel have a generally very positive attitude. They are friendly and always try to see the good in people. For Charlie, she’s all about second chances and redemption. For Rapunzel, she always tries to help everyone. Also, Charlie and Rapunzel aren’t one to back down from a fight. They are brave and go against injustice.

Personalities aside, both of them are princesses. Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer and the princess Hell. Rapunzel is the daughter of the King and Queen, which makes her the princess of Corona.

Beside their titles, we cannot deny the similarities in appearance. They both have long blonde hair and wear it in almost exactly the same way. Only Charlie’s hair isn’t as long as Rapunzel’s when it’s not put together in the braid-hairstyle-thingy.

・Vaggie / Cassandra

Personally, I think the biggest similarity between Vaggie and Cassandra is the secret-keeping part of their story.

Vaggie is revealed to be an angel who has fallen from grace.

Cassandra is revealed to be the daughter of Gothel.

Though their secrets have nothing in common, it’s not so much about the actual secret than it is about the way they handle the secret. Vaggie never told Charlie about the fact that she was an angel and part of the exterminations. Cassandra didn’t know she was Gothel’s daughter for the majority of her life and after she does find out she doesn’t tell Rapunzel. She keeps it a secret until the final moment when she takes charge of her own destiny.

So yes, the secrets are different, the reveal of the secrets is different too, but the fact they both keep a secret from their blonde (girl)friend stays the same.

・Lucifer / Varian

The most obvious similarity is, of course, the voice actor. Lucifer and Varian are both voiced by the talented Jeremy Jordan.

One of the easy to spot parallels is the character introduction. Both characters are introduced in a suspenseful way. Meant to intimidate the viewer, only for it to show the actual character a few seconds later, which turns out to be a dorky inventor.

When we are introduced to Lucifer, the music is a tad menacing and the whole shot tries to be dark and mysterious, like the all-powerful Lucifer, only to show him being proud of his rubber duckie, completely shattering expectations for this dark entity. Varian is introduced in a very similar way. He is presented as this threatening figure, only to reveal he’s just a 14-year-old who cares about science (alchemy, specifically)

On top of that, Lucifer and Varian are both inventors. Lucifer spends his time creating rubber duckies. Anyone who knows Varian, knows inventions aren’t his main thing. He’s all about the science of things, alchemy is his speciality. Still, Varian did recreate the automatons and made other machines across the series.

・Ready For This / Ready As I’ll Ever Be / Through It All

All three songs have the same core: a song to get ready for battle, but all three go about it differently. Ready For This and Through It All match the most. Both songs are upbeat songs meant to rally the troops. At this point in the story the characters are getting ready to face a threat and spreading motivation.

Charlie is actively gathering souls to fight with her against the Extermination, whereas Rapunzel is trying to lift everyone’s spirits before they leave to go to the castle.

Ready As I’ll Ever Be still matches in terms of its core: prepare for battle, but goes about it in a different way. Both Ready For This and Through It All are songs sung by the protagonist with a large ensemble to back them up as the song progresses. Ready As I’ll Ever Be is sung from different perspectives from different characters: Varian, Cassandra, Rapunzel, King Frederic. Only towards the end everyone harmonises because they all have one thing in common: they are ready as they’ll ever be to face whatever the opponent throws at them. But still, each character has a different motivation to fight. Honestly, I could go on and on about how great of a song this is, but then this post would get way too long.

・Destiny

A big part of the plot of Tangled the series revolves around destiny, especially in the second and third season it discusses Rapunzel’s destiny a lot. For most of season three the plot is all about destiny. Cassandra’s turn to the dark side, Zhan Tiri being brought back to life, the final battle. It’s all connected to the concept of destiny and how Rapunzel has to be the one to end it.

Hazbin Hotel doesn’t have the same focus on destiny like Tangled the series. Instead, it is only referenced in passing and not part of any discussion (if I remember correctly)

EA has announced two new Sims 4 Content Updates for April and July!

The first Sims 4 Roadmap is slowly coming to an end, and EA is letting you know about their last bit coming in April!

The new Sims 4 Content Updates, scheduled first for April and then July 2024, are all about adding better representation of Black hairstyles and visual features. In a yet to be released blog from thesims.com, we’ve discovered that there’s going to be two drops:

How The Sims and its partners are expanding diversity and representation in gaming

Maxis teams up with Dark & Lovely and Danielle “Ebonix” Udogaranya to help more players see themselves in games

Here at Maxis, inclusivity is one of our key values. We know that inclusion matters, and we aim to ensure that everyone feels represented—not just in our games but also in how we work; it’s ingrained in the very culture of our studio.

So when we got the opportunity to work with both legendary beauty brand Dark & Lovely and multi-award-winning gaming content creator and DE&I advocate Danielle “Ebonix” Udogaranya, we leaped at the chance. The result is “Play in Color,” a campaign and documentary that shines a spotlight on the importance of authentic representation in gaming.

For much of the history of the video game industry, authentic representation and features of people of color and other marginalized communities have been significantly underrepresented. These groups have made up a substantial segment of the gaming community from the very beginning, but games have often dramatically underrepresented Black hairstyles in particular.

At Maxis, we’ve been grateful for the chance to help make progress toward better representation through in-game releases. This includes Vitiligo skin features; updates to Townies, in-game characters, incorporating different backgrounds, regional features, and skin tones to match their story; and collaborations with our extensive community of talented creators. Our updates give players of The Sims the resources to create characters that look like them and tell stories that reflect their lived experiences - but there is so much more room to grow.

This is why we’re so pleased to be collaborating with Dark & Lovely and Ebonix to help draw attention to both the progress being made and the need for continued improvement. To start, we’re supporting our partners with the launch of this campaign that includes a documentary video showcasing the voices of Ebonix, The Sims 4 teammates Senior Creative Director Anna Huerta and Assistant Producer Kaelah Smallwood, and Taireek Simms from the Dark & Lovely team who are helping to drive this progress. Take a look:

Next, building on previous collaborations with Ebonix on in-game features like skin tones and nail options, we’re working with the hair professionals at Dark & Lovely to introduce 24 color combinations across two existing hairstyles in April 2024, inspired by the company’s newest color Immersive Bolds collection.

Then, in a free content drop, we'll introduce a new locs hairstyle that’s also developed in collaboration with Dark & Lovely and available to players in July 2024.

“Ebonix has paved an instrumental path towards greater representation in The Sims through her many years of dedication and work, from her first piece of custom content being a dashiki, to her many diverse and detailed hairstyles offered to the community,” shares Anna Huerta, Senior Creator Director, The Sims 4. “We’re thrilled to be teaming up again to have her as a key part of this campaign as we showcase and advocate for the importance of Black hairstyles in our virtual worlds as much as our real one.”

We’re also extremely excited about the inclusion of one of our own The Sims 4 developers in the campaign. Kaelah first got her start in the video game industry by creating mods for The Sims as a player. “Being very involved in the Sims community,” she says, “I started to notice that there were things fans were asking for that would really make whole groups of people feel better represented—so I decided to figure out how to do it!”

That wasn’t a simple process, of course. Not only did Kaelah have to teach herself how to create mods, but she also had to overcome the practical effects of the aforementioned lack of representation in the industry. “Growing up I always thought that working on video games would be amazing,” she says, “but I never really thought it was possible for me, since I didn’t see many people who looked like me making them. Seeing the diverse group of mod creators for The Sims made it all finally seem possible.”

One notable member of that group, in fact, was Ebonix herself. “Dani’s mods were some of the first ones I downloaded!” Kaelah says. “At the time there weren't many hairstyles in the game that really connected with me, but her mods let young Sims have the same little twists and braids that I had growing up—which is such a huge deal for representation.”

Now she’s able to continue the work of representation within the Sims team itself. “I started making mods,” she says, “all because I wanted to add more diversity and inclusion to the game. So helping make sure that The Sims is actively working to bring diversity and inclusivity to all players is a really big deal to me.”

Of course, this work is ongoing. There will never be a point where we’ll say, “Diversity accomplished!” We will continue to improve however we can. “At every step of the process, we’re thinking about ways to make the game more inclusive and diverse,” Kaelah says. “Because everyone should be able to see themselves in their Sims.”

The sideburns have maintained their length from entering the Bentley and being summoned to Hell. Crowley's still a demon in his demon space with the car as his home. That's the given standard from the story until episode 6 with the exceptional circumstances of The Door Trick that leads into The Window Trick.

Brighter Red Streak Check

The brighter red streak can definitely not be found. The red overall is even more gone, making almost all of the hair look black. Whereas I could get something resembling brown before, this hair is darker with the only brown I can find with vastly increased brightness...near the bottom of the hair on Crowley's neck.

The car and supernatural zone around it did look to make Crowley's hair darker on Shax's visit earlier in this episode, so this change further confirms that idea.

Hairstyle Changes

In Hell, the hair separated into more obvious shapes above the forehead, especially on the left side. It also had a visibly strong contrast in color between right and left.

It seems the story wants the darkness of the hair and the setting to be the strongest point communicated about the hair. I can't see the top style without a massive increase in brightness.

Even then, I struggle to describe it. The right side is the most visible one with a right profile view, and style looks like it is up an arch. Compared to when Crowley was in the car with the flies, the hair is not as curled in places. From a front view, it overall goes up and tilts to Crowley's right. That's a bit similar to when first encountering Gabriel.

Earthly Objects

Point #1 for touching the sunglasses.

Point #2 for saying Aziraphale's name.

Point #3 for the question, "Aziraphale, what have you done?"

Even though Aziraphale is not around to answer the question, it looks like the point still counts with Crowley not saying anything else after it.

The touch on the sunglasses is quite interesting to a player like myself because it was actually a clue for me to solve The Sunglasses Trick (without knowing about the advanced pocket mechanics). It is not how most humans put their sunglasses on. It is also not a threshold-only touch. This touch is like touching the earthly parts of a door. I think this method is intentionally keeping the sunglasses in Door Mode. It helps as a clue for The Sunglasses Trick because that helps keep the number of threshold-only touches where they should be.

Crowley covers up the right end piece completely with his right hand, especially the palm. That is the same hand he used to remove them to begin with before the summon.

That's not all he does.

The left hand also avoids the usual end piece focus but in a different way. All of the hand is part of the touch but instead of the index finger and thumb, the ring finger and pinky are what touch the end piece. The thumb is visible, but the tip of the thumb is not visible. Furthermore, all the fingers and thumb are collectively slid back slightly along the temple.

Paying attention to the pockets, when Crowley starts to put them on, there is an extra shine on the left top rim of the sunglasses. Looking around for what might be important, there is a pocket formed between his right cheek, the right temple of the sunglasses, his blurry index finger, and his shoulder.

The area below the left eye gets a considerably stronger shadow over it compared to the rest of the face in the movement though part of the cheek itself is more shiny when the shadow isn't over it. The middle finger rises slightly more to help form yet another little closed pocket. With the left hand progressing in its touch, the middle finger pocket disappears. By the end of the touch, the left hand has formed a pocket that includes some of Crowley's left ear.

The watch is visible as this touch is taking place.

The lighting overall favors Crowley's left, as is often the case.

Tangentially related, I have started reading more Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman in a desperate attempt to improve my play. I've read The Color of Magic, The Quite Nice and Fairly Accurate Good Omens Script Book, and The Light Fantastic. I'm now re-reading Equal Rites.

Story Commentary

Besides the clue to an audience player for The Sunglasses Trick, why is Crowley keeping the sunglasses in Door Mode? Is it because he's going to touch the left end piece for his next touch in The Sunglasses Trick during the same episode?

Is it secret advanced pocket mechanics?

Is it so Saraqael can watch him from Heaven?

There is a top angle shot of the car as he starts to drive away. Saraqael is who the story will later show as looking down over Earth when the alarms go off in Heaven.

After Crowley puts his sunglasses back on, there is a slight glance to the mirror. That's another potential sideburns check as he gets ready for the drive.

It looks like the street is still wet with no rain known to have happened to make it wet.

Buddy Daddies interview with Uchiyama Koki

Interview with Uchiyama Koki (voice actor for Suwa Rei)

Interviewer: When you first saw the character design, description, and other information about Suwa Rei, what impression did you have?

Uchiyama: He had a chilly air, and his personality didn't seem cheery at all. I had a very strong impression of coldness, as if he'd closed off his heart. The description said that "he was raised in an unusual environment, and works as an assassin", but since it was an original series, I had no idea what future development he would go through. So I figured he must still have plenty of hidden depths in store.

Interviewer: And how did it feel to actually act as him?

Uchiyama: (Kurusu) Kazuki and (Unasaka) Miri have lots of lighthearted interactions which roll along at a brisk pace, but when Rei joins in, he can't really keep up with that pace and energy; I was often reminded to convey that during the recording sessions. There are a lot of conversation scenes among the three members of the household, and I was told not to fall into their rhythm. When you're talking to someone, it's natural to get emotionally caught up in the conversation, and to be mindful of the other person when choosing your words. But when it came to Rei, it was very important to keep that tendency in check.

Interviewer: You were essentially playing the dual roles of father to Miri, and a professional assassin. Was there anything you kept in mind at those times?

Uchiyama: In Rei's case - first of all, when his hairstyle changes, he leaves a very distinct visual impression, and so I figured that had to make some difference. During the recording sessions, I was asked to give him a slightly different vibe whenever he entered assassin mode. And as for the parts where he's being a father to Miri, I felt like that aspect developed bit by bit as the story progressed - early on, he doesn't have the sort of concern or feelings for her that Kazuki does. Rei's fatherly feelings build up through various incidents, and it made sense that it would be a gradual development.

Interviewer: Please tell us your impressions of Kazuki and Miri, as well as what you find appealing about each of them.

Uchiyama: I think Kazuki is an essentially cheerful person, and takes an interest in all sorts of things. Unlike Rei, he has very strong life skills; he can cook and clean and do laundry to perfection, and he can communicate smoothly with others. No matter whether he's dealing with the job or the housework, he tackles it proactively. It sounds strange to say that he "enjoys" his job as an assassin, but on the whole, I do get the impression that he really revels in life in general. That's his charm. Miri is as bright as the sun, and chatters away cheerfully in a loud voice. I think she has a natural ability to lift the spirits of the people around her, with her laughing and singing. Plus she has quite a wealth of different expressions, and not just childishly adorable ones - her goofy faces and wicked smirks are also drawn in fine detail. That level of expressiveness and variation is also charming. I think it's good that she has traits beyond just cuteness.

Interviewer: From the episodes that have aired so far, are there any scenes that left an impression on you, or that you're especially fond of?

Uchiyama: There's a scene where they're struggling to balance their life with Miri and their job, and so they head to the government office, but what I really found memorable was how we begin to see all the aspects of "parenting" from there. Part of the process is that they have to write her name on all her belongings for daycare; I thought that little detail was very effective. And in the scene where they go shopping for high-end children's clothing, it was interesting to see Kazuki go on about how, when you're entering a group environment, you have to try to look cool right from the start. I've spotted designer children's clothing in department stores, and I've always wondered what sort of parent would buy such expensive stuff. Turns out Kazuki does. (laughs) That was on my mind as well.

Interviewer: Please tell us what you think are the selling points of this series "Buddy Daddies".

Uchiyama: I think it really is the feeling you only get from an original anime, that you have no way to tell where things are going from here. I also recorded every episode with no idea how it would all turn out in the end. From the midpoint onwards, Miri's mother is an important character as well, and various dramas are playing out in parallel, including each character's past. In that way, every episode brings a sense of freshness, and I think you can enjoy that without ever getting bored.

Interviewer: Finally, please give a message to everyone who is enjoying this series.

Uchiyama: When it comes to Rei, his past and background are still a mystery in many ways. We get a few glimpses from his conversations with Kazuki, but the series will delve more deeply into that from now on. Please pay close attention to the story of the Rei, Kazuki, and Miri trio, as well as to each character's life until now. And this one is a minor detail, but I'd like to note that there are a lot of homages to legendary movies scattered throughout. The scene of making French toast is reminiscent of "Kramer vs. Kramer" [1979 legal drama], and Ogino Ryo is a lot like Chigurh from "No Country for Old Men" [2007 thriller by the Coen brothers]. I think it would be wonderful if you could appreciate those hidden references as well. I hope you will follow this series all the way to the finale.

The picture on the wanted poster is similar to the alternate Hongjoong you're accompanied by...all but the scar drawn across his left eye.

How many of them are there?

You immediately turn to Hongjoong. 

"We are in the wrong universe," you whisper.

"How do you know?" he asks. Without another word, you hold up the wanted poster for him to see. His eyes widen and he pushes it down from where you hold it, hoping that no one passing by caught a glimpse. "Okay, okay."

"Are you a wanted scoundrel in every universe?" you ask in a hushed tone. He doesn't answer—just gives you a look of annoyance, and you take the liberty of asking another question. "Do you think I can try to use the Cromer to get us back right now?"

"We can try, but I doubt it will work. Whatever ability you have...it seems to be strongest when you are in danger. That's when you have been able to jump."

"So, what you are saying is...you want me to put myself in danger on purpose?" You eye him in disbelief. "Is there no other way?"

"Perhaps there is...I just believe this would be the easiest way, given the circumstances. I do not want us to be here very long and try to figure out an alternative." He looks up to make sure no one is listening. "We must also find a way to assure that you jump to the correct universe the first time. It could weaken you to jump so frequently. Did you not notice how you were feeling when we first got here? You could barely breathe, Y/N."

"I—I thought I was just panicking like anyone else would, being thrown off a ship," you admit. You take your own glance around and your eyes land on two more wanted signs on the wall.

"Alright. Whatever it takes to get out of here. I do not like it," you mumble. Hongjoong nods in agreement. 

"Well, the good news is that all we have to do to put ourselves in danger is to get someone to see us and recognize us as this city's wanted criminals."

"Recognize us? I think you mean you. What if I do not feel threatened enough to use the Cromer because they are not actually after me?"

"That won't be a problem, my lady." The man in front of you snatches a piece of paper from the wall beside you, unwrinkling it to face you. 

Wanted: Y/N L/N

"You have got to be kidding me." You shiver at the sight...perhaps you should have expected it at this point. You squint at the paper, carefully taking it from Hongjoong. The picture of the you from this universe resembles you more than the other alternates do. She has no scars across her face, and there is no difference in your hairstyle like the others. You run your finger along the picture, never having seen one so...real. "How do they do it?" you ask curiously.

"Do what?" Hongjoong whispers, pulling you into the shadows between a pair of buildings. 

"Make pictures so detailed?"

"They print..." Hongjoong trails off, scratching his head. "This society is very progressed. They have technology that yours does not have just yet."

"Wow." You marvel at the paper again.

"This universe is very industrialized." You pretend to understand what he is saying and nod, taking one last glance at the paper before crumpling it in your palm.

"Let's get out of here." As you crumple the paper, a thought comes to the back of your mind. You attempt to push it away, not wanting to spiral, but it persists. "What if I am already too weak to use the Cromer again?" you blurt. Hongjoong looks at you, his expression softening...something that reminds you of how your own Hongjoong looks at you.

"Y/N." He places a hand on your shoulder. "Your condition seems to be well. Do you know strong you are for being able to take us everywhere that you have? You're incredible. You're strong. I know this is something you're capable of. It might be difficult, but you can do it." You bite your lip, looking to your feet.

"I will try my best." You sigh. You miss your friends. You miss your Hongjoong. And though you hate to compare them, it's impossible, really. You can admit that this version of Hongjoong is comforting. He is similarly intelligent and respectful, and your interactions have been alright aside from the night you had pried too far with your question about what the Guardians had taken from him. You still can't help but think about it...

What could he possibly need back so badly that he has gotten into trouble with the Guardians himself? If you return him to his universe now, will he have less of a punishment for causing trouble? Maybe there will be worse consequences now that he is traveling with you.

When will it end? You seem to be a conduit for trouble, your previous luck now balancing out with negatives. If you had never decided to go on a journey without your father, would you still be in this mess? Maybe you never would have met Hongjoong or fallen in love with him...at least then he would be safe. His crew would be safe. Away from you.

You rub your hands together, keeping them close to the small fire that Hongjoong had started. He had decided it would be ideal to rest back at the abandoned building you arrived at and then carry on with your plan in the morning. So here you are, on the second level of the building that isn't flooded with knee-deep water. "So tired," you mumble.

"I can only imagine. You need as much rest as possible before we carry out our escape tomorrow," Hongjoong says, sitting down next to you.

"May we go over the plan again?" He nods. 

"Tomorrow, we will return to the inner city. It's simple, really. You will anonymously report that Kim Hongjoong and Y/N L/N have been spotted near the center of town. Do you remember that shrine we passed?"

If he is referring to the scarecrow-like thing dressed in torn black robes and a black hat...yes, you do know. It would be quite hard to forget.

"Yes."

"We will head there. We will wait for their men to arrive, and when they attempt to capture us...you get us out." You tuck your knees into your chest as you think about how terrifying his plan is. What other choice do you have, though?

"Do you think that I could return you to your universe? You mentioned that there has to be some way I can control the Cromer...we just have not figured it out."

"I suppose if you are able to return me, it would be ideal. It would save you from using all your energy to take us back and forth. Also, the longer I am with you, the more we are at risk of being captured by Guardians." You sigh, resting your forehead on your knees. 

"Is it too simple to conclude that I would just need to think about what universe I want to travel to before I go there?" you ask, your voice muffled. You cannot see Hongjoong, but you can imagine his face as he thinks. 

"No, not at all. Now that I think about it, that must be what you have been doing. The only times you have jumped to the wrong place, like this one, were the times you were not expecting to jump at all. Therefore, you were not thinking about a specific universe and the Cromer just took you wherever it decided." You lift your head, meeting his eyes that reflect the warm light of the fire in front of you. "Think about it, Y/N. The night we first encountered each other. When you brought us back to your universe, of course you had been thinking of your home." He runs a hand through his hair. "But earlier when I pushed you away from the Guardian without warning, the Cromer just took us here. I think it's because you weren't focused on a specific universe at that point. It makes perfect sense, Y/N." 

You nod. "If that is true, then I will try my best to get you home tomorrow, Joong." The nickname that you have for your lover accidentally slips off your tongue, your face becoming warm. He doesn't seem to notice as he stares into the fire in front of you.

"It doesn't seem much like home anymore, back where I'm from." You furrow your brows at his statement. 

"But if you do not go back, there could be worse punishments for you."

"Yes, but I think I've already received the worst punishment I could have in this life." You start to shift anxiously, thinking about all the possible things that could have happened to him for him to think like this.

"You must go back. The Guardians will kill you," you state, a sick feeling taking over you.

"I will return for some time," he replies calmly. "But I believe that to die while fighting for what is mine would be an honorable death." You so badly want to protest his statement, but you know this is something he has thought about for a torturous amount of time.

"Hongjoong..." He looks to you, his eyes glassy. "What have they done to you?" Your voice is just a whisper. He looks away again with hesitation.

"They took my love from me," he says. "She did not deserve that fate. I cannot imagine what she has gone through." He inhales sharply before continuing. "Every day, I pray that they've just brought her to a better world. One where she is not suffering or living a life she cannot bear." You feel his emotions intensely, tears starting to prick at your eyes as he opens up to you. You attempt to blink them away as you meet his gaze again.

"It must be difficult...I am deeply sorry that this happened to you." He nods, lips pulled in a tight line. "I am sure that she is out there, and I will pray that she is safe as well," you assure. Looking down at your hands that grip the torn hem of your dress, you start to feel the inevitable exhaustion of the day's events. 

Your head feels foggy as you think about many things all at once. You think about Hongjoong's lover and what she must have been like. You think about the seemingly endless number of universes. You think about how anything would ever be normal again if you make it home.

"Thank you," you hear Hongjoong say suddenly. He sounds far away, despite being right beside you. 

You can only manage to hum in response, your head falling to rest on his shoulder as you give into sleep.

i think the tassels are more like hairstyles, like a pen could grow theirs out and trim/style it to look like a cob's and vice versa

+ different ethnic groups wear theirs differently

but like the styles shown in the image are the stereotypical pen and cob styles for each gender for this specific ethnicity

i think intersexuality would seen more like a seperate sex than a mutation/defect, because most intersex individuals are still fertile (obviously theres cases where they aren't because intersexuality is a spectrum), the way its seen in their culture depends on the different ethnicities

their sexual dismorphism is just super sensitive, as they get older the change in hormones definitely changes their appearance, kinda like a second puberty

but as children they look basically exactly the same

i haven't decided if you should be able to tell what sex they are at birth

i normally lean towards no because im not really into gender roles unless its for story reasons, like for example another one of my species, tyraphs, are matriarchal, to the point theyre symbolism for the patriarchal society that are humans

i just think its interesting to see how you can explore human concepts in the context of a alien, seeing it in a new lens

sorry for the random rant at the end there lol 😅

but either way im just trying to make them fit into the context of minecolonies roles

i do know that in that game both female and male npcs have equal chances of being the same things, its mostly up to you on which colonists get which job so i might lean less them having a gender binary (or trinary) but it is interesting

Eddie Munson stood on the stage, his fingers gripping the guitar strings tightly as he prepared to perform with his band at a corroded coffin gig. The room was dimly lit, with a gritty atmosphere that perfectly matched the music they played. The crowd was mostly filled with the usual metalheads and punk enthusiasts, all clad in leather jackets and sporting edgy hairstyles. However, amidst the sea of black, a burst of color caught Eddie's attention.

There, standing near the front row, was a girl who seemed completely out of place. She wore a vibrant pink dress, adorned with lace and ribbons. Her long, flowing hair was meticulously styled, cascading in perfect waves down her back. With her flawless makeup and a sweet smile, she stood in stark contrast to the rough and grungy atmosphere of the gig. Eddie couldn't help but be intrigued.

As the band started to play their first song, Eddie's eyes kept wandering back to the girl in pink. He couldn't understand what had brought her here, but she seemed genuinely captivated by the music. She bobbed her head and tapped her foot to the beat, her eyes sparkling with excitement. It was as if she had found her own little slice of heaven in this world of chaos.

After their set, Eddie made his way off the stage, wiping sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. He walked over to the girl in pink, who was now chatting with a few other fans. When he approached her, she turned her attention toward him and smiled warmly.

"Hey there," Eddie said, his voice slightly hoarse from singing.

"Hi!" she replied, her voice sweet and melodic. "That was an amazing performance! You guys are really talented."

Eddie's eyes widened in surprise. "Thanks, but, um, what brings you here? I mean, not that it's a bad thing, but you seem... different from the usual crowd."

She giggled softly. "Oh, I get that a lot. I've always loved this kind of music. It's a great way to release some energy and have fun, you know? Besides, I have a secret."

Eddie raised an eyebrow. "A secret?"

She leaned in closer, as if about to share something scandalous. "My older brother is actually best friends with Kirk Hammett from Metallica."

Eddie's jaw dropped, and he couldn't help but stare at her in disbelief. "Wait, seriously? You know Kirk Hammett?"

She nodded, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "Yeah, it's true. He's been to our house a few times for dinner. Super nice guy, by the way."

Eddie's mind reeled. This girl, who appeared to be the epitome of the "good girl" stereotype, had just dropped a bombshell on him. He had always been a massive Metallica fan, idolizing Kirk Hammett's guitar skills. The fact that this seemingly perfect girl had a connection to his idol was mind-boggling.

They continued to talk, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Eddie learned that her name was Y/N, and she wasn't as cliché as she initially seemed. Sure, she loved wearing pink and excelled academically, but beneath the surface, she was witty, intelligent, and possessed a surprising depth of knowledge about music.

As the night progressed, Eddie and Y/N found themselves lost in conversation, their initial assumptions about each other shattered. They discovered shared interests beyond music and delved into personal stories, finding common ground they never expected. Eddie realized that sometimes, the most extraordinary connections could be formed with people who appeared to be polar opposites.

In that dimly lit venue, surrounded by the raw energy of the music, Eddie and Y/N discovered a bond that defied stereotypes and expectations. It was a reminder that true connections often lurked in the most unexpected places, waiting to be found by those willing to look beyond the surface.

I’ll send progress pictures as I work on your piece and am willing to do slight revisions [changing a hairstyle, tweaking colors, fixing a nose, etc.]. But anything larger --like completely redoing a pose -- will be incur an extra, charge and is subject to being treated as a new project. If during the commission process you decide you'd like to upgrade into a higher tier, just let me know via our correspondence. Feel free to ignore this, but I love reading your analysis and was wondering how you start analyzing things? I try to do it myself but I always feel so unconfident in my interpretations and feel scared about posting about them and them being “wrong.”

Ooh, what a good question! I'm happy to share a little, sure.

So my first (and probably the most important) response to this is: it's hard to feel 100% sure that you are totally "correct" about this stuff.

There are always going to be other ways to interpret things. There are things you miss, or perspectives you don't consider. There will always be people who disagree. And even if you are as accurate and totally convincing as humanly possible, there always going to be different types of analysis that you can't cover all at the same time!

I think, especially when it comes to like, doing casual analysis for something you love, it really helps to just follow your passion. It's fine to speak confidently about an interpretation that you find compelling, even if you haven't considered every possible angle of how it could be wrong. It's about what speaks to you, after all.

For instance, the conflict-avoidant Falin post (which is currently the analysis post of mine with the most notes) was largely born from an interpretation of Falin that really resonated with me, based on a couple of points I remembered strongly from reading the story. It's definitely not the only way to look at Falin, and I don't think it's like the universally correct interpretation of her character. But it is the interpretation that got ME interested in talking about her, and in turn, resonated with other people, too!

I have plenty of anxiety about this stuff, so I won't pretend that it's just easy to turn off that "what if I'm wrong, though" part of your brain, but I will say it doesn't hurt to try to start writing. You can always draft a post and come back to it, or delete/private it, or reblog it later to add more context or nuance. You aren't shackled to your opinion forever, much as the internet (and anxiety) can make it feel that way.

As to where to actually start with analysis... for me, it's almost always either a detail, a question, or both.

Here's an example of an Idea In Progress I've been thinking about.

While I was grabbing screenshots from the Nightmare chapter, I noticed that Marcille's hairstyle there is similar to one of the chapter covers I'd also just looked at:

So like, that's interesting to me! Especially since the cover was from the chapter where Marcille makes her deal with the Winged Lion. So then I can start to ask like... what does it mean that there's this similarity? I could tie it in to the way I think the Lion kind of infantilizes her, talk about what influence the Nightmare chapter might have had on Marcilles decision. Alternatively, I could ask, are there any other similar times Marcille wears this hairstyle? Any other hairstyles that are repeated at key times?

Any of which could lead to some fun analysis! Alternatively, it can also just be fun to post about the detail without the analysis. Just be like, "hey, look at this weird thing." Other people might chime in with ideas about it, or maybe it will sparks something for you later! Either way, you'll have an easy reference saved for reference. Even if deeper analysis doesn't come, it's still fun to have pointed out. Details and connections are just. They are just great. And Dunmeshi especially has SO much to dig into.

(Oh, also, quick aside here: ignore anyone who tells you the details don't matter and weren't intentional. It fully does not matter. If drawing a connection helps you realize a new meaning in the story - if it inspires and motivates you - it's worth investigating.)

Anyway, the Adventurer's Bible is also a great place to find details to jump off of. The timelines and little blurbs highlight important events or facts about the characters, and you can then go fishing for other times those things come up or are referenced in the story.

In terms of starting from a question, it can also be fun just to spend a little time with something you don't feel like you totally got. I had a great time doing that with the succubus chapter, for instance. If there's a scene you find yourself kind of skimming over because its not clicking for you... go back and try and examine it! Even if it's just a small thing - an expression you missed or a panel with a funny little joke - it can be just as rewarding to try and pay attention to the parts of the story you don't understand as it is to dig into the parts you do.

Really, in a lot of ways, I like to use analysis as an excuse to just spend time with a story I care about. It's a way to savor it! And if you can write up those thoughts and ideas, you can share them with others, which can be even better. A dish doesn't have to be perfectly cooked to delicious, after all.
