No, it's not another Weirdmageddon- The Gravity Falls Seasons Zine is officially up for preorders!!! Visit the store here!

Hi oh my god, this is the proshipping-polls mod. Sorry to bother you every time something happens, I just don't know what to do and I wanted to let people know!

So, I had everything set up to restart the blog today, but yesterday morning I woke up to the main account it was on, mod-nyashley, terminated. And since that was the main, I thought the side account would be gone too, and had pretty much given up on ever trying to remake the poll blog.

Apparently though, proshipping-polls-iii is still up and posted my scheduled post for today? No polls will be posted because I had the queue paused, but I have zero access to the account. It's kinda just. Floating in the void

I have no idea what to do. I'll try to contact tumblr asap to see if I can get access to the new one and get things back on track, but I have no idea if they'll answer me. They haven't so far regarding all my other accounts...

hi, I don't mind, it's no bother!

that's really frustrating! for some reason, tumblr doesn't like to respond when they have obviously made a mistake with denying a report or wrongfully terminating an account. for example, they never got back to me when I reported a nazi, and not when I reported transphobes who's content definitely fell into the "inciting hatred" category, but did get back to me about much smaller incidents. it's weird.

I actually can't find info on ban evasion for some reason, is it not technically disallowed on tumblr, or is it supposed to be common sense?

The rule I assume they can justify it with is "promotion of child sexual abuse, including illustrations or text" which is just silly. And I believe the Dipper/Mabel poll got taken down, right? Which means that it's not exclusively "child sexual abuse" that's the problem..

Since problematic-polls was also nuked, I wondered if they ban blogs that may cause arguments or are problematic, but there are so many blogs dedicated to transphobia that it would require a ton of double standards.

I don't know if there's anything I or followers of this blog can do, but I can try bothering customer support too lol. No fun allowed on tumblr.com it seems

stanford/ford pines: Self-explanatory, really. Every character’s will be added when they are interacted with or mentioned to a degree of importance. However, this universe’s Stanford in particular is the lovely @grunklefordpines! Interactions usually lead to the billfordivorce tag, which I highly recommend. Also kind of self-explanatory.

the siren: A character that has become important to the plotlines we go through. She’s that siren Ford once “dated”, and her name is Calypso. Since remeeting Ford, she’s been trying to battle her insecurities over being a monster by going through a sort of “redemption arc”. Bill has negative feelings about her, and they argue. Calypso can be found at @stanfordssiren, and prominent tags to do with her are sirenford, sirenfordivorce, and billypso.

henchmaniac(s): You know ‘em. Found at @henchmaniac-kryptos & @henchmaniacteeth. :)

There are other characters that exist in this particular universe- A lot! Most that Bill hasn’t interacted with that much yet, but they would/will be found at their character tags. We’ve got Mabel, Fiddleford, Soos, maybe Dipper??, Pacifica, and a couple others.

euclydia / scalene and euclid: Any time they’re mentioned or even interact.

billford: Self explanatory, and rarer than billfordivorce.

theraprism: Anything about that. Bill is also currently here for the foreseeable (?) future.

billypso: The arc in which Bill either disguised himself as or got someone that Mabel dubbed as “Wrongzilla” to message Calypso and dilate her insecurities until he could manipulate her into a deal. He attempted to restart Weirdmageddon (and accomplish other side goals) in her vessel, and there was much chaos in which many fell under the hypnosis of her song. In the end, when an Axolotl could not convince Bill to surrender (multitasking chat), a theraprismist showed up on the Axolotl’s behalf to stop him (and failed rather quickly). Finally, this Axolotl stepped in and stripped o Bill of his remaining powers, which slingshotted him out of the siren and back into his cell and body, where he remains now, worse off. L.

billypso aftermath: The current arc. Cipher is furious about what happened and adjusting back to Theraprism. Meanwhile, the rest are newly traumatized and attempting to mend what was broken. Bill wants to break things further.

Think that’s about it! There are also some holiday non-canon rps located by symbol tags, but they don’t actually matter.

And, of course, don’t take what Bill says to heart. He speaks Cipher- It’s terminal. We all know who he is. A deeply messed up triangle who takes giddy pleasure out of pain. Don’t expect him to be kind or to give actual advice.

Gravity Falls big Bang 2024!

Wow! After an overwhelming positive response to the interest check, this event is going to go ahead and begin! I will start by giving some more information/answering some of the questions from the interest check:

This is going to be a general Gravity Falls Big Bang! Which means you can create (almost) anything! A Pacifica x Dipper Time Travel AU? Go ahead! A Billford comic strip? Sounds good to us! Mabel and Stanley just spending quality family time together? We'd love to see it!

Does this mean a specific big bang can't/won't be happening? Nope! Just means it won't be through this blog. We may decide to run a specific big bang through a different blog.

Can I be both an artist and a writer? Can I moderate and still participate? Can I do more than one thing? Ab-so-tut-ly! If you feel like you can commit to playing more than one role, then go for it I say!

Will NSFW content be allowed? Yes! We will allow NSFW/18+ rated content. Some things we are NOT allowing is incest (ie. Dipper x Mabel, Stanley x Stanford, etc.), or any large age gap relationships. This does include Dipper/Wendy romantically. Dipper and Wendy being best buddies is totally welcome though!

What's our timeframe for this event? The official timeframe is TBD! We will make an official post once we acquire more people.
